Abstract:
A new article by Ukrainian experts in ethno-pedagogy for the first time in science maximally summarizes the neuro-pedagogical, psychological and social potential of human development through the reproduction of folk games. The aim of the article is not only to consider the thematic diversity, but also to demonstrate how Ukrainian folk children's games and ancient adult games have a natural influence on the formation of worldview, socialization and maturity with the involvement of physical, neurophysiological and psycho-pedagogical mechanisms. Using general scientific, historical and neuroscientific methods, we proved the imitative, compensatory, sublimational, imitative, ritual and entertaining nature of folk games. Within the limits and possibilities available to the authors, neuroscientific commentary is presented to substantiate the underlying functions and mechanisms of folk games. The main result of the article is the creation of the fullest possible classification of the developing educational potential of folk games at two levels of generalization (general pedagogical aspects and specific functions). The authors were also able to review related literature on the topic, identify valuable observations and gnostic lacunas in need of scientific explication and ekplanatornost.

Abstract:
Affective factors play an integral role in English language learning. If we want to be successful in teaching language writing, we need to look into these socio-psychological factors of students. There is a correlation between self-efficacy and writing anxiety that directly influences students’ writing performance. Students’ self-confidence in writing can minimize the anxiety. Pedagogically, methods are chosen specially by teachers, because of acquisition and learning of writing skills of students.

Abstract:
The article presents the results of an empirical study aimed at determining the most effective play therapy technique for the psychological correction of a high level of anxiety, as a leading element of the structure of the psychological safety of the personality of primary schoolchildren during the period of their adaptation to school education. Recently, the problem of psychologi-cal safety of the personality of students has been in the area of increased attention. There is more and more scientific research aimed at studying various aspects of this phenomenon. One of these aspects is to ensure the psychological safety of the individual in different periods of training. The most psychologically difficult period is the period of adaptation of the child to the educational process. The presented article is devoted to the study of this aspect. Four hundred first-graders with a high level of anxiety, which was determined during the control diagnostics, took part in the work. The work used empirical methods and methods of mathematical statistics. At the formative stage of the work, all first-graders were divided into four groups: con-trol and three experimental. In each of the experimental groups with children, psychological correction of one of the play therapy techniques was carried out: non-directive, directive, and integrative, respectively. Upon completion of the formative stage of the study, a control diagno-sis of the level of anxiety in first-graders in the control and all experimental groups was carried out. The results of studying the dynamics of the level of anxiety as a leading element of the struc-ture of the psychological safety of a person after psychological correction made it possible to identify the most effective techniques of the method of play therapy. The data obtained allow us to speak about the presence of statistically significant differences in the experimental group, where play therapy of the integrative type was used. The results of the level of anxiety in first-graders in the experimental group, where psychological correction was carried out by the method of non-directive play therapy, demonstrate less significant differences. The level of anxi-ety in first-graders in the experimental group, where the method of directive play therapy was used, did not statistically significantly differ from the data of students in the control group, where psychological correction was not carried out.

Abstract:
Massively multiplayer games (MMOs) are immersive virtual three-dimensional fantasy worlds in which people cooperate and compete with each other, as well as with the computer-generated denizens of that particular game world. Although typically seen as games, their strong social aspect suggests that they are a form of online communication tool, with which players interact to form friendships, create communities, and work together to accomplish a variety of goals. After an introduction to MMOs, this review explores how social aspects of the game imitate the real world in terms of choices that players make when interacting with others. Furthermore, player-to-player interactions are examined in terms of in-game group formation and how efficient communication is imperative for goal achievement. The review also explores how leadership skills learned in-game may be transferred to real-world scenarios. The reasons why people play MMOs are examined in terms of player motivations and how aspects of game play may have both positive and negative consequences for a player's well-being. The latter half of the review describes how MMOs are used as afterschool virtual teaching environments where students can use aspects of game play to learn, for example, leadership qualities. The review concludes with recommendations for using MMOs as virtual laboratories to explore aspects of human behavior.

Abstract:
An adult learner of a foreign language (a university student) has to overcome various psychological inhibitions in order to master a foreign language and be able to communicate effectively in it. A lot depends on a student’s attitude towards learning, their motivation, the aim of learning a foreign language, previous learningexperience, previous methods applied by previous teachers. All of these factors play an important role in the way a language learner will approach their language learning as well as in the degree of autonomy of a given individual. Modern technologies together with the internet and the access to mobile applications may help a language learner in developing their autonomy in L2 or L3 language acquisition. However, the way these modern technologies are used and the way the student’s autonomy is developed, also depends on the language teacher.

Abstract:
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease with systemic manifestation, in which psychological factors play an important role. The etiology of psoriasis is complex and multifactorial, including genetic background and environmental factors such as emotional or physical stress. Psychological stress may also play a role in exacerbation of psoriasis, by dysregulation of the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal (HPA) axis, sympathetic–adrenal–medullary axis, peripheral nervous system, and immune system. Skin cells also express various neuropeptides and hormones in response to stress, including the fully functional analog of the HPA axis. The deterioration of psoriatic lesions is accompanied by increased production of inflammatory mediators, which could contribute to the imbalance of neurotransmitters and the development of symptoms of depression and anxiety. Therefore, deregulation of the crosstalk between endocrine, paracrine, and autocrine stress signaling pathways contributes to clinical manifestations of psoriasis, which requires multidisciplinary approaches.

Abstract:
Cannabis is seen among general population as an “anti-depressive drug”. Many papers have been published in the field of investigation about the relationship between cannabis use and affective disorders. We pretend to find the aspect of the psychological consequences of cannabis use.MethodsUsing Pubmed and PsychInfo, we conducted a narrative review of the literature on cannabis and psychiatric comorbidity using the keywords cannabis, psychosis, mood, depression, mania, bipolar, and anxiety.ResultsThere is substantial evidence of an association between cannabis use and psychosis. A few reports suggest an association with bipolar disorder while the association with depression and anxiety disorders is mixed.ConclusionsThe present review confirms earlier findings of an association between cannabis use and a lower age at onset. Data shows that cannabis use, beginning in the adolescence and with a frequency higher than once a week, correlates with the development in adult age of affective symptoms and/or disorder, mainly in bipolar disorder, with a moderate relation with Depressive spectrum. Even more, some authors hypothesize that cannabis may play a role in the development of the disorder, that to say, affective disorder would not appear in the absence of cannabis use. The current findings suggest that recent cannabis use is associated with a more severe course of illness in the early phase of BD I.Recent cannabis use was also associated with more lifetime suicide attempts.Disclosure of interestThe authors have not supplied their declaration of competing interest.

Abstract:
The problems of checking and experimental verification for new knowledge remain relevant since foundation and development of scientific psychology. Historical evidence of this is the long and permanent methodological disagreements between the leading psychological branches (such as behaviorism, psychoanalysis, gestalt psychology, psychosynthesis, activity psychology, cognitive psychology, psychophysiology, coaching) and most other psychological branches. The absence of a methodological architectonics universal for psychology, an optimal design of checking and experimental verification for new scientific knowledge causes deserved criticism and comments on the objectivity of psychological research. The problems of checking and verifying new psychological knowledge are primarily associated with the dominance of the laboratory-experimental method in science; presumption of a causal model of scientific rationality; neglect of the possibilities of the intelligible multidisciplinary mode for scientific objectivism; perceived as secondary potentials and advantages of postnonclassical scientific rationality as well as factors of volatility of changes in social experience, features of the post-industrial (information) society and postmodern reality. The expressive features of the psychological research for actual objects of scientific knowledge are related to the fact that the most complex objects are phenomena that in the scientific sense are of fundamental importance as cultural universals, objects of the intelligible reality of eternal entities (Aristotle, Averoes (Ibn Rushd), I. Kant, J.-F. Herbart , E. Husserl, etc.). For example: communication, labor, socialization, intersubjectiveness, power, emergentness, creativity, collective knowledge, love, civilization, game, synchrony, moral act, disposition, social value, group reflection, collective unconscious, command spirit, attractiveness, trust, discourse, narrative and other. Also, these objects have an important region-generative value (E. Huserl), expressive epistemological (M. Foucault), cultural-historical (L. Vygotsky) and diachronic (F. de Saussure) aspects of scientific knowledge. The gnoseological content and volume, other features of cultural universals, similar to the games phenomenon, objectively complicate the content and choice of scientific research criteria, the standards for the representativeness of the empirical sample, the content, order and protocols of valid data correlation. Under such conditions, the presumption and dominance of the classical naturalistic experimental method (natural or laboratory experiment) is a untrustworthy and conditionally reliable methodological basis. The presented objective problems of modern systems of empirical verification for the results of psychological research, in particular, the problems of the game, require the search for more reliable foundations for the methodological program of verification for scientific knowledge. Important aspects of such a search are also the need to take into account the characteristics of the post-industrial (information) society and postmodern reality in psychological cognition, to use the advantages of postnonclassical scientific rationality. The important scientific contribution is the universality of such a program in relation to promising psychological research, as well as, if necessary, to the revision of existing scientific knowledge. The implementation of such tasks (on the example of the reconstruction for the games psychological field) makes it possible to use the status and role of a psychological tool for a methodological facility, which is ontological designing (the names “formal ontologization” and “ontological engineering” are used synonymously). In the circumstances of psychological research, ontological designing is a specially organized intelligible descriptive method for experimental verification of the results of psychological research. The product of applying the methodology of ontological designing in the circumstances of the games psychological research is the formation of an epistemological intelligible substrate – a descriptive cognitive field of the scientific object “game” with a verification function for this field. Because of the formation for a games psychological research on the basis of ontological designing and the universal norms of the categorical matrix for modern socio-humanitarian theory (the levels of “concrete”, “single”, “special”, “general” and “universal”), epistemic, hermeneutic heredity of psychological knowledge, rational empiricism is also possible. In the framework of the our research, ontological designing is: a) the psychological method of descriptive reconstruction of scientific knowledge; b) a facility of verifying the results of a psychological research for the scientific object “game”; c) a productive program for completing the games psychological research as a universal, a fundamental polyphenomenon that has a distinct non-spatial and timeless socio-psychological genesis, a complex structure and functionalism; d) the thinking style of a modern scientist for a socio-humanitarian profile in the circumstances of fleeting changes in empirical material; e) a facility for creating an architectonic intelligible model-matrix of a cognitively full-weighted, harmoniously structured, optimally exhaustive, logically balanced, hermeneutical coherent, epistemically relevant, constructively understandable games psychological field. The scientific basis for the methodological modernization of the norms for verifying the results of the games psychological research based on ontological designing is the approaches that implement the program of philosophical apriorism and logicism, the methodological positions of analytical philosophy, postnonclassical-oriented principles, approaches, facilities, tools and standards of psychological knowledge. The ontological model of the games psychological field includes five levels for scientific empirical conceptualization: 1) the level of the concrete, one-time empirical natural science fact of the hic et nunc game (a naturalistic empirical fact established “here and now” through the latest, fresh natural or laboratory experiment); 2) the level of the single, separate games manifestations in its epistemic, cultural-historical empiricism (the experience of empirical facts “here and now” – experiment, the results of past naturalistic facts available to the researcher); 3) the level of the distinctive, special explications of the games invariants, depending on the different ontogenetic conditions of such a manifestation (age dependencies; features of human development, stages of his socialization, social and professional self-realization, etc.); 4) the level of the general, common attributes and modes of the games explications, present in each fact of the entire play-based empiricism of the current and previous cultural-historical range accessible to the researcher; 5) the level of the universal – the level of attributes of the games phenomenon, which do not depend on existential, primarily chronological, spatial, situational prerequisites and are inherent in any, even imaginary, simulated, probable the games manifestation. Such foundations make it possible to synchronize the diachronic and synchronous aspects of the historical-rational process of the scientific knowledge for the game in a general research program. The formalized structural composition and regularities of construction of the ontological model of the subject games area is based on an established set of entities connected by various relationships (thesaurus, term/concept, attribute of a concept, relation of concepts, class/set of terms/concepts, axioms/rules/constraints of concepts and their relations, instance, etc.). On the range of research conceptualization, according to the levels of the categorical matrix, such an designing order is optimally suitable for creating an architectonic intelligible model-matrix of the psychological field of the Game.

Abstract:
It is hypothesized that players of different levels of play might differ not only in their football skills but also in their way of playing football and with respect to psychological factors such as concentration, reaction time, or competitive anxiety. The psychological characteristics of a player might influence his way of playing football (in particular with respect to fair play) and also his risk of injury. A group of 588 football players were studied by questionnaire; additionally, reaction time tests were performed. Psychological characteristics were assessed by three established self-evaluation questionnaires: the Athletic Coping Skills Inventory, the State Competitive Anxiety Test, and the State-Trait-Anger-Expression-Inventory. Football-specific characteristics that were investigated included playing experience and positions played, style of play, number of training hours and games, as well as aspects of fair play. Reaction time was tested twice: without the influence of physical exercise and immediately after a 12-minute run. A significant reduction in reaction time was observed after physical exercise. In high-level players, the reaction time immediately after the 12-minute run was significantly shorter than it was in low-level players. The questionnaire answers given regarding fair play clearly indicated that fair play is not paid sufficient respect. The relationship between psychological characteristics and attitudes toward fair play was analyzed and discussed.

Abstract:
The modern process of education invariably undergoes a number of changes, adapting to the dynamics of socio-cultural development, technological progress and psychological characteristics of the modern generation of students. One of the most expressive and multifaceted areas in this context is the teaching of musical arts, and, in particular, piano playing. The piano, thanks to its history and capabilities, has long been a symbol of classical music and academic education in Russia. Learning to play this instrument carries not only aspects of technical training and musical literacy, but also affects deep psychological processes related to motivation, self-regulation and emotional development of the student. The Russian music education system has its own historical roots, forming a unique approach to learning. From the early methods of Nikolai Zaretsky to modern teachers, whose contribution to the development is invaluable, this process has always been at the crossroads of cultural, pedagogical and psychological traditions. Modern realities pose new challenges to teachers and students. The integration of digital technologies, changing sociocultural norms and expectations, as well as the globalization of the educational space require revision and adaptation of existing methods. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of the psychological aspect in learning to play the piano. Motivation, the formation of which is often determined by external and internal stimuli, plays a key role in the successful assimilation of material and the development of skills. In addition, the process of self-regulation, which allows the student to organize his educational activities, adapt it and evaluate the results, becomes one of the main factors for achieving success at any stage of learning. This study is aimed at an in-depth analysis of the psychological aspects of teaching children to play the piano in Russia. The intention to delve into the specifics of motivation and self-regulation, as well as to explore how these aspects interact with modern methods and challenges, is at the heart of this work.

Abstract:
This paper explores the link between play, an evolutionary and biological trait found in human behaviour and the fundamental human psychological needs; and its complex relationship with the game design principles in order to answer the following - why do people play games and what motivates them to do so? Answering these two questions would enable educational game designers to better understand game design principles for developing engaging educational games. This research will delve into the psychological aspects of play and attempt to link those aspects to game design elements. Studying Prensky’s six elements of successful games, the Octalysis gamification framework and the fundamental psychological needs, the paper will then present the findings of an exploratory and confirmatory survey from practicing game designers all around South-East Asia. The results of these findings give an overall positive and current result that provides a useful point of reference in order to create a game design model that would offer a set of guiding principles for educational game designers to create engaging gameplay.

Abstract:
IntroductionDyspareunia is defined as persistent or recurrent genital pain that occurs just before, during or after intercourse. Dyspareunia after childbirth is quite common and have a range of repercussions to women's lives, including their sexual functioning. It could be affected by different risk factors. While role of obstetric factors including mode of delivery has been largely investigated, the influence of psychosocial factors remains unclear.AimsOur purpose was to determine frequency of postpartum dyspareunia and identify related psychosocial factors.MethodsThirty women between 2 and 6 months postpartum were recruited in consultation of maternity and neonatology center of Tunis. Data were taken from medical file and questionnaire designed to record psychosocial data and postpartum sexual function.ResultsThe mean age of women was 28.74 ± 8.4 years. Dyspareunia was reported by 43.33% of women. Dyspareunia was not associated to professional status. On the other hand, dyspareunia was significantly associated to fatigue (P = 0.024), lack of familial support (P = 0.03), conjugal conflicts (P = 0.01).ConclusionWe have found an association between dyspareunia after childbirth and several psychosocial factors, pointing out the influence of social and psychological aspects in the sexual function in women. Thus, management of sexual disorders should take in consideration psychological dimension and involve an appropriate psychological care.Disclosure of interestThe authors have not supplied their declaration of competing interest.

Abstract:
Researchers have posited different types of engagement, distinguishing between behavioral, cognitive, and affective engagement and theoretical frameworks have helped explain the psychological aspects of engagement. However, game researchers should examine all types of engagement using multiple methodologies as a means to understand what students are learning from educational games during game play. Conclusive results require psychological aspects and learning characteristics to be considered, but also require a deeper understanding of the intricate links between learning and game mechanics for engagement. This article presents the findings from a qualitative study with thirty participants that focuses on the importance of affective and cognitive engagement during game play with educational games. To do this, the researchers used Ferran Alsina, a game that would help to develop learning competences of primary education skills. Researchers obtained the experiences of students through a game play session, basic game metrics, think-aloud protocol, observation and focus groups. Results shows that the game provided participants an active participation associated with both affective and cognitive engagement. Without attention to cognition the atuhors risk losing valuable data that relate to a student's learning. Researchers should consider multiple qualitative methodologies and game play experience analysis as student experiences are qualitative.

Abstract:
Although most football players recover good physical function after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery, some do not return to their sport or to the same pre-injury level, and there is a risk of recurrence. Therefore, this study aimed to examine research on psychological aspects of ACL rehabilitation and Return to Play (RTP), as well as their influence on possible recurrence in football and futsal players. The search was conducted using the Scopus, PubMed, WoS, CENTRAL databases, and grey literature sources DART-Europe and OpenGrey. A total of nine studies met the inclusion criteria. The results indicated as the most evaluated psychological factor the psychological readiness to RTP through the Anterior Cruciate Ligament Return to Sport After Injury (ACL-RSI). Likewise, psychological interventions in ACL-injured football players have positive effects on mood states, reduces pain perception, and fear reinjury, among others. Risk profiles for recurrence included vulnerability to stress and high psychological readiness to RTP. Therefore, psychological interventions should be incorporated into the rehabilitation process and screening to identify players at risk for poor outcomes or recurrences. Additional research would help to understand the influence of other variables or optimal levels of psychological readiness to RTP. Abstract:
Within the scope of pediatric surgical care, a multitude of emotional and psychological factors intertwine, especially during the preoperative phase. Both children and their parents are susceptible to a wide range of emotions, including fear, anxiety and stress. In addition, a child's age, temperament, and previous encounters with medical procedures may also influence their emotional reaction to the impending surgery. To analyze through literature how emotional and psychological factors can impact pediatric surgical procedures. This is a literature review designed to highlight what has already been said in the scientific literature about understanding the emotional and psychological aspects of children who undergo elective surgeries. For this, the following inclusion criteria were listed: preferably be from the last five years, be available free of charge in full, be in Portuguese, English or Spanish and the theme be in accordance with the proposal of the article developed. Articles that did not correspond to the classification above were excluded. The emotional and psychological consequences of surgery on children and their families can go beyond the moments before the operation. Research shows that programs designed to mentally prepare children can help lower stress levels during and after surgery. Furthermore, if healthcare professionals take into account the emotional and psychological aspects of pediatric surgical care, this may result in better outcomes and greater satisfaction with the treatment received. By recognizing and meeting the emotional and psychological needs of children and their families, medical professionals can provide a more complete and empathetic level of care. Additionally, there are programs and techniques designed to help children and their families deal with these emotions and prepare for surgery. These programs may include teachings about the surgical procedure, methods for relaxing and strategies for dealing with feelings of anxiety and stress. Due to the aforementioned facts, emotional and psychological factors play a significant role in pediatric surgical care. The preoperative phase is particularly crucial, as anxiety and fear can affect both the child and their parents. It is essential that healthcare providers address these concerns and provide support to alleviate stress and promote a positive experience for everyone involved. By recognizing the emotional and psychological aspects of pediatric surgical care, healthcare providers can ensure that children and their families receive the best care possible.

Abstract:
Caring for the category of children is caring for society as a whole, and the progress of society is measured by its concern for children, identifying their problems and difficulties facing them, guiding them and trying to find appropriate solutions for that. The method of psychological guidance through playing is one of the most important methods of guidance for children, as it is a diagnostic and evaluative method for correcting behaviour. The importance of paying attention to the methods of psychological guidance through playing lies in the fact that it is the best method of communication between the psychological counsellor and the child. Through playing, diagnosis and treatment are carried out, and through play it becomes clear. The psychological counsellor understands the child’s condition because it becomes like a clear page. Playing is a functional entry into the world of childhood and an important educational mediator that contributes to shaping and building the child’s personality from all sensory, motor, social, emotional, and mental aspects. Playing is an important psychological need, as it helps to feel comfortable, reduce stress and anxiety, and social integration. Play is also considered a form of the important methods used in psychology in diagnosing and treating psychological and educational problems. Recent studies have confirmed that children’s playing is the best means of achieving comprehensive and integrated growth. Indeed, Through playing, the mind is provided with new information, skills, and experiences through its various forms that enrich its mental and cognitive potential, give it different thinking skills, and develop higher mental functions such as remembering, thinking, and perception. Through this research paper, the importance of psychological guidance through playing is highlighted because it is one of the most important methods used in the field of children’s guidance and it is essentially based on psychological foundations. It has methods that are compatible with and appropriate to the child’s stages of development, and it is useful in the child’s acquisitions and in diagnosing his problems and treating his disorders. We will try to outline We first investigated defining the concept of psychological guidance through playing, its importance, goals, counselling methods, its benefits in diagnosis and treatment, its procedures and explanatory theories. Secondly, we discussed the definition of playing for children, types of instructive playing, the importance of playing, uses of playing, theories explaining playing, and the relationship between playing and Psychological health. In the historical perspective, it was traced how the views on the role of mental disorders in the genesis of such crimes changed. It is shown that terrorist and extremist activity must be viewed as a complex multi-factor phenomenon, in which socio-psychological components play a leading role. It is noted that the psychopathological process can act as a prerequisite for inclusion in such radical groups. Psychoanalytic, sociological, cognitive approaches, theories of social learning and the concept of diffuse ego-identity making attempts to explain the mechanisms of terrorist and extremist activity in minors are analyzed. Abstract:
Introduction. Currently, the number of anxious children, characterized by increased anxiety and uncertainty, has increased. These qualities are most acute in the preschool period. One of the most important social and psychological characteristics of preschoolers is the emergence and subordination of motives. There is reason to believe that increased anxiety can exacerbate the manifestation of the negative aspects of the crisis of seven years. The problems of child anxiety are of great concern to education of parents of social workers, as well as acute scientific and practical interest of researchers. The need to fill this gap in scientific knowledge determines the relevance of our study. The authors have set the following tasks: 1. Based on a theoretical analysis scientific literature to reveal the essence of children’s anxiety and features of play therapy as methods of socio-psychological correction. 2. Determine the level of anxiety preschool children and bring corrective work through the method of non-directive game therapy. 3. Outline the main ways and forms of social work with parents of anxious preschoolers. Research hypothesis: socio-psychological correction of child anxiety underlying violations of the social status of a preschooler will be most effective if this process is organized within the framework of play therapy. Materials and Methods. Analysis scientific literature observation psychodiagnostic methods (tests, conversation), experimental methods, mathematical and statistical methods (the Mann –Whitney test, the Wilcoxon test). Discussion and Conclusions. The results of a study are presented that are associated with a decrease in the level of anxiety preschoolers as a result of classes using play therapy.

Abstract:
The study examines young children's play and adults' responses to children's peer play conflicts (in preschools in Sweden) that result in crying. It shows how educators' participation in the resolution of children's play conflicts constitutes socialization practices that focus on moral and emotional aspects of children's conduct. Children's crying has previously been investigated primarily from psychological perspectives. Interactional studies have highlighted that children use different communicative resources in their play interactions and conflicts. Crying, however, has not been investigated in an educational context and not in its own right. The present study adopts social interactional and sociocultural perspectives on children's development and learning. The study is based on video ethnography from a Swedish preschool for children aged 1-4 years. The findings demonstrate that young children use crying as a communicative act that invites educators' active response to a moral transgression committed by a peer. The children use crying to position themselves as victims or perpetrators in a conflict that educators are called upon to resolve, while at the same time mediating between children. The analysis shows that children configure their crying as an embodied and publicly visible act to be noticed by educators, whose responses then accomplish the moral framing of play conflict.

To date, almost all team identification inquiries have focused on men’s sport, with minimal studies using women’s sport to examine the concept. Recognizing social identities are fluid and context dependent, the purpose of the current study was to understand the psychological meaning of team among individuals who identify with a women’s sport team. Using an interpretive mode of inquiry, the author conducted interviews with fans of a professional women’s basketball team. Central elements of team meaning were gender equality (contributing to social change) and pure sport (perceptions of game play and player characteristics). These aspects jointly contribute to a paradox experienced by fans, in that perceived purity may be sacrificed in realizing social change. Theoretical implications include the ability of teams to represent social movement organizations, as well as the need for individuals to shed status-irrelevant aspects of an identity to raise a low-status group.

Abstract:
Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture is a common injury in young athletes. To restore knee stability and function, patients often undergo ACL reconstruction (ACLR). Historically, there has been a focus in this population on the epidemiology of ACL injury, the technical aspects of ACL reconstruction, and post-operative functional outcomes. Although increasingly recognized as an important aspect in recovery, there remains limited literature examining the psychological aspects of post-operative rehabilitation and return to play following youth ACL reconstruction. Despite technical surgical successes and well-designed rehabilitation programs, many athletes never reach their preinjury athletic performance level and some may never return to their primary sport. This suggests that other factors may influence recovery, and indeed this has been documented in the adult literature. In addition to restoration of functional strength and stability, psychological and social factors play an important role in the recovery and overall outcome of ACL injuries in the pediatric population. Factors such as psychological readiness to return-to-play (RTP), motivation, mood disturbance, locus of control, recovery expectations, fear of reinjury, and self-esteem are correlated to the RTP potential of the young athlete. A better understanding of these concepts may help to maximize young patients’ outcomes after ACL reconstruction. The purpose of this article is to perform a narrative review of the current literature addressing psychosocial factors associated with recovery after ACL injury and subsequent reconstruction in young athletes. Our goal is to provide a resource for clinicians treating youth ACL injuries to help identify patients with maladaptive psychological responses after injury and encourage a multidisciplinary approach when treating young athletes with an ACL rupture.

Abstract:
Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze children's aesthetic experiences in outdoor play, explore teachers' play support measures to promote them, and explore changes in children's aesthetic experiences. Methods Child-directed play in outdoor were observed through 30 observations over a total of 6 weeks targeting 4 early childhood teachers and 54 children in each class. The collected data, including field records, recordings, play logs, journals, interviews, and photos, went through a qualitative research analysis stage to derive themes and concepts of aesthetic experience. In addition, the teachers' support for enhancing the aesthetic experience that appeared in the play flow was analyzed. Results First, changes in children's aesthetic experiences during outdoor play occurred in terms of aesthetic experience from an intellectual aspect, an aesthetic experience from an emotional aspect, and a practical aspect. Second, teachers' play support shown to enhance children's aesthetic experience in outdoor play includes media support to use classroom media in outdoor play, environmental support to use space and props in new ways, and help to promote thinking to create creative play. It was found to be accident support and psychological support that helps people feel a sense of consideration and coexistence. Conclusions In child-led outdoor play, children's aesthetic experiences appeared in various aspects, and children's play was expanded and deepened according to the teachers' aesthetic support. This suggests that a teacher's close observation and appropriate support to enhance children's aesthetic experience can lead to active change, and this study can be an appropriate example for the development of aesthetics in everyday child-centered play.

Abstract:
AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 has resulted in widespread training disruption in many sports. Some athletes have access to facilities and equipment, while others have limited or no access, severely limiting their training practices. A primary concern is that the maintenance of key physical qualities (e. g. strength, power, high-speed running ability, acceleration, deceleration and change of direction), game-specific contact skills (e. g. tackling) and decision-making ability, are challenged, impacting performance and injury risk on resumption of training and competition. In extended periods of reduced training, without targeted intervention, changes in body composition and function can be profound. However, there are strategies that can dramatically mitigate potential losses, including resistance training to failure with lighter loads, plyometric training, exposure to high-speed running to ensure appropriate hamstring conditioning, and nutritional intervention. Athletes may require psychological support given the challenges associated with isolation and a change in regular training routine. While training restrictions may result in a decrease in some physical and psychological qualities, athletes can return in a positive state following an enforced period of rest and recovery. On return to training, the focus should be on progression of all aspects of training, taking into account the status of individual athletes.

Abstract:
Managers play a key role in realizing a humane organization of work. Transformational leadership aims to identify and examine leadership behaviors that strengthen employees’ awareness of the importance and values of task outcomes by articulating a vision for the future, providing a realistic action plan, and giving individualized support. Previous studies have revealed associations between transformational leadership and the psychological wellbeing of employees in different settings, while others did not find such associations. As research based on longitudinal data remains rare, this study builds on longitudinal data from two employee surveys conducted in 2015 and 2018 in a medium-sized German company. In this study, transformational leadershipt0 and gender had a significant impact on transformational leadershipt1, while psychological wellbeing∆, social capital∆, and age did not. Psychological wellbeingt0 and social capital∆ had a significant impact on psychological wellbeingt1, but transformational leadership∆, age, and gender did not. Therefore, it is worthwhile for companies to invest in social capital and focus on gender aspects at work. As underlying mechanisms regarding employees’ psychological wellbeing may differ between companies, it is worthwhile for each organization to conduct mental risk assessments to identify “red flags” and implement suitable measures.

Abstract:
This research outlines an analysis of Psychological Well-Being in children who are in the final stages of primary school. The study used a literature review method with the aim of investigating and analysing a deeper understanding of aspects of psychological well-being in children of this age. Through analysing a number of literature sources, this study identified key factors that play a role in influencing psychological well-being in children in the late primary grades. These factors include, but are not limited to, social interactions at school, social support from family and peers, emotional development, adjustment skills and a supportive learning environment. The results of the analyzes suggest that psychological well-being in high school children is closely related to various psychosocial and environmental factors. Moreover, a better understanding of the relationship between these aspects and children's psychological well-being can provide valuable insights for educators, parents and mental health professionals in developing appropriate strategies and interventions to support positive psychological development in children at the primary school level. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of a holistic understanding of the factors that influence psychological well-being in children in the upper primary grades. The implications of this study are expected to provide a foundation for the development of educational approaches and interventions aimed at improving the psychological well-being of children at this level.

Abstract:
Introduction Emotional regulation appears to be a key factor in self-injury. But body image also may play an important role in self-harming. Objectives Analysis of the relationship between non-suicidal self-injurious behavior and various aspects of body representation and body perception in adolescents and young women suffering from depression. Methods The study involved 85 women with endogenous depression. The answer to the question “Sometimes I purposely injure myself” was used as an indicator of self-harm. The methods include: SCL-90-R, Body Investment Scale (BIS), Physical Appearance Comparison Scale-Revised (PACS-R), Body Satisfaction Scale (BSS), Cambridge Depersonalization Scale (CDS). Results The relationship between self-injurious behavior and emotional, cognitive and behavioral characteristics of the self-body perception was revealed: more negative body image - dissatisfaction with its parts and the whole body (correlation with BSS_head ,238*, BSS_body ,472**, BSS_total_score ,453**), which is accompanied by behavioral manifestations - reduced “Protection” (correlation with BIS -,281**), higher rates of self-surveillance and comparisons of the self-body with others (PACS-R ,323**), depersonalization (CDS ,301**), body dissociation (CDS ABE ,346**), somatization (SCL-90-R ,226*). Conclusions For young women with depression, it has been shown that when self-harming, the self-body is “devalued”, perceived as “bad,” and the need to protect it is ignored. The severity of self-harm directly correlates with the phenomena of somatopsychic depersonalization. The results obtained may indicate that rejection of the self-body, “alienated” attitude and deprivation of the body of “subjectivity” can contribute to its use as a tool for solving psychological problems, which is a risk factor for the development, consolidation and aggravation of self-injurious behavior. Disclosure No significant relationships.

Postpartum depression is a relatively frequent psychiatric pathology involving some challenges in managing and treating the case due to the increased risk of suicide and infanticide. Having a relatively early postpartum onset within 4-12 weeks, this pathology may have psychological, social and family repercussions in the long term, both on the mother and father, but especially on the child.Postpartum depression manifests with symptoms typical of all depressive episodes, such as depressed mood, irritability, low tolerance to frustration, anxiety, hypersomnia, but also more specific symptoms such as feelings and guilty thoughts about correct child development, lack of empathy, lack of maternal behavior. Emotional, socio-cultural and physiological factors play an important role in the onset of this symptomatology.Postpartum depression raises ethical concerns about the proper conduct of the doctor. In this article we will address both deontological aspects such as doctor-patient confidentiality, suicide and infanticide, as well as the legal aspects that may occur in such situations. Thus, postpartum depression is a therapeutic challenge because of the multiple social, family and legal interferences it presents.

Abstract:
The human body has tremendous self-healing capacity and regeneration after injuries and pathogen invasions. These factors are particularly important in older adults which take longer to heal and recover physically. In addition to clinical investigations, perspectives from both experts in the field and the living experiences of the general public could play significant roles to enhance the body’s healing mechanisms in older adults. A semi-structured interview was conducted which included 15 participants (9 experts and 6 older adults aged 65 years and older). Content analysis with an inductive approach was employed about participants’ experiences and perspectives. All participants in this study revealed that self-healing mechanisms can be enhanced through physiological, psychological, and socio-environmental factors. When more of these factors can be integrated into a recovery management plan, it can hasten self-healing in older adults. Social capability has a profound impact on an individual’s mental health while oral health and hygiene significantly affect the nutritional intake status. In regards to physical aspects, regular daily activity patterns, nutritious eating, moderate exercise, and sleep quality are significant, while psychological aspects such as cheerfulness, positive attitudes, and good interpersonal relationships can help control chronic diseases.

Abstract:
Psychological models of mental disorders play an important role in the explanation of psychological deterioration. Researchers from this area usually study several cognitive and behavioral variables to account for the onset and maintenance of depression. However, many authors have detected the need to include a “social dimension” in the explanation of deterioration. In this sense, social support has become a crucial aspect in the study of mental health, and the psychological literature on this topic has generated an intense debate about several facets of the positive impact of social networks on psychological well-being. In this article, the author defends that this increasing centrality of the concept has been accompanied by a psychological reductionism that is making the role of “social aspects” to explain psychological well-being more problematic. Implications of this reductionism are discussed, and an alternative proposal is made to overcome some theoretical and empirical problems related to social support research.

Abstract:
The quality, availability, consistency, and accessibility of technology play vital roles in shaping learning performance and effectiveness. However, it is important to recognize that technology alone does not guarantee desired learning outcomes. Instead, the interaction between humans and technology, along with the design dimensions of educational tools, significantly influence students' learning outcomes and their psychological engagement with the learning process. Moreover, improper utilization of technology can pose obstacles to effective learning. This paper aims to provide a thorough examination of the effects of technology on the learning process, aiming to identify instances where technology serves as a facilitator or hindrance to learners. Furthermore, a diverse range of suggestions will be presented to optimize and enhance the role of technology in promoting effective learning experiences. The research highlighted the advantages and disadvantages of different technology aspects on students, and highlighted how keeping the learning outcome as a principle in course design will lead to the proper evaluation of learning outcome. By delving into these crucial aspects, this research endeavors to provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations for educators, policymakers, and stakeholders seeking to harness the full potential of technology in education.

Abstract:
Chatbots without artificial intelligence can play the role of practical and easy-to-implement learning objects in e-learning environments, allowing a reduction in social or psychological isolation. This research, with a sample of 79 students, explores the principles that need to be followed in designing this kind of chatbot in education in order to ensure an acceptable outcome for students. Research has shown that students interacting with a chatbot without artificial intelligence expect similar psychological and communicative responses to those of a live human, project the characteristics of the chatbot from the dialogue, and are taken aback when the chatbot does not understand or cannot help them sufficiently. The study is based on a design through research approach, in which students in information studies and library science interacted with a specific chatbot focused on information retrieval, and recorded their experiences and feelings in an online questionnaire. The study intends to find principles for the design of chatbots without artificial intelligence so that students feel comfortable interacting with them.
