Hasil penelitian, (1) Tidak adanya hubungan antara profitabilitas dengan pengalaman enterpreneur mengelola usaha kecil, karena pengalaman tidak meningkatkan kompetensi inovasi seorang enterpreneur. (2) Hasi memenujukan konsistensi hubungan antara size atau skala usaha dengan profitabilitas. (3) Diketahui nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,903 > 0,05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa KUR Mikro tidak berpengaruh terhadap Profitabilitas UMKM di Kabupaten Parigi Moutong. (4) Diketahui nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,039 < 0,05 sehinga disimpulkan bahwa KUR Ritel berpengaruh terhadap Profitabilitas UMKM di Kabupaten Parigi Moutong. Abstract:

The research is motivated by the level of profitability which is a benchmark for Islamic banks in generating profits which is still not stable and tends to decrease every year. The factors that can affect the level of profitability of Islamic banks are Third Party Funds (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Net Operating Margin (NOM), and Operating Expenses for Operating Income ( BOPO). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the variables TPF, CAR, NPF, FDR, NOM, and BOPO on the profitability of BRI Syariah Bank and to find out which variables had the most significant effect on the profitability of BRI Syariah Bank. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the quarterly financial statements of BRI Syariah Bank for the period 2012 to 2020. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression consisting of multicollinearity test, multiple regression analysis, simultaneous test, partial test, and classical assumption test of residuals. The test results show that NPF, CAR, NPF, FDR, and NOM have a significant effect on the profitability of BRI Syariah Bank

Abstract The objectives of this study are (1). (2) Analyzing the influence of firm size on profitability, (3) Analyzing the effect of capital structure on profitability, (4) Analyzing the role of capital structure variables in influencing the influence of firm size on profitability. The population in this study were all manufacturing companies in the Cosmetics and Household Purposes Sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The total population in this study is 6 manufacturing companies in the cosmetics sector and household needs. Based on predetermined criteria, the number of samples is 3 companies, so the data analyzed is panel data with a total of 18 observations. Data analysis techniques use the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. PLS is a model of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on components or variants. PLS is a powerful analytical method because it is not based on many assumptions. The results of analysis and hypothesis testing indicate; The first hypothesis states that there is a significant positive effect on firm size on capital structure. The results of the analysis found that the size of the company had no significant positive effect on the capital structure so that the first hypothesis was not acceptable. The second hypothesis states that there is a significant positive effect on firm size on profitability. The results of the analysis found that the size of the company had no significant positive effect on profitability so that the second hypothesis was not acceptable. The third hypothesis which states there is a significant positive effect of capital structure on profitability. The results of the analysis found that the capital structure had a significant positive effect on profitability so that the third hypothesis could be accepted. In testing with the Sobel test it was found that the capital structure has not been tested as an intervening variable on the effect of firm size on profitability in the Cosmetics and Household Utilities manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Menganalisis pengaruh ukuran perusahaan terhadap struktur modal, (2)Menganalisis pengaruh ukuran perusahaan terhadap profitabilitas, (3) Menganalisis pengaruh struktur modal terhadap profitabilitas,(4)Menganalisis peran variabel struktur modal dalam mengintervening pengaruh ukuran perusahaan terhadap profitabilitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan manufaktur Sektor Kosmetik dan Keperluan Rumah Tangga yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Adapun jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 6 perusahaan manufaktur sektor kosmetik dan keperluan rumah tangga. Berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan maka jumlah sampel sebanyak 3 perusahaan, sehingga data yang dianalisis merupakan data panel dengan jumlah observasi sebanyak 18. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS). PLS adalah model persamaan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) yang berbasis komponen atau varian. PLS merupakan metode analisis yang powerfull karena tidak didasarkan pada banyak asumsi.Hasil analisis dan pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan; Hipotesis pertama yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh signifikan positif ukuran perusahaan terhadap struktur modal . Hasil analisis menemukan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh tidak signifikan positif terhadap struktur modal sehingga hipotesis pertama tidak dapat diterima. Hipotesis kedua yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh signifikan positif ukuran perusahaan terhadap profitabilitas . Hasil analisis menemukan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh tidak signifikan positif terhadap profitabilitas sehingga hipotesis kedua tidak dapat diterima. Hipotesis ketiga yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh signifikan positif struktur modal terhadap profitabilitas . Hasil analisis menemukan struktur modal berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap profitabilitas sehingga hipotesis ketiga dapat diterima. While a time-based segmentation approach to customer segmentation for new products allows firms to identify consumers in the innovator and early adopter segments, this study adds a profitability-based perspective to generate new insights. Using six years of data on the adoption of technology services over three generations from a large technology manufacturer–service provider across seven countries, the authors provide empirical evidence that the short-term and long-term profitability per period of clients in the early majority segment is the highest, followed by the late majority, the innovators, the early adopters, and the laggards, respectively. While a time-based segmentation approach enables firms to identify consumers who are likely to adopt new products sooner than others, a profitability-based perspective can complement their targeting strategy and enhance overall profits. Managers can make informed decisions on investments required to develop new markets with better estimates of the profitability of consumers from later segments. Our study offers managers the necessary insights to develop a road map for identifying and targeting the most profitable clients.

Abstract:

A variety of policy types are available to foster the transition to a low-carbon economy. In every sector, including transportation, heat and power production, policymakers face the choice of what type of policy to adopt. For this choice, it is crucial to understand how different mechanisms incentivize investments in terms of improving their profitability, shaping the flexibility available for investors, and how they are affected by the surrounding uncertainty. This paper focuses on transportation-biofuel policies, particularly on the financial incentives put on the bio-component of fuel and the combination of using penalties and tax-relief. Delivery of vital policymaking insights by using two modern simple-to-use profitability analysis methods, the pay-off method and the simulation decomposition method, is illustrated. Both methods enable the incorporation of uncertainty into the profitability analyses, and thus generate insight about the flexibilities involved, and the factors affecting the results. The results show that the combination of penalties and tax-relief is a way to steer fuel-production towards sustainability. The two methods used for analysis complement each other and provide important insights for analysis and decision-making beyond what the commonly used profitability analysis methods typically provide.

The article analyzes the profitability of technical analysis methods for the seven stock indices during the last ten years. According to the analysis, the profitability of technical analysis has increased recently due to changes in market conditions. However, the efficiency of technical analysis methods was much lower during 2010-2018. The analysis showed that technical analysis methods demonstrated best results on the Chinese, Indian, and Hong Kong stock indices, the worst – on the American, European, and Japanese stock indices. However, the stability of these methods is quite low: their profitability varies greatly with the change of the sample. The issue of aggregation of technical analysis signals and ARIMA-model signals is also considered in this paper. The optimal parameters for the technical analysis methods were selected by testing on historical data; optimal ARIMA models were selected for each index. For 3 out of 7 indices the optimal model is WN (white noise). Most technical analysis methods showed poor results on the American (S&P 500) and European (Euronext 100) stock indices (except for the last two years). ABSTRACT Mean reversion in profitability and growth is a well-documented phenomenon; however, comparatively less is known about the level of analysis that best captures mean reversion. In this study, we find that analyzing firms by life cycle stage improves the out-of-sample accuracy of profitability and growth forecasts over analyzing firms pooled across the economy and analyzing firms by industry. The improved accuracy is robust to both short-term and long-term forecasts of profitability and growth. We also find that the improvement in accuracy of forecasts from life cycle analyses is greatest for firms in the introduction and decline stages and for firms with greater uncertainty. Finally, we examine market participants' use of life cycle information in forming expectations. We find inefficient use of life cycle information in analyst forecasts, but not in management forecasts. We also find that life cycle forecasts are associated with year-ahead abnormal stock returns.

The framework of thinking in this study is that every company in running its business must have the ability to bring profit (profitability) optimally. By maximizing profits in accordance with targets set by management, companies can do much for the welfare of owners, employees, and improve product quality and make new investments, one that affects profitability is the cost of promotion and labor costs.Data collection method is done by analyzing financial statements related to profitability, promotion cost and labor cost period 2011 to 2015. Data analysis model used is multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing simultaneously or partially done by using software eviews 7. The results showed that the influence of promotion costs and labor costs simultaneously to the level of profitability, it is known that Then R-Square value of 0.677358 indicates that the proportion of influence of Promotion Cost (X1) and Labor Cost (X2) to Profitability (ROA) of Bank Syariah Mandiri of 67.73%, while the rest of 32.27% influenced other factors not examined in this discussion. Model analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi liner berganda. Pengujian hipotesis secara simultan maupun parsial dilakukan dengan menggunakan sofware eviews 7. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaruh biaya promosi serta biaya tenaga kerja secara simultan terhadap tingkat profitabilitas, diketahui bahwa Kemudian Nilai R-Square sebesar 0.677358 menunjukkan bahwa proporsi pengaruh variabel Biaya Promosi (X1) dan Biaya Tenaga Kerja (X2) terhadap Profitabilitas (ROA) Bank Syariah Mandiri sebesar 67,73%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 32,27% dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam pembahasan ini.

Abstract:

The study expects to further exploring the role of asset structure in enterprise profitability, and analyze the relationship between them in detail. Taking the express industry as the research object, from strategic management accounting, the study uses edge computing and related analysis tools and compares the financial and non-financial indicators of existing express enterprises. The study also discusses the differences between asset structure allocation and sustainable profitability, and constructs the corresponding analysis framework. The results reveal that SF’s total assets are obviously large and the profit margin increases. While the total assets of other express enterprises are small, and the express revenue drops sharply. Heavy assets can improve the enterprises’ profitability to a certain extent. SF has a good asset management ability. With the support of the capital market, SF’s net asset growth ability has been greatly improved. The edge computing method used has higher local data processing ability, and the analysis framework has higher performance than the big data processing method. The study can provide some research ideas and practical value for the asset structure analysis and profitability evaluation of express enterprises.

Subject. The article discusses the key profitability metrics of the largest public companies in the oil and gas (O&G) industry from 2006 to 2018. The analysis encompasses ExxonMobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Occidental Petroleum, Devon Energy, Anadarko Petroleum, EOG Resources, Apache, Marathon Oil, Imperial Oil, Suncor Energy, Husky Energy, Canadian Natural Resources, Royal Dutch Shell, BP, TOTAL, Eni, Equinor (Statoil), PetroChina, Sinopec, CNOOC, Petrobras, PJSC Gazprom, PJSC Rosneft Oil Company и PJSC LUKOIL. Objectives. The study assesses key profitability metrics of leading public corporations in oil and gas, identifies key trends in their developments as part of the analyzable period. We also determine what triggered such a transformation. Methods. We employed methods of comparative and financial-economic analysis, summarized official annual reports on financial and business operations prepared by major public O&G corporations. Results. Upon the comprehensive analysis of balance sheets prepared by 25 O&G corporations, we evaluated the dynamics of key profitability indicators in the public segment of O&G industry and determined what triggered the transformation. Conclusions and Relevance. For the analyzable period, major public O&G corporations were found to have become less profitable, especially manifesting this during the global financial and sectoral crisis. Some independent U.S. corporations are facing the most difficult situation. The public segment saw their profitability indicators fall, because the growth rate of operational expenses exceeded revenue predominantly due to costs of wear and tear, depletion and depreciation. What else affected the corporations was a considerable increase in the carrying amount of non-working assets. The public segment of O&G industry was discovered to observe gradually lowering income tax burden per unit of net revenue from core operations.

This article describes the essence and significance of the analysis of financial results of an enterprise. In the practical part, an example of analyzing the dynamics of profit indicators is considered. Profitability indicators are calculated. Factor analysis of profitability from sales using the method of absolute differences is performed.

Abstract:

Purpose: This study aimed to obtain an overview of the level of profitability, market value, and stock of price in PT. Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk Period 2005-2014. In addition, this study aimed to obtain profitability linkage to the stock price and relation of market value to the stock price on PT. Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk Period 2005-2014. Design / methodology / approaches: This study used a descriptive and verification method with time series design. The statistical analysis used is multiple linear regressions. Findings: Based on the findings, it could be proved that the regression model be used to see the effect of profitability and market value of the stock price by test F. Whereas with t tests showed that the profitability of positive effect on stock prices, while the market value did not have influence to stock of price. Originality/ Value: This study could provide insight in analyzing the financial performance of the company, especially in analyzing the company's ability to generate profits, how correctly the company's value in the eyes of investors, and how well the company to increase its stock of price. Abstract:

Purpose: This study aimed to determine the contribution of the influence of Cash Turnover and Accounts Receivable Turnover to profitability either partially or simultaneously in PD. Bank Perkreditan (BPR) Sukabumi City. Research methodology: The data sample used financial reports for 7 years from 2011 - 2017 or n = 28 quarterly report data using a purposive sampling technique. Statistical analysis using t-test and F-test using the EViews 10.0 program. Results: It is found that cash-turnover and accounts receivable turnover positively and significantly impact profitability. This means that together with the independent variables (cash-turnover and accounts receivable turnover affect the dependent variable (profitability). Limitations: The limitation and focus of research studies are limited to analyzing the contribution of cash turnover and accounts receivable turnover followed by its implications for ROA. Contribution: This study's results can be taken into consideration in banking financial reports to pay more attention to cash turnover and accounts receivable turnover in an effort to increase bank profitability. Abstract:

The widespread use of renewable energy sources and the growing concern about climate change, together with Spain’s exceptional weather and solar radiation conditions, have led to an increase in the use of photovoltaics for energy production in the country. Solar power generation has been tightly regulated, although the legal framework has changed frequently over the years. When assessing the potential financial performance of any business venture, legal as well as financial aspects must be considered, but a critical factor is the discount rate used, which must reflect the company’s capital cost. Other factors are the period of interest, the firm’s activity, market risk, and the level of debt of firms in the sector. The main objective of this study is thus to estimate the discount rate for companies using photovoltaics to produce solar power. We calculate it by employing two financial techniques: capital asset pricing model and historical return analysis. We then evaluate the investment in a photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 5000 kW located in eastern Spain, assuming it started its activity in different years which coincide with changes in the regulatory framework. The results show the relevance of the initial outlay costs for the profitability of photovoltaic power plants.

This study analyzes the profitability of fuel distributors in relation to the importation of gasoline A and diesel oil, which represents a competitive differential in the market. Therefore, the objectives of identifying and analyzing the profitability of fuel distributors in relation to the importation of gasoline A and diesel oil is of great relevance to the actors involved. The study is justified by discussing such issue and pointing out market trends that could benefit the fuel distribution sector. The methodological process of this research is divided in a systematic bibliographical revision, in the exploratory process and analysis of quantitative secondary data. Analyzing the presented context, it is possible to infer that the adoption of the profitability of the fuel distributors in relation to the importation of gasoline A and the diesel oil is of paramount importance to the strengthening of the strategy adopted by the organization in order to guarantee survival in the fuel market .

In the past few years, the number of products has increased exponentially on e-commerce. Retailers and wholesalers have struggled to keep pace with the rise in the bulk of products. This research intends to carry out the possibilities for deciding the product to be used for promoting business or brand on any e-commerce platform. The most difficult task for a seller is to decide which products should be considered for selling on various online platforms. The method presented in this paper determines which product from a given category should be promoted on an online e-commerce platform, which further increases the brand value or product’s online face value. By analyzing the pattern of which product has the highest buyer or inclination towards the particular product, the model employed in this research for visualizing the product is successfully recorded and assessed using the data visualization tool Tableau. This model can be considered as an innovation in sustainable development goals.

Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa informasi keuangan dari laporan keuangan serta laporan tahunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 69 perusahaan industri manufaktur yang telah diseleksi melalui metode purposive sampling dengan total 207 data selama tiga tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi logistik dalam menguji hubungan antara variabel dependen dan independen. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan program IBM SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap praktik perataan laba, sementara profitabilitas dan financial leverage tidak berpengaruh terhadap praktik perataan laba. Kata kunci: Perataan Laba, Ukuran Perusahaan, Profitabilitas, Financial Leverage. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical evidence about the effects of profitability, firm size, and financial leverage on income smoothing at manufacturing firms listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period of 2016-2018. The data used in this research was secondary data in the form of financial information from the financial statements and annual reports. There were 69 samples of manufacturing companies that have been previously selected using purposive sampling method with total of 207 data for three years. Binary Logistic Regression was used in analyzing the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. This research data was processed using IBM SPSS 23. Results shows that firm size, has a significant influence on the practice of income smoothing, while profitability and financial leverage has no significant influence on the practice of income smoothing. Cost concepts and farm business income measures used for analysis the data ranging from 1980-81 to 2011-12. Net return of coarse cereals cultivation was observed to be highest for maize and it was highest in Bihar (Rs. 15,429/ha) and lowest Uttar Pradesh (Rs. -4,006/ha). Net return from cultivation of sorghum was found to be highest in Andhra Pradesh (Rs. 952/ha) and lowest for Madhya Pradesh (Rs. -1,456/ha). This study aims to know the effect of sales and account receivables turnover on profitability in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods and industrial sector listed on Indonesian stock exchange for 2017-2019 period. The independent variables in the study are sales and accounts receivable turnover. The dependent variable was profitability. The sample in this study was manufacturing companies in the consumer goods and industrial sector listed on the Indonesian stock exchange from 2017-2019, namely 27 companies. They were taken by purposive sampling technique and 81 datawere taken. The method in analyzing data by using multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed that the influence of sales did not have effect on profitability, while the influence of account receivables turnover have significant effect on profitability. Simultaneously the influence of sales and accounts receivable turnover has significant effect on profitability.

Subject. The article examines the profitability of the mining farm. Objectives. I determine what aspects the mining farm’s profitability should be analyzed, and articulate my own technique for analyzing, untapping the room for the profitability growth on the analyzable mining farm. Methods. To make my suggestions reasonable, reliable and substantiate them, I use the comprehensive approach to studying the profitability of the mining farm, general and special methods of research, such as the retrospective, systems and functional-structural analysis, observation, classification, instrumental techniques for grouping, sampling, comparison and generalization, factor analysis. Results. The study is the first to present the structural-logic model of the factor system of profitability of the mining farm. I assessed factors that influenced the profitability, found bottle necks and aspects to focus on in order to improve the performance of the mining farm. Conclusions and Relevance. Business entities that are residents at the Belarus Part of High Technology and have mining farms can use the proposed technique, which are of applied nature.

The subjects of the research were Islamic Banks which listed in Indonesia stock exchange. Technique in collecting data was purposive sampling method in which it obtained three Islamic Banks. Abstract:

This study was conducted to analyze the effect of the Capital Adequacy, Asset Quality, Management Efficiency and Liquidity Management ratios on profitability proxied by bank Return On Assets (ROA), by analyzing the annual financial statements that have been published in 2013-2017. The variables used in analyzing the financial statements of Sharia Commercial Banks that are sampled are Asset Quality which is proxied by Non Performing Financing (NPF), Liquidity Management which is proxied by Financing to Debt Ratio (FDR), Management Efficiency proxied by Net Operating Margin (NOM), and Capital Adequacy proxied by Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). The sample in this study was 11 Islamic commercial banks for 5 years, namely 2013-2017. The results showed that Capital Adequacy, Asset Quality, and Liquidity Management significantly influenced the profitability of Islamic commercial banks. Whereas Management Efficiency does not affect the profitability of Islamic commercial banks. Based on these results, Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia must increase capital, reduce problematic financing by improving internal processes, and increase bank liquidity by increasing fundraising.

Research in the important area of evaluating the relationship of hotel room sales with hotel amenities, for instance, food and beverage sales is limited. While this study focuses on differences in overall profitability when considering the transient rate at hotels, the authors have utilized data from hotels with food and beverage operations in order to provide additional insights for this sector. The results show that when modeling the profitability of a hotel, several items are important and should be included when analyzing profitability. The segment of the market, type of hotel, location of the hotel, number of rooms, and average daily rate are all found to be important factors in determining profitability and should be included in models of profit. The transient rate is controlled for in all models but is found to be a significant factor in determining the profitability of a hotel in only some specifications.

By analyzing the data using multiple regression, correlation coefficients, and hypothesis testing which will later be assisted by using SPSS version 21. Several authors have noted that the profitability of a coupon promotion depends on the incremental sales generated by the coupon. However, most prior research on coupon promotions has focused on redemption rates and little is known about the characteristics of households that make incremental purchases. The authors develop and test several hypotheses about the characteristics of households that make incremental purchases in response to a direct mail coupon promotion. For the product tested, coupons produced greater incremental sales among households that were larger, more educated, and were homeowners. The findings suggest that directing coupons to the most responsive market segments can increase profits significantly.

The ap-proaches to the assessment of profitability are in-vestigated. The relevance of the topic is due to the importance of analyzing the profitability of an enter-prise's assets to determine ways and reserves to improve the efficiency of financial and economic activities. The scientific novelty of this work con-sists in the study of theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of profitability, as well as the development of practical recommendations for organizing the analysis of the profitability of assets. It is based on the specification of profits by type and the introduction of indicators, such as the tax effect coefficient and the interest effect coefficient. The proposed algorithm makes it possible to make eco-nomically effective management decisions related to the development of a company in the context of dynamically changing factors of both the external and internal environment.

Sample this research is a Regional Development Bank of 24 Banks with research data from 2010 to 2018. A total of 24 Regional Development Banks throughout Indonesia were sampled from 2010 to 2018, so the observation data in this study includes 216 research data and there are 80 outlier data so that the data processed in this study with 136 data processed in the study. Analysis of the data in this study used Structural Equation Modeling with Warp PLS Program and internal actors gave a significant influence on profitability, Intervenes local government gave insignificant influence on profitability, External actors gave a significant influence on profitability, policy Bank Indonesia and financial services authority gave insignificant influence on profitability, Policy Bank Indonesia and financial services authority gave a positive and insignificant influence on profitability with external factors as moderation at the Regional Development Bank in Indonesia.

Abstract:

This study aims to determine the relationship between profitability, good corporate governance, dividend policy, and firm value from 2016-2018 in manufacturing companies at ISSI. This study uses classical assumption tests and path analysis. The results show that the board of commissioners has a significant negative effect on profitability and has no impact on firm value. The audit committee and dividend policy do not affect profitability and firm value. Profitability has a significant positive effect on firm value. Profitability mediates the impact of the board of commissioners and dividend policy but does not mediate the audit committee on firm value. This finding shows a relationship between variables that impact firm value. The implication of this research is to suggest that investors need to look at the company's prospects by paying attention to the company's value and analyzing the company's performance by considering the influencing factors. Abstract:

The study examines the bank-specific and macroeconomic determinants of banks profitability in Nigeria analyzing audited financial reports of selected sixteen (16) commercial banks over the period of 2010 to 2015 making up to 96 observations. The study identified that existing studies are sketchy in developing economies even though many studies have emerge in developed economies. The bank profitability is measured by return on assets and return on equity as function of bank-specific and macroeconomic determinants. Using the balanced panel data set, the empirical results of the study shows that capital adequacy and liquidity have a positive and significant effect on bank profitability. However, efficiency ratio have a negative and significant effect on bank profitability. With regards to macroeconomic variable, GDP growth also have a positive and significant impact on banks profitability. The empirical results of the study suggested that banks can improve their profitability through increasing capital and liquidity, decreasing operating cost with conscious effort to maintain transparency in their operations. In addition, a good economic environment for financial institutions foster increase in bank profitability. Hence, the study recommends that further studies can expand the scope while extending to other industries as well.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to prove empirically the effect of disclosure of corporate social responsibility and profitability on the value of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2017. Samples were selected using purposive sampling technique to obtain a total sample of 15 companies, so the number of observations with a study period of 3 years was 45 observations. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. After analyzing the data, the results obtained from CSR disclosure did not affect the value of the company and found a positive relationship between profitability and firm value. This research uses quantitative methods with multiple regression analysis. The tool for analyzing research data is using SMART PLS. The results of the study stated that company size (X1) had no effect on capital structure (Y), profitability (X2) had no effect on capital structure (Y), company growth (X3) had no effect on capital structure (Y), and asset structure (X4 ) affect the capital structure (Y).

Abstract:

The aim of the study is to explore the trends of organizations performance of Islamic and Non-Islamic South Asian countries. Out of 8 south Asian countries, 4 were selected those play a vital role in economic development of south Asia. Pakistan and Bangladesh were taken as Islamic ruling countries, whereas, India and Sri Lanka were taken as non-Islamic countries. 10 years of data before COVID-19 pandemic from organizations listed in stock markets were gathered on annual basis. Efficiency and profitability ratios were taken as variables. Augmented dickey fuller unit root test was used to interpret the stationary in data. Data was found volatile in South Asian countries organization in terms of efficiency and profitability ratios. Results revealed that purchasing power among people of South Asia increased in terms of buying commodities as the stationarity in stock inventory did not investigate and it inclined with consistent growth gradually. Future studies are possible with a different methodology (graphical representation and other associations) and contexts (other than South Asia) with induction of sample size.
