Abstract:
Participatory tourism development projects are considered effective and democratic since they engage people in interactive learning processes that change individuals and societies. In order to be transformative, a relational and social process must be acheived which challenges prior knowledge and beliefs. The purpose of this article is to explore engagement as a transformative feature of research and development practice. Three aspects of engagement are proposed through which higher learning loops and transformation can be enhanced: embodied and situated learning, relationship-building, and acknowledging and sharing power. These three aspects of engagement are explored through the case of developing an ecotourism site by Lake Victoria in Kenya.

Abstract:
The concepts of management and leadership are phenomena that have existed since the existence of humanity. Both of these concepts have undergone significant evolutions over the centuries in which humanity has developed. The concept of management, which is one of the important descriptors of the organizational field, has emerged in different ways in different environments. Different styles of management have led to the emergence of different leadership behaviors in organizational environments. One of the most important reasons for the formation of different leadership styles in different organizational environments is cultural values. In societies with different cultural value patterns, the experiences of socio-economic life also differ. Here, the unique aspects of social values shape many basic elements. The management and leadership styles of the society or the organizational structures within the social structure are one of these basic elements. As the management and leadership styles of the countries change, the management and leadership styles of the organizations also differ. One of the most important distinctions in this regard is made with the distinction between east-west culture in the literature. The eastern management culture and leadership styles differ from the western approaches. This difference is also reflected in the understanding of management and leadership in social phenomena. As a matter of fact, the ancient Turkish and Eastern philosophers, who described the times spent with wars and struggles on the subject, touched on important points. Philosophers have made references to the foundations of management philosophy and leadership with their predictions about management in many works from Kutadgu Bilig to the works of Hsun Tzu examining the art of war. Similarly, rooted victories in the Turkish administrative culture, in which the eastern management philosophy was used, were won in the wars and the struggle for independence. One of the most important of these victories is the 30August Victory. It is possible to say that in this victory, which represents an important turning point for the Turks to gain their independence, many successful management behaviors, which the eastern philosophers have made their subject, were also used. In this sense, in this study, it is tried to examine the importance of the 30 August Victory, which is an important representation of the struggle for existence of a country that takes Western values as an example, as well as the eastern-based administrative behaviors.

Abstract:
Social movement is an organized effort by a significant number of people to change (or resist change in) some major aspect or aspects of society. Sociologists have usually been concerned to study the origins of such movements, their sources of recruitment, organizational dynamics, and their impact upon society. Social movements must be distinguished from collective behavior. Social movements are purposeful and organized; collective behavior is random and chaotic. Social movements include those supporting civil rights, gay rights, trade unionism, environmentalism, and feminism. Collective behaviors include riots, fads and crazes, panics, cultic religions, rumors. This paper deals with formation of social movement, emergence of social movement, social problems and social change.Academic Voices Vol.5 2015: 1-4

Abstract:
Nonverbal behavior is a hot topic in the popular management press. However, management scholars have lagged behind in understanding this important form of communication. Although some theories discuss limited aspects of nonverbal behavior, there has yet to be a comprehensive review of nonverbal behavior geared toward organizational scholars. Furthermore, the extant literature is scattered across several areas of inquiry, making the field appear disjointed and challenging to access. The purpose of this paper is to review the literature on nonverbal behavior with an eye towards applying it to organizational phenomena. We begin by defining nonverbal behavior and its components. We review and discuss several areas in the organizational sciences that are ripe for further explorations of nonverbal behavior. Throughout the paper, we offer ideas for future research as well as information on methods to study nonverbal behavior in lab and field contexts. We hope our review will encourage organizational scholars to develop a deeper understanding of how nonverbal behavior influences the social world of organizations.

The role of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on university students’ academic success is recently a very popular topic in management literature. An individual’s pro-social behavior affects an organization’s productivity. But unfortunately institutions that give tourism education do not give enough importance to OCB. In this research, theoretical structure of OCB is analyzed and it is found out that there is an important relation between Akdeniz University, School of Tourism and Hotel Management’s students’ academic success and demographic aspects. Different advices are given to tourism education managers and the future researches on the basis of the results of the research.

Abstract:
Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of demographic, social, economic and international aspects on the market of university services in Russia. It also reminds readers briefly of the evolution of the Russian higher education system during the last 20 years and considers some consequences of the current public policy and reforms in this sector. Design/methodology/approach – The paper provides a qualitative analysis of the marketing environment of Russian universities. Findings – The results show that it is urgent for Russian universities to think and innovate about their marketing strategies to better position themselves in the educational market that has greatly changed throughout the transition period. International competition, demographic decrease, change in age structure and consumer behavior and preferences are those trends that create new challenges. Research limitations/implications – Public policy in higher education needs to be improved also to enable better equity across territory and different universities. Practical implications – After a drastic drop in the public funding during the 1990s (from 9.6 percent of GDP in 1986 to 3.5 percent in 1990), the higher education sector in Russia is still “struggling for survival.” In spite of the increase in funding in the year 2000, public support is distributed unequally across universities, 40 universities being distinguished among more than 1,100 other existing institutions. For those institutions that are not supported by the State, an efficient marketing strategy helps to keep the pace and continue to exist and offer educational programs. In order to ensure a wide access to higher education throughout the whole territory and to let some institutions to continue to work, it is urgent to rethink and reinforce marketing research in education. Originality/value – The paper is an original study of the market for higher education services in Russia.

Abstract:
In spite of the increase attention on the corporate social responsibility (CSR) which is considered to be a responsible social behavior of a firm towards its stakeholders and environment, the underlying explanation mechanism that could describe this relationship has not been exhaustively investigated, especially in the context of Iraq. Thus, this study developed a theoretical model of moderation and mediation to provide deeper insight on the impact of CSR on the work engagement and organizational behavior. This research is focused on employees in Iraq, with primary data acquired using a structured questionnaire answered by 524 respondents. The study was undertaken to highlight employees’ perception of the different aspects of CSR and their effect on job satisfaction, work engagement, and organizational citizenship behavior. Data analysis was carried out using structural equation modeling, a combination of multiple regression and factor analysis. The study findings explicitly demonstrate that the dimensions of Corporate Social Responsibility have a very strong positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Work Engagement. In addition, work engagement was found to have direct relationship with organizational citizenship behavior and job satisfaction, while job satisfaction has a direct relationship with organizational citizenship behavior, and mediating/moderating effect on the relationship work engagement and organizational citizenship behavior. Finally, the theoretical and practical implications of our findings were discussed in the study.

Abstract:
The concepts of self-regulation and autonomy are examined within an organizational framework. We begin by retracing the historical origins of the organizational viewpoint in early debates within the field of biology between vitalists and reductionists, from which the construct of self-regulation emerged. We then consider human autonomy as an evolved behavioral, developmental, and experiential phenomenon that operates at both neurobiological and psychological levels and requires very specific supports within higher order social organizations. We contrast autonomy or true self-regulation with controlling regulation (a nonautonomous form of intentional behavior) in phenomenological and functional terms, and we relate the forms of regulation to the developmental processes of intrinsic motivation and internalization. Subsequently, we describe how self-regulation versus control may be characterized by distinct neurobiological underpinnings, and we speculate about some of the adaptive advantages that may underlie the evolution of autonomy. Throughout, we argue that disturbances of autonomy, which have both biological and psychological etiologies, are central to many forms of psychopathology and social alienation.

Abstract:
Knowledge sharing process is an interactive communication activity between individuals, aimed at increasing each individual’s competence. An organization shares knowledge as an organizational learning medium so the organization can continue to grow and update information owned by individuals. This study discussed the knowledge sharing process in organizational learning at the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (PERPUSNAS). As the parent library institution in Indonesia, PERPUSNAS has a vital role in improving the quality of librarians, through organizational learning in the form of knowledge sharing activities. This research was conducted to determine the process of applying knowledge sharing, which included aspects of knowledge sharing behavior and the benefits of its application in organizational learning in PERPUSNAS Preservation and Conservation Sub-Division. This qualitative research used a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. Based on study results, the knowledge sharing process in organizational learning at PERPUSNAS consisted of four aspects, including aspects of subjective norms, attitudes, aspects of behavioral control, and social networking. Librarians in the subjective norm, always directly accepted new policies from superiors. Regarding attitude, librarians succeeded in bringing the organizational direction in a better and non-monotonous direction. Regarding the behavioral control aspect, PERPUSNAS maximized staff potentials by giving the freedom to work outside the sub-field. Also, social networking issues added to the librarian’s convenience when sharing knowledge through social media groups, such as WhatsApp. Knowledge sharing activities at PERPUSNAS become a means to improve individual competencies to become better human resources.

Abstract:
The ever-decreasing danger of coronavirus infection is forcing scientists from various fields of science to unite to assess not only the medical and epidemiological consequences of the development of this strange disease, but also social and socio-cultural changes in society. In this regard, it becomes necessary to summarize and understand the resource capabilities of various scientific areas to identify both general and specific aspects of the transformation of organizational culture in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. That is why the authors considered it relevant to analyze the emerging scientific approaches and methods for diagnosing the degree of influence of the pandemic on social processes. The most important manifestation of the cross-cultural aspects of transformation is their socio-psychological base, which reflects similar forms of behavior of individuals in situations of collective stress. The presented study reflects a multidisciplinary approach to intangible factors in the development of social processes under the pressure of global challenges associated with the development of an unknown disease — COVID-19. A special place is occupied by the case related to the change in the attitude of Russian society to culture and cinema in the context of a pandemic. The results of scientific research include identified trends in the impact of COVID-19 on social and economic processes in all countries affected by the pandemic. The authors identified the national characteristics of organizational cultures in a pandemic. The novelty of the study lies in the formalized concept of the cross-national aspects of the transformation of organizational culture in a pandemic. The conclusions and approaches of the authors can be used in the development of national programs to overcome the consequences of COVID-19, taking into account international experience in the economy, social sphere and culture.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and job performance. It also examines the mediating role of social capital in influencing the relationship between OCB and job performance. Design/methodology/approach The study explores the dynamic relationship among the variables of OCB and job performance and social capital. Data were collected from 501 respondents working in 15 healthcare organizations in Kolkata, India, through questionnaire survey. Likert-type rating scales of OCB, job performance and social capital with sound reliability and validity were used to carry out the survey. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. Findings The results of the present study show that OCB significantly predicts job performance in healthcare organizations. Social capital found to be a significant mediator between OCB and job performance. Research limitations/implications The findings of the study have a number of implications for organizations in acknowledging and leveraging social capital and encouraging OCB to facilitate superior performance of employees. The generalization of the findings of the study should be restricted to the healthcare organizations in Kolkata due to its own style of functioning, workforce and work environment. The role of demographic variables in influencing the outcome measures has not been considered for the present study. Further research on these aspects may reveal more interesting results with regard to the dynamics among organizational citizenship behavior, social capital and job performance. Practical implications Employee-friendly management practices should be adopted in organizations to facilitate the formation of network building and development of social capital which serves as an asset to organizations and creates competitive advantage. Originality/value The research findings enrich our understanding of voluntary social participation and citizenship behavior of employees for influencing performance at work. The study also provides useful and unique insight on the benefits of networking in healthcare organizations particularly helping employees to cope with emergency situations. The results of regression analysis revealed significant personal, professional and organizational predictors of procrastination in modern employees: outgoing (sociability), innovativeness, detail conscious and conscientious. Besides, work environment characteristics such as content and importance of job tasks are significant predictors of procrastination too. Personality and behavioral deteriorations (anxiety and depressive syndrome), adaptive collaborative process, social desirability make a contribution to regression model predictiveness.

Abstract:
The concern with outcomes and best practices is part of the daily life of managers and companies, including the concern with strategic planning. Within this context, this research aims to answer the following question: What is the organizational structure of the mission statements of the companies classified as "Biggest and Best" in Brazil? For this we analyze the organizational mission of the 500 best companies classified by ranking "Best and Biggest of 2012" by Abril publisher. It was observed that the main aspects are: "Identification of self-concept and core values, philosophy, technology and core competencies and organizational behavior"; "products and services" and "sustainable issues" (social and environmental). "Although it is not possible to say that the presence or absence of the aspects in their missions are responsible for the performance of companies, we can say that these aspects are present in the organizational mission of the 500 Best and Biggest of 2012.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the social aspects of Hinduism as a combination of not only religious, but also mythological, legal and ethical concepts. They form, on the basis on which the social life of Indian society is largely organized. The author’s analysis of the historical development of Hinduism shows that, despite the absence of a rigid organizational structure, it has an internal unity at the social, ideological and religious levels. Hinduism is united in a whole by sacred texts and the Pantheon of Gods, recognized by almost all its trends and schools, as well as the faith in karma — the causal relationship between the actions of an individual in past incarnations and his fate, character, position in society in the current incarnation, and reincarnation. The cornerstone of both the faith and the social component of the Hindu doctrine is the concept of classes and castes, which denote separate groups whose members have a common professional occupation, do not marry other groups, and do not even share meals with them. The article considers the hierarchy of classes that originated in India in the Vedic period, as well as the principles, primarily professional and regional, of the formation of modern castes. The author analyzes a set of religious prescriptions and cult practices that regulate the daily life of Hindus, the ritual side of Hinduism associated with the most significant events in human life. Special attention is paid to new practices of “redemptive rites”, including asceticism, fasting, various methods of mortification of the flesh, and redemptive gifts. It is noted that the essence of Hinduism is not limited to its religious and ideological content. An organic integral part of it is a number of social institutions, legal and moral norms, social institutions and cultural phenomena. In this regard, Hinduism is not only and not so much a religion, but a way of life and holistic behavior, which can also have its own spiritual practice.

Abstract:
Organizational scholars concur that job security can attach employees to a workplace and improve their job quality. The relationship between job security and employees’ deviant behaviors in the workplace, such as counterproductive work behavior (CWB), lacks insights into how or why this occurs, especially in a diversified employment context. To address these limitations, we developed a theoretical model of job security impact on employees’ CWB from the perspective of social identity. Analysis of employees (N = 208) and their supervisors in a China state-owned company were used to test the hypothesis. Results confirmed the negative relationship between job security and CWB; organizational identification partly mediates the relationship between job security and CWB. Moderated mediation analyses further indicate that the indirect effect of job security on CWB via organizational identification are stronger for temporary employees than for permanent employees. This article contributes to the understanding of job security’s impact on employees’ deviant behavior, practical implications and research aspects are discussed.

Abstract:
Morelli, Potosky, Arthur, and Tippins (2017) are correct in calling for more conceptual models explicitly linking technology to industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology. As these authors note, in the absence of models and theories of technology to guide the research and practice of I-O psychology, the field runs the risk of chasing the impacts of specific technological innovations and devices rather than guiding organizations on best practices regarding the use of technology. Building theories and models that directly involve technology and placing them within individual psychological and larger organizational processes provides researchers with a way to stay ahead of the fast pace of technological innovation and anticipate its effects on measurement and prediction. Moreover, there are aspects to the use of technology that I-O psychologists are uniquely qualified to consider, including legal considerations (e.g., accessibility concerns), ethical questions (e.g., access in disadvantaged communities), practical concerns (e.g., user and target reactions), and measurement issues (e.g., construct irrelevant variance). In this commentary, we present two main points of consideration that demonstrate how I-O psychologists might use and create technology to improve assessment. First, we argue that technology can improve the measurement of psychological variables if we critically consider how technology can positively influence various parts of response behavior. Additionally, we encourage future research to consider the effects of technology in I-O psychology more comprehensively by extending the emphasis on psychological processes beyond cognition and behavior to include affect and motivation.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of scientific approaches to studying civic identity as a form of social identity. It has been found that the following aspects are essential in the context of the study of civic identity: understanding it as a phenomenon, which has dynamical and structural nature, is closely related to the continuous processes of personality development and self-determination, induces the inclusion of an individual, the sense of inner unity with others and the importance of individual's existence in society, as well as evokes the identity seeking state (psychoanalytic approach); combination of individualizing and social aspects, the formation of identity in the process of socialization and social interaction through the internalization of roles, social norms, values, typical patterns of behavior (symbolic interactionism); understanding the self-categorization as an essential process in the identity formation, the existence of levels of self-categorization (which are considered as levels of identity at the same time), interpretation of identity as an internal regulator of individual's behavior (cognitive psychology); an ability for political, intellectual, spiritual and other elites to construct identity by influencing society by means of ideology (constructionism). It was reasoned, that the organizational-game approach is the most promising in the context of studying civic identity, as, on the one hand, it to some extent allows to synthesize the basic ideas of the above-mentioned scientific approaches, and, on the other hand, extends them with novel provisions (such as transaction/script analysis and organizational identity concepts), taking into account the essential characteristics of the civic identity of the individual. According to the organizational-game approach, civic identity is considered as a kind of organizational identity (a specific form of social identity), which is selfdetermination in the organizational environment of the state, as well as self-identification with the role of a citizen in the context of game and script interactions with state institutions and fellow citizens, and is additionally the primary psychological regulator of civic behavior.

Abstract:
Intra-organizational comparisons—managers and units benchmarking their performance against each other—can turn colleagues into competitors. To better understand when organizations should allow or even encourage internal social comparisons, we study their implications for organizational adaptation and performance. We conceptualize internal social comparisons as an upstream competitive process that shapes performance aspirations and creates interdependencies in search behavior. We distinguish this from downstream, product market competition or complementarities where performance is interdependent across units. Integrating both aspects into a computational model, we show how internal social comparisons affect adaptation and performance through two mechanisms: a balancing effect whereby the organization is guaranteed to contain both exploring and exploiting units, and a stabilizing effect whereby internal social comparisons protect against abandoning existing technologies too early. The benefits of upstream comparisons are accentuated when units are downstream complements, helping synchronize search. When units are downstream competitors, these benefits disappear, suggesting substitutive effects. We highlight empirical implications and discuss theoretical links to work on intra-organizational competition, social comparisons and aspiration-driven search, diversification and performance, and the adaptation of multi-business firms.

Organizational culture which has emerged as a sub-field of organizational behavior is observed to be decisive on many aspects of behavior such as employees’ motivation, performance, burnout, commitment and socialization. All this shows that organizational culture and related organizational outcomes are multidimensional and multivariate. The research also points to the importance of organizational culture for school organizations that play an important role in the reproduction of social relations. However, it is thought that there is a need to make ethnographic and qualitative studies pointing out how social relationships are produced within the school culture in contrast to the studies which fail to go beyond the the mainstream studies. Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine an integrative model combining teachers’ perceptions of transformational leadership practices (TLPs) and different subsystems of the social ecological model (SEM) within the context of country culture (US vs Israel). Design/methodology/approach A quantitative study was conducted among 615 Israeli teachers and 541 US teachers. The leadership practices inventory (LPI) questionnaire was used, and analyses focused on the interaction effects of ecological subsystems and country on teachers’ perceptions of TLP. Findings Results indicated that some universal leadership aspects appear in both the USA and Israel, with modeling the way being most dominant and Challenging the Process least dominant. However, the findings also indicated some specific national leadership aspects. For example, Israeli teachers perceive their school principals’ TLP to be significantly higher than do US teachers in all five dimensions. In addition, the study indicated significant differences between Israel and the USA regarding aspects of TLP, after taking school level into account. The results are explained by Hofstede’s culture dimensions. Originality/value This study focuses on teachers’ perceptions of TLP in relation to SEM, which has been largely ignored in educational leadership studies. The findings may help to develop an integrative policy related to both TLP and SEM, which will enhance the impact that school leadership may have in both countries, taking the cultural context into consideration.

The Anti-Cancer Council of Victoria has been running sun protection programs for more than 20 years: Slip! Slop! Slap! from 1980 to 1988 and SunSmart from 1988 to the present. The Victorian Health Promotion Foundation has provided funding for the SunSmart program for the past 13 years. These programs have played an important role in changing the whole society’s approach to the sun and have resulted in marked reductions in sun exposure. This article describes the social, political, economic, and organizational context within which these programs developed. Then 10 areas are discussed that illustrate a critical aspect of the development and implementation of this successful systemwide health promotion program. These areas focus on key aspects of the context within which the program operates and on issues that derive from the experience of implementing program strategies. In summary, the success of the two programs is described as having been built on two key foundations: the vital integration of research and evaluation, on one hand, and a strong basis of consistency and continuity, on the other.

This article considers the transformation of the world of work and its interrelationship with changes in the social regulation of work and social security. The implications of the contradiction between a greater emphasis on autonomy and skills at work and the exclusionary effects of greater selectivity in recruitment are discussed. It is argued that we are witnessing a move to a ‘third age’ of work and social protection, in which qualitative and participatory aspects come to the fore, alongside aspects of the ‘social question’ more typical of earlier ‘ages’ — alleviating poverty and reducing unemployment. In conclusion the article considers the role of the European Union in addressing the resulting challenges.

Abstract:
The article defines the means of social regulation, which include legal, moral, corporate, social customs, etc. At the same time, the norm is not the only means of influencing human behavior, as such means also embrace individual instructions, authoritarian orders, measures of physical, mental, organizational coercion and so on. Therefore, the legal regulation of social relations is defined by the author as a purposeful action on human behavior and public relations with the help of legal (juridical) means. At the same time, the legislator faces the difficult task of maintaining a balance between legal regulation and social self-regulation. Before subjecting a public relation to normative regulation, it is necessary to substantiate the necessity and expediency of such a step, since the efficiency of legal regulation is determined by the compliance of the final result of legal regulation with the goals set by the legislator in the relevant legal norm. Therefore, the aim of the article is to determine the level of potency of legal norms that correspond to the objective conditions and laws of development of the society in which they operate. At the same time, their content must correspond to the social consciousness of the population, first of all to the principles of morality and the level of legal awareness, as well as to agree with the norms of its other branches. Since the subject of legal regulation is social relations, the legal regulation is conditioned by certain objective and subjective factors. The author identifies the following factors: the level of economic development of the society; the social structure of the society; the level of maturity and stability of social relations; the level of legal culture of citizens; the level of determinancy of the subject, means and methods of legal regulation. In a modern democratic state, the nature and types of these means are determined by a set of factors, among which the article highlights the patterns of development and fundamentals of the law system, as well as the level of the declared and actually valid rights and freedoms of man and citizen, enshrined both in acts of national law and in international legal acts ratified by the legislative body of this state.

Abstract:
Purpose This paper aims to evaluate whether training of managers at workplaces can improve organizational learning. Managers play a crucial role in providing opportunities to employees for learning. Although scholars have called for intervention research on the effects of leadership development on organizational learning, no such research is currently available. Design/methodology/approach The training program consisted of theoretical and practical elements aimed to improve line managers’ transformational leadership behaviors and, in turn, improve organizational learning. The study used a pre- and post-intervention evaluation survey. Line managers’ and their subordinates’ perceptions of organizational learning were measured with the Dimensions of Organizational Learning Questionnaire and with post-intervention single items on organizational learning. Findings Comparisons between pre- and post-intervention assessments revealed that managers’ ratings of continuous learning and employees’ ratings of empowerment and embedded systems improved significantly as a result of the training. The leadership training intervention had positive effects on managers’ perceptions of individual-level and on employees’ perceptions of organizational-level aspects of organizational learning. Originality/value The study provides empirical evidence that organizational learning can be improved through leadership training. Both line managers and their subordinates perceived that organizational learning had increased after the training intervention, albeit in different ways. Implications for developing leadership training programs and for evaluating these are discussed.

Abstract:
Purpose School principals should see themselves as social justice leaders, who have the ability to allow all students to succeed, regardless of their characteristics and backgrounds. At the same time, school principals are also called upon to demonstrate instructional leadership, which emphasizes the teaching and learning aspects of school principalship. The purpose of this paper is to examine the relations between these two roles of today’s school principals. Design/methodology/approach To investigate the relations between social justice leadership and instructional leadership, this paper adds the question of the goal of schooling to the mix. After identifying possible goals of schooling, the paper conceptualizes social justice leadership and instructional leadership, respectively, while also examining their relations with schools’ major goals. Possible commonalities and contradictions between social justice leadership and instructional leadership are discussed. Findings The prevalent expectation that school leaders should give top priority to ongoing improvement of teaching quality and academic outcomes may be seen as reducing school leaders’ involvement in some aspects of social justice leadership, such as nurturing students’ active citizenship. Research limitations/implications This paper opens new research avenues. Based on the findings of this paper, the connection between principals’ perceptions regarding the goals of schooling and their leadership behaviors should be explored. Practical implications It seems advisable to discuss the interplay between social justice leadership and instructional leadership with prospective and current principals, as well as with other school stakeholders. Originality/value Insofar as the relations between social justice leadership and instructional leadership have not been explored so far, this paper narrows a gap in the available knowledge.

Abstract:
Purpose – The purposes of this paper are to take a closer look at the relevance of the idea of the learning organization for organizations in different generalized organizational contexts; to open up for the existence of multiple, context-adapted models of the learning organization; and to suggest a number of such models. Design/methodology/approach – The suggested context-adapted models are deduced from works arguing that not all aspects of the idea of the learning organization should be adopted by organizations in some certain generalized organizational contexts. Findings – The idea of the learning organization needs to be reformulated, to some extent, to become fully relevant for public organizations, safety organizations, human service organizations and knowledge-intensive organizations. Research limitations/implications – To achieve a more inclusive contingency model than presented in this article, there is a need for further research examining the (full) relevance of the original learning organizational model for organizations in various certain generalized organizational contexts. Practical implications – Organizational actors could use one of the suggested context-adapted models fitting their particular organizational context as a starting point when considering adopting the learning organization. Social implications – Several adaptations suggested originate in social concerns. Originality/value – In contrast to most previous works on the learning organization, this paper adds to the existing literature by proposing several context-adapted models of the learning organization.

Abstract:
Drawing on social identity theory, the authors demonstrated how and when responsible leadership might relate to employee’s organizational citizenship behavior for the environment (OCBE). Using data collected from 302 subordinates from one service chain hotel in China across 2 phases, this study discussed the influence mechanism of responsible leadership on OCBE, as well as the roles of leader identification and the perceived role of ethics and social responsibility (PRESOR). Empirical results revealed that responsible leadership was positively related to OCBE, and that leader identification played a mediating role between responsible leadership and OCBE. The relationship between leader identification and OCBE was positively moderated by PRESOR, which also moderated the indirect effect of responsible leadership on OCBE through leader identification, such that this relationship was stronger when PRESOR was high. Finally, we outlined the theoretical and practical implications and proposed some promising aspects and value variables for future research.

For this reason, this research will examine the Green HRM model in improving Service Quality with OCBE and Organizational Commitment as mediation in the Hospital of State-Owned Enterprises. This study answers the research gap of Green HRM research at the organizational level with more specific outcomes. This research also focused on Green HRM in hospital organizations to see its influence on service quality through OCBE and OC, which were rarely examined before. The application of the concept of Healthcare Service Quality (HEALTHQUAL) in the SQ Variable is also to support or deny the conceptual framework for which there is no empirical study when done in hospitals in Indonesia. Through the hypothesis of the research conducted can be in the form of a FrameWork concept as a basis for further research.</p>
