Abstract:
Three variants of nutrient medium for the isolation of B. pertussis are developed, where the commercial medium N 199 (Parker) is the basis. The comparative study of the quality of the developed variants of the nutrient medium and the casein-coal agar medium of Dagestan production and the casein-coal agar medium of Moscow production shows that the new nutrient media do better than the casein-coal agar medium of Dagestan as well as the casein-coal agar medium of Moscow, porticu- larly effective is the 3 variant.

Abstract:
As far as today’s civilization development environment is concerned, man is living in an uninterrupted sound environment. Everywhere he is accompanied by a multitude of sounds and noises of varying intensity, having more or less violent effects on his hearing and his health. We can define noise as a representation of the sound vibration, not having a systematic attribute that is transmitted through various environments (air, water etc.) and that sensitizes the human ear negatively. In the Larousse dictionary, noise is a harmless sound system. Scientists with a specialization in physics characterize noise as a chaotic overlap with different frequencies and intensities, and physiologists appreciate the noise as any disturbing sound that causes an unpleasant sensation. It is proposed to revitalize the portico on street Ion Câmpineanu number 25, which hosts the entrance to a music shop. At present, it is a non-hostile and dark space dominated by massive pillars and shades of gray. Intervention involves the creation of a dynamic and interactive space in which the passageway is stimulated visually, tactile and auditory. With this solution, we want the public space in the studied area to develop a particular ambiance and vibration, allowing passers-by, hearing a harp melody, or even creating one’s own.

Grothues, Laura Karin, and Cesar Fabiano Fioriti. "Investigation of historic, constructive, spatial and pathological aspects regarding the IBC (Instituto Brasileiro do Café) in Presidente Prudente, Brazil." VITRUVIO - International Journal of Architectural Technology and Sustainability 4, no. 2 (December 20, 2019): 31. http://dx.doi.org/10.4995/vitruvio-ijats.2019.12240.

Full text
Abstract:
<p class="Abstracttext-VITRUVIO">In this case study the building of the Brazilian Institute of Coffee (IBC) in Presidente Prudente, Brazil, will be presented. The building was built in the 1940s for the usage of storing coffee. The timber construction is more than 70 years old, which make the shed a historically important heritage to the city. After the revitalization process the building is used as an event center nowadays. The special thing about the architecture of the IBC consists in the construction as a series of wooden latticed porticos. These porticos are still functional and visually appealing, but after so many years of use, they suffer from pathological manifestations. To gain more knowledge about which problems are common in the wooden construction all the porticos were examined in detail. The investigation process revealed, that every portico is affected by at least one of the anomalies studied, even though the degree varies from portico to portico. In addition to the research about the interior of the building, its surrounding was analysed. The urban location and the proximity to other cultural hotspots mean a great chance for the IBC, which should be taken. Comparing the IBC to the cultural center and former coal mine Zollverein in Germany, it becomes clear, that there are several opportunities to reuse a historic building and bind it into city structure. Finally, a critical reflexion of the revitalization process, of the current use and the embedding of the IBC in the environment shows several weaknesses, which could be improved through maintenance and an overall planning concept.</p>

Full text
Abstract:
In seeking the origins of the celebrated portico-framed fora of Imperial Rome, John R. Senseney explores the earliest recognizable example of this architectural type, a lost porticus of the 160s BCE built by the victorious commander Gnaeus Octavius. Adrift toward Empire: The Lost Porticus Octavia in Rome and the Origins of the Imperial Fora adduces ancient testimony to aid our understanding of the purposes and formal appearance of this pivotal monument. While the author suggests that Octavius emulated a Hellenistic model, he does not posit that the patron necessarily sought to associate his triumph with those of his Greek forebears. Those meanings did, however, become attached to the building type by later viewers and the architects who created the Imperial fora. In order to appreciate this phenomenon, the author questions the usefulness of fixed categories like "Hellenistic" and "Roman" and argues for a history sensitive to the fluidic intentions and changing meanings of architecture.

Abstract:
On or shortly after 4 February 43b.c.Cicero delivered theNinth Philippicin an effort to persuade the Senate to honour Ser. Sulpicius Rufus (cos. 51). He argued that Sulpicius, who had died of natural causes while acting as the Senate's envoy, was nevertheless entitled to the same recognition aslegatikilledob rem publicam. In the course of the speech Cicero discussed various historic precedents, including Cn. Octavius (cos. 165) who was assassinated in Syria in 162b.c.while doing the Senate's bidding and was consequently honoured with a statue on the rostra. The statue was still extant in 43b.c.and Cicero reminded his audience that it was now the only memorial to this great family. Cicero's observation has unanimously been interpreted as signifying that the family of the consul of 165b.c.was extinct in February 43b.c.In fact, Cicero actually meant that the statue on the rostra was now the sole surviving monument associated with the family of Cn. Octavius because the other two monuments that had served as a concrete reminder of the family had latterly been destroyed.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the validity of wills that violate absolute rights (legitimate portion) based on the Indonesian Civil Code and its legal consequences for the position of illegitimate children based on the Supreme Court Decision Number: 886 PK/Pdt/2018. In making a will, you must pay attention to the conditions regulated by law so that the will is valid.
