Abstract:
The article addresses the issue of single motherhood for women in individual, social and pedagogical aspects. The personality and social conditions of single motherhood were analysed. Two main contexts of experiencing motherhood by contemporary women were pointed out, which are social norms and cultural patterns as well as individual, intrapsychic conditions of perceiving oneself as a mother. Social references and pedagogical conditions of single motherhood were shown. It was pointed out that the way women experience motherhood depends to a large extent on family, professional, colleague situations and random events. While discussing the issues of loneliness and solitude, the pedagogical aspect of this phenomenon and the multitude of possible attitudes and references to motherhood experienced were pointed out. The article indicates that social expectations for single mothers imply how women perceive their motherhood and how it affects the pedagogical dimension of its implementation. Motherhood as a conscious decision of a woman and as an undesirable state, as a consequence of events over which the woman-mother has no influence – these are other versions of motherhood described and analysed in the article. The article ends with considerations on the pedagogical dimension of the implementation of motherhood, and therefore on the role and place of children and family as the closest environment of women-mothers. The final part also indicates the need for institutional support for single mothers and their families.

Abstract:
The subject of this paper is the influence of social networks on the personal branding of athletes. The goal is to point out the importance of social networks in the process of personal branding of athletes. A responsible personality marketing management enables athletes to continue their successful careers even after the end of their engagement in sport. Social networks have an increasingly important role in this because they are also a measure of the influence of athletes, which can be quantified by the number of followers on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Some athletes earn more from their sponsorship agreements and activities on social network sin which they promote a certain brand than from professional contracts and salaries in their clubs. In the context of the topic of this paper, social networks can be viewed in two ways, as a means of improving the image of athletes, and as a tool that athletes use to promote brands. In the first case, the basic outcome is their higher commercial value, while in the second, the commercial effects are reflected in the earnings from brand promotion. This paper shows the connection between social networks, famous athletes, marketing tools applied in personal branding and commercial effects on that basis. The basic assumption that the commercial effects of personal branding of athletes can be successfully realized in the environment of social networks is confirmed.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the role of socio-economic context in affecting the relationship between personal values and the purchase of fair trade (FT) products. Design/methodology/approach The study was based on data and information collected by means of a web-administered survey and was performed in two steps. First, an explanatory factor analysis on the Schwartz value system and a confirmatory factor analysis on socio-economic context variables were carried out. Second, the per capita GDP at provincial level and the predicted factor scores were used in an ordered probit model to explain the expenditure level of FT products. Findings The results provide evidence that the value system has an effect on the consumption of FT products, but the economic context, in particular the average wealth at province level, is also relevant and plays a role by either affecting FT product purchasing levels directly or interacting with personal values. Research limitations/implications Because of the electronic submission and the specific channel used in the survey, the sample cannot be considered as representative of Italian consumers, and thus the analysis has a merely descriptive (non-inferential) function. Originality/value While several studies investigated how personal values affect consumers’ behaviour directly or indirectly, very few studies analysed the way socio-economic context interacts with the value structure and the way both aspects influence ethical consumption. The present study analyses this last aspect and provides evidence of the role economic context plays in affecting the relationship between personal values and FT products consumption.

Abstract:
The personal income tax is the main budget-forming tax, which plays a significant role in the redistribution of personal income and ensuring budget adequacy. Due to this tax, the state has the opportunity to influence the level of income and savings of citizens, it is a social regulator. The objective of the paper is to form a mechanism for collecting personal income tax in Ukraine and to study the fiscal efficiency of personal income tax and to determine the main directions of personal income tax reform. The paper considers the mechanism of personal income tax collection, which is based on the Tax Code of Ukraine and the main elements of the taxation system. It is proved that the tax system of Ukraine is characterized by instability, fiscal orientation with a limited and poorly developed regulatory function. The foreign experience of personal income taxation, tax rates and features of taxation is investigated in this paper. In foreign countries, tax rates are progressive. First of all, it should be noted that wages make up most of the income of individuals, and sometimes it is the only source of income. Taking into account the fact that Ukraine does not apply progressive personal income tax rates, this causes social injustice. It is proposed to use the concept of marginal income and not to tax income in the form of wages in the amount of the minimum amount set for each year. One of the important aspects of reforming the tax system of Ukraine is the introduction of a single reporting on personal income tax and a single social contribution filed by tax agent. It is proposed to declare income and disclose information about the property status of all individuals for the previous year. This will help to control and compare the payment of personal income tax with other tax reports and fill the state budget. Establishing a tax culture of taxpayers and their cooperation with fiscal officials requires some time, during which they must actively carry out explanatory work by fiscal officials and implement a system of preventive measures against tax evasion or concealment of income, and then apply a strict system penalties to the payer. According to this system the payer is unprofitable to hide income, as the fine exceeds its size. These measures will not only ensure the implementation of the regulatory but also the fiscal function of the tax.

Abstract:
Drawing on digital identity theories, social software engineering theory (SSE), and the Privacy Safeguard (PriS) methodology, we examined the way that personal information uploaded on social media (SM) imposes privacy issues. Throughout a review on users’ self-representation on SM, we examined the impact of self-determination and self-disclosure on users’ privacy, and we identified the social attributes (SA) that cause privacy implications. This paper specifies 18 SA that users employ to achieve their optimal level of representation while summarizing possible ways that these attributes provoke users’ identification. In particular, our research has shown that SM users represent their personas by unveiling SA to construct popular, representative, and conversational profiles. As disclosing SA increases privacy implications, we intend to help users build profiles that respect their privacy. Examining users’ SA deepens our understanding of disclosing personal information on SM while leading to a better quantification of identity attributes; furthermore, users’ top five most revealing attributes were summarized. Considering that SSE addresses users’ privacy implications from an early stage of systems designing, our research, identifying the SA, will be helpful in addressing privacy from a socio-technical aspect, aiming at bridging the socio-technical gap by drawing designers’ attention to users’ social aspects.

Abstract:
Reciprocity is here considered as an internalized social norm, and a questionnaire to measure individual differences in the internalized norm of reciprocity is presented. The questionnaire, Personal Norm of Reciprocity (PNR), measures three aspects of reciprocity: positive reciprocity, negative reciprocity, and beliefs in reciprocity. The PNR has been developed and tested in two cultures, British and Italian, for a total of 951 participants. A cross‐cultural study provides evidence of good psychometric properties and generalizability of the PNR. Data provide evidence for criterion validity and show that positive and negative reciprocators behave in different ways as a function of the valence (positive or negative) of the other's past behaviour, the type of feasible reaction (reward versus punishment), and the fairness of their reaction. There is reflected the approach to understanding the essence of terrorism based on the authors’ concept of intrapersonal conflict. Initially, authors identify the psychological preconditions for manifestations of terrorism that were based on the results of a cross-cultural monitoring analysis with coverage of more than 1930 respondents. At the second stage, on the empirical sample of more than 300 subjects, authors distinguish a spectrum of qualities that ensure personal confrontation and stabilization in a multicultural field. Psychological security is defined as a condition for ensuring the prevention of terrorism and the formation of a multicultural identity. The issues of prevention and neutralization of terrorist tendencies are considered on the basis of actualization of such mechanisms of personal psychological security’s insurance as harmonization, emotional stability and protective strategies.

Abstract:
Free time is understood differently and can be defined in a number of ways but it is usually associated with something pleasant, time activities of our choice. The vital factor which affects individual forms of spending leisure time is age. Society can be divided into four separate age groups: children, adolescents, adults, senior citizens. Each of these groups enjoy distinct amount of spare time and spends it differently from the others. The environment a person lives in plays a role in the selection of pastimes. Pastimes in an urban agglomeration differ from these in a rural one. We must bear in mind financial situation as it is often believed that the more funds the more possibilities of spending spare time. Yet, we should not lose our common sense. We should remember of our immediate family and, far and foremost, of our own personal desires.

Abstract:
In a neoliberal political context, educational reform is seen as largely dependent on the individual teacher and his or her ability to continue developing and improving his or her practice with the ultimate goal of improving student outcomes. Professional development (PD) is therefore reliant on teachers to embrace new models of practice, to engage with these new approaches, to correctly interpret the PD ideas for application to the teaching and learning process, and ultimately implement new models and ideas in their classrooms (Huber & Hiltmann, 2011). This paper seeks to examine more closely three aspects of PD that have been found in the research literature to have a significant impact on the effectiveness of PD programs, because of their focus on, and consideration of the individual teacher. Aligning with Fraser, Kennedy, Reid, and McKinney (2007), successful PD programs that have a distinct focus on the personal, social and occupational aspects of teacher development will be discussed.

Abstract:
Introduction. Direct taxes are an important financial regulator of socio-economic processes, they are one of the most important sources of budgeting and an essential tool of state regulation. The personal income tax is the main tax through which social policy is implemented in the developed countries of the world. The advantages of this tax include its social justice and fiscal efficiency, as it is able to make the level of taxation directly dependent on the amount of income of taxpayers. In addition, progressive tax rates and benefits can reduce the tax burden on the poor and increase it on high-income earners. The purpose of the article is to considerate the theoretical and practical aspects of administration of the personal income tax in the conditions of reforming of fiscal policy of Ukraine, systematization of directions of improvement of collecting of the personal income tax to local and state budgets. Methods. Methods of dialectical analysis and synthesis, deduction, induction logical generalization, comparison and formalization are used in the article. Results. The article is devoted to the study of the essence and role of personal income tax administration. Peculiarities of citizens’ income formation as an object of taxation are considered. Monitoring and analysis of indicators of personal income tax to local and state budgets was carried out. The growth rates of nominal revenues of personal income tax and military duty, real and nominal wages are studied. It was found that the main factors reducing the level of fiscal efficiency of personal income tax in Ukraine are the shadowing of incomes and the outflow of labor, including skilled personnel. Ukraine’s tax policy for the last five years is fiscally oriented and does not take into account the social aspect of personal income taxation. As a result of the research, the directions of increasing the efficiency of personal income taxation in Ukraine based on foreign experience are systematized. Prospects. The current model of personal income tax does not sufficiently perform a socioeconomic function, does not provide a socially equitable distribution of income between different segments of the population. In recent years, the fiscal significance of the personal income tax has remained, but the system of personal income taxation requires the application of progressive rates. Therefore, promising areas of future research should be the development and improvement of the mechanism of personal income taxation in the context of ensuring their socio-economic interests.

Abstract:
The article considers ethnocultural features of the identity crisis manifestations as a psychosocial phenomenon of modern society. Unstable sociocultural environment, rapidly changing living conditions and identity problems associated with these changes determine the relevance of this work. The article discusses various approaches to the study of the phenomenon of identity. The goal of this work is comprehensive examination of ethnocultural identity, which is a structural element of the social identity of a person, a psychological category that characterizes a person’s awareness of his / her belonging to a certain ethnic and cultural community. Its main functions - orienting and defensive - are crucial in the era of globalization transformations, helping the individual to maintain integrity and sociocultural uniqueness. In most cases, ethnic identity does not dominate among other components of personality identity, but at the same time, it allows a person to feel and determine his / her uniqueness, subjectivity, originality, find the answer to the questions “Who am I?” in this world and determine the attitude to his/her and other ethnic communities. The feeling of belonging to an ethnic group gives an answer to the question “Who are we?”, and belonging to a cultural community makes it possible to understand “What are we?” Values, acting as a guiding function, show what is important in life of a person and society, and determine the motivation and goals of the desired changes. The work also raises the question of the causes of the ethnocultural identity crisis. Deformation of the value system is considered as one of the main determinants of the identity crisis. Practical application of this work can be found in the area of dialogue of cultures to carry out a multicultural policy in modern context.

Abstract:
Background. The perception of mortality is consistent with pro-social practices that determine social development. Combining the tools of racial-anthropological and sociocultural approaches makes it possible to identify the universal characteristics and interpretations of mortality in modern society.Aim of the study: identification of pro-social practices and specific interpretations of mortality through the unity and opposition of the racial-anthropological and socio-cultural aspects of social reproduction.Methods. A mass survey of the population of the Russian Federation (n = 1200) aged 18 to 65 living in different regions of the Russian Federation (55 % women, 45 % men) was conducted. A content analysis of media and Internet materials was performed to fix estimates of death and mortality in the Russian Federation over the past five years (n = 1456) in publications or informational messages.Results. The impact of the anthropological and sociocultural aspects was manifested through how and what people think about death, as well as how death exists in a social context. The personal-psychological context of the perception of death and mortality, the memorialization of places of death and the socio-economic and cultural-organizational practices of death determine the personal and social forms of interpretation of mortality. Content analysis of media materials and the Internet revealed a significant increase in the volume and frequency of attention to death and mortality. This is due to the situation with the pandemic, as well as the actualization of the fears of Russians about their well-being and social conditions for accepting and assessing death and mortality.Conclusion. Prosocial practices, being a personal experience of experiencing and a tool for social inclusion in acceptable norms of behavior, influence sociocultural meanings and anthropological conditions for the perception of mortality.
