ABSTRAK GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN MENGGOSOK GIGI PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP ISLAM AN-NAWAH DESA BATUKERBUY KECAMATAN PASEAN KABUPATEN PAMEKASAN Proporsi perilaku menggosok gigi setiap hari yaitu 94,7% dan 2,8% sudah menggosok gigi dua kali sehari, yakni pagi dan malam secara benar, upaya pemeliharaan kebersihan dan pencegahan penyakit gigi dan mulut yaitu dengan cara menghindari atau sekurang kurangnya memperkecil terjadinya pembentukan debris, plak dan kalkulus. Masalah penelitian ini adalah tingginya angka OHI-S pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam An-Nawah Desa Batukerbuy Kecamatan Pasean Kabupaten Pamekasan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengetahuan tentang menggosok gigi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam An-Nawah Desa Batukerbuy Kecamatan Pasean Kabupaten Pamekasan. Jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan jumlah responden 30 siswa. Metode penelitian dengan pengisian lembar kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan cara merekap hasil data yang telah dikumpulkan dan di sajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa tentang menggosok gigi dalam kategori buruk. Kata kunci : Gambaran Pengetahuan, OHI-S, Menggosok Gigi, Siswa. Types of research is descriptive with the number of respondents 30 students. The method is by filling out a questionnaire sheet. The analysis technique used is to recap the results of the data that has been collected and presented in tabular form The results showed that students' knowledge about brushing their teeth was in the bad category. AbstractThis article presents some of the authors' perspectives on the past 20 years of work that applies the results of research in historical linguistics to the understanding of the histories and cultural practices of pre-Columbian Mesoamericans. It focuses on major cultural transformations to which both historical linguistic and archaeological data can contribute, such as the spread of agriculture, and migrations in Mesoamerican prehistory. It also addresses major culture-historical studies on narrower topics: on Nawa and its place in the prehistory of Mexico, in particular confirming standard views that Nawas were immigrants into Mesoamerica; on Archaic and Formative period interactions involving Oto-Mangeans, which is work that is largely still to be done; on the prospects for work on long-distance contacts between Mesoamerica and North America; on the contributions of historical linguistics in Mesoamerican epigraphy; and on the value and prospects of updating the methodology of glottochronology.

The tales of Abu Nawas, which originated in Arab-Persia are popular humorous stories told in the Malay world. Several written sources reveal that these tales spread to the Malay world between the 13th and 15th centuries, through the books One Thousand and One Nights and Hikayat Abu Nawas . Drawing from field trips conducted in a number of places in Sabah, a total of 13 tales, that had been transmitted orally among Sabah indigenous informants, have been collected. Upon comparison with Hikayat Abu Nawas , it was found that some of the Sabah folk version of Abu Nawas tales are similar to those published in Hikayat Abu Nawas while some are very different. This study attempts to compare the motifs of the original Abu Nawas tales with those of the Sabah folk version based on the principles of intertextuality. The intertextual comparison shows that early on, the indigenous people of Sabah had been exposed to the Abu Nawas stories. Later however, the stories were retold based on local elements. In the end, the indigenous storytellers of Sabah began to create their own version with motifs different from that of the original tales. These retold stories are rich in local color and motifs, highlighting the genius and creativity of local Sabah storytellers. Beberapa sumber tulisan melaporkan bahawa cerita ini telah disebarkan ke alam Melayu antara kurun ke-13 hingga kurun ke-15 melalui Hikayat Seribu Satu Malam dan Hikayat Abu Nawas . Dalam kerja lapangan yang dikendalikan di beberapa tempat di Sabah baru-baru ini, sejumlah tiga belas buah cerita Abu Nawas, yang tersebar secara lisan dalam kalangan informan pelbagai etnik peribumi Sabah telah dikumpul. Setelah diteliti, sesetengah daripada cerita Abu Nawas versi rakyat Sabah didapati mirip dengan cerita Abu Nawas yang diterbitkan dalam Hikayat Abu Nawas manakala sesetengah yang lain didapati jauh berbeza. Tulisan ini bertujuan membuat perbandingan antara motif cerita Abu Nawas versi rakyat Sabah dengan motif cerita Abu Nawas dalam Hikayat Abu Nawas berasaskan prinsip intertekstualiti. Hasil perbandingan intertekstual yang dilakukan mendapati bahawa, pada mulanya penduduk peribumi Sabah telah didedahkan dengan cerita Abu Nawas. Terdapat sesetengah cerita Abu Nawas kemudiannya telah diolah semula berasaskan unsur tempatan. Akhir sekali, pencerita peribumi Sabah telah mencipta sejumlah cerita Abu Nawas, yang motifnya berbeza sama sekali daripada motif cerita Abu Nawas asal. Cerita Abu Nawas versi rakyat Sabah seperti ini didapati kaya dengan motif dan unsur tempatan. Abstract:
I offer an interpretation of the Stoic “peculiar qualification” (ἰδία ποιότης) which provides for the identity of individuals over time and the distinguishability of discrete individuals. This interpretation is similar to but not the same as one of the strands in Lewis’s interpretation as presented by Nawar. I suggest that the “peculiar qualification”—what makes the individual be the individual—is the particular ἕξις or φύσις or ψυχή that is in an individual. That is, the peculiar quality is not the kind of πνεῦμα an entity has, nor some further qualification or disposition of the kind of πνεῦμα that it has, such as acquired characteristics of the tenor or nature or soul in its particular lived history, but simply the discrete soul or nature or tenor, extended in its own particular spatial location. The so-called peculiar quality is that portion of πνεῦμα that is proper to that individual.

The purpose of this research was to ascertain the image of women in the universe of author Nawal El-Saadawi. among them. This research accomplished this by including an introduction, a prologue, three chapters, and a conclusion. The preface was written to showcase the feminist novel's picture of women and to introduce Nawal El Saadawi. As a result, the first chapter, headed "Patterns of the female image in Nawal Al-books," Saadawi's is separated into two sections: the first discusses the notion of the image and its varieties, and the second discusses women's patterns. It appeared in the second chapter, named "Features of the interaction between the woman and the other in Nawal Al-books," Saadawi's as well as the third chapter, titled "Drawing the woman's character in Nawal Al-novels," Saadawi's and was separated into: The first subject of discussion is the idea of personality. The second subject is the methods used to depict women in Nawal Al-novels: Saadawi's the figurative technique, the introspective method, and the declarative way. The study reached many results, perhaps the most important of which is that Nawal El-Saadawi dealt with social, political and national issues, especially issues related to women, Finally, the conclusion, which included the most important findings of the research in terms of results, recommendations and suggestions.

Persimmon (Diospyros kaki) fruit production is severely affected by circular leaf spot worldwide. Mycosphaerella nawae causes circular leaf spot of persimmon (CLSP) and can result in leaf spot, defoliation, early fruit maturation, and subsequent softening and abscission. The morphology and phylogenetic position of M. nawae within the family Mycosphaerellaceae is, therefore, of utmost importance given its impact on persimmon production. Based on previous morphological and molecular studies, the phylogenetic position of the anamorphic genera associated with M. nawae remain in confusion. In the present study, 15 isolates of M. nawae were collected from the tissue of living leaves exhibiting leaf spot symptoms. A subsample of three isolates was characterized phylogenetically and morphologically. Isolates were compared based on DNA sequence data for the internal transcribed spacer region (ITS1-5.8S ITS2), part of the 28S nrDNA including domains D1-D3 (LSU), actin (Act), translation elongation factor 1-alpha (EF-1α), and RNA polymerase II second largest subunit (rpb2). The anamorph and teleomorph structures, ascospore germination patterns, as well as host specificity were used to describe the isolates. The phylogenetic and morphological analyses revealed that M. nawae requires a new holomorphic genus within Mycosphaerellaceae, described herein as Plurivorosphaerella gen. nov. A host specificity test revealed that Plurivorosphaerella nawae comb. nov. (M. nawae) can superficially colonize, but not infect, apple, peach, cherry, and plum.

Syair Iktiraf atau al-I`tirāf merupakan karya masyhur yang disematkan kepada Abu Nawas. Akan tetapi, penyematan tersebut nyatanya sangat sulit ditemukan kebenarannya dalam catatan sejarah dan kesusastraan Arab. Penelitian ini mencoba memetakan autentisitas syair Iktiraf sebagai karya Abu Nawas dengan menggunakan pendekatan ekspresif yang dikombinasikan dengan metode sejarah. Pendekatan ekspresif yang dimaksud mengacu pada teori Abrams (1971) yang menganggap karya sastra sebagai ekspresi perasaan, pikiran, dan pengalaman pengarangnya. Dengan pendekatan ini, karya sastra merujuk pada riwayat hidup penulisnya sehingga dapat diketahui latar belakang penulisan karya tersebut. Untuk itu, metode sejarah dibutuhkan sebagai bentuk tindak lanjut yang bertugas memverifikasi kecocokan data dari pendekatan ekspresif sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sejumlah bukti bahwa Abu Nawas tidak pernah menulis syair Iktiraf. Sekali pun ekspresi perasaan dan pikiran yang ada dalam syair tersebut terkesan sejalan dengan pengalaman hidup Abu Nawas, tetapi sejumlah buku sejarah justru memuat syair lain yang lebih autentik dan sama sekali tidak pernah menyinggung syair Iktiraf dalam buku-buku biografi Abu Nawas. Di sisi lain, tidak adanya syair Iktiraf dalam buku-buku biografi Abu Nawas berbanding terbalik dengan buku-buku fikih mazhab Syafei yang memuat syair tersebut sebagai salah satu amalan di hari Jumat.

By suffering injustice and violence in the context of the civil war, some of these children turn into executioners (Nihad was born of a first love)or resistance fighters(Nawal). Nawal's story oscillates between fiction (Nawal, raped by her own son, gives birth to two children) and history (the civil war in Lebanon). Rupjalal (1876) is considered to be the first novel by any Muslim woman. Reading this one hundred and forty-one year old novel reveals many buried expressions of women’s sexuality. This paper tries to read Nawab Faizunnesa Chowdhurani’s Rupjalal in the context of the then Bengal and tries to explore how the author boldly, yet subtly, portrays female sexuality through the aesthetic quality of her craft. Chowdhurani brings in almost every possible sphere of women’s sexuality in her narration through the love story of Jalal and Rupbanu. In a time when the Victorian morality imposed on Indians was trying to ban frank sexual expression in literature, Chowdhurani writes about female sexuality, desire, female gaze, and even raises a voice against the patriarchal notion of chastity in women. Chowdhurani also plays with narrative technique and incorporates many genres in her fiction. This paper shows how Rupjalal is a feminist text in many ways. However, the paper does not aim to place Chowdhurani or her text in favor or in opposition to patriarchal or colonial contexts. It tries, instead, to unearth the expression of women’s sexuality which is buried by the intervention of Victorian imperialist and reformist culture of the nineteenth century.

AbstractWhen Telenomus nawai Ashmead or Trichogramma ostriniae Pang & Chen (Hymenoptera: Trichogrammatidae) was inoculated into intact egg masses of Spodoptera litura (Fabricius) that were covered with a scale-hair layer, T. nawai emerged from 76% of the eggs, while emergence of T. ostriniae was from only 3% of the eggs. When the hair layer was removed before inoculation, the rate by the latter increased to 21%. These observations confirmed that the hair layer effectively protects S. litura egg masses from attack by T. ostriniae, and that T. nawai parasitism is more effective. In order to assess the feasibility of T. nawai as a biological control agent for S. litura, parasitism rate, development time and adult longevity were examined in the laboratory. Emergence of T. nawai was observed in more than 95% of 0- and 1-day-old separated eggs of S. litura, but the rate decreased to 60% and 0% for 2- and 3-day-old eggs, respectively. The emergence rates of T. nawai were near 95% for temperatures in a range from 25°C to 35°C, but decreased to 80% at 20°C. No parasitoids emerged at 15°C. The developmental periods decreased as temperature increased from 20°C to 35°C. The developmental threshold occurred at 13.7°C and 13.9°C, and the effective accumulative temperatures from egg to adult emergence were 149.3 and 147.1 degree-days for females and males, respectively. Mean longevity of the adult females decreased with increasing temperature; 87.0 days at 15°C and 9.5 days at 35°C. The feasibility of the use of T. nawai for controlling S. litura is discussed.

Islamic feminist is currently being discussed, one of which is Nawal E-Saadawi. She is an Islamic feminist who is known for her view on fighting for the fate of women. It is reflected in his non-fiction and literary works. This study aims to explore the view of the feminist writer from Egypt, Nawal El-Saadawi, from a legal context. The research method used in this research is qualitative-interpretative using literary data sources written by Nawal El-Saadawi. The data source used is the novel Woman at Point Zero. The data collection technique was done by using a literature study. The data analysis technique was carried out in two stages: the textual and contextual levels. The result of the research showed that Nawal El-Saadawi's thoughts from her literary context that (1) the law is frightening and unfair in the view of women; (2) men acting on behalf of the law; and (3) women who violate the law.

This essay analyzes Sophocles’ Theban plays and Wajdi Mouawad’s insightful reinterpretation of those plays, Incendies. Both Oedipus in the Theban plays and Nawal in Incendies unwittingly commit incest and take responsibility for their transgressions. They, however, act very differently toward their children. Oedipus is furious with his sons and curses them because they did not help him when he was exiled from Thebes. Unlike Oedipus, Nawal rejects the logic of retaliation and tries to break the vicious cycle of anger between generations. When incest is revealed, Oedipus gets engulfed in sorrow and never feels happy about having found his real mother and true identity. His children also constantly lament over their family tragedies and pity one another. These feelings prevent them from breaking the cycle of tragedy upon tragedy. Nawal gets horrified when she realizes that Abou Tarek, the torturer who raped her, is Nihad, her own son she had to give up at birth, but simultaneously her heart bursts with happiness to see her long-lost son. In her will, Nawal asks her twins, Janine and Simon, to find their father and brother and deliver her letters to them. Searching for them, the twins discover that their father and brother are the same person. Reading Nawal’s letters, Nihad comes to know the horrible truth as well. In her letters, Nawal tells Nihad that he is a child of love and that there is still the happiness of being together. She asks Simon to reconstruct the family history and Janine to break the thread of anger. While Oedipus leaves his children trapped in a cycle of tragedy, Nawal succeeds to free her children and helps them move on.

The informants are the principal, teachers, administration staffs, all employees and students of Strada Nawar Junior High School Bekasi, taken according to the assignment or reference of the previous accreditation assessment. Data collection technique uses observation and interview. School-based management and participation management have to be applied in teamwork between the teachers, staffs, vice principal and society to write down every format according to their own task, needed in the school accreditation in Strada Nawar Junior High School. The main role is the principle as the manager to improve the school accreditation. While the resistors are: (1) Lack of information in assessment aspects and format so they still use old guidance, (2) Lack of preparation of time and team, (3) Lack of collaboration and participation of all school components, (4) Less effective management of the principle as the leader to face the accreditation assessment. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai sekolah berbasis partisipatif dalam meningkatkan akreditasi di SMP Strada Nawar Kota Bekasi dalam hal: (a) Perencanaan, (b) Pengorganisasian, (c) Pelaksanaan, dan (d) Evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kasus di SMP Strada Nawar Bekasi. Informan penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru, staf tata usaha (TU) dan seluruh pegawai serta siswa-siswi SMP Strada Nawar Kota Bekasi yang diambil berdasarkan penugasan atau penunjukkan dalam pelaksanaan penilaian akreditasi sebelumnya. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah melalui observasi dan wawancara. Manajemen berbasis sekolah dan manajemen partisipasi harus diterapkan melalui kerjasama yang melibatkan guru, staff, wakil kepala sekolah dan masyarakat dalam mengisi format sesuai dengan tugasnya masing-masing yang dibutuhkan dalam akreditasi sekolah di SMP Strada Nawar. Peran yang paling utama adalah kepalah sekolah sebagai manajer dalam peningkatan akreidatasi sekolah. Sementara, faktor penghambatnya adalah Kurangnya informasi dalam aspek penilaian dan formatnya sehingga masih menggunakan panduan lama, (2) Kurang persiapan dari segi waktu dan tim yang dibentuk, (3) Kurangnya kerjasama dan partisipasi seluruh komponen sekolah, (4) Manajemen yang kurang efektif dari kepala sekolah selaku pimpinan dalam menghadapi penilaian akreditasi. The background of the research was based on the existence of Abu Nawas stories that contain humor aspects. Besides, it has its uniqueness, so that readers are curious. The story of Abu Nawas is categorized as an anecdotal story because it contains the same structure and rules as the anecdotal text. Besides it also has a moral value so that it can be used as alternative teaching material at schools. Regarding the importance of Abu Nawas story, this study aimed to describe the structure and rules of anecdotal texts in the collection of Abu Nawas stories. This research was descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted in literature. The research took six months. Data was collected using documentation techniques. This research data contained the text of the Abu Nawas anecdotal story containing structure and language use. The data analysis technique used in this study was the procedure and analysis model according to Miles and Huberman which consists of three stages, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results of this study, first, in terms of the generic structure, 44 anecdotal texts were perfect and 14 texts were not complete. It was proven by the average value which was 94% and was categorized complete based on the standard of anecdotal text structure covering abstract, orientation, crisis, reaction, and coda. Second, in terms of language use, 19 stories were complete and 39 stories did not use the language use properly. It was proven by the average value which was 75% and was categorized complete. The language features used in the form of past tense, rhetorical questions, temporal conjunction, material verbs, and imperative sentences.

Each language has its own rules and pattern and a certain tendency. Language games are the rules of language for a particular purpose. Nawal Sa'dawi uses denotative meaning as criticism and disagreement about existing social phenomena. Therefore, this study aims to determine the form of language games in the book "al-Mar'ah wa al-Jins" by Nawal Sa'dawi based on the perspective of Ludwig Wittgenstein. This study uses an interpretation method to express linguistic diction in books and their meanings as human expressions. This study uses Wittgenstein's hermeneutic approach to reveal linguistic facts from the book's narrative. The source of this research data is taken from the book "Al-Mar'ah wa al-Jins" by Nawal Sa'dawi. Data collection techniques in this study used reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The analysis of this research uses the technique of analyzing the philosophy of language from Ludwig's perspective. The results of this study indicate that there are four kinds of language games in the book "al-Mar'ah wa al-Jins" by Nawal Sa'dawi, namely: (1) emphasis; (2) feminist language; (3) sarcasm; and (4) subtle persuasion. This language game aims to reveal facts and as a form of assertiveness from its users upon request or support.

Abu Nawas is an Abbasid poet whose life and poetry were differentfrom those of his contemporaries. As a child, he lived a hard life, beingborn for an Iraqi father and Persian mother. His poetry was like hislife, being a reflection and internal and psychological rebellion. Hewas known as "the poet of wine" because he devoted much of hispoetry to drink. However, he wrote on many other poetic topics suchas satire, love, elegies, and hunting. Abu Nawas rebelled against thetraditional love-opening in classical poems and rejected the tribalpride. He also innovated the use of poetic image depending mainly onmetaphor. He also employed new poetic techniques, unfamiliar themesand succeeded in his rebellion to be followed by numerous poets. Thepaper concludes that Abu Nawas was a true rebellious poet who putdown new bases for poetic innovation in the first Abbasid Age.

Abu Nawas terkenal sebagai tokoh yang arif dan bijaksana serta mampu memecahkan berbagai persoalan dalam kehidupan dengan style humornya yang nyeleneh. Termasuk persoalan kehidupan di Indonesia, yaitu terjadinya penyimpangan akidah, kelalaian bersyari’ah dan kebobrokan akhlak. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kepustakaan dan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis). Pengumpulan data menggunakan study library (menghimpun informasi yang relevan dengan topik atau masalah yang menjadi objek penelitian, informasi tersebut diperoleh dari buku-buku, karya ilmiah, ensiklopedia, internet dan sumber lainnya), observasi dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, data disaring dan disusun lagi, dipaparkan, diverifikasi dan dibuat kesimpulan. Pesan dakwah dalam kisah Abu Nawas mengandung pesan akidah terdiri dari iman kepada Allah Swt. Syariah terdiri dari shalat dan kepengurusan jenazah. Adapun akhlak terdiri dari akhlak kepada Allah dan akhlak terhadap manusia. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan da’I dalam penyampaian pesan di kegiatan dakwahnya. Selain berdakwah di mimbar, bisa juga dengan kegiatan menganalisis suatu teks dalam kisah lalu dituangkan kembali maknanya dalam bentuk tulisan (Dakwah bil-Kitabah). Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap kisah Abu Nawas melalui analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce disimpulkan bahwa pesan dakwah dalam kisah ini menyangkut tentang akidah, syariah dan akhlak.

Abstract:
Using the continental-scale collections of the U.S. Geological Survey's National Water-Quality Assessment (NAWQA) Program, we examined selected members of the family Gomphonemataceae to expand the current state of knowledge of diatom taxonomy, morphology, and distribution. Ten taxa in the genera Gomphonema, Gomphoneis, and Gomphosphenia are examined. The taxonomic status of two taxa is revised, and one new species is described. Two new features are described for the genus Gomphonema: slit-like areolae and ridge-like flaps or flanges on pseudosepta. Many North American gomphonemoid species appear to be restricted to certain geographic regions; the differences between western and eastern North America are striking. Trained analysts have had difficulty identifying and discriminating many of these taxa. We believe that this difficulty, in large part, results from our poor knowledge of the North American flora. Large-scale monitoring programs such as NAWQA, when teamed up with research organizations with common interests, hold great promise to expand our knowledge of the biodiversity of North American ecosystems.Key words: biogeography, Gomphoneis, Gomphonema, Gomphosphenia, National Water-Quality Assessment (NAWQA) Program, taxonomy; ultrastructure.

Abstract:
This study aims to determine the reconstruction of the image of women in the novel Innahu ad-Dam by Nawal El Saadawi who is a militant feminist figure in Egypt. This novel tells of the courage of the female characters in the big demonstration that took place in Tahrir Square, Egypt. The theory used in this research is Jonathan Culler’s theory of literary criticism with the concept of ‘reading as a woman.’ The research method used is descriptive analysis method with consideration of the objects studied are novel texts. The formal object of this research is the reconstruction of the image of women, while the object of this research is the novel Innahu ad-Dam by Nawal El Saadawi. The result of this research is the reconstruction of the image of women described by Nawal El Saadawi. Women who are constructed by socio-culture as weak creatures, in the view of the image of traditional women, in this study the results obtained that the female characters depicted have the image of independent women.
