Abstract:
The provision of public information contributes to the enrichment and enhancement of the data produced by the government as part of its activities, and the transformation of heterogeneous data into information and knowledge. This process of opening changes the operational mode of public administrations, leveraging the data management, encouraging savings and especially in promoting the development of services in subsidiary and collaborative form between public and private entities. The demand for new services also promotes renewed entrepreneurship centred on responding to new social and territorial needs through new technologies. In this sense we speak of Open Data as an enabling infrastructure for the development of innovation and as an instrument to the development and diffusion of Innovation and Communications Technology (ICT) in the public system as well as creating space for innovation for businesses, particularly SMEs, based on the exploitation of information assets of the territory. The Open Data Trentino Project has initiated and fosters the process of opening of public information and develops as a natural consequence of this process of openness, the creation of innovative services for and with the citizens. In this paper we present how our project acts on long-chain, from raw data till reusable meaningful and scalable knowledge base that leads to the production of data reuse through the implementation of services that will enhance and transform the data into information capable of responding to specific questions efficiency and innovation.

Currently the science and innovation area of the Republic of Moldova is undergoing an extensive process of transformation aiming to increase the effectiveness, to facilitate the inclusion of national science into the ERA. Taking into account that the European integration is a major priority for the Republic of Moldova, the public research and innovation sector should comply with the best European and international practices. In this regard, the Republic of Moldova developed Research Strategy till 2020 that provides enhancing the quality and efficiency of administrative processes for implementation of the best innovative measures aiming at the development of human, institutional and infrastructure capabilities. In actual conditions, it is important to align with the European practices, in special with the policies promoted by the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI), which has a key role in policy-making on research infrastructures in Europe, the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) – a cloud for research data in Europe, background, policy information, events and publications, ERRIS (Engage in the Romanian Research Infrastructures System) - platform for research infrastructures, research & technological services, etc. Nowadays, for science and innovation area of the Republic of Moldova is necessary to build tools for fostering the continuous dialogue between science, Government, society, stimulating the private sector access to research infrastructure, scientific laboratories and results, creating the appropriate conditions for facilitation the process of actual challenges turning into opportunities.

Abstract:
Consideration of treating incompetent perforating veins remains a conundrum based on scientific evidence available till date. While subfascial endoscopic perforator surgery (SEPS) proved to be a worthy alternative for open surgery, other even less invasive techniques were being introduced by the late nineties of the last century. Percutaneous thermo-ablation techniques are still being used today and seem more effective than non-thermal techniques. However, thermal techniques require anaesthesia and potentially may cause inadvertent damage to surrounding tissues such as nerves. Cyanoacrylate adhesive has a proven record, but not for the treatment of chronic venous disease of the leg. Innovation has led to the development of the VenaSeal® Sapheon Closure System which has been designed to use a modified cyanoacrylate glue as a new therapy for truncal vein incompetence. This paper explores the feasibility of ultrasound guided cyanoacrylate adhesive perforator embolization (CAPE). Results show a 76% occlusion rate of incompetent perforating veins without serious complications leading to the conclusion that further investigation with a dedicated delivery device in a larger patient population is warranted.

Modern globalization makes companies follow world trends and form development strategies for 5–10 years on the basis of analysis of the future changes. One of the crucial factors of competitive ability is its innovation in products and services, their characteristics; business-models and systems of resources management. To provide successful future, the company management actively works on such HR aspects as strategies of formation, involvement, holding of the key resource — company employees potential. Human resources diversity management is a growing trend in most international companies: the main source of innovation ideas is their employees who have various styles of thinking. These are the employees who have wishes, needs, interests, personal opinions and above all ideas which can be used by a company in the future. Staff diversity allows it to look diff erently, at diff erent angles and through diff erent eyes at many things and situations. Their diversity gives numerous ideas which develop and transform companies. The review of the approaches and characteristic of human resources diversity is presented here. Benchmarking of HR diversity management projects includes description of solved tasks and carried out projects, changes of human resources management and business performance indices. The research has been carried out in term of the “Innovation Approaches to Human Resources Management: Analysis of Successful Practices” project. The project period is from December 2018 till March 2019. As this problem is not widely presented in open sources, the materials will be interesting and useful for HR-managers in various economy sectors who work both in Russia and abroad and aim at long-term business development.

Abstract:
As a result of the new economic policy, fourteen Economic and Technological Development Zones (ETDZs) were established in twelve coastal cities between 1984 and 1988. The first ETDZs were Dalian, Yantai, Qingdao, Lianyungang, Nantong, Minhang (Shanghai), Hongqiao (Shanghai), Caohejing (Shanghai), Ningbo, Fuzhou, Guangzhou and Zhanjiang. Unlike Special Economic Zone (SEZ), an ETDZ is located in the suburban area of a major city. Special policies are adopted within the ETDZ. An administrative committee, normally selected by the local government, oversees economic and social management in the zones on behalf of the local government. The category ‘SEZ’ covers a broad range of more specific zone types, including Free Trade Zones (FTZ), Export Processing Zones (EPZ), Free Zones (FZ), Industrial Estates (IE), Free Ports, Urban Enterprise Zones and others. The second wave of expansion of ETDZs was led by the establishment of Pudong New District in Shanghai in 1990. This decision was aimed at elevating the status of Shanghai, making it the “Dragon Head” of the Yangtze River Delta Region, which comprises of Shanghai and parts of Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Prior to the establishment of this new district, the Pearl River Delta Region – comprising nine cities in Guangdong – was the forerunner of China’s open door policy. However, unlike Guangdong, which lies at the south-eastern coast of China, Shanghai’s economic development will have more impact on China’s vast hinterland. Between 1992 and 1993, a total of eighteen state-level ETDZs were established – Yingkou, Changchun, Shenyang, Harbin, Weihai, Kunshan, Hangzhou, Xiaoshan, Wenzhou, Rongqiao, Dongshan, Guangzhou Nansha, Huizhou Daya Bay, Wuhu, Wuhan, Chongqing, Beijing and Urumchi. Two special projects were added later. Founded in 1993, the Ningbo Daxie Development Zone is an investment by China International Trust and Investment Corporation (CITIC), and comes under its management. The other special project is the Suzhou Industrial Park, which was founded in 1994, and is a joint cooperation between the governments of China and Singapore. After 2000, in an effort to fuel the development of the Central and Western regions, the central government also endorsed the establishment of a further eleven national ETDZs in inland regions. Up till now, China has a total of fifty-four state-level ETDZs – thirty-two in coastal regions, and twenty-two in the hinterland. The region of Hong Kong has a role and status of innovation. The planners in this unique part of East Asia expect that some new concepts can help the former British colony to embrace a new economic model: a model in which design, marketing and branding play the crucial role in economy.

Abstract:
Background:Primary Sjogren’s syndrome (pSS) is a chronic systemic autoimmune disease characterized by disorders of effector T cell subpopulations such as Th1, Th2, Th17, regulatory T cells, and follicular helper T cells 1 2. Autophagy is an evolutionarily conserved self-digestion process that plays an important role in T cell-mediated immune response3. The relationship between autophagy and T cell subsets was unclear in pSS up till now.Objectives:To landscape the autophagy-related multiple gene expression signature in pSS classification and discover the influence of autophagy in T cell subsets.Methods:Gene expression profiles of pSS samples (GSE66795, GSE51092, GSE154926) were acquired from GEO database. A set of significant G-ATGs were intersected from the global gene of patients and 232 autophagy genes (ATGs) which were obtained from the Human Autophagy Database (HADb, http://www.autophagy.lu/). In training dataset (GSE66795, including 155 patients and 29 healthy controls), non-negative matrix factorization was used to divided patients by G-ATGs expression microarray data. An autophagy score model divided patients into the high-autophagy score and low groups by ssGSEA scores of gene according to normalized G-ATGs training data. Further, new classifications were validated by both peripheral blood samples (GSE51092, 90 patients) and salivary gland tissue (GSE154926, 43 participants).Results:Two distinct subtypes were identified and validated by 206 selected significant G-ATGs in training datasets (figure 1A,B) and validation datasets according to the autophagy score (figure 1D,E,F) Combined with clinical information of salivary gland dataset, it was found that most patients with early pSS were grouped in the high autophagy, while advanced patients were grouped in the low (figure 1G). Patients in high-autophagy group had higher levels of Treg cells and Th2 cells but lower concentrations of Th17 and Th1 in peripheral blood (figure 1C, P <0.05). Similar results were also observed in salivary gland tissue (figure 1H, P <0.05).Conclusion:Patients with different autophagy status differs from each other. Autophagy is closely corelated with lymphocyte subpopulations in patients with pSS. This paper introduces some ideas towards the definition of a data model for open lesson plans. Lesson plans are a particular kind of aggregation resource that can include other types of educational resources, particularly learning objects. From this point of view, we consider on the data model available specifications in the learning domain, such as the Learning Object Metadata standard. This Open Lesson Plan proposal is performed in the context of a Web 2.X application, Edu-AREA, aimed at supporting teaching and teaching innovation. This application enables users to manage open lesson plans as living entities during their life-cycle: from their design, till their documentation with learning results and outcomes, passing through their use during the teaching/learning activity. In Edu- AREA users can share their lesson plans and they can be copied, adapted and “curated” by other users. Based on the principles of the Open Educational Resources movement, open lesson plans are proposed as an opportunity for sharing and collaboration among users.

Abstract:
IntroductionThe Internet (especially in the so-called Web 2.0 phase), digital media and file-sharing networks have thrust copyright law under public scrutiny, provoking discourses questioning what is fair in the digital age. Accessible hardware and software has led to prosumerism – creativity blending media consumption with media production to create new works that are freely disseminated online via popular video-sharing Web sites such as YouTube or genre specific music sites like GYBO (“Get Your Bootleg On”) amongst many others. The term “prosumer” is older than the Web, and the conceptual convergence of producer and consumer roles is certainly not new, for “at electric speeds the consumer becomes producer as the public becomes participant role player” (McLuhan 4). Similarly, Toffler’s “Third Wave” challenges “old power relationships” and promises to “heal the historic breach between producer and consumer, giving rise to the ‘prosumer’ economics” (27). Prosumption blurs the traditionally separate consumer and producer creating a new creative era of mass customisation of artefacts culled from the (copyrighted) media landscape (Tapscott 62-3). Simultaneously, corporate interests dependent upon the protections provided by copyright law lobby for augmented rights and actively defend their intellectual property through law suits, takedown notices and technological reinforcement. Despite a lack demonstrable economic harm in many cases, the propertarian approach is winning and frequently leading to absurd results (Collins).The balance between private and public interests in creative works is facilitated by the doctrine of fair use (as codified in the United States Copyright Act 1976, section 107). The majority of copyright laws contain “fair” exceptions to claims of infringement, but fair use is characterised by a flexible, open-ended approach that allows the law to flex with the times. Until recently the defence was unique to the U.S., but on 2 January Israel amended its copyright laws to include a fair use defence. (For an overview of the new Israeli fair use exception, see Efroni.) Despite its flexibility, fair use has been systematically eroded by ever encroaching copyrights. This paper argues that copyright enforcement has spun out of control and the raison d’être of the law has shifted from being “an engine of free expression” (Harper & Row, Publishers, Inc. v. Nation Enterprises 471 U.S. 539, 558 (1985)) towards a “legal regime for intellectual property that increasingly looks like the law of real property, or more properly an idealized construct of that law, one in which courts seeks out and punish virtually any use of an intellectual property right by another” (Lemley 1032). Although the copyright landscape appears bleak, two recent cases suggest that fair use has not fallen by the wayside and may well recover. This paper situates fair use as an essential legal and cultural mechanism for optimising creative expression.A Brief History of CopyrightThe law of copyright extends back to eighteenth century England when the Statute of Anne (1710) was enacted. Whilst the length of this paper precludes an in depth analysis of the law and its export to the U.S., it is important to stress the goals of copyright. “Copyright in the American tradition was not meant to be a “property right” as the public generally understands property. It was originally a narrow federal policy that granted a limited trade monopoly in exchange for universal use and access” (Vaidhyanathan 11). Copyright was designed as a right limited in scope and duration to ensure that culturally important creative works were not the victims of monopolies and were free (as later mandated in the U.S. Constitution) “to promote the progress.” During the 18th century English copyright discourse Lord Camden warned against propertarian approaches lest “all our learning will be locked up in the hands of the Tonsons and the Lintons of the age, who will set what price upon it their avarice chooses to demand, till the public become as much their slaves, as their own hackney compilers are” (Donaldson v. Becket 17 Cobbett Parliamentary History, col. 1000). Camden’s sentiments found favour in subsequent years with members of the North American judiciary reiterating that copyright was a limited right in the interests of society—the law’s primary beneficiary (see for example, Wheaton v. Peters 33 US 591 [1834]; Fox Film Corporation v. Doyal 286 US 123 [1932]; US v. Paramount Pictures 334 US 131 [1948]; Mazer v. Stein 347 US 201, 219 [1954]; Twentieth Century Music Corp. v. Aitken 422 U.S. 151 [1975]; Aronson v. Quick Point Pencil Co. 440 US 257 [1979]; Dowling v. United States 473 US 207 [1985]; Harper & Row, Publishers, Inc. v. Nation Enterprises 471 U.S. 539 [1985]; Luther R. Campbell a.k.a. Luke Skyywalker, et al. v. Acuff-Rose Music, Inc. 510 U.S 569 [1994]). Putting the “Fair” in Fair UseIn Folsom v. Marsh 9 F. Cas. 342 (C.C.D. Mass. 1841) (No. 4,901) Justice Storey formulated the modern shape of fair use from a wealth of case law extending back to 1740 and across the Atlantic. Over the course of one hundred years the English judiciary developed a relatively cohesive set of principles governing the use of a first author’s work by a subsequent author without consent. Storey’s synthesis of these principles proved so comprehensive that later English courts would look to his decision for guidance (Scott v. Stanford L.R. 3 Eq. 718, 722 (1867)). Patry explains fair use as integral to the social utility of copyright to “encourage. . . learned men to compose and write useful books” by allowing a second author to use, under certain circumstances, a portion of a prior author’s work, where the second author would himself produce a work promoting the goals of copyright (Patry 4-5).Fair use is a safety valve on copyright law to prevent oppressive monopolies, but some scholars suggest that fair use is less a defence and more a right that subordinates copyrights. Lange and Lange Anderson argue that the doctrine is not fundamentally about copyright or a system of property, but is rather concerned with the recognition of the public domain and its preservation from the ever encroaching advances of copyright (2001). Fair use should not be understood as subordinate to the exclusive rights of copyright owners. Rather, as Lange and Lange Anderson claim, the doctrine should stand in the superior position: the complete spectrum of ownership through copyright can only be determined pursuant to a consideration of what is required by fair use (Lange and Lange Anderson 19). The language of section 107 suggests that fair use is not subordinate to the bundle of rights enjoyed by copyright ownership: “Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work . . . is not an infringement of copyright” (Copyright Act 1976, s.107). Fair use is not merely about the marketplace for copyright works; it is concerned with what Weinreb refers to as “a community’s established practices and understandings” (1151-2). This argument boldly suggests that judicial application of fair use has consistently erred through subordinating the doctrine to copyright and considering simply the effect of the appropriation on the market place for the original work.The emphasis on economic factors has led courts to sympathise with copyright owners leading to a propertarian or Blackstonian approach to copyright (Collins; Travis) propagating the myth that any use of copyrighted materials must be licensed. Law and media reports alike are potted with examples. For example, in Bridgeport Music, Inc., et al v. Dimension Films et al 383 F. 3d 400 (6th Cir. 2004) a Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals held that the transformative use of a three-note guitar sample infringed copyrights and that musicians must obtain licence from copyright owners for every appropriated audio fragment regardless of duration or recognisability. Similarly, in 2006 Christopher Knight self-produced a one-minute television advertisement to support his campaign to be elected to the board of education for Rockingham County, North Carolina. As a fan of Star Wars, Knight used a makeshift Death Star and lightsaber in his clip, capitalising on the imagery of the Jedi Knight opposing the oppressive regime of the Empire to protect the people. According to an interview in The Register the advertisement was well received by local audiences prompting Knight to upload it to his YouTube channel. Several months later, Knight’s clip appeared on Web Junk 2.0, a cable show broadcast by VH1, a channel owned by media conglomerate Viacom. Although his permission was not sought, Knight was pleased with the exposure, after all “how often does a local school board ad wind up on VH1?” (Metz). Uploading the segment of Web Junk 2.0 featuring the advertisement to YouTube, however, led Viacom to quickly issue a take-down notice citing copyright infringement. Knight expressed his confusion at the apparent unfairness of the situation: “Viacom says that I can’t use my clip showing my commercial, claiming copy infringement? As we say in the South, that’s ass-backwards” (Metz).The current state of copyright law is, as Patry says, “depressing”:We are well past the healthy dose stage and into the serious illness stage ... things are getting worse, not better. Copyright law has abandoned its reason for being: to encourage learning and the creation of new works. Instead, its principal functions now are to preserve existing failed business models, to suppress new business models and technologies, and to obtain, if possible, enormous windfall profits from activity that not only causes no harm, but which is beneficial to copyright owners. Like Humpty-Dumpty, the copyright law we used to know can never be put back together.The erosion of fair use by encroaching private interests represented by copyrights has led to strong critiques leveled at the judiciary and legislators by Lessig, McLeod and Vaidhyanathan. “Free culture” proponents warn that an overly strict copyright regime unbalanced by an equally prevalent fair use doctrine is dangerous to creativity, innovation, culture and democracy. After all, “few, if any, things ... are strictly original throughout. Every book in literature, science and art, borrows, and must necessarily borrow, and use much which was well known and used before. No man creates a new language for himself, at least if he be a wise man, in writing a book. He contents himself with the use of language already known and used and understood by others” (Emerson v. Davis, 8 F. Cas. 615, 619 (No. 4,436) (CCD Mass. 1845), qted in Campbell v. Acuff-Rose, 62 U.S.L.W. at 4171 (1994)). The rise of the Web 2.0 phase with its emphasis on end-user created content has led to an unrelenting wave of creativity, and much of it incorporates or “mashes up” copyright material. As Negativland observes, free appropriation is “inevitable when a population bombarded with electronic media meets the hardware [and software] that encourages them to capture it” and creatively express themselves through appropriated media forms (251). The current state of copyright and fair use is bleak, but not beyond recovery. Two recent cases suggest a resurgence of the ideology underpinning the doctrine of fair use and the role played by copyright.Let’s Go CrazyIn “Let’s Go Crazy #1” on YouTube, Holden Lenz (then eighteen months old) is caught bopping to a barely recognizable recording of Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy” in his mother’s Pennsylvanian kitchen. The twenty-nine second long video was viewed a mere twenty-eight times by family and friends before Stephanie Lenz received an email from YouTube informing her of its compliance with a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) take-down notice issued by Universal, copyright owners of Prince’s recording (McDonald). Lenz has since filed a counterclaim against Universal and YouTube has reinstated the video. Ironically, the media exposure surrounding Lenz’s situation has led to the video being viewed 633,560 times at the time of writing. Comments associated with the video indicate a less than reverential opinion of Prince and Universal and support the fairness of using the song. On 8 Aug. 2008 a Californian District Court denied Universal’s motion to dismiss Lenz’s counterclaim. The question at the centre of the court judgment was whether copyright owners should consider “the fair use doctrine in formulating a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.” The court ultimately found in favour of Lenz and also reaffirmed the position of fair use in relation to copyright. Universal rested its argument on two key points. First, that copyright owners cannot be expected to consider fair use prior to issuing takedown notices because fair use is a defence, invoked after the act rather than a use authorized by the copyright owner or the law. Second, because the DMCA does not mention fair use, then there should be no requirement to consider it, or at the very least, it should not be considered until it is raised in legal defence.In rejecting both arguments the court accepted Lenz’s argument that fair use is an authorised use of copyrighted materials because the doctrine of fair use is embedded into the Copyright Act 1976. The court substantiated the point by emphasising the language of section 107. Although fair use is absent from the DMCA, the court reiterated that it is part of the Copyright Act and that “notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A” a fair use “is not an infringement of copyright” (s.107, Copyright Act 1976). Overzealous rights holders frequently abuse the DMCA as a means to quash all use of copyrighted materials without considering fair use. This decision reaffirms that fair use “should not be considered a bizarre, occasionally tolerated departure from the grand conception of the copyright design” but something that it is integral to the constitution of copyright law and essential in ensuring that copyright’s goals can be fulfilled (Leval 1100). Unlicensed musical sampling has never fared well in the courtroom. Three decades of rejection and admonishment by judges culminated in Bridgeport Music, Inc., et al v. Dimension Films et al 383 F. 3d 400 (6th Cir. 2004): “Get a license or do not sample. We do not see this stifling creativity in any significant way” was the ruling on an action brought against an unlicensed use of a three-note guitar sample under section 114, an audio piracy provision. The Bridgeport decision sounded a death knell for unlicensed sampling, ensuring that only artists with sufficient capital to pay the piper could legitimately be creative with the wealth of recorded music available. The cost of licensing samples can often outweigh the creative merit of the act itself as discussed by McLeod (86) and Beaujon (25). In August 2008 the Supreme Court of New York heard EMI v. Premise Media in which EMI sought an injunction against an unlicensed fifteen second excerpt of John Lennon’s “Imagine” featured in Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, a controversial documentary canvassing alleged chilling of intelligent design proponents in academic circles. (The family of John Lennon and EMI had previously failed to persuade a Manhattan federal court in a similar action.) The court upheld Premise Media’s arguments for fair use and rejected the Bridgeport approach on which EMI had rested its entire complaint. Justice Lowe criticised the Bridgeport court for its failure to examine the legislative intent of section 114 suggesting that courts should look to the black letter of the law rather than blindly accept propertarian arguments. This decision is of particular importance because it establishes that fair use applies to unlicensed use of sound recordings and re-establishes de minimis use.ConclusionThis paper was partly inspired by the final entry on eminent copyright scholar William Patry’s personal copyright law blog (1 Aug. 2008). A copyright lawyer for over 25 years, Patry articulated his belief that copyright law has swung too far away from its initial objectives and that balance could never be restored. The two cases presented in this paper demonstrate that fair use – and therefore balance – can be recovered in copyright. The federal Supreme Court and lower courts have stressed that copyright was intended to promote creativity and have upheld the fair doctrine, but in order for the balance to exist in copyright law, cases must come before the courts; copyright myth must be challenged. As McLeod states, “the real-world problems occur when institutions that actually have the resources to defend themselves against unwarranted or frivolous lawsuits choose to take the safe route, thus eroding fair use”(146-7). The present research,conducted in the spring of 2017-2019, focuses on anatomical and morphological features of two Altai species: Gagealutea and Gagea minima; these features were studied, clarified and confirmed by drawings and photographs. The anatomical structure of the stem and leaf blade was studied in detail. The obtained research results will prove useful for studies of medicinal raw materials and honey plants. A long-term stationary experiment was conducted to examine for the purpose nine field crop rotation patterns different in the number of fields (four to six), set of crops, and their succession in crop rotation. The respective shares of legumes, oilseeds, and cereals in the cropping pattern were 17 to 33, 17 to 40, and 50 to 67 %. It has been established that in case of no-till field crop cultivation the economic efficiency of plant production depends on the set of crops and their succession in rotation. The most economically efficient type of crop rotation is the soya-winter wheat-peas-winter wheat-sunflower-corn six-field rotation with two fields of legumes: in this rotation 1 ha of crop rotation area yields 3 850 grain units per ha at a grain unit prime cost of 5.46 roubles; the plant production output return and profitability were 20,888 roubles per ha and 113 %, respectively. The high production profitabilities provided by the soya-winter wheat-sunflower four-field and the soya-winter-wheat-sunflower-corn-winter wheat five-field crop rotation are 108.7 and 106.2 %, respectively. The inclusion of winter wheat in crop rotation for two years in a row reduces the second winter wheat crop yield by 80 to 100 %, which means a certain reduction in the grain unit harvesting rate to 3.48-3.57 thousands per ha of rotation area and cuts the production profitability down to 84.4-92.3 %. Sirotinskiy, DOI: https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00043 Abstract: This paper is concerned with solving one of the issues of the general problem of designing geophysical equipment for the natural climatic environment of the Arctic. The relevance of the topic has to do with an increased global interest in this region. The paper is aimed at considering the basic principles of developing and the procedure of testing seismic instruments for use at ultralow climatic temperatures. In this paper the indicated issue is considered through the example of a seismic module designed for petroleum and gas exploration by passive seismoacoustic methods. The seismic module is a direct-burial portable unit of around 5 kg in weight, designed to continuously measure and record microseismic triaxial orthogonal (ZNE) noise in a range from 0.1 to 45 Hz during several days in autonomous mode. The functional chart of designing the seismic module was considered, and concrete conclusions were made for choosing the necessary components to meet the ultralow-temperature operational requirements. The conclusions made served for developing appropriate seismic module. In this case, the components and tools used included a SAFT MP 176065 xc low-temperature lithium cell, industrial-spec electronic component parts, a Zhaofeng Geophysical ZF-4.5 Chinese primary electrodynamic seismic sensor, housing seal parts made of frost-resistant silicone materials, and finely dispersed silica gel used as water-retaining sorbent to avoid condensation in the housing. The paper also describes a procedure of low-temperature collation tests at the lab using a New Brunswick Scientific freezing plant. The test results proved the operability of the developed equipment at ultralow temperatures down to -55°C. In addition, tests were conducted at low microseismic noises in the actual Arctic environment. The possibility to detect signals in a range from 1 to 10 Hz at the level close to the NLNM limit (the Peterson model) has been confirmed, which allows monitoring and exploring petroleum and gas deposits by passive methods. As revealed by this study, the suggested approaches are efficient in developing high-precision mobile seismic instruments for use at ultralow climatic temperatures. The solution of the considered instrumentation and methodical issues is of great practical significance as a constituent of the generic problem of Arctic exploration. The article analyzes the results of treatment of patients with excess length of the second metatarsal bones that underwent osteotomy with and without osteosynthesis. The results of treatment of patients who underwent metatarsal shortening due to classical Weil-osteotomy with and without osteosynthesis were analyzed. The first group consisted of 34 patients. They underwent classical Weil osteotomy. The second group included 44 patients in whomosteotomy of the second metatarsal bone were not by the screw. When studying the results of the treatment in the immediate postoperative period, weeks 6, 12, slightly better results were observed in patients of the first group, while one year after surgical treatment the results in both groups were comparable. One year after surgical treatment, there were 2.9% (1 patient) of unsatisfactory results in the first group and 4.5% (2 patients) in the second group. Considering the comparability of the results of treatment in remote postoperative period, the choice of concrete method remains with the operating surgeon. Methods. A prospective 3-year study of 86 healthy dogs (aged 1-7 yrs) of different breeds and of both sexes. Echo homogeneity and echogenicity of the stomach and intestines wall were determined by the method of Silina, T.L., et al. (2010) in absolute values ​​of average brightness levels of ultrasound image pixels using the 8-bit scale with 256 shades of gray. Results. Quantitative echogenicity indicators of the stomach and the small intestine wall in dogs were determined. Based on the numerical values ​​characterizing echogenicity distribution in each layer of a separate structure of the digestive system, the coefficient of gastric echogenicity is determined as 1:2.4:1.1 (mucosa/submucosa/muscle layers, respectively), the coefficient of duodenum and jejunum echogenicity is determined as 1:3.5:2 and that of ileum is 1:1.8:1. Clinical significance. When studying the temporal organization of physiological functions, the rhythm parameters of physiological functions were determined, followed by processing the results using the Cosinor Analysis program, which reveals rhythms with an unknown period for unequal observations, evaluates 5 parameters of sinusoidal rhythms (mesor, amplitude, acrophase, period, reliability). The essence of desynchronization is the mismatch of circadian rhythms among themselves or destruction of the rhythms architectonics (instability of acrophases or their disappearance). Desynchronization with respect to the rhythmic structure of the body is of a disregulatory nature, most pronounced in pathological desynchronization. High neurotism, increased anxiety reinforces the tendency to internal desynchronization, which increases with stress. During examination stress, students experience a decrease in the stability of the temporary organization of the biosystem and the tension of adaptive mechanisms develops, which affects attention, mental performance and the quality of adaptation to the educational process. Time is shortened and the amplitude of the “initial minute” decreases, personal and situational anxiety develops, and the level of psychophysiological adaptation decreases. The results of the work are priority because they can be used in assessing quality and level of health. The difference between active and passive qualitative comparison is shown, two triadic models of passive and active comparison and models for comparing two and three objects are described. Abstract:
Introduction: The introduction aims to provide a background to the case company, what Open Innovation (OI) is and how the concept is used in producing companies that are large and SME, as well as a brief description of what a fixture can look like. Purpose and issues: The purpose and goal of this study is to develop a permanent fixture for milling machines that will cut different articles into different lengths to save time and money. Since the case company uses this study as an OI strategy, the purpose is also to investigate why producing companies use OI in the development of products and what risks it may entail.Based on the purpose of the study, two questions were formulated: RQ1: What are the main reasons that producing companies use OI in their product development process and what risks may occur using OI? RQ2: Can a generic product development process, if possible, be applied when developing a fixture for milling machines through OI? In such case, what steps are applicable in this study? Approach and method: A case study was performed at a company and data was collected through literature studies, observations, and semi- and unstructured interviews. The literature study was collected to link the collected theoretical data with the results and was taken from books and scientific articles. The product development process was performed by following the theoretical frame of reference. Results: The respondents use OI for external input to develop the technology and utilize external knowledge. The concept is used to make the innovation process progress. The respondents have experienced positive results from using OI, but it has also entailed certain risks. Students are often used as an OI strategy to carry out student thesis and projects at companies.A fixture was developed following a generic product development process and a 3D CAD model of the product solution was developed. The phases product planning, concept development, development at system level and detailed development were completed to develop a solution to the problem that the case company experienced. Conclusions: The conclusions that can be drawn in this study are that OI is recommended to be used in producing companies to continue to develop even though it may involve risks.A fixture was created based on the requirements and goal specifications that the case company had, with a solution to the problem that existed. The fixture that was developed can be manufactured economically and practically and can save the fall company time and money. Introduktion: Introduktionen syftar till att ge en bakgrund till fallföretaget, vad Open Innovation (OI) är och hur konceptet används i producerande företag som är stora och SME, samt en kort beskrivning av hur en fixtur kan se ut. Syfte och frågeställningar: Syftet och målet med denna studie är att utveckla en permanent fixtur till fräsmaskiner som ska skära olika artiklar i olika längder för att spara tid och pengar. Eftersom fallföretaget använder denna studie som en OI-strategi är syftet även att undersöka varför producerande företag använder OI vid utvecklingsarbeten och vilka risker det kan medföra. Utifrån studiens syfte formulerades två frågeställningar: FF1: Vilka är de främsta orsakerna till att producerande företag använder OI i deras produktutvecklingsprocess och vilka risker kan förekomma genom användning av OI? FF2: Kan en generisk produktutvecklingsprocess om möjligt tillämpas vid framtagning av en fixtur till fräsmaskinergenom OI? Vilka steg är i sådana fall tillämpbara i denna studie? Ansats och metod: En fallstudie utfördes på ett företag och data samlades in genom litteraturstudier, observationer, samt semi-och ostrukturerade intervjuer. Litteraturstudien samlades in för att kunna koppla den insamlade teoretiska data med resultatet, och hämtades från böcker och vetenskapliga artiklar. Produktutvecklingsprocessen utfördes genom att följa den teoretiska referensramen. Resultat: Respondenterna använder OI för extern input för att utveckla tekniken och utnyttja extern kunskap. Konceptet används för att få innovationsprocessen att fortskrida. Respondenterna har upplevt positiva resultat av att använda OI, men det har även medfört vissa risker. Studenter används ofta som en OI-strategi för att utföra studentarbeten och projekt hos företag. En fixtur utvecklades genom att följa en generisk produktutvecklingsprocess och en 3D CAD-modell av produktlösningen utvecklades. Faserna produktplanering, konceptutveckling, utveckling på systemnivå och detaljutveckling fullföljdes för att ta fram en lösning till problemet som fallföretaget upplevde. Slutsatser: Slutsatserna som kan dras i denna studie äratt OI rekommenderas att användas i producerandeföretag för att fortsätta utvecklas även fast det kan medföra risker. En fixtur skapades utifrån de krav-och målspecifikationerna som fallföretaget hade, med en lösning till problemet som fanns. Fixturen som utvecklades kan tillverkas ekonomiskt och praktiskt och kan bespara fallföretaget tid och pengar.

Ett framgångsrikt innovationsarbete möjliggör för framtagningen och utvecklingen av nya och befintliga digitala produkter och tjänster. Digital innovation driver ett behov av att agera och samarbeta med andra företag och organisationer, vilket innebär att involveringen av externa aktörer kan leda till att utmaningar uppstår. Genom vår litteraturstudie har vi identifierat utmaningar, och undersökt hur dessa kan hanteras genom en kvalitativ intervjustudie, syftet med studien blir därför att genom en litteraturstudie skapa förståelse för vilka utmaningar som finns, samt identifiera hur dessa utmaningar kan hanteras genom en intervjustudie. De primära deltagarna i studien är anställda på ett etablerat och ledande företag som arbetar med digital innovation. Vi kommer att studera hur dessa utmaningar kan hanteras utifrån följande frågeställning: Hur kan utmaningar med involveringen av externa aktörer i digital innovation hanteras? Studiens resultat bidrar med föreslagna angreppssätt för att hantera utmaningar med involveringen av externa aktörer.
Successful innovation work enables the development of new and existing digital products andservices. Digital innovation drives a need to act and collaborate with other companies andorganizations, which means that involving external actors can lead to challenges. Through ourliterature study, we have identified challenges and investigated how these can be handledthrough qualitative interview studies. The purpose of the study is to create an understanding ofthe challenges that exist through a literature study, and to identify suggestions on how thesechallenges can be handled through interview studies. The primary participants in the study areemployees of an established and leading digital innovation company. We will study how thesechallenges can be addressed based on the following question: How can challenges with theinvolvement of external actors in digital innovation be handled? The study's results contributewith proposed approaches to succeed in dealing with challenges in the involvement of externalactors.

Suggestions for areas of change are proposed in connection with the completion of the study. Research questions: -How does a consulting firm work with customers/users? -Are their work methods similar to what is described as successful in research on customer involvement? -Can work processes be improved? Method: The authors have used the qualitative method that has been developed as oral semi-structured interviews. The study is based much on hermeneutic form which means that one summarizes his own interpretations to get a deeper understanding. Conclusion: A conjunction and analysis of theoretical areas dealt with and empirical information led to the conclusion that there are indications that the company largely do not work according to established research the paper deals with. Today, companies' sustainability work is considered business-critical, and more demands are arising within the area. The requirements are based on environmental factors, where the declining biodiversity and scarce resources make it crucial for companies to find new solutions for both resource efficiency and products. Currently, customers and consumers are putting most pressure on companies, but policies, laws and instruments are also starting to tighten. One industry that is facing major changes and challenges is the food industry, where vegan alternatives are emerging that outcompete the traditional companies. The report examines how food companies in meat and dairy production meet society's sustainability challenges. It studies the companies' sustainability work, what strengths and weaknesses they have, and what their opportunities are considering a long-term survival. In the report, three different categories have been identified, with different attributes and driving forces, to provide guidelines for firms in their future sustainability work. The study shows that many of the traditional companies are not always aware about the vitality of working with a long-term perspective when it comes to sustainability; Thus, missing opportunities to strengthen their competitiveness as well as possible revenue streams and hence miss their chances for long-term survival. Due to the lack of a system perspective and open innovation, companies are working reactively towards the market instead of actively trying to influence it. By working proactively in line with research and daring to work more with open innovation and collaborations, companies instead have an opportunity to steer the market in a favourable direction for both society and for themselves. This way they can also increase the probability of capturing the opportunities that arise and taking advantage of the revenue-generating cascades that are made possible through various collaborations throughout the value chain and outside of it. However, this is based on the companies understanding their role also in systems outside their own value chain, how the environment is affecting them but also how the firms affect the environment themselves. Those firms who have begun to understand the importance of working long-term with sustainability, and thus created more incentives than just financial ones, do not risk prioritize short-term financial gain over their sustainability work. This is believed to benefit the company’s likelihood of dealing with sustainability challenges, since it makes them more self-sufficient, thus increasing their chance to survival long term on the upcoming market.
Idag är företagens hållbarhetsarbete affärskritiskt, och det växer fram allt fler krav och utmaningar från omvärlden som företagen behöver förhålla sig till. Kraven grundar sig ofta i miljömässiga faktorer, där bland annat den minskande biologiska mångfalden och sinande resurser gör det avgörande för företagen att hitta nya lösningar på såväl resurseffektivisering som nya anpassade produkter. I dagsläget är det kunder och konsumenter som hörs mest, men sakta börjar även policys, lagar och styrmedel stramas åt. En bransch som står inför stora förändringar och utmaningar är livsmedelsbranschen, där allt fler veganska alternativ växer fram och börjar utkonkurrerar de traditionella företagen. Genom denna rapport undersöks hur livsmedelsföretag inom kött- och mejeriproduktion egentligen står sig mot samhällets hållbarhetsutmaningar. Här undersöks företagens hållbarhetsarbete, vilka styrkor och svagheter som finns, och vilka möjligheter de har för sin långsiktiga överlevnad.  I rapporten har tre olika kategorier identifierats, med olika attribut och drivkrafter, för att kunna ge riktlinjer för företagen i deras framtida hållbarhetsarbete. Undersökningen visar att många av de traditionella företagen är omedvetna om hur vitalt det är för dem att arbeta långsiktigt med hållbarhet och få det att genomsyra företaget. Därmed missar företagen även sina möjligheter till stärkt konkurrenskraft och nya intäktsströmmar, vilket i slutändan innebär att de också missar sina chanser till långsiktig överlevnad. På grund av ett bristande systemperspektiv och öppen innovation, arbetar företagen även reaktivt mot marknaden istället för att själva aktivt försöka påverka den. Genom att arbeta proaktivt i linje med forskning, samt våga arbeta mer med öppen innovation och samarbeten, har företagen istället en möjlighet att på god grund styra marknaden i en gynnsam riktning för såväl samhället som för sig själva. Därigenom kan de också öka sannolikheten att lyckas fånga de möjligheter som uppstår och ta vara på de intäktsskapande kaskader som möjliggörs genom olika samarbeten över hela värdekedjan och utanför. Detta bygger dock på att företagen förstår sin roll även i system utanför sin egen värdekedja, hur omvärlden påverkar dem som företag samt hur de själva påverkar omvärlden. De företag som börjat förstå vikten av att arbeta långsiktigt med sitt hållbarhetsarbete, och därmed skapat fler incitament än endast ekonomiska, riskerar inte att bortprioritera hållbarhetsarbetet för kortsiktig ekonomisk vinning. Fler incitament gör även företagen mer självgående, vilket tros öka deras sannolikhet att hantera hållbarhetsutmaningarna och därmed överleva långsiktigt på den kommande marknaden.

Crowdsourcing och den kollaborativa ekonomin är modeller för öppen innovation som blir allt mer centrala i ett samhälle som står inför morgondagens utmaningar. För att ta itu med globala problem krävs det ett globalt samarbete och ett gemensamt ansvar, där delningsekonomin kan bli avgörande. I denna kvantitativa undersökning svarar vi på frågeställningen om hur upptagandet av och beslutsfattandet kring kollaborativa tjänsteinnovationer kan se ut när vi låter 50 studenter ta del av en kollaborativ tjänsteinnovation. Vi undersöker några befintliga kollaborativa tjänster, redogör för relevanta begrepp och visar på hur Diffusion of innovations kan användas för att förstå något så komplext som hur innovationer kan upptas och spridas i sociala system. Vidare visar vi hur ramverk för konceptualisering av crowdsourcing kan användas för att förstå hur miljöaspekten och viljan att samarbeta kan driva en stor grupp människor till att dela på kompetens, resurser och kunskap. Slutsatser och ett innovationsbidrag lyfts fram som kan hjälpa företag att förstå hur crowdsourcing kan användas och de villkor som spelar roll för individers upptagande.
Crowdsourcing and the sharing economy are essential models for open innovation when facing the challenges of tomorrow. Dealing with global problems require global cooperation and common responsibility, where the sharing economy may become crucial. In this quantitative study we examine how the adoption and decision-making process occurs when we let 50 students take part in a collaborative service innovation. We look at some already existing collaborative innovations, explain relevant concepts and show how Diffusion of innovations can be used to understand something as complex as adoption and diffusion of service innovations in social systems. Furthermore, we show how the framework for conceptualization of crowdsourcing can be used to understand how the environmental aspect and the willingness to cooperate can drive a crowd to share skills, resources and knowledge. Conclusions are presented and a contribution to help crowdsourcing ventures and collaborative networks is highlighted to understand individual adoption and the preconditions that affects their decision-making.

Abstract:
Konceptet open banking i EU är resultatet av införandet av det andra betaltjänstdirektivet och de kompletterande tekniska standarderna för sträng kundautentisering och säker kommunikation. Regelverket syftar till att upprätta en harmoniserad betaltjänstmarknad som balanseras mellan en hög nivå av säkerhet och en generös åtkomst till kunddata, för att främja innovation och konkurrens. I framställningen som görs i uppsatsen presenteras marknadens utveckling, de huvudsakliga aktörerna, den tidigare betaltjänstregleringen, samt motiven bakom och syftena med den nya regleringen. Genom att ge tredjepartsleverantörer direkt åtkomst till kontoinstitutens kontosystem förändras betaltjänstmarknaden i grunden. Det redogörs även för hur betaltjänstmarknaden har, och framöver sannolikt kommer att, förändras till följd av kravet på införandet av öppna API:er, men även hur konsekvenserna förhåller sig till de uttalade syftena. Regleringen har goda möjligheter att få ämnad effekt, men det faktum att ansvaret för harmoniseringen till stor del har överlämnats till marknadens aktörer är problematiskt. Det är i huvudsak två områden som är centrala; harmoniseringen av öppna API:er och förbudet mot datahämtningsmetoden screen scraping. I uppsatsen riktas kritik mot avsaknaden av lagstiftade gemensamma standarder för API:er och den förskjutning av ansvaret som har skett från lagstiftaren till marknadens aktörer. En brist som potentiellt skulle kunna leda till en fragmenterad betaltjänstmarknad. Det klargörs även att det traditionella användandet av screen scraping nu inte är tillåtet eftersom förfarandet inte uppfyller de krav som ställs på datainhämtning i RTS:en. Övergången till öppna API:er innebär en stor förändring för alla aktörer. Det återstår ännu en viss osäkerhet avseende harmoniseringen och implementeringen av öppna API:er, samt hur bestämmelserna och dess effekter förhåller sig till regelverkets syften. I uppsatsen presenteras en potentiell lösning på harmoniseringsproblematiken i form av de långt gångna och till stora delar anammade standardiseringsinitiativen som har utvecklats av marknaden. Det är framledes av största vikt att de marknadsdrivna initiativen för gemensamma standarder anammas av kontoinstituten för att åstadkomma en harmoniserad miljö med open banking.
