Abstract:
En este artículo los autores revisan la evolución de la pedagogía italiana desde la perspectiva de la tradición católica, desde los tiempos del Risorgimento en el siglo xix hasta 1968. Con este objetivo, se dibujan las grandes líneas del pensamiento pedagógico italiano sobre el poso de la herencia católica que se sitúa en un término medio entre el positivismo que se desarrolló en el tránsito del siglo XIX al XX y el neoidealismo de Giovanni Gentile que marcó el rumbo de la filosofía transalpina durante las primeras décadas del siglo pasado, con importantes resonancias en la reforma educativa fascista. Después de dibujar este mapa conceptual e intelectual, el artículo fija su atención en tres referentes de la pedagogía católica para España como son la educación salesiana de san Juan Bosco, presente en nuestropaís desde fines del siglo xix; la influencia de la neoescolástica que a través de la orientación psicopedagógica de Angelo Gemelli caló en la Universidad Católica del Sagrado Corazón de Milán, fundada en 1920 e inaugurada el año siguiente, y, por último, y después de la caída del fascismo, en el neoespiritualismo que a través de autores como Michele Federico Sciacca puede entenderse como la evolución natural del neoidealismo hacia posiciones más creyentes y confesionales.

Abstract:
El artículo explora las condiciones de posibilidad y usos político y educativos de la recepción de Paul Gerhard Natorp entre 1906 y 1916 por los pensionados españoles en Marburgo. Para perfilar estas, analiza las ideas que rechazaron en posibles alternativas como John Dewey: naturalismo, moral definida socialmente y escuela comunitaria y participativa. El neoidealismo era un posicionamiento político contrario al conservatismo, individualismo, liberalismo y positivismo. Su gnoseología defendía un organicismo trascendente al individuo y la superioridad de la filosofía como ciencia normativa que reunía las leyes naturales y morales, lo que permitía reformular un ideario republicano-reformista, que denominan «liberalismo socialista», que concede un papel directivo a las élites filosóficas y les permite realizar una revisión republicana del socialismo. Natorp también les provee de la «religión de la humanidad» y la educación social, que permiten justificar la dirección de la regeneración del país por las élites reformistas burguesas y atacar a la Iglesia y su poder educativo, este si un elemento común a la escuela única. Natorp no fue recibido en este periodo fundamentalmente para apoyar ésta, pues su gnoseología y pedagogía respaldaban discursos tradicionales que justificaban el papel de una élite intelectual dirigente distinta del práctico, el maestro, y de una pedagogía academicista que reforzaba la reproducción social impidiendo la democracia educativa.

In the far-off days before the first World War, the British journal Mind was full of articles by writers who thought of themselves as “Neoidealists”. So when the enfant terrible of the groves of Academic Oxford in that generation—a “pragmatic Humanist” by the name of Ferdinand Canning Scott Schiller—played his most notorious practical joke upon his colleagues by publishing a mock-issue of the journal (under the title Mind!) he offered as a frontispiece “A portrait of the Absolute in the pink of condition”. Beneath a pale-pink semi-transparent tissue (which, except for its colour, was quite normal for the photographic plates in Victorian memoirs) one found a printed frame that embraced a perfectly blank white sheet of paper.

RESUMEN: En este artículo se revisa la aportación de la escuela neokantiana de Badén (principalmente la obra de Windelband y Rickert) así como la de Dilthey, culpabilizándoles de integrar a la Pedagogía en el seno de las ciencias de la cultura y de la historia, en ámbitos axiológicos y espiritualistas, lejanos a las concepciones organicistas que por aquel momento eran ya las propias de las otras ciencias humanas. Este discurso alejado de la realidad fáctica del educar no permitió una adecuada recepción de la obra de J. Dewey y a la larga supuso la desaparición de la Pedagogía en manos de la visión positivista de las ciencias de la educación. Se concluye evidenciando que el problema conceptual del saber educativo es más de carácter histórico que no epistemológico.ABSTRACT: In this article the contribution of Baden's neokantian school is revised, mainly Windelband and Rickert's work as well as that of Dilthey, who are blamed for integrating Pedagogy into the milieu of the sciences of culture and history, and in axiologic and spiritualist spheres, far from the organicistic conceptions which at that time already characterised the other humanistic sciences. This reasoning, far from the factual reality of educating, did not permit a suitable reception of J. Dewey's work and in the end meant the disappearance of Pedagogy in the hands of the positivistic vision of education sciences. The article concludes by showing that the conceptual problem of educative knowledge is rather of a historical nature than an epistemological one.SOMMAIRE: Dans cette article on revise Importation neokantienne de l'école de Baden (principalement de l'ouvrage de Windelband et Rickert) et aussi celle de Dilthey, afin de démontrer qu'ils sont qui integreron d'une manière indubitable à la Pédagogie dans les sciences de la culture et de la histoire, compris dans les limitations axiologiques et spiritualistes, loin des conceptions organiques, propres des autres sciences humaines et sociels. Cette discours, loin de la realité factique de l'éducation, il n'a pas permis une réception approprié de l'ouvrage de J. Dewey, ce qui, avec le temps suppose la disparition de la Pédagogie de la sphère d'influence du positivisme et son substitution pour les sciences de l'éducation. On s'arrive a l'évidence que le problème conceptuel du savoir éducatif est plus une caractéristique historique que epistémologique.
