Abstract:
Kabel merupakan salah satu elemen utama pada jembatan cable stayed yang fungsinya memikul dan meneruskan beban pada balok dan lantai jembatan ke struktur pilon. Elemen kabel perlu selalu dilakukan monitoring dan pemeliharaan selama umur jembatan, sehingga gaya kabel yang bekerja tidak melampaui kapasitasnya. Salah satu metode dilakukan dengan uji dinamik, dimana nilai parameter dinamik (frekuensi dan mode getar) berkorelasi dengan gaya tarik kabel. Selain parameter dinamik, gaya tarik kabel juga dipengaruhi oleh parameter fisiknya, yaitu parameter tak-berdimensi l2 akibat efek kelengkungan (sag effect) dan parameter tak-berdimensi x akibat efek kekakuan lentur (bending stiffness effect). Berbagai rumusan pendekatan telah dikembangkan oleh para ahli, diantaranya: taut string, beam string, wei-xin, dan zui et.al. theory. Studi ini akan membahas perbandingan rumusan tersebut dengan mengambil studi kasus Jembatan Pedamaran 1, Riau. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa parameter tak berdimensi l2 dan x “cukup berpengaruh” dan perlu ditinjau dalam perhitungan, dimana kombinasi dari kedua parameter tersebut memberikan pengaruh sebesar 1.77% - 6.00% terhadap estimasi gaya tarik kabel. Penggunaan rumusan empiris taut string theory dan beam string theory memberikan estimasi gaya tarik kabel dengan tingkat kesalahan di bawah 7,0%, sedangkan rumusan empiris wei-xin dan zui et.al. memberikan hasil dengan akurasi paling baik dengan kesalahan di bawah 3,0%

Abstract:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan unjuk kerja kabel laut three core isolasi minyak antara Pulau Jawa dengan Madura dengan kabel isolasi XLPE single core pada Jembatan Suramadu. Analisis dilakukan pada sejumlah parameter yaitu; tahanan arus bolak-balik, kerugian dielektrik,kemampuan hantar arus,jatuh tegangan,daya sisi kirim,rugi-rugi daya,daya sisi terima, dan efesiensi penyaluran kabel. Penelitian ini juga melakukan prediksi jangka waktu kemampuan kabel isolasi XLPE pada Jembatan Suramadu melayani pasokan daya listrik mengacu pada data pertumbuhan kebutuhan daya listrik di Pulau Madura dengan menggunakan Metode Regresi Linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kabel isolasi XLPE jenis three core mempunyai nilai tegangan lebih kecil,serta kemampuan hantar arus (KHA) dan efisiensi saluran transmisi yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan kabel laut isolasi minyak jenis three core.

Abstract:
Automatic Weather Sation (AWS) sampai saat ini belum ada produksi dalam negeri, dengan demikian dibutuhkan penelitian lebih lanjut menyangkut AWS yang dapat mendeteksi parameter cuaca. Maka dibangunlah sistim pengamat parameter cuaca ini, yang dilengkapi dengan 4 buah sensor, yaitu: DHT22 untuk mengukur suhu dan kelembaban, BMP180 untuk mengukur tekanan udara, LDR untuk mengukur penguatan cahaya (Iluminasi), serta opto-interrupt-device untuk mengukur kecepatan angin dengan kondisi cuaca yang diamati pada suatu titik tempat. Data sensor akan diolah dalam mikrokontroler Arduino, lalu ditampilkan melalui VB.Net dan data akan tersimpan ke dalam database MySQL. Akses pengiriman data menggunakan wireless NRF24L01 yang dapat berfungsi sebagai transceiver. Sistim yang dirancang akan dibandingkan dengan AWS milik Universitas Nasional. Dengan hasil pengujian tiap parameter diantaranya suhu error maximum 1.76%, kelembaban error maximum 4.3%, iluminasi error rata-rata 1.5%, tekanan udara error maximum 0.0099%, kecepatan angin erorr maximum 21.6%.

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi keandalan submarine power cable 20 kV Bangka-Lepar. Submarine power cable ini juga menggambarkan jaringan distribusi tegangan menengah di Bangka-Lepar dan menentukan korelasi berbagai parameter yang mempengaruhi operasi jaringan kemudian memberikan informasi tentang prosedur peletakan kabel. Selanjutnya penelitian dilakukan dengan analisis reliabilitas berdasarkan model statistik. Model ini digunakan untuk mengevaluasi karakteristik operasional kabel seperti tingkat kegagalan dari penyebab alami atau manusia serta juga digunakan untuk memilih antara dua rute kabel dan menentukan satu keandalan maksimum.

Artikel ini menyajikan skema desain dan prinsip operasi transmisi gigi dengan komposit roda dan elemen elastis. Teknik dan hasil analisis untuk menentukan tingkat mobilitas roda gigi dengan roda komposit dan elemen elastis. Dinamika pendaratan pesawat pada kapal induk melibatkan proses perambatan gelombang sementara di tali dan halus perlambatan pesawat. Ini membawa tantangan besar dalam mensimulasikan seluruh proses karena yang pertama membutuhkan sedikit waktu untuk melakukannya menjamin kestabilan, sementara nanti membutuhkan langkah waktu yang besar untuk mengurangi waktu perhitungan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, makalah ini mengusulkan model dinamika multibodi skala penuh dari sistem roda gigi penangkapan memanfaatkan skema integrasi langkah-langkah variabel. Terutama jenis elemen kabel baru yang mampu menggambarkan perpindahan besar dan sewenang-wenang dalam ruang tiga dimensi diadopsi untuk menyatukan kabel kawat, dan gaya peredam digunakan untuk memodelkan efek sistem hidrolik

Kabel listrik berfungsi untuk menyalurkan energi listrik ke peralatan listrik yang sering digunakan di kehidupan sehari – hari. Namun dalam pemanfaatannya kurang maksimal karena hanya digunakan sebagai penghantar arus listrik saja, padahal dapat digunakan sebagai Komunikasi data antar perangkat seperti komputer, handphone dan perangkat mobile lainnya. Teknologi yang menerapkan sistem dimana memanfaatkan kabel listrik sebagai Komunikasi data yang biasa disebut dengan Power Line Communication (PLC). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan Implementasi sistem PLC dalam membangun sebuah jaringan menggunakan media kabel listrik untuk menghubungkan beberapa perangkat jaringan tanpa memerlukan instalasi baru karena jalur yang digunakan sudah terdistribusi di setiap tempat menggunakan perangkat powerline, serta menggunakan perangkat jaringan yang terhubung secara wireless ke perangkat mobile pada Jaringan wireless LAN (WLAN). Sistem PLC diterapkan pada tiga kali Pengujian, diantaranya membandingkan sistem PLC dengan tanpa sistem PLC, diterapkan berdasarkan jarak serta berdasarkan beban listrik yang diterapkan. Tiga Pengujian yang dilakukan dilihat berdasarkan parameter Quality of Service (QoS) seperti throughput, delay, jitter dan packet loss. Pada pengujian antara sistem PLC menghasilkan kinerja QoS lebih baik dibandingkan tanpa PLC, kemudian untuk pengujian bedasarkan jarak menghasilkan QoS yang baik walaupun cenderung konstan serta pengujian berdasarkan beban listrik menghasilkan QoS yang baik meskipun cenderung konstan.

IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) yaitu suatu layanan multimedia dalam bentuk televisi, video, audio, text, graphic, data yang disalurkan ke pelanggan melalui jaringan IP (Internet Protocol), yang dijamin kualitasnya (Quality of Service), keamanannya (security), realibility (kehandalannya) dan memungkinkan komunikasi dengan pelanggan secara dua arah atau interaktif (interactivity) secara “real time”. IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) menawarkan interaktivitas dua arah antara end user dengan sistem IPTV melalui komponen berupa Set Top Box, dimana end user dapat menggunakan layanan yang bersifat on demand. Pada penelitian ini akan di analisa kesiapan jaringan akses kabel tembaga untuk implementasi layanan broadband IPTV (Internet Protocol Television). Analisa ini dilakukan untuk menjelaskan cara mengukur QoS (Quality of Service) untuk IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) dari berbagai parameter yaitu: throughput, packet loss,dan delay. Mekanisme QoS (Quality of Service) mampu menghitung dan mengukur berapa besarnya nilai throughput, packet loss, delay dan mencocokannya dengan kebutuhan aplikasi yang ada digunakan dalam jaringan akses tersebut. Untuk itu diperlukan jaringan akses yang handal untuk dapat mendukung penyediaan layanan IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) pada kabel tembaga, karena bandwidth yang saat ini disediakan untuk IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) adalah sebesar 6 Mbps, dengan kecepatan downstream sebesar 6 Mbps, kecepatan upstream sebesar 1 Mbps, redaman sebesar 25 dB, dan S/N (signal to noise) sebesar 38,4 dB. Sehingga dengan menggunakan parameter QoS (Quality of Service) yaitu throughput, packet loss, dan delay pada jaringan akses kabel tembaga IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) kita dapat mengetahui kualitas layanan yang diterima pelanggan agar layanan pada jaringan akses IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) ini bisa bekerja lebih optimal.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang jaringan wireless yang memanfaatkan jalur wireless sebagai backbone pada semua access point kecuali basestation point yang tetap mempergunakan kabel UTP sebagai backbone-nya dan memperluas area jangkauan jaringan wireless yang mampu mencakup seluruh bagian di Universitas Widyatama. Hasil desain jaringan wireless dengan WDS akan diuji dengan melakukan simulasi. Kemudian pengujian akan difokuskan pada parameter delay, packet loss, throughput, dan jitter dengan menggunakan metode Quality of Service (QoS) menggunakan aplikasi Axence netTools. Desain jaringan wireless dengan Wireless Distribution System (WDS) memiliki tingkat fleksibilitas yang lebih baik daripada backbone yang menggunakan kabel Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa throughput, delay, packet loss, dan jitter menunjukkan hasil yang bagus. Hasil pengujian throughput didapatkan nilai rata-rata throughput dengan presentase sebesar 90%, dapat dikategorikan BAGUS dengan indeks 3, sedangkan hasil pengujian delay didapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar107,8 dapat dikategorikan SANGAT BAGUS dengan indeks 4, kemudian nilai rata-rata packet loss dengan presentase 2%, dapat dikategorikan BAGUS dengan indeks 3, dan hasil pengujian jitter diperoleh nilai yang bervariasi dengan nilai rata-rata jitter sebesar 1,71 ms, dapat dikategorikan BAGUS dengan indeks 3.

Abstract:
In recent years, the development trend of power grids character shows increased demand for using cables of both current overhead and newly constructed lines. In order to preserve reliable operation and to predict the maintenance requirements, it is crucial to regard not only the parameters certified by manufacturers, but also externalities induced by real environment and incorporate these externalities into cable models in simulation software. The diploma thesis deals with determining of characteristic parameters of single core cables in real environment, which are affected by real grounding methods of metal shielding. The emphasis is put on analysis of current cable models in simulation software PSCAD and its evaluation using two-step experiment 1) measurement of shunt parameters in laboratory using electronic bridge model and 2) on field measurement of cable series parameters in real environment.

Abstract:
The subject of this thesis is to become familiar with the different parameters describing the lines, and the possibility of modeling data and power models. The thesis also outlined the difference in the mechanical structure of different types of cables. The practical part focuses only on the power cables and measure their basic parameters. Then is created computer model which describes the behavior of cable lines at higher frequencies than are primarily intended. The final section is an experimental network created by the PLC for remote reading of electricity meters, and it measured different transmission properties.

At the beginning is diploma thesis focused on a distribute power line parameters measurement and examination changes of this parameters depending on using of various power line cables. On the basis of measurements is made a transmission channel in Matlab & Simulink, where are executed simulations with power transmission line. The simulated power line is based on measured distribute parameters or physical proportions of cabels. By changing different parts of simulated communication channel is a symbol error rate expressed on the lenght of transmission line.

Abstract:
The calculation of frequency-dependent cable parameters is essential for simulations of transient phenomena in electrical power systems. The simulation of transients is more complicated than the calculation of currents and voltages in the nominal frequency range. The model has to represent the frequency dependency and the wave propagation behavior of cable lines. The introduced model combines an improved subconductor method for the determination of the frequency-dependent parameters and a PI section wave propagation model. The subconductor method considers the skin and proximity effect in all conductors for frequency ranges up to few megahertz. The subconductor method method yields accurate results. The wave propagation part of the cable model is based on a cascaded PI section model. A modal transformation technique has been used for the calculation in the time domain. The frequency-dependent elements of the related modal transformation matrices have been fitted with rational functions. The frequency dependence of cable parameters has been reproduced using a vector fitting algorithm and has been implemented into an resistor-inductor-capacitor network (RLC network) for each PI section. The proposed full model has been validated with measured data.

The work focuses on outlet of the electrical power from power plants operating in urban areas. After a short analysis of the general possibility of leading out electric power from power plants of various types, thesis continues to describe of outlet electrical power from PPC Červený Mlýn. Subsequently, are calculated short-circuit conditions in the main switching station. It follows an analysis of power lines. The last part dealt with the issue of reliability of sources in connection with random transition processes in the electrical network and the light of the operational reliability of electrical power equipment.

Abstract:
The purpose of this master’s thesis is foremost to provide a simple guide how to build elements of optical metropolitan area network. The basic model consists to sequence of construction, network topology, passive and active parts. The collection contains examples of alternative technology such as Wireless LAN with different frequency. The optical network construction based on optical cable, fibres, splices, trays, adapters, connectors and active parts for example a lot of media convertor models. After that there are demonstrating type of wavelength division multiplexer used in metropolitan area network – passive planar PCL splitter. One of the passive planar splitter are used to increase optical fibre channel. At the end of the collection a simplified examples of used measurements – optical time domain reflectometry and optical fibre transmission. Contains standard protocols or reflectogram. The conclusion of this thesis summarizes costs of FTTb (Fibre To The Building) model of optical metropolitan area network in Czech republic and future contribution for society.

Abstract:
Abstract A new structural model updating method based on the dynamic force balance is presented. The method consists of rearranging the spectral equation so that measured modes and natural frequencies can be used to compute directly updated stiffness coefficients. The proposed method preserves both the structural connectivity and reciprocity, which translate into sparsity and symmetry of the stiffness matrix, respectively. Large changes in small-valued stiffness coefficients are avoided using parameter weighting in the rearranged spectral equation solution. It is shown that the proposed method produces results which are similar to the results obtained using Alvar Kabe’s method, with the advantages of simpler formulation and smaller computational cost. A simple example of an 8 degrees-of-freedom mass-spring system, originally used by Kabe to present his method, is used here to evaluate the proposed method.

Abstract:
Abstract The goal of updating methods in dynamic is to improve the finite element models by means of experimental tests. In fact, we try to estimate a better value of the mass (M) and stiffness (K) matrices. Several ways are possible to complete the updating of M and K : - Global techniques which consist to correct the entire matrices without keeping a physical meaning of the M and K modifications. This approach transforms the finite element “knowledge” models into “representation” models which are more accurate in the measured frequency range but don’t represent the actual structure. This kind of method has been developed first by Baruch (1978) and Berman (1979) and improved by lots of researchers (Kabe, 1985 and Wei, 1990). - Local techniques try to compute the best values of the physical parameters defined on each element of the modelling. This method is a very stiff one since the optimization of the numerical modes is required over a very large number of parameters. To be able to use this approach we must select only the elements which must be modified to reduce the size of the optimization problem. To do so, we will apply the localization methods. In this paper we will present two ways to locate the modelling errors as well as a new approach based on thermographic, data. Each localization methods will be tested and we will show the influence of the expansion technique and the improvement due to the use of the static modes. The thermographic measurements give us a large number of data but partial because the information gathered by the camera concernes only the sum of the principal strains (Olivier et al, 1988 and Ryall et al, 1992). But the advantages of this method are the number of points which is important and the nature of the data which is a strain information (very sensitive to the local defaults of modelling).
