Abstract:
Fornax A (NGC 1316) is a radio galaxy with prototypical double lobes. Feigelson et al. (1995 ApJ 449, L149) and Kaneda et al. (1995 ApJ 454, L13) detected inverse Compton X-rays for the first time from its radio lobes, and unambiguously derived the lobe magnetic field intensity of 2-4 μG. Accordingly, the radio-emitting electrons in the lobes are inferred to have a Lorentz factor of 104, and hence a synchrotron life time of ~108 yr. This means that Fornax A was highly active at least 108 years ago.

Abstract:
Context. The coeval stars of young open clusters provide insights into the formation of the rotation-activity relationship that elude studies of multi-age field populations. Aims. We measure the chromospheric activity of cool stars in the 300 Myr old open cluster NGC 3532 in concert with their rotation periods to study the mass-dependent morphology of activity for this transitional coeval population. Methods. Using multi-object spectra of the Ca II infrared triplet region obtained with the AAOmega spectrograph at the 4 m Anglo-Australian Telescope, we measure the chromospheric emission ratios RIRT′ for 454 FGKM cluster members of NGC 3532. Results. The morphology of activity against colour appears to be a near-mirror image of the cluster’s rotational behaviour. In particular, we identify a group of ‘desaturated transitional rotators’ that branches off from the main group of unsaturated FGK slow rotators, and from which it is separated by an ‘activity gap’. The few desaturated gap stars are identical to the ones in the rotational gap. Nevertheless, the rotation-activity diagram is completely normal. In fact, the relationship is so tight that it allows us to predict rotation periods for many additional stars. We then precisely determine these periods from our photometric light curves, allowing us to construct an enhanced colour-period diagram that represents 66% of the members in our sample. Our activity measurements show that all fast rotators of near-solar mass (F-G type) have evolved to become slow rotators, demonstrating that the absence of fast rotators in a colour-period diagram is not a detection issue but an astrophysical fact. We also identify a new population of low-activity stars among the early M dwarfs, enabling us to populate the extended slow rotator sequence in the colour-period diagram. Conclusions. The joint analysis of chromospheric activity and photometric time series data thus enables comprehensive insights into the evolution of the rotation and activity of stars during the transitional phase between the Pleiades and Hyades ages.

Two objects: NGC 4254 and NGC 3627 possess perturbed spiral structures while two others, NGC 3521 and NGC 5055 are flocculent objects, lacking organized spiral patterns. NGC 3521 possesses also a peculiar dust lane. For NGC 4254, NGC 3627 and NGC 5055 deep polarization maps were made, for NGC 3521 the total power data only were analyzed (see Urbanik et al. 1989).

We study the radial profiles of radio comtinuum (RC) and far-infrared (FIR) emissions and also the gas to dust ratio for a sample of 22 spiral galaxies. For this, we use the data from IRAS HiRES FIR maps, available VLA 20 cm maps and radial profile data available on neutral hydrogen (H) and molecular hydrogen (H2, derived from velocity integrated CO intensity). In order to have enough resolution with the 1-1.5 arcminute IRAS beam, the galaxies chosen were large sized and had a 60 μm flux density of more than 5 Jy. The sample consists of: NGC 628, NGC 2403, NGC 2841, NGC 2903, NGC 3079, NGC 3198, NGC 3627, NGC 3628, NGC 4192, NGC 4254, NGC 4303, NGC 4321, NGC 4501, NGC 4535, NGC 4569, NGC 4656, NGC 4736, NGC 5033, NGC 5055, NGC 6503, NGC 6946 and NGC 7331. For 13 of these galaxies information is also available on metallicity (z) and V band CCD maps.

AbstractSome elliptical galaxies possess an extended gaseous disk which is usually detected from Hα and [Nil] emission. 3-D ”Cigale” observations of two of these objects, NGC 1052 and NGC 404, show the evidence of peculiar dynamics a nd in one case multiple profiles of faint extended gas which are probably from different origins. In NGC 1052, the decoupled kinematics of the gas and the stellar systems favors the hypothesis of an external origin of the interstellar matter, while in NGC 404, coherence of the stars and gas axis, as well as the low gas velocity dispersion favors an inner origin of the gas from the stars themselves.

Abstract:
We present a bi-dimensional Fourier analysis of near-infrared images of KPG 404 (NGC 5394/95). The 2D Fourier analysis shows that NGC 5394 is a H2β galaxy in the DP classification (Block & Puerari 1999). In contrast, NGC 5395 displays a very complex structure which needs a number of Fourier coefficients to be explained. A tightly wound m = 1 (DP class H1α) is the main structure, but other m = 1 and m = 2 coefficients (suggesting spiral arm modulation) are also present in the Fourier spectra. The complex structure of NGC 5395 also suggests a strong interaction in the pair. The m = 1 coefficients can represent a pseudo ring-type structure, resulting of a collision rather than a grazing passage. We conclude that the most probable scenario of the interaction in this pair should take into account a crossing of NGC 5394 through the disk of NGC 5395.

Abstract:
Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) are among the most energetic sources in the Universe, and they are observed in about 10-20% of the galaxies in the local Universe. Their energy generation mechanism is accretion of matter on a central Supermassive Black Hole (SMBH). According to the most accredited paradigm, the Unified Model (UM), the SMBH is surrounded by an anisotropic uniform absorber of gas and dust, with a toroidal geometry, extending from 1 pc to 100 pc. Even if on a basic level the UM is correct, the need for alternative models was highlighted by the detection of several dishomogeneous absorbers, located at different distances from the SMBH, and at different physical states. Among the arguments in conflict with the UM there is the variability often observed in the X-ray spectra of AGN. When not resultant from an intrinsic variation of the nuclear emission, it implies that the underlying absorber is clumpy and not uniform. Many studies also showed that, besides being clumpy, the absorbing material is not always completely neutral. Significant amounts of outflowing partially-ionized material have been detected in about ∼50% of Type 1 AGN. These ionized absorbers are called “warm absorbers” and have outflow velocities in the range ∼100−1000 km/s. Furthermore, highly ionized absorbers with high outflow velocities (vout>3000 km/s, “ultrafast outflows”) have been observed. This thesis focuses on observations of absorption variability in the X-ray spectra of AGN, as a useful “tool” to test the size, structure and composition of the circumnuclear medium. In detail, I analysed the X-ray spectra of two AGN, NGC 454E and Mrk 348, for which X-ray data from Swift-BAT, Suzaku and XMM-Newton were available. NGC 454E is a red elliptical Seyfert galaxy in an interacting system, at z=0.0122. When comparing the Suzaku and XMM-Newton spectra, observed with 6 months delay, I noticed a dramatic change in the spectral curvature between 3 keV and 6 keV. The origin of the variability was due to a strong change of the column density of a neutral absorber, that allowed to classify NGC 454E as a “changing-look AGN”. Moreover, the XMM-Newton spectrum showed clear signatures of the presence of an ionised absorber, absent during Suzaku observation. An upper limit on its distance was inferred to be ∼0.001 pc. Mrk 348 is a bright Compton-thin Seyfert 2 galaxy at z=0.015. I found that its spectrum is characterized by three different absorbers, one neutral and two ionised, with different densities and ionisation states, but with approximately the same outflow velocity (∼0.05c). The distances of the ionised absorbers from the central emitting region are likely to be different, indeed the upper limits I find are 0.026 pc for the highly ionised absorber, and 2.72 pc for the mildly ionised one. A variation of the column density is present also for Mrk 348, both for the neutral absorber and for the mildly ionized. Both these studies are a step forwards in the definition of an alternative model to the UM, for which more and more evidences are being collected, denoting that the absorbing material is composed by multiple absorbers at different distances, densities and ionization states.

Lippia alba, popularly known as erva cidreira, is widely distributed throughout the Americas and can be found through almost whole Brazil. This species is largely used in folk medicine to treat gastrointestinal and respiratory problems, especially leaves, which produce an essential oil rich in terpenes, mainly mono-and sesquiterpenes. These compounds are not only of pharmacological interest, as well as industrial. Composition of essencial oil can vary depending on the developmental stage, the plant part and other abiotic factors. However, genotypic variations also contribute to oil composition variation. Given the complexity of terpenes synthesis, including diversity of enzymes involved in these metabolic pathways, the purpose of this work was a L. alba leaf transcriptome characterization, in addition to identifying some enzymes probably involved in terpene synthesis. For that, it was made a transcriptome sequencing using 454 platform (Roche) followed by a de novo assembly. This platform, along with other NGS technologies, has been increasingly used for transcriptome sequencing in an approach known as RNA-Seq. Sequencing of a library prepared from total RNA in 1/8 plate generated 104,631 reads with average length of 184.48 bp and a total of 19,302,161 bases. Read assemblies were made using two different assemblers in order to compare them. While Newbler 2.5, proprietary software platform, assembled 2686 contigs with average length of 349bp, SeqMan2.2 generated 13,448 contigs with an average of 284bp. Then, functional annotation was performed with Blast2GO for all contigs from both assemblies; 51.49% and 30.88% of contigs, respectively, from Newbler and SeqMan were annotated. Finally, analysis of annotated sequences revealed some enzymes potentially involved in terpene synthesis. Results obtained from this pioneering study on the species show that NGS technology can be a very efficient tool for transcriptome sequencing and they will serve as reference for preparation of other more specific libraries. New sequencings should contribute to a better coverage of this transcriptome, allowing discovery of even rare transcripts.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Civil organisations play a key intermediary role in the middle layer between high- level policies and individual-level outcomes in international development. By triangulating among seven Chinese HIV civil organisations with varying organisational models, I examine intermediary activity that illuminates the mechanisms by which civil organisations operate and extends theory about organisations and civil society. Development studies research can benefit from multi-level analyses of organisational processes, which provide insight into how civil organisations shape institutions and networks. My case studies show several new mechanisms that enable organisations to survive and operate in politically fraught conditions, and they offer insight into the complex interactions that allow civil organisations to operate in such contexts. First, HIV civil organisations manage associative stigma resultant from their core activities. I observe that market relationships can buffer against associative stigma transfer for organisations, with many leaders re-positioning their organisations relative to stigmatised individuals, recasting them as employees, customers, and users rather than constituents. Second, these groups use hybrid organising to better manage political risks and build partnerships through selective coupling of organisational components. Hybrid strategies can provide resilience to threats and improve resource management in institutionally plural environments. Third, HIV civil organisations engage in detached, informal, and interactive collaboration with state actors, enabling greater autonomy and innovation among civil actors and reducing risk for state actors. I trace interactions between these strategic activities at the levels of organisational activities, structures, and networks, finding that reproducing ambiguity can sustain new types of collaborations. These findings suggest a need to reconsider the role civil organisations play in society, calling attention to organisational processes that allow these actors agency in brokering flows of information and shaping formation of networks. By viewing civil organisations as intermediaries, new directions can be identified for development policy and practice.

This thesis is part of a current concern and high interest research field, which is the development of new photoactive complexes using abundant metals to replace noble metals in renewable energy devices. Novel families of potential sensitizers for DSSC (Dye-sensitized solar cells) based on iron and tridentate pyridyl-carbene ligands (FeNHC) have been prepared and characterized. The aim, besides the application aspect for energy, is to increase the understanding of the structure-property relationships in Fe-NHC homoleptic complexes carrying pyridyl-bisimidazolylidene ligands by modification of the central core, anchoring group and coordination geometry. Once synthesized, the complexes were submitted to various photophysical, electrochemical and theoretical characterizations. A new MLCT excited state lifetime record was obtained with a pyrazine-based complexes (32 ps). The geometric optimization, which means the design of ligands to obtain an ideal octahedral coordination geometry to induce a strong ligand field was studied. X-ray diffraction measurements attested that the desired complexes were obtained by increasing the distance between the pyridine core and the lateral carbenes. This modification induces a bathochromic shift, but the electronic conjugation as well as the rigidity of the complexes remain to be optimized further. We have also developed a novel synthetic route for introducing Π-extended anchoring groups in order to limit the charge recombination after the injection into the TiO2 semiconductor. The efficiency of the DSSC cells was optimized by the incorporation of a new MgI2 additive in the electrolyte composition which led to an unprecedented efficiency of 0.5% for an iron complex. Finally, this thesis offers new synthetic tools for the design of FeII-NHC complexes with extended excited state lifetimes and represents a further step in the understanding of the photophysical processes operated within this type of iron complexes

Ustuntepe, Bulent. "A Novel Two-parameter Modulation And Neutral Point Potential Control Method For The Three-level Neutral Point Clamped Inverter." Master's thesis, METU, 2005. http://etd.lib.metu.edu.tr/upload/12606928/index.pdf.

Abstract:
In this thesis, the neutral point potential drift/fluctuation of the three-level neutral point clamped inverter is analyzed and a novel control algorithm, the two-parameter PWM method is proposed to confine the neutral point potential variation to a very small range. The two-parameter PWM method provides superior neutral point potential control performance even with small DC bus capacitors. The method is based on PWM pulse pattern modification and requires no additional hardware. Detailed analytical models of the neutral point current and potential as a function of the modulation parameters are established and the neutral point potential behavior is thoroughly investigated. Based on the study, the deficiency of the known methods is illustrated and the two-parameter PWM method is developed and its superior performance demonstrated. The performance of the two-parameter PWM method is verified by means of computer simulations utilizing both the per-PWM-cycle average model and the detailed model of the inverter. The results are supported by laboratory experiments involving both an R-L load and an induction motor drive.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: Particulate matter (PM) exposure has been linked to the exacerbation of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions as well as to adverse effects on fetal growth. To link the cross-talk that might occur between respiratory system and placenta after PM exposure, it has been proposed a novel mechanism of cell to cell communication mediated by extracellular vesicles (EVs). EVs are involved in both biological and pathological processes including pregnancy state. As PM interacts firstly with the nares, bacterial nasal microbiota (bNM) is one of the first compartments hit by PM exposure. This interaction might lead to structural and functional modifications within the bNM, which could cause variations within the EVs signaling network, which might lead to an improper immune response to PM stimuli. AIM: The main aim of the project was to identify how PM exposure might modify the homeostasis and composition of whole EV signaling network and bNM and the leading to a possible impact on newborn development. Subject recruitment: 518 volunteer pregnant women were enrolled during the 11th week of pregnancy at the ‘Clinica Mangiagalli’-Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda – Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Milan, Italy. Among them, a group of subjects composed by 65 pregnant women, who agreed to participate to a more complex study protocol, was also identified. Exposure assessment, EV and Microbiota measurement: Exposure to PM concentrations was assessed using data obtained from FARM models for the whole population. In addition, individual exposure to short-term PM levels was retrieved through a personal sampler worn by the subgroup of 65 pregnant women. Plasmatic concentration and cellular origin of EVs were characterized by Nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA) and flow cytometry, respectively. We investigated the bNM structure and characteristics of 65 pregnant women both at the enrolment (T0) and the following Monday during the cardiovascular screening (T1) through metabarcoding analysis of the V3–V4 regions of the 16s rRNA gene. Statistical analysis: Multivariable linear regression models were applied to test the associations between PM exposure (retrieved from both FARM models and personal sampler) and the majority of the collected outcomes such as maternal, foetal/newborns, and cardiovascular parameters as well as for bNM data. On the other hand, to evaluate possible associations between PM concentrations and EV characteristics negative binomial regression models for count data with over-dispersion were performed. In addition, multiple comparison method based on Benjamini-Hochberg False Discovery Rate (FDR) were applied for high number of comparisons. RESULTS In the whole population, PM10 exposure (measured at different time windows) resulted in decreased release of total amount of EVs, with the strongest effect related to concentration measured 13 weeks before the enrolment (13wks), whereas an inverse tendency was observed for exposure to PM2.5, although these associations were not significant. More reliable data on the finest fractions (PM1, PM2.5 and PM4) are given by personal sampler worn by a subgroup of women for a very short time period preceding the blood drawing (1.5 hours). As we considered this extremely acute effect, we observed a generalized increment in the EV count. Noteworthy, among the different analyzed EV subtypes, the levels of HERV-w+ EVs were the only to be increased by each tested PM10 time-lag. The same models applied on bNM data showed a reduction in terms of diversity (Shannon/Faith_pd ratio) and relative abundance of the genera Corynebacterium spp. and Staphylococcus spp. In addition, when the possible role of bNM as effect modifier between PM exposure and EVs release was investigated, we observed for the pregnant women with a balanced bNM an increment in terms of circulating EVs after daily PM stimuli. Moreover, increments of the heart rate values were observed after exposure to both PM10 and PM2.5 levels measured the day before the cardiovascular screening (Day -1). Focusing on newborn’s outcomes, decrements of the gestational age at birth were associated to PM concentrations measured throughout the gestation or during the 2nd trimester. CONCLUSIONS: To our knowledge, this is the first exploring the role of bNM and the EV cross-talk in determining the effects of PM exposure levels on healthy pregnancies as well as on newborn outcomes. The results obtained so far might suggest a possible role exerted by both EV concentration and the bNM in pregnant women in mediating the effects of PM exposure.

Abstract:
AbstractIndia’s coal contribution to the total electricity generation mix stood at 73% in 2018. To meet India’s NDC ambitions, the federal government announced determined targets to integrate 450 GW Renewable Energy in the grid by 2030. This paper explores the pathways to integrate high RE generation by 2030 with effective balancing of supply and demand and associated challenges of flexibility requirements. A Unit commitment and economic dispatch model, which simulates the power system operation was used. The overall share of variable renewables reaches 26% and 32% in the Baseline Capacity Scenario (BCS) and High Renewable Energy Scenario (HRES) respectively. Improved ramp rates and a minimum thermal loading limit induce flexibility in the thermal fleet. In the HRES, more than 16 GW of coal plants are required for two-shift operations in April and more than 50% of days see an aggregate all-India ramp from the coal fleet in excess of 500 MW per minute. Battery Storage provides daily balancing while reducing VRE curtailment to less than 0.2% in the HRES. Nationally Coordinated dispatch shows increased power transfer from high VRE regions to export power during high VRE generation periods. It is thus found that high RE penetration is possible by 2030 at no extra system costs.

Abstract:
The saltern of Sfax is a thalasso haline paralic ecosystem were the salinity ranged from 45 to 450 PSU. The microalgae distribution of saltern showed a spatial ecological succession. The specific richness of microalgae decreased with the salinity, accounting 37, 17 and 5 species at three level of salinity from 40 to 80, 80 to 200 and 200 to 450 PSU, respectively. To better understand the behavior of the hyper-halo tolerant microalgae, three autotrophic species Halamphora sp. SB1 MK575516 (Diatom), Phormidium versicolor NCC-466 (Cyanophyceae) and Dunaliella salina (Chlorophyceae) were isolated from each level of salinity and they are grown in batch in artificial seawater at laboratory scale. Growth and metabolites synthesized by these microalgae were assessed. Salinity reacts on the physiology of these three species which possess mechanisms of resistance to more or less effective stresses and generally by the synthesis of different biomolecules such as pigments, sugars, proteins and fatty acids.

Abstract:
Joint Application Development (JAD) was introduced in the late 1970s to solve many of the problems system users experienced with the conventional methods used in systems requirements determination (SRD) and has produced noteworthy improvements over these methods. However, a JAD session is conducted with freely interacting groups, which makes it susceptible to the problems that have curtailed the effectiveness of groups. JAD outcomes are also critically dependent on excellent facilitation for minimizing dysfunctional group behaviors. Many JAD efforts are not contemplated (and some fail) because such a person is often unavailable. The nominal group technique (NGT) was designed to reduce the impact of negative group dynamics. An integration of JAD and NGT is proposed here as a crutch to reduce the burden of the JAD facilitator in controlling group sessions during SRD. This approach, which was tested empirically in a laboratory experiment, appeared to outperform JAD alone in the areas tested and seemed to contribute to excellent group outcomes even without excellent facilitation.

Abstract:

Nondestructive characterization (NDC) methods which can provide full field information about components prior to and during use are critical to the reliable application of continuous fiber ceramic matrix composites in high firing temperature (>1350°C) gas turbines. For combustor liner applications, although nonmechanical load bearing components, thermal characteristics as well as mechanical integrity is vitally important. NDC methods being developed to provide necessary information include x-ray computed tomography (mainly for through-wall density and delamination detection), infrared-based thermal diffusivity imaging, and single-wall through-transmission x-ray imaging (mainly for fiber content and alignment detection). Correlation of the data obtained from NDC methods with subscale combustor liner tests have shown positive results at thermal cycling temperatures from 700°C to 1177°C.

Abstract:
Introdução: A citologia é o método recomendado pelas Diretrizes Brasileiras para Rastreamento do Câncer do Colo Uterino. Além disso, essas diretrizes fazem recomendações quanto à conduta frente as citologias alteradas.

Abstract:
The unsteady static pressure field over a turbine rotor has been measured in the Oxford Rotor Facility using 78 flush-mounted miniature pressure transducers. This extensive surface coverage allows ensemble-averaged data to be displayed as an animated image. At the mid-height plane the fluctuations are well predicted using the UNSFLO 2-D unsteady code: away from mid-height the data shows large fluctuations. 12 transducers mounted on the blade leading edge show the relative total pressure field entering the blade row; these plus area traverse measurements at rotor exit are used to interpret the surface flow features. Rotor-mounted hot wires show large variations in blade incidence during the wake-passing cycle and allow conversion of blade-relative data into the absolute frame. Large pressure fluctuations in the root region may be explained in terms of a loss core associated with the NGV wake.

Abstract:
The oilless, gearless and bleedable under armor auxiliary power unit (UAAPU) development program is providing the United States Army with a technically advanced auxiliary power unit (APU) for military tracked vehicles. Fully functional prototypes in two configurations are being demonstrated in both laboratory and field tests. The APU power output is 32 kw (43 shp) with 10 to 20 kw supplied as electrical power and the balance of power delivered as elevated pressure bleed air for use in conjunction with the vehicle nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) filtration and environmental control system (ECS). The design of the UAAPU incorporates air bearings and a shaft-speed permanent-magnet starter/generator with electronic power conditioning to eliminate completely the need for oil lubrication and an auxiliary gearbox. This significantly simplifies the mechanical design of the APU with resulting reliability, durability, and maintainability improvements. Over 600 hours of laboratory system development test time has been logged and 90 hours in field tests on an M1A1 main battle tank. Operations in the field have included both gunnery and simulated warfare training exercises.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
Context: Myofibrillar myopathies (MFM) represent a heterogeneous group of disorders of skeletal and cardiac muscle caused by mutations in genes that encode proteins of sarcomere. Diagnosis is a challenge due to clinical and genetic variability. Case report: Woman, 36 years old, presenting stumbles and falls for 3 years evolving with proximal limb weakness. At age 30, she fainted and a cardiac pacemaker was implanted. Non-consanguineous parents. Neurological exam: proximal and distal weakness in lower limbs and distal atrophy; osteotendinous reflexes normal. Bilateral scapula alata. Exams: CPK = 457 U / l; EMG: myopathic pattern. Muscle MRI: diffuse and heterogeneous fatty degeneration, marked in sartorius, gracilis and semitedinous. Panel NGS myopathies: pathogenic variant, c.1175T> C, missense in heterozygosis in desmin gene. CONCLUSION: The diagnosis of MFM is based on the morphological findings of muscle biopsy with the presence of protein aggregates as a determining factor. Currently, genetic testing by NGS has facilitated early diagnosis allowing for a more appropriate clinical approach. The desmin gene was the first one described to be associated with this group of myopathies. It encodes the desmin protein, a member of the intermediate filament family present in cardiac and skeletal muscle. Several phenotypes are related to desmin gene: isolated dilated cardiomyopathy; scapuloperoneal weakness and distoproximal weakness with cardiac alterations. Desminopathy is a rare cause of cardiomyopathy and / or myopathy. The diagnosis should be thought in patient with muscle weakness and cardiac changes.

Abstract:
The Canada in 3D (C3D) project (https://canada3d.geosciences.ca/), formally initiated in the spring of 2020 by the National Geological Surveys Committee (NGSC) is required to provide a working group update to all its provincial and territorial partners. There have been several informal C3D working meetings with the partners prior to the creation of the C3D Charter and there has been a hiatus in communication through the Covid-19 pandemic. To re-engage the C3D community, a video tele-conference was held on June 6th, 2022 with approximately 44 participants. There was representation and presentations of all provinces and territories with various managers, technical and scientific observers. The purpose of this compilation of presentations and discussions from this 2022 C3D-NGSC reconnection meeting is to provide activity information to all participants, and their respective organizations, highlighting current geoscience compilation and modelling efforts in 2D and 3D. The aim is to help identify opportunities for collaboration on data standards, methods, applications and best practices but with the overall goal of working toward the C3D vision, outlined in the C3D charter of an updated 2D and 3D geological map/model of Canada.
