Abstract:
Introduction. Today Ukrainian enterprises operate under difficult economic conditions, which have developed against the background of the constant increase in the cost of raw materials, energy tariffs, changing geopolitical situation, difficult political situation in the country, which is why most of the enterprises struggle for survival instead of development. Against this background, competition with foreign producers is aggravated, accompanied by a narrowing of the domestic market.Given the complex economic conditions of Ukrainian enterprises, their success today depends on the effectiveness of management in these conditions. Businesses require a modern business process management tool designed to adapt to new challenges and find ways to mitigate the effects of external factors. The economic development of the enterprise is conditioned by the progress of information technologies, the emergence of innovative forms of management, new principles of division of labor, etc. Changes in the management of business entities now require new scientific and methodological approaches, from which the enterprise is regarded as a set of business processes. One of the modern ways of improving the business system is the attraction of external contractors, which is solved by the introduction of outsourcing and allows to increase the efficiency of the enterprise and its competitiveness in the market.Hypothesis. Assessing the readiness of an enterprise to implement outsourcing provides validity of the management decision on outsourcing of business processes and helps to increase the efficiency of utilization of the enterprise's potential. The purposeof this article is to develop a methodological approach to assessing the degree of readiness of the enterprise to implement business process outsourcing to improve the efficiency of the enterprise in the current economic environment and to strengthen its competitive position in the domestic and international markets.Research methods. The methodological basis of the research is a system of general scientific and special methods, the main of which are: dialectical approach, methods of classification and systematization, analysis and synthesis, statistical and logical analysis, concretization, expert assessments and economic and mathematical modeling.Results. A methodical approach to assessing the degree of readiness of an enterprise to use outsourcing in business process management is offered, which, unlike the existing ones, makes it possible to substantiate the outsourcing decision taking into account the existing potential of the enterprise with a greater degree of certainty.Conclusions. As a result of the research, the problem of scientific and methodological substantiation of the enterprise's readiness for implementation of business process outsourcing at the enterprise was solved. This methodological approach enables the management of a number of indicators and the appropriate scale to assess the degree of readiness – the sufficiency of the enterprise's capacity to implement outsourcing and to overcome the risks associated with it. The proposed approach enhances the effectiveness of the management decision to outsource, is versatile and can be used in the practice of any enterprise that plans or already uses outsourcing in business.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the features of marketing activities of enterprises related to small business Defines the criteria by which enterprises are classified in one way or another. It is noted that the use of only quantitative characteristics, such as the number of staff or turnover indicators can not fully characterize the peculiarities of small businesses. After all, a small enterprise is a specific subject of market relations, which has fundamentally new qualitative characteristics, namely: the union in one person owner and entrepreneur (and often half of the functions), focus on innovation, simplified communication and information systems, work in conditions of fierce competition. The characteristic features inherent in the marketing strategy of an enterprise of any size are identified and specific features inherent exclusively in small businesses are given. Based on the selected features, marketing strategies that can be used by small businesses are summarized. Having a well-thought-out formalized marketing strategy, its adaptation to the conditions of the enterprise, allows to use such strategic advantages of a small enterprise as flexibility, maneuverability, adaptability and reduce the dependence on big business and competition in the market. A number of obstacles that hinder the full implementation of marketing strategy in the activities of small businesses are outlined. In particular, the most important of them are: intuition of marketing activities, lack of consistency between marketing strategy and other strategies in the enterprise, the lack of a separate specialist who would deal professionally with marketing issues and interaction with the target segment. Prospects for further research in this area are outlined, taking into account the requirements of the virtual environment and the focus of the market economy on digitalization.

Abstract:
So far, little is known about the Business Model Canvas development in the energy sector. In this paper, we fill this knowledge gap and modify the Business Model Canvas. Based on the cause–effect analysis combined with the literature searching method, we suggest that Osterwalder’s Canvas for energy enterprise should be modified because the available Canvas adaptations cannot fully capture the energy enterprise’s business model or realise its business operations combined with the public interest. We propose a new original Canvas adaptation by adding two crucial blocks representing the mission, energy accountability, and impact on stakeholders in the Business Model Canvas. The findings make two main contributions. First, they contribute to developing entrepreneurship theory. We formulate an original definition of a business model, first showing the limitations of current definitions. We verify Chesbrough’s functions of business models. Second, compared to earlier business model frameworks, the new model clearly points out that accountability in firms’ everyday businesses is at the core of business development. Moreover, this article formulates future research avenues in the energy sector and provides a helpful planning tool for practitioners.

Enterprises have their own business model since the birth of the day, small street hotels, big banks, have their own business models, most of the traditional business models are spontaneous, traditional, and did not carry out conscious design and innovation, lack of competition and growth of sustainability, which is the reason why most private enterprises are difficult. Traditional business model has its distinctive characteristics, he is mainly centered on the seller market, with the inevitable two major costs, including labor costs and rent costs, traditional enterprise sales channels have limitations, its data driving force is low. New business models have emerged in the Internet era, such as the application of the C2B model of e-commerce, which can maximize profits for both consumers and enterprises. In the process of the change of information technology, the carrier of traditional business carrying information has changed, the form has changed the content, and a new consumption field has been created. Therefore, the bosses who do traditional business models must not resist, must accept and learn, and give new life to the enterprise.

Abstract:
In management, there are many management approaches that make it possible to increase the performance indicators of the enterprise. At the same time, the priority direction of the development of enterprises is the implementation of innovative activities. To achieve success in this area, companies are changing management approaches, organizational structures and business models. However, in the conditions of constant aggravation of the competitive struggle, the achievement of high indicators of the enterprise's activity is best ensured by the reengineering of business processes. The innovativeness of reengineering lies in the fact that it combines the use of the prerogatives of computer technologies, human resource management technologies and changes in business processes. In the current economic conditions, the speed of reaction of all subsystems of the enterprise and the efficiency of operations are of particular importance and are a necessary condition for its effective functioning in the conditions of constantly intensifying competition. In this situation, reengineering is the most effective, because it contributes to increasing the efficiency of the enterprise by changing the business model it uses. Therefore, the study of reengineering procedures, its principles and tasks is relevant in today's conditions. The purpose of the study is to generalize theoretical approaches to the main principles, types and tasks of business process reengineering as a tool for effective enterprise management. The methodological basis of the study was the work of domestic and foreign scientists on the problems of reengineering and change management of enterprises. Business process reengineering is a thorough rethinking and radical redesign of business processes of enterprises that want to significantly improve their performance. . It is used when it is necessary to make a reasoned decision about the reorganization of activities: radical transformations, business restructuring, replacement of existing management structures with new ones, etc. Thanks to the effective use of business process reengineering tools, it is possible to make the enterprise more flexible to changes in the external environment and more stable in competitive conditions. Thus, the reengineering of business processes involves a decisive, fundamental restructuring of business processes and the foundations of the management organization in order to significantly increase the competitiveness of the enterprise on the market and significantly increase the efficiency of the enterprise as a whole system.

Abstract:
Business management is an important part of social service and governance. With the development of economy and technology, the pressure on enterprises to participate in the market competition is gradually increasing. Therefore, it is particularly important to establish an information-based business management system. However, there are still many problems in the process of informatization development of enterprise business management, which seriously restricts the comprehensive development of enterprises. On the one hand, the existing business management information system lacks effective security and supervision links. On the other hand, there is a lack of professional information technology personnel within the enterprise. Machine learning is a discipline that specializes in how to simulate human learning behavior, and it can continuously learn new knowledge structures to make itself progress and develop. The development of enterprise business management informatization is consistent with the development direction of machine learning itself. Therefore, this paper proposes a business management informatization construction method based on a machine learning algorithm, which aims to further promote the development of enterprises in the direction of informatization and modernization and improve the informatization level of enterprises. Experiments show that with the support of machine learning technology, the level of enterprise business management informatization can reach 82.31%, fully indicating that machine learning can help enterprises innovate management models and improve the level of information management of enterprises.

The goal of the article is to show the possibilities of development (improvements) of the business-university cooperation on from the point of view of enterprises. Authors are looking for a balance enabling agile cooperation between the entities (business needs vs university capabilities). In this article the conditions of the cooperation from the point of view of an enterprise were analyzed. Entrepreneurs point to the passive attitude of the universities regarding cooperation, the lack of openness to the business needs or inquiries and low communication. On the other hand, scientists point out the problem of not getting any offers from entrepreneurs [Trzmielak, Grzegorczyk 2014]. The pandemic caused by the virus SARS-CoV2 has shown the weaknesses of enterprises in many sectors. The most common difficulties are communication problems with stakeholders. Businesses are working very quickly on finding new solutions which will facilitate communication and improve the flow of documentation3 . Works using new technologies have significantly accelerated. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has definitely inspired the new generation of crisis communication [Sellnow, Seeger, 2021]. The crisis has forced the creation of new schemes which will be facilitate effective action. The chances of universities cooperating with businesses decreases with the available number of new solutions in the time of the communication crisis. Polish universities definitely miss the marketing orientation. According to businessmen the main barrier is the lack of offers and insufficient information flow. From the business point of view what is interesting is the experience of university employees in assessing the digitalisation of enterprises (Industry 4.0)4 . There is a chance for a development of such cooperation. Time and economic results become important business factors.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to test the effect of brand regulations on the relationship between enterprises’ branding capabilities (internal and external) and performance. It also examines the hypothesized relationship effects across manufacturing and service-based enterprises. Design/methodology/approach The study uses data from 384 small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within an emerging market setting. Moderated hierarchical regression was used to examine the theoretical interrelationships between branding capabilities and enterprise performance within the boundaries of regulations. Findings Results from the study suggest that both internal and external branding capabilities positively affect enterprise performance. However, the effect is confounded as brand regulations attenuate the relationship between enterprises’ branding capabilities and performance. Varying outcomes across manufacturing and service-based enterprises are also assessed. Originality/value The study suggests that policy makers should review regulations on businesses, particularly those relating to the small business sector. Regulations that ameliorate activities of SMEs should be implemented to promote existing enterprises, and attract new ones for industrialization in emerging markets. The findings provide evidence for issues of potential research and managerial interest, with implications for both policy makers, small business owners and the academic community.

Abstract:
Entrepreneurial activity is currently confronted with a large number of different influences, which affect the performance of business units. Businesses face new situations due to the changing market conditions they have to respond to. The small and medium-sized business sector responds dynamically as well as very sensitively to market changes, where many family businesses are also established. Competition between market players forces both the management and the family businesses to think about new opportunities in order to ensure their growth. As a result, small and medium-sized businesses gain increased importance in international markets. This study aims to identify the current trend in the international activity of family businesses in terms of their territorial activity. In addition to the theoretical background, the submitted study also introduces the results of our empirical survey. The questionnaire survey was applied as an appropriate research method. We decided to apply a dual approach: qualitative (mainly for the theoretical part) and quantitative for the empirical part of the study. The obtained results show family businesses' interest in operating in the international business environment.

Abstract:
Each business model is based on a particular business model, but some businesses do not have a defined model. Global megatrends are among the systemic characteristics of today’s challenges. This paper deals with the proposed business model for a specific enterprise. Slovak entrepreneurs are mostly cautious and rather hesitate to accept something that is unfamiliar to them and new to them. Key enabling technologies will play a decisive role in the future competitive environment, and with them the new way to come value of products. These innovations are a prerequisite for product innovation to meet the needs, wishes and possibilities of customers. Oftentimes, they will accept it as a necessary measure when they see how the competition beats them. We could also write a similar scenario about modern business models, where most foreign companies have elaborated them in detail and set up to make the company successful in the future. The business model describes the basic principle of how an enterprise creates values, how it captures and mediates. The first section focuses on specific types of business models and their development and survey of the literature. The case study in selected company deals with the use of strategic management methods, as well as finding out the current state, from which the complex business model was created. The results showed that the implementation of the solution helps the company to achieve the goal and subsequent development.
