Abstract Schedule of courses has been one of the most important part in a university’s teaching and learning activity. The large number of courses and lecturers that are involved, make some clashes on course’s schedule or class room’s schedule could happens frequently, so it requires an application to simplify the process of developing the course schedule. Steepest ascent hill climbing algorithm is an algorithm that generates all possible solutions, and then checks every solution to obtain optimum solution. The result of this research is this course scheduling system can facilitate courses schedulling, in addition steepest ascent hill climbing algorithm is able to obtain optimum scheduling courses solutions. Banyaknya jumlah mata kuliah dan dosen yang terlibat, mengakibatkan sering terjadinya bentrokan jadwal mata kuliah atau pun dalam pemakaian ruang perkuliahan, sehingga diperlukan sebuah aplikasi guna mempermudah proses penyusunan jadwal mata kuliah tersebut. Algoritma steepest ascent hill climbing adalah algoritma yang mengumpulkan seluruh solusi yang mungkin, dan men gecek setiap solusi untuk memperoleh solusi yang optimal. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi yang dibangun dapat digunakan untuk memudahkan penjadwalan mata kuliah selain itu algoritma steepest ascent hill climbing mampu memperoleh solusi penjadwalan mata kuliah yang optimal. Fulfillment of all demands of consumers who come to the product is one thing that always wanted to be achieved by a company. These requests are not independent of the company's ability to manufacture certain products. CV Cherry Sarana Agro manufactures a wide range of agricultural equipment, one of which is the product hydrotiller and hammermil. Demand for both products are always in large numbers for each period, however, the company could not meet the entire demand. One of the main factors that led this small company's production capacity for these two products is not optimal scheduling of machines made by companies, causing many to be a queue on a particular machine so that the total process operating time becomes very large. Scheduling method is used to optimize the scheduling of machines working on the report of this practice is actively scheduling method and the method of non-delay scheduling. The data needed to perform scheduling with both of these methods is the data used machines, data processing operations and data processing time of operation. With these three data, can be compared to the actual scheduling done by the company with the scheduling is done using active scheduling method and the method of non-delay scheduling. The most optimal scheduling is obtained after comparing the three methods used are scheduling using the non-delay scheduling. This method was chosen because the resulting make span is much smaller than the two other methods. Navy as a marine core in the defense force is responsible for providing security for realizing stability and security of the country. At any time there was an invasion of other countries past through sea, TNI AL must be able to break the enemy resistance line through a sea operation to obtain the sea superiority. But this time the endurance of Striking force Unit at only 7-10 days and required replenishment at sea to maximize the presence in the theater of operations to meet a demand of the logistics: HSD, Freshwater, Lubricating Oil, foodstuffs and amonisi. For the optimal replenishment at sea required scheduling model supporting unit to get the minimum time striking force unit was on node rendezvous. Replenishment at sea scheduling model for striking force unit refers to the problems Vehicle routing problem with time windows using Genetic Algorithms. These wheelbase used is roulette for reproduction, crossover, and mutation of genes. Genetic algorithms have obtained optimum results in the shortest route provisioning scenario uses one supporting unit with a total time of 6.89 days. In scenario two supporting unit with minimal time is 4.97 days. In the scenario, the changing of the node replenishment Genetic Algorithm also get optimal time is 4.97 days with two supporting units. Research continued by changing the parameters of the population, the probability of crossover and mutation that can affect the performance of the genetic algorithm to obtain the solution. Abstract:
Well maintenance (well service and workover) is an operation needed by oil company to guarantee the optimum productionof its oil well.Well maintenance is performed using large equipment called hydraulic workover unit (HWU-Rig) which is available in limited number. Scheduling sequence of the HWU-Rig to do well service must meet the goal of the maintenance that is to minimize the loss of oil well production due to well breakdown. Thus minimizing breakdown time of well with high rate production is a priority. However, scheduling secuence of the HWU-Rig to perform its task for few days ahead become complicated due to the numerous alternatives of secuence to choose. Each alternatives of sequence yields a certain production loss. Arbitrarily scheduling sequence may not yield the goal og minimizing the loss of well production. This research was done by analyzing workover scheduling system and data from Kondur Petroleum such as well location, well production rate, and service time needed to be performed on wells. Algorithm to create schedulling sequence was developed in the research. The algorithm was then implemented in discrete simulation software, and yield the result of absolute global optimal solution, near optimal solution and local optimal solution of the HWU scheduling problem.

Abstract:
Waste is still a problem that still has to be studied and understood in its management so that it does not accumulate and lead to fatal conditions in the environmental ecosystem. Therefore, this study was made with the aim of finding the factors causing the accumulation of iron plate waste at PT. Maxima Daya Indonesia to create a waste management strategy by maximizing the sale of waste inventory in the waste collection warehouse. This research is a descriptive study using dynamic systems research methods and looking for scheduling by calculating the ROP, then found 3 strategies to be compared to choose the one that is more optimal and efficient. The results of this research are 1. The problem of this research lies in the time of the initial waste sale, 36 working days which exceeds the volume limit of the waste container (1000 kg). 2. Scheduling strategy by finding the resulting ROP there are three, namely ROP 774,667 kg, ROP 1394 kg, ROP 968,317 kg. Of the three, the right waste sales proposal is ROP 774,667 with a sales period of 20 days / 12 times a year, and the ROP is still below the capacity limit of the waste bin. ABSTRAKKepuasan pasien selama dirawat di suatu rumah sakit masih dalam kategori rendah. Rendahnya kepuasan pasien tersebut dipengaruhi beberapa faktor yang salah satunya adalah penjadwalan dinas perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penjadwalan dinas perawat dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien di ruang rawat inap RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Responden penelitian berjumlah 92 orang. Waktu penelitian bulan Desember 2017 dan alat ukur yang digunakan berupa kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gambaran penjadwalan dinas perawat rata-rata sebesar 37,29 mengarah ke rentang tinggi dan gambaran tingkat kepuasan pasien rata-rata sebesar 64,73 mengarah ke rentang rendah. Hasil analisis didapatkan adanya hubungan yang positif antara penjadwalan dinas perawat yang dipersepsikan pasien dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien di ruang rawat inap RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. (P Value= 0,000). Saran penelitian ini diharapkan untuk kepala ruangan dan perawat agar bekerjasama dalam menentukan penjadwalan dinas yang baik dengan arahan manajer demi terciptanya pelayanan yang optimal untuk kepuasan pasien.Kata-kata kunci: Penjadwalan dinas perawat, Perawat, Tingkat kepuasan pasien, ABSTRACTPatient satisfaction during hospitalization is still in low category. The low patient satisfaction is influenced by several factors, one of which is the scheduling of nurse service. This study was made to know the correlation between scheduling of nurse service and patient satisfication level at RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin hospital. This research used correlation design with cross sectional approach and accidental sampling technique. Research respondents amounted to 92 people. December 2017 research period and measuring instruments used in the form of questionnaires. The result of the analysis shows that there is a positive relationship between scheduling of nurses service that is perceived by patient with patient satisfaction level in ward of RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. (P Value = 0,000 <0.05). Abstract:
Power system is a wide interconnected network of electricity generation, transmission, and distribution systems. With the technical advancement, increase in day to-day demand from industrial, agricultural and residential consumers, and the disadvantages of monopoly system demanded the power sector for disintegration and deregulation. Power system deregulation and integrating communication devices are advantageous for better monitoring and decision making by the system operator. At the same time, it increases the risk of cyber intrusion. In 2003, the eastern United States and Canada had major power system blackout due to the failure of grid. Despite of the fact that the blackout was caused by factors that are other than cyber-attack, many academics believed that similar catastrophe may occur with targeted cyber intrusion. In 2007, Idaho National Lab researchers attempted to attack a synchronous generator. The attempt was successful, and the generator got self-destructed within minutes. This incident alarmed cyber-security decision-makers, prompting them to establish a critical infrastructure that is vulnerable to prevent cyber-attack. The existing bad data detection procedure in state estimation is incapable of detecting a certain sort of cyber-intrusion known as a stealth attack. Stealth attacks can be used to influence state estimate results for financial gain or to cause technical problems for the power system. Unbundling of transmission lines, ensuring social welfare among the power system utilities, promote investment in the electricity sector. The deregulated power system has brought up power market as an efficient tool and has created an enabling environment to accelerate the all-around development of power generation, transmission and distribution systems. The effective monitoring and decision making is achieved with the integration of communication lines and internet network. Cyber-Physical System technology is utilized for more safer and secure grid operations. In this dissertation, financially motivated false data attacks are investigated, by injecting manipulated data into day-ahead and real-time electricity markets operation. For determining the optimal attack vector, it is assumed that the attacker runs a bi-level optimization problem that comprises the attacker's profit maximisation objective and the market clearing problem. While manipulating measurement devices such as RTUs, the attacker needs to take care of being identified by the ISO’s bad data detection (BDD) mechanism. The proposed attacking model is implemented on the PJM-5 bus test system to demonstrates the potential impact of financially motivated cyber intrusions in the x power markets. During the attack, the relationship between market clearing power and LMPs is established. The simulation results are deduced to demonstrate the effect on locational Marginal pricing in achieving the attacker's goal of profit maximization. Secondly, Renewable energy generation has become more prominent in the power sector around the world. Large integration of RE sources into the electricity markets has brought further complexities in the markets. Distributed energy sources (DE) have limited participation in these markets. Considering uncertainties related to RE intermittence nature, and market prices small-scale REs such as wind power, solar PV power, ESSs, and utilities comprising CHPs, DG sets, flexible demands, etc., are aggregated in to single entity in the name of (VPP) and participate in the electricity markets. Hence, it is important to find out an optimal scheduling solution to these VPPs. In this dissertation two-stage stochastic programming approach for optimal scheduling of VPP in the electricity market is presented. The uncertainties are modelled using scenario bounds and are formulated using stochastic programming approach. Simulation results are carried out on 4-hour planning horizon. Since, electricity markets are competitive in nature, each and every market participant tries to maximize their profits through strategic bidding. Keeping in the view, the uncertainties related to RE generation, market prices and reserve deployment requests, VPP also tries to maximize its profit. It is necessary to take strategic decision to counter the other market participants. Therefore, a bi-level model is proposed for finding out optimal scheduling solution in the electricity markets. Uncertainties are modelled using scenario realization technique. VPP maximize its profit by making strategic decision on trading power in the DA and reserve markets. To exercise the power of VPP in altering market decision, the upper-level problem in the bi-level model address the VPP objective to maximize the profits, while lower level addresses the market clearing problem of both DA and reserve markets. The proposed model is then reformulated in to single level MILP problem using KKT optimality conditions and strong duality theorem. Finally, the proposed model is implemented on IEEE-24 reliability test bus system. The results are analysed based on the profit acquired by the VPP with and without flexible demands. The importance of the reserve market in balancing the system is demonstrated through appropriate scenarios, additionally, demand-side flexibility xi smoothens the load curve and connects the generating and demand side curves, allowing the VPPs to achieve the best profit. At the end, impact of strategic and non-strategic decision making on VPP’s profit is also analysed.
