Abstract:
<p>From the innovation among pesantrens, students need not only Islamic religious learning but also entrepreneurial skills. This research explores the entrepreneurship learning model that had been developed by Pondok Pesantren Riyadlul Jannah Pacet and Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri Pasuruan and examines the effectiveness of pesantren entrepreneurs. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. In order to obtain the data validity, the data triangulation method supported by documentation and observation was employed by conducting interviews with kyai, asatidz, santri, and graduate users. The research objects were Pondok Pesantren Riyadlul Jannah and Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri Pasuruan; both are pioneers in developing pesantren entrepreneurs in Indonesia. This study showed that pesantren entrepreneurs are able to equip and encourage students to get careers towards prosperity. By harmonizing the theories of Kasb Asy’ariyah and Locus of Control, the focus of this study was on students who were not only capable as mubaligh, but also as entrepreneurs, particularly if they continued their studies at pesantren.</p>

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to find out the business development process which is conducted by Kopontren Sidogiri in creating Basmalah stores that spread across Indonesia with sharia-based businesses. This study uses a qualitative method by using a descriptive case study method. The object of this study is the Basmalah store. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews on three informants, consisting of the Head of the Marketing Division, the Head of the Operational Division, and the Head of the Area Manager Division. Based on the results of the study, it indicates that the business development carried out by Kopontren Sidogiri is mutually sustainable between one business and another. Kopontren Sidogiri, which is known as a sharia-based cooperative, succeeds in creating three companies, namely PT. Sidogiri Mitra Utama which supervises the Basmalah store, PT. Sidogiri Mandiri Utama which owns Santri AMDK products, and PT. Sidogiri Pandu Utama which manages human resources using the Sidogiri Excel Center (SEC) program or better known as the Sidogiri corporation. The business strength of Sidogiri corporation lies in the relationship created between Alumni of Islamic boarding school and students of Sidogiri so that they can quickly develop their markets, regions and business products. The contract used in opening new branches comes under ijarah, mudharabah, and musyarakah. Pondok Pesatren are the oldest traditional educational institutions in transferring Islamic values to Indonesia. So when we see how the Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan, East Java, which is very consistent with its traditional pesantren education, was able to develop a modern business within the cooperative space of the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School, and has even established three subsidiary companies within it, namely: PT. Sidogiri Mitra Utama, PT Sidogiri Mandiri Utama, PT. Sidogiri Pandu Utama. Based on the reality above, researchers want to understand the processing of Pondok Pesatrenin encouraging independence. This research intends to find answers regarding: first, how are the efforts to manage the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School so that it can become an economically independent Islamic boarding school; second, how is the business analysis of the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School Canvas Model. Based on its character, a qualitative approach was used in this study, through Peter L Barger's social construction theory analysis framework, while the research data was obtained from various sources through in-depth interviews, participant observation or observation, field notes. (fieldnotes) and documentation. This research resulted in the following results; the efforts of the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School to reconstruct its management so that it can become an economically independent Islamic boarding school is carried out by running a business professionally. With the support of human resources for students who have good morals and a good work ethic, the management of the school unit. In the business model canvas of the Sidogori Islamic Boarding School, from all elements it is very clear that alumni play a very important role in expanding channels and customer relationships. SWOT analysis of social entrepreneurship-based Pondok Pesantren management at Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri can formulate future strategies for business management that will run well in the future One of the strategies proposed based on the SWOT analysis carried out is, open branches in various strategic locations, not only around the Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri.

<p><em>Cultural difference determines the strategies used for entrepreneurship development. Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) as the oldest educational institution in Indonesia has a unique culture. Pesantren-based entrepreneurship development must be equipped with different characteristics of strategy. The purpose of this research is to explore the entrepreneurship development strategy based on the culture of pesantren through teleology approach. The subject of the current research is Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri (PPS) Pasuruan. It employs case study analysis. Interview and observation methods are used to collect the data. The teleology approach is used to understand entrepreneurial strategies under some perspectives which include; the involved subjects, the projected achievements, and the entrepreneurship development strategy based on the culture of pesantren. The results demonstrate the important role of kiai (pesantren leader), santri (students), and alumni in the development of entrepreneurship in Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri. They seek independence for the intention of worship. They practice the value of tabligh (transparent) and fathanah (professional) for institutional management called Koperasi Syariah (sharia cooperative). In addition, the administrative managers hold the values of shidiq (honest) and amanah (trustworthy). In conclusion, the strategy of pesantren-based entrepreneurship development has typical characteristics of pesantren.</em></p><p><em>Perbedaan budaya menentukan perbedaan strategi pengembangan wirausaha. Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan tertua di Indonesia memiliki budaya yang unik. Pengembangan</em> wirausaha<em> berbasis budaya pesantren tentunya memiliki karakteristik strategi yang berbeda. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi strategi pengembangan wirausaha berbasis budaya pesantren melalui pendekatan teleologi. Situs penelitian di Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri (PPS) Pasuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis studi kasus. Metode wawancara dan observasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yang akan dianalisis. Pendekatan teleologi berguna untuk memahami strategi wirausaha berdasarkan perspektif yang meliputi; subyek yang terlibat, prestasi yang diproyeksikan, dan strategi pengembangan wirausaha berbasis budaya pesantren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran penting kiai, santri, dan alumni dalam pengembangan wirausaha di Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri. Kemandirian untuk niat ibadah menjadi prestasi yang diharapkan. Menerapkan nilai-nilai tabligh (transparansi) dan fathanah (profesional) sebagai strategi pengelolaan lembaga yang berbentuk koperasi syariah. Disamping itu, untuk pengelola dibudayakan nilai-nilai shiddiq (kejujuran) dan amanah (dapat dipercaya). <p>The success of the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School in building a financial business network has been recognized nationally. Sidogiri is a boarding school with the largest business unit in Indonesia. This study aims to interpret the business spirit of Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a case study research design at the Sidogiri Islamic boarding school, Pasuruan. The unit of analysis for this research is the kyai as caregivers, teachers or ustadz, business unit administrators, students, alumni, and the community. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, analysis of financial statements, and analysis of documentation. Qualitative research design with a case study model. Data analysis and data validity testing used source triangulation, method triangulation, and time triangulation techniques. The findings of this study indicate that (1) the spirit of financial institutions is the religious spirit to leave the business that contains usury, (2) the business education carried out by the Sidogiri Islamic boarding school uses a programmed curriculum in madrasah dinniyah (3) an integrated education curriculum between theory, practice, internship, assignment curriculum to manage financial business units (4) business education is given to students at the senior level madrasah dinniyah with fan mu'amalah (5) students who graduate are given the task of managing financial business units (6) the boarding school together with alumni create business unit branches, and (7 ) business unit management is left to alumni</p>

Abstract:
Islamic education in Indonesia, the majority is rooted in the education model of an Islamic boarding school. In the world of pesantren, the position of the yellow book is very strategic because the yellow book is the book references and the curriculum in the education system. Nahwu and Shorrof are the initial keys to mastering the yellow book, but the problem is, many students, especially early childhood students and beginners, they find it difficult to learn Nahwu and Shorof, while the two fans are the key to being able to read the yellow book. with 3 (three) data collection techniques, namely; observation, interview and documentation. The analysis technique in this research is to use qualitative data analysis consisting of 1) data reduction; 2) data presentation, and 3) conclusions, where the process took place circularly during the study. The results showed that the preparation of the method was based on the unrest that occurred in the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School and the Al-Miftah Lil ‘Ulum method in the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School well organized, both internally and externally.

Abstract:
Islam has made an effort to balance between policy-oriented intervention and non-policyoriented intervention on economy. As a religion, Islam does not oppose the market’s view of economy (liberal economics) nor the state’s control over the economy. Rather, Islam tries to make the balance equally according to the level and the measurement between the two. In principle, Islam recognizes the concept of altruism that gives precedence to the willingness to work cooperatively. In Indonesia, this principle lies in the existence of cooperatives (koperasi). This article argues that the system of cooperatives has its root in Islamic principles called atta’âwun, meaning cooperation and togertherness. By taking Koperasi Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri Pasuran as its case study, this article found that koperasi managed to enhance the level of economic betterment of its members.

Joblessness and lack of social welfare are economic problems which require the involvement of all people to overcome. The education aspect which functions to prepare educated human resource also plays important roles in reducing the level of joblessness and increase the social welfare. Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan as an educational institution not only provides Salaf education materials, but gives social benefits through its social entrepreneurship program.The aim of this research is to discover the social entrepreneurship applied at Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach, by using a qualitative research of case study. Technique of data collection applied in this research is through documents, interview, participatory observation, and documentation upon the informants selected by using purposive sampling methods.The results of the research show that the application of social entrepreneurship at Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan can be proven by the innovation of establishment of social entrepreneurship institution, i.e. Kopontren Sidogiri (Cooperative of Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri), Pustaka Sidogiri, Buletin Sidogiri (Sidogiri Buletin), BMT Maslahah, BMT UGT Sidogiri, BPRS UMMU Sidogiri dan Koperasi Agro Sidogiri (Sidogiri Agribusiness Cooperative). They have been established based on the ideas and roles of civil society of Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan to maintain the economic activities, i.e. the duty of delivering Islamic values (dakwah), business, and providing social values for the society around Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan.

This article discusses the Business Entity condition of Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri, the involvement of santri and communities in Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri's Business Entity, and the contribution of Business Entities towards Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri, santri and their communities. This article was prepared using a qualitative case study type method. This article concludes that Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri have a Business Entity. Business entities owned by Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri has established three Perseroan Terbatas stands for PT (Limited Company). PT. Sidogiri Mitra Utama serves the needs of santri, PT. Sidogiri Mandiri Utama, engaged in bottled drinking water and PT. Sidogiri Pandu Utama, engaged in the Outsourcing Provider and Training Center. The involvement of santri and the community around these two Pondok Pesantren in managing the Business Entity is quite active. This active participation implies that these very diverse Business Entities are all oriented towards improving welfare. So that the existence of Business Entity's Pondok Pesantren positively contributes to the independence of santri, Pondok Pesantren, and the community.

Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dari observasi, interview dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sistem pendidikan Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri Pasuruan ada 3 tingkat yaitu; Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Madrasah Tsanawiyah dan Madrasah Aliyah. Sedangkan untuk santri baru wajib mengikuti Madrasah Idadiyah. Untuk mempertahan nilai-nilai salafnya pondok sidogiri masih menggunakan kitab kuning atau kitab klasik dalam proses ta’lim. Dalam metode pengajarannya masih menerapkan metode-metode salaf seperti sorogan dan wetonan. Selain itu kegiatan-kegiatan religius tetap dipertahankan serta penanaman tawadhu’antara santri dan guru baik dilingkungan pesantren maupun diluar. Adapun upaya pondok sidogiri dalam mempertahankan eksistensi dan nilai-nilai salafnya di era globalisasi saat ini dengan mengadakan studi banding antar pesantren, membuat metode baca kitab cepat yang dinamai dengan Al-Miftah lil Ulum sebagai persiapan bagi santri-santri usia dini, serta memberi jadwal khusus dan rutin kegiatan bahtsul masail untuk membahas persoalan-persoalan agama terkini dan kaderisasi An-Najah yang bertujuan untuk pendalaman akidah Ahlissunnah wal Jama’ah dan ilmu-ilmu kemasyarakatan.

Islamic boarding schools in Sidogiri Pasuruan or abbreviated as PPS, in terms of the number of santri Islamic boarding schools in Sidogiri Currently there are 10,000 students, for the total number of new students in the last 10 years there are 14,560 above which is very increasing, if in the last 10 there are 1,456 santri per year. Based on the results of the data analysis and analysis of the development of the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School in Pasuruan Regency, the development of main facilities in the form of residential or santri dormitories and supporting facilities is currently needed, so that the development of the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School is very much needed by applying the concept of Maiyyah (togetherness) infrastructure quality and Islamic in supporting the smooth running of all activities of the santri.

Era teknologi dan informasi mengharuskan penghuninya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan daya saing, pada era tersebut persaingan di segala bidang tak terelakkan dan manusia membutuhkan ketelitian, keteguhan, amanah, tanggung jawab dan berani menghadapi risiko dari berbagai tindakan dan profesi yang menjadi pilihan, peningkatan kompetensi tersebut salah satunya harus dilakukan melalui pengembangan literasi. Realitas mayoritas lulusan pesantren masih banyak yang belum mencapai kompetensi minimal pada ranah kognitif , afektif dan psikomotorik. Hal ini bisa ditelusuri banyaknya lulusan pesantren yang masih belum sepenuhnya menguasai baca kitab, memahami dan menuntaskan materi minimal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan regulasi dan implementasi pembelajaran literasi membaca di pondok pesantren. Jenis penelitian menggunakan field research, dengan paradigma fenomenologi yang mengambil kasus dua pesantren di Jawa Timur yaitu pesantren Sidogiri . Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dept interview, observasi partisipan dan dokumentasi. Dengan uji keabahan data trianggulasi, uji kredibilatas dan perpanjangan keterlibatan, dependabilitas, konfirmabilitas dan transferabilitas data. The data were conducted by interview, observation, and document analysis. The design of this research is qualitative design applying multi sites case study technique model. Data analysis and data validity test using triangulation i.e source, method and time triangulation. The research shows that kyais have an important role in developing business unit of pesantren.

Abstract:
Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School is one of the oldest Islamic boarding schools and is capable of being independent in its operational activities by having very rich resources and this institution is also an example of success in developing Islamic economics. The definition of "institution" in this article is how the rules are implemented in the pesantren's economic activities that are deeply tied to the social capital that they have. This study uses a case study qualitative approach. Data collection through observation, documentation and in-depth interviews. The results of the study show that social capital that is embedded in the pesantren environment can reduce transaction costs so that the institutional of Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School cooperative is more efficient. Network can reduce the cost of information, negotiation, coordination and supervision. Norms can decrease the occurrence of irregularities and the existence of trust. Shared vision can facilitate coordination and increase motivation. It is recommended that the application of social capital in the management of the Sidogiri kopontren be able to be transferred some other pesantren that are still lagging behind in economic development so that they are able to be independent and can help the economic problems of the community.

Introduction to The Problem: Been established for 282 years (2019), Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri was one of the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. With its approximately 11,000 students, the institution was potentially economic to develop. The development effort was started in 1961 by establishing Koperasi Pondok Pesantren which focused on how to fulfill its students’ needs. Kopontren Sidogiri was currently the main actor in a minimarket business competition in East Java. With its trading activities earning IDR 1 trillion per year, Kopontren Sidogiri could give a welfare impact to the community and Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri.Purpose/Objective Study: The research aims to examine Kopontren Sidogiri’s operational description and marketing-mix implementation in retail business in the 4.0 era.Design/Methodology/Approach: The research was conducted using a qualitative method. According to the theme of the discussion, this research was field research. The research was a descriptive case study performed at Koperasi Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri. Sampling was conducted using a purposive sampling technique. The research sample consisted of a steering committee, managers, staff, and experts. The secondary data were collected from several findings relevant to this study. Data validity was tested using a triangulation technique.Findings: Strategies implemented included marketing mix (4Ps) i.e. product, place, price, and promotion. The achievement gave an inclusive and modern image to Koperasi Pesantren. Meanwhile, place strengthening was by building Toko Basmalah in the areas where alumni of Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri lived, creating loyal market targets. Moreover, price strengthening was by using a retail price in a product sale, encouraging the sale, and making effective profits. The promotion was by branding Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri, creating customers’ trust, and spreading positive information about Minimarket Basmallah to people (word of mouth).

Leadership in Islamic boarding schools is the leadership of caregivers or called cleric or master teachers. Leadership in developing entrepreneurship is also in the clergy. This study aims to interpret the role of cleric leadership in the development of entrepreneurship in Islamic boarding schools. This research uses a case study at the Sidogiri Islamic boarding school, Pasuruan. The unit of analysis of the research is ulama, teacher or cleric, business unit management, santri, community members of Islamic boarding school cooperatives. Data collection methods used in-depth interviews, participatory observation and content analysis of documentation. This research design uses a qualitative design with a case study model. Data analysis and data validity testing used triangulation techniques, namely source triangulation, method triangulation and time triangulation. The findings of this study indicate that Kiai's leadership plays an important role in the development of pesantren entrepreneurship. Kiai's important roles are (1) initiating, (2) facilitating, (3) mobilizing teachers, santri, and wali santi, and (4) mobilizing alumni to become investors in the pesantren business unit. Kiai also play a role in collaborating with other parties and the surrounding community.

Various studies have identified the correlates of customer loyalty including satisfaction, trust, commitment, involvement, perceived cost, and service quality. This paper aims to describe customer loyalty to the Sharia microfinance institution in Indonesia. The main question developed was whether the customers of this institution have similar drives in maintaining their loyalty in using its services. The study uses qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and descriptive analysis. Data were collected from a series of interviews and focus group discussions with the management and the customers of Bayt al Mal wa al Tamwil Maslahah (BMTM) Sidogiri Pasuruan Indonesia. The study found that customer loyalty to BMTM Sidogiri was characterized by a positive response to and the utilization of products. The positive attitude towards BMTM products was based on the motives of meeting daily needs, business development and the acceptance of sharia values in the form of blessing and economic justice when using the products. In addition, the customer loyalty to BMTM Sidogiri was driven by emotional connection among the alumni of Sidogiri pesantren even though there is no structural connection between BMTM and Sidogiri pesantren. In maintaining its customer loyalty, the BMTM Sidogiri attempts to bring its services closer to the community, opens BMTM branches in other cities and adds new counters to ease customer transaction services. This study suggests that the customer loyalty to the Islamic financial institution is determined by a combination of shariah values acceptance and the fulfilment of daily need as well as business development

Artikel penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskritif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Kesimpulan penelitian ini membutuhkan banyak persiapan. Karenanya membutuhkan strategi untuk mencapai tujuan dimaksud. Untuk mencapai impact yang diharapkan berkenaan dengan pemahaman gramatika bahasa Arab, dibutuhkan persiapan-persiapan teknis dalam proses pembelajaran, antara lain guru harus diberikan pembinaan sebelum proses KBM, dan bagi santri diberikan tes dan pembinaan belajar tulisan pego arab. Beriutnya, dalam proses pelaksanaannya yang menggunakan sistem modul 4 jilid al-Miftah, para santri diwajibkan untuk menghafal nadzam yang ada dalam al-Miftah. This study aims to describe the role of foreign languages as a medium for the development of pesantren in the archipelago. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Pesantren is one of the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. In the history of its development, pesantren reap some barriers, until finally at the beginning of XX century pesantren began to demand by many people. The success of pesantren in managing Islamic education is partly because of the role of foreign languages (Arabic and English) taught in it. In the globalization era, foreign language is a primary requirement for students, thus making pesantren as an alternative institution in developing foreign language skills of santri, in addition, the learning of foreign languages in pesantren is more effective because of the language environment. This is one of them can make foreign language as one of the political media in order to advance the existence of pesantren. Foreign language politics in pesantren means managing foreign languages as the language of communication in various policies in pesantren. Some pesantrens in Indonesia with a background of modern pesantren and Salāf pesantren are keen to utilize foreign languages as a means of communication, resistance, and reconstruction of pesantren, such as the modern pesantren Gontor Ponorogo, Darullughah Wadda'wah Bangil Pasuruan pesantren, and Sidogiri Pasuruan pesantren. Some of these pesantren are pesantren who successfully manage foreign languages in accordance with the above functions. Thus, the paradigm of pesantren succession is not only seen from the number of santri who are proficient in Islamic Studies, but also from the extent to which santri skilled in various fields, one of which is foreign language.

Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) KHA Wahid Hasyim Bangil dinobatkan sebagai Ponpes Tangguh Kebal COVID-19 oleh Polres Pasuruan. Ponpes merupakan center of exellence dalam aspek moral-agama, moral-kesehatan, maupun moral-ekonomi bagi masyarakat sekitar ponpes. Pemberdayaan kesehatan masyarakat berbasis ponpes dipandang akan memudahkan menjangkau masyarakat tradisional. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, dibuatlah sebuah upaya komprehensif untuk pemberdayaan kesehatan berbasis pondok pesantren. Kegiatan kali ini berfokus pada peningkatan pengetahuan tentang herbal sederhana yang bermanfaat sebagai suplemen pendamping terapi COVID-19 (webinar). Namun, disamping persaingan yang ketat tersebut, ada perusahan ritel yang mampu bersaing dengan penjualan berbasis islam yang tersebar di jawa timur. Perusahaan ritail ini milik pesantren yang tergabung dalam koperasi pondok pesantren sidogiri yaitu dengan sebutan toko Basmallah dimana toko ini mengusung sistem syariah atau islam. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah produk memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat beli masyarakat di toko Basmallah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Statistik uji parsial pengaruh Produk terhadap minat beli memiliki nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,001 ˂ 0,05 dan nilai thitung sebesar 3.509 ˃2,011 rtabel, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan ada pengaruh signifikan produk terhadap minat beli dinyatakan diterima. Bahasa Arab di Indonesia diawali oleh kehadiran agama Islam. Bahasa Arab terus berkembang sehingga memuncul istilah pesantren, yang mana buku pegangan berbahsa Arab mulai digunakan, bahkan bahasa Arab menjadi bahasa yang diterapkan sehari-hari, di dalam dan luar kelas. Sehingga bahasa Arab semakin berkembang. Namun demikian, pembelajaran bahasa Arab cenderung tergolong konvensional, belum sebanding dengan kemajuan teknologi pembelajaran bahasa asing lainnya. Berangkat dari masalah tersebut, peneliti akhirnya meneliti media podcast, karena melihat podcast adalah media yang baru yang diduga efektif untuk membantu kemajuan pembelajaran bahasa Arab, dan dari penilitian penerapan podcast dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab belum penah diteliti sebelumnya, sehingga penilitian ini diaharapkan dapat memberi warna baru bagi kemajuan pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Indonesia. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode pre-exsperimen one-group Pretest-posttest. Penelitian ini memiliki sampel kelas satu LPBA Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Al-Yasini Pasuruan Jawa Timur dengan 15 siswa yang diperoleh memlalui teknik purposive sampling. penelitian ini dilakukan selama empat kali sesuai KBM dari Lembaga, dua penelitian pertama tidak menggunakan media podcast, dan dua penelitian selanjutnya menggunakan media podcast. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaan media podcast memiliki pengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemamapuan istima’ para siswa.

Pesantren possesses a plus value to boost the idea of “go green” through its education system. Forest Watch reveals that Indonesia has lost its 18,91 millions hectare of forest since 2001 till 2014. In other words, Indonesia is on the fifth rank getting away from its big canopies. Based on this matter, some pesantren in Indonesia has taught their students to love their nature by doing real actions. Pondok Pesantren Al-Yasini in Pasuruan, Roudlotut Tholibin in Bojonegoro, Assiddiqiyah 11 in Lampung, Nu War in Bekasi, and Ridho Alloh in Temanggung have been taking an action to plant hundred thousands of trees. These achievements are pronounced through online mass media using the power of language to inspire audiences as campaign. The reciprocal correlation between environment and language is examined through an eco-linguistic study. Here, the change of language used represents the ecological change. Having to do with this issue, this dialectical ecolinguistic analysis is intended to elaborate lingual units standing for certain meanings. Collecting the data through green discourse news texts, this study confirms that dialectical eco-linguistic approach, covering three dimensions of social praxis i.e., ideological, social, and biological dimensions, related with eco-pesantren influences the people involved i.e. its speakers and readers; therefore, their attitude toward the environment is constructive e.g. being eager in planting trees

In order to further deepen the social accountability of the process, then the researchers used a qualitative research method with approach case studies boarding school Sidogiri Pasuruan. As for the analysis tools used are interactive analysis. As noted, there are more and more accountability role played in ancient civilizations and pre-modern societies. Therefore, at this time, the case for tracing the genealogy of accountability as a follow up said is best seen as a presumption that requires further examination. One of them is about the accountability of boarding schools which is rich in religious values and culture as a form of the spread of Islam. The dynamic life of boarding schools has been proven with the involvement of active participation in providing service to the community and many aspects of life that always accompany it. Interestingly, in terms of financial resources, the pesantren depends not only on the parents of the students, but also other sources of funding. The existence of this mandate, then boarding schools are definitely required to conduct financial accountability. These principles are very in line with the principles of Islamic law. It is closely related to surat Al-Baqarah verse 282 and 283 goals for the benefit of the people, i.e. If there is a transaction then write so that measurements obtained in a fair manner, not preferential treatment and is not reduced (ash-Syu'ara v. 181-184). Can be said to forbid these forms of transactions contrary to the Shariah.

Abstract Pesantren or as usually assosiated to an Islamic boarding school is one kind of typical Indonesian Islamic education established by the community. In the process, most of the islamic boarding school seeks to respond to the demands of the times by modernizing its institution by establishing formal educational institutions ranging from pre-schools to higher education level. Besides, several islamic boarding schools try to remain its original characteristics as islamic educational institutions that focuses on tafaqquh fi al-din (religion deepening), which teaches the students how to understand the content of yellow book. Islamic boarding schools that seeks to combine the two dimension, while maintaining its identity as an educational institution that tafaqquh fi al-din but on the other hand also adopted the formal education system, especially higher education is then popularly known as integrated boarding school. This study was interesting to get further investigation in order to analyze and find the concepts and models of management of integrated educational between islamic boarding school and college and the implications for improving the quality of its graduates. This study used a qualitative approach with multisite study as its research design. Finally, the study concluded that the concept of integrated education initiated by Ma'had Dalwa Bangil and Pondok Ngalah Purwosari consist of two different concepts, namely "the concept of systemic integration" that defined as an idea that want to integrate all components of the education system in both institutions, by integrated the educators, learners, curriculum, and the building or other facilities. The second concept is "organic integration”, it is about the idea that want to integrate the spiritualistic value inside the pesantren education and the values of college intellectuals. The concept of integrated education both systemic and organic has been implemented in two models: "structural model" and "cultural model". Structural model is a model that try to synthesizes boarding institution's organizational structure, while the cultural model is done by creating a culture in the two institutions that show balanced condition between spirituality and intellectuality. The two models have improved the quality of graduates at both institutions. Dalam prosesnya, sebagian besar pondok pesantren berupaya merespons tuntutan zaman dengan memodernisasi lembaganya dengan mendirikan lembaga pendidikan formal mulai dari pra-sekolah hingga tingkat pendidikan tinggi. Selain itu, beberapa pondok pesantren mencoba untuk tetap karakteristik aslinya sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berfokus pada tafaqquh fi al-din (pendalaman agama), yang mengajarkan siswa bagaimana memahami isi buku kuning. Pesantren yang berupaya menggabungkan dua dimensi, sambil mempertahankan identitasnya sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang tafaqquh fi al-din tetapi di sisi lain juga mengadopsi sistem pendidikan formal, khususnya pendidikan tinggi yang kemudian dikenal dengan sebutan pondok pesantren terintegrasi. Penelitian ini menarik untuk mendapatkan investigasi lebih lanjut untuk menganalisis dan menemukan konsep dan model manajemen pendidikan terintegrasi antara pondok pesantren dan perguruan tinggi Islam serta implikasinya untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi multisite sebagai desain penelitiannya. Akhirnya, penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa konsep pendidikan terintegrasi yang diprakarsai oleh Ma'had Dalwa Bangil dan Pondok Ngalah Purwosari terdiri dari dua konsep yang berbeda, yaitu "konsep integrasi sistemik" yang didefinisikan sebagai gagasan yang ingin mengintegrasikan semua komponen pendidikan. sistem di kedua lembaga, dengan mengintegrasikan para pendidik, peserta didik, kurikulum, dan bangunan atau fasilitas lainnya. Konsep kedua adalah "integrasi organik", yaitu tentang gagasan yang ingin mengintegrasikan nilai spiritual dalam pendidikan pesantren dan nilai-nilai intelektual perguruan tinggi. Namun di tengah arus globalisasi yang begitu pesat ini, justru kondisi sebagian besar pesantren di Indonesia mengalami degradasi kualitas pembelajaran yang luar biasa, bahkan banyak yang ‘gulung tikar’. Dalam konteks itulah, upaya mengem­bangkan model manajemen mutu pembelajaran entrepreneurship berbasis sistem nilai di sejumlah pesantren di Indonesia, menjadi sangat urgen se­bagai upaya memunculkan prototipe ‘pesantren nusantara masa depan’ yang lebih kokoh akan tradisi keilmuan, dan kewirausahaan (entrepre­neurship) sekaligus yang ditopang oleh nilai-nilai keilmuan, profesionalitas dan kepesantrenan yang integratif, sehingga ke depan mampu menjadi pondok pesantren yang lebih kompetitif dalam percaturan dunia pendidikan global. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa: (1). Sistem nilai yang dikembangkan oleh Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri Pasuruan dalam mendukung manajemen entreprenuershipnya mencakup 3 komponen, yaitu profesio­nalitas, keilmuan dan kepesantrenan; (2). The development of Islamic financial industries, especially Islamic Banking in Indonesia, needs the contribution of educational institution in creating professional in the field. There are two categories of education in Indonesia, formal and non-formal education. In formal education, Islamic economics education taught in higher education since 1990s followed by primary and secondary education who pioneered by Tasikmalaya’s government in West Java since 2006. In non-formal education, Islamic economics education taught in Pesantren since 16 centuries in the old fashion called fiqh muamalah. However, this study find that Pesantren Sidogiri, the oldest non-formal and traditional Islamic educational institution in East Java has launced in Islamic Economics program since 2005 in the new fashion but still maintaining old tradition eg. teaching materials from kitab kuning, and others. Pesantren Sidogiri creating new educational program called “muamalah program”. In this program, santri trains in modern economic sistem called Islamic economics. The choise of developing education program is based on the need of the community where the pesantren operates. The curriculum developed by Pesantren based own initiative under supervision of tarbiayah wa taklim madrasiy board where subjects are different and not follow the national curriculum as public schools in Indonesia.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proyeksi kelayakan industri pengemasan minyak goreng sawit. Analisa kuantitatif penelitian ini menggunakan variabel terukur yakni RC Ratio dengan data yang diperoleh melalui survey dan data yang sudah tersedia dari berbagai sumber. RC Ratio diasumsikan mampu memproyeksikan suatu industri layak untuk dioperasikan lebih lanjut. Analisis kuantitatif sebagai teknik yang memanfaatkan hasil wawancara dan data di lapangan, diperlukan keilmuan decision-making dalam memilih metode yang akan diterapkan. Pelaksanaan metode digunakan RC Ratio dengan ketersediaan data total penerimaan dan total biaya dala suatu bisnis usaha. Pada penelitian ini dapat diketahui pendapatan usaha pengemasan minyak goreng sawit yang dilakukan PT. Sidogiri Mandiri Utama dalam satu periode (1 bulan) sebesar Rp. 574.800.000. Usaha pengemasan minyak goreng sawit yang dilakukan oleh PT. Sidogiri Mandiri Utama adalah layak secara finansial, dengan nilai R/C sebesar 1,05.

Education is the need of every human being. Education is useful for developing self-potential. One form of education in Indonesia is the education of Islamic boarding schools as known as Pondok pesantren. Pondok Pesantren does not only teach education at schools in general but also integrate the knowledge of Islam religion in the education system. Nowadays, the condition of young Muslims is very alarming due to the inability to face the flow of globalization and thus losing its Muslim identity. As a result, there is a moral decline that leads to deviant behavior, especially concerning Islamic values. To overcome this problem, Pondok Pesantren education can be a solution. In this study two samples of famous Pondok Pesantren in Indonesia were taken, namely Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor and Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri. We use literature study methods from various journals that discuss the importance of Pondok Pesantren. As a step to deepen the material, an interview was held with an Ustadz (Islamic religious teacher) who had conducted research at various Pondok pesantren in Indonesia. The results of this study obtained 3 values and teaching lifestyles that can be applied from Pondok Pesantren, namely the formation of identity, sensitivity to society, and efforts to make changes in society without losing identity. The two Pondok Pesantren teaches the formation of a good identity to their santri (students of pesantren) so that they are not easily carried away by the negative effects of globalization. In addition, it also teaches how to behave socially in the community so that they can apply the knowledge gained in Pondok Pesantren and become agents of change in people's lives. Thus, the education system of Pondok Pesantren can be used as a means of forming the identity of young Muslims as a provision to face the current of globalization.

Consider from the physical structure, initially, pesantren has three buildingsor facilities that are the mosque, majlis-taklim and house of Kyai. The third building is a building for education space. Along with the development in the peripheral of pesantren environment currently emerging business space.This paper discusses the development of pesantren space, using the conditions of pesantren in the late 19th century to the present. The discussion using an arrangement of the history and growth of pesantren space by taking the case at Sidogiri Pesantren, Pasuruan, East Java.This paper uses a constructivist approach that is hermeneutic and dialectical where the individual social construction can acquire and known through interactions between researcher and actors of research. In addition, this study also emphasizes empathy and dialectic interaction between researchers and informants in order to reconstruct the social reality under study with qualitative methods. The survey results of the research revealed that the emerging new spaces at the pesantren that is the internal business space and external business collaboration space that complements the mosque, majlis taklim and house of Kyai who had been already there. The new of economy spaces (business spaces), and with the community formed can be a tool for survival strategy of Pesantren. Even to this day pesantren persist with the principles of Islamic, but remains on the threat of consequences: without the moral control of religion, and the charisma of kyai, Pesantren can be a greedy capitalist machine as generally.<br />Keywords: transformation, economic space, pesantren</p><p>ABSTRAK<br />Sepanjang sejarahnya pesantren bukanlah entitas stagnan. Pesantren telah mengalami berbagai kebersinggungan dari awal sejarahnya hingga saat ini. Pesantren yang pada awalnya adalah sebuah lembaga dengan ruang-ruang yang sederhana kini berubah menjadi lembaga dengan kompleksitas ruang. Dilihat dari struktur fisik, pada awalnya pesantren mempunyai tiga bangunan atau fasilitas yaitu masjid, majlis taklim dan rumah Kyai. Ketiga bangunan tersebut merupakan bangunan untuk ruang pendidikan. Seiring dengan perkembangan, saat ini di lingkungan pesantren muncul ruang-ruang bisnis. Tulisan ini membahas mengenai perkembangan ruang pesantren, menggunakan kondisi pesantren pada akhir abad 19 hingga saat ini. Pembahasan menggunakan Setting sejarah dan pertumbuhan ruang pesantren dengan mengambil contoh kasus di Pondok Pesantren Sidogiri, Pasuruan Jawa Timur. Tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivis yang bersifat hermeunetikal dan dialektikal dimana konstruksi sosial individu dapat diperoleh dan diketahui melalui interaksi antara peneliti dan tineliti. Di samping itu, penelitian ini juga menekankan empati dan interaksi dialektif antara peneliti dan informan dalam rangka merekonstruksi realitas sosial yang diteliti dengan metode kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa muncul ruang-ruang baru di pesantren yaitu ruang usaha internal dan ruang kolaborasi bisnis eksternal yang melengkapi ruang masjid, majlis taklim dan rumah kyai yg selama ini sudah ada.Ruang-ruang ekonomi baru (ruang bisnis) dan pembentukan komunitas telah menjadi sebuah alat dan strategi kebertahanan pesantren. Sekalipun sampai saat ini pesantren bertahan dengan prinsip keislaman, namun tetap pada ancaman konsekuensi: ketika terjadi pelemahan pada kontrol moral dari pengajaran agama, dan kharisma kyai yang dimilikinya, maka pesantren dapat menjadi mesin kapitalisme yang serakah sebagaimana umumnya.<br />Kata kunci: transformasi, ruang ekonomi pesantren</p>
