Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to understand how current marketing research conceptualises natural and traditional products – products that strongly attract consumer attention and capture large and growing market shares yet remain vague and weakly defined by a regulatory framework. The analysis is conducted on systematically selected research articles published in relevant journals over the past two decades. The results show that the natural products are mostly defined by the way they are produced and the ingredients they do not contain, while no consensus was reached for the traditional products. Furthermore, not only is the concept of traditional defined by an unusually large number of themes, but the themes also vary considerably depending on stakeholder group from which they originate, indicating an inevitable communication problem between these groups. The results also show that despite attempts by marketers to link the meanings of the two types of products, the themes in the definitions of natural and traditional products are different and overlap only sporadically. These findings serve as a step toward creating better academic conceptualizations and a more specific regulatory framework for natural and traditional products that will reduce the likelihood of misleading business practises and confusion among consumers and researchers.

Abstract:
In our country the number of people who suffer from chronic sicknesses increase each year. The available drug therapies on the market are not showing efficiency in the results against this sicknesses. Moreover, they produce a big quantity of side effects by its intake or supply, which means to develop less harmful solutions for the health that improves the life quality of patients. In the same way, the support of the family and friends is important to accompany in the in the mourning (the approval of the sickness and changes that will produce in the daily life) and that is why for some “primary caregivers” need the appropriate accompaniment to get to cope and overcome these adverse situations that affect their quality of life. The consumer demand for cannabis oil is on the rise given to the great benefits that have on the treatment of sicknesses such as cancer, epilepsy, and degenerative diseases. Nowadays in Peru, there are no specialized drugstores for the dispensation of cannabis oil that offer a proven traceability and in many cases the black market must be resorted to access this Oleo. The proposal for natural products called “Vida Natural” is to offer cannabis oil in different concentrations, 4%, 10%, and 15% with quality and traceability proven. Our project requires a total investment of S/148,720. Our work team will assume the investment of 60% and we require the funding for S/59,488 to start a business of our enterprising.

Abstract:
This dissertation focuses on the Natural Transition Space and how the natural component, when integrated in models of compact cities, can contribute to a sustainable development of cities. The growth of urban areas is closely related to the processes of settlement of people in cities, induced by the constant changes that mankind has undergone throughout the ages. However, this urban growth has not always occurred according to a careful urban planning, which resulted in the development of cities increasingly deprived of their identity, uncompacted and diluted in the territory, full of breaches, obstacles and bleak wastelands. This situation brings with it several mobility issues, air pollution and consumption, not only of energy and resources, but also of time. The basic premise of this project is to inhibit the phenomenon of urban sprawl, which has been growing over the past decades, while defending the idea of urban compactness, densification and upgrading. This dissertation recommends the construction of models of compact cities that, not only favour the proximity of residential, working, educational, cultural and leisure areas, but also integrate the natural component into the structure of the city in such a way that it will not be considered a disruptive element but a Natural Transition Space. We support the idea that this could be a possible path to a more sustainable future of the cities of tomorrow, where the population will be able to fully achieve a standard of living that matches its needs and expectations.

Abstract:
This research explores the discursive formations involved in two environmental conflicts during which organisations were not permitted to carry out their proposed extractive activities. The conflicts were based on the West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand. The first involved sustainable native logging and the second was over the siting and extension of a gold mine. Extensive archival and media searches were carried out to generate data on the conflicts. Interviews were also conducted to investigate the community position in more depth. The discourse theory of Laclau and Mouffe (2001 [1985]) is drawn upon as a framework to make sense of the conflicts. This framework was particularly useful as it enabled a close and careful examination of the antagonisms and addressed some of the ideological and power concerns with stakeholder analysis. The analysis involved identifying nodal points, subjectivity, subject positions and floating signifiers, which enabled certain hegemonic constructions. The two conflicts were considerably different. The hegemonic constructions were quite similar and the notion of being green emerged as an antagonism that was at the heart of the conflicts and a key to understanding why these business organisations were unsuccessful. That is, who or what is given meaning as being green negates and de-legitimates other activity that is not deemed to be green. In these conflicts business organisations extracting natural resources and subjects supporting these organisational activities could not be green - when being green was constituted in terms of the clean green discourse operating economically and socially within New Zealand (see Bell, 1996). Consequently, not being green was deemed to be outside of what we see as New Zealanders as being important and thus should not occur in this country. This research has implications for business organisations in New Zealand dealing with greening issues, especially as external stakeholders can have considerable influence on organisational activities. Theoretically it argues for a discursive approach to organisational stakeholder analysis in order to address power and subjectivity and for the organisation and natural environment literature to recognise the possibility of multiple meanings of nature. In particular, this thesis contributes to current organisation studies literature by explicitly focusing on nature as a concept. It shows that the meaning attributed to nature is a political process which can have consequences for preventing or enabling significant business organisational activities.

Abstract:

Abstract:
There seems to be enough information available on how different types of radiation may affect human health. There also seems to be adequate research made about NORM and how to handle this phenomenon. The image put forth by this study shows that the appearance of NORM within affected industries do not appear surprising or difficult to deal with. On the contrary it seems to be a well-known issue and safety measures have been adapted accordingly. It appears as if these issues have been overlooked regarding the systems where LNG is being used as a marine fuel. There is not enough data to conclude whether NORM is an issue or not in such systems.

Abstract:
Natural Cosmopolitics presents a spacepower theory that is designed to help policy makers and strategists understand what spacepower is and how states can use it to their benefit. What is offered is a holistic treatment of spacepower that includes the security, civil, and commercial space sectors. It shows how states can employ spacepower as another element of national power in the pursuit of security, prestige, and wealth. Unlike other attempts to produce a spacepower theory that draw on analogies to airpower, seapower, or groundpower, natural cosmopolitics traces its roots from the Big Bang forward. Discussions include the evolution of the Universe, space itself, the solar system, life on Earth, the current state system, and contemporary geopolitics within international relations. Spacepower is presented as a natural outcome of these evolutionary forces, strategically the same as the practice of power in the other operating environments, because the same political processes with the same motivations drive it. It is shown that the advent of spacepower has ushered in a revolution in strategic perspective. The global perspective of the Columbian Epoch is fading away as humanity comes to appreciate the Earth as a tiny little planet in a modest solar system in a Universe that may be filled with more galaxies than people. From this, general and specific principles of natural cosmopolitics are presented along with an analytical tool to help strategists anticipate how other states may respond with spacepower to various stimuli. The role of spacepower in both war and peace is also discussed. Finally, the threat of catastrophic asteroid impacts is analysed and the hypothesis is tested that states will cooperate to provide a planetary defence.

The purpose of this entrepreneurial project is to implement a business focused on unifying the supply and demand of select healthy products through an online platform (marketplace), which seeks to promote and motivate our consumers to adopt a healthier lifestyle. This project was carried out in Metropolitan Lima at SES (Socioeconomic status) "A" and “B”. We adopted a main focus on consumers with digital profiles that seek for dynamism in their purchases. This business model is attractive, since we see there are consumers willing to improve their diet and adopt a healthier lifestyle, but they do not find a place that provides a unified offer of everything they are looking for. Taking advantage that there are few options in the market where the interaction between suppliers and demanders is dynamic, we created Natural Club. This entrepreneurial project allows sellers to offer their selected and high quality products, quickly and easily, just as it is for our consumers to acquire them. All this while taking care of the delivery process, with all the sanitation and hygiene measures, due to Covid-19. For the development of this project, we carry out an exhaustive analysis that covered the following: Validation of the Business Model, Internal and External Analysis and the Development of the Strategic Plan. All the analysis was done with the aim of validating the viability and sustainability of this project.
