Abstract:
In contemporary business environment, business excellence is an inevitable condition for the long-term survival, growth and development of an enterprise. Business Excellence implies permanent improvement of all business processes and activities, which ultimately contributes to improvement of long-term and sustainable enterprise effectiveness and creation of value for all stakeholders. Hence, the paper discusses the concept of business excellence and possibilities of application of the model of business excellence in order to define metrics and self-assessment of business processes and activities. The enterprise inevitably implements innovations in business, but the question is whether the innovations are economically justified or not. The aim of the paper is to highlight the significance of self-assessment in the enterprise and the role of the EFQM business excellence model in the analysis of efficiency and effectiveness of the applied innovations. The research results prove that it is possible to apply the EFQM model in the process of self-assessment of business process performances before and after the application of innovations. Practical contribution of the research is reflected in the development and application of authorial database model and suggesting the solution for self-assessment based on EFQM 2013 methodology.

Abstract:
Regardless of the trend of using the patient-centred approach in (in)fertility clinics, there has been no research on satisfaction with medical staff care in Serbia yet. Accordingly, the main aim of this study is to examine the metric characteristics of the first quantitative instrument for measuring satisfaction with this type of support in Serbia - the Medical Support Assessment Questionnaire. A total of 87 women, currently facing the problem of infertility, participated in the study. The reliability of the Questionnaire is high and amounts to .96, expressed through the Kronbach's Alpha coefficient.. Using the Principal Components Method, the one-factor solution is obtained. An additional aim of the study is to examine satisfaction levels with different aspects of support. The best rated aspect of the medical staff support refers to technical skills and competencies for treatment implementation, while the worst rated aspects include emotional support by the medical staff and patient education about the emotional effects of treatment. Furthermore, the results indicate that there is no statistically significant difference in these estimates depending on the length of infertility or age of participants. The findings show that medical staff is still focused on the medical aspects of the treatment and its effectiveness instead of focusing on a holistic, patient-centred approach. These open up the space for working on integrating a holistic approach into fertility clinics in Serbia. In addition, the results highlight the importance of having an effective and reliable instrument for measuring satisfaction with medical support for the purposes of monitoring and improving the ART clinics service.

Abstract:
The research has been originated based on the persuasive applications of Lasers in the field of various engineering industries, i.e., Aerospace, Automobile, Electronic and Heavy manufacturing industries to machine a variety of metals and alloys. Out of all the machining processes available, Laser Beam Machining is considered to be the best one, because of the following advantages, i.e., quick material removal, non-contact, non-wearing tool, involves highly localized heat input to the work piece, reduces distortion, and offers no tool wear, diminishes tendency of cracking. The present paper focused mainly on developing the empirical relationships between the input process parameters and the output responses in Laser beam cutting process. Laser power, Cutting Speed, Gas pressure and Focal distance are the input process parameters. The output responses considered are related to the quality of cut. Surface roughness is the first output responses considered and the second one is Burr height. Total number of experiments carried out is 27 based on the Taguchi Design of Experiments. Haste alloy C276 is the work material. Response Surface Methodology is applied for the Experimental data of 31 samples to derive the empirical relationships. Later ANOVA analysis is also carried out to check the adequacy of the derived equations. Based on the ANOVA analysis, the models are classified as significant or not significant. Further the significant models can be used for optimizing the Laser beam cutting process. Once the process is optimized, it can be automated, so that the process can be run very efficiently and economically.

Abstract:
This paper's primary focus moves around influence of VMRO DPMNE's (The Internal North Macedonian Revolutionary Organization-Democratic Party for North Macedonian National Unity; hereinafter: VMRO-DMNE) alteration of political strategy on the process of Europeanization and does that influence on Europeanization also mean that there is influence on democratization as well, or there is no potential causal relation. The aim is to define what Europeanization means by demystification of the Union's role in democratization of North Macedonia through the European Union's (hereinafter: EU) member state building alongside with definition of the term democratization. Thereupon observation of North Macedonian transition in this paper will move around two waves of Europeanization set through timeframes. First wave took place from 1991 to 2006 and second from 2007 until now (still ongoing). Theoretical background deliberated by prominent authors proved causative connection between the processes of democratization and Europeanization in North Macedonia alongside with results from analysis of the two waves of Europeanization that proved that VMRO-DPMNE's alteration of political strategy from Europeanization narrative to ethno-nationalistic one has contributed to negative democratization trajectory of North Macedonia since 2007.

Abstract:
It is very important for science education to have perfectly prepared aids that could show invisible phenomena and could foster deeper motivation. Also, visualization as a learning and teaching tool could stimulate the perception. This leads to the opinion that represented objects could be shown in the classroom as essential part of education and its organization. Visualization in science as an essential teaching/learning tool has become of great importance nowadays because the technological progress is raising high require-ments for education. Problem question – whether computer based visualization stimulates cognitive process-es and what exact processes it activate? Research methods: analysis of information resources, questioning, qualitative method. Research methodology: model of genetic structural intellect, the theory of dual code, vis-ual thinking theory. Participants of the research. 209 schoolchildren from secondary schools participated in the research. Random sampling was chosen when schoolchildren in grades 9 and 10 had a possibility to par-ticipate in the research. The research instrument, a questionnaire with open-ended and closed questions, was designed. There were 209 schoolchildren (92 schoolchildren from grade 9, 107 – from grade 10) in the sam-ple. The respondents were about 14–17 years of age (2 schoolchildren–14 years old, 73 schoolchildren–15 years old, 111 schoolchildren–16 years old and 23 schoolchildren–17 years old). The respondents’ distribu-tion by gender: 72 girls and 45 boys of grade 10, 45 girls and 47 boys of grade 9. The results. Computer based visualization makes easier perception processes because it activates perception operations. Views in the screen help to compare details in visual form and to distinguish the main features. Also it helps to see objects in the whole objects and other things connected with them. All these facts help students to perceive visual information and to understand verbal one too. The results of the re-search enclose that computer based visualization help to memorize information. It is already known that it is easier to remember visual information and computer screen makes qualitative effect to the memory. At least, students reflect that computer based visualization helps to imagine things that are very abstract or difficult. According to students they are able to create images and mental models about phenomena when they see some similar analogs in the screen. To sum up, there could be done a prediction that computer based visuali-zation could foster deeper work of perception, memory and imagination. Key words: visualization, science education, cognitive processes.
