Abstract:
Syftet med studien är att belysa hur olika lärare i årskurs 1–3 beskriver att de pedagogiskt arbetar med poetiska texter i sin svenskundervisning samt hur lärarna uppfattar detta arbete med särskilt fokus på att främja läsflyt. För att besvara syftet har följande frågeställningar använts:  ·       Hur beskriver lärarna att de pedagogiskt arbetar med sånger, lyrik, rim och ramsor i svenskundervisningen?  ·       Vilka uppfattningar och upplevelser har lärarna kring det pedagogiska arbetet med sånger, lyrik, rim och ramsor i svenskundervisningen?  ·       Hur beskriver lärarna sin syn på att arbeta med poetiska texter för att utveckla elevernas läsflyt?  Studien genomfördes genom kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer med 6 lärare i årskurs 1–3, lärarna arbetade på 5 olika skolor i Mellansverige. Resultatet visade att samtliga lärare anser att deras inställning och engagemang i arbetet med poetiska texter har betydelse för elevernas möjlighet till lärande inom området. Lärarna ställer sig positiva till att använda poetiska texter i klassrummet trots detta används inte dessa texter för att främja läsflyt. Den sociokulturella teorin ligger till grund för studiens teoretiska ramverk.
The purpose of the study was to display how different teachers in grades 1–3 describe their pedagogically work with poetic texts in their teaching and how teachers perceive this work with a special focus to promote reading fluency. To answer the purpose, the following questions have been used:  ·       How do the teachers describe their pedagogically work with songs, lyrics, rhymes and chants while teaching Swedish? ·        What perceptions and experiences do the teachers have about the pedagogical work with songs, lyrics, rhymes and chants while teaching Swedish? ·        How do teachers describe their view of working with poetic texts to develop students' reading fluency? The study was conducted through qualitative semi-structured interviews with 6 teachers in grades 1–3, the teachers worked at 5 different schools in Central Sweden. The results shows that all of the teachers believed that their attitude and commitment when working with poetic texts are important for students' opportunities for learning in the field. The teachers have a positive attitude towards working with poetic texts in the classroom, however, the teachers do not use these texts to promote reading fluency. The socio-cultural theory is the basis for the study's theoretical framework.

Abstract:
The master thesis deals with the work of the Austrian playwright Werner Schwab, who wrote most of his plays during the first half of the 1990s. Its aim is to provide an analysis of his theatre plays. The thesis pays a special attention to his in the Czech contextwell-known cycle Fäkaliendramen (Fecal plays). Schwab's writing represents a new way of writing, so called post-dramatic theatre plays.  The thesis looks at Schwab's  theatre language by dramaturgically analysing his most renowned theatre plays Die Präsidentinnen, Die Volksvernichtung oder Mein Leber ist sinnlos, Übergewicht, unwichtig: Unform, Mein Hundemund and also Pornogeographie in a critical way, it reflects the author’s innovative approach towards the category of dramatic conflict and dramatic language. The thesis also outlines an historical context which served as a platform for the birth of a specific artistic form of Austrian drama after the Second World War.

Baseado na funÃÃo poÃtica, tal como assentada por Jakobson, analisamos as seguintes composiÃÃes de Caetano Veloso: o quereres, meu bem meu mal, pipoca moderna, odara, luz do sol e chuva suor e cerveja. Tentamos investigar nÃo apenas aspectos estruturais derivados da definiÃÃo da funÃÃo poÃtica, mas tambÃm os fundamentos semÃnticos. Estes implicam dois conjuntos de noÃÃes bÃsicas: denotaÃÃo x conotaÃÃo; dicionÃrio x enciclopÃdia. O texto à o ponto de partida que orienta a anÃlise dos itens lexicais. Assim, tivemos de abandonar as concepÃÃes semÃnticas que apÃiam o dicionÃrio, fundamentado em palavras isoladas. Conforme o ponto de vista textual, o sentido de uma palavra emerge do contexto, o que nÃo implica que alguns aspectos estabelecidos e consolidados do sentido nÃo devam ser levados em consideraÃÃo. Antes de considerar as perspectivas formais e semÃnticas referentes aos lexemas, enfocamos cada texto como um todo, a fim de tornar a anÃlise enxuta e clara.
Based on the poetic function as stated by Jakobson, I analyse the following compositions by Caetano Veloso: o quereres, meu bem meu mal, pipoca moderna odara, luz do sol and chuva suor e cerveja. I try to investigate not only structural aspects derived from the definition of the poetic function itself but also semantic grounds. These ones imply two groups of basic notions: denotation x connotation; dictionary x encyclopaedia. Text is the starting point that guides the analysis of the lexical itens. So I had to leave the semantic conceptions that support dictionary founded on isolated words. According to the textual point of view, the meaning of a word emerges from the context, which does not imply some established aspects of meaning should not be taken into account. Before formal and/or semantic considerations concerning the lexemes, I focus each text as a whole in order to make my analysis terse and clear.

Abstract:
Vi använder oss dagligen av ett rikt bildspråk med hjälp av t ex metafor. Senaste forskning har visat att bildspråket har en stor betydelse i vårt sätt att tanka och kommunicera med varandra. Samtidigt är bildspråket betraktas som en slag avvikelse i vårt sätt att kommunicera och tänka som anser ske på en bokstavlig nivå. Jag blev intresserad av att utforska denna dikotomi och i en viss mån ville jag gestalta den i mitt projekt. Jag ville undersöka om det finns ett sätt som anses vara mest effektiv för att remediera en poetisk text till ett visuellt medium. Jag skapade två filmer med ett identiskt ljudspår som innehåller en musik komponerad för en poetisk högläsning.  Genom att förhålla mig till textens innehåll på olika sätt i skapandet av mitt bildmaterial försökte jag undersöka frågan och även utforska om manliga och kvinnliga deltagare skiljer sig åt i deras respektive mottagande av de två filmerna.

Abstract:
Ingeborg Bachmann’s recurrent references to the Spanish painter Francisco de Goya have frequently been noted, but have so far never been investigated. After outlining, in chapter one, Bachmann’s references to Goya in her thesis on Wittgenstein as well as in the Franza-Fragment and in her only novel Malina, this thesis sets out to highlight the text-image relation between Bachmann’s novel Malina and Goya’s series of murals which are known as the so called „Black Paintings“. Chapter two focuses on the importance of intertextuality and intermediality in Bachmann’s novel and the importance of quotation for the female narrator, who relies on intertextual and intermedial references to express her traumatic experiences. After an introduction into the aesthetics of Goya, in chapter three, chapters four and five examine the text-image relation between Goya’s painting El Perro Semihundido and the first chapter in Bachmann’s novel. The double perspective contained in El Perro, of the subjective expression of the dog’s longing for rescue and the objective futility of this hope as expressed by the dog’s positioning against the abstract background setting, is transferred onto the female narrator and her longing to be rescued through love. Chapter five especially focuses on the (problematic) semantic shifts which occur in the course of this transformation from an abstract representation in the painting to the depiction of concrete and personalized experiences in the text. Chapter six investigates the correlations between Bachmann’s dream chapter and the aesthetics of Goya’s murals, and asks to what extent Bachmann succeeds in transferring the main motifs in Goya’s images into literary form. Chapter seven explores the similarities and media-specific differences in the strategies deployed for depicting madness, violence and destruction in Bachmann’s text and in Goya’s murals and his series of prints on the Desasters of War. Bachmann’s novel Malina shows an extraordinary richness in intertextual and intermedial references. Analysing the explicit as well as implicit references to Goya’s late works in the novel this thesis addresses one area on Ingeborg Bachmann which has not been researched in detail so far.

Abstract:
My dissertation is the first systematic study to bring together contemporary legal and literary theory to the analysis of the legal texts of Spain in the New World. By focusing on the Capitulaciones de Santa Fe (1492), and other legal documents, I argue that this legal corpus is also a narrative construct which blurs the distinction between fact and fiction. My purpose is to explore the rhetorical dimension of legal writing as a process of emplotment of colonial encounters. The poetics of legal narrative will be examined applying the theory of "law as literature," a recent cross-disciplinary approach. My point is that all the strategies and approaches developed in the field of colonial literary studies have neglected to examine this corpus of laws as cultural production. Nevertheless, it is precisely rhetoric which provides an accessible medium for exploring the connection between law and literature. My point is that colonial legislation can be understood in its complexity only when it is realized that legal discourse is not merely conceptual--that is, not reducible to a set of definitions--but also literary, by which I mean that its metaphorical and associative quality derives precisely of the need to address the question of imposing principles of social control, which are at the center of any legislative controversy. In other words, Spain's legislation in America should be studied not only as a set of rules or institutions, but as a kind of discursive practice of cultural dominance. This methodological approach is based on the assumption that a nexus between law and literature was at the center of the Conquest of America. Finally, I will conclude by summarizing the objectives of my work. This study should help to increase our understanding of the relation between law and literature. Cataloguing legal texts as new objects of study within Colonial Literature, invites us to raise new research questions which, among other things, challenges the category of what we consider as "colonial texts." The methodological consequences of this broadening of the range of objects of study represents an enrichment of perspectives in colonial literary studies.

It also deals with the description of the specific atributs typical for certain kind of authors. The thesis is based on hermeneutics and poetics or stylistics.

Abstract:
The diploma thesis focuses on small scene theaters which developed in the 1950s and represent a unique generational movement within the Czech cultural framework. This final project aims to describe the distinctive poetics of two of the Czech small theaters - the theatre Semafor and Studio Ypsilon. The description itself is based on the analysis of the original dramatic texts produced by their main representatives, Jiří Suchý and Jan Schmid. The thesis opens with the domain of the small scene theaters as such, its definition and characteristics. In order to provide a comprehensive perspective on the matter, the authorial theater and its specifics is further discussed. The main part of this thesis then concentrates on the origins of the two theaters, their profiles during the period of 1960s to 1990s and, eventually, their present form. Finally, despite the different conditions of existence of the two theaters, and the cultural, historical and political context, a comparison of the two poetics is proposed. The main topic of this document is singer Jaromir Nohavica. I would like to describe the evolution of his poetics. The primary goal is to establish, that the year of revolution - 1989 is the critical impulse to his production. Reader is briefly introduced to Jaromir Nohavica's life, but also acquaint with concepts like popular culture and kitsch. Basically I focuse on Jaromir Nohavica's song poetics interpretation. The specific examples show that Nohavica shift towards the mainstream of popular literature, in thematic level, in level of production and presentation himself in the way of rendering Jaromir Nohavica, compared to songwriters of his time, does not lose the audience, he can beraised according to the new conditions and new age.

Abstract:
The thesis deals with life and particularly works of William Blake, one of the most prominent representatives of English poetry and art. His work stems from his dissatisfaction and resistance to religious and secular doctrines. He is known as an original poet, an engraver and a painter, a graphic artist and an illustrator, as well as a mystic and a visionary. In the midst of the birth of the modern world, during the War of Independence, the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution, he considered his talent for design and his predispositions of the Old Testament prophets a direct inspiration for him and his prophetic mission. He identified with all types of oppression and enslavement of humanity and tried to gibbet them in his works. He mainly criticised repressed sexuality, which according to him leads to wars, industrialism and perverted science. The apocalyptic character of many of his works is closely related to the time in which he lived and worked. These are mainly so-called prophetic books, which he also printed, and in which he used synthesis of artistic means. Most of his life he spent in poverty and solitude, misunderstood and despised. This reassured him of his real prophetic destiny. Blake?s work became an inspiration for following generations of artists; but only the 20th century fully discovered him and understood the importance of his prophetic vision. Blake sees a redemptive power of the real art, which helps cleanse people?s inner eyes, and gives them the opportunity to be freed from enslaving forces.

This thesis concentrates on the phenomenon of theatre adaptation of films in context of czech contemporary theatre. It's goal is - on examples of theatre transcriptions of Lars von Trier's films - to capture and describe difficult process of adaptation, which is wageing during the transformation of films and film texts into their theatre versions. During the process of analyses, we will try to trace not only the concrete transfigurations, but to name possible approaches and techniques revelating during the act of adaptation.
