Abstract:
This paper introduces the segmentation of Neisseria bacterial meningitis images. Images segmentation is an operation of identifying the homogeneous location in a digital image. The basic idea behind segmentation called thresholding, which be classified as single thresholding and multiple thresholding. To perform images segmentation, transformations and morphological operations processes are used to segment the images, as well as image transformation an edge detecting, filling operation, design structure element, and arithmetic operations technique is used to implement images segmentation. The images segmentation represent significant step in extracting images features and diagnoses the disease by computer software applications.

Abstract:
The intermediate class of steels, which at room temperature belong to the ferritic state, and at operating temperature pass into the austenitic region, are called steels with control of austenitic transformation during operation. The possibility of increasing the service life of such intermediate steels at high temperatures (above the critical point A3) is shown. For the first time, the cast structure and phase-structural state of steel (grade 4Kh3N5М3F) obtained by electroslag remelting were studied. An improved composition of steel (4Kh4N5М3F) for the production of stamping tools for hot pressing of copper, copper and aluminum alloys is proposed. When setting the critical points (A1 and A3) of the investigated steel, which was confirmed by the results of high-temperature X-ray phase analysis, it was possible to optimize the heat treatment (annealing) of steel 4Kh3N5M3F and 4Kh4N5M4F2 in cast and forged condition, which facilitated processing tool. The results of researches on optimization of modes of heat treatment (hardening, tempering) of steel are given. The mechanical properties (strength, toughness, heat resistance) of steel in cast and forged state depending on the tempering and tempering temperature are determined. The tempering brittleness of the experimental steel is determined. An experimental-industrial test of a stamping tool (die dies, extruder parts) made of the investigated steel was carried out. The possibility of using stamped steel with adjustable austenitic transformation for a wide range of operating temperatures of hot deformation of aluminum alloy AK7h (450-500 ºC), copper M1 (600-630 ºC) and copper-nickel alloy MNZh 5-1 (900-950 ºC) with increased service life in comparison with steels of ferrite class 4Kh5МF1S and 3Kh3М3F. Abstract: Using the example of oil road bitumen grades BND 100/130, BND 130/200 and BND 70/100, this article studies the transformation of oil dispersed systems under various logistic schemes of operation. This research focuses on the influence of the conditions for storing road bitumens of different grades on their physical and mechanical properties and group hydrocarbon composition during transportation from the manufacturer to the consumer. The results show that a change in the physical and mechanical properties of road bitumens during high-temperature storage is related to the changes in the group hydrocarbon composition due to the hydrocarbons autooxidation and destabilization of the colloidal structure of dispersal systems. The conditions for storing bitumen with a minimum change in its quality indicators have been determined. It has been established that storage of bitumen under atmospheric conditions allows preserving its original properties without significant changes. There is evidence that nitrogen purging significantly reduces the effect of homolytic processes leading to the transformation of oil dispersed systems during further transportation from the manufacturer to the consumer. Experimental data confirm that of all basic physical and mechanical properties of bitumen, “the depth of penetration of needle” is the most sensitive index, while the “softening temperature” index, frequently used for quality control of bitumen, is inertial. Determining the change in penetration, depending on the duration of storing bitumen, has required formulating a special equation. It has been established that when storing road bitumen at a temperature of 180 ºС, for each hour the index of the penetration depth of the needle at 25 º decreases by 0.8 units. Organizational and technical measures have been determined to ensure the stability of the road bitumen quality during manufacture, storage and transportation to consumers.

Abstract:
In this paper, we propose a scheme to implement hybrid encryption of images using generalized Arnold transformation and matrix nonlinear operations. This scheme consists of two stages. In the first stage, the pixels scrambling encryption is achieved by using generalized Arnold transformation. In the second stage, the pixels sequence encryption is carried out by a nonlinear matrix operation based on the key stream generated by a random matrix. Accordingly, the decryption process is completed by two steps inverse transformations. The hybrid encryption algorithm is one-time pad, and therefore has good anti-attack performance. The algorithm is featured by good confidentiality, low computational complexity, and easy-to-program processing. Moreover, the effectiveness, security and robustness of the algorithm are demonstrated by an image encryption simulation and the encryption performance analysis. Compared with the traditional Arnold scrambling encryption scheme and the chaotic encryption method based on the generalized standard mapping, the superiority of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated.

Abstract:
Geometric transform (G.T.) of images is a critical operation in commercial television, film producing and advertisement design. All geometric transformation operations are performed by moving pixel values from their original spatial coordinates to new coordinates in the destination image. The traditional algorithms for geometric transformation are time consuming and not accurate. With a very few exceptions, all geometric transformations result in some output pixel locations being missed because no input pixels were transformed there. This paper presents an easy-to- implement and very efficient algorithm for image geometric transform. The idea behind the proposed algorithm comes from the current work on transferring properties between images, where various types of properties (i.e. transformation filters) are to be learned from one source image – and applied to another target image. The results demonstrate the efficiency effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Abstract:
In AES MixColumns operation, the branch number of circulant matrix is raised from 5 to 9 with 8´8 circulant matrices that can be enhancing the diffusion power. An efficient method to compute the circulant matrices in AES MixColumns transformation for speeding encryption is presented. Utilizing 8´8 involutory matrix multiplication is required 64 multiplications and 56 additions in in AES Mix-Columns transformation. We proposed the method with diversity 8´8 circulant matrices is only needed 19 multiplications and 57 additions. It is not only to encryption operations but also to decryption operations. Therefore, 8´8 circlant matrix operation with AES key sizes of 128bits, 192bits, and 256 bits are above 29.1%, 29.3%, and 29.8% faster than using 4´4 involutory matrix operation (16 multiplications, 12 additions), respectively. 8´8 circulant matrix encryption/decryption speed is above 78% faster than 8´8 involutory matrix operation. Ultimately, the proposed method for evaluating matrix multiplication can be made regular, simple and suitable for software implementations on embedded systems.

Abstract:
Shift transformations are the fundamental operation of cryptographic algorithms, and the arithmetic unit implementing different types of shift transformations are utilized in the coarse-grain reconfigurable cryptographic architectures (CGRCA) to meet the different cryptographic algorithms. In this paper, a reconfigurable shift transformation unit (RSTU) is proposed to meet the complicated shift requirement of CGRCA, which achieves high flexibility and a good cost–performance ratio. The mathematical properties of shift transformation are analyzed, and several theorems are introduced to design a reconfigurable shifter. Furthermore, the reconfigurable data path of the proposed unit is presented to implement the random combination of shift operations in different granularity, and configuration word and routing algorithms are proposed to generate control information for RSTU. Moreover, the control information generation module is designed to invert the configuration word into the control information, according to the routing algorithms. As a proof-of-concept, the proposed RSTU is built using the CMOS 65 nm technology. The experimental results show that RSTU supports more shift operations, increases 18.2% speed at most, and reduces 13% area occupation, compared to the existing shifters.

Abstract:
The same property of the phase transformations driven by short range diffusion (recrystallization, allotropic transformation, grain coarsening) is that the movements of the grain or the phase boundaries take place by atomic jumps through the boundaries. The probability (frequency) of these jumps depends on only on the energy state of the closenear neighborhood of the atoms. In the operation of cellular automata Consequently, only the closenear neighborhood of the cells is taken into account in the operation of the cellular automaton. This similarity makes applicable the cellular automaton applicable to simulate the aforementioned phase transformation processes. A condition (rule) of the movement of grain and phase boundaries is introduced, which makes it possible to simulate all the all mentioned phase transformation by the same automatona.

Abstract:
For unstructured environment applications, the ability of self-recognition for grasping operations should be guaranteed for manipulators. For this purpose, a grasping process, including instance segmentation, pose estimation, and pose transformation, is proposed herein to achieve autonomous object detection, location detection, and grasp planning. An inverse solution in position form is derived for pose transformation to guarantee redundant manipulator adaption. The inverse solution requires no default initial configuration and can obtain all feasible solutions for grasping. Additionally, the optimal grasp can be selected by introducing an optimal factor, such as manipulability. Besides, the process is programmed with high computational efficiency, making it a better choice for manipulators to achieve self-recognized grasping operation. Experiments are carried out herein to verify the necessity of instance segmentation, pose estimation, and pose transformation in achieving self-recognized grasping operation. The inverse solution in the position form is also proven to be efficient and adaptable for the pose transformation of redundant manipulators.

Abstract:
Green's functions for elastic solids with random properties are usually derived by means of the perturbation method. This paper deals with a new approach that has the potential to deal with a large variability of random shear modulus based on the transformation of a polynomial chaos. The deterministic Green's functions for stresses and displacements and the principal values in the boundary integrals caused by a pressure load on the surface are nonlinear transformations of the random variables. A series of transformations of the polynomial chaos is used to transform significant parts of the equation. The first operation is a projection of the log normal distributed shear modulus to a series of Hermite's polynomials based on a Gaussian variable. The second operation is the determination of an arbitrary potential of the wave velocity. The last operation, similar to the first one, consists in the determination of an exponential function depending on the inverse of the wave velocity. These operations, together with multiplications and summations, transform the complete relation from the random shear modulus to Green's functions and principal values. The inversion of the system matrix is already derived for the random finite element approach. The operations are independent of the specific problem and can be applied to almost all acoustic media and similar nonlinear problems.

Double-loop networks have been widely studied as architecture for local area networks. The L-shape is an important tool for studying the distance properties of double-loop networks. Two L-shapes are equivalent if the numbers of nodes k steps away from the origin are the same for every k. Hwang and Xu first studied equivalent L-shapes through a geometric operation called a 3-rectangle transformation. Rödseth gave an algebraic operation, which was found by Huang, Hwang and Liu to correspond to the 3-rectangle transformation. Recently, Chen and Hwang obtained all equivalent transformations for the nondegenerate case. In this paper, we do the same for the degenerate case.

Abstract:
Teratomas are rarely seen in adults, and presacral region is an area where they rarely settle in. Similarly, only about 1% of teratomas show malignant transformation. Malignant transformation is often associated with the area where teratoma settles in. Malignant transformation of mediastinal teratomas is more frequent than the ones located in retroperitoneal area and gonad. They most commonly show rhabdomyosarcoma, primitive neuroectodermal tumor, enteric adenocarcinoma, and leukemia transformation. In teratomas showing malignant transformation, the clinical course is aggressive; and survival of patients with metastatic disease is very low. The primary treatment of teratomas with malignant transformations is surgical. Effect of radiotherapy and chemotherapy is not clear in patients, to whom surgical operation cannot be applied, or those who are with residual tumor, even if surgical operation can be applied to them, or those who are at metastatic stage. In this paper, we presented a 76-year-old male patient due to the histologic diagnosis of mucinous adenocarcinoma within teratoma, in whom approximately 7 cm presacral mass was found during the radiographic examination made by the reason of low back pain and pelvic pain.

Abstract:
Abstract Railway platform clearance is directly related to the safe operation of trains and the personal safety of passengers. Precise, efficient, and real-time platform clearance inspection is of importance to the safety of railway operations. Considering the shortcomings of the contact measurement method, such as low efficiency, low precision, and many manual operations, a platform clearance measurement system based on monocular computer vision assisted with structured light is proposed. The coordinate of corner points from the calibration ruler is determined by the LSD algorithm to compute a transformation matrix from Image Coordinate System (ICS) to World Coordinate System (WCS). Then, based on homography transformation, the world coordinates of the platform are obtained by the transformation matrix; and used to calculate different types of clearances. The experiments show that the precision can reach 5mm by using the system. It can effectively meet the requirements of railway operation and have a broad prospect.

This paper explores perceptions ofzoos, objects which are generally replicas of Manchu-era coins attached to the surfaces of some shamans’ coats in present-day Mongolia. Beginning by noting that the general perception of these objects in shamanic praxis is to protect the shaman who wears them, I explore another way in which they are perceived: as things which connote particular aspects of money used in present-day Mongolia. I take two aspects of Mongolian money—its multiplicity and capacity for transformation—and use these to account for the presence ofzooson shamans’ coats. I argue that the multiplicity aspect of money is analogous with the multiplicity of objects attached to a shaman’s coat, and that the multiplicity aspect of money connoted byzoosis something into which can be read the operation of this type of garment. I also explore the capacity of Mongolian money to be transformed into other things, and suggest this is analogous to the transformative nature of spirits which possess shamans during seances. In doing so, I propose thatzoosare able to elaborate the operation of the garments to which they are attached, in a way that is informative of particular perceptions of money in present-day Mongolia.

We propose a novel linear time algorithm which, given any directed weighted graphs a and b with vertex degrees 1 or 2, constructs a sequence of operations transforming a into b. The total cost of operations in this sequence is minimal among all possible ones or differs from the minimum by an additive constant that depends only on operation costs but not on the graphs themselves; this difference is small as compared to the operation costs and is explicitly computed. We assume that the double cut and join operations have identical costs, and costs of the deletion and insertion operations are arbitrary strictly positive rational numbers.

Metadata information must be extracted for data transformation. Furthermore, these procedures were required to communicate with each type of database system and retrieve the stored metadata; these processes required much information and effort. To overcome the challenge of accessing and extracting metadata from any type of data source, a unifomed method must be developed and integrated into any organization's information systems. The semi-structured data extraction method (SeDEM) is a developed method that includes three main operations: logical structure operation, unique key operation, and relationships operation. Finally, the accurate information obtained using the SeDEM addressed data quality issues concerning the integrity and completeness of the data transformation.

AbstractIn 1986, Higgins proved that T(X), the semigroup (under composition) of all total transformations of a set X, has a proper dense subsemigroup if and only if X is infinite, and he obtained similar results for partial and partial one-to-one transformations. We consider the generalised transformation semigroup T(X, Y) consisting of all total transformations from X into Y under the operation α * β = αθβ, where θ is any fixed element of T(Y, X). We show that this semigroup has a proper dense subsemigroup if and only if X and Y are infinite and | Yθ| = min{|X|,|Y|}, and we obtain similar results for partial and partial one-to-one transformations. The results of Higgins then become special cases.

Abstract:
The phase transformations of the alloy Ti-40 mas % Nb after tempering and severe plastic deformation are studied. The phase transformations of the alloy according to the type and conditions of external influences are analyzed using methods of XRD, SEM and optical metallography. It is determined that inverse phase transformation of the metastable α''-phase to equilibrium β-phase is carried out after severe plastic deformation. Complete phase transformation α'' → β is typical for the mode, which consists of three pressing operation with the change of the loading axis in cramped conditions, followed by a multi-pass rolling in grooved rolls.

Abstract:
AbstractThis paper presents a unified modelling effort to describe partial phase transformation during cyclic thermo-mechanical loading in Shape Memory Alloys (SMA). To this purpose, a three-dimensional (3D) finite strain constitutive model considering TRansformation-Induced Plasticity (TRIP) is combined with a modified hardening function to enable the accurate and efficient prediction of partial transformations during cyclic thermo-mechanical loading. The capabilities of the proposed model are demonstrated by predicting the behavior of the material under pseudoelastic and actuation operation using finite element analysis. Numerical results of the modified model are presented and compared with the original model without considering the partial transformation feature as well as with uniaxial actuation experimental data. Various aspects of cyclic material behavior under partial transformation are analyzed and discussed for different SMA systems.

Abstract:
A two step operation is proposed for the biodegradation of low concentrations (< 10 mg/L) of BETX substances in an up flow submerged biotower configuration. Step 1 involves growth of a lush biofilm using benzoic acid in a batch mode. Step 2 involves a longer term biological transformation of BETX. Kinetics of biotransformations are modeled using first order assumptions, with rate constants being a function of benzoic acid dosages used in Step 1. A calibrated computer model is developed and presented to predict the degree of transformation and biomass level throughout the tower under a variety of inlet and design operational conditions.

Abstract:
With the development of technology, the ways of doing business are changing, and digital transformations are taking place in the activities of businesses. At this point, digital transformation is reflected in the service businesses in two ways. The first of these is the digital transformation in the operational activities of business management, while the second is in the form of technological innovations offered to guests. To this end, this research focuses on the digital transformation in the operational activities of hotel businesses and aims to determine the operation and interaction of the software offered in digital distribution channels for direct marketing of hotels. In this direction, 57 software companies that provide the relevant software services to hotels in Turkey were accessed, and content analyzes were made on the websites of the relevant companies. In light of the data obtained, the operation chart for the interaction of the software that plays an active role in the direct marketing of the hotels was created and explained by presenting sample quotes from the websites of these businesses. It is expected that the research can contribute to the literature for digital marketing courses in the tourism and hotel management departments of universities, as well as reveal the operation of the interaction of the software in question.

Abstract:
With improved productivity, the impact of social and economic development on the ecological environment is becoming more and more significant, and the transformation of transportation modes often accompanies the transformation of the economic development mode. It is essential to study the impact of high-speed rail (HSR) on the environment. This article constructs a compiled index Ecological Environment Pressure (EEP) evaluation system. The spatial analysis tool is then used to explore the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of EEP in China. The Difference-in-Difference (DID) method and the Propensity Score Matching (PSM) method are used to quantitatively calculate the impact of HSR operations on EEP based on Panel Data. The results show that the EEP in China decreased significantly from 2003 to 2018, and therefore the quality of China’s ecological environment is improving. The regression coefficient of HSR on EEP is significantly negative, indicating that HSR operations will reduce EEP. Additionally, the HSR operation in the eastern and central regions negatively impacts the EEP. At the same time, the HSR operations will also reduce the EEP of resource-based cities, especially for resource-based cities in the central region. The degree of industrial transformation (DIT) and degree of employment transformation (DET), combined with the implementation of HSR operations, can significantly reduce the EEP. It is suggested to formulate more focused actions and policies to reduce EEP and effectively promote sustainable social development.

Abstract:
We demonstrate corner cloak operations mimicking a corner reflector and hiding objects in a truncated corner. The corner cloak is designed at 18.25 GHz and implemented by nonresonant artificial dielectric sheets stacked onto the bottom hypotenuse. It is shown by the near-field measurements that the measured field distributions for the cloak agree well with those for the original area of the corner reflector as well as those for the numerical prediction. The bistatic radar cross-sections (BRCSs) for the cloak and the original area calculated from the measured field distributions coincide with each other and the cloak operation is quantitatively confirmed. The bandwidth evaluated by the specular scattering angles from the BRCSs shows broadband operation as wide as from 16 to 22 GHz.

Abstract:
The cartographic 3D visualization of urban areas has experienced tremendous progress over the last years. An increasing number of applications operate interactively in real-time and thus require advanced techniques to improve the quality and time response of dynamic scenes. The main focus of this article concentrates on the discussion of strategies for smooth transformation between two discrete levels of detail (LOD) of 3D building models that are represented as restricted triangle meshes. Because the operation order determines the geometrical and topological properties of the transformation process as well as its visual perception by a human viewer, three different strategies are proposed and subsequently analyzed. The simplest one orders transformation operations by the length of the edges to be collapsed, while the other two strategies introduce a general transformation direction in the form of a moving plane. This plane either pushes the nodes that need to be removed, e.g. during the transformation of a detailed LOD model to a coarser one, towards the main building body, or triggers the edge collapse operations used as transformation paths for the cartographic generalization.

Moreover, we show that every centralising monoid on a set with at least four elements witnessed by the Mal’cev operation of a Boolean group operation is always a maximal centralising monoid, i.e., a co-atom below the full transformation monoid. On the other hand, we also prove that centralising monoids witnessed by certain types of permutations or retractive operations can never be maximal.

Abstract:
In this paper, 9-level, 17-level, 19-level, 21-level, 27-level, and 39- level inverters with SPWM are presented. According to a switching function, the high-multilevel inverter design has been described since a new multi-level inverter structure is considered. The multilevel inverter structure is designed with placing switches and sources on levels. Pulse width modulation, controlling switches in the inverter structure, is also produced by comparison between triangles and sinus signals. Operating sequences of the switches are given in the table in order to demonstrate the inverter operation characteristic with the produced signals. Then, mathematical equations are formed by considering an operation of switches on the load. In simulations and experiments, the 9-level, 17- level, 19-level, 21-level, 27-level, and 39-level inverters are performed on the resistance (R) and inductance (L) loads with different resistance, because it is difficult to generate current and voltage with an acceptable harmonic distortion on the impedances which have high ohmic values. After applications of experimentation and simulation, the obtained results are compared with other published papers of results and the international IEEE standard, which is 5% for harmonic distortions of creating currents and voltages.

Abstract:
We consider a distributed network whose topology is described by an undirected graph. The network itself can change its topology, using special “commands” provided by its nodes. The work proposes an extremely local atomic transformation acb of a change the end c of the edge ac, “moving” along the edge cb from vertex c to vertex b. As a result of this operation, the edge ac is removed, and the edge ab is added. Such a transformation is performed by a “command” from a common vertex c of two adjacent edges ac and cb. It is shown that from any tree you can get any other tree with the same set of vertices using only atomic transformations. If the degrees of the tree vertices are bounded by the number d (d 3), then the transformation does not violate this restriction. As an example of the purpose of such a transformation, the problems of maximizing and minimizing the Wiener index of a tree with a limited degree of vertices without changing the set of its vertices are considered. The Wiener index is the sum of pairwise distances between the vertices of a graph. The maximum Wiener index has a linear tree (a tree with two leaf vertices). For a root tree with a minimum Wiener index, its type and method for calculating the number of vertices in the branches of the neighbors of the root are determined. Two distributed algorithms are proposed: transforming a tree into a linear tree and transforming a linear tree into a tree with a minimum Wiener index. It is proved that both algorithms have complexity no higher than 2n–2, where n is the number of tree vertices. We also consider the transformation of arbitrary undirected graphs, in which there can be cycles, multiple edges and loops, without restricting the degree of the vertices. It is shown that any connected graph with n vertices can be transformed into any other connected graph with k vertices and the same number of edges in no more than 2(n+k)–2.

In the context of low-carbon economy, this paper analyzes the necessity of technical transformation of the loss reduction in power networks. A low-energy-consumption benefit evaluation model was established for some technical transformation projects for loss reduction, so was a low-emission benefit evaluation model for loss reduction measures. Through field survey and statistical computation, the CO2 emission reduction potential of a selected power supply company, by adopting technical transformation for loss reduction, was comprehensively assessed. On this basis, the optimization of low-carbon technical transformations for loss reduction in plan and construction, operation and maintenance, and management and administration was put forward, in order to realize the mentioned CO2 emission reduction potential of the company.

Abstract:
This paper defines the truncated normalized max product operation for the transformation ofstates of a network and provides a method for solving a set of equations based on this operation. The operation serves as the transformation for the set of fully connected units in a recurrent network that otherwise might consist of linear threshold units. Component values of the state vector and ouputs of the units take on the values in the set {0, 0.1, …, 0.9, 1}. The result is a much larger state space given a particular number of units and size of connection matrix than for a network based on threshold units. Since the operation defined here can form the basis of transformations in a recurrent network with a finite number of states, fixed points or cycles are possible and the network based on this operation for transformations can be used as an associative memory or pattern classifier with fixed points taking on the role of prototypes. Discrete fully recurrent networks have proven themselves to be very useful as associative memories and as classifiers. However they are often based on units that have binary states. The effect of this is that the data to be processed consisting of vectors in ℜn have to be converted to vectors in {0, 1}m with m much larger than n since binary encoding based on positional notation is not feasible. This implies a large increase in the number of components. The effect can be lessened by allowing more states for each unit in our network. The network proposed demonstrates those properties that are desirable in an associative memory very well as the simulations show.
