Abstract:
Entrepreneurship scholars have identified factors that frame the entrepreneurial process, such as the gender, race, ethnicity and wealth of entrepreneurs, the technological nature of the products or services offered, or the geographic location of ventures. Ventures bridging profit and service goals in new and creative ways are mushrooming. Building on a review of current research, the author speculates that "bridging profit and service" should be added to the list of factors that define the entrepreneurial process. In doing so, she calls for caution when extending to social entrepreneurial ventures' findings on research regarding business ventures, and for more research exploring the impact of this factor on the entrepreneurial process.

Abstract:
The article builds a framework for interactive value formation (IVF) in interorganizational relationships. The framework describes IVF as interplay between resource integration and a multilevel service system, which manifests in interaction episodes accumulating into a relationship. The interplay generates outcomes in which the actors are better off (co-creation), worse off (co-destruction), or indifferent (no-creation) to value gained. The framework is demonstrated in an empirical case of a cultural sponsorship relationship where the co-destructive and no-creative interaction episodes dominated co-creative instances, finally accumulating into a relationship outcome of value no-creation for both parties. The framework and the launched novel conceptualization of value no-creation contribute to the research on service systems, resource integration for value, and failure in value co-creation. The research on failure in value co-creation, that is, value co-destruction, is scant. This article further elaborates this research stream and bridges to the research on co-creation.

Abstract:
Perhaps there is no better time to reflect on the new creation than now, amid the Covid-19 pandemic. All aspects of human life are being impacted by the pandemic, not to mention the danger of death that it generates. This critical situation brings out legitimate questions to the current state of the world (or creation): whether it is perishing, being abandoned by God, or whether God is punishing the world into destruction due to its abundance of sin. Attempting to answer those questions, the author will argue alongside Kuyper and Bavinck that God would never abandon nor destroy his creation. Even though corrupted by sin, God has no intention to destroy the creation; instead, he intends to restore it according to his original plan. God’s intention is not just to redeem the elect but to redeem the whole creation, and that complete redemption will find its fulfillment in the new creation. Such a reflection would encourage the Christian proclamation that God’s salvation extends to all creation.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to comprehending the creative cooperation of the outstanding Victorians Ch. Dickens and W. Collins, who were co-authors for a decade and a half, as well as to the study of the peculiarities of the novel “No Exit”, which was not republished in Russia from the end of the 19th century until 2021 and was virtually unknown to the Russian-speaking reader. The relevance of the article is due to the need to build a coherent and consistent history of the development of English literature of the Victorian epoch in the domestic literary consciousness, an important part of which is the legacy of its masters, as well as the elimination of gaps in the creative biography of the largest figures of Victorianism. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that for the first time in Russian English studies a gap in the reception of the creative tandem of Ch. Dickens and W. Collins has been filled: the key studies of their heritage have been comprehended; the history of their creative union has been studied; the novel “No Exit” in the context of the creative biography of Ch. Dickens and W. Collins was analyzed; the features of the generic (interweaving of epic and dramatic elements) and genre synthesis (combination of gothic, detective, adventure beginning) of the novel are revealed. The authors of the article used comparative historical, biographical, sociocultural methods, as well as the method of holistic analysis of a work of art.

Abstract:
Co-creation has received increasing interest as a way of develop products and services in collaboration with customers and clients. Recently, co-creation has been introduced in higher education; however, there is no general agreement about what this entails, and while the concept of co-creation has been used in a number of differing contexts, descriptions tend to focus on potentials only and not the tensions inherent in this kind of collaboration. In this paper we describe a conceptual model for co-creation with students and explore the potentials as well as the tensions inherent in co-creation with students at academic libraries. Through a case study at The Royal Danish Library, Aarhus University Library we develop a conceptual model for co-creation with students that identifies the key aspects of co-creation with students and indicates its key potentials and tensions.

Abstract:
Ghana recently created six new regions, amid controversy over who was entitled to vote in the region-creating referenda and its likely economic consequences. The Supreme Court declined jurisdiction to address the suffrage controversy, paving the way for voters in only the specified areas of the affected regions to vote for creating the regions. This article evaluates the Court's reasons for declining jurisdiction and the arguments made to support the creation of the regions. It concludes that there is merit in the claim that all voters in the affected regions should have participated in the referenda and raises substantial doubts about the arguments in favour of creating the regions. It also concludes that creating new regions gives the semblance of increased decentralisation but only results in deconcentration, hence more centralisation. The exercise continues the post-independence drift from regional power-sharing to fragmented powerless regions. Since the resulting fragmentation of the country provides no clear benefits but imposes certain costs, the article suggests either a constitutional amendment or statutory reforms to raise the bar for creating new regions.

We show that in the isentropic scenario, the first-order thermodynamical particle creation model gives an emergent universe solution even when the chemical potential is nonzero. However, there exists no emergent universe scenario in the second-order non-equilibrium theory for the particle creation model. We then point out a correspondence between the particle creation model with barotropic equation of state and the equation of state giving rise to an emergent universe without particle creation in spatially flat FRW cosmology.

Abstract:
This study is intended to determine the effects of system management on value creation and global growth in born startups. To achieve this, a survey was empirically carried out on 300 owners in born startups with less than five years’ experience. The findings are as follows. First, entrepreneurship, operation system, and support system as sub-variables of system management have a positive effect on value creation. Second, entrepreneurship and operating system have no significant effect on global growth, but the support system has a significant effect on global growth. Third, value creation has no significant mediating effect on global growth, which means that owners’ entrepreneurship can boost value creation as a corporate systematic operation when they have globally-oriented thinking, relationships through global network organization, the expertise of business, and some level of capital. In particular, their capability and expertise can be drivers to enter early global growth companies through value creation. Consequently, for the early value creation and global growth of born startups, they should recognize that system operation and value creation-oriented corporate global experience, due to their entrepreneurship as international companies under global market orientation, are key variables affecting a global born startup, and thus reflect them in management.

Abstract:
In this work, we present an experimental study of the reduction of NO and the creation of NO2 by positive corona discharge in N2/O2 mixture (95% N2, 5%O2), where 200ppm of NO are injected at atmospheric pressure. The corona discharge was generated using a wire- to- cylinder reactor. The applied voltage is 5kV and 7 kV and it was maintained for  50 minutes. Ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy operating in the wavelength range 190-330 nm was used to identify the species and quantify their concentration, According to Beer Lambert law who give concentration from absorbance. The temperature was maintained constant for 300K. The obtained resultant show nitrous oxide NO has been destroyed with the augmenta¬tion of corona current. We note different times to NO removal, 50 minutes at 5 kV and 20 minutes at 7 kV. And we observe the creation of NO2 and the apparition of ozone O3.

Abstract:
Although the budgeting literature well documents managers' creation of budgetary slack in developed economies, lack of attention has been paid to this behaviour in emerging economies. It is doubtful that some unique characteristics, only existing in emerging economies, cause this behaviour to be different than the budgeting literature predicts. Since there is no study examining managers' creation of budgetary slack in emerging economies, such as Vietnam, to get insight into whether or not these characteristics cause the differences, the aim of this study is to replicate prior budgeting studies by using Vietnamese samples. Particularly, we investigated the impact of budgetary participation, budget emphasis, information asymmetry, and the interactions between these variables on managers' creation of budgetary slack. Data obtained from the questionnaire sent to 99 Vietnamese managers shows that the last two variables and the interaction between them induce managers' creation of budgetary slack. However, the results also indicate that the first variable and the interaction between this variable and the other two variables respectively have no impact on managers' creation of budgetary slack. These results provide some insight into the creation of budgetary slack of Vietnamese managers for future studies to extend the line of research.

Abstract:
With the development of this study, it was intended to verify and contextualize a new European reality in the domains of promotion and diffusion of artists and performances, with impact, at the creation level. The new orientations towards the transnational perspective lead to a trend to create networks and partnerships, but what is the role of networks today? By bibliographical compilation, it was intended to gather the necessary information for the understanding of the state of art from artistic creation to public space. Keywords: Outdoor arts. Abstract:
Jobs are the pillars of the economy and aggregate expenditure is among the key factor used to create an employment stimulating environment. This study scrutinizes the relationship between the component of aggregate expenditure and job creation in South Africa form 1995 to 2014. The Vector Autoregressive (VAR) model and multivariate co-integration approach were employed to examine how household consumption, government, investment and export expenditures affect job creation in South Africa. Findings of this study revealed that there is long-run relationship between aggregate expenditure and job creation with government and investment expenditure being the key determinants of job creation in South Africa. Contrary to priori expectation, consumption and exports do not improve jobs creation in South Africa. In the short-run, there are no significant interactions between components of aggregate expenditure and job creation. This study provided recommendation that may assist in boosting job creation in South Africa.

Abstract:
T. F. Torrance’s Christocentric doctrine of Creation prioritises the Father-Son relation as the objective basis of the knowledge of creation. However, Torrance’s approach to the doctrine of creation has not satisfactorily applied core insights from his broader theological method. Specifically, Torrance’s conviction that the union of God and humanity in the person of Jesus Christ articulated in the conceptual structure of the hypostatic union is normative over all other doctrines that have to do with the relationship of God and creation makes no impact on his doctrine of creation. This essay re-envisions Torrance’s Christocentric doctrine of creation by extending the focus from the Father-Son relation to the person of the Son and establishes how the conceptual structure of the hypostatic union articulated through the couplet of anhypostasia and enhypostasia may be employed as a Christological structure within which to conceive of the relationship of God and creation.

Abstract:
Purpose Islamic banks have significantly different balance sheets from their conventional counterparts, leading to different implications in relation to liquidity creation compared to conventional banks. This work, first, investigates the liquidity creation of conventional and Islamic banks in Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) countries between 2011 and 2016. It then tests the relationship between liquidity creation and performance of these banks. Design/methodology/approach It uses the data of 491 commercial banks across 18 MENA countries between 2011 and 2016. The analysis is based on panel data techniques. Findings The banks created US$18.596 trillion of liquidity, about 28.4% of total assets. Conventional banks created more liquidity compared with Islamic banks. Nevertheless, Islamic banks created more liquidity per asset compared with conventional banks. The regression analysis revealed a significant and negative correlation between liquidity creation and performance of the banks using return on average equity (ROAE) measure. However, no significant relationship is observed between liquidity creation and return on average assets (ROAA) of MENA banks. Moreover, there is no difference between Islamic and conventional banks in the relation between liquidity creation and bank performance. Research limitations/implications The data are limited to the period 2011-2016; the period of this study was selected based on yearly data availability from the data source. Accounting measures were used to study the effect of liquidity creation on bank profitability, and the market-based measures were excluded, as there is no uniform sources in these countries that can be used to collect market-based data. Practical implications Bank managers must reach a trade-off between the advantages and disadvantages of liquidity creation, as well as consider the negative relationship between liquidity creation and bank performance when making their decisions. Originality/value First, to the best of the authors’ knowledge, this work is the first to analyse the relationship between the liquidity creation and performance of conventional and Islamic banks in MENA. Second, this study uses a sample of Islamic and conventional banks in MENA that have detailed information on the Orbis Bank Focus dataset, which is the most comprehensive database of commercial banks in the MENA region.

Abstract:
Purpose This study aims to test a theoretical model of co-creation dynamics, service innovation and competitive advantage. The authors explore the dynamics of collaboration between travel agents and their suppliers in co-creating value for their customers. A research model is proposed to examine the relationship among six co-creation elements (co-creation dynamics), service innovation, competitive advantage and two antecedents: technology adoption and environmental change and the moderating effects of trust. Design/methodology/approach An empirical survey was performed based on travel agencies in Taiwan and Malaysia. A total of 105 valid responses from Taiwan and 102 valid responses from Malaysia were received. SPSS and partial least square were used to analyze the data. Findings A new six-element construct of co-creation dynamics was suggested. All the proposed effects were found significant in which trust enhanced the effect of elements of innovation for Taiwan travel agencies. However, in contrast to the proposed hypotheses, technology adoption had no direct effect, whereas trust had no moderating effect for Malaysia travel agencies. Practical implications This study suggests that managers should include co-creation approaches with partners and customers while developing new services. The identification of areas that may be lacking can allow managers to develop capabilities to improve business co-creation competency. Originality/value This study links the relational view with service-dominant logic that emphasizes business co-creation and service innovation as operant resources and a key fundamental source for competitive advantage. This study also looks at interpreting business co-creation and discusses whether business co-creation affects service innovation in the hospitality and tourism industry.
