Abstract:
In Indonesian positive law there is no rule which specifically and expresslyregulates the authority of the Notary Public to make a statement on the rightto inherit. The Notaries Public make it simply based on costume practiced by theprevious ones. It is not expressly stipulated in Article 15 of Act Number 2 of 2014concerning the Amendment to Act Number 30 of 2004 concerning the Office of NotaryPublic, whereas these Acts are the main rules regulating the Office of NotaryPublic. This condition has significant effect to the evidencing force of the deed onthe statement on the right to inherit made by the Notary Public. This research is normativelegal research and this research is based on library study or secondary data. This research is conducted by analyzing certain problem by studying legislation, literature, and other references related with the authorities of the Notary Public inmaking a statement on the right to inherit and the evidencing force of the deed on thestatement on the right to inherit for the Indonesian citizens of Chinese decent. Fromthe results of the research it can be concluded that the ground for the authority of theNotary Public to make a statement on the right to inherit is Article 111 paragraph(1) letter c of the Regulation of the Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs/Head of the National Land Agency Number 3 of 1997 concerning Implementation ofGovernment Regulation Number 24 of 1997 concerning Implementation, whereasRegulation of State Minister does not include in the hierarchy of legislation in Indonesia. Thus, the making of the deed on statement concerning the right to inheritby the Notary Public is not based on the positive law prevailing in Indonesia. Thesaid deed does not fulfill the physical term of an authentic deed because there is nopositive law regulating expressly and clearly on the authority of the Notary Publicto make a statement on the right to inherit. the evidencing force of the deed on thestatement on the right to inherit made by the Notary Public depends on the truth ofthe content of the said deed

Abstract:
In 1944, Muriel Spark was recruited by the Foreign Office to work as a Duty Secretary in the Political Warfare Executive at Milton Bryan. ‘I played a very small part,’ Spark wrote in her autobiography, ‘but as a fly on the wall I took in a whole world of method and intrigue in the dark field of Black Propaganda or Psychological Warfare, and the successful and purposeful deceit of the enemy.’ Drawing on research in Spark's personal and literary archives at the McFarlin Library, Tulsa, and the National Library of Scotland, this essay explores the ways in which this ‘world of method and intrigue’ is taken in and reformulated in Spark's writing. Political espionage takes centre-stage in several of Spark's fictions, and a preoccupation with secrecy and spying runs through her work. But the methods of black propaganda can also be read as a secret sharer of some of Spark's most characteristic aesthetic strategies. Focusing in particular on Spark's most direct treatment of her secret war work – The Hothouse by the East River – critical tension centres on reading Spark's literary intelligence less as a re-enactment than as a subversion of the logics of disinformation.

Abstract:
Abstract For sustainable development, it is important to ensure healthy life and well-being for all ages, promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, productive employment and decent work, take urgent action to combat climate change and its effects and protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems. Taking into account the negative effects of climate change, the degrading effects of contemporary conventional industrial scale agricultural practices, the declining everyday physical activity of the working age people in developed countries, and other problems related to indoor work, this research proposes the office concept entitled FO-AM (Forest-Office Administrative (function) Movement) that allows to gradually move from sitting to walking while working in purposefully created or adapted forest areas. Numerous studies have been conducted on the positive effects of the natural environment on human health and productivity. A study published by Australian researchers revealed that sitting time is directly linked to all-cause mortality. While research results call for effective innovations for reducing the amount of time spent sitting and encouraging people, especially urban residents, to connect with nature, no effective holistic solutions have been found yet. The article presents a literature review on the contemporary office-nature space integration trends and the existing technical and design solutions and contemporary re-naturalization practices of ex-urban areas and presents the conceptual idea of landscape technology FO-AM allowing to transfer the functions of administrative buildings to the semi-natural and natural environment, including partially anthropogenic environment, park, forest park and natural forest, and in this way to address public health and well-being, economic innovation and climate change issues, thus contributing to the long-term sustainability goals.

Abstract:
One of the 2011 South African National Tourism Sector Strategy objectives is to "provide excellent people development and decent work within the tourism sector". The hospitality industry is, however, not regarded as a provider of decent work and a close link exists between decent work and job satisfaction. External job satisfaction can be defined as satisfaction relating to the work environment of employees. The purpose of this study was to identify the external job satisfaction factors which contribute to overall job satisfaction of employees in selected five-star hotels. The instrument used to gather the quantitative data was a newly developed index based on the literature review conducted. The empirical study was conducted among 124 employees of four five-star hotels in the Western Cape. All three factors identified (supervision, work environment and work itself) were found to be significantly and positively correlated with overall job satisfaction in five-star hotels in the Western Cape.

Abstract:
The primary focus of this paper is on national parks and tourism marketing, where tourism marketing plays a crucial role in reducing poverty and ensuring the quality of life, employment, and decent work for the nation, as well as the preservation of the natural and cultural environment. The interaction between tourism marketing and national parks is the most intimate context in which tourism marketing is increasingly regarded as a powerful tool for socioeconomic development. The purpose of this review is to investigate the environmental, sociocultural, and economic contributions of tourism marketing in and around a national park to strengthen progress on sustainable tourism development by reviewing 55 relevant journal articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. The principal search terms were used to discover the pertinent journal articles. It was discovered that no article with the title “Tourism Marketing and National Parks” existed. Instead, sustainable destinations and ecotourism have been emphasized. The reviews implied that tourism marketers do not engage in the sustainability of national park tourism for future usage and do not care about the environmental conservation of destinations. It's crucial to take into account the features of national parks and their potential value as attractive destinations for tourism development when implementing an effective tourism marketing strategy for national parks and encouraging the sustainable use of the natural environment and resources.

Abstract:
Abstract The International Labour Organization (ILO) defines decent work as the opportunity to carry out productive and adequately remunerated work in conditions of dignity, equality and safety in the workplace, and the right to decent work is recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. To boost global efforts to ensure decent work with a safe and healthy working environment, the ILO has established a system of International Labor Standards (ILS) designed to strengthen opportunities for women and men to obtain decent and productive work, in conditions of equity, security and dignity. Indeed, ILS are either conventions (or protocols), which are binding international treaties, open to ratification by Member States, or recommendations, which are non-binding guidelines. Among the international conventions, ten have been designated as fundamental for human rights, namely the conventions relating to freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining, the elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labor, effective abolition of child labor and elimination of discrimination in employment and occupation, as well as OSH (right to a safe and healthy working environment recognized as one of the fundamental principles and rights at work at the 110th session of the International Labor Conference). The ILO has adopted several conventions and recommendations on OSH which can be classified into three categories: conventions which address the fundamental principles of health and safety at work, conventions which deal with health and safety at work in certain branches of activity and conventions on certain specific risks. Implementing the provisions of these standards at the national level requires a commitment from the government to integrate them into national legislative and regulatory texts; and this in accordance with the directives of the ILO constitution, in particular article 19. In the same sense, the government also undertakes to present to the International Labor Office an annual report on the conventions ratified in accordance with the directives of the ILO constitution, in particular article 22. Furthermore, the said standards constitute a suitable reference framework to support nations in developing and improving their national OSH legislation and policies by providing guidance on the systemic approach to OSH management at all levels, from guidelines for the progressive establishment of a preventive culture based on a continuous provision of information, training and education in matters of OHS and by establishing directives and provisions in matters of OHS to be respected by the administration, employers and workers. Thus, the relevant ILO conventions on OSH, notably the Convention (No. 187) on the promotional framework for safety and health at work, and the Convention (No. 155) on OSH, defined national policies and specified their objectives, stakeholders as well as the tools for their implementation such as the national system and the national OSH program. In conclusion, OSH-ILS provide guidelines and guidance to governments for the development and implementation of public OSH policies, but also constitute a binding framework that can stimulate efforts at the national level and encourage constituents to have public OHS policies.

Abstract:
With the implementation of liberalization and globalization policies, the Indian capital market had experienced a paradigm shift in its overall practices and initiatives. There were significant reforms both in the primary and secondary market. Presently, as per the SEBI guideline a corporate entity wants to raise capital from the primary market must go either through initial public offering (IPO), follow-on-public offer (FPO), rights issue, private placement or through euro issue. The Indian capital market has emerged as one of the prominent demand driver for more participation of foreign institutional investors (FIIs) and domestic financial institutions (DFIs). Earlier the middle class investors have little option to put their hard earned money in productive investment avenues. They usually preferred the fixed deposit offered by banks or post office. The traditional investment instruments were hugely popular because they were safe, gave decent returns and were easy to invest in. But today, investors find that traditional instruments are more about wealth preservation than wealth creation, when they are better served by investment alternatives like mutual funds and IPOs. Key Words: capital market, primary and secondary market, initial public offering (IPO), foreign institutional investors (FIIs), traditional instruments

Abstract:
PurposeWhat matters most for improving work quality and who can make a difference are perennial topics in employee relations research. The literature on work quality provides answers to these with regard to various constructs on a continuum from “soft” to “hard” variables and stakeholders seeking to influence employers who fall short of reasonable expectations with regard to these. A construct of “decent work” with both soft and hard variables was adopted for research and methods which were collaborative and participative with stakeholders in one national context.Design/methodology/approachThe “decent work” construct was operationalised from the literature and refined by collaborative and participative research. Exploring the relative importance of the constituent parts of decent work involved research with a range of stakeholders; employees, employers and advocates. The study involved most prominently low-paid workers, with employers and advocates also engaged through interviews.FindingsPrimarily hard “decent work” variables were identified among employees, primarily soft variables among employers and a mix of hard and soft among advocates. There are some common priorities across these stakeholders.Research limitations/implicationsThe main implication is that to engage a range of stakeholders requires a combination of soft and hard variables to be included in research and policy development. However, generalisation about what matters most and who makes a difference to work quality is intrinsically limited in context and time. In this research, the extent of employer engagement in the collaboration initiated by advocates and concerned most with the experiences of low-paid workers is a limitation.Practical implicationsWhat matters most are a set of soft and hard priorities to engage across stakeholders. Pay is an abiding priority among these and the priority most prominent for many advocates seeking to make a difference through influencing low-paying employers to provide a living wage. While the living wage is a significant focus for work quality, it is not in itself sufficient, as other soft and hard variables in the workplace matter as well. Those who can make a difference are the employers falling short of benchmark standards. Influence on these may emerge through decent work knowledge and skills in management and professional development programmes as well as in initiatives advocating wider adoption of the living wage.Social implicationsProblem areas of work quality, and problem employers, can be influenced by strategies shaping “hard” factors, including legislation. This needs to be complemented and integrated with strategies on “soft” factors, including identifying positive role models on themes of well-being, work–life balance and precarious forms of employment, as well as pay.Originality/valueThe identification of what matters and who can make a difference is based on an original, collaborative, research project, in one national context, offering analytical generalisability about “decent work” and an experience of collaborative research.

Abstract:
The “language” career of Ferenc Herczeg in a nutshell is: how the German speaking boy from the Banat Swabian region (today in Romania) became the Hungarian playwright who put Hungarian drama on the path to European success. He was a committed writer of national endeavors and the creator of successful Hungarian prose and dramatic oeuvre. The subject of the research is to explain how Ferenc Herczeg’s “language program” became so successful since: “There was no other foreign speaker who learned Hungarian as well as Ferenc Herczeg” (Hegedűs). Examining the language path, research may explain the adaptation considered to be the key to success and the contribution of the author’s bilingualism to the foundation of success. In the case of Herczeg, social, cultural, and linguistic assimilation was so successful that it gave rise to countless speculations. The majority of the criticism seeks the social adaptation and reflects less on linguistic assimilation. The item to prove is that Herczeg, a German speaking boy of Swabian decent, became Hungarian because of literature-centric Hungarian culture.

The practice of telework, remote work, and working from home has grown significantly across the pandemic era (2020+). These practices offer new ways of working but come with a lack of clarity as to the role it plays in supporting the wellbeing of staff. (1) Background: The purpose of this study is to examine the current literature on wellbeing outcomes and effects of telework; (2) Methods: This study adopts a systematic literature review from 2000–2022 using the PRISMA approach and thematic analysis guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (Wellbeing, Decent Work, Gender Equality, and Inclusive Production); (3) Results: It was evident that there is a lack of clarity on the actual effects of telework on employee wellbeing, but it appeared that it had a generally positive effect on the short-term wellbeing of staff, and created more flexible and proactive work design opportunities; (4) Conclusions: There is a need for more targeted research into work designs that support wellbeing and productivity of staff, and consider the environmental sustainability changes from reduced office and onsite work and increased working from home.

This ‘national archive’ has proven quite adequate for these purposes.

Abstract:
Objective: After the COVID 19 pandemic, the regular examinations of the patients with arterial hypertension were restarted in the ambulatory cardiological practice. 297 visits were done in one such outpatient clinic in the city center of Sofia, Bulgaria during the first 9 month of 2023. The aim of or study was to estimate the control rate of the office blood pressure and the hypertension mediated target organ damage, evaluated with echocardiography. Design and method: The patients were with mean age 62 years/18-87/.193 were women and 106 men. They were examined by cardiologist, an ECG was performed, and their office blood pressure was measured according to the ESH recommendations.Only 25 patients underwent 24 hours ABPM. According to the regulations of the National Health Care Fund, the patients with arterial hypertension should be referred for echocardiography every 2 years, so we analyzed the results, entered in their medical records. Results: 52% of the subjects were with good control of the office blood pressure/below 140/90 mm Hg/ and this percentage is comparable with the results from the recent real world data trails in Bulgaria. 71% of them fulfill the criteria for grade 1 diastolic dysfunction with E/A less than 1. 64% of the patients were with left ventricular hypertrophy, defined as left ventricular wall thickness greater than 11 mm. And 64% of them had LA diameter greater than 40 mm. Conclusions: Despite of the decent control of the office blood pressure almost 2/3 of the patients had data for hypertension mediated target organ damage from their routine echocardiography. This may be a result of the delay of the initiation of the therapy or more probably of the insufficient time under control That is why we must strongly encourage wider implementation of ABPM and home BP monitoring in ambulatory cardiology practice in Bulgaria.

Abstract:In 1969, a public debate between President Nixon and Congress took place during the legislative passage of the National Environmental Policy Act and centered on two very different and competing conceptions of how presidential advice should be organized in the Executive Office of the President. It focused on the proposed establishment of the Council on Environmental Quality. The outcome of the ensuing battle represented a complete victory for congressional interests against the expressed wishes of the president. The nature of the debate has been overlooked in the literature on the presidency, but it highlights fundamental issues about agency design and presidential control of the institutional presidency. It also highlights broader concerns about the degree of congressional involvement in shaping the Executive Office of the President.

Abstract:
The Constitution states that every citizen has the right to work and a decent living for humanity, reinforced by the Manpower Act that every worker/laborer has the right to earn an income that fulfills a decent living for humanity. In achieving this goal, the state establishes a "Minimum Wage" based on a survey of the basic needs of a single worker for one month called the Decent Living Needs (KHL). The Government issued Government Regulation 78 of 2015 concerning Wages which regulates the formula for setting minimum wages based on inflation and national economic growth, the components of the decent living necessities that were previously used as a basis for stipulations are no longer used. This type of research is normative juridical legal research, using the IRAC analysis approach (issue, rule, analysis, conclusion) to draw a conclusion. Data and data sources used are primary data and secondary data with the procedure of collecting literature and field studies. From the results of the study the Impact of the Implementation of the Minimum Wage Formula in Accordance with Government Regulation Number 78 Year 2015 Regarding Wages Against Workers' Welfare is the average increase in wages in Bekasi district, five years before and after the formula was put in place experienced a significant decrease. The minimum wage, which was five years earlier above the KHL, is now below the KHL. The formula also makes wage increases as a percentage flat, resulting in wider regional wage disparities. The problems studied are: 1. The mechanism for setting minimum wages before and after the birth of PP 78 of 2015 concerning wages. 2. The impact of the implementation of the minimum wage formula in accordance with PP 78 of 2015 concerning wages for workers' welfare. Set in contemporary France in the wake of the 2015 terrorist attacks, and loosely inspired by Zeniter’s own family history, the book follows Naïma, a young woman of Algerian decent who grapples with a largely unknown and misconstrued harki heritage. Drawing on Marianne Hirsch’s concept of postmemory, this article investigates intergenerational transmission of memory, trauma, and silence around themes such as war, exile and integration.

Abstract:
US free trade agreements comprise unique provisions that enable civil society to present public complaints against labor rights violations occurring in the US or its trade partners. To date, a variety of complainants have used these mechanisms, including (inter)national trade unions, human rights organizations, and a priest. And yet, little is known about the submissions’ nature of agency and the effects it has on the procedural continuations to address illicit labor practices. To fill this research lacuna, this article employs a multidisciplinary framework of ‘actorness’ that measures the submitters’ diversity (professionalism/non-professionalism, collectivism/individualism, transnationalism/nationalism) and their effectiveness (rejection/acceptance of submissions and further procedural follow-ups). Combining quantitative examination with in-depth analysis of two diverse cases of actorness, and drawing on expert interviews, public reports, and minutes of meetings, the study reveals that the majority of public submissions were of professional, collective, and transnational nature. However, contrary to what extant literature suggests, this is not a guarantee that they achieve more far-reaching procedural steps in the protection of workers. Non-professional, individual, and national actorness can compensate for the advantages of professionalism, collectivism, and transnationalism.

Abstract:
Abstract Following the death of the incumbent Henry James Pye in 1813, the office of poet laureate came under scrutiny from press, court and government figures alike, and was eventually bestowed upon Robert Southey, having first been turned down by Walter Scott. This article examines the selection process and questions why, after a century in which the reputation of the office had fallen so far, it provoked such concern in 1813, and was suddenly thought an appropriate office for such pre-eminent ‘geniuses’ as Scott and Southey. Situating the selection process in the context of recent scholarship on national identity, cultural production and public opinion, it will be argued that the laureateship in 1813 can give us a unique and illuminating perspective on ideas of Britishness, patriotism and literature at the start of the nineteenth century, and of the place of court and public with regards to these ideas. In particular, the case of the laureateship demonstrates the variety, contingency and usability of notions of Britishness during the Napoleonic Wars: the ways that different agents invoked and thereby fashioned competing national identities in accordance with the needs of their discursive contexts. One possible constellation of Britishness, which came to the fore in the Liverpool ministry’s prosecution of the war effort and in the contest between the Edinburgh and Quarterly Reviews, validated ‘traditional’ forms of cultural production and patriotism in which court—and laureateship—played a crucial part.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the level of utilization, and the impact of the use of E-Filing on the level of taxpayer compliance at the East Medan Pratama Tax Service Office. This study uses a qualitative approach with the analytical descriptive research method. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of literature studies, interviews, and also field research. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the E-Filing system at KPP Pratama Medan Timur is in accordance with the provisions of tax administration and tax laws and regulations. The level of utilization of E-Filing has been effectively running well and has met the late target set by KPP Medan Timur and the implementation of E-Filing has not had a positive impact in terms of increasing taxpayer compliance, this can be seen from the decreased level of taxpayer compliance every year. This study shows that although the implementation and utilization measure of E-Filing system is considered decent, it turns out that E-Filing system has no effect on the measure of taxpayer compliance.

Abstract:
Bleaching has become the treatment of choice for most tooth discolorations. In-office bleaching and at-home bleaching are the most frequently performed vital tooth bleaching techniques. Both of these techniques are proven to improve tooth discoloration, but unwanted effects can also occur, such as tooth sensitivity and increased tooth enamel surface roughness. Tooth sensitivity is a common side effect of bleaching procedures and the effect of bleaching on dental hard tissue is still a matter of controversy. This literature aims to conduct an integrative literature study with scientific evidence related to the potential results, enamel surface roughness, and tooth sensitivity in in-office bleaching and at-home bleaching techniques. Method: Analyzing journals from databases such as Medline (PubMed), Ebsco, Google Scholar, textbooks, and accredited national journals. Conclusion: This review reveals that at-home bleaching has the same potential as in-office bleaching in lightening tooth color. Higher tooth sensitivity was found in in-office bleaching, however in at-home bleaching with 20% carbamide peroxide the tooth sensitivity could be higher. An increase in tooth enamel surface roughness can occur in both techniques, but the at-home bleaching technique is more influential

Abstract:
An implicit assumption underlying the gender stereotyping literature is that female candidates have an advantage in local elections. Two factors motivate this assumption. First, some local issues, such as the provision of social services, fit into the stereotypic strengths of female politicians. Second, as the level of office increases, so too does the perceived masculinity of the office. Research on local policymaking, however, indicates that the tasks associated with local political offices, such as economic competition with other cites, require masculine rather than feminine qualities. I integrate research on local policymaking with the gender stereotyping literature to clarify the role of gender stereotypes in local elections. Using two national survey experiments, I find that female candidates, especially Republican female candidates, benefit from emphasizing masculine stereotypes and not feminine stereotypes.

Abstract:
The problem of interpretation of anthropological artistic images by Fyodor Buslaev is considered in the article; those are presented in monuments of national literature. Tracing sources of origin of the aesthetic ideas in the most ancient forms of language, Fyodor Buslaev made an attempt to explain development of artistic views of the people of antiquity. He connected this long process with infl uence and interaction of many factors – evolution of religious mythological ideas and epic creative work, streamlining of matrimonial relations, more rational distribution of gender and role functions in everyday life, formation of of gender identity idea, origin of moral imperatives. Mythology and folklore gave him an opportunity to highlight changes of female images (from mannish battle-axes to owners of a classical ideal of beauty); the sage explained their aestheticisation with change of female essence criteria ideas and "canons" of female attractivity. Fyodor Buslaev came to a conclusion which was later confi rmed by Vladimir Propp and Aron Gurevich – indicators of external appeal of both women and men were inalienable from ethical estimates by society which considered moral nobility, decent conduct of life of mythical and epic characters.

Life that comes from food must inevitably be fulfilled, the involvement of the local economy will inevitably bring serious challenges. So it is reasonable to say that globalization will bring benefits if the response of national and local governments can properly mobilize local resources. The resources that are owned in relation to farming groups cannot be separated from the role of local governments in efforts to improve a decent life for farmers and the farming groups themselves. The research was carried out at the Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation Service of Sorong Regency against the Farmers Group in Salawati District from June to September 2020. This research used descriptive methods by survey and cross sectional methods which used samples from the Department of Agriculture and farming groups in the District. Salawati. The analysis used is a Likert scale and a frequency table. Based on the results of the analysis, the role of the Agricultural Instructor as Motivator, Facilitator, Communicator and Innovator is in the very good category, while the participation of farmers in the role of the Dinas is in the Good category. Thus the suggestion that is conveyed is the active role of every institution involved both as extension workers and farmers who are pro-active in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. The National Land Agency has the authority to deal with the land-related issues. One of the land disputes that frequently occurs in society is overlapping. The purpose of this research is to determine the process of resolving land pwnership disputes in the Cianjur region. The research findings indicate that the causes of overlapping are negligence of surveying officers from the Land Office or the National Land Office and the lack of public awareness among the community, especially landowners, to utilize and use their land according to the purpose of granted rights, as well as the failure to mark the boundaries of the land. Abstract This paper considers examples of women successfully running as independents at the national level in the Middle East, investigating how existing electoral systems impacted their ability to contest political office. Women in the region face a host of challenges when it comes to launching political campaigns outside of sociocultural norms. Most extant literature on political participation focuses on parties as the primary vector for female participation in the Global North and South. However, women in the Middle East often cannot rely on this mechanism due to the absence of political parties or existing parties’ unwillingness to back women for cultural reasons. Yet, the region hosts many female independents holding office at the national level. Through the cases of Jordan, Egypt, and Oman, I unpack this phenomenon using an institutional argument and assess what the emergence of such candidates bodes for the future of women in the Middle East.

The article is devoted to the scientific analysis of Ukraine’s economic activity under the conditions of European integration processes. It is stressed that the value of the current economic activity is primarily determined by the processes of globalization, the formation of market relations, need for creation of guarantees in these conditions that will ensure a decent life for all members of society because of the need for ensuring the economic and overall national security of Ukraine. However, it is necessary to consider that the access to world markets and formation of an open economy also mean an internal stability of the economy and financial system of the state. The purpose of the article is to clarify the concept of banking security, its main components and levels of development. The report data of the Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine for the last years have been analysed. It also testifies about the lack of control and superficial attitude of the controlling bodies towards the processes of the banking sphere criminalization. It is determined that the DGF indicators do not correspond to those of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine reports regarding the crimes committed in the sphere of banking. The government of Ukraine should focus on domestic reforms, the creation of living standards, economics and politics in Ukraine, which are as close as possible to European. Only then it is possible to implement effective mechanisms aimed at neutralizing, minimizing the impact and eliminating the phenomena and factors leading to the creation of external and internal threats to the state’s financial security.

The phenomenon of the COVID-19 pandemic forces the world community to transform into the world of work through the implementation of work from home. Many offices, especially in Indonesia, make use of various information systems and applications to facilitate work. Automation studies in the office environment are being studied again. The classic problem faced by most offices in Indonesia is that the automation system used is not integrated, one of which is the filing system. Most filing systems are limited to storing databases and tracking information. The archiving system model that is considered integrated, not limited to database storage and information retrieval, is the open journal system used by Indonesian national journals. This study aims to analyze the open journal system as a model for implementing the concept of office automation. The research object used is the open journal system used by accredited national journals in the social and humanities field. Data obtained through participatory observation of the open journal system used, in-depth interviews with journal managers, and literature studies. The data were processed and analyzed using the data triangulation approach. The results showed that the open journal system is an implementation of the concept of comprehensive office automation. However, it is necessary to conduct a study regarding the security and authentication of the metadata that is created on the system.

This study aims to investigate the social empowerment of underprivileged and low-income communities through both formal and non-formal education in Cirebon City, West Java. The research method used is a literature study that focuses on the theme of Community Social Empowerment, formal and non-formal education. Resources come from secondary data in the form of public documents from the Office of Social Workers and Transmigration; Strategic Plan Document (RENSTRA) Cirebon City Education Office 2016-2021; and relevant literature. The results of the study consist of two sub-discussions. First, social empowerment of underprivileged communities through formal education is carried out in a simple and synergistic manner in accordance with the conditions of the community. Second, empowerment of low-income communities through non-formal channels is carried out through the concept of the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) and the Course & Training Institute (LKP). Both educational programs are said to be successful if there is a change for the better where the influence can be seen in the formation of characters such as self-confidence, creativity, and individual independence. The expected implication is that local governments can evaluate the Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) of the Cirebon City Education Office for 2016-2021 and carry out intense collaboration by collaborating with the private sector and educational institutions so that in the future, community social empowerment has a better contribution to national development. Abstract:
ABSTRACT Background The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and Pediatrics Review Committee (RC) recommends the clinical procedures residents should master during their training. These guidelines may be partially based on consensus opinion or tradition rather than actual need. The literature defining which procedures general pediatricians actually perform in practice is limited. Objective Our objective was to determine how often general pediatricians perform procedures recommended by accreditation bodies, how well prepared they feel to perform them, and how important the procedures are to their practice. Methods We categorized recommended procedures as emergent, urgent, or office-based, then developed and administered a survey in 2017 based on these classes. We randomly sampled and polled 439 general pediatricians from urban, suburban, or rural regions across central Ohio. Responses were compared using the Welch ANOVA, Mann Whitney U, and post-hoc tests. Results The response rate was 60% (265 of 439). Pediatricians almost never performed 11 of 13 recommended procedures, yet felt well prepared to perform them all and believed that all were important. Rural pediatricians performed significantly more emergent and office-based procedures and rated them as more important. Commonly performed non-ACGME/RC procedures were circumcision, wart removal, cerumen removal, umbilical cauterization, and suture removal. Conclusions Findings suggest that pediatricians rarely perform most of the recommended procedures, but think they are important. There are several office-based non-ACGME recommended procedures that pediatricians commonly perform. Regional differences suggest the need for customized training based on future practice plans.

The welfare state not only encompasses the organization of welfare or social services but emphasizes that everyone is entitled to social services as their right. The polarization of the goals of the welfare state is formulated to establish indicators as tools for assessing whether society is prosperous or not. Speaking of the concept of the rule of law, Islam as a perfect religion also has a concept of statehood. The methodological approach in this research is normative legal research (normative juridical). The type of research used is descriptive research. The data sources obtained by the author are primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. The data collection method used in this research is literature study. The data analysis method used in this research is qualitative method. The results of social welfare that have developed today indicate that there are citizens whose basic needs are not adequately met by the state. As a result, there are still citizens who face obstacles in the implementation of social functions, making it difficult for them to lead a dignified and decent life. Islam is not just a religion that contains a set of ritual doctrines, but Islam is a holistic and systematic worldview. Islam as al-din encompasses all aspects of human life, including statehood and law.

Abstract:
The primary aim of this article is to represent the current state of knowledge about the nature and extent of immigrant and minority political incorporation in Canada at the national level. It pays particular attention to activities associated with mass-level political participation, although some consideration is given to office seeking and office holding as indicators of involvement in elite-level politics. The most general conclusion available from the literature is that newcomers and minorities are significantly engaged in Canadian politics. Also identified in the literature are various independent variables that contribute to explaining why some individuals and groups, including different origin categories, are more politically engaged than others. Some of these variables have relevance in the context of a secondary goal pursued here, namely, reflecting on and illustrating how dedicated comparative research of the Canadian and American cases can enhance understanding of political incorporation in one or both countries. The discussion leads to the conclusion that there is enormous potential for many fruitful lines of inquiry.

Rural planning is in a state of flux, covering a range of topics. The objectives of planning have evolved over the years. To get an overview of the evolving themes and narratives on rural planning in China, a literature review is conducted here using text mining considering 145 papers published in Web of Science. Attention is given to trends over time in terms of the topics covered. Six evolving themes are revealed, namely: providing affordable and decent life under industrialization and urbanization progress, national ecological programs and practices, building a new (socialist) countryside and rural−urban relationship in planning, land planning and restructuring, rural tourism planning and activities, and other themes. It is highlighted that strategies and knowledge of “development” are a common instructional epistemology among agro-industrialism, agro-ruralism, scientific rationalism, and “economy oriented” humanism.

Abstract The restructuring of Malaysia’s water services industry, initiated by the Federal Government in 2008, aimed to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework encompassing both water supply and sewerage services. In line with this initiative, Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) undertook the acquisition of water assets from the state, as part of the National Water Services Industry Restructuring Initiative. The acquisition was conducted based on the one-time book value of the state’s water assets, aligned with their corresponding liabilities. However, this common practice faced technical challenges owing to constraints encountered by the land office, leading to unapproved land alienation applications and subsequent delays in the issuance of titles for the acquired water assets. Despite the significance of the matter, the discourse surrounding water assets, particularly concerning land alienation and title issuance, has received insufficient attention in the existing literature. This research seeks to address the challenges faced by the land office in issuing land titles for water assets within the restructured water services industry. Engaging a qualitative mode of inquiry, content document analysis was employed, utilizing the READ approach, to scrutinize pertinent statutes, acts, policies, and procedures of the land office. The study’s outcomes disclose the existence of fifteen (15) challenges spanning diverse aspects such as government policies, administrative procedures, and the pivotal engagement of land office personnel. Conversely, these challenges also pertain to the activities and contributions of applicants and stakeholders, albeit through indirect channels. By identifying these challenges, key stakeholders, especially the land office and PAAB, can better address problematic applications, expedite the process of land ownership for water assets, and significantly contribute to the overall enhancement of the national initiative restructuring Malaysia’s water supply service industry.

Abstract:
Eradication of corruption requires cooperation between state institutions. The weakness of criminal law settlement does not return state losses. There is a Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and the Prosecutor's Office regarding the handling of public reports on allegations of corruption in local governments. The purpose of this study is to analyze the handling of corruption cases based on positive Indonesian law and the obstacles faced by law enforcement officers in implementing the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Prosecutor's Office, and the National Police against Article 4 of the Corruption Eradication Act. The approach used in this research is the legal approach. This research data collection technique was carried out through conventional literature searches and online. The data analysis technique used in this study is qualitative because the data is presented in a narrative-descriptive manner. The results of the study indicate that law enforcement for criminal acts of corruption is carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30 of 2002. The Indonesian National Police based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2002 and the Criminal Procedure Code has the authority to conduct investigations and investigations in special criminal cases. corruption. The Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 16 of 2004 has explicitly stated that the Prosecutor's Office has the authority to investigate criminal acts of corruption. The authority to adjudicate cases of criminal acts of corruption is regulated in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 46 of 2009. The Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Police, and the Prosecutor's Office hampers the law enforcement process carried out by the Police and the Prosecutor's Office in processing suspected perpetrators of corruption. Every report of corruption from the public is not immediately followed up by the Police and the Prosecutor's Office as law enforcement officers. The case was first examined by the government's internal supervisory apparatus. With the cooperation agreement, law enforcement officers cannot follow up on reports and evidence.
