Abstract:
The article is devoted to the problem of finding effective and sufficient measures of physical therapy in restoring the functioning of patients with shoulder lesions. Chronic conditions associated with shoulder damage leads to a impairment in the quality of life of a patient, which can negatively affect its social realization and the work it performs. Pain in the shoulder region can occur due to pathologies of the musculoskeletal system, including impingement syndrome, tendonitis, partial and complete rupture of the rotator cuff of the shoulder, as well as adhesive capsulitis, shoulder bursitis, shoulder instability and shoulder arthritis. These lesions are manifested not only by severe pain, but also by decreased functioning, limited movement in the joint, decreased strength. The purpose of the study is to investigate the effectiveness of integrated use of modern measures of physical therapy for shoulder injuries. Theoretical and empirical research methods were used: analysis, generalization, comparison and ranking of the obtained information, observation, experiment, statistical methods. The study was conducted among a group of people with a chronic condition of the shoulder. It took place on the basis of a yoga studio in Dnipro. Eleven participants (5 women and 6 men) were selected and underwent physical therapy classes twice a week for 8 weeks. Among the means of physical therapy were used joint mobilizations according to the concept of Mulligan, means of the PNF method, classical and modified yoga exercises. The proposed program of physical therapy of shoulder lesions in patients with low and medium pain and limited range of motion in the joint showed high efficiency, almost all indicators were reliable.

Abstract:
The objective: to study the psychological characteristics of women’s status in one of the most common complications of pregnancy - the threat of termination of pregnancy, depending on the level of stress load. Patients and methods. We have studied the psychological status (the Holmes-Rahe level of psychosocial stress, the Spielberg-Hanin level of anxiety, V.I.Dobryakov’s related to a pregnancy test, diagnosis of psychological defense mechanisms, assessment of quality of life) 60 pregnant women with threat of premature birth in the third trimester of pregnancy. Surveyed women were divided into 2 groups: group 1 included 30 pregnant women – forced migrant of Donetsk and Lugansk area and 2 group – 30 pregnant women who resided in Kiev. Results. At the same clinical picture of the threat of premature birth we detected discrepancy between the subjective assessment of their condition in women – forced migrants: a high level of situational and personal anxiety, decrease in physical (physical functioning, role-physical functioning) and psychological (social functioning, role emotional functioning) health, doubtful and pathological subtypes of gestational dominant. This creates prerequisites for complications of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum future period and requires the participation of psychologists in the work with this category of patients. Conclusion. So, revealed a discrepancy between the objective clinical signs similar obstetric pathology (on the example of threatened abortion) in pregnant women with different levels of stress load and their subjective evaluation of their condition that affects their psychological status. This should be reflected in individually tailored therapy and be mainstreamed into the work of obstetricians and gynecologists with these patients, and requires mandatory participation of psychologists in the work with this category of patients. Key words: pregnancy, the threat of premature birth, stress, psychological status.

Abstract:
This study examined the difference in effectiveness between Adlerian Play Therapy and content mastery services in increasing physical, social, and task attractiveness to students in primary schools. The factorial design experimental method was applied to 72 fifth-grade students from two public elementary schools in Bandung, Indonesia, whose dimensions of attractiveness were lower than the other study groups. Each intervention carried out six meetings in different schools. Adlerian Play Therapy starts from the one-session relationship-building stage, the lifestyle investigation stage through the three-session secret book, the lifestyle understanding stage through one-session games, and the reorientation & re-education stage through one-session games. Classical guidance services for content mastery with a community circle strategy start from building relationships in two sessions, introducing the importance of one session, improving the social aspects of one session, improving the physical aspects of one session, and improving the aspects of one session assignments. Manova analyzed the Interpersonal Attraction Scale (IAS) instrument. Adlerian Play Therapy further enhances all dimensions of interpersonal attractiveness than content mastery services. Recommendations are aimed at counseling teachers to use Adlerian Play Therapy to increase children's social, physical, and assignment attractiveness. It is hoped that other researchers will research further related to increasing task attractiveness.

Abstract:
This study examined the perspectives of people ageing with multiple sclerosis on the positive and negative aspects of living with this disease. Twenty-seven people with multiple sclerosis aged 55+ years were recruited from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and were interviewed twice. The first interview was semi-structured and the second involved the administration of standardised scales from the Multiple Sclerosis Quality of Life Inventory. The positive aspects of multiple sclerosis included social benefits, becoming a better helper, realising potential, strengthening family and discovering resources. The negative aspects included loss of mobility, symptoms, social disadvantages, uncertainty, loss of independence and control, missed opportunities and expense. Physical functioning and social support did not influence the likelihood of reporting any of these aspects of the experience. The people with higher mental health scores were more likely to report social benefits. The findings point to the importance of a client-centred approach to therapy. They suggest that the use of semi-structured assessment processes may facilitate the identification of the disability experienced, which can be used to build on clients' strengths and positive experiences.

Abstract:
This article focuses on assessment processes in the school subject of physical education (PE). Inspired by Torrance, the overarching research question is: ‘What might assessment involve if it focuses on the development and identification of collective understanding, collaboratively produced through educational experiences?’ The purpose of the study is to illustrate what characterises transformative assessment and show how it can be addressed in PE practice. A combination of group interviews with teachers, lesson observations and individual interviews with students and teachers was used to gather the empirical material. The analysis was based on three aspects of transformative assessment: responsibilisation; subjectification; and collaboration. Three empirical illustrations show what transformative assessment might involve in relation to learning tasks such as: the training log; the group choreography; and the case of exercise physiology. The views presented in this article contribute to the knowledge about the field in the following ways. First, the illustrations show that the ‘whats’, ‘hows’, ‘whoms’ and ‘whys’ in the assessment practice are often negotiable, which prevents a simplified understanding of the four aspects of assessment literacy: comprehension; application; interpretation; and critical engagement. Second, the notion of transformative assessment could hinder a reductive use of assessment for learning and promote collaborative learning and social justice in today’s heterogeneous PE practices.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has led to social isolation measures in different contexts. In endurance sports, competitions worldwide have been canceled, affecting behavioral, psychological, and physical aspects. Objective: This study aimed to assess potential associations between stress, motivation, behavioral changes, and physical fitness in endurance athletes, and time in social isolation. Methods: A cross-sectional study with the participation of 201 athletes, including mountain bikers (n = 89), runners (n = 88) and triathletes (n = 24). Each participant answered questions about time spent in isolation; body weight; changes in training schedule during the isolation period; levels of motivation; stress levels; loss of physical fitness; what aspect of physical fitness was most jeopardized during the isolation period; alcohol consumption; quality of sleep; quality of diet; and whether they had been ill during the isolation period. Results: The results showed significant differences between the percentage of runners (4.5%) and triathletes (16.7%) who had been isolated from 1-10 days, and between the percentage of cyclists (41.6%) and runners (68.2%) in 11-20 days and >20 days (28.1% and 9.1%) respectively. Social isolation was significantly associated with at least one variable for the three groups of athletes; however, the runners were the most affected by the pandemic, presenting an association with low motivation, high stress, poorer quality of sleep, increased alcohol consumption, and loss of physical fitness. Conclusion: Our study showed that the period of social isolation, specifically over time > 10 days, generated significant changes in the perceptions of motivation, stress, alcohol consumption, and physical fitness of endurance athletes, with runners being the most affected group. This article considers the value of physical literacy. Unequivocal support for aspects of the concept can be found in philosophy, neuroscience, social justice, the nature of human development, psychology, and sociocultural studies. These areas of support will be outlined and then related to the practical value of physical literacy in the school context. This article will close with a discussion centered on claims that physical literacy is an end in itself rather than predominantly a means to other ends. It is the aim of this article to communicate the unique value of fostering physical literacy within the school context, including the support and relationship to other interrelated disciplines.

Abstract:
The article presents the results of the study of recommendations both for the rehabilitation of citizens, recognized primary and re-examination as disabled patients in the Russian Federation (2014). A positive result of the implementation of individual rehabilitation program was achieved in 45.1% of persons with disabilities, with the most significant recovery rates being at the level of 51.7% (integration of disabled persons in the family and society) and 50.8% (achievement of a partial compensation of lost functions). Disturbed functions were partially restored in 28.6% ofpersons with disabilities. As a result of the analysis of questionnaires of the evaluation tool (308forms), performed in the Care Home of Labor Veterans number 17, the Department of Labor and Social Protection of Moscow, there was revealed the medical and social status of persons with disabilities staying in this institution. The gender structure ofpersons with disabilities is characterized by a slight predominance ofwomen (59.7%) versus 40.3% of men. Among of all persons with disabilities there are dominated people aged of 75-89 years (51.9%). In the implementation of the comprehensive rehabilitation of disabled patients the need in drug therapy accounts of 100%, in the physiotherapy treatment - 89.6%, and physical therapy methods are used in 99.4% ofpersons with disabilities. With bearing in mind medical indications there are applied methods of socio-environmental, social and domestic, socio-psychological, sociocultural (art therapy, library therapy and adaptive physical education). For the creation of a barrier-free environment patients with disabilities are provided with the technical means of Rehabilitation. At the end of 2014 16.0 thousand people stand on the waiting list for the admission in stationary social care institutions for adults in the Russian Federation. With taking into account of demographical situation of an aging of the population and the gain in the demand for stationary establishments [2] intended for living of the older generation of people who cannot take care of themselves independently and need constant assistance, the further development of the social service system is feasible and has an important medical health value.

Abstract:
Establishing goals for adapted physical education is of paramount importance. However, establishing goals is more than writing behavioral objectives and completing an IEP. Understanding and using goals is essential for effective teaching behaviors and ultimately for learning. For this purpose three important aspects of goals are introduced: intention, purpose, and meaning. A distinction is also made between primary and concomitant goals. The primary goals are the improvement of physical and motor fitness and the development and acquisition of motor skills. Concomitant means being achieved along with, and these goals include language, social, and cognitive skills. Also, a distinction is made between abstract concepts and concrete actions or tasks. Finally, providing information about the goal of each task is a major function of the instructor. Three modes of presentation are described. Goals may be specified symbolically (verbally), iconically (by demonstrations), or actively (by having the students move in a structured environment). Adherence to and further development of these concepts is important to the improvement of the teaching/learning process in adapted physical education.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Physical exercise has a positive effect on the health of individuals. Long-term sedentary behavior can induce coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. Lack of physical exercise has become the fourth leading cause of death worldwide. Therefore, youth sports are very important for physical health. Objective: To systematically reveal the influencing factors of adolescents’ physical exercise and improve the effectiveness of interventions on adolescents’ physical exercise behaviors, this article is based on social ecology theory to study the structural model of adolescents’ physical exercise factors. Methods: The thesis considers factors affecting adolescent physical exercise as the research object and uses literature method, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, etc., to construct a structural model of factors affecting youth physical exercise, including four primary indicators and 19 secondary indicators. Results: Adolescent physical exercise is affected by the school, family, social and personal factors. Among them, family factors have the greatest impact on young people's physical exercise. Personal factors rank second, school factors, and social factors rank third. Among the family factors, the major influences on youth physical exercise are “parental support,” “parents’ cognition of physical exercise,” and “parental exercise habits.” Conclusions: The influencing factors of adolescent physical exercise involve four aspects: family, society, school, and self. Family factors have the greatest impact on adolescent physical exercise, and personal factors are the second, school factors, and social factors are the third. Abstract:
Background and aims. This survey evaluated the psycho-social impact of oral health on the quality of life in Romanian teenage and young adult orthodontic patients.Methods. Of the 300 standard questionnaires distributed in four dental offices, 125 questionnaires were returned. Each questionnaire contained 110 items, focusing on aspects like patients’ satisfaction, self-confidence, school/work performances and aesthetic concern, in relation to oral health. The patients were 16–25 years of age and all were undergoing or had undergone orthodontic treatment in the previous two years. Data analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Science software (SPSS), version 19.0.Results. 57.90% of the orthodontic patients participating in this study were happy about their dental status, 56.52% declared themselves not shy because of their oral health issues, 52.33% considered themselves as attractive to other people, and 57.29% replied (awarding a score between 8 and 10) that they were confident when smiling. Regarding self-confidence and school/work performances, 58% of the participants declared they avoided speaking in public because of the aspect of their teeth and 47.42% considered that their school/work performances during the fix appliance therapy stayed the same as before appliance. Nevertheless, the self-perceived facial aspect improved during orthodontic treatment (64.74% of replies had scores between 8 and 10 during the treatment versus 24.67% before the treatment). Several correlations were found between aspects such as psycho-social and functional variables, physical self-evaluation, and oral health issues.Conclusion. Patients’ satisfaction was improved during and after appliance therapy, for more than half of the participants. Self-confidence was low in relation to school/work performances; almost half of the patients reported stagnation in their school/work performances during the fix appliance therapy. However, more than 64% of the patients participating in this study were quite satisfied about their facial aspect during and after the orthodontic treatment. Thus, the common concerns of the patients anxious about their aspect during appliance therapy are not supported by the findings of this study.

Abstract:
Abstract Background and Purpose. The number of older adults with cancer is growing, increasing the need for professionals who are able to meet these patients' special needs. In palliative care settings, physical therapists strive to promote quality of life. Minimal research exists, however, to guide therapists working with patients with terminal illness. The purpose of this study was to gain knowledge that can be used by physical therapists to more effectively assess and treat older people with cancer who are receiving hospice care. Subjects and Methods. A qualitative single-case study with replication was conducted with 3 older women with cancer who are receiving hospice care. Interview data were analyzed using grounded theory techniques. Results. Four themes emerged as central to the experience of the informants: social relationships, spirituality, outlook on mortality, and meaningful physical activity. Conclusion and Discussion. In addition to maintaining physical function, physical therapists, who attend to nonphysical as well as physical aspects of care, may foster social cohesion, help maximize life's meaning, and support stabilizing strategies of older women with cancer who receive hospice care.

Abstract:
This era has been witnessing an increasing sophistication in the technological development, which had an impact on people’s quality of life. For instance, many kinds of currently evolving social media ease mutual communication and interaction among individuals. Nevertheless, there has been an increasing concern over the usage of social media given its excessive use and its adverse impacts. Some evidences of excessive social media usage share some similar indicators categorized into behavioral addiction. This phenomenon is increasingly alarming because technological development is inseparable from human life. Nowadays, there have been many methods offered to overcome social media addiction. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to examine m<em>uraqabah</em> concept as a spiritual intervention based on Islamic tenet to overcome addictive behavior using a integrative literature review from previous empirical studies that have been conducted in Indonesian and English both in qualitative and quantitative methods. The result from previous study has been proven that daily practical of <em>muraqabah</em> can manage the primary psychological aspects of humans. Therefore, spiritual intervention is evident to increase human psychological, social, spiritual, physical health, and individual’s self-actualization, which makes this therapy model as an effective and alternative way to cope with social media addiction and prevent a possibility of relapse behavior.

Abstract:
Purpose: Physical development is an integral part of a child’s overall development. Evidence suggests that physical development and physical activity are positively correlated with positive academic outcomes in elementary and secondary school students. However, research on physical development among preschool-age children lags behind. Therefore, the purpose of the current study was to assess the relationships between physical development and other aspects of development related to school readiness among 3- to 5-year-old children. Method: Teacher ratings of physical, cognitive, language, social–emotional, and literacy development were collected for 172 preschool students. Group differences were assessed using analysis of variance, and relationships among development scales were examined with Pearson correlations. Results: Pearson correlations indicate ratings of physical development are significantly and positively correlated with ratings on the other four development scales. Discussion/Conclusion: Findings support the importance of physical development as an aspect of school readiness. Practical implications and future research are discussed.

Abstract:
Background. Medical rehabilitation plays a key role in restoring functionality and social activity, as well as the physical and psychological aspects of quality of life (QOL) in patients with pathological fractures in the setting of osteoporosis (OP). Objective: to assess the effect of a new complex of physical rehabilitation with the inclusion of mechanotherapy on the physical and psychological aspects of QOL in patients with vertebral fractures (VFs) and OP. Methods. The study was carried out in the form of a prospective controlled open study in two parallel groups. 90 patients with osteoporotic VF were randomized in a 2:1 ratio to the intervention group (group 1, n=60), which received a new complex of physical therapy, or control group (group 2, n=30), which received only special complex of physical exercises. QOL and pain level assessment was performed at baseline and at follow-up on the 21st and 70th day in patients of both groups. A special questionnaire QUALEFFO-41 was used to assess QOL. Results. Administration of a new physical rehabilitation complex resulted in pain reduction and improvement of such QOL aspects as jobs around the house, mobility and mental state. No dynamics was found in QUALEFFO-41 scale in daily living activity and leisure, social activities, general health perception domains. Therapy effect on pain syndrome relief, expansion of daily living activity, mobility and increasement in overall QOL assessment, remains for at least 4 weeks after the rehabilitation course. Conclusion. New three-week physical therapy complex, including mechanotherapeutic methods with biological feedback and special physical exercises in the gym and pool can be recommended for the rehabilitation of patients with osteoporotic VF in order to increase QOL and reduce back pain.

Abstract. This research analyses students' opinions about the role of different social agents (family, friends, professor) in their practice of physical activity, as well as their perceived ability, enjoyment, and sports intentions. The study was carried out in the 3rd and 4th years of secondary school and 1st year of Bachillerato of a private school in Valencia (Spain), with a sample of 165 students. The data were obtained from a validated questionnaire formed from existing literature and aimed at knowing information on aspects such as the frequency with which their social environment talks to them about physical activity, they practice it, practice it with the students themselves or encourage them to practice it, the importance that the social environment attributes to physical education and to what extent these social agents are important in influencing students’ practice of physical activity. Finally, students’ perceived ability, their interest in physical activity, their enjoyment of it, and their intentions of practice are analysed, and then comparisons based on gender and the course to which they belong are analysed, checking in which aspects there are -or not- significant differences depending on these variables.

Abstract:
In this article, the authors consider the different approaches that can be used to examine the relationship between physical activity and aging. They propose that much is to be gained in our awareness of this dynamic relationship by drawing on multiple forms of knowledge that can generate diverse understandings regarding the impact of physical activity on physiological, psychological, and social aspects of aging. Accordingly, 3 different approaches to understanding the older physically (in)active body are presented. These are categorized as (a) the objective truth about the aging, physically active body; (b) the subjective truth about the aging, physically active body; and (c) “tales” about the aging, physically active body. The key underpinnings, strengths, and weaknesses of each approach are outlined. A number of examples from the literature are also offered to demonstrate where and how each approach has been used to contribute to our understanding about older people and physical activity. The more thorough, multidisciplinary, and wide spanning our knowledge of the aging, active body is, the more informed we might become in every dimension of its existence.

Abstract:
Introduction. The present paper continues the line of research related to the various forms of anomie in Russian society. In the proposed study, individual forms of anomie manifestation are considered on the example of deviant behaviour of adolescents (students aged 13-17 years old) depending on the gender and mechanisms of its perception by teachers of educational institutions (mental representation of the phenomenon). The aim of the research is to identify the main forms of individual anomie (as deviant behaviour of adolescents) from the standpoint of the teachers' perceptions of student behavior (mental representation of the behaviour of adolescents, depending on the factor of their gender and deviant / prosocial type of behaviour).Methodology and research methods. To obtain sociological data, the following methods were used: questionnaire survey, focused interview, testing. Further, the obtained results were processed by mathematical processing methods (the Fisher analysis of variance (type III SS, polynomial effect)). The influence and interaction of gender factors and the type of deviant/ prosocial behaviour in adolescents (through the mental representation of this phenomenon by teachers of educational organisations) were considered. The current research involved 1643 students aged from 13 to 17 years old and 832 teachers. Results and scientific novelty. As a result of the conducted research, it was determined that the most pronounced forms of deviant behaviour of modern adolescents in the perception of teachers of educational organisations are smoking and absenteeism. This deviant behaviour of adolescents aged 13-17 years old can be considered as the manifestation of individual anomie (in the perception of teachers as “abnormal”). The structure of adolescents' deviant behaviour in the “deviant” group differs more from the structure of adolescents' behaviour in the “prosocial” group. The gender factor of the research participants has a significant impact on the structure of teachers' perception of the behaviour of adolescents in the group of “deviant” and “prosocial” types of behaviour. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that for the first time the authors of the study considered the deviant behaviour of adolescents as the manifestation of individual anomie. Moreover, for the first time, the authors investigated the structure of deviant behaviour of adolescents aged 13-17 years old (with differentiation by gender) and identified the features of the “norm” of behaviour of adolescents in the Russian Federation in the perception of teachers of educational organisations. This allows us to identify the system-forming factors, which influence the attribution of adolescent behaviour to the category of “norm/normality” (as manifestations of anomie), and to consider the mechanisms of teachers' mental representation of the “deviant/prosocial” type of student behaviour, depending on gender.

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the motivations toward physical activity of a representative sample of students of Universidad de Burgos, and their relationship with the university sports service. 366 students (127 men and 239 women), average aged 21.29 years old, answered the validated scale about motives towards physical activity Goal Content Exercise Questionnaire (GCEQ), and other questionnaire about physical activity levels and participation on the university sports service activities. Our empirical analysis determined that 48.6% of the students perform at least one physical activity weekly, being the main motive health care followed by the development of the skills. Social aspects were not found to be significant. Less than a quarter of the students have used the university sports service. The lowest ranked aspect was compatibility of schedules. It is concluded that university students show low levels of physical activity, both in the college and outside it. The motives towards the physical exercise don’t show differences regarding other groups or age groups.

This chapter compares and contrasts the findings of the preceding empirical monograph chapters. The findings from these chapters are addressed in terms of how they illustrate the positives, negatives, and tensions that can be associated with social media use for professional development and learning. Across the various chapters, similarities in findings as well as apparent contradictions are discussed. By illuminating the potential and the perils of social media use and misuse, a pragmatic summary of the findings can inform wise use and nonuse of social media for professional development and learning by those involved in the field of physical education and sport pedagogy. Although prior literature and this monograph have begun to address some aspects of social media use in physical education and sport pedagogy, much remains to be explored. Topics, social media tools, methods, and theory that could be taken up or expanded upon in future research to advance the field are suggested.

AbstractSexuality and intimacy are important aspects of life that are frequently compromised after severe injury or illness, yet these aspects are often overlooked by medical and rehabilitation professionals. This case series describes the Occupational Therapy Sexuality and Intimacy program at a Military Treatment Facility (MTF). Three diverse clients with a range of physical, cognitive and emotional impairments were chosen to illustrate complexities of the Occupational Therapy Sexuality and Intimacy Program at this MTF, and unique skills employed by Occupational Therapists. Consistent themes discovered include: perceived value of the program; appreciation of safe spaces to discuss personal topics; and enhanced awareness of role identity, body image, and emotional regulation. These cases illustrate that sexuality and intimacy interventions may have profound effects on injured service members, improving social reintegration, and quality of life.

Abstract:
The subject of this paper is the sport socialization of athletes with disabilities; the object is to contribute to research and praxis through a review of the relevant sociological literature on the subject. The majority of the research, which uses structural-functionalism, is seen as a set of pioneering attempts to generate reliable information. However, the resulting information is too simplistic and theoretically deficient. The minority of the research, which uses interactionism, is seen as complementing the structural-functionalist studies by focusing on different aspects of the socialization experiences of athletes with disabilities. This research is insightful but it is collectively unsystematic. It is concluded that the study of disability sport socialization is in its infancy and is in urgent need of an adequate theoretical foundation. Three theoretical suggestions are offered to provide such a foundation, together with substantive suggestions for focusing on the themes of institutionalized physical activity and sport, social relationships, social configurations, and social control.

Abstract:
Abstract. Despite the fact that physical activity is universally acknowledged to be an important part of healthy functioning and well being, the full scope of its value is rarely appreciated. This paper introduces a novel framework for understanding the relationships between physical activity (and specific forms of activity like sports) and different aspects of human development. It proposes that the outcomes of physical activity can be framed as differential ‘capitals’ that represent investments in domain-specific assets – Emotional, Financial, Individual, Intellectual, Physical, and Social. These investments, especially when made early in the life course, can yield significant rewards, both at that time and for years to come. The paper also outlines some of the conditions necessary for the realization of Human Capital growth through sports and physical activity, focusing on the social factors that influence participation for children and young people.

Abstract:
Abstract In response to the opioid crisis, the American Physical Therapy Association has strongly advocated for physical therapy as a safe alternative to pharmacological pain management through the “#ChoosePT” campaign and the dedication of a PTJ special issue to the nonpharmacological management of pain. Physical therapists not only play an important role in the rehabilitation of the nearly 2 million adolescents and adults addicted to prescription opioids but also provide care to infants born to mothers with various drug addictions. This Perspective article explores the incidence, pathophysiology, and risk factors for neonatal abstinence syndrome and describes the clinical presentations of withdrawal and neurotoxicity in infants. Discipline-specific recommendations for the physical therapist examination and plan of care, including pharmacological management considerations, are outlined. Nonpharmacological management, including supportive care, feeding, parent education, social aspects of care, and follow-up services, are discussed from a physical therapy perspective. Abstract:
The anxiety, depression, and stress, along with diabetes, obesity, lack of vital power, and many other threats to human health, are the issues which humans have to face in 21st century due to modern bad lifestyles. Many medicines and scientific experiments to find the solution in new ways through pharma industries are being sought. The present manuscript not only deals the scientific aspects on these all afore said issues, but also scientifically analyzes the experiments of energy levels and Chakra energy of subjects, which were measured through pre and post of this Indian ritual. The visualizations have been measured through Kirlian energy aura meter, which quantifies the complex bio energy, energy disbalances, and Chakra energy of the individual. It is also a blend of science and spirtuality, and establishes strongly the fact that in the future, all global, physical, mental, and social problems will have a single solution; and that is Yajna and Mantra propounded by Indian Rishis.

Abstract:
Introduction: In today’s conditions, the aggravation of health and demographic problems in Ukraine arose the urgent need for physical rehabilitation and restoration of the health of our citizens by means of a non-medical nature. Under such conditions, specialists in physical therapy and ergotherapy become subjects of medical, social and psychological assistance, associates of the improvement of physical qualities, psycho-emotional stability and adaptation reserves. The aim of the study is to develop and substantiate the medical aspects of training a specialist in physical therapy and ergotherapy in the system of higher education in Ukraine. Materials and methods: To achieve the goal, a set of research methods, in particular theoretical ones, is used: historical-comparative and logical, terminological, quantitativequalitative (bibliometry), generalization, abstraction, analysis and synthesis, modeling, studying documents; empirical: observation, survey, analysis of products of activity, complex pre-nasol diagnostics. Conclusions: The theoretical synthesis of domestic and foreign experience is carried out and the author’s approach to solving an important and actual scientific problem of forming the medical competence of future specialists in physiotherapy and ergotherapy is proposed. An analysis of the international experience of training physical rehabilitation specialists has made it possible to identify the most promising American and European models that have a number of significant differences in the principles of organization and financing of pedagogical processes, professional etiquette and self-discipline of specialists.

Abstract:
Objective: To identify and compare physical activity levels in the Spanish population with chronic low back pain and their associated factors.Design: Cross-sectional national study.Subjects: A total of 3,220 adults with chronic low back pain from the 2017 Spanish National Health Survey. Methods: Three groups were defined according to physical activity level (low, moderate, and high) assessed with the International Physical Activity Questionnaire. Descriptive analysis and an ordinal regression model were performed. Results: Thirty percent of the subjects were classed as doing a low level of physical activity, 53% moderate, and 17% high. Females predominated in the low and moderate groups, and the subjects in the high group were younger. Subjects in the low group reported more use of pain-relief, more severe-extreme pain, more functional limitations, and worse quality of life and mental health. Factors more likely to be associated with higher levels of physical activity were: being male, normal body mass index or overweight, better health status, less pain, less physical and cognitive limitations, and more social support. Conclusion: Different aspects of the biopsychosocial framework were associated with the different levels of physical activity in subjects with chronic low back pain. These findings should be taken into consideration in order to establish suitable public health strategies. LAY ABSTRACTPhysical activity benefits subjects with chronic pain, although its performance depends on various factors. This study analysed 3,220 adults with chronic low back pain from the 2017 Spanish National Health Survey, in order to identify and compare levels of physical activity (International Physical Activity Questionnaire) and their associated factors. Thirty percent of subjects were classed as doing low levels of physical activity, 53% moderate, and 17% high. Females predominated in the low and moderate level groups, and subjects with a high level of physical activity were younger. Subjects in the low level of physical activity group reported more consumption of pain-relief, more severe-extreme pain, more functional limitations, and worse quality of life and mental health. Factors associated with more physical activity were being male, normal body mass index (BMI) or overweight, better health status, less pain, less physical and cognitive limitations, and more social support. In conclusion, different biopsychosocial aspects were associated with the different levels of physical activity in subjects with chronic low back pain, and this information should be taken into consideration in order to establish suitable public health strategies.

Abstract:
Abstract:
BackgroundRegular physical activity is protective against many chronic diseases. Despite this, 39% of adults in the UK are insufficiently active with an increased risk of chronic disease. Moving Medicine is an online resource developed by the FSEM to facilitate clinician-led conversations to reduce the risk of chronic disease through increased physical activity.AimThis is the first review to categorise and understand the principle motivators for and barriers against physical activity, for the primary prevention of chronic disease. It has informed the development of a national Moving Medicine resource.MethodsA structured search of MEDLINE and OpenGrey, augmented by handsearching of reference lists and contents of key journals. Qualitative evidence was then synthesised thematically.ResultsThirteen papers were selected as being of good quality (structured interviews and focus groups rather than questionnaires) and relevant to the aims of this review. Motivators identified were grouped into: anticipated positive effects, support/encouragement, social aspects, environmental aspects, goal-setting, and the use of feedback. Barriers to physical activity were grouped into: time constraints, physical health problems, environmental aspects, cost and poor communication.Building results into the resourceThe results of this review were presented to an expert panel of SEM doctors, GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, and patients. This multidisciplinary team then helped shape the primary prevention resource on the Moving Medicine website. See examples from the resource below.ConclusionGood quality conversations on physical activity in healthcare require an understanding of the key motivators and barriers reported by patients. Combining this qualitative review with the knowledge, skills and the experience of a multidisciplinary expert panel has enabled the development of a unique patient-centred primary prevention resource. Delivering this information through MovingMedicine.ac.uk is a vital step in using these important findings to inform routine clinical practice across the NHS. This should facilitate an increase in the proportion of adults meeting recommended physical activity levels and therefore reduce the rates of chronic disease.

Abstract:
COVID-19 (coronavirus) was discovered at the end of 2019 and became a global pandemic in 2020. To fight the COVID-19 pandemic, numerous countries around the world have imposed different social restrictions in the hopes of slowing the virus's spread. For more than two years, humanity has been exposed to stress, which has resulted in a significant change in human lives and a negative impact on people's health due to the need for a completely different adjustment to everyday life. Every new, unfamiliar scenario triggers tension, which is a natural response to a threat. All of this resulted in people being confined to their houses, prevented them from seeing loved ones or taking care of daily tasks, decreased their mobility, forced them to work from home, and completely altered their daily routines. The SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic has created a global social threat, both economic and medical, with significant lifestyle changes. Part of the strategy to limit the spread of the virus was social isolation, which is incompatible with the human need for physical activity. The COVID-19 pandemic has stopped sport and its development in a significantly different way than any known pandemic so far. People whose main occupation is sports were especially affected. The fight against the spread of COVID19 has resulted in the closure of sports clubs, facilities, gyms, stadiums, swimming pools, dance and fitness studios, physical therapy centers, parks and playgrounds. A significant number of studies were conducted during the pandemic in order to determine the impact of the pandemic on various aspects of social life, precisely because of the situation that was imposed on the entire society and because of the change in the format of everyday life that deviated from the usual. Physical activity is one of them. This work aims to review those works by systematizing the goals, contents and results of those researches, in order to determine how much they were represented and what conclusions were reached based on them.

Abstract:
Earthquakes that have occurred consecutively in Lombok since July 29, 2018, have had a tremendous impact on all aspects of the lives of disaster victims, both physical, social, and psychological aspects. Various children's reactions to disasters according to the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) depend on the damage suffered during the disaster. The death of a family member or friend is very traumatic, followed by the loss of family homes, schools, pets, and damage to the community. Therefore, efforts to implement recreational therapy in the form of fun-based games and games education is needed to help mental recovery of children, so as to prevent continuing trauma. After doing recreational therapy in 20 villages, it shows positive changes for the children to be more cheerful and require continuous therapy, especially those that support children's education and visual-motor skills.

Abstract:
Cancer-related fatigue is one of the most prominent problems in cancer patients, which often remains inadequately treated, because the etiology of this syndrome is still relatively unknown. This study aimed to examine demographic, clinical, and psycho-social determinants of physical and mental aspects of cancer-related fatigue. The study was conducted on 64 women with a breast cancer diagnosis, aged between 33 and 79 years (M=58.36, SD=11.30) while undergoing radiation therapy. For the assessment of physical and mental fatigue, the Fatigue Assessment Scale (FAS Serbian) was used. Demographic and clinical data, symptoms of anxiety and depression (DASS-21), neuroticism (BFI), and functional and structural social support (Serbian translation MOS-SSS) were examined as well. The results showed that depression, anxiety, and neuroticism correlated positively with both physical and mental fatigue, while structural and functional social support correlated negatively only with the physical dimension. Participants who have a partner reported significantly lower levels of physical fatigue compared to those who are not in a relationship, while such a difference was not detected in the case of mental fatigue. Neuroticism and relationship status were the most important predictors of physical fatigue, while neuroticism alone was the most significant predictor of mental fatigue. The results showed that physical and mental fatigue have different correlates, and that personality traits and social support might be of greater relevance for understanding fatigue, than clinical and demographic factors. These findings may be of importance when assessing the risk factors for fatigue and planning psycho-social interventions to empower breast cancer patients.

Abstract:
Special Olympics programs provide competitive sport opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities. This study investigated athletes’ perceptions of motivation in Special Olympics. Using Self-Determination Theory (SDT) as a guiding framework to explore athletes’ experiences, 38 Special Olympians (21 males and 17 females) from British Columbia, Canada were interviewed. The data suggested that factors that enhanced autonomy, competence, and relatedness were linked to the participants’ motivation in Special Olympics programs. These factors included positive feedback, choice, learning skills, demonstrating ability, friendships, social approval, and fun. Social support from significant others was a key factor related to participation motivation. There was also evidence for the motivating aspects of extrinsic rewards. Motivation was undermined primarily by conflicts with coaches and teammates.
