Pagliarecci, Nico. "On the understanding of the vehicle-driver interaction using the objectification of subjective assessment : application to the tire development process." Thesis, Mulhouse, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020MULH4104.
Full textThe tire is heavily involved in the performance of a vehicle. Vehicle's fuel consumption (rolling resistance, aerodynamics), noise, comfort, handling and safety are related to the tire chosen. By using objective measurements, it is possible to predict some of those features but for some others like handling we cannot really predict the subjective evaluation made by experienced test drivers. Trial/error methodology is sometimes applied to identify tire potential and to gauge the tire performance related to specific designs and mechanical characteristics.Today, in the automotive industry, the evaluation of vehicle and tire handling performance is still largely performed on a subjective basis by experienced test drivers. This is justified by the fact that customer perception of vehicle performance is also made subjectively and, no reliable relationship has been found to relate objective performance measures to the human perception of performance. An extensive literature review on the objectification of subjective assessment, the vehicle-driver interaction, the vehicle dynamics simulation and the explorative multivariate data analysis as well as statistical hypothesis testing is the first research step aimed to investigate the methodologies, the data analytics and statistical tools used by other researchers.Based on the literature review, the thesis proposes a methodology that allows to translate subjective evaluations into objective metrics (vehicle environment as well as vehicle-tire environment) enabling the prediction of the outcome of a subjective test by using objective measurements leading to a reduction of the iterations during the tire development process. The choice of the most relevant vehicle dynamics model’s complexity depicts the main tire mechanical features affecting the handling performance and their effect on the objective metrics of interest. Specific experimental vehicle dynamics maneuvers have been selected for this study with the aim of unpacking the complexity of the subjective handling assessment without being simplistic and paying attention to interconnectedness of the different variables and their interplay with contextual factors. In the frame of the above-mentioned correlation study, the role of the driver in the driver-vehicle system is investigated. The results presented show that, with the chosen methodology, it is possible to gain insights on the driver’s testing strategy identifying the main vehicle responses affecting all the stages of the subjective evaluation. To deepen and strengthen the understanding of the driver’s role, two panel studies involving professional and non-professional drivers have been carried out. Those allowed the study and analysis of the vehicle-driver interaction in terms of proprioception and vision, audio-visual influences and aftereffects in motion

Full textThis work's aim is the analysis of the innovative process and its developpment. The former is defined as a cumulative, sequential and specific process. The latter is seen as a combination of the product and process life cycle stages. In a competitive market structure, the firm takes into account the presence of rivalry when developping its innovative process. In order to analyse this effect we study the two innovation incentives : the profit-incentive ( difference between the profit before and after innovation) and the competitive threat (difference between the profit of first and second inovator). When the first one is greater, the result is a waiting game (neither firm wants to innovate first) ; When the second one prevails, the result is a race (each firm wants to innovate first)

Full textThe development of the building firm is a process of a continuous and interactive adaptation between the firm and its environment on one side and the enterprise and its projets on the other side. The thorought interaction between the firm and its environment, the control of the state of market and its potentilities of growth, the control of relationships with custmers, financial bodies and public powers, and finally the good knowledge of competitors, are all factors that guide the firm towards choosing the most profitable activities and faciltate its access to chosen projects. Nervetheless, success is not only a matter of choise of activity, its also depends on the way and manner in which retained projects are integrated and managed within the enterprise. These projectd are submitted to cost, technical performances and delays imperatives, which require, in concequence, adapted means and specifical methods of organisation and management. Large and diversified construction project make planning, coordination and control of the activity, more complex and require therefore the conceiving and establishment of a rational organisation and management system which allows us to integrate them and serve them efficiently. It is only by respecting these two conditiond that a bulding firm can accumulate success and continue its development with total confidence

Full textAs a very technical and old fashion language that makes use of terms and phrases drawn from a foreign mind frame by the craft of History, the Malagasy law speech is hardly accessible to the population, though it has been intended to him. Consequently, it is not rare that justice decisions are barely executed, or even not at all, by the receivers who just do not understand what they are supposed to do. Hence, very serious prejudices come up for him/her whose sole guilt is not to understand neither French law speech due to amadel of thought that is far away from his own, nor official Malagasy law speech mould on the French madel with a thematic structure based on a logic system which is at the straight opposite of his/her way of thinking. This work is a contribution to modernize some old fashion terms still found in the Malagasy law speech on one hand, and on the other hand to modify the structure of the justice decision texts in order to fit Malagasy people's own mind frame. This should hopefully make Malagasy law speech much more understandable for the people, and by this way, to improve their relationship with Justice, so that the institution to fully play its role of a social regulator leading to a sustainable and integral human development

Full textThe process of development in the Vakinankaratra, country located on Malagasy highlands, is based on the combination of many components. Unequality has increased because of this combination. Many reasons have emphasized the contrasts: different ecology, story, unequal repartition of the population, efficient surroundings, roads, system, crisis after 1980. However, the territorial identity of Vakinankaratra has emerged. In the frame of decentralization, the situation of cross-roads will be avalaible to propulse the region as a model in Madagascar
Linzarini, Adriano. "Développement et contrôle cognitifs : généralité et automatisation des processus inhibiteurs." Thesis, Sorbonne Paris Cité, 2017. http://www.theses.fr/2017USPCB207.
Full textThe objective of this thesis was to investigate the question of the domain-generality of inhibitory control and its automatization throughout development. This question has been approached by various experimental studies in children, adolescents and adults. Three studies have focused on the generality of control processes operating in tasks belonging to different cognitive domains. In the first study, we wanted to answer two questions related to the discrepancies found in the literature on the development of inhibitory control in affectively charged contexts. The aim of this study was to determine (a) whether cool inhibition (control processes in emotionally neutral contexts) and hot inhibition (control processes in emotionally charged contexts) follow the same developmental pattern, and (b) the degree of specificity of these two types of inhibitory control throughout development. We thus compared the performance of 10-year-olds, 13-year-olds and 21-year-olds to an emotionally neutral color-word Stroop task and an emotional Stroop task. In a second study on 9-year-old children, we tested whether the inhibitory processes involved in a classical Piagetian conservation task (i.e., logico-mathematical domain) were identical or partially identical to those involved in the resolution of the classical neuropsychological color-word Stroop task (i.e., verbal domain). In a third study, we tested on a group of 10-year-old children and a group of 20-year-old young adults the transferability of inhibitory processes between a mirror letters discrimination task (that has recently been shown to require inhibition) and a color-word Stroop task, to determine (a) whether the resolution of a conflict at an early perceptual stage of the processing stream (recognition of visual symbols) can facilitate the resolution of a conflict arising at a much later stage (semantic and motor levels), and (b) if age affects this transferability. Then we looked at the automaticity of the inhibition processes by testing whether inhibitory control can operate completely unconsciously on conflicts arising between two subliminal interfering stimuli. To this end, we designed a priming paradigm consisting of trials in which a subliminal reverse Stroop item preceded a visible Stroop item. The aim of this paradigm was to verify the presence of a conflict adaptation effect and a negative priming effect produced by the subliminal items on the visible items. These two effects are commonly reported in studies using visible stimuli and suggest a transfer of control processes from the prime to the probe. Finally, in a fifth study, we investigated whether inter-individual differences in inhibitory control are in part due to prenatal processes, based on the analysis of the sulcal pattern, considered as a qualitative feature of the cerebral anatomy that is determined during fetal life and is stable during development. Using anatomical magnetic resonance imaging, we analyzed the correlations between the performance on a color-word Stroop task and the sulcal pattern of two key regions of the inhibitory control neural network, the dorsal anterior cingulate cortex and the inferior frontal sulcus (which limits the lower frontal gyrus) in a group of 10-year-old children and in a group of 22-year-old adults. In conclusion, this thesis sheds new light on the question of the generality and the automatization of the inhibitory control processes from a developmental perspective

Full textThe optimization of the design process is a research evolving highlighted in numerous references and business practices with the aim improving and developing new products. Our approach is a continuation of those activities that takes as its starting point the diversity of existing design processes and the difficulty of achieving a selection where adaptation. Hence our problem is summarized around a central question which we formulate as follows: how to optimize the choice of the design process subject to a constrained environment? The answer to this question is through the proposition of a tool Help in choosing which converges to the installation of a design process. This tool is three-dimensional, where the first dimension relates to the preparation of the upstream design phase, the second dimension selects a design process on a map classification and the objective of the third dimension is the identification of trades tools and methods for product development. The experimental part of our work has led us to validate the developed tool and propose how to use by designers. Optimization is achieved in our work by the proposal of a three-dimensional tool side and the other by the use of optimization algorithms for modeling tool. New avenues of research for improvement are identified and proposed for future work

Full textWhen referring to the recent period (late 1980s and early 1990s), the emergence of (Ngos, local authorities, North/South cooperation programmes, association of village structures, migrant associations...) involved in promoting territorial development at the local level in the Kayes region of Mali. In the same period, the notion of sustainable development emerges on the international scene. in this perspective, many stakeholders are interested in the use of this concept as a test of public territorial development policies through institutional reforms at decentralization. The use of this concept by the various actors is a research issue in the field of social sciences. The objective of this work is: to understand the conceptual articulation of these concepts of development through sustainable development policies initiated by decentralization and decentralised cooperation programmes; to analyse how sustainable development schemes are appropriate by actors in the Kayes region. Particular attention is paid to the decision-making processes (who participates? who decides? according to what methods? on what issues? etc.) and their effects on the expectations of local people, changes in their living conditions and their citizenship

Full textSulfoproteomics term designs protein sulfation studies. It appears during the 2000’s, when the interest for others Post-Translational Modifications (PTMs) than phosphorylation and glycosylation was growing up. Even though sulfation is thought to be an important PTM, a weak number of publications has emerged about it, notably if we compare with the huge quantity of phosphorylation papers. This difference is mainly due to the difficulty to correctly analyze sulfated proteins and peptides in the classical ways of proteomics, as in mass spectrometry for example. The goal of this thesis is to develop mass spectrometry methods dedicated to the characterization of sulfated species, in order to improve the knowledge of this PTM. To do that, we have mainly used negative ion mode, which is almost never used, with two fragmentations techniques for the MS/MS spectra, which are CID and HCD. Results obtained allow us to pinpoint an analytical method allowing the differentiation between sulfation and phosphorylation (they are isobaric), based on the presence of specific ion for each PTM in MS/MS. In another part of the project, we have investigated the role of sulfation in the interaction between a cellular receptor, CXCR4, and its in vivo ligand, the chemokine SDF-1/CXCL12. We used capillary electrophoresis for this work, and it could be a good basis for future analyses using capillary electrophoresis coupled with mass spectrometry, in order to have a better characterization of the observed complexes

Full textDifferentiation of rural areas is more and more based on their societies ability to improve local development strategies. The analysis of conditions of emergence of local development process, in the department of Aveyron in south of France, shows an irregular resistance of rural communities. This is linked with the contradictory ways of territorial organization of the different actors from the local scale (elect, associations, administrations, socio-professional organizations and country planing experts) to the european scale. Local development's organization arranges the society's ability to buid up a project (symbolic experience of new action references) and its ability to enrol in a joint representation which, by the network, valorizes spatial mobility and social mobility, new forms of local development ressources. This organization rests on different systems of cooperation between actors (some are based on politic relations, others on expert relations or others on associative relations. . . ) : those different ways of cooperation traduce the principles of relations on the local political scene. The recent evolution establishes a politicization or an institutionalization and a professionalization of local development

Full textSoftware systems are becoming more and more complex. A common dilemma faced by software engineers in building complex systems is the lack of method adaptability. In the Software Engineering field, several methods have been created with advantages and drawbacks but the experience shows that existing methods are not universal and cannot answer all situations. The system evolution requires method modifications more rapid and frequent. Some researchers tried to unify metamodel. Another way explored was to take advantage of the different methods by combining their characteristics. The situational method engineering (SME) approaches focus on the in-house construction of methods for systems development which are tuned to specific situations of development projects. My work of thesis is included in this context. My main contribution aims at bringing first answers to the automatic process composition. The issues of the creation of tailored processes are the following: (i) selecting appropriate method components from a repository of reusable method components; (ii) tailoring these method components as appropriate; (iii) integrating these tailored method components to form the new situation-specific method. A first main contribution of this thesis aims at studying the ability to design process and adjust the proposed process according to the characteristics of application domain and users profile. I propose an original system called SCoRe (Self-Combined method fRagments) to automatically build a self-adaptive design process where each fragment is encapsulated in an autonomous agent. On one hand, the goal of SCoRe is to assist the designer in the choice of fragment and therefore in the definition of a process most suitable to the current situation. On the other, its goal is to react dynamically to potential modifications. A second contribution resides in the definition of criteria and methods for evaluating existing processes or processes assembled by SCoRe. The aim of these evaluations is to measure structural characteristics and performance of evaluated methods

Full textSoftware testing plays a significant role in minimizing software development costs. One of the most important trends for this goal is the use of MBT (Model-Based Testing). MBT consists on automatically generating validation tests from a personalized model describing certain functional aspects of the system under test (SUT). However, a dedicated test model must be created. This process is time and labor consuming and therefore not widely used in the industry. In our work, we present a methodology to facilitate the use of MBT in companies by using project artifacts to automatically create a test model based on the use of SUT (what we call a usage model). In our work, we focus on transforming UML sequence diagrams into a test model. This transformation will be done on the basis of the notion of context, which is the history of previous events on the SUT in order to factorize and obtain a valid usage model. This notion is very important when two events are managed differently by the SUT according to all of the previous inputs of this SUT. An academic case study modeling an ATM (Automated Teller Machine) is presented to describe the need and the associated problems. Then, our methodology is implemented to meet some requirements of the French project Clarity

Full textThe presence of antibiotics in the environment could affect biogeochemical process, such as denitrification and nitrification in sediment or/and sewage plant, due to their action against bacteria. Studies regarding the effects of environmental relevant concentration antibiotics on resident microbial communities in environment are needed. The aim of this work was therefore to investigate the effects of antibiotics on denitrification and nitrification as well as microbial communities involved in these processes in the presence of environmental and therapeutic concentrations of antibiotics. In addition, antibiotics were determined in the initials and treated sediments and biofilms in order to investigate the fate of antibiotics. Minimal inhibitory concentrations of denitrifying enrichments (MIC-E) were determined in order to investigate effects of antibiotics on the denitrifying community. The results of this work showed that environmental concentrations of antibiotics did not significantly affect denitrification and nitrification activity; however, a significant inhibition, although incomplete, was observed in the presence of therapeutic concentrations. The diversity and structure of bacterial and denitrifying communities changed upon exposure to environmental and therapeutic antibiotic concentrations. Investigation of MIC-E showed that the denitrifying community was able to adapt under high antibiotic exposure which may favor antibiotic resistance. In addition to that, determination of antibiotics concentrations in sediments and biofilms showed that antibiotics behaved differently

Full textUncertainty management is a particularly important issue for complex systems development (SD) processes. The overall objective to be attained in this context is to improve the flexibility and predictability of SD process by proposing a methodology to understand and master the uncertainties. We believe that modeling uncertainties is an indispensable step in this direction. For this purpose, the presented work in this thesis focuses on two critical issues : (1) How should we manage uncertainties in SD processes ? (2) How can we represent uncertainties in modeling such processes ? In order to answer to these questions, this thesis proposes a methodology including identification, analysis of impact, diminution and / or exploitation, and monitoring and control of uncertainties ; and it also defines an approach to modeling uncertainties with UML by proposing a meta-model of uncertainties and a new UML profile named "Uncertaintyof", which allows to make this meta-model operable with UML tools. The validity of our proposals was tested by an industrial case study, which showed that the definition of such a methodology is helpful to manage the uncertainties in systems design and development, and that the creation of a new UML profile provides a valid solution in the representation of uncertainties

Full textThe balance sheet of the action of the indonesian state through its intervention in the economy is globally positive. The macro-economic and the social indicators until the growth of the manufacturing industries are impressive, where as the socio-economic inequality is still a very important problem. In addition, the tendency of concentration of capital and the domination of economic activities by certain social groups is more and more strong, particularly after the "era of the deregulation", with out brillinant solution. Moreover, there arises the problem of the underutilization of labour force in almost all economic sectors. Despite a process of deregulation in the last decade, the omnipresence of the state has been important. With this deregulation, the private sector incresed its contribution in the economic development and its efficiency has increased. Neverthless, some indicators of the existence of the "soft state" (myrdal) have not yet disappeared, for example the problem of corruption is far from being resolved. Any way, the government of the new oreder - the longest in the history of the country - maintained the political and economic stability with indeed a political repression. But since the last few years, we can see some indicators of the process of democratization

E. , the incorporation of the 3 sustainable development dimensions (economical, social and environmental) in their strategies. This research was conducted in three phases (theoretical research, interviews with experts and four case studies), having as an objective the suggestion of a framework based on a set of propositions for the conception of a sustainable development strategy formation process in Multinational Groups. We have also adopted an abductive approach, which is, allowing regular exchange between theory and the empirical field as we advance in the research phase. As main results, the comparison between the case studies, interviews with the experts, the theoretical reference and the researcher´s inventive posture have allowed the emergence of 7 epistemic, 12 conceptuals and 16 operative propositions, which, together, make up the framework proposed here

Full textA priori, the African Union and its program for development known as NEPAD can be regarded as a prayer wheel. This, due to the impressive number of international documents adopted at the African regional level and the narrow margin of maneuver of the African Union to find lasting solutions to economic and social crises in the continent, with environmental impacts. With certain indications of realism, we cannot think otherwise. When we know that since the advent of the African Union, sustainable development has become in the texts, the guiding principle of the process of African integration. This study analyzes the efforts of the African Union for a sustainable development in Africa as well as Africa's contribution to the evolution of international law. We have evaluated the effectiveness of the norms of sustainable development in the African regional level. We proceeded in two stages. This study also analyzes how the international standards relating to sustainable development was received in the African legal order and their implementation. Beyond the prioritization of the economic and social pillars of sustainable development, we highlighted the way in which the African Union reconciles the three values of sustainable development. This study contributes to shedding some light on the African Union’s legal approach with respect to sustainable development, and to show how this concept is materializes in a particular way in Africa. It firstly analyzes the obligations which the African Union lays on itself to translate to reality, the economic and social pillars of the sustainable development, and secondly, the obligations the African Union addresses to its Member States to implement these pillars. This study is also a contribution to the understanding of the evolution of the concept of development, right to development, sustainable development, and establishes the link between law and development. This study also helps to highlight the evolution of international law, including the questioning of the notion of subjective right and the consecration of the existence of rights with no owner in Public International Law, through the concept of sustainable development.

These matrices are synthesized from metakaolin and dilute orthophosphoric acid. In order to identify the domain of stability of these matrices, their structural changes during consolidation and in temperature were analyzed by Fourier Transform and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance infrared spectroscopy as well as by X-ray diffraction, and were correlated with thermal analyzes. The objective was then to adapt the matrix formulation (consolidation temperature, [P], Al2O3 filler) to obtain a basalt fiber composite with optimal mechanical properties. Due to their poor properties, other types of oxide fibers were tested and the process parameters were adapted. Once the optimum fiber-matrix-process combination was identified, the mechanical properties of the composite were characterized at higher temperatures. The microstructure of the composites was determined by scanning electron microscopy and their mechanical properties by tensile and interlaminar shear tests

Full textA products-services system is an offer integrating products and services with the aim of bringing a strong added value to the needs of the clients. The development of such offers requires numerous capabilities, some being mastered by the company developing the offer, others being specific to the suppliers. To collaborate with them became crucial for the customer company to meet the needs of innovation, to be more reactive toward the evolution of markets and to optimize the cost, the quality and the development time of the offer. Such collaborations require to be carefully constructed, then managed, so that the development of the new offer is successful. The research project presented in this report, led during a thesis under a CIFRE contract with Schneider Electric, contributes to the implementation of successful customer-suppliers collaborations in development of products-services systems. The aim of this work was to formalize a process that would help the structuring of a collaboration, which would in turn support the teams in charge of leading collaborative projects with suppliers. The final result of our work is a co-development process integrating the managerial approach of the development of a new offer, with the relational dimension characterizing the way collaboration is lived on a daily basis. The engineered research approach has been followed in this project, which leans on seven case studies within Schneider Electric company and six others companies stemming from different branches of industry such armament, cosmetic or insurance. Numerous actors, working at the corporate level in companies and in development projects, have been mobilized in client companies as well as in suppliers companies. The co-development process we propose here is based on the life cycle of the collaboration and the life cycle of the products-services systems. On one hand, it describes the managerial activities and their sequencing, the roles and the responsibilities of functions involved in the project, and the links with the others processes of the company. This top-down approach allows understanding the customer-suppliers collaboration as a whole and to anticipate the activities to be led with the suppliers. On the other hand, this managerial approach has been enriched by the illustration of collaborative practices describing the interactions from day to day between customer and suppliers. This second approach, bottom-up type, highlights the relational dimension of the project. It characterizes the daily interactions between the participants and thus contributing to the creation of commitment and trust, to the alignment of the efforts, and to mutual learning: elements necessary to the success of the project. The originality of our work resides in the combination of these two approaches in the same process, a combination which allows understanding how the co-development of a new products-services system is performed between several companies on a daily basis

The tire is considered as an attenuating medium with several embedded gratings of cylinders. The orientation of each grating may be different but they ail constitute parallel plans. First, the calculation of the field scattered by a unidirectional grating is extended both to the case of an attenuating medium and a plane wave with an arbitrary angle of incidence. The model is used to compare the behaviors of infinite and large finite gratings. We also study a grating with a perturbation and the influence of the incidence angle. Each case is considered in a frequency range below and above the cutoff frequency where the wave field is written as a sum of several plane waves. This decomposition is then used to deal with stacks of gratings. After the decomposition into plane waves, with a shared basis, the fields calculated for each grating are joined to model the interaction between gratings. This approach is validated with a bidirectional array. Finally, experimental validations are conducted on simplified tire-like samples. Through-transmission experiments have shown the grating effects depending on the frequency and the incidence angle. The experimental transmission coefficients have finally been compared to those calculated with the model

The objective of this work is to contribute to the analysis and comprehension of the evolution of genomes. A method for predicting isochores adapted to the human genome was developed. The originality of this approach consists in identifying breaks of homogeneity in the sequences. It also consists in identifying their biological impact, such as the UTRs influence may have on the classification of genes in an isochore. This method was then applied to the genome of the tetraodon, when we discovered the existence of a new mosaic structure

Full textThe purpose of this research is to understand the social processes in the development of the company studied, through the analysis of the projects which are described as working situations built by a group whose approach is focused on a determinated target in direct connections with the company's growth. A conceptual and methodological approach is elaborated to present those evolutionary situations. The projects are thus treated as processes through links with actors' logics, types of working organizations and global regulations. Social properties of such interaction systems, which are based upon anticipation can hardly be presented without historical analysis of the construction of this company. It brings up new types of projects enhancing expertise as an essential point of the company's growth. Both the organisation and the actor's identity dynamics are strongly put together in the projects. A logic between both movements can be observed through a system of rules for the former and in the expression of action motives for the latter. The organisation of the projects finally has to be understood as a process whose evolution is determinated according to the finality types of action. By building a progressive formalization work of rules and knowledge in a situation filled with generalized uncertainties, these actors have experienced a deep difference with the stable and repetitive working situations they knew before. It is the actors' commitment in the complex regulations as well as the construction of the project's meaning which brings up values admist action. As a social experience, the project allows an identity coherence reconstitution for every actor through his distancing from the dominant legitimity

Full textUnder the effect of the growing pressure of the health insurance systems, the medicines, like other goods and services of the health market, go into an era of economic estimate. In other to respond to both the extern constraint and the intern one represented by the R&D expanses which are still high, the pharmaceutical enterprise must face the necessity to embetter its innovation aptitudes within a public health optic. Thus, its future successes depend on its renewed ability of access and management of new knowledge, a real integration of research progress and the dynamism of small enterprises added to the power of the great industrial groups appears here with a certain sharpness (acuteness). The economic questions which should be solved in this particular field are numerous, complicated and as urgent as the necessity to obtain the product is fundamental. It should be taken into account the game that is being established between the different protagonists, by identifying the nature, and the constraint in human resources, further to the question concerning the financial constraint role. The aim of this thesis is to clarify these questions in abeyance with the unrolling of the process of the development of the results that came from research

Full textWe have got onto the spatial disparities while studying the processes of development of the proximity cross-border spaces. While grounding on the concepts of space, territory and, as a result, of limit (or border), we elaborated two parts therefore. A theoretical part, handling of the place of internal borders (in this case those of the European Union). We have then theorized this problem which is very rarely developed in economy. We have then used spatial economy, regional economy (especially its territorial aspect), and geographical economy. In an empiric part, we studied several European cross-border spaces. Finally, we treated the French-Italian-Monacan space thanks to different mathematical methods : one method in terms of spatial dissimilarity, and a multicriteria aid decision method (ELECTRE II). From there, a map has been produced and various suggestions of political action have been put forward

Full textAfter the Second World War, South Korea appeared as an essentially rural country, traditionally attached to the land and to rice-cultivation practiced according to ancestral techniques. Less than half a century later, South Korea underwent an important economic growth. Towns spread out in all directions. Industrialization and the services lure more and more immigrants from the countryside, the peasants have been freed from their agricultural work thanks to mechanization. This rapid evolution and the planned economy of the various governments converted, within thirty years, an underdeveloped country into a modern industrialized country using sophisticated cultural techniques. The goals of the peasants, the land occupancy, the landscapes and the social structures have all been upset. One of the key elements of this important restructuration of the Korean countryside was the movement of "new villages" - the saemaul undong - put into effect and developed by President Park since 1971. Although this movement was ideological, it led the peasants to a rural development adapted to the potentialities of each village. In its project of restructuration, the movement was supported by the development office which brought its technical assistance and by the agricultural cooperative which financed South Korea’s rural modernization. Thus the development of South Korean countryside was less the result of a single policy than that of 3 organizations that knew how to work hand in hand at a given moment. The political and social context of the period was just as important for the success of rural development policy. Today, south-Korea countryside has come out of its predicament, but farmers have to face new difficulties. Even if their vitality is particularly strong, they still worry about their future and the consequences resulting from the negotiations of the Uruguay round. Hence, South Korean producers of today must no longer think only in terms of local market, but of exportations - let us hope that the producers' overdebt will be no obstacle to this new attempt to restructure South Korea countryside and that the rural world will lose nothing of its wealth or diversity

Full textSubject : Implementation and evaluation of a systemic approach in a developing educational process : an "introduction to music" class for infants. Theories : This educational project is interpreted and justified by : The General System Theory (Bertalanffy, L. , von, 1968); l'Entrée dans la pédagogie par les objectifs (Education objectives) (Hameline, D. , 1979; 1983) et le Contrat pédagogique (Pedagogic contract)(Burguière, E. & al. , 1987); The Child's intellectual development Theory (Piaget, J. , "The psychology of intelligence", 1950, original 1947; Ecole de Genève). Author's position : empirical, because she also assumes the role of a practitioner and decision-marker in the daily operation of a system which is undergoing a transformation; systemic, because the complexity of the educational situation should be defined within a systemic model, a model which may take into account the socio-educational entity (all the different simultaneous and non-linear equations); constructive, because this form of teaching calls on activating, internalising and reconstructing the knowledge put to use by its players. Consequences : The author may therefore distinguish and describe the teaching conditions adapted to the equation of each child (active/reactive element of the developing system) by establishing models of the relationships between the child and the system, their systemic interpretations and analyses. She may then deal with the global structuring of the content of apprenticeships, compare them with a constructive ordinal scale (Piaget, 1969; Flavell 1971) and proceed with constructing series of adjustable lessons also meeting the requirements of moving into teaching through objectives. Full textThis thesis focuses on the integration of stakeholders in the implementation of sustainable environmental strategy. It presents the contributions and constraints of the literature on the notion of sustainable development within the company and its managerial variation: i. E. The stakeholders approach. This approach emphasizes the classification of stakeholders, but remains silent as to how this integration in the process of environmental development strategy takes place. We’ve resorted the theory of translation as an extension of stakeholder theory in order to be able to follow the process from the point of view of process (phases) as well as in terms of variables of Incorporation (stakeholders). To solve the problem, the first stage of empirical research is a qualitative exploratory study conducted within twenty five companies and five institutions operating on behalf of sustainable development. The second step will be a detailed analysis of five case studies, which have helped to refine the model proposed in the scoping study. Following this theoretical and empirical work, we propose a mapping of the deployment process of regarding the environmental development strategy taking into account the roles of stakeholders. We’ve also show that the process of deploying an environmental development strategy is reached through the integration of stakeholders, and the role played by each one of these in the process

Full textThe question influencing our research is that of knowing whether algerian public works, as they are structured and organised up to now, represent the practical application of the socio-economic policy of the state. Our thesis has been dealt with in two parts. The object of the first part is to demonstrate the progress and formation of this department of the state and it's most active element, which is public enterprise. We have analysed the two first empiric forms of enterprise notably national society and national enterprise. The object of the second part is to draw attention to and to analyse the model of algerian growth stemming from the economic and social policy of the state and the multiform functions carried out by the companies. This is why public enterprise, since it is an instrument for the application of the economic and social policies of the state, finds itself confronted by various problems which impede it's projects for expansion. In conclusion, we have tried to show that public enterprise must change direction. It should be concerned less by social obligations and much more, with the encouragement of management and profits
Thomas, Gérard. "De « l’urbanisme agricole » à l’agriurbanisme : un processus exploratoire pour un développement urbain durable." Thesis, Bordeaux 3, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020BOR30026.
Full textThis research, undertaken by a professional urban planner, aims to explore already implemented regional planning methods, to analyze the forms and conditions of the convergence of public policies in the fields of urban planning and agriculture, to identify the tools available to local decision makers to achieve this convergence, resulting in sustainable development objectives set by the authority. The separate management of agricultural and urban spaces has contributed to the loss of the historical link of interdependence and complementarity, which has long defined the relationship between cities and countryside. With the existence of a limited effectiveness of planning documents to reduce the consumption of agricultural space, the problem to be managed is that of maintaining agriculture as it competes with other uses. By analyzing the regional impacts (both environmental and socio-economic) of existing public policies regarding agriculture and urban planning, this research aims to question the professional work practices, the concepts and existing urban planning methods. The research hypothesis posits the need to consider the construction of an agri-urban actionable framework, which integrates all interaction between agriculture, the city and nature, to discover new methods which will allow the integration of “agriurbanisme” into public action. This hypothesis integrates all previous studies, which include a diversity of personal experience, past and present, of the urban planner/researcher as well as specific project research experience (e.g. urban community of Bassin Brive in Corrèze). This endeavor aims to comprehend the conditions of the transition from an agricultural misconception of urban planning to the construction of an actionable framework and, ultimately to the implementation of an operational “agriurbanism” model. This shift from an agri-urban perspective to operational agri-planning questions the practices of urban planning professionals, challenges not only local politicians in their governance methods but civilians as well (particularly in agricultural areas), invites both transdisciplinarity and controversy resulting in economical space management or agricultural land preservation. As for the complex relationship of the city with it’s natural and living surroundings, the agri-urban interdependencies are challenged to define a new developmental approach more favorable to the needs of regional sustainable development

Full textThe relation between agriculture and industry consistute one of critic points in the process of economic development. The set up of these articulations is one of obligatory passing ways in the development. The transformation of society in under-developped countries is necessarily accompanied by agriculture while the agriculture caracterizes almost their economies. This kind of modification of agriculural sector is sharply related with that of industry. As a matter of fact, the major purpose of this thesis is oriented in order to analyse the growing dialectical interaction between these two sectors. This would be surely a fondamental aspect permitting better comprehention of the mecanisms which bring out the process of development in the country

Based upon an operational semantics that makes sure that quantum abjects, operations and communications operate according ta the postulates of quantum mechanics, an equivalence has been defined among process states considered as having the same behaviour

Full textMany neurophysiological theories of sensory experience assume that experience is mysteriously generated by specific cortical mechanisms. Other approaches claim that data on sensory experience can be explained from the structure of the rules governing sensory changes produced by various motor actions. The goal of this thesis is to develop a mathematical framework enabling to grasp symetry properties of such rules. In the case of a simplified perceptual system, we show that such an approach leads to distinguish categories of perceptual contexts, and changes of such contexts that coincide with various data on sensory experience, notably on spatiality sensation and the structure of our judgments on color similarities

Full textThe objective of this study is to explain economic growth as a process consisting of profit-seeking and uncertainty-bearing decisions and actions leading to a greater yield of market valuable utilities out of a proportionally lesser use of market valuable utilities. Given the fact that mainstream Neoclassical modern growth theory consists in the mathematical model-building of given results or data, it becomes necessary to take recourse to an alternative approach to explain economic growth as a process and not as mere results. This study thus adopts a praxeological approach, which deduces economic growth as an entrepreneurial process from the axiom of human action. In this manner, the objective of this study becomes threefold. First, it shall be shown from which roots sprout the entrepreneurial approach to economic growth—roots that have been neglected by the mainstream modern growth theory. Next, an exposition and a critical analysis of the main theories within the mainstream growth theory will be made in order to demonstrate its result analysis nature, and its shortcomings to explain the economic growth process. Finally, this study will propose a process analysis of entrepreneurial economic growth, mostly based on the praxeological framework of economic analysis
