Abstract:
In the first part, the author discusses the methodological status of interdisciplinary research. Some general issues may be problematized within various disciplines; each of them only examines a certain aspect of the issue. Philosophical categories represent some ideas par excellence, while the terms used by the specific sciences represent models of some of their aspects. The second part recalls the most important problems signaled by engineers and programmers of machines, which are to operate in an external, changing environment, realizing autonomously the objectives set for them. In parts three and four, the author attempts to specify the essential operations that the decision making machine performs. The nature of these operations should be adapted to the requirement that the machine should focus on what is important for the task it performs.

Abstract:
In his inaugural lecture to the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Béla Bartók proposed dividing the works of Liszt into two unequally valued portions: the valuable works that showed Liszt as an artistic innovator, and the undesirable ones that adopted a false “Hungarian” style that pleased unsophisticated listeners but corrupted their taste. In sum, he asserted a radical pseudo-aesthetic dichotomy in the interests of a political agenda. Only a dozen years later, Bartók’s own legacy was dichotomized in a very similar way by musicians and politicians, on both sides of the Cold War divide, who were acting according to a political agenda that no one even tried to disguise as aesthetic. The crypto-political pseudo-aesthetics of the twentieth century, whether practiced in the name of pure national traditions, in the name of social justice, or in the name of aesthetic autonomy, has corrupted both the production and the reception of art music and has played a part in its devaluation, all too evident in twenty-first-century society. The many errors of evaluation enumerated in this essay have contributed to that melancholy history.

Abstract:
Unrachable magnitude estimation problems: strategies and solving successFermi problems are problems that, being difficult to solve, can be satisfactorily solved if they are broken down into smaller pieces that are solved separately. In this article, we present inconceivable magnitude estimation problems as a subset of Fermi problems. Based on data collected from a study carried out with 12 to 16 years old students, we describe the different strategies for solving the problems that were proposed by the students, and discuss the potential of these strategies to successfully solve the problems.Handle: http://hdl.handle.net/10481/23476Nº de citas en WOS (2017): 1 (Citas de 2º orden, 0)

Abstract:
The main goal of the agrarian reform, which is being carried out in the agricultural sector, is the development of communication, the formation of mechanisms for the effective use of the land, which will determine the real ownership of the land. In the republic, the development of public transport, the economy of the industry, and the production and mental health of workers are carried out without the supervision of the state. As a result of the promotion of farming activity, more than 160 thousand farms will be established in our country in the next few years, and today 10 thousand farms will provide effective service in Uzbekistan. As a result of the ongoing economic reforms, our country has experienced steady economic growth.

Abstract:
Estruturas Aditivas. Estruturas Multiplicativas. Problemas Mistos. AbstractThis article presents the results of a research that aimed at analyzing structures problems of affine function and establish their typology. For the investigation development, the problems solved in the specific chapter on affine function, present in a Mathematics textbook of the High School 1st grade. Data analysis was carried out based on the Conceptual Fields theory, looking at the types of relationships involved between the measures identified in the problem situations statements that involve affine function concept. Findings show that is possible to analyze similar affine function problems as mixed problems, involving structures of the Additive and Multiplicative fields or purely multiplicative problems. Among the problem situations analyzed, 03 (three) belong to the mixed type, one of them as simple proportion type and measures composition, and two of them as simple proportion type and measurement transformation. Keywords: Didactics of Mathematics. Affine Function. Additive Structures. Multiplicative Structures. Mixed Problems.

The translation of idiomatic expressions represents a particular challenge in the context of machine translation. The meaning of these expressions goes beyond their word meaning and corresponds to the meta-language knowledge about the culture and/or current discourse of the language community. A subgroup of the VP hipostasis represent idiomatic content which is used in a certain pattern of use and can only be interpreted in connection with a corresponding discourse. This article discusses an example from English, which was used in the European Parliament and translated into five languages. The analysis shows different translation strategies and illustrates the relevance of the discourse. The method used is the corpus linguistic computation of corresponding discourse.

Abstract:
At the beginning of the third millennium, for mankind, which overcame the epidemic of life-threatening infections during its centuries-old history, the problem of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) came to the fore in relevance among all causes of morbidity and mortality. A significant role in this was played by lifestyle modification associated with limiting physical activity, increasing the calorie content of food, and a steady increase in emotional stress. All of this potentiates the main risk factors for CVD, which are a “negative asset of progress,” namely increased blood pressure (BP), dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus (DM) and obesity. Since 1988, after G. Reaven's Banting lecture, it is customary to designate the interconnected combination of these pathologies by the single term "metabolic syndrome X".

Abstract:
Abstract.SPECI. SCREENING FOR CHILDREN’S EMOTIONAL AND BEHAVIORAL PROBLEMS: DESCRIPTION AND PSYCHOMETRIC DATAThe goal of this work is to describe the “SPECI. Screening for Children’s Emotional and Behavioral Problems” (Garaigordobil & Maganto, 2012) and to contribute the psychometric data of its reliability and validity. The SPECI assesses emotional and behavioral problems in children between 5 and 12 years of age, specifically 10 problems (withdrawal, somatization, anxiety, dependent children, thought problems, attention-hyperactivity, disruptive behavior, academic performance, depression, violent behavior), which are rated by the child’s teacher. Each category of problems is defined by a label that identifies the problem, preceded by adjectives and/or short phrases that describe the most common behaviors of each problem. It is an instrument for early identification with methodological rigor that provides a global rating of the level of emotional and behavioral problems displayed by the child, and it also offers information about internalizing and externalizing problems. The psychometric study was carried out with a sample of 1,272 participants aged between 5 and 12 years, including a nonclinical (n = 937) and a clinical sample (n = 335). The differential analyses show significantly higher scores in the boys in all the problems (except for withdrawal and somatization, where no sex differences were found) and score stability with increasing age (there were only differences between extreme ages, with higher scores in older children, at age 11-12 years). Internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha) was adequate (? = .82). Factor validity identified two problem scales, internalizing and externalizing, which explain 39.92 and 13.57% of the variance. Criterial validity was confirmed because the participants of the clinical sample (emotional and intellectual problems) had significantly higher scores in all the problems when compared with the nonclinical sample. The results support the reliability and validity of the instrument, and confirm it as a robust screening tool with adequate levels of sensitivity and specificity. Keywords: assessment, emotional problems, behavioral problems, screening, psychopathology.
