Nesta pesquisa elegemos o t?pico discursivo como objeto de investiga??o, privilegiando especificamente o estudo da organiza??o hier?rquica nas produ??es de texto de alunos do sexto ano de uma escola municipal, a partir do g?nero f?bula. Discutimos inicialmente, acerca de texto, seguindo-se das considera??es sobre o g?nero f?bula, para em seguida refletir sobre a quest?o do t?pico como elemento por meio do qual os assuntos tratados no texto se relacionam entre si, pois de acordo com a Lingu?stica Textual, um texto coerentemente constru?do apresenta conex?es das partes entre si e destas com o todo. Tendo em vista as dificuldades encontradas por nossos alunos em organizar adequadamente os t?picos nos textos que produzem, estabelecemos como crit?rio necess?rio ? constru??o do texto um trabalho com a organiza??o hier?rquica. Na perspectiva de colaborar com a aprendizagem dos discentes no que se refere ? progress?o t?pica dos textos, desenvolvemos uma sequ?ncia did?tica, embasada nas orienta??es de Dolz, Noverraz e Schneuwly (2004). Nosso trabalho teve por base os princ?pios de uma pesquisa-a??o, seguindo uma metodologia orientada para uma a??o especifica. Nessa dire??o, objetivamos minimizar alguns problemas na ordem da produ??o textual, a partir dos princ?pios b?sicos da centra??o e da organicidade do texto. Nosso estudo seguiu pressupostos da Lingu?stica Textual, teoricamente amparado pelos trabalhos de Cavalcante (2012), Koch (2002, 2006), Antunes (2009), Marcuschi (2008), Jubran (2006), entre outros. Nossas an?lises e reflex?es revelaram que, ap?s a proposta com as sequ?ncias did?ticas, os alunos produziram textos escritos com percept?veis avan?os no aspecto da hierarquia t?pica, fato que evidenciou a melhoria na compreens?o destes com rela??o ? import?ncia de escrever, relacionando as ideias entre si, fato que estabelece a coer?ncia entre as unidades de sentido do texto. Como resultado desse trabalho, os alunos apresentaram como produto final, um livreto constitu?do por f?bulas de suas autorias.
In this research the discursive topic was elected as work purpose, specifically emphasizing the study of hierarquical organizations in texts productions made by elementary students of a municipal school. The texts were produced based on the fable genre. The topic issue was discussed as an element capable of relating subjects of the text. According to the Textual linguistics a coherently constructed text presents connections between all parts of it. Taking into account all difficulties faced by students when properly organizing ideas in texts produced by them, It was established as a necessary criteria to the construction of the text, a study taking into relevance hierarquical organization. Hoping to collaborate in the students? learning process regarding the topical progression of texts, it was developed a didactic sequence based on the Dolz, Noverraz and Schneuwly (2004) guidelines.This academic research was based on principles of an action research, based on a methodology focused on a specific action. So, the final purpose is to minimize some problems in textual production, based on the basic principles of centralization and text consistency. This study followed the assumptions of Textual Linguistics, theoretically supported by the works of Cavalcante (2012), Koch (2002, 2006), Antunes (2009), Marcuschi (2008), Jubran (2006). The reviews and reflections revealed that, after the didactic sequence?s purpose, the students produced written texts with great progress in the aspect of the topical hierarchy, fact that evidenced the improvement in their understanding of writing importance, relating each other's ideas. As a result, students presented as a final product, a small book full of original fables written by them.

Abstract:
Paul Schoenfeld (b. 1947) is considered one of the major American composers of the present day to have incorporated many different styles in his music. Although Schoenfeld primarily uses a combination of folk, popular music, klezmer, and jazz in most of his compositions, he has also incorporated other distinctive musical styles in his works, such as neo-Baroque, particularly in his Partita for Violin and Piano (2002). The purpose of this dissertation is to explore the eclectic combination of neo-Baroque and klezmer elements found in Schoenfeld's Partita. This research provides a detailed comparative analysis of his work with Johann Sebastian Bach's Clavier-Übung I, BWV 825–830, and 6 Sei Solo a Violino senza Basso accompagnato, BWV 1001–1006, primarily to see how Schoenfeld made use of Baroque forms, imitative passages, rhythms, and other stylistic features, then fused them with klezmer elements. Klezmer is a genre of music stemming from the Eastern European Jewish tradition; its distinctive characteristics are modal scales and Hasidic vocal ornaments. Knowing the mixture of Baroque and klezmer stylistic influences should help performers to interpret the piece.

Abstract:
Sergei Prokofiev is among the ranks of early-twentieth century composers whose music endures in the concert hall and whose life has attracted much musicological research. Fewer studies, however, have undertaken an analytical investigation into his music, and the body of scholarly work on the musical theoretical issues raised by his compositions does not rival that exploring the music of such major contemporaries as Igor Stravinsky and Béla Bartók. Existing Anglo-American contributions to the field of Prokofiev theory have mostly employed the tools of common-practice musical analysis, many of them using Schenkerian methods, with the more recent accounts of Richard Bass and Deborah Rifkin expanding these to incorporate the chromatic features of Prokofiev’s music in more sophisticated ways. A notable exception is Neil Minturn, who proposes an analytical approach informed by pitch-class set theory; his methodology, however, has not been developed in any further research. This thesis aims to make a contribution to Prokofiev analysis by applying recent developments in neo-Riemannian theories and the work of the noted Russian musicologist, Yuri Kholopov, whose early monograph on Prokofiev’s harmony has not been engaged with in English language accounts to date. Neo-Riemannian theories are well suited to this task due to the correspondence between their remit and the diatonic chromatic aspect of Prokofiev’s music. This thesis also introduces and explores the potential of Kholopov’s theoretical concepts regarding the nature of twentieth-century music, and in particular processes such as polyharmony, in original analytical applications. Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5 and Piano Sonata No. 8 have been selected as focal works as they are acknowledged masterworks on an ambitious scale and arguably represent a shift in Prokofiev’s compositional thinking towards more abstract music in his later period. Existing analyses of extracts from these two works also offer the opportunity of making comparative observations. By focusing on harmony and large scale tonal design in these two works, this thesis hopes to demonstrate that a dialogue between the theoretical perspectives of Kholopov and those of neo-Riemannian theories may contribute valuable insights into Prokofiev’s music, at both surface and deep structural levels.

Abstract:
In Schubert’s music, the theme “wandering” is used frequently, closely related to human life and death. I presume that, being stricken by serious illness and facing challenging relationships, Schubert lived his short life with agony and dismay, confronting the life theme “death.” In that sense, Schubert himself was probably the wanderer who kept trudging throughout his life journey. In 1822, Schubert composed the allegorical tale “My Dream,” and in that tale, he writes as follows; “when I attempted to sing of love, it turned to pain. And again, when I tried to sing of pain, it turned to love. Thus were love and pain divided in me” (Deutsch 1977, 227). Schubert lived his life, struggling between love and pain, and between life and death. Human life and death conflict with each other, but exist together in the same place. In other words, death is a root of life. If one can perceive that life and death both exist at the root of one’s life, the form of life should be represented by a circular path, not by a linear formation. This notion accords with Schubert’s musical style, where the same material comes back again and again in a circular formation. I assume that the notion—death as a root of life—is the essential conception of “wandering” that Schubert’s music expresses. In this dissertation, I would like to offer several Neo-Riemannian analyses and graphs of Schubert’s piano compositions; Impromptus D. 899, Moments Musical D. 780, Sonata in C-minor D. 958, and the “Wanderer” Fantasy D. 760. For each work and movement, I will map out the harmonic structure and key progressions on a Tonnetz graph, and suggest a new way to comprehend the nature of “wandering” that Schubert’s music portrays. Through the configurations and harmonic motions on the Tonnetz graphs, I will establish a way to comprehend Schubert’s concept of circular “wandering” visually and geometrically.

Contextualização: Tem sido afirmado que a corrente de média frequência é mais eficaz do que a corrente de baixa frequência para a induzir elevado torque articular com baixo desconforto sensorial; e que a espessura da dobra cutânea (EDC) pode influenciar na eficiência da eletroestimulação neuromuscular (EENM). Entretanto, existem poucos estudos comparativos sobre o tema. Objetivo: Investigar os efeitos de duas correntes de média frequência (AUS1 e AUS2), duas de baixa freqüência (FES1 e FES2) e da EDC sobre o desconforto e o torque isométrico extensor do joelho. Métodos: O estudo foi dividido em duas partes: 1) Comparação do torque evocado por cada uma das correntes e do grau de desconforto percebido durante e imediatamente após a EENM. 2) investigação dos efeitos da EDC sobre as variáveis analisadas em dois subgrupos G1(EDC menor) e G2 (EDC maior). Resultados: Parte 1: FES1 evocou torque 21% superior a FES2 e 23% superior a AUS2. AUS1 induziu torque 21% superior a FES2 e 22% superior a AUS2 (p<0,01 em todas as comparações). Não houve diferença significativa entre FES1 e AUS1, bem como entre AUS2 e FES2 (p>0,05 nas duas comparações). Correntes com maior largura de pulso foram mais desconfortáveis que correntes com menor largura de pulso. Parte 2: G1 evocou torque 28% superior ao G2 (p<0,01), o desconforto eliciado pela EENM não diferiu significativamente entre os subgrupos (p=0,425). Conclusão: Parte 1: correntes com maior largura de pulso eliciam maior torque articular com maior desconforto. Parte 2: a EDC influencia na magnitude do torque evocado e na intensidade de corrente requerida, mas não na percepção de desconforto.
Background: It has been supposed that the medium frequency current is more effective than low frequency current to induce torque with less sensory discomfort and that skinfold thickness (SFT) can to influence on efficacy of neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES). However, there have been few comparative studies on the subject. Objective: To investigate the effects of two medium frequency currents (AUS1 and AUS2), two low frequency currents (FES1 and FES2) and SFT on discomfort and on the isometric knee extensor torque. Methods: The study was divided into two parts: 1) Comparison of the torque evoked by each of the currents and the degree of discomfort perceived during and immediately after the NMES. 2) investigation of the effects of skinfold thickness on the variables analysed into two subgroups G1 (lower skinfold thickness) and G2 (larger skinfold thickness). Results: Part 1: FES1 evoked torque 21% higher than FES2 (p<0,01) and 23% higher than AUS2 (p<0,01). AUS1 induced torque 21% higher than FES2 (p<0,01). Currents with smaller pulse width (FES2 and AUS2) are more comfortable than currents with higher pulse width (FES1 and AUS1). Part 2: There are significant differences between the subgroups in relation to the NMES-evoked torque; the intensity of the current correlates positively with the skinfold thickness, negatively with the evoked torque and does not correlate with the induced discomfort. Conclusion: Part 1: currents with greater pulse width induce greater joint torque with greater discomfort. Part 2: G1 evoked torque 28% higher than G2 (p<0,01), the discomfort elicited by NMES did not differ significantly between subgroups.

Abstract:
Harold Shapero’s Sonata for Trumpet in C and Piano is a significant work that it is rarely performed and studied. Shapero’s composition contains musical attributes that demand artistically accurate choices if the style of this jazz-influenced sonata is to be achieved. Written in 1940 in dedication to Aaron Copland, the Sonata for C Trumpet and Piano makes use of a variety of stylistic influences, blending those of early 20th century jazz with Stravinsky-influenced neo-classicism. The intent of this study is to examine the unique performance practice implications and musical considerations of Harold Shapero’s Sonata for C Trumpet and Piano in correlation to the composer’s implementation of jazz idiomatic elements within the constructs of neo-classicism. The first section of this study examines the historical context necessary for understanding the social and musical conditions of the early to mid 1940s. The second section addresses the musical elements that characterize this work; the primary focus of this section is an exploration of Harold Shapero’s implementation of jazz idioms into his first composition for trumpet. The final section of the study interprets the utilization of idiomatic jazz elements within the work so as to allow the trumpet player with little jazz experience to accurately perform the piece.

Abstract:
Detta är ett examensarbete på 15 högskolepoäng inom Teknisk design vid Luleå Tekniska Universitet. Arbetet har genomförts på uppdrag av Nevo Maskin AB som är en företag som utför reparationer och service av entreprenadmaskiner. Detta produktutvecklingsprojekt har genomförts i samarbete med Sigma Industry East North. Syftet med detta projekt är att förbättra och förenkla arbetet med en Trackpress. Arbetet ska göras säkrare, mobilt och mer ergonomiskt för användaren. En Trackpress används för att demontera och byta masterpinne i länken på larvkedjan på en grävmaskin. Detta arbete behandlar mellansegmentet (12-45 ton) av grävmaskiner. Verktyget som används på Nevo Maskin består av tre huvudsakliga delar: en bygel som läggs ovanpå bandet, en cylinder som expanderar med hjälp av tryckluft och en kompressor som styr tryckluften. Kompletterande delar måste användas mellan länken och cylindern för att den ska nå att pressa ut masterpinnen på länken. Verktyget väger 86 kg och kan inte hanteras av en person, utan ett lyfthjälpmedel måste användas. Ibland lyfts verktyget av två personer, men detta är ytterst oergonomiskt och medför stora risker för arbetsskador. För att förbättra detta verktyg har vi arbetat efter en designprocess där faser med förstudie, litteraturstudie, idéarbete och detaljutveckling genomförts för att utveckla ett koncept. I designprocessen som används i det här projektet är en av faserna idéarbete, där vi använt oss av workshops där medlemmarna skissar, diskuterar och skriver ned idéer som kommer fram. Genom att använda oss av olika metoder och olika grupper av människor i våra workshops kunde vi få flera infallsvinklar på problemet. Vidare har vi inom de olika faserna genomfört studiebesök, användarstudier, intervjuer, marknadsundersökning och kreativa metoder för att arbeta fram ett koncept som ritades upp i NX och Inventor. Resultatet är ett utvecklat verktyg kallat Masterpusher som består av tre delar. En ram uppbyggd av två parallella plåtar, med en platta baktill där cylindern placeras mellan de två sidoplåtarna, en domkraft för positionering av hydraulcylindern i höjdled och en insats för centrering av verktyget. I botten på ramen finns två skenor för att cylindern och domkraften inte inte ska falla ned. Ett kompletterande koncept för förflyttning och transport har rekommenderats för vidareutveckling. Konceptet medger säkrare hantering och mer ergonomiskt arbetssätt. Vikten har reducerats och materialåtgången minskats. Förbättringen innebär även en minskad produktionskostnad vilket bidrar till en konkurrensfördel jämfört med de konkurrenter som finns idag. This is a bachelor degree project in Industrial design engineering at Luleå University of Technology. It has been carried out at the request of Nevo Maskin AB, a company that performs service and repairs on heavy construction equipment. The project has been executed in collaboration with Sigma Industry East North in Luleå. The purpose of this project is to improve and simplify the work with a Trackpress. The work process must be made safe, mobile and ergonomic for the user. The Trackpress is a tool that is used for dismantling and replacing the master pin in the link of the caterpillar chain on excavators. The project covers the middle segment of excavators which means excavators between 12 to 45 tons and this is the most common segment of excavators repaired by Nevo Maskin AB. The Trackpress tool used by Nevo Maskin AB consists of three parts: a frame that is placed over the caterpillar chain, a hydraulic cylinder that expands by compressed air and a compressor that controls the compressed air. Supplementary parts are needed between the link and cylinder in order for it to reach the master pin, here they use whatever they have in reach. The exciting Trackpress weighs 86 kgs and cannot be lifted by one sole person, a lifting device must be used. Sometimes two people lifts it but this is not to recommend because of the great risk of injuries. To improve the Trackpress the project has been carried out through a design process with five phases of planning, feasibility study, literature study, ideation and detail development to develop a concept. in one of the phases, Ideation, we have worked with workshops where the members draw, discuss, and write down all the ideas generated. By using different methods and groups of people in the workshops we got different angles and points of view on the problem. Furthermore we have done field trips, user studies, interviews market research and creative methods to develop a concept that was drawn in NX and Inventor. The final concept consists of three parts, a frame constructed by two parallel steel plates with another plate in the rear, a jack for positioning the cylinder, which is placed on top of the jack and between the parallel plates and a additional part for centering the tool over the chain. In the bottom there are two rails that keep the jack in place. A concept for transporting the tool has been left for future development. The concept idea gives the user safer handling of the tool and a more ergonomic way of working with it. The weight and the material consumtion has been reduced. O presente trabalho visa a estudar, de modo relacional, o conceito filos?fico de eq?idade e o conceito de proporcionalidade, aquele a partir de sua natureza filos?fica, este a partir da natureza de princ?pio com que foi dogmatizado pelo Direito desde o s?culo XIX. No primeiro cap?tulo, em uma parte anal?tica, faz-se uma constru??o te?rica da eq?idade a partir de sua genealogia como conceito filos?fico cl?ssico e, ato cont?nuo, uma abordagem deste conceito em cinco autores, nomeadamente Arist?teles, Immanuel Kant, John Rawls, Ronald Dworkin e Amartya Sen. Tamb?m nesta anal?tica desenvolve-se uma abordagem da aequitas romana, e seu recebimento pelo Direito contempor?neo, e da equity no common law. Ap?s, efetua-se uma cr?tica de quest?es circunscritas ? parte anal?tica, com ?nfase na possibilidade de um sentido positivo de eq?idade e, ao fim, uma sistematiza??o desta em um sentido filos?fico-jur?dico e um sentido filos?fico-pol?tico. Mon travail de thèse s’est axé sur deux projets, le premier a porté sur l’étude fonctionnelle de la sous unité TTDA de TFIIH, un facteur général de transcription impliqué dans la réparation NER, afin d’identifier de nouveaux partenaires de la sous unité TTDA nous avons réalisé un crible double hybride et ainsi sélectionné ZBTB38, une protéine impliqué dans la répression de gènes portant des methylations CpG, nous avons confirmé son interaction avec TTDA, et son implication dans la réparation NER. La deuxième partie a porté sur l’étude du recrutement des facteurs NER sur la chromatine en absence de lésions de l’ADN. En utilisant le système rapporteur LacO/LacR nous avons observé que l’immobilisation de l’un des facteurs NER sur la chromatine non endommagée permet l’assemblage du PInC de façon séquentielle et ordonnée. Nous avons aussi révélé que TTDA, connue pour être impliquée dans la trichothiodystrophie, joue un rôle clé dans la complétion du PInC
During my thesis I worked on two projects, the first one was focused on the functional study of TTDA subunit of TFIIH, which is a general transcription factor involved in NER, we made a double hybrid screening to identify new interactants of TTDA subunit, and we could select ZBTB38, which is known to be implicated in methyl dependant gene repression; we confirmed its interaction with TTDA and its involvement in NER. The second project was entiteled Molecular Insights into the formation of the nucleotide excision repair complex revealed on undamaged chromatin. we analyzed the formation of the PInC independently of DNA damage by using the LacO-LacR system. We observed a sequential and ordered self-assembly of the PInC operating upon immobilization of individual NER factors on undamaged chromatin and mimicking that functioning on a bona fide NER substrate. We also revealed that the recruitment of TTDA, involved in Trichothiodystrophy disorder, was key in the completion of the PInC

This dissertation is inserted in the research line ?Contemporary Criminal-Legal Systems? and has as objective the analysis of the blank criminal laws. Intends to establish, in this regard, a scenario that allows to trace, in the light of the principle of legality, its fundamentals and bordering lines to allow the construction of criteria to its recurrence. To realize this objective, the research divides in three distinct and complementary moments. In a first analysis, proceeds to a delimitation of the idea of legality, from its paradigms, vinculated of the iluminism period, until its principological projection in the criminal law. Then, in a second moment, directs the study to the dogmatic exam of the category of the blank criminal laws (concept, fundaments, features and modalities). Finally, in a third stage of the research, it is sought to confront it with the liberal content of the principle of legality, as understood in its conformation to contemporary criminal law, in order to analyze the possibility of the category of blank criminal laws having, in its foundations and limits, its recurrence feasible.

L’Italia ha avuto in passato una forte tradizione legata ai rimboschimenti, soprattutto di specie dei generi Pinus e Abies, effettuati sia a scopo produttivo sia a scopo protettivo. Attualmente molti di questi rimboschimenti mostrano gravi problemi di stabilità, sia meccanica sia biologica, dovuti alla eccesiva semplificazione e al fatto che spesso sono stati eseguiti fuori o al limite dell’areale della specie. È importante dunque che si prevedano per essi delle forme di gestione che mirino al recupero, intendendo con esso, in primis un aumento della biodiversità, della stabilità e di conseguenza dell’autopoiesi. Il metodo che tale lavoro prende in considerazione per raggiungere questi obiettivi è lo studio delle dinamiche di rinaturalizzazione che avvengono nei popolamenti di origine artificiale a prevalenza di pino nero del comprensorio di Monte Morello in provincia di Firenze. La rinnovazione naturale viene analizzata sia in modo estensivo tramite descrizione qualitativa sia in modo puntuale attraverso rilievi quantitativi all’interno e in prossimità delle buche originatesi naturalmente nel soprassuolo. I risultati ottenuti permettono di capire quali sono le tendenze evolutive dei popolamenti e quindi come la gestione può inserirsi opportunamente per coadiuvare i processi naturali.

Questo progetto di ricerca del dottorato si articola su due casi di studio simili nelle metodiche per generare i dati, basate su tecniche di genotipizzazione molecolare, ma con approcci differenti nell’analisi e soprattutto nell’interpretazione dei dati. In entrambi i casi di studio la diversità genetica è stata stimata mediante marcatori molecolari (microsatelliti-SSR-short sequence repeat- e SNP-single nucleotide polimorphism), ma mentre nel caso della palma da dattero è utilizzata per caratterizzare il germoplasma, nel caso del pino nero costituisce il prerequisito per la comprensione del ruolo relativo dei fenomeni selettivi e demografici nel definire la struttura genetica delle popolazioni, per studi di associazione molecolare, di filogeografia e più in generale di genetica della conservazione. The Ph.D. thesis refers to two case studies where similar methods to generate the molecular data but different approaches of data analyses and interpretation were adopted. In both cases the genetic diversity has been estimated by molecular markers (microsatellites-SSR-short sequence repeat- and SNP-single nucleotide polymorphism). In the date palm case the genetic variability is used for the characterization of germplasm, while in the Pinus nigra case a more detailed analysis for understanding the relative role of selection and demography on the genetic structure of populations, for molecular association and phylogeographic studies were performed.

This report is divided into two parts. The first part describes the activities developed during the internship, held at the auditing firm Jorge Silva, Neto, Ribeiro & Pinho, SROC, Lda.. The second part of this report is devoted to the topic of accounting and auditing for deferred taxes resulting from the recognition of government grants for acquisition of assets, presenting a practical case illustrative of it. The analysis of this topic provides a description of the background of the accounting treatment currently described in Portuguese accounting and financial reporting standards and leaves suggestions to the Portuguese accounting standards board, for future improvement.

Alberto Ginastera (1916-1983) is considered one of the most important composers in Argentina. Although his piano works are merely small portion among his composition,but the piano works holds quite important status at his early stage. The compositinal profession of Ginastera can be divided into three periods: The first period is called Objective Nationalism (1937-1947), where folk elements are used directly in the works. The second period is called Subjective Nationaslism (1947-1954). Ginastera attempted to introduce some new rhythms, melody and symbolic,all of these gives a image of nationalistic spirit of Argentine traditional music. The third period, called Neo-expressionism (1954-1983) , but Ginastera started depart from the influence of Argentine nationality music ,morover, he brought new compositional techniques into traditional musical form, and started to utilize twelve tone, serial music, micro tone, polyphony... and so on . "Sonata for Piano No.1, Op.22",composed in 1952,was at initial time of the third period-the transformation period. Therefore,not only one is able to see Ginastera's mature utilization of symbolic nationality music source material and the style, also has the previlege to observe his attempt on create new virtuosic techniques. So here I will first make a simple introduction of Ginastera's biography and his style on composition, then make discussion on the development of Argentina's music culture as well as the assiciation between "Sonata for Piano No.1, Op.22"with Argentine nationality music, include the aspect of musical form, phrase, texture in addition, also sound,melody and rhythm... etc., various aspects of analysis of piece. In the last passage the author will aims on each movements to provide annotation on music interpretation.

En esta investigación he decidido aprovechar el impulso de este interés para transitar y profundizar mis conocimientos sobre el mismo, ya que a lo largo del cursado este camino no ha sido recorrido.
