Abstract:
The paper is devoted to the publication and analysis of the literary and cartographic sources of the late 18th — early 20th centuries in some way or another related to the ruins of Olbio and its outskirts. Some of them are dated back to so-called «pre-Russian period» of the study of this unique complex of archaeological sites, in particular the plan of the French military topographer A. Zh. de Lafitt-Clave in 1784 where any settlements is not marked directly in the Olbio region. Further is the «Russian Old Believers episode» of the history of Ilyinske-Parutine village recorded by Count A. S. Uvarov in 1848. The author paid the main attention to several problems and aspects of the history of mapping the Olbio settlement and the Sto Mohyl (One hundred kurgans) tract which was began around 1810 by I. S. Borislavsky. Particular attention in the paper was paid to the plans of P. I. Kцppen 1819, and it is also specified that the author of one of the best plans of Olbio (1863) was A. P. Chirkov. The result of these researches is the «List of basic plans and maps of Olbio and its environs in the 1810s — 1860s» (Appendix 1). In the final part of the paper the sources of the late 19th—20th centuries which were the basis of S.B. Buyskikh’s reconstruction of the defense line of Olbian limes were analyzed in detail. The main problem with these constructions is that earthen embankments with moats have not yet been identified or explored. Based on a number of facts and field observations, the route of the road from Olbio to the west (to Tyras and other cities), which passed through Kamеnka (Anchekrak), is proposed by the author. It is clear that this assumption needs to be tested in the field using modern devices (GPS navigator, georadar and drone). In addition, the author republished the essays by I. I. Kedrin «Small town Illinskoe» 1850 (Appendix 2) and A. A. Skalkovsky about his trip to Olbio in 1861 (Appendix 3).

Abstract:
Dryinidae (Hymenoptera: Chrysidoidea) are recorded for the first time from Rovno amber (Ukraine), following the discovery of one female of Dryinus janzeni Olmi. Holotypes of D. balticus (Olmi) and D. bruesi (Olmi) previously assigned to the Baltic amber, were actually collected on the coast of Denmark, so that they have to be recorded as specimens in Scandinavian (Danish) amber. As a result, true records of Dryinus species of group 3 (Olmi 1993) in Baltic amber are three: D. janzeni, D. bruesi, because of a second specimen found in true Baltic amber, and D. velteni Olmi. Dryinidae are the 33th hymenopteran family known from Rovno amber. Three species, D. janzeni, D. bruesi and D. balticus are known from understudied Rovno and Scandinavian amber originated from the warmer south coast of the Subparathetys. Dryinus janzeni is the 115th hymenopteran species known from Rovno amber and the first Dryinus record from Ukraine.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Oil spill is a leakage of a liquid petroleum hydrocarbon into the environment, especially into the marine ecosystem, due to human activity. Oceanic oil spills became a major environmental problem in the ‘60s, chiefly as a result of intensified petroleum exploration and production on continental shelves, of the use of supertankers capable of transporting more than 500,000 tonnes of oil, and of several accidents involving ships or oil rigs. Thousands of minor and several major oil spills related to well discharges and tanker operations are reported each year. As a consequence of a spill, crude oil and refined petroleum products may be released onto the surface of a large body of water. This can have disastrous consequences from the social, economical, and environmental point of view. This thesis focuses on evaluating the environmental consequences of accidental oil spills in the Mediterranean Sea through the use of the GNOME software. Releases of different types of oils, in various positions of the study area, in different meteorological conditions are taken into account. After Chapter 1, the introductory section, Chapter 2 is devoted to the processes of oil weathering. In Chapter 3, the software GNOME is introduced. In Chapter 4, some case studies are carried out and the significant factors that may influence the spill trajectory are examined, and then the results are discussed. Chapter 5 presents the conclusions.

Abstract:
This thesis attempts to put into practice certain precepts culled from leading semioticians in its focus on La camisa (1960), a work by the contemporary Spanish dramatist, Lauro Olmo (1922-). Semiotics has, thus, provided the theoretical framework from which to question the usual critical interpretations of this work: by concentrating on the theme of heroism the intention here is, therefore, to offer an alternative critical reading of the play's protagonists.
The work of Patrice Pavis, Anne Ubersfeld and Keir Elam is examined in the first chapter and particular attention is paid to the interface between signs, communication and characterization on stage. This is the theoretical basis for the consideration in the next chapter of the heroism of the masculine protagonist, widely acknowledged in previous criticism. In the third chapter an innovative interpretation is offered, using the same theoretical base, of the heroism of the female protagonist, which posits a code of behaviour rarely commented upon before.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
The toxicity of four botanical insecticides, Biomilbe, Biobug, Bugitol, and Garlic Barrier, was evaluated in the laboratory onto larvae and adults of the elm leaf beetle Xanthogaleruca luteola Müller (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), which were collected in Parque O`Higgins, Santiago, Metropolitan Region of Chile. The insecticides were applied at four concentrations with a Potter spray tower, and their action was evaluated in three ways, directly, to determine contact toxicity, onto leaves, to measure contact effect of residues, and a test using a tray with leaves sprayed with the insecticide on one side, and leaves sprayed only with water in the other, to observe any effect of repellence. For the first two experiments, a completely random statistical design was used, with four insecticide treatments at four concentrations each, and an untreated control, and four replicates per treatment. The experimental unit was a Petri dish with 20 individuals. Mortality was evaluated at 24 and 48 hours after spraying onto leaves, and after 30 and 60 minutes in the experiment of immersion of leaves. Percentages of mortality were subjected to non-parametric tests without standardization of data and range tests to separate means. The percentages of mortality obtained were very low. The greatest mortality was obtained with Bugitol at 4%, with 46,3% y 37,5% of mortality of larvae and adults respectively. The preliminary repellency test show marked effects on the leaves treated with Biomilbe y Biobug, and higher percentage of larvae concentrated on spray leaves only with water.

Abstract:
This chapter features a selection of excerpts from Cavendish’s book, Worlds Olio. The passages treat a number of topics and issues: whether or not there are inherent capability differences between men and women; gender; similarities and differences between human beings and (other) animals; happiness; fame; desire; self-love; forms of government; social order; the authority and reach of philosophy; the role of the senses in cognition; medical experimentation and disease; God; predestination; and the regularity that is exhibited in the natural world. The chapter begins with a preface in which Cavendish speaks very negatively of the capacities of women, at one point saying that “Women have no strength nor light of Understanding, but what is given them from Men.” The reader can decide against the background of other texts in the corpus whether Cavendish is embracing an anti-feminist position here or whether she is being ironic.

Abstract:
Corrosion conditions in the Chemical and Oil and Gas Industries are such that equipment must withstand pressure and corrosion at high temperatures. Due to the fact that in many cases only the internal surface is exposed to corrosive attack, and so only that surface needs to be protected, savings on material costs can be achieved by taking advantage of the weld overlay technique. Weld overlay, through the choice of alloy, is selected to resist to the corrosive attack. Parent material can be selected based on the required strength at temperature. In recent years, highly corrosion resistant Nickel Chromium-Molybdenum Alloys have been developed to operate in the most severe corrosive environments. One of the recent developments in this family of materials, is Alloy 59 UNS N06059 that is replacing Hastelloy C-2000 UNS N06200 and Hastelloy C-22 UNS N06022. Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum alloys are the most versatile nickel alloys, because they contain molybdenum, which protects against corrosion under reducing conditions, and chromium which protects against corrosion under oxidizing conditions. Wrought products produced from these alloys are processed to obtain a homogeneous austenitic grain structure. Weld overlay or weld deposit, due to the fundamental differences in processing compared to base material, result in a more heterogeneous metallurgical grain structure that in general shows however a good level of corrosion resistance. Weld or Weld overlay features are highly dependent on electric parameters, filler metal, technique, base material temperature, etc., and for this reason the general settings of the welding process need to be finalized and tested, with the intent of optimizing all these parameters in order to allow the best corrosion results. A research activity has been carried out by ALFA LAVAL OLMI to define a processes and parameters’ selection in order to obtain a weld deposit with a behavior as close as possible to wrought Alloy 59 base material.

Abstract:
Marinilla´s cultural landscape and spacial characterization (Colombia). Catalina Montoya Arenas¹, Lina María Escobar Ocampo¹, Claudia Maria Venegas Velez¹ ¹Facultad de Arquitectura, UPB. Circular 1 N°70-01 Medellin, Colombia. E-mail: catalina.montoyaarenas@upb.edu.co, lina.escobar@upb.edu.co, claudia.ve7@gmail.com Keywords (3-5): Cultural landscape, social management, heritage, spacial transformations, tourism Conference topics and scale: Stages in territorial configuration The historic center of Marinilla, National Monument since 1959, is located sixty minutes from Medellin at San Nicolas Valley. It has exceptional landscape conditions, highly productive lands, and a large percentage of the water reserve that supplies the region and the country, giving the territory an economic center character since the colony. These physical values make part of collective imagination as a recreation area and an opportunity for development in the 1960s, according to the construction of large national infrastructure works. At the same time, it was object of armed conflict in the 1980s and 1990s, and more recently, directly related to the spatial dynamics of the region: unplanned urban expansion, changes in land use and vegetation cover, with effects on the cultural landscape. In a post-conflict situation, the economic strategies of different actors trust on tourism as a social-spatial management strategy to improve the territory. However, the identity of rurality shows spatial imbalances without recognizing elements of historical construction whose legacies must be revealed to ensure equitable development. To do this, we propose an approach from the cultural landscape in a revision of the historical, symbolic and relational transformation through five systems (anthropic, productive, political, symbolic and spatial), analyzing competitiveness, tourism, landscape and social management, in different scales and during three historical moments.
