Abstract:
Kronika miasta Pornic by Czesław Miłosz: Polemic with the worldview and historiosophy of Juliusz Słowacki In the article an infterpretation of A Chronicle of the Town Pornic is presented, focusing on the polemic between Milosz and ideas of mystical Juliusz Słowacki. The author points out the differences between Milosz’s and Slowacki’s concept of history. A Chronicle of the Town Pornic in its understending of history bears a striking resemblance to Paul Ricoer’s idea highlighting the importance of finding a middle path between extreme individuality and viewing history only in the global perspective. An important part of the article consists of reflections on why Milosz chose Genezis from the Spirit as a matter of polemic instead of any other work by mystical Slowacki. Abstract:
This paper describes a natural clay, the Pornic clay, in accordance with the yield state and critical state concepts. The author has carried out a series of axisymmetrical triaxial tests on a natural overconsolidated clay and has clearly shown the yield state curve of the material; the curve is defined as the intersection of the yield state and "overconsolidated state" surfaces. The stress-strain paths are plotted either in the original p′-q-ε-v diagram or in the normalized diagram where the stresses are defined with respect to the preconsolidation pressure [Formula: see text], thus allowing one to characterize the reciprocity of the stress and strain paths and to follow their evolution mainly near the yield state curve. Abstract:
Thymus ×porcii is a natural hybrid between T. pannonicus and T. pulegioides, occurring within the co-occurrence range of its parental species in the forest and forest-steppe zones of Europe. Taxonomy and nomenclature of this hybrid present a longstanding puzzle due to the lack of critical evaluations of the original material as well as conflicting taxonomic interpretations of the parent taxa both at specific and intraspecific levels. The present paper attempts to clarify these issues, arguing against the synonymic treatment and/or consolidation of T. pannonicus and T. pulegioides, which is accepted in modern taxonomies apparently as a result of nomenclatural confusion related to T. pannonicus typification. Based on morphology and reported molecular data, it is proposed to treat T. pannonicus and T. pulegioides as separate species, each containing two varieties being well-distinguished by the presence or absence of leaf indumentum: T. pannonicus var. latifolius (glabrous leaves) and T. pannonicus var. pannonicus (pubescent leaves), and T. pulegioides var. pulegioides (glabrous leaves) and T. pulegioides var. vestitus (pubescent leaves). In view of such treatment, T. ×porcii is divided into three nothovarieties, representing natural crosses between different varieties of the parent species. Namely, in addition to the typical T. ×porcii nothovar. porcii [T. pannonicus var. latifolius × T. pulegioides var. pulegioides] (with T. ×pilisiensis and T. ×goginae as the taxonomic synonyms), we describe a new nothovariety T. ×porcii nothovar. calvariensis [T. pannonicus var. pannonicus × T. pulegioides var. pulegioides], and propose a new nomenclatural combination T. ×porcii nothovar. opizii [T. pannonicus × T. pulegioides var. vestitus] based on the previously published name T. ×opizii. On the basis of original material examination, two collections from BP are designated here as the lectotypes of T. ×porcii (≡ T. ×porcii nothovar. porcii) and T. ×pilisiensis respectively, and one specimen from PR is designated as the lectotype of T. ×opizii (≡ T. ×porcii nothovar. opizii). Main diagnostic traits of T. ×porcii nothovarieties and their parental taxa are compared and discussed.

On realise une serie d'essais triaxiaux axisymetriques sur argile consolidee et on met en evidence la courbe d'etat limite du materiau, intersection de la surface d'etat limite et de la surface dite "d'etat surconsolide". La representation des chemins contraintes-deformations dans un diagramme original ou dans le diagramme normalise permet de cartacteriser leur reciprocite et de suivre leur evolution au passage de la courbe d'etat limite. L'etude de l'influence du temps ou de la vitesse de deformation demontre que les enveloppes de fluage se contractent dans l'espace des contraibntes quand le temps augmente et qu'une unique fait defaut pour caracteriser reciproquement les chemins de contraintes draines et non-draines en fonction des vitesses de sollicitations

Abstract:
Les élus locaux sont en recherche pour leurs villes des distinctions obtenues par les processus de labellisation (Epstein, 2013). Ces derniers sont fréquemment présentés comme une forme positive de valorisation des ressources locales, engagés dans un objectif de développement territorial. La labellisation est néanmoins soumise à des conditions strictes et sélectives. Elle s’inscrit de fait dans une logique de mise en concurrence des territoires qui relève souvent d’une démarche de conduite de projet mobilisant une ingénierie publique locale (Lascoumes et Le Galès, 2004). La labellisation joue ainsi un rôle moteur dans l’action territoriale. Elle accompagne et enrichit la patrimonialisation aussi bien dans son volet « conservation » (préservation de l’intégrité des objets patrimoniaux) que dans son volet « valorisation » (mobilisation du patrimoine à des fins de développement) (Benos et Milian, 2013). Si la patrimonialisation est créatrice de lien social, elle peut également, tout au contraire, être un vecteur de ségrégation (Madoré 2004), en particulier dans les territoires convoités du littoral identifiés comme fortement attractifs pour la résidentialisation et propices à la migration d’agrément (Vye, 2011, Blondy et alii, 2016). C’est dans ce contexte que la construction d’un grand récit patrimonial « légitimise » une politique de sélection, voire d’expulsion. L’obtention de nombreux labels patrimoniaux présentée comme un succès détourne l’attention d’un processus de ségrégation sociale silencieux et discret. Elle contribue à faire taire d’éventuelles voix discordantes et à gommer les perceptions négatives. Lors de négociations entre élus communaux et services de l’État, les labels patrimoniaux peuvent justifier des demandes de dérogation à la loi SRU sur le non respect du taux requis de logements sociaux. La problématique mobilisée dans la thèse est donc celle des effets sociaux de la labellisation patrimoniale. Puisant à la fois dans le courant de la géographie critique (Harvey, 2018) ; (Gintrac, 2012) et dans celui de la géographie sociale (Séchet et Veschambre, 2004), nous faisons l’hypothèse que les labels sont révélateurs de la dimension spatiale des inégalités et que les processus de labellisation sont des vecteurs d’exclusion spatiale et sociale (Harvey, 2011). La méthodologie de cette recherche repose sur une démarche d’observation participante et de collecte de données par entretiens, complétée par l’analyse d’un corpus de presse (quotidien régional et bulletin municipal) et de documents opérationnels. Le terrain d’étude choisi est celui de la station balnéaire de Pornic, Station Classée de Tourisme en 2014 située à proximité de Nantes sur la côte atlantique. Ce cas d’étude est révélateur de la tension entre labellisation patrimoniale et ségrégation sociale. La gentrification, comprise comme le résultat sur un espace de rapports de force entre des groupes sociaux inégalement dotés (Clerval et Van Criekingen 2023), s’y décline en une gentrification touristique (Gotham 2018), puisque ce concept s’est vidé de son sens premier, celui d’une violence à l’œuvre. Aboutissement d’un lent travail de patrimonialisation, la ville-musée exclut et n’a plus que l’apparence de la convivialité (Illich 1984)
Local councillors are looking for distinctions for their towns through labelling processes (Epstein, 2013). The latter are frequently presented as a positive way of enhancing local resources, committed to a territorial development objective. However, labelling is subject to strict and selective conditions. In fact, it is part of a competitive process that often involveslocal public engineering (Lascoumes and Le Galès, 2004). Labeling thus plays a driving role in territorial action. It accompanies and enriches both the “conservation” aspect (preserving the integrity of heritage objects) and the “enhancement” aspect (mobilizing heritage for development purposes) (Benos and Milian, 2013). While patrimonialization creates social ties, it can also, quite the opposite, be a vector of segregation (Madoré 2004), particularly in coveted coastal territories identified as highly attractive for residentialization and conducive to leisure migration (Vye, 2011, Blondy et alii,2016). It is in this context that the construction of a grand heritage narrative “legitimizes” a policy of selection, even expulsion. Obtaining numerous heritage labels, presented as a success, distracts attention from a silent and discreet process of social segregation. It helps to silence any dissenting voices and erase negative perceptions. During negotiations between local elected representatives and government departments, heritage labels can be used to justify requests for exemptions from the SRU law on social housing. This thesis therefore focuses on the social effects of heritage labelling.Drawing on both the currents of critical geography (Harvey, 2018), (Gintrac, 2012) and social geography (Séchet and Veschambre, 2004), we hypothesize that labels reveal the spatial dimension of inequalities and that labeling processes are vectors of spatial and social exclusion (Harvey, 2011). The methodology of this research is based on participant observation and data collection through interviews, complemented by analysis of a press corpus (regional daily newspaperand municipal bulletin) and operational documents. The field of study chosen is the seaside resort of Pornic, a Classified Tourist Resort in 2014 located near Nantes on the Atlantic coast. This case study reveals the tension betweenheritage labeling and social segregation. Gentrification, understood as the spatial result of power relations between unequally endowed social groups (Clerval and Van Criekingen 2023), has become a tourist gentrification (Gotham 2018), as the concept has been emptied of its original meaning, that of violence at work. The result of a slow process of patrimonialization, the museum city excludes and has only the appearance of conviviality (Illich 1984)

Kunszt i wirtuozeria – te dwie cechy poezji Słowackiego zmusiły Mickiewicza, by nawet w dyskredytującej opinii o twórczości młodszego kolegi oddał sprawiedliwość najwyższemu artyzmowi jego języka poetyckiego. Maestria, z jaką Słowacki panuje nad słowem i obrazem, brawura w tworzeniu literackich przestrzeni, jednoczesny rozmach i perfekcja kreacji, przejawiająca się w dopracowanej konstrukcji i misternym wykończeniu nawet najdrobniejszych elementów – to istota poetyckich światów Słowackiego. Nawarstwiona, spiętrzona barokowość tworzy obraz migotliwy i złudny, jednak za mieniącą się, wielobarwną kurtyną iluzji kryje się brylantowy rdzeń prawdy, olśniewający i zdumiewający jeszcze silniej, niż okalające go łudząco piękne pozory. „Oko zalśnione” sugeruje po pierwsze sposób, a po drugie intensywność wizualnego oddziaływania na wyobraźnię. Imaginacja odbiorcy nie ma być ekranem, na który zostanie rzucony – niczym slajd – konkretny obraz poetyckiego świata. Pomyślana jest raczej jako nieokreślona siła kreatywna, dla której pożywką są wrażenia wzrokowe, impresje. Poetyckie światy nie są stworzone raz na zawsze – pozostają w ruchu, podlegają zmianom w ciągłym dialogu z odbiorcą, na styku sfer wyobraźni poety i czytelnika. Tak rozumiana komunikacja jest bowiem „drogą poznania i sposobem kreacji zarazem” – nie tylko w kontekście mistycznym.

Sur les côtes du Pays de Retz, la petite pêche fut longtemps considérée comme une activité complémentaire des métiers de la terre, de l’industrie et du petit cabotage, pratiquée par des marins, des ouvriers et des paysans. Dans les années 1950, le perfectionnement des techniques de pêche a permis à des pêcheurs d’améliorer leurs connaissances des milieux de la Baie de Bourgneuf et de l’estuaire de la Loire, et leurs conditions naturelles d’exploitation des ressources halieutiques locales. Ces dernières étant particulièrement appréciées par les gens du Pays de Retz, ces pêcheurs ont pu augmenter leurs revenus et se spécialiser dans l’exercice des métiers de la petite pêche. Ils ont alors conçu leur professionnalisation selon des valeurs et des représentations qui leur ont permis de penser la diversité de leurs pratiques de pêche et de vente de leurs productions comme un facteur de structuration, de distinction et de valorisation de leur groupe professionnel
The inshore fishery on the Pays de Retz coast used to be considered as a complementary activity to farming, industry and coastal traffic, practiced by fishermen, workers and farmers. During the fifties, the improvement of fishing customs allowed fishermen to increase their knowledge of the Bourgneuf Bay and the Loire estuary area, as well as the natural tapping conditions of the local fisheries resources. Since the Pays de Retz inhabitants especially appreciated those resources, fishermen could raise their incomes and get specialized in inshore fisheries. So they based their professionalisation on values and representations that led them to consider the diversity of selling and fishing techniques as a means of providing structure, distinction and value to their socio-professional group

Les études des interactions entre cellules hôtes et rétrovirus ont conduit à définir le concept de restriction virale dont les facteurs constituent une part de l'immunité innée des cellules hôtes. Ces facteurs contribuent au contrôle des rétrovirus endogènes (ERV) dont l'émergence peut être associée à certaines pathologies telles que des leucémies ou des immunodéficiences. Chez le porc, certains ERV (PERV) sont réplicatifs, pourtant aucune pathologie ne leur a, à ce jour, été associée. Les mécanismes de restriction virale impliqués dans ce phénomène ont fait l'objet de nombreuses études. Elles n'ont cependant concerné que certains facteurs. Les protéines porcines à motif tripartite (poTRIM) n'ont ainsi fait l'objet que de peu d'études. Pourtant, de nombreux membres de cette famille participent à la restriction virale chez d'autres organismes que le porc. La présente étude s'intéresse par conséquent aux orthologues porcins de ces protéines et à leur relation avec les PERV. L'élaboration d'une stratégie d'expression de ces protéines dans un modèle humain, sensible à l'infection par le PERV nous a permis d'évaluer et de caractériser les effets des TRIM sur le cycle infectieux du PERV. Cette stratégie a mis en évidence une activité de restriction par TRIM8 tandis que TRIM44 semble au contraire agir en faveur de la réplication virale. En ce qui concerne poTRIM11, elle favorise l'entrée du PERV tout en inhibant son expression. L'étude a également confirmé l'insensibilité du PERV vis-à-vis de poTRIM5α. L'ensemble de ces résultats contribuent à la compréhension de la relation entre la réplication des PERV et le contrôle mené par son hôte.

Abstract:
Le virus du syndrome dysgénésique et respiratoire porcin (SDRPv) est un pathogène à l’origine de problèmes respiratoires et de reproduction. La réponse immunitaire face au SDRPv est caractérisée par une virémie persistante et un retard dans la mise en place des anticorps neutralisants. Les macrophages alvéolaires (AM) sont la cible principale du virus mais plusieurs études in vitro suggèrent une infection des cellules dendritiques (DC). Dans ce manuscrit, de nouvelles cibles cellulaires du virus ont été découvertes dans le poumon et dans les ganglions trachéo-bronchiques. Les cellules du parenchyme pulmonaire AM-like sont infectés in vivo par le SDRPv de Type 1 alors que les cDC1, cDC2 et moDC du poumon ne sont pas infectées. La souche Lena Type 1.3 se distingue des autres souches par sa capacité à induire une polarisation vers une réponse Th1 in vitro. Une expérience de transfert de lymphocytes T mémoires in vivo suggèrent une réponse cellulaire accrue et délétère lors de l’infection par la souche Lena. Trois populations de macrophages ont été identifiées dans les ganglions et nommées : macrophages périfolliculaires (PFMacro), macrophages des cordons lymphatiques (cordMacro) et macrophages efférents (effMacro). Les effMacro et les PFMacro sont infectés par les souches européennes. Quant à la réponse humorale, 5 stades de différenciation des LB dans les ganglions ont été identifiés et une étude de l’impact de l’infection sur la différenciation des lymphocytes B est en cours
Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) is a single-stranded RNA virus that causes reproductive failure and respiratory problems in swine. Immune response against PRRSV is characterized by a persistent viremia and a delay in neutralizing antibodies’ production. Main targets of PRRSV are Alveolar Macrophages (AM) but in vitro studies suggest that PRRSV could replicate in dendritic cells (DC). In this manuscript, new cellular targets of PRRSV in the lung and the tracheo-bronchial lymph nodes have been depicted. This work revealed that pulmonary parenchymal AM-like are susceptible to PRRSV in vivo. Moreover, study of DC infection in the lung reveals that cDC1, cDC2 and moDC are not infected by Type 1 PRRSV. In tracheo-bronchial lymph nodes, 3 populations of pig macrophages (Macro) have been identified and called perifollicular macrophages (PFMacro), lymphatic cord macrophages (cordMacro) and efferent macrophages (effMacro). In vivo infection revealed that PFMacro and effMacro are susceptible to Type 1 PRRSV infection. In order to understand the delay in humoral response establishment, 5 populations of B cells have been identified in the lymph nodes. The interaction of SDRPv with these populations is under study

Intertrochanteric fracture occurred more than 200,000 cases each year in the United States, with mortality rate up to 20 percents. Evans classified the intertrochanteric fracture pattern to stable and unstable group. Most of the complications occurred in the unstable group. It is speculated that in the unstable intertrochanteric fracture, the lag screw migrates easily into the porotic femur head and than causing fixation failure. So the treatment of porotic unstable femoral intertrochanteric fracture depends on the bone quality, severity of comminution, anatomical reduction and methods of fixation. An abundant of studies had been focused on how to reinforce the porotic unstable intertrochanteric fracture including osteotomies, cement augmentation, anatomical reduction, and different implant applications. Among the many techniques, the anatomical reduction using cerclage wiring was widely used to enhance the stability of osteoporotic fractured femur. However, in the young adult, the application of cerclage wiring is controversial. The current study compares the mechanical properties of two anatomical reduction techniques of unstable intertrochanteric fracture reconstructed by a compression hip screw. Four porcine femurs of 10 months-old were used to simulate the non-porotic human bone. The specimens were stripped of all soft tissues. Each femur was prepared with four holes for dynamic hip screws following the standard surgical procedure. The anatomical reduction was achieved by a cerclage wiring and without cerclage wiring. The results reveal that in the non-porotic porcine model, there is no statistically difference in stiffness, plate strain and medial bone strain per load. No matter the unstable intertrochanteric fracture is reduced with cerclage wire or not. The non-porotic unstable intertrochanteric fracture anatomical reduction is not necessary if protective weight bearing is obeyed. However, whether the cerclage wiring is necessary or not for the osteoporotic unstable femur fracture needs further study.

Praktinėje dalyje, siekiant nustatyti TUI priklausomybę nuo skirtingų makroekonominių rodiklių, atliekama koreliacinė regresinė ir porinė regresinė analizė. Straipsnio metodikai naudojama mokslinės literatūros analizė, makroekonominių rodiklių analizė, koreliacinė regresinė bei porinė regresinė analizės. Atlikus TUI Lietuvoje 2010–2015 m. analizę, pastebėta, jog tiesioginių užsienio investicijų apimtys nagrinėjamu laikotarpiu nuolat augo. Nustatyta, kad TUI pritraukimui Lietuvoje didžiausią įtaką turi BVP vienam gyventojui, bedarbių skaičius ir vidutinis darbo užmokestis šalyje.
