Abstract:
The subject of this thesis is the issue of valuation of environmental damage. The first part describes the current status (risk from mobile sources, their analysis and evaluation methods of damage assessment, legislation). It is obvious that the given issue is a hot topic and needs to be addressed. The next section describes the materials and methods to solve the issue and description of a model example to award damages. The aim is to build such a method that modeled appreciate the damage and then is applicable to a real problem. It also includes an analysis of risk. The method is based on the general approach Sejak, namely table is used with specific numbers for the injury calculations. In conclusion, it is concluded that the objective has been achieved, and the match was awarded a shame not financially financially. The recommendation is to use or improve a method for real crashes mobile sources in practice.

The problems with the environmental damage valuation which are caused by the stationary sources belong to the important issues to be solved. Due to the heavy industrial activity in the Czech Republic it is important to pay attention to the possible risks which can emerge from these sources and can impact the environment and the health condition of people. The thesis deals with the analysis of the present state of this problem. The analysis of the risks which come from the specific situation is made on its basis. The goal of this thesis is to propose the general procedure of the valuation of the incurred damage on the environment and the minimization of the risks.

The thesis examines sequences, important problems and aspects in relation to each method of the evaluation of damages. At the end of the thesis a study of a hypotetical case is carried out to show basic solutions of problems with the evaluation of damages.

The aim of my thesis is to outline the field of the insurance-claims settlement, to determine the amount of indemnity for the damage caused by the weight of snow, and also to clarify basic concepts of real estate appraisal. In the introduction I define basic concepts associated with that topic. Then I bring the reader into the field of real estate appraisal and I define basic concepts and appraisal methods and description. In the next part of my thesis I mention the principles of the insurance company´s claim settlement activity, the products related to property insurance, the person involved in the settlement, and last but not least I outline the claim settlement process itself. However, the point is not just to provide a plain list of all steps involved in the process but to give the reader a better idea how to proceed and what the basic concepts of the field are. In the final practical part I will focus precisely on the determination of the compensation for the damage casused by the weight of snow based on reasonable costs and for bringing the insured property to its original (operational) state.

In the first-theoretical part are explained the basic concepts related to the three main themes - valuation of real estates, bill of quantity method and insurance of real estates. The practical part is focused on the liquidation of a particular insurance event on a family house in Zlin. In the introductionof the practical part, the object is localized and the insurance event is described in detail, for comparing were dispatched valuation at different times. In conclusion of the part, there were the results compared and evaluated.

The aim of the Thesis is to determine the amount of indemnity for the total damage caused of the wooden detached house caused by fire, find out the costs of bringing the property to its original state and evaluate the price of the original and after an insured event the newly established building. The theoretical part is devoted to the basic concepts and methods in the field of real estate valuation and insurance and the liquidation of insurance events. On the introduction and theoretical part is followed by a practical part in which I apply the theoretical information on the real, by fire stricken the wooden family house, I approach the location and describe the building technical condition before and after the occurrence of the insured event. I find a new price of the real estate at the time of approval, the current price before and after the occurrence of the insured event and the new price of an identical family house without the structures which have been preserved and have not been damaged by the fire or fire-fighters. At the conclusion of the Thesis is the insured value of the building after repair of damage compared with the insured value just before the occurrence of the insured event.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to determine the amount of indemnity for damage caused by a lightning strike to a house in the village Šebetov. The thesis is dividend into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the basic concepts, associated with the topic. Furthermore, the approach of valuation of assets and insurance. The practical part uses theoretical knowledge addresses a specific case. First, the location is described, house and insured event (natural event – flash). Following the calculation of the time value immediately before the insured event, further costs are quantified to repair the damage incurred and then is detected current value after repairs. At the end, there is comparison of the time price comparisons of costs incurred for repairs and evaluation of the agreed sum insured in the insurance contract.

The aim of the Thesis is to establish the height of the insurance claim for the damage caused by the fire of the family house in Ivančice. The Thesis is divided into two separate sections, the theoretical one and the practical one. The theoretical part deals with the Czech insurance market issues such as property evaluation and evaluation of construction works. In the practical part there are established two different insurance value of the property. First one relates to the condition of the property shortly after completion and the second one should reflect the state of the property shortly before the damage caused by the fire. This part of the Thesis is followed by the description of the insurance claim with the list of damage caused by the fire supplemented with calculation of cost of the adequate reconstruction. The final part of the document contains comparation of the insurance value established shortly before the damage and the insurance value of the property evaluatated after the reconstruction.

This thesis addresses the requirements and procedure for determining the amount of indemnity for a home insurance claim within the selected period of time. Introductory chapter describes general principles of insurance and types of insurance. It clarifies differences between insurance and insurance industry. Next section is devoted to the particulars of the insurance contract, one of the mandatory legislation at the conclusion of the insurance policy and, therefore, this topic received considerable attention. The work also focuses on property insurance, on the valuation methods for the liquidation of assets and, finally, discusses the basic concepts of the topic. The main chapter describes a case study of insurance claim process and indemnification process in the event of property damage. The beginning of the section describes the case study property in general. Later in the chapter it is described property appraisal throughout past decades, the event of property damage, process of determination of the amount of indemnity in accordance with the insurance contract and general insurance conditions. The final chapter focuses on the evaluation of the results and their comparison.

The thesis is engaged in executing the prices of three different types of houses and especially the assessment of whether insurance contract in each of them covers a potential total loss, ensuring the cost of comparable housing. Location of interest is located in the district of Blansko, namely Letovice and surroundings. The basic terminology and methods of real estate valuation is described in the thesis. In details, three selected methods are described, which are cost method, comparative method according to regulations and the comparative non-promulgation method which have been used for valuation. For the real estate insurance has been selected company Allianz, which is also described in the thesis. The conclusion is devoted to the recapitulation of prices and insurance cover risk.

1 Abstract This thesis aims to transparently elaborate the topic of damages in investment disputes. Chapter One is a brief introduction to the problem. It provides a short clarification of the concept and meaning of arbitration and its importance for the protection of investors; it also describes the principles of modern forms of investor protection. The end of the first Chapter includes a short introduction regarding the sources on damages in investment arbitration. Chapter Two deals with the issue of valuation. At the beginning the author approaches the issue in general, describing the basic terminology and definitions and providing the classification of the valuation methodology (Market-Based Approache, Income- Based Approach, Asset-Based Approach).
