Abstract:
The Master’s thesis deals with the approaches to the introduction of the principles of lean manufacturing and especially the concept of Just in Time (JIT). It is structurally divided into theoretical and practical part. While the theoretical part focuses on the theory of lean manufacturing and the details about steam turbines, the practical part gradually deals with the introduction of the company, production portfolio, supplier analysis and especially the production process. The practical part ends with the selection of proposals for changes in the production concept, including partial economic evaluations with regard to customer requirements to meet delivery dates, quality and required costs.

Abstract:
The diploma thesis presents technology production design of a data projector bracket made of 2 mm thickness 11 321 steel plate. Considering the large production quantity and maximum tolerable deviations, a progressive die tool along with cutting and bending was chosen as the optimal solution for this type of production, based on a variant solution. Technological aspects were assessed, the production process was established, and technological and control calculations were performed. According to the total forming force of 2 000 kN, the LDC 250 mechanical press with a nominal force of 2 500 kN, manufactured in Šmeral Brno a.s., was chosen to meet the production requirements. The chosen material in a form of metal sheet coils will be supplied to the machine by a feeding device. The article will be manufactured in six steps. Based on technical-economic evaluation, the final price of a single piece in a series of 250 000 pieces per year was set at 30,80 Kč.

The goal of this diploma thesis is to use the principles of lean manufacturing to lean workplace and eliminate all forms of waste in this workplace. A part of this work is opti-mal design of the workplace in terms of ergonomics which should have a positive effect on shortening lead time and process cycle efficiency. Shortening the lead time will allow company to respond more quickly to customer requirements and this effect may subsequently lead to the drop in inventories.

This diploma thesis deals with a topic of project management. The first part is focused on a research behind the theory of project management. In the second part, an analysis of the current state of project management in a selected company producing machine tools is performed first. Then it is followed by a proposal to change the process. In the last part, the individual proposals are then analysed and shown on a real project. These proposals could lead to improvements in productivity and product after implementation.

The target of this master thesis is specify the requirements, which come up while summing the investment aim of a new 40MW energetic unit, and show the overall project management. Thesis is divided into two parts. First part deals with project management from the investors point of view. There is also detailed concept study, technological description of piston co-generation units and combined cycle, concept design of calculated variations and their economical analysis. Second part is taken from the point of view of the main supplier. There is defined the range of operations, documents and official permissions needed for successful finish of the civil part of the energetic unit project.

The goal of the graduation theses is to describe project management and taking advantage of management accounting as a support for this specific management. There is a significant difference between classic approach and project approach. We try to find and launch new way into the current state intuitively or to extend activities in classic approach, project approach demand clear and intelligible definition of the alternation. Advanced project management should be accustomed to complex definition of the customer need and at the same time with the cost reduction tool in production phase. Flexible planning, continuous monitoring and subsequent interpretation of particular phases of the project management is needed. Managerial accounting is able to come through with wide scale of specific tools which help and allow effectively react on daily basis, monitor development and subsequently interpret the project results. The graduation theses devotes calculation system and the usage of particular calculations in custom manufacturing. Business planning and budgeting is not omitted in connection with calculation system and project management. Extra attention is put on valuation options of semifinished contract or finished contract.

The topic of this diploma thesis is design of new production hall in the cadastral area of city Hrusinec. The building is located in an existing industrial area. The building consists of two adjacent structures. The higher of them is single-story production hall and the lower is three-story high office building. In horizontal plane the buildings have rectangular shape. Hall part is designed as a steel structure on foundation blocks. Roof is supported by truss girders. Office building is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton also on foundation blocks. The flat roof of the office building is a single-layer with typical composition. Functionally, the building is designed as a single unit. The total employee capacity is approximately 54 workers.

It defines the basic principles and concepts of project management within product validation, specifies the principles in the corporate environment of ATEK s.r.o. Part of the thesis is the creation of a validation plan and a schedule of labory tests for the selected product from the BMW AG G20 project. The work defines the conditions and the execution of selected tests, eg the climate change test according to the BMW standard PR303.5. The tests are then evaluated. The subject of the thesis is to assess whether the company MBB Technik Ltd. use some management tools, namely the management of overhead costs with budgets and calculation of variable costs. If so, whether it is beneficial for the manager, or whether it has got just purely administrative character. At first I described the different types of accounting, which we might find in the practice, and then I focused on management, where I defined the different types of costs and ways to control costs, which we might find in company. Specifically I also pay attention to management of overhead costs and calculation of variable costs. Eventually I worked out in detail what kind of budgets the company MBB Technik Ltd. used, properly I described them and I showed them how much managers are interested in budgets.

This master’s thesis contains selected parts of construction-technological project of completion for a manufacturing hall in Drnovice. Based on the documentation used, the focus is aimed mainly at the technological report for the project and its coordination with broader relations of transport routes. Beside these topics, we discuss time and financial plans of the construction, equipment on the construction site, a proposal of main building machinery and mechanisms and the time plan of the main construction project. In first theoretical part of the thesis is this subject described in detail and analyzed in terms of economic and technical aspect. The theoretical part is included research issues relating to the manufacture, production processes and their associated characteristics. The practical part describes the characteristics of a social organization, the analysis of manufacturing processes aimed at product realization, production planning, resource management, preparation and production management and quality policy, including an analysis of the produced object. On the basis of these analyzes were set out proposals for a more effective management of the company and improve the functioning of the company in the long run.

Abstract:
Scope of this diploma work is layout proposal for joinery workshop including store for its products and materials. Building design has been done in two variants. Chosen variant has been finished into documentation required for issue of building permission. Attention is paid to dimensions and location of manufacturing areas, sanitary facilities and salesroom so that all regulations are accomplished, accessibility and manipulation with material are optimized. Building is drawn up for real estate in area of Ledenice town, which is according to development plan allocated to industrial areas. In diploma work are mentioned all important requirements, which have to be kept during project planning, requirements for documentation and also are discussed particular activities prior to construction itself.
