The task of this thesis is the concept of restoration of the castle Zdislavice and its new use as a literary hotel, focusing on the personality of a prominent Austrian writer Marie Ebner-Eschenbach, née Dubská. My goal was to find use, which could be revived and could thus be preserved for future generations. Thanks to the personality of the writer, I decided to create site devoted to literature. I designed hotel for literary enthusiasts, linguists, copywriters and professionals. But also for visitors who are interested in the person of Marie Ebner-Eschenbach. There is also a restaurant, a literary cafe with an associated museum of the writer, chapel, banquet halls with potential uses for conference and library (three libraries). Part of the area is used as a park. It is designed as an English park, but part of the area closest to the castle is designed as a French garden. The tomb of Marie Ebner-Eschenbach is near the castle and is accessible via a staircase. Connection between tomb and castle is shown in the situration plan.

Goal of this final thesis was reconstruction of the Chateau in Ivanovice na Hane and repurposing of it's spaces. The thesis is made on a level of architectual study. Studied area is located near the center of the Ivanovice, the object is part of the premises of the Bioveta a.s. corporation. The thesis deals with gentle repurposing of the object's spaces and the Chateau's garden. The intention of the investor was to have offices, small brewery, small accommodation and a café. The design is opening the object and the near garden for the public, there are newly created space for museum in the Chateau. The structure of the chateau was supplemented by glass lift in the yard. The utility room is located in the basement. The brawery, beer tasting, café and reception is on the first floor. Museum is located in the second floor complemented by seasonal exposure and accomodations. Museum is focused around Thirty Years’ War and the history of the chateau and Ivanovice. The offices are on the third floor, and they are made for interacting with the public. Connection of the chateau and the garden is an important part of the design, and its done formally and informally using also the linear objects. The garden was divided into three units on the southern side: The symetrical garden, space for holding an accompanying events and park. The space on the northern side was divided for parking of the employees of Bioveta and parking for visiters of the Chateau. The garden is opened for public and new connection between north-west and south entrances was made.

The subject of the thesis is to analyze the current legal framework for protection of cultural monuments. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part deals with concepts, development of conservation in our country, the organizational structure of the state monument care, individual institutes for protection of cultural and national cultural heritage in our state, conservation funding and the problems associated with it. Gaps of current legislation are pointed out in the chapters. In the practical part I apply gathered knowledge to specific national monument, the old wastewater treatment plant in Bubeneč.

The aim of this master’s thesis is to create an architectural study of restoration and renewal of the Ivanovice na Hané chateau and a proposal of a rearrangement of the adjacent park. The chateau is currently owned by the Bioveta company and is not utilized in any meaningful way. The proposed concept arises from the requirements and initiatives of the current owner, who wishes to revitalize the area and transform it into a presentable seat of the company. The design is based on constructional-historical research and other analyses to maximize the preservation of the object’s historical values along with fulfilling the client’s needs and enriching the social life of the community.

The paper determines the general definition of cultural monuments, its legislative, and institutional framework and sources of financing. General knowledge is applied in actually applying for financing for renewal of cultural sight - the castle in Mladá Vožice. Financial sources for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of cultural heritage outside the owner's own funds can be drawn from public funds of the state budget, budgets of territorial-administrative units, or from foreign sources. Other options are the collections and yields from the economic use of the building. For withdrawal of funds is necessary to determine the purpose which the monument is used for. This is closely related to the amount of funds needed for the rehabilitation and reconstruction.

This diploma thesis deals with the proposal of restoration and revitalization of a listed renaissance chateau with its adjacent park in the center of Ivanovice na Hane. When conducting the architectural study, it was necessary to analyze and take into account the cultural and historical values of the chateau and its immediate surroundings, constructional and technical condition, public services in the area, and the requirements of the owner of the building and lands. The proposed concept comprehensively integrates the needs and specifications of the pharmaceutical company Bioveta with high-quality public spaces as well as relaxation areas for residents.

This thesis analyzes the possibilities of financing the rehabilitation and maintenance of historical buildings in the Czech Republic with the practical application of the city Vimperk. The theoretical part discusses the importance of cultural heritage and the preservation of monuments, including its legislation and the manner of its organization. Various options for financing of survival sights both from domestic and foreign sources are discussed in detail. First the South Bohemian town Vimperk is introduced with monuments in its territorial jurisdiction in the practical part. Furthermore, this part approaches the system of the performance of local public administration and system for implementing conservation at the level of the city and South Region. A large space is devoted to the analysis and evaluation of sources of funding utilized conservation in this city, there are also recommended other appropriate support options. The subsidy programs of the South Bohemian Region, the Ministry of Culture, European and other foreign funds are mentioned. The amount of tables and graphs are added especially in this part for the better illustration. Information needed for the development of this work were obtained from the literature, Internet resources and personal consultations at the municipal office Vimperk and ROP Southwest.

This masters thesis examines the role and involvement of cultural objects in the world today. Its aim is to assess the possible solutions recovery and use of immovable monuments. The thesis is determined by the general definition of cultural monuments, its legislative and institutional framework, the use and sources of funding. Following practical part deals with the previous themes in the context of the particular immovable monument, the monastery of St. Francis of Assisi in Votice. It is a sacred monument of regional significance. The outcome of this masters thesis is to determine the optimal solution of the usage of the monument with an emphasis on preserving its value.

Prague homesteads (agricultural or farm buildings, later summer houses and mansions, manufactories or villas) have become a part of the City of Prague during the urban development, or have been destroyed. Nowadays, still preserved homesteads are significant historical monuments, but also landmarks of the urban landscape and the important source of local identity, and therefore worthy of conservation. Nevertheless, it is crucial to find their modern utilization and to maintain their cultural-historical values. The aim of this master's thesis is to sum up possibilities of renovation and utilization of poorly maintained Prague homesteads and to formulate recommendations to owners, investors and other people participating in animation process of these buildings based on the analysis of examples of still renovated Prague homesteads.

This master thesis is focused on analysis of management of Jihočeský region, especially regional development funding, renovation of cultural monuments and country development. In analysis of region's management and funding in 2000 -- 2013 period I work with closing accounts. You can see the growing trend of incomes and expenses of this region. At the start of this examining period of time total expenses are greater than incomes. Next chapter is about given grants for regional development, when the highest numbers are always grants for country development. In the last chapter I focus on renovation of cultural monuments in Jihočeský region 2011 -- 2013 period, when the highest numbers are grants for renovation of cultural real-estates.

The aim of the thesis is a description and characterization of the most important impacts and effects which are associated with the renewal of monument. The renewal has a huge impact on the monument itself. It is a way how to preserve the existence of monument for the future. When the monument is integrated again into a contemporary community, it brings new economic benefits which give the monument a new sense of being and give it the chance to be conserved and protected for next generations. This new economic role of the monument has to be considered only with the respect to its historical and artistic value. The existence of monument affects also its surroundings in many ways. Monument has an obvious impact on landscape, the view of horizon and also influences the quality of life of people living in the vicinity. Monument can enrich leisure time of local people or turists. It can be also the key factor for developing of tourism, incoming investments and prosperity of this locality. Monument could not be considered in isolation of its surroundings because it creates together a complex which influences the monument, and on the other hand, which is influenced by the monument.

The master‘s thesis „Mountain chalet“ is elaborated as a project documentation containing all the properties in compliance with valid regulations. The aim of the thesis is the proposal of new objects on the site of the former chalet called Peterbaude in the city Špindlerův Mlýn, on the building estate numer 85/1. The original chalet was on the list of cultural monuments. The architectural solution for the renewall of chalet is assigned by requirements of NPÚ. The documentation of two new objects and reconstruction of existing object are aleborated in the master‘s thesis. The work also comprises thermal technical assessment, dispositional design and specialization work.

New owners often don't share the positive approach to the industrial heritage, developers are seeking new sites, cities and inhabitants have developed new needs through the time. The work will demonstrate examples within European context and will make recommendations in monitoring and classification of industrial heritage to prevent undo able losses.

The master thesis focuses on the theme of restoration of historic gardens. It defines basic terms related to the issue of restoration of landscape architecture. The work specifies the functions of greenery in urban places and focuses on the changing function of historical areas in the present. As part of the work there was done a survey of the area of Hradisko Monastery in Olomouc and there were identified conflicts and problems. These problems are solved in the concept study of the surroundings of the monastery. In includes a proposal of traffic, program and composition of the area. The work then focuses on a proposal of restoration of the abbey garden. It divides the garden into two parts. One part is opened for public for leisure time; the other is designed as a therapeutic garden for hospital patients.

This work aims are to practical verify all the components of pre-project documentation when solving the pre-project preparation in the model object of Vojan's orchards in Prague. The Structural-historical research by Macek, (2001) was chosen as a default methodology. The next part of the work evaluates similar, already reconstructed places in Czech Republic and also abroad. These places are: Franciscan Garden in Prague, Herb garden in Valtice and community garden in Schönbrunn in Vienna. The final goal of this work is to evaluate the individual analysis of pre-project documentation and based on the results determine the concept of development of the model object.

This diploma theses focuses on public space restoration. The model object for this theses is the chateau area in Ždár nad Sázavou. The thesis "Restoration of public space" creates a conceptual solution for the landmark of the garden art. The model object is the chateau complex in Ždár nad Sázavou. In the theore-tical part, specialized terms are defined for a better understanding of the given issue. The issue of green areas's restoration and specifics for its maintaining and development are also defined. Based on the scientific literature, the concept of the restoration is proposed. The analytical part is focused on field surveys's realization and its subsequent evaluati-on. The current state of the model territory was assessed for the needs of the proposal and created on the basis of green's passport and dendrological survey data. On the basis of collec-ted data the cultivation measures and the overall of vegetation elements's care in the chateau were proposed. In order to achieve the main aim of the thesis, conceptual solutions of individual areas of the chateau area were proposed. The assessment of the cost for the overall restoration is included. Furthermore, the project documentation, which should be proceeded during restoration, is elaborated. The compositional solution of contemporary space respects the requirements of nowadays and preserves the values of this place.

This thesis deals with cultural sights reconstruction, particularly of sacral character, in villages of Český Krumlov district - in a region formerly inhabited by German population. The introductory parts focus on the development of Czech-German co-existence in Czech lands with its historical chapters, as well as on the impact of the 1939‑1989 events on cultural sights condition in the Czech borderland, particularly in the region of Český Krumlov. The following part is dedicated to history and mainly to the reconstruction of these sights. These reconstructions are a common venture of a cross-border cooperation of Czechs with expatriated German compatriots. The final part of the thesis is enriched by brief biographies of significant people who have bonds to this region.

Founding and Development of the Town of Jemnice; the Town's Cultural Heritage Protection PhDr. Martina Indrová THESIS ABSTRACT Jemnice, a smaller town with approximately five thousand inhabitants, lies near the border encountering of three historic lands - Bohemia, Moravia and Austria. Similar to places of this sort, this fact influenced strongly its appearance and the life within the town walls. We are poorly informed about the foundation of this town. In recent years, Jemnice however attracted the attention of experts; so the new fragments can be added to the mosaic of the town history. There were more reasons why Jemnice stayed away from the main interest of researchers. The most influencing circumstance appeared after World War II, when, for its location near the Austrian frontier, Jemnice found itself at the edge of a new border area. That fact of the matter substantially limited and delayed the town forwarding. The source basis for the history of Jemnice demands very careful and critical attitude. The so called Boček forgeries influenced expert opinions on the beginnings of the town for a long time. In 1832, the town suffered fire damage that destroyed not only many architectural monuments, but also most of old municipal books and documents. v anglickém jazyce The purpose of the thesis is a cultural heritage management of the small baroque sacral buildings, which has passed unnoticed for a longer period of time. As a model region is chosen the district Ceska Lipa. First, in this thesis is briefly summarized the history of district Ceska Lipa since the 18th century. Then the thesis describes various factors which have had an influence on the local monuments. Particularly the regional factors which are responsible for the heritage damage and also the conditions and institutions participating in the heritage preservation and documentation. Next, the overview of typology and terminology of a small sacral architecture is also covered. The major part of this thesis is a catalogue of explored monuments in different villages or small towns including the village/ town history and the art historic establishment of the monuments. This part is also focused on the documentation and comments of the current preservation of each building. The recommendation of preservation is proposed herein as a potential way of monument restoration. Finally, the research outcomes are discussed with regard to a possible management and future exploring.
