Abstract:
Soukromé knižní sbírky byly tehdy zdaleka nejvýznamnější a zastínily i knihovny státních akademií. Soukromí sběratelé zaštiťovali související projekty: stavbu knihovních budov, katalogizaci sbírek, vydávání reedic a kolektaneí (mnohosvazkových edičních řad vycházejících z jejich fondů).

Abstract:
The article, based on Eliza Orzeszkowa’s letters to Edvard Jelínek from 1881–1896, presents the relationship between the two writers. They were guided by the common idea of vzajemnosti, i.e. promoting cultural activities among the Slavs, aimed at bringing nations together. In this regard, Orzeszkowa undertook many initiatives in cooperation with the Czech writer. The first was an attempt to publish in Polish the work The Fall and Rebirth of the Czech Nation, presenting the history of the Czechs. On the pages of the letters, the project of publishing an anthology works by famous Czech poets and prose writers translated by Czesław Jankowski, Bronisław Teodor Grabowski, Władysław Bełza and Wilhelmina Zyndram-Kościałkowska was discussed. The income from the sale of the publication was planned to be used to rebuild the National Theater in Prague (Národní divadlo), which burned down in 1881. The writer also organized a fundraising for this purpose at the “Orzeszkowa i S-ka” bookstore in Vilnius. The last undertaking was the intention to publish Orzeszkowa’s memories from her stay in Prague – it was to familiarize the reader with Czech culture. Even though some of the discussed plans were already advanced, they were not implemented, mainly due to tsarist decrees. This correspondence is therefore a valuable trace of the Polish–Czech cooperation between writers. The quoted fragments of Orzeszkowa’s letters to Jelínek are in the National Literature Museum in Prague (Památník Národního Písemnictví). They have not been released yet.

Váchová, Petra. "Počátky portugalského písemnictví." Master's thesis, 2015. http://www.nusl.cz/ntk/nusl-350815.

Abstract:
The purpose of this thesis is to map out the beginning of literature written in the domestic language, i.e. Galician-Portuguese and later Portuguese, as it started to separate from works written in Latin. The first part of the thesis describes how the Portuguese language evolved from Latin, which in turn evolved from the Indo-European language. A colloquial form of Latin began to emerge, splitting later into several dialects. The Galician- Portuguese language appears and individual Romance languages start to form. The new Portuguese language undergoes a period of formation, with the first phase being the Old Portuguese, followed by the classical period, until Portuguese became the language we know now. The second part of the thesis describes the formation and early phases of Portuguese writing, both literary and non-literary, including a list of genres that prevailed during the beginnings of Portuguese literature, and a selection of excerpts of the oldest texts and their translations. Key words: Old Portuguese, old texts, evolution of language, Portuguese philology, translation

Abstract:
of the thesis Introduction: Evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment methods, programmes and services is often something that people and journalists, or reporters, who do not work in health care and in social services ask and are not always easy to answer and give a simple and "measurable" answer. What is the percentage success rate of treatment? What percent of patients abstain? What does it mean? How does their somato-psycho-social condition improve? What do we mostly watch? In general, qualitative and quantitative outputs (number of contacts and treated clients, interventions, issued material, etc.) are also assessed, as well as their volume with previous periods, etc. Efficiency indicators often identified and determined by individual facilities; the standards have not yet assumed a unified form forspecific types of services. Claim: The aim of this work, which is focused retrospective on evaluating the effectiveness of the Apolinář treatment, its effective elements and methods of measurement, is to contribute to the effectiveness of the clinic's activities in future, to offer possible stimuli to set up interventions in the context of improving and streamlining the reported therapeutic care and provide possible argumentation also for insurance companies to contract further and in the long...

Bukovská, Šárka. "Penitenciál Někotoraja zapověď." Master's thesis, 2019. http://www.nusl.cz/ntk/nusl-404988.

Full text
Abstract:
The subject of the present thesis is a penitential Nekotoraja zapoved which is a collection of sins and penance designated for confessors. The writing is preserved in a Russian redaction of Church Slavonic from 14th-15th century, but the Czech origin of 11th century was already proved by philological analysis. The thesis presents Nekotoraja zapoved with all its specifics and in the context of the Church Slavic literature. A miscellaneous content of the penitential reflects cultural, historical, social and political aspects of the medieval society. The aim of this thesis is a philological edition, a lexical analysis of almost hundred lexemes which characterizes the lexicon of Nekotoraja zapoved and a comparison with Great Moravian penitential Zapovedi svętychЪ otc. The comparison of both contents shows changes of confessional convention by then and the lexical comparison reflects possibilities of the Old Slavonic lexemes usage and variations of expressions.
