Abstract:
Vård har under en längre tid varit i förändring och patienters förväntningar på vården likaså. Ökade kostnader i sjukvården har drivit fram ny teknik som också gjort vård i hemmet mer tillgänglig. Samtidigt gör skiftet mot mer vård i hemmiljö att bristen på teknisk infrastruktur och patientens integritet kräver ökat fokus. Användarens synvinkel är en aspekt som är viktig vid introduktion av teknik i vård och hälsa på ett generellt plan och i synnerhet om teknik ska användas och vad som gör att det fortsätter användas. En handfull ramverk för användning av teknik i hälsa och vård har undersökts. Ett konceptuellt ramverk för anammande och spridning knyter samman teknik, roller och problem med en bredare kontext. Ett annat ramverk diskuterar fortsatt användande utifrån bland annat patientens personliga behov, hälsostatus, livshändelser och sociala influenser. Det ramverk som valdes som verktyg för studien var NASSS-ramverket som genom att undersöka användandet i sju domäner: Sjukdomens karaktär, Teknologin, Identifierade värden, Ansvar och roller, Organisationen, Den breda kontexten och Anpassning och inkluderande över tid används för att utvärdera användning i en organisation i kommunal regi genom en fallstudie. Studien använde semistrukturerade intervjuer för att ställa frågor till användare kopplade till NASSS-ramverket. Materialet analyserades med hjälp av innehållsanalys och kategoriserades. Med ramverket kunde sedan användandet utvärderas enligt följande: Användandet har passerat slutpunkterna Icke-anammande, Övergivande, Ingen uppskalning lokalt, Misslyckad spridning och Hållbarhet på sikt. Dock riskeras hållbarheten längre fram. Vidare kunde den samlade analysen jämföras mot komplexitet i ramverkets domäner. Där var 8 att betrakta som Enkla, 10 som Komplicerade och 2 som Komplexa vilket också väl speglar svårigheter för användandet av tekniken i organisationen. Slutligen summerades även försvårande faktorer som framkommit

The selection of targeted survey questions and the design of survey questionnaires are instrumental in the social networks research. With the accelerating growth of theory and experimental knowledge in the area of social network analysis, there is a need for a centralized questionnaire database system for the collection and appropriate utilization of these questions and feedbacks used for social networks research. Our project aims to provide a content-driven back-end database system and an online user interface to assist researchers to make intelligent selection of survey questions and design of questionnaires based on current area-specific knowledge within social network analysis.

Mitt arbete blir från en eko filosofisk synvinkel, och den konsthantverkbaserade scenografin som kommer skapas är baserad på vår/min syn på relation mellan naturen och människan. Många har tankar om just detta, det känns angeläget att kunna skapa en miljö där detta finns som en underton och att skapa en subtil miljö där jag jobbar med det taktila arbete, - evighetsarbeten, baserade på mitt eget formspråk. Jag vill utforska minatankar och undersöka hur jag kan betrakta och visa detta från olika vinklar.Ett ställe där natur och av människan skapade objekt samspelar, men där naturenblir styrd av objektens väggar, blommor kan tränga sig igenom kompakta materialsom asfalt och nerbrytningsprocessen är en oändlig del av detta. Med dessa flaskor vill jag visa hur naturen fångas in i ett bestämt element och lever av det som serveras den.

Abstract:
The goal of this thesis is the analysis of ways of graphic form of algorithms and their editors, design of editor for making kopenograms from source code and implementation of this editor what will work as part of plugin made for the NetBeans IDE. In the beginning of the thesis will be described a principles of structured programing, enlisted used ways of visualization of source code -- modeling language UML and other possibilities of graphic form of algorithm like flowchart diagrams, Nassi-Shneiderman diagrams, Jackson diagrams and especially not as well-known kopenograms. In the second part of the thesis is described creation of editor used to visualization of kopenograms. In the chapters is described structure of creating of application, the editors what are available for its creation, phase of creating editor and final testing for approve of the success. Part of the thesis is also a user guide for beginning with this program. Application what was made in this thesis is part of the plugin BJ2NB and will be used for education support of programming and algorithms on The University of Economics, Prague.

Uppsatsen tar upp Arne Naess djupekologi. Den undersöker djupekologins struktur och vilka krav som ställs på en teori för att den skall vara en djupekologi. Uppsatsen tar även upp skillnader mellan djupekologi och grundekologi på en praktisk nivå. Uppsatsen behandlar Warwick Fox kritik rörande djupet i djupekologin och Arne Naess svar på den kritiken. Författaren till uppsatsen finner att Fox kritik inte är helt träffande och att Naess svar på kritiken är för svag.


This paper discusses Arne Naess’ theory of deep ecology. It investigates the structure of deep ecology and what conditions a theory has to fulfil to be a deep ecology. The paper demonstrates differences between deep ecology and shallow ecology on a practical level. The paper presents a criticism put forward by Warwick Fox which focuses on the deepness of deep ecology, and an answer from Arne Naess on this criticism. The author of this paper finds Fox’ criticism not quite convincing, and that Naess’ answer is too weak.

O comportamento territorial é exibido por animais que competem por recursos dentro de uma área específica defendida. Ao excluir competidores potenciais desta área através de comportamentos agressivos, os indivíduos territoriais garantem acesso prioritário aos recursos essenciais para sua sobrevivência e reprodução. Em anfíbios anuros, a territorialidade tem sido relacionada principalmente com espécies de reprodução prolongada, cujos sítios reprodutivos estão disponíveis durante todo o ano. O presente trabalho foi realizado em um trecho de riacho na Floresta da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Foram realizadas quatro visitas consecutivas a área de amostragem em cada mês (abril/2009 à agosto/2010). O objetivo foi responder questões sobre a territorialidade dos indivíduos da espécie Hylodes nasus: (área de vida, fidelidade ao sítio, comportamentos agonísticos e combates físicos). As áreas de vida dos machos apresentaram relação significativa com o número de recapturas. O tamanho da área de vida das fêmeas foi ligeiramente maior do que dos machos. Os machos apresentaram maior fidelidade do que as fêmeas. A fidelidade apresentou resultado significativo com o CRC e a massa corporal dos indivíduos. Foram observadas 50 interações agonísticas entre machos, sendo exibidos 11 comportamentos agressivos. Foram observados 19 combates físicos, sendo os machos envolvidos classificados como residente, intruso, vencedor ou perdedor. Todas as disputas foram vencidas por indivíduos residentes. Informações a respeito da influência de fatores ambientais sobre a população de H. nasus, aspectos da estrutura populacional e descrição do microhábitat também são fornecidos.
The territorial behavior is exhibited by animals that compete for resources within a specific defended area. By excluding potential competitors in this area through aggressive behavior, territorialist individuals ensure priority access to essential resources for their survival and reproduction. In anuran amphibians, territoriality has been mainly related to prolonged-breeding species, whose breeding sites are available throughout the year. This study was conducted in a portion of the river in the Tijuca Forest, Rio de Janeiro. There were four consecutive visits to the sampling area in each month (April/2009 to August/2010). The objective was to answer questions about the territorial behavior of Hylodes nasus (home range, site fidelity, agonistic behaviors and physical fighting). The males home range showed a significant relation with number of recapture. The home range estimated for females was slightly larger than males. Males have higher site fidelity than females. The site fidelity showed a significant relation with individuals' SVL and body mass. There were observed 50 agonistic encounters between males, showing 11 aggressive behaviors. There were observed 19 physical fights with males being classified as resident, intruder, winner or loser. All contests were won by resident individuals. Information about the influence of environmental factors on the population of H. nasus, aspects of population structure and description of microhabitat are also provided.

Abstract:
The problem was that much effort was being put into an alliance for preparing school leaders with little evidence concerning how effective such groups were in promoting positive change. The purpose of this study was to provide a historical background for the National Alliance for Developing School Leaders that included the rationale for the endeavor, the identification of key actors and their roles, and perceived changes resulting from Alliance affiliation. The information gleaned from the study was intended to answer the formulated research questions. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and through examination of relevant documents. Data were coded and clustered to assist with the organization of a plethora of information. The information was then used to tell the story of the National Alliance for Developing School Leaders as told by those directly involved in the conception and development of the Alliance. Evidence indicated that change had occurred as a result of the National Alliance for Developing School Leaders, however, the degree of change experienced varied across university sites. Conclusions drawn indicated that the Alliance provided faculty and students exposure to new materials and teaching techniques, opportunities for increased presentations and publications, higher visibility, professional development opportunities that included area school administrators, and increased professional dialogue regarding changes needed in administrator preparation programs. Evidence existed that more on-site visits and opportunities to dialogue about the successes of each program as well as the difficulties encountered by the universities attempting to change their preparation programs were desired by Alliance participants. Participants reflected on their experiences resulting from involvement with the National Alliance for Developing School Leaders and then shared insights regarding essentials necessary for successful multiorganizational collaborative efforts.

Abstract:
The purpose of this dissertation is to examine the occurrence of facial fractures in automotive collisions and to determine the tolerance of the facial bones to blunt impact. The effects of restraint use, impact severity and impact direction on facial fractures were evaluated using the NASS-CDS database. The association between brain injury and facial fractures was also examined. The tolerance of the frontal bone, nasal bone, maxilla and mandible was determined using the flat surface of a cylindrical impactor. The influence of anthropometric measures and geometrical descriptors on the tolerance of the facial bones is also presented. The force-displacement response of each impacted region was also determined and response corridors were created. These corridors were used to evaluate the biofidelity of the FOCUS headform under the same impact conditions. Mathematical models were also created to predict the force and displacement resulting from facial impact. The data contained in this dissertation can be used to determine the risk of facial fracture as a function of impact force and evaluate the biofidelity of models simulating facial impact.

Abstract:
This thesis examines the connections between Arne Naess's Deep Ecology and Martin Heidegger's Phenomenology. The latter provides a philosophical basis for the former. Martin Heidegger's critique of traditional metaphysics and his call for an "event" ontology that is deeper than the traditional substance ontology opens a philosophical space in which a different conception of what it is to be emerges. Heidegger's view of humans also provides a basis for the wider and deeper conception of self Arne Naess seeks: one that gets rid of the presupposition that human beings are isolated subjects embedded in a framework of objects distinct from them. Both Heidegger and Naess illustrate how the substance-ontological dogma affects human culture, encouraging humans to live as if they were divorced from their environmental surroundings. When humans live according to an atomistic conception of themselves as independent from their context, alienation results, not only from each other, and not only of humans from the surrounding environment, but from themselves as well. This thesis focuses on Heidegger's employment of the conception of poiesis or self-bringing-forth as clarifying the "root" of such ecosystemic processes as growth, maturation, reproduction, and death. Thus, Heidegger's call to phenomenology -- "to the things themselves" -- is a call away from the objectifying dichotomies through which substance ontology articulates the world into isolated components. It is the purpose of this thesis to demonstrate not only the connections between the later Heidegger and Naess, but also to argue in favor of their claims that traditional philosophical perspectives regarding humans, the environment, and ethics need to be re-appropriated in a new way in order to avoid further ecological degradation and provide for the health and well being of the future generations that will inevitably inherit the effects of our present actions.

A Deep Ecology insere-se nas Éticas Ambientais como uma perspectiva ecocêntrica, no seu sentido holístico, com alguns traços do biocentrismo igualitário. É uma perspectiva que incentiva o activismo ambiental, influenciando diversas organizações ambientalistas, e que assenta em princípios religiosos e filosóficos. O seu fundador é Arne Naess, filósofo Norueguês que traçou um percurso particular, com diversas influências, desde Filosofias espirituais Orientais, onde se insere Ghandi, defensor do princípio da não-violência; ao Panteísmo de Espinosa, que em paralelo com o Budismo atribui à Deep Ecology o carácter de uma ontologia. Por ser um movimento que apela a uma alteração de consciência, defendendo o despertar de uma consciência ecológica, é muitas vezes considerado radical e associado a actos de violência, como terrorismo ambiental, e a críticas de teor discriminatório, como a misantropia. Fortemente influenciados pela Deep Ecology de Naess, Bill Devall e George Sessions adoptam, no seu seguimento, esta perspectiva. Numa forma distinta, descrevem-na como uma perspectiva que se destaca no panorama ambientalista, com uma estrutura própria e quase literária, uma influência para a adopção de práticas ecológicas que vai muito além das atitudes, não se trata de ser ecológico mas sim de ser um ser ecológico.

Abstract:
Broad whitefish, Coregonus nasus, is an important subsistence fish species in Arctic North America, yet virtually nothing is known regarding the genetic population structure of Nearctic populations of this species. In this thesis, microsatellite DNA variation was assayed among 1213 broad whitefish from 47 localities throughout North America, with emphasis on the Mackenzie River system, Northwest Territories. Specifically, I examined geographic variation in allele frequencies to assess how historical factors (Pleistocene glaciations) have shaped the current structuring of genetic variability and population differentiation. Microsatellite data was also used to resolve the relative contributions of broad whitefish populations to subsistence fisheries in the Mackenzie River system. Overall, broad whitefish exhibit relatively high intrapopulation microsatellite variation (average 12.29 alleles/locus, average HE = 0.58) and there were declines in these measures of genetic diversity with distance from putative refugia suggesting historical factors, namely post-glacial dispersal, have influenced current microsatellite variation. Interpopulation divergence was low (overall FST = 0.07), but the main regions assayed in this study (Russia, Alaska, Mackenzie River and Travaillant Lake systems) are genetically differentiated. Strong isolation-by-distance among samples was resolved when including only those populations occupying former Beringia, but not when assaying those at the periphery of the range in the Mackenzie River system, suggesting that broad whitefish in the Mackenzie system have not occupied the region long enough since their invasion post-glacially to have approached equilibrium between gene flow and drift. Mixture analysis indicated that most fish from the lower Mackenzie River subsistence fishery originated from the Peel River, highlighting the importance of this tributary. Additionally the mixture analysis provides evidence for a putative riverine life history form in the Mackenzie River. My results indicate that glaciation and post-glacial colonization have been important in shaping the current genetic population structure of North American broad whitefish. They also illustrate the utility of microsatellite DNA to delineate population structure and patterns of genetic diversity in recently founded populations in addition to resolving contributions to fisheries. My data also support the hypothesis that there are several designatable units of conservation among broad whitefish populations and that management strategies should be implemented accordingly.

Hemofili är en relativt ovanlig kronisk sjukdom som enbart drabbar män. Sjukdomen är ärftlig och kan orsaka spontana blödningar i främst armbågsled, knäled och fotled. Syftet med studien är att undersöka män med hemofili och deras erfarenheter samt upplevelser av att leva med en kronisk genetisk sjukdom. Studien är en semistrukturerad intervjustudie där sju män i åldern 18-64 år med hemofili deltar. Metoden som använts är innehållsanalys på manifest nivå. Detta resulterade i fem kategorier: Egen upplevelse av livskvalitet, fysisk påverkan, psykiskt välbefinnande, stigma och missuppfattningar samt trygghet. Resultaten diskuteras sedan utifrån Siri Naess teori om livskvalitet. Utifrån denna studien upplever sig dessa män ha god livskvalitet trots att sjukdomen ibland begränsar deras vardag. Yngre deltagare uppger sig inte påverkas märkbart av sjukdomen. Copingstrategier och trygghet är viktiga faktorer för att uppnå god livskvalitet. Sjuksköterskan kan vara en viktig del vid bemötandet och genom ökad förståelse främja god livskvalitet.
Haemophilia is a relatively rare chronical disease that only men can get. Haemophilia is a hereditary disease and can cause spontanious bleedings in elbow joint, knee joint and foot joint. The aim of this study is to study men with haemophilia and their experiences of living with a chronical genetic disease. The study is a semistructured interview study where seven men in the age 18-64 with haemophilia is attending. The method used is content analysis in a manifest level, which resulted in five categories: experience of life quality, physical affect, psychic wellbeeing, stigma and missconception and safeness. The results of the study are discussed from Siri Naess theory of quality of life. According to this study the men are experiencing good quality of life despite the fact that the disease can influence their everyday life. The younger participants have reported that the disease doesn´t affect them noticeable. Copingstrategies and safeness are important factors for experiencing good quality of life. A nurse can be an important part in the meeting with theese people and through increased insight in the condition quality of life can be improved.

Den här undersökningen behandlar inomhusmiljön och barns inflytande i förskolan. Syftet med studien är att få en förståelse för barns inflytande över inomhusmiljön, både avseende föremål och rumsliga aspekter. Jag vill få en bredare syn på hur barn utövar inflytande över inomhusmiljön och vad lärarnas roll i detta innebär. Studien utgår från det postmoderna kunskapsperspektivet och använder tidigare forskning hos bland annat Ann Skantze, Elisabeth Nordin-Hultman, Kristina Westlund och Elisabeth Arnér för problematisering av data. Som led i studien används vidare statliga utredningar framförallt Utbildningsdepartementets rapport Var -dags - inflytande i förskola, skola och vuxenutbildning (Ds 2003:46). Inför undersökningen genomfördes observationer på en förskola för att få material att basera mina problemformuleringar och intervjufrågor på. Valet gjordes att genomföra en fallstudie med hjälp av åtta intervjuer med barn och två intervjuer med lärare. Som stöd för analysen har även fotografier tagits av inomhusmiljön. En viktig slutsats från denna studie är att lärarna på förskoleavdelningen är väl medvetna om en planerad inomhusmiljö och de har olika metoder för att ta reda på barnens åsikter. Däremot finns tydliga skillnader mellan barnen och lärarnas åsikter vad gäller regler, leksaker och vem som bestämmer på förskolan. Barnen anser att lärarna bestämmer allt. En annan slutsats jag kunnat dra är vikten av att diskutera ord och begrepp och dess betydelse, både mellan lärare och mellan lärare-barn. Detta behövs för att alla ska få möjligheten till inflytande.

Abstract:
The object of investigation in this essay is the epic novel sequence Jernbanan written by Sara Lidman. More specifically the investigation takes on the idea of a “sam-vett” as it is formulated in Jernbanan. The “sam-vett” is an idea about the undivided unity of man, nature and animal, and with a kind of primitive trait. By asking the question what traces the history of ideas are to be found in the “sam-vett”, the hope is that it will bring some clarity to the notion and what its message might be. In addition to that a thesis is formulated, that the “sam-vett” can be read as a form of deep ecology. Deep ecology takes on the first rule of ecology, that everything is closely bound together, and extends it to a philosophy. By discussing the notion of the “sam-vett” in the light of two figures in the history of ideas, Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Martin Heidegger, the hope is to unravel its learning. In the end the “sam-vett” can be described as knowledge of nature that is based on a feeling more than the intellect – that begins where the language ends.

Abstract:
In the Anthropocene, a new approach towards nature in poetry is emerging. This change is closely related to ecocritical theory, which is a reevaluation of the human view on, and representation of, nature. It moves away from a more traditional anthropocentric perspective to a more critical one. This can for instance be in the spirit of Arne Naess or Timothy Morton, the two main theorists used in this essay. This essay is an ecocritical close reading of two Swedish contemporary poems on nature: “När jag går i skymningsmörkret” by Ingela Strandberg (from Att snara en fågel, 2018) and “(Strandförskjutningar)” by Gunnar D Hansson (from Tapeshavet, 2017). The focus of the reading is on the representation of wild, untouched nature. The formulated questions in the essay concern how untouched nature is represented in the poems, the human relationship towards it and how the differences and similarities between the two poems relate to and transform romantic representations of nature.  The conclusion is that these two very different poems exemplify the range of contemporary Swedish nature poetry. Strandberg’s poem is leaning towards a romantic or ecosofist representation of nature, whilst Hansson’s is more clear-cut ecocritical in line with Morton’s dark ecology.

Abstract:
The subject-matter of the following essay is to investigate the relationship between what is commonly called Deep Ecology or Biocentric Philosophy, as articulated by the co-founder of the Deep Ecology Movement, Arne Naess, and later proponents of the biocentric school of environmentalist thought. I contrast Naess’ concept of Self-realization as founded in his Ecosophy T to the ideas of american conservationist and co-founder of the radical green movement Earth First! Dave Foreman, and to the controversial finnish environmentalist and ecofascist Pentti Linkola’s ideological agenda of population-reduction respectively. According to some critics of the movement, especially the social ecologist Murray Bookchin and French liberal philosopher Luc Ferry, the Deep Ecology ideology is essentially misanthropic and totalitarian in structure. A central idea among deep ecologists is that ecosystems and natural entities have intrinsic value in themselves, even outside a human social context. This idea is thought of among deep ecologists to create a philosophically sound basis for counteracting the environmental global crisis. Both Bookchin and Ferry argue that this idea reduces the role of human reason and ethics in a fundamental way, especially in relation to questions concerning population-growth control. My aim is to show that the original intention of Arne Naess in his philosophy (Ekosofi T) does not resemble either Ferrys focus of critique, neither the controversial statements made by Dave Foreman and Earth First! nor Linkolas population-control agenda.
