Abstract:

INTRODUÇÃO: Quando se faz ileostomia com a papila, a perda líquida é bem menor e a irritação local às vezes é nula, podendo o paciente viver sem o uso da bolsa. OBJETIVO: Mostrar uma técnica operatória em que se preserva a papila na ileostomia ou na anastomose íleo-retal. Ela consta da preservação da vasculatura do ceco e íleo terminal e secção do ceco deixando-se 1 cm de orla na papila ileal que é fixada na pele por contra-abertura para ileostomia definitiva. Quando se resseca o cólon, a papila é anastomosada ao reto (íleo-papilo-retostomia). RESULTADOS: São bons, pois há diminuição do número de evacuações, da perda de líquidos nas fezes e da irritação epidérmica. CONCLUSÃO: O procedimento é exequível e traz resultados que melhoram a qualidade de vida do paciente.

Abstract:

Abstract The question of whether or not Papias recorded anything about John’s Gospel has garnered a lot of attention in the scholarly realms of New Testament and Patristics alike. Most notably, Charles E. Hill has recently argued that a portion of Eusebius’ testimony (HE 3.24.5-13) on the origins of the Gospel of John derives from the record of Papias. Aspects of Hill’s proposal are largely convincing, particularly the links he draws between Eusebius’ testimony and other writers who knew the Papian tradition. However, Hill has overestimated the influence of Papias on Eusebius’ account and missed a crucial, albeit subtle, correction by Eusebius against his hero, Origen. This article suggests that the argument for Gospel compatibility found in 3.24.8b-13 is Eusebius’ own direct response to the criticisms raised by Origen that the divergent chronology of the Gospel of John demonstrates its historical unreliability.

Abstract:

Artykuł dotyczy papieru i tektury jako materiałów będących podstawowym elementem pracy studentów architektury. W dobie cyfryzacji oraz zmian klimatycznych ważne jest zrównoważone podejście do zarządzania materiałami – w tym przypadku wykorzystywanymi na wydziałach architektury. Celem badań była próba znalezienia zrównoważonych metod wykorzystania papieru i tektury przez studentów architektury, a także zwiększenie świadomości od najmłodszych lat. W badaniach wykorzystano technikę wywiadu pogłębionego, metodę badań ilościowych i statystycznych, heurystyczną oraz eksperymentalną. Na podstawie badań oszacowano, iż przez okres pięciu lat studiów architektonicznych zużywa się papier i tekturę w ilości wymagającej do ich produkcji wycięcia ponad 600 drzew. Podejście eksperymentalne obejmowało warsztaty i „burzę mózgów” podczas których studenci rozpatrywali sposoby bardziej zrównoważonego wykorzystania danych materiałów. Efektem tych rozważań jest wystawa CYKL otwarta 10 stycznia 2023 roku na Wydziale Budownictwa i Architektury Politechniki Lubelskiej przez Koło Naukowe Architektury i Budownictwa Ekologicznego „Archinature”. Obejmuje ona instalacje inżynierskie, architektoniczne i artystyczne przedstawiające w nieszablonowy sposób cykl produkcji papieru, cykl jego „życia” oraz przejście do ery cyfrowej w projektowaniu architektonicznym. Wystawę poprzedzały warsztaty dla dzieci ze szkoły podstawowej, które miały czynny wkład w budowę części instalacji. W związku z tym zaproponowano metody na zrównoważone podejście do materiałów wykorzystywanych na wydziałach architektury.

Abstract:

Przedmiotem badań były XVI-wieczne druki biblijne (15 wybranych kazań) z kolekcji Biblioteki Fundacji Wiktora hr. Baworowskiego we Lwowie. Analiza stanu ich zachowania została przeprowadzona metodą stanfordzką. Jest ona statystycznym sposobem oceny stanu zachowania księgozbiorów, stosowanym w tym celu w większości badań nad zbiorami bibliotecznymi (papierem, blokiem książki, oprawą). W ocenie stanu zachowania papieru uwzględnia się jego zaplamienia, przebarwienia, stopień przedarcia oraz liczbę podwójnych zgięć. Oceniając blok książki, uwzględnia się stopień uszkodzenia szycia bądź klejenia, co wpływa na wzmocnienie kart w bloku. Z kolei przy ocenie oprawy bierze się pod uwagę trwałość tego połączenia oraz ogólny stan zachowania powierzchni oprawy. Łączna ocena tych trzech kryteriów umożliwia zaszeregowanie badanego egzemplarza do jednej z trzech kategorii: druki w bardzo stanie, druki wymagające prac konserwatorskich, druki w bardzo złym stanie, które należy wyłączyć z użytkowania. Przeprowadzona ocena stanu zachowania papieru, bloku i oprawy publikacji biblijnych z lwowskiej kolekcji pozwoliła zakwalifikować obiekty do poszczególnych kategorii: pierwsza – brak; druga – dziewięć egzemplarzy, co stanowi 60% całej próby; trzecia – sześć egzemplarzy, co stanowi 40% całej próby. Ocenę każdego druku poszerzono o dodatkowe badania wytrzymałościowe papieru oraz o ocenę stopnia zakwaszenia papieru. Papier pod względem wytrzymałości mechanicznej jest w bardzo dobrym stanie. Wyznaczenie pH papieru wykonywano metodą kontaktową z wykorzystaniem na pH-metru Elmetron CX-741, z elektrodą zespoloną EPX-3 z opcją automatycznego ustalenia końca pomiaru. W każdym druku pH zbadano w ośmiu punktach. Pięć punktów wyznaczono na stronie tytułowej, z tego cztery były zlokalizowane w narożnikach karty tytułowej, a jeden w środku. Trzy pozostałe pomiary wykonano na losowo wybranych kartach w bloku książki, dwa na obszarze niezadrukowanym, jeden na zadrukowanym. Wartość zmierzonego pH świadczy o niewysokim zakwaszeniu. Średnia pH badanych książek zawiera się powyżej pH 6, stąd obiekty o pH powyżej wartości 6 nie wymagają odkwaszania. Na podstawie wizualnej analizy zniszczeń biologicznych można stwierdzić, że księgozbiór w przeszłości nie był przechowywany w odpowiednich warunkach, o czym świadczą zniszczenia wywołane przez owady, a także zaplamienia i zacieki pochodzenia grzybowego.

Abstract:

Badanie stanu zachowania XVI-wiecznych druków biblijnych z kolekcji Biblioteki Fundacji Wiktora h. Baworowskiego we Lwowie przeprowadzono metodą opisową z autopsji. Ocenę każdego woluminu poszerzono dodatkowo o ocenę stopnia zakwaszenia papieru, zniszczenia biologiczne, a także wykonano prosty test na zginanie. Osobno oceniano uszkodzenia oprawy, konstrukcji książki i bloku starodruku. Po dokonaniu ocen cząstkowych egzemplarz klasyfikowano do jednej z czterech kategorii. Badaniu poddano 17 zachowanych egzemplarzy, spośród których 10 jest w nienajlepszym stanie zachowania i powinny zostać wyłączone z użytkowania. Papier pod względem wytrzymałości mechanicznej jest w bardzo dobrym stanie. Książki nie wymagają odkwaszania. Na podstawie wizualnej analizy zniszczeń biologicznych można stwierdzić, że księgozbiór w przeszłości nie był przechowywany w najlepszych warunkach, o czym świadczą zniszczenia wywołane przez owady i grzyby, a także zaplamienia i zacieki na papierze.

Abstract:

The procedure of scaling is one of the elemental routines in architectural drawing. Along with paper as a fundamental drawing material, scale is the architectural convention that follows the emergence of drawing in architecture from the Renaissance. This analysis is questioning the scaling procedure through the position of drawing in the conception process. Current theoretical researches on architectural drawing are underlining the paradigm change that occurred as a sudden switch from handmade to computer generated drawing. This change consequently influenced notions of drawing materiality, relations to scale and geometry. Developing the argument of scaling as a dual action, technical and imaginative, Constant's New Babylon drawing work is taken as an example to problematize the architect-project-object relational chain.

Abstract:

The paper shows the possibilities of increasing the hydrophobicity of the paper surface by applying layers of hydrophobic material to the surface. Various application techniques and the following substances were tested: stearic acid, shellac and zinc-hydroxide. Hydrophobicity was tested using the modified Cobb method, measuring the contact angle and drop retention time. The presence of hydrophobizing agents was confirmed by FTIR spectroscopy. It was found that the methods of applying the hydrophobizing agent, used in this work, give much better results with stearic acid, compared to shellac. This manuscript presents novel possibilities of increasing paper surface hydrophobicity by applying layers of hydrophobic material to the surface. Various layer application techniques were examined, as well as substances including: stearic acid, shellac and zinc-hydroxide. Hydrophobicity was tested using the modified Cobb method, measuring the contact angle and drop retention time. The presence of hydrophobizing agents was confirmed by FTIR spectroscopy. Based on the results achieved, it can be concluded that the methods of applying the hydrophobizing agent, used in this work, give much better results with stearic acid, compared to shellac.

Abstract:

The need to increase the productivity and capacity of power transformers has conditioned the production of insulating papers of a higher thermal class. For this purpose, various techniques of solid insulation modification were applied, which enable the increase in thermal and chemical stability of the insulating paper during the operation of the transformer. The applied additives, primarily dicyandiamide (DICY) and polyacrylamide (PAM), are one form of cellulose modification in the final stages of paper production. A significant difference between the papers is the nitrogen content in the paper, which is characterized by the addition of amine compounds (additives). The paper presents the application of infrared spectroscopy with totally attenuated reflection (FTIR-ATR) in the characterization of paper samples. The aim is to observe the difference between regularly kraft and thermally upgraded paper reflected in the presence or absence of characteristic functional groups for additives. The strip identification at 2194-2154 cm-1 confirmed the presence of dicyandiamide additives (DICY) in the spectrum of the sample of thermally upgraded paper, which is different compared with the spectrum of regular kraft paper.

Abstract:

Cet article étudie selon une approche alternative l’histoire culturelle du papier dans l’Europe occidentale moderne, en remettant en perspective les interactions entre papier imprimé et papier non imprimé. On y trouve une critique de la formule diachronique de Marshall McLuhan : « du manuscrit à l’imprimé ». McLuhan soutient que l’invention de l’imprimerie a conduit à une transformation historique brutale : le papier non imprimé n’a plus servi qu’à nourrir la production de papier imprimé, tandis que le statut moderne de l’auteur s’est trouvé irrévocablement rattaché à la nouvelle matérialisation de l’innovation et de l’autorité : le caractère d’imprimerie. Cet article préfère mettre l’accent sur les différentes strates dans l’usage du papier, telles qu’on les découvre dans les pratiques culturelles de la première modernité européenne (on peut penser au papier comme médium visuel), et plaide pour une réinterprétation de l’impact produit par l’imprimerie. Imprimé et non-imprimé ont été considérés à égalité et sont restés inséparables, car ils étaient chacun l’effet de la demande croissante de papier dans tous les domaines de la vie publique et privée. Pour montrer les effets culturels de cette tension entre papier imprimé et non imprimé, l’article propose une analyse de la fiction de l’éditeur. On sait que dans certains textes poétiques, le produit imprimé se réfère à sa propre histoire, en remontant à un manuscrit sur papier non imprimé.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to analyse the transformation of the term intellectual, which is established as a kind of paradigm in modern and postmodern times. The focus of the research is first of all on the reduction of the role of the intellectual in modern times, which was echoed in the thoughts of numerous philosophers of modern and postmodern epoch. Then the postmodern dystopian novel Plato's Papers by the English writer Peter Aykroyd, is analysed. It is a dystopian work in which the aforementioned tendencies were given an artistic articulation. The hero of the novel Plato, as the research shows, represents a travestied image of the ancient philosopher Plato and acts in a modern telematized polis of the distant future. The works and fate of the postmodern Plato are articulated in the novel in a way that hints that escapism is the only possible answer to the challenges of the destructive relativizations of the postmodern era.

Comme l’a montré l’historiographie récente, Nicolas Robert, au service du papetier Didot-Léger, installé dans la région parisienne, brevette en 1799 la fabrication du papier en continu non pas pour des nécessités techniques, mais pour échapper au poids d’une main d’œuvre particulièrement ingérable. Le procédé est amélioré en Angleterre dans la décennie suivante. Le seul domaine dans lequel le papier en continu s’impose vraiment est le papier peint, une forme de décor alors en plein essor. Mais au Royaume-Uni, le papier peint est imposé à la feuille et le fisc britannique s’oppose à tout changement. C’est donc le manufacturier alsacien Jean Zuber qui met au point une machine à papier adaptée aux besoins du papier peint en 1830, prenant ainsi une sérieuse avance sur ses concurrents.

Abstract:

Despite this renewed attention, scholars have avoided situating their analyses of this pericope within the major debates about Papias' work. The question of whether Papias employed the methods of Greek rhetoric sits as the most relevant issue for this discussion. Though many scholars champion rhetorical readings of Papias, detractors contend that they overstate his ostensibly technical vocabulary (e.g., τάξις, συντάσσω, χρεία, διάλεκτος, ἑρμηνευτής in Frag. 2). They generally construe these as Papias' colloquial or historical characterizations of Gospel narratives. Whether and how Papias testifies to source-critical concerns for Synoptic studies—such as the Sayings Gospel Q, a proto-Matthew, and the oral transmission of Jesus' life—depends on their interpretation. Opposition primarily disputes the meaning of individual words in the context Papias provides them, so that his rhetorical forms and flourishes remain relatively unscathed from criticism. Papias' death of Judas has never figured into this discussion, but it nonetheless points in favor of a rhetorical backdrop.

Der folgende Artikel geht der Frage nach, welche Begriffe hilfreich sein könnten, den Widerstand von Illegalisierten wahrzunehmen, die sich ihrer Abschiebung widersetzten. Wie nützlich sind hier Konzepte wie „ziviler Ungehorsam“, „Verzweiflungstat“ und „politischer Protest“; und was bedeutet gemeinsamer Widerstand im Kontext nahezu totaler Beraubung an Möglichkeiten und Rechten? Dafür beschäftigt sich der Text sich mit einer brennenden Zelle in der Schubhaft im Polizeianhaltezentrum Wien Hernals. Mit Hilfe von Interviews mit einem der Gefangenen sowie Beobachtungsprotokollen aus der Gerichtsverhandlungen gegen jene sechs Schubhaftgefangenen, die versuchten ihre Abschiebung durch Inbrandsetzung der Zelle zu verhindern, wird die zynische Verdinglichung von nicht-europäischen „anderen“ als koloniale Kontinuität und Produktion illegalisierter Arbeitskraft diskutiert. Gegen Verdinglichung und Entrechtlichung wird dann das „billigende Hören“ als Praxis der Forschung wie der Rechtsprechung vorgeschlagen. Mit dem Fokus auf marginalisierte Formen des Widerstands soll die folgende Auseinandersetzung dazu beitragen, über die Vorstellung von Kollektivität und Öffentlichkeit als vermeintliche Wesenszüge des Widerstands hinauszugehen. Nur durch diese Perspektivenverschiebung, so soll argumentiert werden, kann es der Forschung zukünftig gelingen, jene marginalen Formen des Widerstands wahrzunehmen, welche inmitten der Entrechtlichung und Verdinglichung sowie vor und unterhalb jeder Gemeinschaft stattfinden: Widerständigkeit, die sich der Kollektivität und Öffentlichkeit im gleichen Maße entzieht, wie sie mit der Dichotomie von Verzweiflung versus politischem Protest bricht.

Życie Karola Wojtyły obfitowało w wiele wydarzeń wzniosłych i dramatycznych. Jego biografia miała znaczący wpływ na kształtowanie się poglądów tego myśliciela na temat człowieka i jego egzystencji. Stawiał on wysokie wymagania sobie i innym. Był i jest przykładem osoby, która skutecznie zmierzała ku świętości. Jako Jan Paweł II spotykał się z ludźmi z prawie wszystkich zakątków świata, prowadził z nimi dialog, nauczał, doradzał i napominał. Szczególne miejsce w jego sercu mieli reprezentanci młodego pokolenia, o których prawa zabiegał. Wielokrotnie wskazywał, że wychowanie jest najważniejszym zadaniem kultury i ma istotne znaczenie dla kształtowania stosunków społecznych. Nawiązując do faktów z życia Ojca Świętego, autorka poszukuje wskazówek dla teorii i praktyki edukacyjnej. Zachęca do refleksji na temat wychowania integralnego obejmującego rozwój ludzkiej osoby w wielu wymiarach (m. in. umysłowym, estetycznym, moralnym, religijnym, społecznym, patriotycznym, fizycznym i zdrowotnym). Losy i twórczość wielkiego Polaka od dziesięcioleci inspirują do podejmowania działań związanych z samodoskonaleniem oraz służbą Bogu i bliźniemu.
