Abstract:
The aim of this research is to analyze the current business process at the procurement department at PT Pillar Utama Contrindo as well as develop a web based e-procurement application prototype to supportprocurement process at the company. Interview, survey, as well as analysis and design to develop the prototype are used in the research. The research results in an e-procurement application prototype built to minimize errors on related document filling, help the company to get best price on their supply, and increase control. It can be concluded from the research that the protoype can be implemented to be a tool for the users to decide the best supplier, obtain the best price, and increase control in buying process at PT Pillar Utama Contrindo.

Abstract:
This paper corresponds to the results of an experimental research that to led to the design of a useful prototype for quality control of measurements in the field of tonometry to diagnose and check glaucoma. All tonometry techniques are based on Goldmann ́s tonometers (GT) and the Imbert-Fick principle. Taking into account the principles and techniques of industrial metrology, the prototype could be used as a standard to calibrate the pressure readings of this class of tonometers. The developed protoype eliminates the indirect measurement that is required with current standards and facilitates a greater control of the sources of error in the measurement. The model is based on the integration of a sensor to a hydraulic model to measure pressures from 0 to 80 mmHg range, whose precision was validated through R&R studies. The precision of the prototype was validated according to the Rigel UNI-SIM standard and was complemented by calibrating 15 tonometers.

Website Desa Wisata Branjang merupakan sebuah website yang diperuntukkan bagi calon wisatawan untuk memesan tiket masuk pada Desa Branjang. Namun, fitur pada website Desa Wisata Branjang belum mencukupi kebutuhan pengguna. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan peninjauan ulang untuk mengetahui permasalahan dan penyempurnaan kebutuhan website Desa Wisata Branjang. Metode penelitian bersifat deskriptif kualitatif yang didukung dengan metode design thinking. Pendekatan design thinking melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu empathize, define, ideate, prototype dan test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis design thinking, informan menginginkan website dengan tampilan menarik serta mampu mempromosikan Desa Branjang. Hasil penelitian ini berupa model perancangan website berupa prototype. Pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan tahapan design thinking hanyasampai pada protoype karena program studi independen yang bekerja sama pada PT Amati Indonesia menyusun kurikulum tidak sampai dilakukan uji test terhadap pengguna. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan metode design thinking merupakan proses yang berurutan untuk mendapatkan solusi yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat.

In aviation engineering, Aviation Safety must be an extreme concern for the government as a regulator / facilitator, each component of the Airport sub-system in conducting its operations must still prioritize flight safety and safety. In this case the supporting components and the utilization of AI technology are felt to be very necessary in order to complete the needs will Fulfill Flight Safety by utilizing robots as a medium. In general, robots can be defined as a mechanical device that is able to do human work or behave like humans. One of the human jobs that can be done by robots is fire fighting activities. In this study, researchers designed a Fire Extinguisher Robot to find and extinguish fire. The design of this robot uses an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 as a parameter for the robot's path when there are objects around and a fire sensor module as a detector for the presence of fire this robot uses MG995 servo that is useful as a controller hose from the water pump. The circuit in this robot has important components, the Arduino microcontroller functions as the brain of the robot and the L298P Motor Shield Driver functions as a DC motor drive module. If the robot detects a fire while walking, the robot will stop and extinguish the fire using water and candles are used as a fire simulation when a fire is happening.

Sehingga penulis mengambil subjek penelitian membuat sebuah alat peraga salah satu permesinan di atas kapal yaitu pembuatan prototype sistem kompresor udara start pada kapal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembuatan, sistem kerja, serta manfaat dari prototype sistem kompresor udara start pada kapal. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development, merupakan prosescuntuk mengembangkan suatu produk baru atau menyempurnakan produk yang sudah ada, baik itu perangkat keras maupun perangkat lunak. Pembuatan prototype sistem kompresor udara start pada kapal ini memanfaatkan dua buah modul elektronika dimana modul tersebut adalah modul jenis timmer delay relay1 channel, dan modul timmer delay relay 2 channel dimana kedua modul tersebut diprogram langsung dengan tombol yang ada pada modul. Sistem kerja yang ada pada alat peraga ini adalah kompresor mengisi udara pada tabung hingga tekanan mencukupi, kemudia udara bertekanan pada tabung akan digunakan untuk start mesin induk yang berupa simulasi sebuah silinder piston dari mesin 4 tak. Sistem ini dapat berjalan karena adanya kontrol otomatisasi dari modul elektronika. Kata Kunci: Protoype, Kompresor, Timmer Delay Relay.

The 21st century Navy combatant ship will experience exponential increases in shipboard information to be processed, disseminated and integrated. High Definition System (HDS) technology will provide for the convergence of text, graphics, digital video, imagery, and complex computing to allow for a new range of advanced capabilities that exceed those of currently available workstations. These capabilities could result in unmanageable and overwhelming cognitive workloads for Navy tactical operators in CIC (Combat Information Center). For this reason, a prototype user interface was designed using future combat system requirements, proposed HDS capabilities, and human-computer interface design standards and principles. Usability testing of the protoype user interface was conducted as part of an effort to identify integrated information management technologies which reduce operator workload, increase human performance, and improve combat system effectiveness. This demonstration will focus on explanation and demonstration of future concepts envisioned for the AEGIS operational environment; organization and functionality of the menu structures and window contents; the usability testing methods utilized; results from usability testing; and plans for utilization of the prototype shell in other operational environments.

Abstract:
One character that can be shaped in students at school is discipline. The exact time to enter school is one of the criteria for discipline that is applied in the Aliyah Negri 2 Ponorogo Madarasah. In order to improve information services to student guardians, MAN 2 Ponorogo changed the way manual attendance was made to students with fingerprint technology. But there are shortcomings in the use of fingerprint machines, the presence data on the machine is not real time in reporting student attendance to schools and student guardians. The solution is to integrate a fingerprint machine with Raspberry pi control. The Raspberry pi will automatically process the presence data inside the fingerprint machine so that it can be accessed via the web wherever the user is located and automatically sends the attendance report to the guardian using the telegram media. The design of this study uses the waterfall method in designing application prototypes and the results are tested using the blackbox method with a boundary value analysis technique. In subjective testing the system will be tested using a questionnaire about the ease of using the system to users.

Instrument yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi berupa angket dengan menggunakan skala likert. Diperoleh hasil validasi untuk produk Media Pembelajaran Statistika Berbasis Android Dengan Teknik Peta Konsep untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa program studi sistem informasi universitas putra Indonesia YPTK Padang adalah sebesar 3,75 dengan kategori sangat valid.

<p>This study aims to: (1) create category of knowledge communities in university library, (2) designing the prototype of an online encyclopedia of knowledge communities in the university library, and (3) testing a prototype of an online encyclopedia of knowledge communities. The method used is the analysis of web content of the communities website at IPB and development protoype using the MediaWiki software. The first results of this study are categories of knowledge created consisting of the main knowledge about the student association, student activity units, other communities, the terms of the campus and the surrounding of the campus. Second, in designing a prototype of Wiki Kampus make a data flow diagrams, system infrastructure, and installation. Furthermore, installation of MediaWiki including by several stages: (1) downloading and extracting the file master MediaWiki on a web server, (2) set-up the master files MediaWiki, (3) determine the format page categorizing and customize the user interface, and (4) set up a user account for students. Third, Wiki Kampus tested by some students of Master of Information Technology for Libraries (MTP) at IPB and the results is function well.</p><p>Kajian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) membuat kategori pengetahuan komunitas di perpusatakaan PT, (2) merancang prototipe ensiklopedia daring pengetahuan komunitas di perpustakaan PT, dan (3) melakukan ujicoba prototipe ensiklopedia daring pengetahuan komunitas. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis konten web komunitas di IPB dan pengembangan prototipe Wiki Kampus menggunakan perangkat lunak MediaWiki. Hasil dari kajian ini yaitu kategori pengetahuan yang dibuat terdiri dari pengetahuan utama yakni seputar himpunan mahasiswa, unit kegiatan mahasiswa, komunitas lain, istilah-istilah kampus dan lingkungan sekitar kampus. Hasil perancangan prototipe Wiki Kampus terdiri dari pembuatan <em>data flow diagram</em>, perencanaan infrastruktur sistem dan penginstalasian perangkat lunak MediaWiki. Penginstalasian MediaWiki melalui beberapa tahapan di antaranya: (1) mengunduh dan mengekstraksi file master MediaWiki pada server web, (2) melakukan <em>set-up</em> file master MediaWiki, (3) menentukan format <em>page categorizing</em> dan mengkustomisasi tampilan pengguna, serta (4) menyiapkan <em>user account</em> untuk mahasiswa. Ketiga, ujicoba Wiki Kampus dilakukan oleh beberapa mahasiswa program Magister Teknologi Informasi untuk Perpustakaan (MTP) IPB berjalan lancar dan berfungsi dengan baik.</p>

We report on our NLTE model atmosphere analyses of PG 1159 stars. The results enable us to confine the location of the GWVir instability region in the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram. The analysis of a spectrum of the non-pulsator PG 1520+525 taken with the EUVE satellite in comparison with HST data of the pulsating protoype PG 1159-035 (=GW Vir) locates the blue edge of the instability strip near Teff=140 000 K for stars in the respective luminosity range.

Proof of the logic of OR, AND, NOT, NOR, and NAND gates. The working principle of logic gate prototype is working based on input logic including 0 and 1. For AND logic gates are input multiplication gates consisting of (0,0, 0,1, 1,0, 1,1) and output consists of 1 for high (1) and 3 for low (0). Abstract:
For this decade, nanocomposite has received huge interest from over a thousand of researchers due to its outstanding properties in wide applications. Nanocomposite of sole shoes has become new development in sport shoes application while no interest from others has been reported. The purpose of this study is mainly to produce prototype and characterize flexing mechanism of nanocomposite outsole. The materials used for the outsole protoype were polymer matrix of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) at ratio of 70:30 by wt% was added by 3 wt% of CNT nanofiller. The HDPE/EPR-CNT nanocomposites were prepared via single melt blending by using internal mixer and then compression moulded into outsole shape. The outsole was then gone through electron beam (EB) radiation at 100 kGy/s. The flexibility of unradiated and radiated nanocomposite outsole were tested by flexing test according to SATRA TM161 and ISO-17707 standard and fractography of the nanocomposite outsole was observed visually. EB radiated nanocomposite show high properties which suggesting that greater count number in flexing test and less void was observed compared to the unradiated nanocomposite.

INTISARIKualitas penyampaian informasi pada situs http://sipp-mas.jogjakota.go.id yang digunakan oleh dinas kesehatan pemerintah kota Yogyakarta untuk menyampaikan informasi masih tergolong rendah. Portal ini digunakan untuk masyarakat berupa RT/RW Siaga, Posyandu dan Kawasan Bebas Rokok. Situs ini telah dibangun dan bisa diakses secara terbuka. Meskipun sudah bisa diakses publik, namun menurut evaluasi, situs ini tidak memberikan informasi yang lugas dan jelas. Pengguna juga mengalami kesulitan untuk melakukan navigasi. Penelitian ini mencoba membuktikan hal tersebut dengan melakukan pengujian antarmuka dan pengalaman pengguna, serta membangun rancangan antarmuka sesuai rekomendasi yang diperoleh. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengujian usabilitas Think-Aloud Protocol, expert review dan survei. Hasil penelitian berupa rekomendasi dan rancangan usulan berupa prototype hi-fi menggunakan figma yang telah diuji dan mendapatkan hasil pengujian yang baik. Kata Kunci—dashboard, sistem informasi kesehatan, pengujian antarmuka, hi-fi prototype, think-aloud protocol ABSTRACTInformation representation on http://sipp-mas.jogjakota.go.id website is considered poor. This website is used by Pemerintah Kota Yogyakarta to give public information related health information system such as RT/RW Siaga, Posyandu and Kawasan Bebas Rokok. Visitors cannot comprehend the content and have difficulties navigating the website. This research tried to confirm those problems and gave solutions on how to fix it. Methods used in this research Think-Aloud Protocol, expert review, and survey. Blood pressure is one of the vital sign which widely used as a parameter for medical examination. In some cases likes hypertension, cardiovascular disease or routine examination of pregnant woman, blood pressure test which performed frequently become an important thing. Based on those cases, hence an availability of blood pressure measurement devices will become significant. Thus, in this research, we developed a prototype od digital blood pressure measurement device by using Arduino Uno microcontroller and Android based mobile application. In general, Arduino Uno was equipped with pressure sensorMPX5050DP, those devices will be used for blood pressure measurement. Then the result will be sent and displayed to mobile application. Data transmission between hardware and mobile application was done by using bluetooth module

Abstract:
The influence of the spindle pump, a nonpulsatile blood pump, used as LVAD on calf lung tissue was examined by means of the actual 16th protoype, which was applied in 3 “acute ” tests up to 13 hours of pumping duration and 8 prolonged experiments with pumping periods up to 63 hours. Samples were taken during the operation and after exitus of the test animal and investigated by light and electronmicroscopy. Histological findings of tissue changes could be ascribed to mechanical manipulations and shock-like influences. Regardless of the time of nonpulsatile perfusion this tissue damage remained within an acceptable range, indicating the absence of a deleterious effect of nonpulsatile flow.

Abstract:
In the food processing industry that requires a roasting process using an oven machine, the temperature stability produced by the oven machine greatly affects the output produced. Oven machines that are often used are electric and gas oven machines, the burner control system maximizes the use of gas to fuel the oven engine. This system utilizes input from the DS18B20 temperature sensor which is used to read the temperature in the oven engine. The temperature control of the gas-fired burner control system is carried out by a microcontroller using a fuzzy logic method to control the gas valve in the form of a servo motor to open and close the gas valve automatically. For monitoring and controlling the work of the burner control using Internet of things (IoT) technology by utilizing the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller as a processor and sending data wirelessly to an android smartphone via the BLYNK application which can make it easier for users to get information about actual temperature, setting temperature and timer. By using the fuzzy Sugeno, this system can regulate the gas servo valve with an accuracy rate of 99.93%.

Lima motor digunakan untuk untuk setiap wrna. Setiap motor diaktifkan oleh warna tertentu. Satu motor DC juga digunakan untuk menggerakan conveyor yang digunakan untuk meletakkan benda yang akan diidentifikasi oleh sensor warna. Pada penelitian ini disusun desain mekanik dan elektronik untuk pemilah barang menggunakan sensor warna TCS3200, motor driver dan motor DC. Hal ini dapat digunakan untuk keperluan edukasi untuk proses pembelajaran konsep – konsep dari Big Data. Sarana untuk belajar dan latihan implementasi konsep Big Data yang ingin kami tekankan ini yaitu sebagai tools (alat bantu) untuk mendukung dari perwujudan ekosistem pendidikan yang lebih baik khususnya untuk mikrokontroller dan big data processing. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan cara melaksanakan eksperimen prototipe untuk mendapatkan langkah yang tepat dalam membangun lingkungan Big Data yang sesuai. Selain itu terlibat juga metode perancangan sistem untuk merancang Prototipenya terlebih dahulu. Tahapan dari penelitian yaitu di mulai dari proses studi literatur, kemudian proses rancangan, lalu evaluasi proses rancangan kemudian setelah itu dilakukan proses implementasi hardware dan software. Setelah selesai implementasi hardware dan software dua langkah terakhir yaitu proses analisis performa. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan performa big data cluster yang dibuat dari 5 perangkat raspberry pi dibandingkan dengan satu buah laptop dengan software big data yang sama yaitu hadoop dan spark performa yaitu terdapat perbandingan yang sangat jauh di mana jika di ketika task eksekusi di laptop lebih cepat hingga 8,5 kali di performa HDFS, sedangkan untuk waktu eksekusi CPU lebih singkat hingga 7 kali dibandingkan dengan Protoype ini. Hal ini menunjukkan untuk mendekati performa sesuai dengan standar lab big data, maka dibutuhkan lebih banyak lagi perangkat raspberry pi.

Collecting data using methods Individual Questionnaire and Focus Group Discussion the results obtained attributes required in the design. Results of the research is a common kitchen design for a natural disaster are portable, easily assembled and disassembled, can be set up in various locations condition, easy to operate, able to accommodate facilities and needs. Common kitchen design produced in the form oflarge-scale three-dimensional model, a blueprint for the technical specifications, and the protoype. Indonesia merupakan daerah rawan bencana. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan logistik korban dan petugas diperlukan dapur umum. Dapur umum yang ada umumnya berupa tenda peleton, bangunan yang dijadikan posko, atau mobil yang dimodifikasi. Dapur umum yang ada sifatnya darurat, seadanya dan lokasinya jauh dari lokasi bencana. Dari masalah tersebut perlu desain dapur umum untuk penanggulangan bencana alam, yang bisa memenuhi kebutuhan, baik petugas maupun korban. Dalam mendesain menggunakan metode Pahl dan Beitz dengan langkah-langkah Perencanaan dan penjelasan tugas, Perancangan konsep, Perancangan bentuk, dan Perancangan detail. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode Individual Questionnaire dan Focus Group Discussion yang hasilnya didapatkan atribut yang diperlukan dalam desain. Hasil dari penelitian berupa desain dapur umum untuk penanggulangan bencana alam yang portable, mudah dirakit dan dibongkar, bisa didirikan di lokasi yang beraneka kondisi, mudah dioperasikan, mampu menampung fasilitas dan kebutuhan. For example, to monitor the condition of a room and make it possible to "feel" the conditions in the room even though it is monitored remotely.The method used in this research is Prototype because it is very good for solving misunderstanding problems between users and analysts. Researchers designed and implemented an IoT-based temperature control system for remote feeding and monitoring in aquarium ornamental chefs. This system uses an Android-based smartphone connected to the NodeMcu Microcontroller to send the latest temperature information and provide an early warning if the temperature in the aquarium.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah salah satu pengembangan sistem perangkat lunak yaitu metode protoype , bertujuan untuk percobaan rancangan, dan dalam pengumpulan kebutuhan akan melibatkan pengembang dan pengguna sistem untuk menentukan tujuan, fungsi dan kebutuhan operasional sistem. Abstract:The management of patients with cancer involves the administration of complex treatment protocols with frequent monitoring of the effects of treatment on the malignant disease as well as on the general health of the patient. The number and wide variety of protocols used in treatment trials, and the amount of clinical data generated suggest the need for computer-based support. The toxicity of many of the treatments used and the severity of the disease itself underline the safety-critical nature of all decisions made by oncologists, the physicians and surgeons who treat cancer patients. This paper presents recent work on the analysis of safety issues arising from the design and implementation of a protoype decision-support system for oncologists. It illustrates the benefits of combining both informal and formal approaches to the analysis and representation of safety, firmly based on a thorough and detailed study of the domain in cooperation with oncologists, pharmacists and medical informaticians.

This paper presents a method of piston stroke design optimization for linear compressor to get high efficiency.Two linear compressor prototypes were designed and developed with the same discharge volumes and different piston strokes to compare the performance. The prototypes were operated without air load to measure the friction damping coefficient firstly. Then the prototypes were operated with air load of 0.7MPa discharge pressure. The experimental result shows that the input power of the prototype with longer stroke is lower than that of the prototype with shorter stroke although the discharge volume, the friction damping coefficient and the frequency ratio of these two prototyps are almost the same. The iron and coil loss of the prototype with longer stroke is lower than that with shorter stroke, while the mechanical loss of the prototype with longer stroke is larger than that with shorter stroke. According to the results of the performance analysis, a design optimization model for piston stroke is developed to make the energy loss be the least. Through this design optimization model, acquire the optimal piston stoke of the linear compressor on the same conditions with the experiment. The optimization results agree well with the experimental results.

Pertumbuhan industri penerbangan, baik dalam hal transportasi penumpang dan kargo di industri, telah memperdalam kekhawatiran ini karena pertumbuhan permintaan ini menyiratkan lebih banyak konsumsi bahan bakar. Kunci utama untuk nilai baterai pesawat adalah untuk memberikan daya yang reliabilitasnya bagus dan aman secara sertifikasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental. Sedangkan jenis penelitian ini menggunakan protoype baterai pesawat listrik dengan fluida kerja Air dan Etilen Glikol 50%, dialirkan oleh pompa dari tank 1 ke arah minichannel temperaturnya 20-25 °C, baterai temperaturnya 70-80 °C, fluida kerja dari minichannel akan dialirkan ke tank 2 debit 0,006-0,007 m3/s. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan fluida kerja Etilen Glikol 50% lebih baik daripada Air dari segi pressure drop dikarenakan faktor densitas. Sedangkan untuk, Reynolds Number, Nusselt Number, Heat Transfer Convection yang didapatkan fluida kerja Air lebih baik dibandingkan dengan Etilen Glikol 50% dikarenakan faktor specific heat capacity dan kecepatan aliran fluida kerja.

The transforming growth factor β (TGFβ) cytokines are a multi-functional family that exert a wide variety of effects on both normal and transformed mammalian cells. The secretion and activation of TGFβs is regulated by their association with latency-associated proteins and latent TGFβ binding proteins (LTBPs). Over the past few years, three members of the LTBP family have been identified, in addition to the protoype LTBP1 first sequenced in 1990. Three of the LTBP family are expressed in a variety of isoforms as a consequence of alternative splicing. This review summarizes the differences between the isoforms in terms of the effects on domain structure and hence possible function. The close identity between LTBPs and members of the fibrillin family, mutations in which have been linked directly to Marfan's syndrome, suggests that anomalous expression of LTBPs may be associated with disease. Recent data indicating that differential expression of LTBP1 isoforms occurs during the development of coronary heart disease is considered, together with evidence that modulation of LTBP function, and hence of TGFβ activity, is associated with a variety of cancers.

Sedangkan jenis penelitian ini menggunakan protoype baterai pesawat listrik yang dimana fluida kerja akan diukur temperatur nya dengan thermocouple 1 (T1) dan dialirkan oleh pompa dari tank 1 ke arah minichannel yang berada di battery pack. Untuk baterainya akan diukur temperatur nya oleh thermocouple 2 (T2), thermocouple 3 (T3), dan thermocouple 4 (T4) lalu fluida kerja dari minichannel akan dialirkan ke tank 2 dimana akan diukur temperatur nya menggunakan thermocouple 5 (T5). Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan fluida kerja 75% Etilen Glikol – 25 % Air lebih baik daripada 75% Air – 25% Etilen Glikol dari segi pressure drop, nilai temperatur, dan heat transfer convection nya itu sendiri. Sedangkan untuk kecepatan aliran fluida kerja dan Reynolds Number yang didapatkan lebih baik fluida kerja 75% Etilen Glikol – 25% Air dibandingkan dengan 75% Air – 25% Etilen Glikol

Agenda kegiatan pertama adalah manajemen bimbingan pelatihan olahraga. Kedua adalah manajemen administrasi yang meliputi pendataan perserta baru, pembuatan jadwal pelatihan, absensi peserta pelatihan dan pembagian kelas pelatihan. Dalam menjalankan kegiatan tersebut masih menggunakan manajemen tradisional seperti bimbingan tertulis dan pencatatan kehadiran peserta latihan dengan cara manual yang dilakukan oleh pelatih olahraga yaitu berupa catatan pada kertas. Cara tersebut memiliki kekurangan seperti catatan mudah hilang, begitu juga pada manajemen administrasi yang dikerjakan oleh staff pengurus yayasan masih memiliki kekurangan seperti tidak dapat diakses dari mana saja dan tidak dapat digunakan pada sistem operasi yang berbeda karena masih menggunakan luring spreadsheet. Oleh karena itu manajemen bimbingan pelatihan olahraga dan administrasi pada borneo sports science perlu ditingkatkan. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mengembangkan sistem berbasis website dengan metode protoype yang dapat diakses dari mana saja dan karena terhubung dengan internet artinya dapat digunakan pada sistem operasi apapun dan catatan bimbingan maupun kehadiran tersimpan pada sistem. The purpose of this research is to produce a prototype of teacher’s book and student’s book, that is valid, practical, and effective to facilitate students scientific creativity. This research is conducted through three phases, namely define, design, and develop. Those prototypes are try out in VII grade SMPN 30 Surabaya academic year 2014/2015 with one-group pretest-posttest design. Data are colleted using observation method, tests, and questionnaires. Data are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that 1) the prototype of teacher’s and student’s book are categorized valid; 2) Learning using the prototipe of teacher’s book looked at from the implementation of learning package categorized as practice and students activity in line with the steps of discovery learning; 3) The effectiveness of learning of the prototype of teacher’s book viewed from the increattement of student’s scientific creativity score according to paired sample pretest and posttest in significant < 0,05. Students response to learning package and the implementation is very positive. It can be concluded that the prototipe of teacher’s book and students book is valid, practice and effective to train students scientific creativity. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Prototipe Buku Guru dan buku siswa yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan kreativitas ilmiah siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan tiga tahap dari model 4-D (Four-D Model), yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop) dan diujicobakan di kelas VII SMPN 30 Surabaya semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015 dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) Prototipe Buku Guru dan buku siswa yang dikembangkan berkategori valid; 2) Pembelajaran menggunakan Prototipe Buku Guru ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori praktis dan aktivitas siswa sesuai dengan tahap-tahap pada model penemuan terbimbing; dan 3) Keefektivan Prototipe Buku Guru pembelajaran ditinjau dari: Peningkatan kreativitas ilmiah siswa terlihat dari signifikansi menggunakan uji Paired Sample Test pretest dan posttest sig < 0.05 dan respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sangat positif. Few-Shot Learning (FSL) is a challenging task, i.e., how to recognize novel classes with few examples? Pre-training based methods effectively tackle the problem by pre-training a feature extractor and then predicting novel classes via a cosine nearest neighbor classifier with mean-based prototypes. Nevertheless, due to the data scarcity, the mean-based prototypes are usually biased. In this paper, we attempt to diminish the prototype bias by regarding it as a prototype optimization problem. To this end, we propose a novel meta-learning based prototype optimization framework to rectify prototypes, i.e., introducing a meta-optimizer to optimize prototypes. Although the existing meta-optimizers can also be adapted to our framework, they all overlook a crucial gradient bias issue, i.e., the mean-based gradient estimation is also biased on sparse data. To address the issue, we regard the gradient and its flow as meta-knowledge and then propose a novel Neural Ordinary Differential Equation (ODE)-based meta-optimizer to polish prototypes, called MetaNODE. In this meta-optimizer, we first view the mean-based prototypes as initial prototypes, and then model the process of prototype optimization as continuous-time dynamics specified by a Neural ODE. A gradient flow inference network is carefully designed to learn to estimate the continuous gradient flow for prototype dynamics. Finally, the optimal prototypes can be obtained by solving the Neural ODE. Extensive experiments on miniImagenet, tieredImagenet, and CUB-200-2011 show the effectiveness of our method.

Nowadays, large volumes of training data are available from various data sources and streaming environments. Instance-based classifiers perform adequately when they use only a small subset of such datasets. Larger data volumes introduce high computational cost that prohibits the timely execution of the classification process. Conventional prototype selection and generation algorithms are also inappropriate for data streams and large datasets. In the past, we proposed prototype generation algorithms that maintain a dynamic set of prototypes and are appropriate for such types of data. Dynamic because existing prototypes may be updated, or new prototypes may be appended to the set of prototypes in the course of processing. Still, repetitive generation of new prototypes may result to forming unpredictably large sets of prototypes. In this paper, we propose a new variation of our algorithm that maintains the prototypes in a convenient and manageable way. This is achieved by removing the weakest prototype when a new prototype is generated. The new algorithm has been tested on several datasets. The experimental results reveal that it is as accurate as its predecessor, yet it is more efficient and noise tolerant.

In order to accumulate preliminary data of mechanical characteristics of the fast switch, and to verify whether the design parameter requirements are met. This paper selects three prototypes and three engineering prototypes respectively, collects and analyzes mechanical characteristics of three engineering machines before and after the prototype test, the life prototype before and after the life test, the capacity prototype before and after the capacity test. It is proved that the opening and closing time of quick-switch prototype and engineering prototype meet design requirements. Data results measured by all parties are in good agreement. Among three prototypes, the maximum phase difference between fast switch opening time, opening speed, closing time, and closing speed is only 10.7%, 6.7%, 8.8%, and 9.5%. In three-phase engineering prototype, the maximum inter-phase difference of fast switch opening time, opening speed, closing time, and closing speed is only 8.3%, 4.9%, 3.5%, and 7.8%.

Prototypes are defined as the image a person holds of the typical person who engages in risk behavior and are comprised of favorability toward the prototype and similarity to the prototype. Despite both being posited as important prototype dimensions, the findings regarding their predictive utility are mixed, and most research has focused on alcohol use and not other related risk behaviors. Thus, the present study examined whether both prototype dimensions (prototype favorability, prototype similarity) as well as their interaction predicted alcohol and alcohol-related sexual cognitions and behavior. Results from 294 emerging adults indicated that prototype similarity (but not prototype favorability or their interaction) predicted both behavioral and cognitive outcomes. Results suggest that researchers utilizing prototypes should be mindful of which prototype dimensions they include in their guiding theory and subsequent clinical applications.

Abstract:
Introduction. Type 1 diabetes is a protoype of disease with an intesive oxidative stress. The oxidative stress means disturbing dynamic balance between prooxidants and antioxidants, either due to the increased production of the oxygen free radicals or the decreased antioxidant activity. The antioxidative enzyme catalase diminishes free radical hydrogen-peroxyde, which can be very toxic to pancreatic cells. Material and methods. Our study included 40 children with type 1 diabetes. We analyzed the activity of enzyme catalase in lymphocytes in different phases of disease: at the beginning of diabetes, in remission period and in the later chronic course. Results There is a significant increase in the catalase activity during all phases of disease (p<0.00001) compared with the control group. The highest catalase activity occurs in the early course of disease (p<0.05) followed by a linear decrease and the lowest activity in chronic course. If metabolic control gets worse, the catalase activity gets higher with statistic significance at p<0.05. A higher residual beta cells secretion is associated with a lower catalase activity. Therefore, the catalase activity is in direct corelation with GHbA1 (r=0.895), and inverse correlation with C-peptide (r=-0.945). Discussion and conclusion. A significant increase in the catalase activity in all phases of type 1 diabetes indirectly confirms the importance of the oxidative stress in pathogenesis of disease. The activation of catalase is probably the secundary phenomenon. The fact that the catalase activity reaches its highest values at the beginning of diabetes could implicate the predictive value of catalase determination.

When the DHT 22 sensor reads the temperature state, it will send data to Blynk. The Soil Moisture sensor reads the humidity in the hydroponic plant, it will be displayed on the blynk, if it is dry it will turn on the relay and activate the water pump. In the sequel, we shall be concerned with the automated induction of prototypes to represent a database in a way that combines transparency and accuracy. More precisely, our aim is to automatically summarize the information from a set of data using prototypes and simultaneously decide on the number of prototypes needed to the represent the data adequately. We propose to use fuzzy prototypes, which correspond to groupings of similar objects represented by tuples of fuzzy sets over attribute universes. In the case of numerical attributes, the universes will be discretized using linguistic variables and the attribute values will be described by fuzzy sets on words. To learn the prototypes, we shall present an algorithm inspired by hierarchical clustering techniques, which makes use of new measures of prototype similarity and of prototype addition. Also, a pruning algorithm will be incorporated which uses a new heuristic measure of prototype quality to fuse overly specific prototypes. The potential of the resulting method will be illustrated by its application to a number of classification problems and comparing its performance with that of previous approaches in the literature.
