Abstract:
Online technologies are currently the most dynamically developing industry, both in product creation and promotion. The study focuses on their incorporation into the SME (small and medium enterprises) segment, which comprises the most economically stable element of any European economy. This paper aims to identify and evaluate dependency in the area of online technologies and promotion tools use in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) related to company age and export involvement. Most research on SMEs focuses on external influences and factors, while this article reflects the internal environment of business entities, which is the source of this study’s originality. The hypotheses were validated by an empirical study of a sample of 743 respondents (companies and entrepreneurs, including family businesses). The research method was a combination of CATI and CASI, and the research tool was a structured questionnaire. To analyze the survey results, the Chi-square test of independence was applied. The key finding was validation of the dependence between the use of the online tools for manufacturing and promotion and the export focus of companies. Companies operating on foreign markets use a wider range of online tools for their business than companies focused on the domestic market. On the other hand, the presumed significant differences in the use of online tools between young businesses and companies long-term established on the market were not confirmed. Abstract:
The Internet age has seen the influential rise of social media. Consumer culture is tied to this modern phenomenon. This paper begins with an exposition of Herbert Marcuse’s grounding in phenomenology and his subsequent critique of Heidegger’s apolitical Dasein. In explicating Marcuse’s critical theory of technology, this paper will retrace Hegel’s influence on Marcuse in the idea of the dialectic. The dialectic is an integral aspect of social transformation. While modern technology may be value-neutral, it is argued herein that the lack of depth in social media provokes thought and invites critical dissent. Marcuse believes in the capacity of modern tools to effect social reform through adaptation. But emerging pathologies from online technology also have pressing challenges. For instance, social media makes manifest a dominant order that can be manipulative. It can be said that particular interests, notably from business and capitalists, shape the type of consumer culture that online technology promotes. In advancing Marcuse’s relevance in today’s Internet age, the paper will explore how social media as a platform can truly liberate the individual from the ills that consumerism peddles online.

Abstract:
Although the measurement of offline and online marketing is extensively researched, the literature on online performance measurement still has a number of limitations such as slow theory advancement and predominance of technology- and practitioner-driven measurement approaches. By focusing on the widely employed but under-researched affiliate marketing channel, this study addresses these limitations and evaluates the effectiveness of practitioner-led online performance assessment. The paper offers a comprehensive review of extant performance measurement research across traditional, online and affiliate marketing and, employing grounded theory, presents a qualitative in-depth analysis of 72 online forum discussions and 37 semi-structured interviews with the major affiliate marketing stakeholders. As a result, the research identifies a growing need for change in the technology-pushed measurement approaches in affiliate marketing, and proposes actionable improvement recommendations for affiliate and online marketing managers.

Abstract:
In this article, the authors discuss how technology can enhance online teaching and student engagement. As the number of adult learners increase and the continuing use of online teaching increases, it is important to keep students engaged during learning. If the adult learners are engaged, they will most likely remain the duration of the course, ensuring retention in online courses. Currently completion rates for online courses can be significantly lower than those of the traditional classroom based on studies by a number of authors for a variety of reasons (Diaz, 2002; Lorenzetti, 2002; Murray, 2001). Students will also be more likely to sign up for future online classes when engagement strategies are used. By incorporating the type of technology students use in their everyday life will encourage engagement and relevance. When educators use technology effectively and efficiently in their classes, this increases engagement and provides a positive learning experience for the student. The article reviews literature that outlines different types of technology and the ways technology can complement an online class.

Abstract:
Emerging technologies have helped everyone get through their daily tasks and become easier. however, it is still a concern for many people to use technology because they do not know how to trust someone in helping to solve something. In many previous types of research, the focus has been found in the relationship between consumer trust and its antecedents. This article examines the factor that can develop trust among consumers in online shopping. There are 6 factors that are used to test online trust development: reputation, risk, website quality, service quality, business size, and the reference group. The methodology for the study is quantitative and the questionnaire will be distributed through an online survey in line with the ongoing research related to the online. This will be more targeted to online users especially the younger generation who are more likely to use technology.

Abstract:
A considerable number of studies on mobile-assisted language learning have been conducted, but less attention has been paid to online informal learning of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) performed using smartphones among undergraduate EFL learners in Indonesia. Thus, this study was specifically aimed at investigating EFL learners’ most frequently-performed EFL learning activities through smartphones, the predominant online language use, and the relationship between EFL learners’ predominant online language use and their perceived EFL proficiency. The study adopted a quantitative approach. The findings reveal that the participants still more frequently access content and information from their smartphones for receptive rather than interactive/productive online activities. Indonesian, which is the participants’ first language, is still predominantly used for their online activities. The mean score of the perceived EFL proficiency of those who frequently perform online activities in English is statistically and significantly higher than those performing online activities in Indonesian. Overall, the mean score of the perceived EFL proficiency of those performing online activities in English is higher than those in Indonesian, although the difference is not statistically significant. Finally, the study’s implications with suggestions for future research are discussed.

Abstract:
The paper proposes a model for quantitatively analyzing the link between Privacy, Usability, Government Support, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Intention to Use and Commitment in the online banking context in Pakistan. In Pakistan (comparing to the size of bank accounts open), few people benefit from online banking and prefer the physical approach. This study analyzes how conventional banking users can be converted to online users, thus reducing the crowds at banks for menial tasks, giving banks more time to focus on corporate clients. For this purpose, an online survey was distributed via social messengers and websites. Out of the collected data, 310 normalized samples were analyzed using correlation and multiple linear regressions. The findings showed that except “Privacy”, “Usability” and “Government Support” had a relationship with “Perceived Ease of Use” where “Privacy” showed no significant impact. “Privacy” had a significant relationship with “Perceived Usefulness”, as did “Perceived Ease of Use”, and “Perceived Usefulness” and “Perceived Ease of Use” had a significant relationship with “Intention to Use”; “Intention” also had a significant relationship with “Commitment to Use Online Banking”. Thus, it is concluded that banks need to realize that bank customers require ease of access and use in order to successfully adapt to the use of online banking, despite the users not being very cautious about online privacy that banks require to ensure on their end, regardless of the user’s thought process.

Abstract:
This qualitative study was focused on higher education and learning through online didactic communication. Using an approach of mixed data collection methods, such as: essay, focus group technique and oral questioning, the research aimed to identify how online communication can be streamlined. The role is to identify different components of the learning environment that may affect the learning experience. These components could have a major impact on efficient communication of higher education (students cohort is N = 98). Results have shown that students had well-defined opinions regarding didactic communication in the virtual environment. They had a positive learning experience and efficient communication only if they were involved in activities and if they were not distracted by other actions or sounds of the environment.

Abstract:
Financial Technology (Fintech) is a technology alternative that facilitates loan transactions that can be done online. Online loans create new problems such as rampant fraud and default. Referring to the problems described, this research was conducted with the aim of explaining the legal position of financial technology-based online loan agreements (Fintechl), and knowing the legal protection of creditors who provide financial technology-based online loans (Fintech). This research used normative legal research. Sources of data are primary and secondary legal materials, data are combined with recording techniques in obtaining primary and secondary legal materials, namely examining several reading materials such as journals, scientific books and statutory regulations. After the data is collected, it is then analyzed qualitatively. The result showed that the legal position of online loan agreements based on financial technology (Fintech) when reviewed legally, the online agreement is legally valid because it has a basis, namely Article 1320 of the Civil Code and the validity of the evidence used refers to law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Article 5 of the ITE Law on information, documents and electronic signatures. Legal protection for creditors in an online loan agreement based on financial technology (Fintech) consists of preventive legal protection and repressive legal protection.

Abstract:
Abstract: The Coronavirus outbreak which began in December 2019 became a world-wide pandemic by March 2020.The education industry had to adapt to this new change in a speedy and most feasible way by shifting to virtual classes over the internet and other available resources. As a result of this several tools for video and audio conferencing, text messaging and networking became very popular. Platforms such as Google Classroom and LMS( Learning Management Systems) gained popularity. Lectures are conducted in two ways- either live interaction of faculty and students on platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom app, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting and other similar applications; or by sending pre-recorded videos to students using LMS, Whatsapp and other similar applications. Digital applications are being primarily used for conducting online teaching, learning and evaluation. We tried to survey the amount of time the students are spending on their smart devices and whether it is leading to or has already caused technology addiction. We prepared a questionnaire and grouped it into 3 categories namely, Usage of Technology, Impact of Online Education and the Time Spent on various categories of applications.
