Roux, Louise. "Les utopies pragmatiques : étude du "collectif" théâtral à partir de trois processus de création du XXIème siècle : Collectif F 71, D'ores et déjà, Spectacle-Laboratoire." Electronic Thesis or Diss., Paris 8, 2015. http://www.theses.fr/2015PA080016.
From the comparative study of tree dramatic creation processes - D’ores et déjà, Collectif F71 and Spectacle-laboratoire – this thesis try to understand the concept of “collective” at ideological and esthetical levels, as it been developed in the French public theatre between 2003 and 2014. We show that the collectives, discovering that marge has disappeared in capitalistic organization of cultural economy and without concrete program for the “new man” to propose, focused their resistance in their creation processes, political because collective. They’ve accomplished works in tune with complexity of theirs time, realizing an “open work” - as defying Umberto Eco - in representation itself. Anchored in real, polyphonic, experimental, non-closed and perpetually moving, this work induce a democratic conception of audiences’ activity and reactive some of the sixties’ collective creations’ discoveries. This idea of theatre as realization by the collective of the “open work” in the representation is a pragmatic utopia. Picture of part of society’s ideology, searching of sense and action, the pragmatic utopia allows a renewal of theatrical esthetic and a revitalization of the public theatre: a contemporary and avant-gardist way to revive the “artistic theater” as “exclusive theatre for everyone”

Thesis, Paris Sciences et Lettres (ComUE), 2018. http://www.theses.fr/2018PSLED043.
This research provides an empirical contribution to the understanding of entrepreneurial pathways. It leads to a renewed reading of processes in a critical approach to entrepreneurship. A biographical approach, based on "narratives of life", helps to illuminate the complexity and heterogeneity of entrepreneurial dynamics, beyond the strict search for economic rationality. This work confirms the usefulness of the Entrepreneuring concept, as an intrinsically emancipatory process promoting the transformation of social, economic, institutional or societal environments. In order to understand the complexity of these dynamics, we will introduce a framework of historical analysis that takes into account broader stakeholders (family or non-family), committed to long time. What we will call, in this thesis, collective and transgenerational entrepreneurial careers

This study takes place within the context of the Remote Networked School initiative, which began in 2002 to enrich the learning environment of small rural schools through a variety of means, including the use of Knowledge Forum (KF) to support the collective written discourse of students. Our focus is on a new feature of Knowledge Forum, called IPROM. This study is primarily interested in the students’ use of the tool as they select promising ideas. Special attention is given to students' understanding of the tool as a knowledge building affordance and to the teachers' perceptions of the tool's effectiveness. Our results show that as they used the IPROM tool, students increased the level of complexity of the questions they asked as well as improved the explanations they provided. We foresee several pedagogical implications likely to encourage knowledge building as a classroom process supported by this new tool.
Delsart, Fabrice. "Diagnostic collectif dans la conduite de processus industriel : coopération et ergonomie des systèmes homme-homme et homme-machine." Paris 8, 1995. http://www.theses.fr/1995PA081062.
With an ergonomic objective, particularly in order to design a computerised diagnosis aid, we describe the cooperation of operators in charge of driving an industrial process (blast furnace). Three components of cooperation are important, they are the distribution activity, adjustment of representations, and using representations of the partner. They improve the performance and efficiency of diagnosis reached by pairs of operators in comparison with the results obtained by single operators. On this basis recommendations are proposed to integrate man-machine cooperation in designing computerised aide

This study is a general reflexion about the effects on German post-war society of the sense of culpability generated by the third Reich. The first part is an interrogation about the notion of collective mourning process. It insists on the dynamic dimension of the compromise of memory as opposed to the conception of memory elaborated by Maurice Halbwachs. The objective is to develop a non-metaphoric theory of the articulation between individual memories and collective memory and to examine thoroughly the process by which individual mournings are aggregated into collective mourning. The second part is more historical. It gives the outlines of the organization of the German collective mourning process immediately after the war ("denazification") and compares the mourning policies in the two German states. The third part is an analysis of the intergenerational dimension of this mourning process. It studies the conflicts between generation and the legacy of culpability in west-German society. The last part of the study is centered on some remarkable forms of the German mourning process among the "heirs" : terrorism, a specific form of antisionism, ecological commitment and feminism
Parise, Robert. "Les processus d'appropriation de l'outil : hypotheses sur le role du collectif de travail (cas d'outils d'ingenierie de conception)." Toulouse 2, 1997. http://www.theses.fr/1997TOU20087.
The big issue in every politics of industrial development is the ability to manage with the installation of new technologies and with the consequences of their appropriation by their users. The installation of simulation tools in aeronautics, the reorganisation of operations and the development of new engineering techniques of design in the aerospace show that (1) these problems point out to the change of operations habits; (2) these problems cannot be approached as a pure man-machine interaction issue, but within a working group. The bases of the "tool appropriation model" are therefore taken up to find out the criteria of understanding and optimisation of the tool appropriation within a working group. The analysis of two situations dealing with the shared design supported by computers, both industrial and experimental, constitutes a new framework of investigation. The analysis results show that the working group determines how the tool will be exploited. Moreover, the homogeneity of the group will affect how it will deal with difficulties in the exploitation of the tool. While homogenous working groups reinforce conflicts problems and adjust blockings, hetergeneous ones behave appositely. We also propose a set of intervention tools and references aimed at anticipating the different actions undertaken by the working group and the consequent unbalanced cognitive processes
Ininou, Yassine. "La sélection des idées : processus mixte." Thesis, Normandie, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020NORMC027.
This thesis examines how creative ideas are selected in an industrial company. This research has two main objectives: the first is to explore the selection of ideas in the two logics of innovation incremental and radical. The second aims to analyze the argumentative interactions between the actors involved in the final decision making during the deliberation phase. It is based on a unique and exploratory empirical study in Bosch MoP. The results of this study indicate, for both types of ideas, the different components of the selection process, the actors involved as well as the organizational levels involved. The argumentative approach indicates the nature of the interactions exchanged between actors and the main dimensions on which the collective decision to accept or abandon a creative idea is built

The purpose of this thesis is to understand what makes the continuity of a collective innovation process. It is based upon three theorical fields : the innovation process theories (like the Actor Network Theory, the CK Design theory), theories that describe innovators aggregations (seen as networks or as communities) and Process Analysis, recently developed in the LEST laboratory, which proposes a set of concepts that can be used to describe and understand the temporal developing of social processes. Our research is empirically grounded in the case study of a European collaborative project in the electronic field. This case was followed during a participative observation during four years. Then, the collective data was coded for an explanatory interpretation. This work allows us to propose the following thesis : what explains the temporal continuity of an innovation process, its remanence to change, its ability to overcome obstacles, is the existence of a vehicle that holds the process. This vehicle is an assembling of social ingredients. These ingredients are of various types : individuals, organisations, technical tools, inscriptions, etc. This vehicle is changing due to motors effects. It allows a reasoning deployment because it's temporal coupling with past. We illustrate this theory using the metaphor of the Chistopher Colombus explanatory voyage. Finally, this thesis brings new proposals to existing theories describing collective innovation process, due to the fact that the vehicle theory restores the dialogue between the cognitive and the social sides of the innovation process. It also allows us to propose managerial recommendations dedicated to the innovation practitioners and to institutions in charge of implementing supportive policies for innovation

The concept of ecosystem imported by Moore (1993) in strategy is increasingly used by practitioners and explored by researchers both theoretically and empirically. Conceived in this work as "a community of hierarchically independent, yet interdependent, heterogeneous participants who collectively generate an ecosystem outcome", the organizations involved face specific strategic issues, e.g. positioning in the structure, management of bottlenecks. During the renewal phase, organizations try, for example, to define the Value Proposition and to capture the value activated by the resulting innovation. Our literature review shows that the renewal phase is little investigated empirically and that, in general, the strategic issues are approached according to a functionalist approach or according to a voluntarist approach centered on a focal organization. In order to take relational dynamics into account, we ask the following question: “What are the individual processes and the collective organizational processes implemented during an attempt to renew an ecosystem? ". We answer this question with a single longitudinal case study with embedded units. We observe the failure of an attempted renewal project of an ESI. Data is collected continuously for more than three years using intervention and observation tactics. The analysis is carried out by means of a thematic coding based on an adaptation of the Gioia method. The results show that the organizations involved seek to limit changes in their own Business Models (BM hereafter) and, with regard to the need for BM matching, also seek to minimize changes in the partners' BM. The economic model thus proves to be structuring for the renewal of the ecosystem. The ecosystem we are studying is subject to a legal monopoly for the distribution network management activity. We observe that this situation gives significant power to the organization that benefits from it even though it does not own this network. We contribute to the literature on ecosystems by showing that the renewal of an ecosystem cannot take place in the absence of agreement on its new structure. We show the challenge for members to master the definition of PV and the governance of the ecosystem. We show the presence of a bottleneck creation strategy that does not only concern the technical aspects. We bring together the literature of ecosystems with that of BMs. The BM gives meaning to organizational and inter-organizational behaviors and specifies the parts of the environment with which an organization enters into a relationship. We observe that without pairing the BMs concerned, innovation cannot be introduced and the ecosystem cannot be renewed. We also conclude that the activity of Business Model Innovation (BMI hereafter) is a business activity. On the managerial level, we underline the necessary reassessment by the State of the legal structuring of an ecosystem with regard to new goals. We also provide managers with a tool and an approach to enable them to decide in an ecosystemic universe

For the past ten years or so, the implementation of major projects of general interest (LGV, dam, airport, radioactive waste storage center) has faced a risk of a new kind of contestation. The Large Useless and Imposed Projects movement manages to federate environmentalist and anti-globalization oppositions in order to question the definition of the general interest or public utility carried by the contested projects. Far from being just an obstacle to public decision-making, they question how stable and coherent collective choices can be formed based on a necessarily evolving and contingent definition of the general interest. To answer this question, we rely on the study of a conflictual case which has for more than 30 years been opposed by promoters and opponents to a project for an industrial center for the storage of French highly radioactive waste. This case will be studied using a theoretical reading grid which mainly mobilizes the work of François Perroux on power and information. In fine, we show that collective choices are the net result of information power relations between groups of unequal agents who evolve within a constantly evolving social system

The transportation of goods is a key position in the French economy. The transport operator plans the rounds and the truck driver goes these rounds. There is a mutual interdependence in their work. These operators can be faced with several occupational risks: physical, psychosocial…Regarding their health prevention, questions are strategic. This doctoral thesis aims to consider the question of operator’s health with regard to their collective activity. The objective is to understand the origins of operator’s collective activity on professional and physical distance. The effects of collective activity on the health will be analysed from the social support. The proposed method consists on an ergonomic approach of activity with field observations and oral agreements. There are three studies case in which levels of professional and physical distances differ. The first study case characterized the collective activity, the coordination process and social support on operators faced with strong professional distance and small and strong physical distance. The second study case is on the same approach than the first but this time operators are faced with small professional distance. Lastly, the third study case emphasizes the connections between coordination and social support on operator’s collective activity with strong professional and physical distance. The main results indicate that all forms and levels of distance affect collective activity differently. Indeed, we can note that there is a link between collective actions and physical distance on operators with a strong professional distance. However, these links on operators with a small professional distance are absent. Otherwise, social support represents mostly a resource for the operators in these three studies. Nevertheless, it appears to be a constraint on particular work situation

How did the agadir (fortified and collective granary) of the Atlas mountains survive "modernity" when everywhere else in the Maghreb, it disappeared? This research which is grounded in a extensive and long term investigation of 300 agadir-s in the High Atlas and the Anti Atlas aims to update the colonial data. The argument is that agadir is a sacred institution in which the identity of the extended community is reaffirmed through a renewed oath of allegiance (and) in the form of a regular gift offering the the important regional saints in the large Pre-Saharan zawiyas (Imi n'Tatelt, Tamegrout, Tazer walt, Timggilsht). The granary as a store is central to this [zawiya-granary] system, described here for the first time, because it allows the circulation of part of the food produced in the region. Thus circulation of gifts appears as total prestations in a system based on baraka. This is shown both in the case of the Ayt Ubial network (SIRWA), and the tribes united around the Imi n'Tatelt zawiya (Eastern Anti Atlas). Yet, rules evolves, polarized distinctively by two institution-thing : religion and heritage, through phenomena of rupture, erasure of memory and rewriting of individual and collective pratices

This research project aimed to study the modalities of professional development of nursing teachers involved in collective work. The goal of the study is to characterize the conceptualization processes underlying individual activities which are articulated within a group. The main hypothesis is that development of professional competencies may result from social interactions between teachers. The modification of professional competencies was evidenced : 1) by the identification of the teachers' individual operational model which organizes their activity, 2) by their shared cognitive model. The experimental protocol established crossed self-confrontations between two groups of teachers and compared their conceptualizations in two work situations. The methods focuses on a critical task, in nursing studies program, called "individual interview of pedagogical supervision". The purpose of such interviews is to develop the reflexivity of the nurse student about his or her formation and to improve the control of his or her own activity as a future professional. The results showed a professional development in four, of five studied teachers. 1) There is an extension of the teachers' professional environment used to lead their activity. This extension developed interconnections between fields either close or distant from the task. 2) The teachers' individual operational model demonstrates an enhancement of metacognitive and collective processes which are used in the constructive part of their activity in highly dynamic situations. Moreover, the shared cognitive model deducted from the individual operational model seems to reflect an important collective work within the teacher group

This research aims to consider the interrelation between "situations of action", "methodologies" and "conceptual frameworks" in ergonomics, and to answer the following question : how does the ergonomist, including the searcher, manage the constraints and resources of the situation and adjust his own conceptual and methodological frameworks to them. The thesis is based on the analysis of two working situations in a nuclear power plant: the operation activity and the preparation of instructions for materials, prior to and during the annually refuelling outage. This research also tries to prove that the ergonomist cannot avoid the flow of social interactions generated by the actors of the system to which he himself belongs; this is outlined in the ergonomic work analysis as well as in the operation activity at a more integrated level. The question results in a problematic still partly unregarded in ergonomics, i. E. The relationship between observation and analysis, in relation with the ergonomist's commitment. It seems that this epistemological question has to be considered in terms of the relation between ergonomic work analysis (ewa) for practice and ewa for knowledge-production. The contribution and limits of the conceptual and methodological tools usually used in ergonomics are discussed in the light of these two reference situations and the feasibility of importation and application of concepts from linguistic pragmatics is considered

In our intervention research we investigate the making of prescription, that is, the organization of a design process of prescriptive documents used, in particular, for nuclear power plants. This project is part of a constructive approach to ergonomics.Building of an organizational diagnosis leads to characterize the studied process, transversal collective work it involves, and to develop specific tools for intervention. We implement a participatory design approach in order to design an experimental methodology which supports the organization of a transversal organizational. This experimentation refers to “the square” of the making of prescription. This leads to two main results: the development of a transversal collective work between participants involved, and the highlighting of a lack of subsidiarity within the studied organization.Design and experimentation of the methodology analysis contribute to produce knowledge about enabling ergonomics intervention: on the participatory design of the methodology itself, and on the enhancement of the role of social elaboration of an ergonomics intervention

"Le conflit et l’action collective comme une expérience de citoyenneté : anthropologie des processus de construction de citoyenneté dans les conflits environnementaux au Chili : le cas CELCO (Mehuín et Valdivia)." Electronic Thesis or Diss., Paris, EHESS, 2021. http://www.theses.fr/2021EHES0014.
This thesis explores the relationship between environmental conflicts and the issue of citizenship, at different scales and temporalities. From an anthropological approach, this thesis aims at the empirical capture of citizenship processes in action in two cases of environmental conflicts that take place in the city of Valdivia and in the coastal town of Mehuín, in southern Chile, due to the construction and commissioning of a cellulose factory. By taking up the historicity of conflicts, as well as the ruptures they have gone through, this thesis focuses on analyzing the way in which different forms of citizenship have been made, evolved and transformed during the conflicts. In this research, the constructions of citizenship are played out in at least three areas of analysis, which at the same time account for the different levels, places and moments of the conflicts in which they take shape. In this way, the analysis will pay special attention to the citizenship registers or “legitimacy registers” (Fourniau, 1996; Carrel, 2007) mobilized by the actors involved to strengthen their position in the conflict and undertake the defense of the sites. Second, this research focuses on analyzing the constructions of citizenship identified in the field of the forms of action and organization established by the collectives in the context of the protest. The third and final area of analysis of citizenships that emerge during conflicts is that of collective engagement. The research raises here the question of “engagement trajectories” (Bertheleu and Neveu, 2005; Douat et al. 2012), that is, to now how collective engagement is built and evolves during the conflicts. This thesis thus seeks to contribute to the understanding of the fabric of citizenship, or of “moving citizenships”, as well as the role played by environmental conflicts in the democratic construction in Chile

The work carried out during this thesis aims at the magnetic and structural characterization of ultra-dense arrays of single crystalline cobalt hcp nanowires with the c axis parallel to the wires axis. These arrays are obtained by a physicochemical method called hybrid growth. The resulting nanomaterial is an array of vertical Co nanowires epitaxially grown on a platinum film, with diameters of 6 to 15 nm and coated with organic ligands. The crystallinity of the nanowires induces a strong anisotropy perpendicular to the substrate, giving rise to physical properties that could meet the specifications to constitute high density magnetic media. The manuscript is organized in four parts. First, a review of the literature describing the behavior of isolated magnetic nano-cylinders and dense arrays of nano-cylinders is presented. The magnetometry method used to characterize these arrays is called the FORC (First Order Reversal Curves) method. This measurement and analysis lead to the plot of FORC diagrams which contain the magnetic properties of nanowires and their interactions. The reading of these FORC diagrams being undirect, the chapter II is devoted to the description of the FORC method applied to assemblies of hysterons. Because of its reproducibility, the physico-chemical synthesis is a critical point of this study which is detailed in Chapter III. FORC magnetometry applied to two families of synthesized samples is described in Chapter IV. This investigation has required numerous micromagnetic simulations to support the assumptions made in the interpretation of FORC diagrams. This deep analysis reveals a first family in very good agreement with the theoretical models exposed in chapter I, and a second family for which the precise description requires the addition of a magnetizing interaction between nanowires in addition to the magnetostatic one

This PhD dissertation combines the approaches of economic sociology and sociology of knowledge in order to analyze the social mechanisms underlying the conversion into organic farming. Based on an empirical study and analysis of a complete social network describing the interdependencies among over 60 wine producers certified in organic farming or in the process of getting the official certification in French Côte de Beaune, this research analyzes the collective learning process on which this transition relies. The thesis proves the existence of two types of learning process, which are defined by the social borders of reference groups (or social niches); it analyzes the key role of pioneers of the social milieu in both learning processes and studies the regularities structuring social exchanges. These regularities allow us to confirm that wine producers take into account in their reasoning both the identity aspect related to their conversion to organic farming and their economic position, in a trend towards “coopetition”

This research is the continuity of the Master’s work undertaken in this University and moreover of a dissertation defended in 2009 entitled « From Theatre from Text to Text fromTheatre ; dramaturgy and collectivity ». The aim is to question the dichotomy between the text and the stage as well as the generally binary thinking behind it. In order to do so we will inquire into the different pre-established concepts of dramaturgy and their evolution, and the changes in the functions and position of the dramaturge in contemporary theatre. The definition/suggestion of the terms dramaturgism and dramaturgist, in both contexts of theatrical institution and stage creation, will help better distinguish these ideas that we shall place in the perspective of new dramaturgical concepts as well as new paradigms of relationships within theatre companies in the past 20 years. The terms « composition »,« counterpoint » and « cartography » shall help us to understand these new dramaturgical territories. The aim is to identify, analyze and compare the structural and organizational processes (notably collective creation and specifically the collaborative process, as it emerged in Brazil in the second half of the 90’s) of a few theatre companies that (against thecurrent of the last twenty years) have veered away from pre-existing dramaturgical text and the idea of a theatrical author regarded as such, and have constructed their own unique dramaturgy from improvisation, immediate research within the space and the collective work. Dramaturgy is thus given a « third meaning » that needs to be defined and theorized with specific examples and extensive research with directors, dramaturges and actors who practice this present, plural and continuously renewed writing. What space is this where « the invention of writing » can exist free from binary thinking or « dictatorship of meaning » ? To what extent can these new processes redo or undo the dichotomous pair : text and stage ?

The Polya urn is the paradigmatic example of a reinforced stochastic process. It leads to a random (non degenerated) almost sure (a.s.) time-limit.The Friedman urn is a natural generalization whose a.s. time-limit is not random anymore. Many stochastic models for applications are based on reinforced processes, like urns with their use in adaptive design for clinical trials or economy, stochastic algorithms with their use in non parametric estimation or optimisation. In this work, in the stream of previous recent works, we introduce a new family of (finite) systems of reinforced stochastic processes, interacting through an additional collective reinforcement of mean field type. The two reinforcement rules strengths (one componentwise, one collective) are tuned through (possibly) different rates. In the case the reinforcement rates are like 1/n, these reinforcements are of Polya or Friedman type as in urn contexts and may thus lead to limits which may be random or not. We state two kind of mathematical results. Different parameter regimes needs to be considered: type of reinforcement rule (Polya/Friedman), strength of the reinforcement. We study the time-asymptotics and prove that a.s. convergence always holds. Moreover all the components share the same time-limit (synchronization). The nature of the limit (random/deterministic) according to the parameters' regime is considered. We then study fluctuations by proving central limit theorems. Scaling coefficients vary according to the regime considered. This gives insights into the different rates of convergence
