Abstract:
Education at Malaysian institutes of higher education must be accredited by responsible bodies such as Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA) and Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) to ensure graduates' marketability is guaranteed. Therefore, ETAC asked the program to explain the process for periodic review and review of the Program Educational Objectives (PEO) to determine the extent to which industry is involved in the careers of the graduates who are working with them. There are two objectives to be achieved which are to identify the alumni's perception of the achievement of the Program Educational Objectives (PEO) and to determine the level of achievement of each PEO that has been achieved by the alumni. The target for this study is a total of 35 graduates who followed the Building Services Engineering Diploma program at Kuching Sarawak Polytechnic who have graduated for 5 years. The questionnaire is Google Forms and has been emailed to the graduates involved to be completed. The results of the study found that the students' perception of all PEO programs is very good with an achievement score of 90 and above. Where the level of achievement of PEO 2 which is to be a leader or team member to support their role in the industry is the highest among the four PEOs.

Abstract:
Software restructuring is recognized as a promising method to improve logical structure and understandability of a software system which is composed of modules with loosely-coupled elements. In this paper, we present methods of restructuring an ill-structured module at the software maintenance phase. The methods identify modules performing multiple functions and restructure such modules. For identifying the multi-function modules, the notion of the tightly-coupled module that performs a single specific function is formalized. This method utilizes information on data and control dependence, and applies program slicing to carry out the task of extracting the tightly-coupled modules from the multi-function module. The identified multi-function module is restructured into a number of functional strength modules or an informational strength module. The module strength is used as a criterion to decide how to restructure. The proposed methods can be readily automated and incorporated in a software tool.

This article reflects on the Brazilian educational and scientific diplomacy programs, Program for Partner Undergraduate Students (Programa de Estudantes-Convênio de Graduação – PEC-G) and Program for Partner Graduate Students (Programa de Estudantes-Convênio de Pós-Graduação – PEC-PG). The first section stands on documental analyses to fund the claim that the program was designed and functions as a soft power tool. In the suit, the article moves on to quantitative analysis aiming to explore the effects of the programs on the recipients’ image of Brazil. Although the country’s image has suffered due to the political and economic crises, the recipients of the programs reported a less negative image of the country than their peers who were not part of the program.

Abstract:
Due to their quantitative nature, probabilistic programs pose non-trivial challenges for designing compositional and efficient program analyses. Many analyses for probabilistic programs rely on iterative approximation. This article presents an interprocedural dataflow-analysis framework, called NPA-PMA, for designing and implementing (partially) non-iterative program analyses of probabilistic programs with unstructured control-flow, nondeterminism, and general recursion. NPA-PMA is based on Newtonian Program Analysis (NPA), a generalization of Newton's method to solve equation systems over semirings. The key challenge for developing NPA-PMA is to handle multiple kinds of confluences in both the algebraic structures that specify analyses and the equation systems that encode control flow: semirings support a single confluence operation, whereas NPA-PMA involves three confluence operations (conditional, probabilistic, and nondeterministic). Our work introduces ω-continuous pre-Markov algebras (ωPMAs) to factor out common parts of different analyses; adopts regular infinite-tree expressions to encode probabilistic programs with unstructured control-flow; and presents a linearization method that makes Newton's method applicable to the setting of regular-infinite-tree equations over ωPMAs. NPA-PMA allows analyses to supply a non-iterative strategy to solve linearized equations. Our experimental evaluation demonstrates that (i) NPA-PMA holds considerable promise for outperforming Kleene iteration, and (ii) provides great generality for designing program analyses.

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to evaluate selected parametres of reproduction in sows in the first litter and piglets loss from birth to weaning after repopulation in a production sow herd. Observed parametres were evaluated in two commercial programs. An experimental group consisted of 80 gilts (40 in commercial program A and 40 in commercial programm B). Gained values of the total number of piglets per litter were 16.23 ± 2.26 from gilts in the program A and 15.63 ± 2.13 from gilts in the program B. Evaluation of live-born piglets per litter showed numbers of 14.74 ± 2.09 in the program A and 14.50 ± 2.10 in the program B. Numbers of stillborn piglets per litter were 1.48 ± 1.30 for gilts in the program A against 1.13 ± 1.42 for gilts in the program B and numbers of reared piglets per litter were 13.20 ± 1.52 in the program A against 13.68 ± 2.00 in the program B. Statistical evaluation confirmed no significant differences between the two commertial programs in the selected reproductive parametres. Piglet losses from birth to weaning were also evaluated. In the program A 1.55 ± 1.48 piglets were lost per a gilt against 0.83 ± 1.39 in the program B. The percentage of piglet loss was 9.55 ± 9.04 in the program A and 5.28 ± 8.67 in the program B. The statisticaly significant difference (P ≤ 0.05) was proved between the two commercial programs. The values found by the experiment in both programs can be considered very competitive therefore recovery by the means of repopulation and induction of SPF herds can be recommended.

Abstract:
Gubitak sluha i tinitus svakodnevno u znatnoj mjeri otežavaju govornu komunikaciju pogođenim osobama.

Abstract The POM designation provides gerontology programs with an AGHE “stamp of approval,” which can be used to verify program quality to administrators, to lobby for additional resources to maintain a quality program, to market the program, and to recruit prospective students into the program. This worldwide process of evaluation for both Gerontology programs verifies for students that the program is consistent with globally vetted criteria in gerontology endorsed and recognized by AGHE; assures the public of the quality of programs and their graduates; clarifies for employers the knowledge and skills imparted to students who graduate from POM designated gerontology programs; informs campus administrators of global guidelines, expectations, and practice in gerontology education programs; and indicates to interested students that the program is of high quality. Those interested in the Gerontology Program of Merit will be able to ask questions, understand the application process, and ask for technical assistance.

Abstract:
This paper presents an algebraic theory of instruction sequences with instructions for a random access machine (RAM) as basic instructions, the behaviours produced by the instruction sequences concerned under execution, and the interaction between such behaviours and RAM memories. This theory provides a setting for the development of theory in areas such as computational complexity and analysis of algorithms that distinguishes itself by offering the possibility of equational reasoning to establish whether an instruction sequence computes a given function and being more general than the setting provided by any known version of the RAM model of computation. In this setting, a semi-realistic version of the RAM model of computation and a bit-oriented time complexity measure for this version are introduced. Under the time measure concerned, semi-realistic RAMs can be simulated by multi-tape Turing machines with quadratic time overhead.

Abstract:
Probabilistic incremental program evolution (PIPE) is a novel technique for automatic program synthesis. We combine probability vector coding of program instructions, population-based incremental learning, and tree-coded programs like those used in some variants of genetic programming (GP). PIPE iteratively generates successive populations of functional programs according to an adaptive probability distribution over all possible programs. Each iteration, it uses the best program to refine the distribution. Thus, it stochastically generates better and better programs. Since distribution refinements depend only on the best program of the current population, PIPE can evaluate program populations efficiently when the goal is to discover a program with minimal runtime. We compare PIPE to GP on a function regression problem and the 6-bit parity problem. We also use PIPE to solve tasks in partially observable mazes, where the best programs have minimal runtime.

Abstract:
Many programs shown effective in single trials are never adopted or successfully implemented in other sites. While the health education literature does include descriptions of efforts to diffuse research, programs, curricula, and workplace policies and examples of instruments for measuring aspects of the diffusion process, it does not include an overview of program diffusion principles and practices. The purpose of this article is to provide program planners with research and practice based insights into the program diffusion process. After identifying and defining key program diffusion terms, discussing diffusion’s theoretical bases, and arguing for more pro-active program replication among health educators, the author discusses program diffusion options (dissemination and/or replication), presents existing criteria for identifying model programs, puts forward typical reasons why program replication fails, and suggests specific strategies for increasing the likelihood of successful program replication. The paper ends with a call to plan programs with replication in mind.

Abstract:
This study examines loyalty programs in Malaysia in terms of perceived equity, value, program satisfaction, program trust, and store loyalty. A total of 400 questionnaires were collected from cardholders in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The hypotheses were based on social exchange and equity theories. The structural equation model that assessed the relationship between the proposed variables was tested using AMOS 6.0. The findings revealed that perceived equity and perceived value of the loyalty program significantly influence program satisfaction and trust. Program trust was the most important predictor of store loyalty. Limitations of the study and recommendations for future research are discussed.

Abstract:
A program evaluation is a systematic method for collecting, analyzing, and using information to answer questions about projects, policies and programs, particularly about their effectiveness and efficiency. The goal is to improve programs. A program evaluation is a part of all training programs. A Charge Nurse Training Program was conducted in the NICU of Security Forces Hospital as it was evident that the charge nurse role needed to be supported better with clear expectations and a standardized professional development training. The sample for the study was forty-two registered nurses who underwent the adapted evidence-based ADDIE model training program. The simple random sampling technique was used to select the sample. Only registered nurse 1’s were included in the study and exclusion criteria were those registered nurse 1’s who had less than one year of experience in NICU. Structured teaching modules and practical sections were conducted for all the sample. Data was collected using a pre-test followed by a post-test of each module to assess the knowledge level of the samples, a Likert scale to assess the confidence level, an observation (practice) checklist to assess the skills level and a final evaluation through surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. The program evaluation showed that, the adapted ADDIE model of a Charge Nurse Training Program was effective and that it boosted staff confidence, created a healthy working environment and increased the knowledge, skills of the nursing staff in order for them to perform their core responsibilities.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Programa de Educación Sobre la Obesidad (PESO) was a targeted intervention which intended to raise awareness about the obesity epidemic, reduce the proportion of overweight and obese adults, and promote the consumption of fruits and vegetables within the Hispanic community of Seminole County, Florida. It was funded through the Florida Department of Health statewide Hispanic Obesity and Prevention Program. The PESO program utilized a multidisciplinary design to implement and evaluate a nutrition education and obesity reduction program. The 4-month program was a collaborative effort of the Seminole County Health Department, University of Central Florida, and Iglesia Vida Nueva church in Seminole County. We used a social marketing framework to deliver the curriculum and structure some of the lessons. In addition, we utilized this framework to critique, redesign, and make recommendations for future programs.

Abstract:
Abstract In 2015, the Program of Merit was expanded and adapted to implement a voluntary evaluation process for health professions programs that are choosing to integrate gerontology/geriatrics competencies in order to prepare students for working with older adults as well as their informal care partners. These programs are now eligible to apply for the Program of Merit designation. The Program of Merit for Health Professions Programs is based on the AGHE Standards and Guidelines for Gerontology/ Geriatrics in Higher Education, Sixth Edition (2015), specifically Chapters 11 and 12. This session will provide the information and support systems in place for health professions programs to be recognized with the AGHE Program of Merit designation.
