Abstract:
Human resource refers to the stock of productive skills and technical knowledge embodied in labor. It is tangible in nature. Many early economic theories refer to it simply as labor, one of the three factors of production, and consider it to be a fungible resource -- homogeneous and easily interchangeable. The goal of human resource management is to help an organization to meet strategic goals by attracting, and retaining employees and also to manage them effectively so that they deliver productive outputs. The key word here perhaps is "fit", i.e. a HRM approach seeks to ensure a fit between the management of an organization’s employees, and the overall strategic direction of the company. Human capital instead, refers to the intangible aspect of human resources. It enhances the value of employees by striking a win-win goal for employers and employees. It focuses on the intrinsic value of each employee, where any expenditure on employees is regarded as an investment rather than an expense. The varying talents and motivations of employees are given cognizance so that incentives and working arrangements can be created to enhance each employee's contributions to organizational performance. This paper distinguishes human capital from human resources and how human resource may be transformed into human capital.

Abstract:
Abstract Due to increasing competitiveness in the industry, companies will invariably adopt strategies to ensure that their employees continuously eliminate waste and create more value. This concept was applied at a company that designs, develops, and manufactures steel moulds for the injection of thermoplastics, with the purpose of implementing Lean thinking in the production sector, thus achieving the following objectives: organization of production; preparation of documents to support production, and standardization of graphite stock. Regarding the application of the 5S tool, an improvement in worker safety, and in cleaning was observed, which also led to a reduction in the time wasted when locating tools. Through the implementation of 5S auditing, enabling to verify an overall improvement, from a rating of 35% in the first audit to 85% in the subsequent audit. The tools implemented allowed for improvements in communication between sectors, leading to increased productivity and productive autonomy. Finally, graphite stock was standardized by means of Kanban.

Abstract:
Subject. This article explores the scope of the integrated reporting concept, which reflects the preservation of the value of production capital stock in the process of creating the value of a commercial organization. Objectives. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the hypothesis of preservation of the value of production capital, expressed in the business accounting model reflecting the processes of value creation and the influence on the stock of capital value. This statement of the problem is consistent with the concept of maintaining physical capital, as expressed in the conceptual framework of financial reporting. Methods. For the study, we used the methods of observation, abstraction, deduction and induction, stochastic and actual analyses of economic phenomena. Results. The study proves the need to distinguish between diametrically opposed accounting categories, such as wear and tear of fixed assets and depreciation of fixed assets. The first category should reflect the loss in the value of production capital stock. The second one should reflect the possibility of recovering financial losses, and the result of these accounting procedures should be reflected through the capital estimates. Conclusions and Relevance. The study concludes on the following: impairment of assets and liabilities is one of the methods of business model accounting, realized through the procedure of formation of fair value of assets and liabilities; the capital estimates reflect the possibility of maintaining the stock of the value of production capital when depreciation is considered as the possibility of financial capital to reimburse the value of losses in production capital. The approach proposed in the article to reflect accounting procedures related to the formation of capital estimates in financial statements not only corresponds to the concept of capital maintenance, but also allows to complete accounting records on reflecting the residual value of fixed assets.

"Improved MRO Inventory Management System in Oil and Gas Company: Increased Service Level and Reduced Average Inventory Investment." Sustainability 12, no. 19 (September 29, 2020): 8027. http://dx.doi.org/10.3390/su12198027.

Abstract:
This study proposes a methodology for the oil and gas businesses to keep their production plant productive with a minimum investment in carrying maintenance, repair, and operating inventory planning. The goal is to assist the exploration and production companies in minimizing the investment in keeping maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) inventory for improving production plant uptime. The MRO inventory is the most expensive asset and it requires substantial investment. It helps in keeping the oil and gas production plant productive by performing planned and unplanned maintenance activities. A (Q, r) model with a stock-out and backorder cost approach is combined with a continuous inventory review policy for the analysis of class A items of oil and gas production plant MRO inventory. The class A items are identified through popular ABC analysis based on annual dollar volume. The demand for the inventory is modeled through Poisson distribution with consideration of constant lead time. The (Q, r) model in both stock-out cost and backorder cost approaches assigned higher order frequency and lower service level to low annual demand and highly expensive items. The stock-out cost approach shows an 8.88% increase in the average service level and a 56.9% decrease in the company average inventory investment. The backorder cost approach results in a 7.77% increase in average service level and a 57% decrease in average inventory investment in contrast to the company’s existing inventory management system. The results have a direct impact on increasing plant uptime and productivity and reducing company maintenance cost through properly managing maintenance stock. The analysis is carried out on the oil and gas production plant’s MRO inventory data, but it can be applied to other companies’ inventory data as well. All the results reflected in this research are based on the inventory ordering policy of two orders per year. The inventory ordering frequency per year may be other than two orders per year depending on the type of organization.

Abstract:
Stock market prediction is the demonstration of attempting to decide the future estimation of an organization stock or other monetary instrument exchanged on a trade. This paper will exhibit how to perform stock expectations utilizing Machine Learning calculations. Foreseeing securities exchange costs is an intricate assignment that generally includes broad human-PC communication. Because of the connected idea of stock costs, customary bunch preparing techniques can't be used productively for securities exchange examination. In the current framework, the Sliding window calculation is used. This calculation investigates the information, with a window pushing ahead, in the wake of examining the information. It is very tedious for expectation of stocks. While, in the proposed framework, the utilization of LSTM (Long Short Term Memory) calculation, gives compelling outcomes. While analyzing, the superfluous information is overlooked. The current framework is additionally not viable, in taking care of non-straight information. What's more, it is less proficient contrasted with LSTM algorithm. So, to help defeat these, LSTM helps in dealing with the information in a productive way. Indeed, speculators are exceptionally intrigued by the exploration zone of stock value expectations. For decent and fruitful speculation, numerous financial specialists are sharp in knowing the future circumstance of the share trading system. Great and viable expectation frameworks for securities exchange encourage brokers, financial specialists, and investigators by giving steady data like the future course of the share trading system. In this work, an intermittent neural system (RNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) are presented, a way to deal with anticipate securities exchange lists. The proposed model is a promising prescient procedure for a very non-direct time arrangement, whose designs are hard to catch by customary models.

Abstract:
Sociological scholarship, economic theory, and empirical studies all indicate that interpersonal relationships are valuable productive assets and deserve to be formally incorporated into the study of human development. This paper employs the India Human Development Survey to examine, using OLS and logistic regressions, the impact of different dimensions of social capital on multiple proxies for household welfare. Social capital in the form of memberships in local community organizations and social network connections has a statistically and economically significant association with household consumption expenditures, physical asset ownership, and the probability of a household living in poverty. Households that are members of any formal community organization are expected to have higher monthly per capita consumption expenditures than households without any memberships. Estimates of a similar magnitude are observed when modeling a household’s stock of physical assets, a longer-term indicator of economic welfare. These indicators of social capital are also significantly associated with lower odds of a household living below the poverty line. Organizational memberships and social networks are also associated with considerably higher odds of a household assessing its own economic situation positively. Overall, social capital is a catalyst for increasing household welfare along multiple dimensions, and, therefore, a critical area of focus for economists, sociologists, development practitioners, and policymakers.

Abstract:
The article presents the results of the assessment of forest conditions and the state of forest cultures of Scots pine and Silver birch in the suburban area of Volgograd. The relevance of the study is due to the need to select productive and resistant to dry conditions mixing schemes of tree species for the organization of forest-park areas in suburban areas of large cities. Studies were conducted on the example of a key area of 0,7 hectares in the northern part of the city. Soil forest availability was determined by the granulometric composition, organic matter content and groundwater level. Soil sections of light chestnut soils are described, the characteristics of the main physicochemical indicators of soils are given. A profile of groundwater occurrence has been compiled and its relationship with the relief of the site is shown. The condition of forest cultures was assessed by bonitet, stock and vital status of the stand. High vitality indicators of pine and birch testify to the optimal conditions for the growth of forest crops under dry pinery. The conducted research allowed recommending, during the silvicultural works in the north of the suburban zone of Volgograd, the cool way of mixing pine with birch to create highly productive and sustainable protective forest stands.

Full text
Abstract:
Purpose The article outlines the arguments by the proponents and opponents of maximizing shareholder value and identifies the true threat the concept poses to U.S. businesses. Design/methodology/approach The author quotes authorities on both side of the debate over the validity of maximizing shareholder value as a driving principle of management and points out the risks and the alternatives. He notes that many long-established public corporations in the U.S. have chosen to bow to the power of shareholders and reward them instead of attempting risky initiatives that might create new customers or enhance customer value. Findings Maximizing shareholder value is either the guiding principle of business success that provides a rightful reward for investors or a corrupting influence that thwarts investment in employee talent, sustaining innovation, product quality and customer loyalty. Practical implications Since the C-suite is hugely compensated for increases in the current stock price, decisions based on “shareholder value” tend to be decisions that boost the current stock price. Social implications As evidence the problem is being recognized, some CEOs have already spoken out against preferentially rewarding stockholders instead of investing to sustain the organization. Originality/value The author concludes that shareholder value theory has not only failed on its own narrow terms of making money for shareholders. It has been steadily destroying the productive capacity and dynamism of the entire economy.

Abstract:
Purpose. To evaluate the reproductive indicators and exterior characteristics of the breeding brood stock of the Galician carp group at the original farms, namely farms "Korop" and "Dzherelo", State Enterprise "Lviv Experimental Station". Methodology. The study was conducted according to generally accepted methods in fish farming and breeding using statistical processing and data analysis. The productive features of the Galician carp were improved by the method of mass selection and directional selection. The tasks of the selection were to obtain a breeding stock of the Galician group, which will ensure the production of offspring with high individual weight in the first year of life. Findings. The age of maturity in brood Galician carp was 3-4 years in males and 4-5 years in females. After pituitary stimulation in the conditions of industrial reproduction, a positive reaction of the brood fish was established, which exceeded 92%. When forming breeding stocks of Galician carp in the first year of life, the intensity of selection was 15%. Directional selection on the basis of average individual weight started on the second year of life. The intensity of selection of age-1+ Galician carp group was 50%, then this parameter exceeded 85%. Reproduction of the Galician carp group occurred in spawning ponds and in industrial conditions. Working fertility of females was 1256.0 ± 132.80 thousand eggs, relative fertility - 127.5 ± 5.52 thousand eggs/kg, which was quite high in comparison with the Ukrainian framed carp. During the reproduction of Galician carp in ponds, the yield of three-day-old larvae from one nest amounted to 241 thousand individuals. According to the obtained data, based on the exterior indicators, the Galician carp group is characterized by a high-backed physique and fleshy structure, which is preserved throughout life. In view of the conducted study, the Galician carp group fully complies with the requirements of the Regulation on approbation of selection achievements in animal husbandry and can be submitted to the relevant authorities for consideration and approval as an intrabreed type of Ukrainian framed and scaly carp breeds. Originality. The analysis of reproductive indicators of the breeding brood stock of Galician carp will serve as a basis for the presentation of this group in the status of intrabreed type and its approval as a selection achievement. Practical value. The obtained results will contribute to the expansion of the Galician carp group both in the aquaculture of Ukraine and abroad. Breeding brood material as an object of selection will be involved in work with framed carp mixes. Key words: breeding, carp, inventory, grading, crossbreeding, organization of spawning, reproduction.

Abstract:
Japan has a total productive forest area of 25 million ha of which 31% is owned by the state and 69% is owned by municipalities and the private sector. The total volume of growing stock is 2 484 million m3, of which plantations account for 42% and natural forest 58%. The average volume of growing stock is about 100 m3 ha. The average annual growth and removal are estimated to be 70 million and 40 million m3, respectively. There are three main forest zones; subfrigid in the north, temperate in the centre and warm temperate in the south. Regeneration was recognized as vital to the country's wood supply and environmental reconstruction after the destruction during the Second World War. The average annual planting area is about 200 000 ha with the largest area ever planted, in 1954, accounting for 432 700 ha. Skyline harvesting systems are common except in the northern area of Hokkaido. The Japanese Forestry Agency is the central forestry organization which has the leading role in providing management guidance for private forest owners. Forestry research is conducted by the Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute, and by prefectural (equivalent to provincial) and university forest experiment stations. The pulp and paper manufacturing technology is quite advanced. Almost the entire quantity of paper and paperboard needed in Japan is produced domestically, but more than 60% of the raw timber requirement is supplied by imports.

Abstract:
Further improvement of the quality of life is closely connected with the development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation. To provide autotourists and road users with civilized conditions tourism and recreation and autoturist clusters are developing, as well as elements of their networks and diverse areas of road and roadside services. According to their functional purpose, the latter are divided into enterprises servicing car tourists and road users and those which function is the maintenance of rolling stock. Development of infrastructure for technical services for wheeled vehicles of autotourists and road users and providing them with a single high standard of quality of specialized and related services must meet certain requirements, including the scope and structure of the fleet of wheeled vehicles and their lineup; growth of domestic and inbound tourism flows; increase in the range and volume of services provided; geographical expansion, regions and types of autotravel; individualization of services; road safety and compliance with environmental safety. Until recently, the existing enterprises specializing in services for wheeled vehicles of autoturists and road users have had a low level of technical equipment and workload for productive employees. Formation of infrastructure maintenance and repair of rolling stock is advisable to be developed by types of services based on the block principle. A strategic step in improving the quality of services and efficiency of enterprises is the introduction of interactive elements of acceptance: focus primarily on the client, efficient organization of services, the use of modern information technology, competent staff, additional services and sales of related products and accessories.

The organizational and economic mechanism includes the organizational and economic blocks. The article considers the elements of the organizational component of the investment development mechanism the size of the organization, the organizational and legal form and the specialization of the organization, which influence the investment development of the industry. The research was carried out on the basis of the official accounting statements of organizations of the Russian Federation for 2016 of the database of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation using the software of the consulting financial and analytical company Akon. Groups of agricultural organizations were identified by type of activity. It is concluded that small forms of enterprises prevail in the sectors of dairy and beef cattle breeding, and potato farming that determines their lower profitability and limits the possibilities for investing at their own funds. In specialized large and medium-sized organizations (production of grain and oilseeds, and sugar beet production) the efficiency of production is higher against the mixed production. The predominantly joint-stock form of management among large and medium-sized agricultural organizations expands the possibilities of investment activity.

Abstract:
Besides obtaining valuable beekeeping products, bee families have a positive effect when pollinating forest plants, ensuring both high productivity of resources and promoting the conservation and favourable development of natural populations of forest species. The object of the study, the lands of the forest fund of the Toratau geopark of the Republic of Bashkortostan, serve as an optimization of the number, expansion of the range and maintaining the genetic purity of the population of the indigenous Burzyan side bee (Apis mellifera L). There needs to be more information on the inventory of honey resources on the territory of the Geopark. Therefore, the goal was to determine the honey stock of forest land for productive medical collection and rational use of resources. As a result of research, land with an area of 479,640 hectares was covered with forest, which includes significant territories of linden stands (213335 hectares - 44.5%) and broad-leaved forest that does not have nectarines of linden and maple (194924 ha - 40.6%). Lipnyak is characterized by a biological resource potential of 96117283.3 kg and a broad-leaved forest, respectively, 904447.36 kg. The total estimated honey reserve of the territory of the Republic of Belarus mountain-forest zone consists of 104 595 108 kg, which will allow for keeping up to 560,704 bee families. Small-leaved linden accounts for 89.3%, located extremely unevenly in the studied territory. In the years favourable for the production of linden, the organization of nomadic beekeeping is necessary. The share of nectar reserves of maple, willow and grassy communities relative to but is small and amounts to 9.6%. However, given the instability of colour and nectar release of linden, the presence of alternative sources of nectar allows the preservation of the number of stationary bee families in the “lean years.”

The purpose of the article — to determine the reserves for improving the quality of library stock and the effectiveness of reading promotion based on the analysis of the results of sociological research of the subscription department of the Ivan Franko Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Universal Scientific Library. The methodology. There were used the principles of systemic and socio-communicative approaches, that made it possible to identify the library as an intermediary in the chain “fiction — library — reader”, to establish the links of interaction and mutual influence between the information needs of users and the quality of the collection of library stock. The application of sociological and statistical research methods enabled to establish the peculiarities of the chronological, geographical, genre, problem and thematic structure of the fund of modern Ukrainian-language fiction published in 2000–2020, to identify the sections of the fund with the greatest and least reader demand. The results. The study of the peculiarities of the use of certain genres of fiction permitted to determine that in 2000-2020 the most requested were: adventures, travels, detective stories — 97.4%; sentimental literature — 95.7%; motivational books — 95.2%; historical literature — 94.3%; fantasy, mysticism — 94.2%; books about the war in Ukraine 2014–2020 — 94.1%; journalism — 86.4%. The necessity of library activities regarding the systematic formation of reading culture, education of the need and skill of meaningful reading has been proven. The scientific topicality. It is justified that the special attention of the workers of subscription department of Ivan Franko Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Universal Scientific Library should be given to supplementing the stock with modern Ukrainian-language fiction publications, published in 2020–2023, popular among users, to promote advertising activities regarding the fund of foreign Ukrainian-language literature and editions of Ukrainian classics through the creation of genre and topical open access reading zones in libraries in order to bring the book closer to the reader; consistent and systematic popularization of reading fiction through the organization of book exhibitions, presentations, literature reviews, etc. Among the effective measures to popularize the works of undeservedly forgotten authors are exhibition cycles: “The Name I Have Discovered”, “In the Circle of Friends”, “Ukrainian Literary Olympus”, “Events of the Book Year”, “Lonely Books Want to Meet”, etc. The participation of libraries in a publishing project such as the literary in-folio “Time to read” is also productive (for everyone who loves books — about what is worth being read nowadays). The practical significance. The results of the study can be used by Ukrainian libraries in the process of improving the quality of stockpiling of modern fiction, planning a system of measures to popularize reading for the period till 2032 within the implementation of the “Reading as a life strategy” (2023) state program.

Abstract:
AbstractThe eastern boundary region off Angola encompasses a highly productive ecosystem important for the food security of the coastal population. The fish-stock distribution, however, undergoes large variability on intraseasonal, interannual, and longer time scales. These fluctuations are partly associated with large-scale warm anomalies that are often forced remotely from the equatorial Atlantic and propagate southward, reaching the Benguela upwelling off Namibia. Such warm events, named Benguela Niños, occurred in 1995 and in 2011. Here we present results from an underexplored extensive in situ dataset that was analyzed in the framework of a capacity-strengthening effort. The dataset was acquired within the Nansen Programme executed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and funded by the Norwegian government. It consists of hydrographic and velocity data from the Angolan continental margin acquired biannually during the main downwelling and upwelling seasons over more than 20 years. The mean seasonal changes of the Angola Current from 6° to 17°S are presented. During austral summer the southward Angola Current is concentrated in the upper 150 m. It strengthens from north to south, reaching a velocity maximum just north of the Angola Benguela Front. During austral winter the Angola Current is weaker, but deeper reaching. While the southward strengthening of the Angola Current can be related to the wind forcing, its seasonal variability is most likely explained by coastally trapped waves. On interannual time scales, the hydrographic data reveal remarkable variability in subsurface upper-ocean heat content. In particular, the 2011 Benguela Niño was preceded by a strong subsurface warming of about 2 years’ duration.

Abstract:
The state of development of dairy cattle breeding in Ukraine for the period of 2011–2016 was analyzed. The trends of livestock changes, volumes of milk production depending on regions, forms of organization, breeder's membership, breeding and breeding work, influence of genetic and paratyphoid factors on indicators of development of the industry are determined. An analysis of the location of dairy cattle, its concentration, organizational forms of milk production shows significant differences between regions, both in terms of the number of dairy herds and milk production volumes. The largest concentration of cows' livestock in agricultural enterprises is observed in the northern and central regions, in particular, Poltava, Cherkassy, Sumy, Chernihiv, Khmelnytsky oblast. Large agricultural enterprises are more cost-effective than small ones, but the last ones during 2010–2016 still prevailed in the total number of agricultural enterprises - more than 50%. The number of cows of diary and diary-meat breeds decreased almost twice (from 5431 thousand in 2000 to 2736,5 thousand in 2010), and in agricultural enterprises and farms – in four times (correspondingly from 2475 to 604.6 thousand goals). Despite the simultaneous growth of 71.6% of the average cow supply (from 2359 kg – 2000 to 4049 kg – 2009), gross milk production, after some growth until 2005, in 2009 decreased by 13.5% comparing to 2001. The same trend in the dynamics of livestock population continued in the next five years. The number of cows of Ukrainian Black-and-White diary breed as of 01.01.2016 in the control herds decreased to 68181 or 11217 heads, Ukrainian Red-and-White dairy – by 8677 and Ukrainian Red diary – by 4110 heads. At this, gross milk production increased from 2216,6 tons in 2010 to 2705,6 tons in 2016. It should be emphasized that the increase in milk production occurred only in agricultural enterprises due to the growth of productivity of cows from 3975 kg in 2010 to 5643 kg in 2016, that is almost twice. An analysis of the structure of milk production in agricultural enterprises shows the gradual increase in production volumes by large farms, which is a positive trend in terms of milk quality, economic efficiency of its production, and their development as more investment attractive. An important factor in the growth of milk production is the breeding stock of cows. Over the past 5 years, the total number of breeding cows has decreased from 153.6 thousand heads to 128.2 thousand, that is on 12 per cent. The reduction in the number of cows applies to all breeds, but most of it occurred in Red dairy breeds (16.3%). The milk yield of the cows of breeding herds of new domestic breeds grew in all breeds and made up 6613 kg of milk in Ukrainian Black-and-White diary breed with a fat content of 3.70%, protein 3.27%, Ukrainian Red-and-White dairy breeding, respectively 6357; 3.76; 3.26; Red diary – 5963; 3.87 and 3.29. An equally important problem in the development of dairy cattle breeding in Ukraine is the low level of reproduction of animals against the background of reducing the number of livestock and increasing its productivity. This is confirmed by the low yield of calves in farms of different categories. So for 2016, according to statistics, he was 70 calves per 100 cows. One of the factor that reduces the calving out is the natural biological antagonism of milk yield and reproductive capacity of the cows. Growth in milk yield of cows in breeding flocks with an increase in the heredity of the Holstein breed led to a decrease in the yield of calves per 100 cows to 68.7 heads (in 2010). The duration of productive use has the opposite tendency - in newly created domestic breeds it extends to 3–4 lactations, in Holstein – up to 1.8–2.0 lactation. The level of heifer cultivation is a major paratypic factor affecting the formation of their productive features. The intensity of breeding heifers and heifers does not fully meet the requirements of the standard domestic breeds for their live weight. From 2019, 33498 heifers in only 45.7% – 71.5% of heads, average live weight in 6 months corresponded to the breed standard, in 12 months – 61.1–82.1 and 18 months old – 63.1–73,9%. In a number of even breeding farms, the average daily gain of heifers at 6–12 months of age, during the formation of the organism, is 550–625 g. As a rule, in such farms they do not reach a high level of milk productivity. The ways and methods of reforming dairy cattle for the period up to 2025 should be formed on such bases: - in organizational terms, focusing on the expansion of milk production in large farms, which is positive in terms of the use of modern intensive technologies, the economic efficiency of its production, the attractiveness of investment; - the revival of the national selection system, which corresponds to the best examples of its organization in European countries; - domestic dairy breeds must be established as the basis of domestic dairy cattle breeding, which correspond to the conditions of their breeding and quality of products according to a set of features; - amendments to the Procedure for using the funds provided for in the state budget, directing them to implementation of the breeding program in livestock, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Execution of the proposed measures will allow to achieve the volumes of production of milk and dairy products provided by the Program.

Abstract:
One of the current problems in the enterprise management system is the creation and replenishment of stocks, the organization of continuous monitoring and prompt supply of raw materials. Using mathematical models, you can solve the problem of forming the optimal production program of the enterprise, investing in production, as well as to carry out strategic planning of enterprise development. In each case, it is important to build a model that describes the system under study, and on its basis to find the optimal ratio between costs and benefits of the selected level of stocks and determine what size stocks are sufficient. Correct inventory management allows you to maintain the production process and meet the needs of consumers in a timely manner. The purpose of this study is to build a model with a system with fully backordering, which is the optimal value of the stock level and the amount of average quarterly costs, which corresponds to the optimal value. Research methods are based on a probabilistic model of management approach for the enterprise. The method of building a model of inventory management system with periodic inspections was used, which found the average values of the intensity of demand for raw materials, unit costs and the cost of order verification. Depending on the initial values of the parameters, the optimal reserve of the quarterly stock is calculated, which corresponds to the given demand intensity. The study concludes on the value of the optimal level of stocks, as well as the average cost for the period corresponding to the regulatory level of stock.

Abstract:
Joint-stock company is the most developed form of private capital association historically and logically growing out of the previous organizational forms of the existence of market organizations. A joint stock company is the result of the development of two interrelated processes. From the standpoint of economic content, a joint-stock company is the result of the development of the relations of production themselves from its natural forms to the commodity form and then to the form of the capitalist economy. From the point of view of the forms in which this content develops, in the form of a joint-stock company, the process of improving organizational forms that allow uniting private capital to achieve a single goal – making a profit – finds its "logical conclusion". Unlike the legal forms of a general partnership and a limited liability company, the form of a joint-stock company allows to combine a potentially unlimited number of investors and their capital on terms that most contribute to the maximization and preservation of private wealth, potentially for all members of modern society.

Abstract:
Implementation of modern innovative technologies in agricultural production allows not only to save both work and monetary forces of agricultural organizations, but also to increase production of milk. The article discusses the experience of implementation of modern innovative technologies in milk production by the example of application of the latest professional software version for management of feeding animals “DTM IC”. This software version allows agricultural organizations to accurately monitor and control the cost of forages, adjust a feeding diet, manage stocks, select components of a forage and collect all data on each feeding, generate detailed reports. Implementation of these best practices of the software for management of feeding animals "DTM IC" in production of milk allowed the analyzed organization to increase dairy productivity and to lower costs of forages; the payback of the program is 2.5 months. Implementation in dairy production of the milking machine “Roundabout” allowed the organization to considerably reduce expenses of time for milking of cows and to save work of service staff. To conclude, the efficiency of the modern innovation technologies used in the milk production organization is obvious, wich allows not only to significantly reduce the cost of milk production, but also to increase the financial results of management.

Abstract:
The specific problems of apartment building management in Ukraine, which arose as a result of housing privatization using the approaches of civil rather than commercial law, are considered. The recognition of the apartment as real estate, the organization of house management through the voluntary creation of condominiums in the form of a public organization; absence of land and house as real estate in the account of the subject of ownership and management are criticized. The analysis of the literature showed the need for a profound rethinking of ways to improve home management. The purpose of the article is to consider an apartment building as a primary object of ownership and as a production system, an economic and not public organization, enterprise. The methodological approach in substantiating the ways to solve the problem and in formulating conclusions is to compare these alternatives of joint ownership with the use of the provisions of system analysis, models and organizational and legal forms of enterprises. It is shown that in the housing sector as a production subsystem of the sphere of social production, and in it - in the multi-apartment housing stock as a subsystem, the house is their element. Home management is mostly organized by apartment owners as a joint household or condominium. However, a modern apartment building in a business environment is a complex production system that has all the functional features of a business organization-enterprise, and the ownership structure can function most effectively on a corporate model in the form of a joint stock company. Conclusions on the incapacity of the current model of ownership and management of an apartment building, the need to improve the model of condominiums as a subject of management of the object - a condominium; formation of a new segment of corporate-owned houses in joint households are formulated.

Abstract:
Modular production and component commonality are two widely used strategies in the manufacturing industry to meet customers growing needs for customized products. Using these strategies, companies can enhance their performance to achieve optimal safety stock levels. Despite the importance of safety stocks in business competition, little attention has been paid to the way to reduce them without affecting the customer service levels. This paper develops a mathematical model to reduce safety stock levels in organizations that employ modular production. To construct the model, we take advantage of the benefits of aggregate inventories, standardization of components, component commonality, and Group Technology philosophy in regard to stock levels. The model is tested through the simulation of three years of operation of two modular product systems. For each system, we calculated and compared the safety stock levels for two cases: (1) under the only presence of component commonality and (2) under the presence of both component commonality and Group Technology philosophy. The results show a reduction in safety stock levels when we linked the component commonality with the Group Technology philosophy. The paper presents a discussion of the implications of each case, features of the model, and suggestions for future research.

Abstract:
Despite the interest of bankers for using Profit and Loss Sharing (PLS)[1] banking for the last decades, it has not prevailed yet executively. The existence of different definitions of Riba, absence of appropriate operational, supervisory, and managing mechanism on PLS are some reasons that haven't allowed this kind of banking to be practiced yet. Here, we are going to introduce a practical method for Profit and Loss Sharing (PLS) banking to overcome these problems. In this bank, the basis for determination of interest rate of loans is real economy return rate. The bank operates as an intermediary, who gets commission fee, collects saving resources and as an attorney or legal representative of the depositor, allocates them to investment projects, and supervises the detailed operation of the contractor. The yields of the investment will transfer to resources owners who are depositors whatever profit or losses. The PLS banking is a banking system with newly defined instruments of Mosharaka and Pazireh that not only stabilizes the financial and economic markets by preventing the banks, loanees /entrepreneurs and design, construction and contractor sectors in the economy from bankruptcy during crisis periods and volatile markets, but also makes the banks as an international firm which perform similar jobs as stock exchange markets for transactions of PLS products certificates through a secondary certificate market on virtual internet space. Depositors will earn more stabilized benefits too.In this designed method, a trustee (Amin) is a unit who supervise the contractor/entrepreneur operations on behalf of the bank for being honesty in carrying out the project, controlling on executive operations along with announced programs, resources allocation manner, and auditing financial statements.PLS banking will use new financial instruments and innovations such as Mosharaka (partnership) Certificates for projects with specific ends and Pazireh (Subscripted) Certificates for endless (productive) projects. Establishing of secondary exchange market for the transaction of certificates, and various insurance services will play important roles for activating and increasing the efficiency of newly established virtual markets. All of the activities in this method will be done on the basis of compiled instructions. The framework and the organization of the PLS banking have been analyzed in forms of required committees, units, and departments tailored for this type of Non-Usury Bank (NubankCo.) definition. Abstract:
building organizations on the basis of economic-mathematical models are offered. The phenomena, related to supply and storage of materials, their production use and impact of material supply on the financial structure of capital, occurred in the enterprise, are determined by means of the analysis of the production functions of dependence of return of fixed assets on material resources, and it was also investigated how such phenomena affect the return on fixed assets. On this basis, the recommendations how to improve the management of materials supply in order to provide the fullest use of fixed assets are developed. Based on the study of the value of the coefficients of linear models of dependence of the financial indicators of the enterprise activity on the value of material stock, the price of a unit of stock, the types of stock, on which the profitability of the enterprise significantly depends are determined, and it is also defined what economic, financial, organizational and technological regularities are covered by these dependencies. An economic interpretation of such dependencies is given and the recommendations for improving stock management and the material supply structure are developed. The qualitative analysis of dependence of the financial indicators of the enterprise activity on the value of the stock and its cost is carried out. The recommendations for improving the management of the size and the price structure of the most important material stock are developed

Abstract:
The article provides a theoretical substantiation of methodological approaches to organisation of accounting, control and analysis of production stocks. The regulatory framework is evaluated and the main stages of its functioning are outlined. The main components of the accounting policy elements of production inventories have been identified. The algorithm for forming an effective organisation of production inventory accounting is outlined and tested. Based on the reliable financial statements of PJSC "Dnipro Mineral Fertilizer Plant", the presented methodology for organising accounting, control and analysis of production inventories has been tested. The basic principles of documenting operations of production stocks are studied and peculiarities in terms of inventory recording at a chemical enterprise are identified. A scheme of document flow of inventory movement has been developed. In the course of the study, a comparative analysis of judgements on determining the value of production stocks according to the national and international methods of their reflection was carried out. The main differences in the methods of valuation of inventories for their disposal are identified and characterised. It has been concluded that the valuation of inventories by the FIFO method in martial law is inappropriate. The paper assesses the accounting treatment of production inventories. The organisation of synthetic inventory accounting is described and a journal of business transactions on inventory movements for the month of the current year is formed. It has been established that the organisation of inventory accounting is carried out in accordance with the current regulatory framework and the Order "On Accounting Policy at an Enterprise". In the course of the study, certain conditions for the occurrence of irrelevant production inventories were accepted. The basis for these judgements is the analysis of accounting records on inventory movements. The mechanism for applying decision-making models under conditions of uncertainty is implemented. The analytical table was used to calculate the loss in a discrete situation. On the basis of the calculations, analytical conclusions are formulated. The effectiveness of applying the decision-making model "Minimisation of maximum regret" has been proved. The resulting model allowed to complete analytical conclusions and prove the effectiveness of the use of accounting and analytical reflection of production stocks in order to make effective management decisions.

Abstract:
PurposeThis paper aims to present a unified approach for effective capacity management, with the flexibility to position the organization across differing market‐orientations, anywhere from produce‐to‐stock to purchase‐and‐produce‐to‐order.Design/methodology/approachThe unified planning system combines capacity management with the external market through the customer order decoupling point (CODP). The approach starts by determining the CODP, using commonality and effect‐cause‐effect analysis. The resulting CODP information is then used to determine the optimal master production schedule (medium‐term), as well as the detailed schedule (short‐term) at the bottleneck resource, using mathematical programming; to support decisions across different planning horizons in an integrated fashion.FindingsThis unified approach was applied to an electronics manufacturing company in the Netherlands. The unified capacity planning system not only reduces the number of capacity problems to be solved by production planners, but also more importantly enhances the organization's capabilities to respond faster and more focused to market changes.Research limitations/implicationsFurther studies may test the robustness of this planning approach with additional empirical evidence.Practical implicationsThe structured unified approach provides a comprehensive solution to a complex capacity management problem, in competitive environments where organizations have to be able to respond to dynamically changing market conditions, given the process choices within which they are operating.Originality/valueProvides a unified approach for effective capacity management.

Abstract:
PurposeTo date, the literature has usually assumed that a universal approach to resilience is appropriate in which different resilience capabilities are equally important for all organizations independent of contextual characteristics. In contrast this study investigates if production process characteristics affect resilience capabilities in terms of redundancy, flexibility, agility and collaboration.Design/methodology/approachAn in-depth exploratory multiple case study was carried out in eight companies across different industries. Data were gathered through multiple interviews with key informants in each company.FindingsThe authors find differences in, and trade-offs between, resilience capabilities and practices related to redundancy, agility and collaboration induced by the different configurations of production system characteristics: especially between discrete and process industries. Further, a major influential characteristic is the production strategy employed (make-to-stock or make-to-order) which stresses or limits collaboration and redundancy.Originality/valueThis is one of the first studies to explore the effects of production system characteristics as a major contingency factor on the resilience capabilities of an organization. As such it provides valuable insights into the development of a more nuanced contingency approach to how organizations can build resilience and employ specific practices that fit their situation.

Abstract:
The paper presents the results of the study of the visual control system in organizations. The enterprises of various sectors of the economy are selected as an object of the research. In modern economic realities, the efficiency of the organization's activities largely depends not only on the introduction of innovations in production, but also on the structural reform of the management model. Today the issues of growth of labor productivity are actively discussed at all levels of government. These issues are a priority task for the management of various companies, regardless of area of activity. It has been proved that the application of the principles and tools of lean manufacturing, many of which do not require high implementation costs, can be used for increasing the efficiency of the organization. The importance of study of visual management tools has been emphasized; the advantages of visual management tools (reduction of losses, reduction of the production cycle, ensuring the timely delivery of stocks to warehouses, etc.) have been listed. The rules for implementation of the visual management tools in the activities of any enterprise are discussed in detail. The visual management tools should reflect the requirements for safety, production or performance any standard operation; they should be simple and unambiguous in understanding and sufficiently illustrative and noticeable from afar. There has been taken an attempt to highlight a number of universal visual management tools using the scientific principles of building the system that can be applied in the work of many organizations, regardless of type of activity and form of ownership

Abstract:
Inventory is the array of finished goods, spares, raw materials, and other substances required in the production of the finished goods and it is a major asset to a typical manufacturing company. When utilized properly, it can yield great profits for an organization and when not managed in an optimized way, it can incur big losses. There are various methods for inventory control, some of them being JIT (just in time inventory), cross-docking, and cycle counting. But these methods never yielded dividends to companies in getting control over their inventories. Therefore the need for proper inventory models to help maintain optimal stock keeping in mind the specific constraints of each company/organization is essential, say the least. This paper presents a generic version of an inventory model for raw materials, finished goods, and spares in a stock-keeping unit (SKU) where the overall stock is considered as a dependent variable and it is expressed as a function of various parameters or independent variables such as seasonality, demand and lead times ( to name a few). The model allows the prediction of inventory levels of raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts of the machinery with a very high degree of accuracy and can subject the predictive model to various sensitivity and scenario analyses thus being able to gauge the opportunities and risks involved. As a result, there will be all-around improvements in vendor performance, procurement of raw material, handling the finished goods, and spare stocks resulting in an optimized environment in the inventory.

Abstract:
Several articles attribute the inefficient financial performance of corporate organizations listed at the Exchange (NSE) in Nigeria to efficient long-term facilities. However, apart from the long-term facilities, most companies spend considerable time in decision-making regarding short-term and transient credit financing. Ineffective credit financing is instrumental to an unproductive operation of a company. Therefore, this study researched the impact of the credits on the returns on assets and equity of manufacturing firms quoted on the Stock Exchange in Nigeria. The study uses scientific materials from Google scholar and Scopus search mechanisms for qualitative framework development and secondary data from published financial statements of firms on the stock exchange. The research also captured the effects of financial leverage and opportunities on the connectivity between productivity and financing decisions of quoted companies, engaging explanatory research design and adopting an aggregate of 11 corporate organizations for evaluation. The study deployed data from online resources and company websites from 2015 and 2022. Recommendations included upgrading the accounts receivable and inventory holding period to a productive limit and keeping a sufficient cash ratio considering growth opportunities. It pointed to the leverage possibilities and the size structure in financing decisions, as credit financing decisions influence organizational performance.
