Abstract:
Introduction: The various management development interventions that have been implemented seem to have not identified the characteristics of the role model, perceived control, and understanding of the Management Development Program (MDP) itself. The MDP effectiveness evaluation model also seems to have not received much attention. Analyze the influence of the characteristics of the Management Development Program, i.e., role models, feelings of control, and understanding that result in organizational commitment, utility, and participatory Behavior. Methods: The research population was 130 employees of NUH Jombang. Samples were taken using a simple random sampling technique of 100 employees from various work units. Statistical analysis used is path analysis to determine the direct and indirect effect on organizational commitment, utility, and participation behavior. Results: The higher MDP characteristics that consist of role model, perceived control, and understanding will be followed by high organizational commitment, utility, and participative behavior as positive outcomes. Conclusion: The study results can improve understanding of the characteristics of the relevant Management Development Program to improve employee outcomes. Employee outcome, i.e., organizational commitment, Utilities which include intrinsic – extrinsic – organizational benefits, behavior that includes the willingness to participate in development activities, innovative behavior that is beneficial to the organization, and sharing opinions.

Pendidikan Islam adalah ikhtiar sadar untuk memberdayakan umat Islam dalam kerangka pengembangan peradaban Islam. Pendidikan Islam yang diharapkan adalah pendidikan yang berorientasi pada kebutuhan nyata masyarakat Islam saat ini dan saat mendatang dengan tetap berpijak pada pendidikan Islam masa kejayaan Islam.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: untuk mengetahui peranan Lembaga Ma’arif Nahdlatul Ulama dalam menjaga eksistensi pendidikan Islam yang moderat, juga peranannya dalam mengaktualisasikan pendidikan Islam di zaman yang terus berkembang. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan untuk melakukan pengumpulan data dalam peneleitian ini adalah melalui Pengamatan, Wawancara, Observasi dan Triangulasi. Hasil penelitian bahwa Lembaga Pendidikan Ma’arif NU mampu menciptakan suasana pendidikan yang tidak hanya mengemban misi keagamaan saja, melainkan mampu mengembangkan Sumber Daya Manusia yang potensial sesuai bakat dan keahliannya.

Abstract:
This article discusses the archives saving of the Islamic organizations in Indonesia as part of the historical development of Islamic syiar in Indonesia, which also shows the important role of Muslims for the progress of the nation. The purpose of this research is to know the saving effort of the archives conducted by two of the largest Islamic social organizations in Indonesia, namely NU and Muhammadiyah. The research uses qualitative approach with case study method. The results show that NU has begun rescue archives by submitting a static archive since 2014, although internal efforts have been made since 1983, while Muhammadiyah has done so since 2012. Structurally, both have specialized agencies whose task is related to this mission; Lakpesdam NU and the Library and Information Council of Muhammadiyah.The Islamic organization archives are also managed by competent human resources in the field supported by activist and intellectual leaders. Thus, it can be concluded that this Islamic mass organization has shown serious concern in saving Islamic archives through development of policy, plan and program procedure of archives.---Artikel ini membahas tentang penyelamatan rekam jejak organisasi Islam di Indonesia sebagai bagian bukti dari sejarah perkembangan syiar Islam di Indonesia, yang juga menunjukkan peran penting umat Islam bagi kemajuan bangsa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya penyelamatan arsip yang tercipta di dua organisasi kemasyarakatan Islam terbesar di Indonesia, yakni NU dan Muhammadiyah. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa NU telah memulai penyelamatan arsip dengan menyerahkan arsip statis sejak 2014, meskipun upaya internal telah dilakukan sejak 1983, sementara Muhammadiyah telah melakukannya sejak 2012. Secara struktural ke duanya memiliki lembaga khusus yang salah satu tugasnya berkaitan dengan misi ini, masing-masing adalah Lakpesdam NU dan Majelis Pustaka dan Informasi Muhammadiyah. Kearsipan ormas Islam ini juga dikelolah oleh SDM yang berkompeten di bidangnya dengan didukung oleh tokoh-tokoh aktivis dan intelektual. AbstractNadzir is an important element in the wakalah waqf process. Waqfs wishing to donate their assets as waqf must choose a nadzir as the recipient of the assets as well as a trusted party to manage it. Nadzir is divided into three types, namely: foundations, legal entities, and individuals. Given the importance of the existence of the nadzir in the waqf procession, an appropriate strategy is needed to maintain the existence of waqf assets so that they are always beneficial to the waqif, as well as to the people. Therefore, this article aims to reveal the implementation of the nadzir strategy in optimizing waqf assets in the Ponorogo District area. The research method used in writing this research article is a multi-site qualitative research method, which was conducted in three different mosques, namely: 1. As-Salam Sunan Muria Bangunsari Ponorogo Mosque which is a representation of waqf assets managed by individuals. 2. K.H. Mosque Ahmad Dahlan Nologaten Ponorogo which is a representation of waqf assets managed by the Muhammadiyah organization. 3. Nadhlatul Ulama Sultan Agung Bangunsari Ponorogo Mosque which represents waqf assets managed by the Nadhlatul Ulama organization. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that efforts to optimize the management of waqf assets are carried out by each nadzir by applying the blue ocean strategy management model based on the environmental characteristics of the organizational culture. ABSTRAKNadzir merupakan elemen yang penting dalam proses wakalah wakaf. Wakif yang hendak mewakafkan harta kekayaannya diharuskan untuk memilih nadzir sebagai penerima harta tersebut sekaligus sebagai pihak yang diamanati untuk mengelolanya . Nadzir dibedakan ke dalam tiga jenis yaitu: yayasan, badan hukum, dan perorangan. Mengingat pentingnya eksistensi nadzir dalam prosesi wakaf maka dibutuhkan strategi yang tepat untuk menjaga eksistensi harta wakaf tersebut agar selalu bermanfaat bagi wakif, serta bagi umat. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap implementasi strategi nadzir dalam mengoptimalkan aset wakaf di kecamatan Ponorogo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam menulis artikel penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif berjenis multisitus, yang dilakukan di tiga masjid yang berbeda yaitu: 1. Masjid As-Salam Sunan Muria Bangunsari Ponorogo yang merupakan representasi dari aset wakaf yang dikelola oleh perorangan. 2. Masjid K. H. Ahmad Dahlan Nologaten Ponorogo yang merupakan repesentasi dari aset wakaf yang dikelola oleh organisasi Muhammadiyah. 3. Masjid Nadhlatul Ulama Sultan Agung Bangunsari Ponorogo yang merupakan representasi dari aset wakaf yang dikelola oleh organisasi Nadhlatul Ulama . Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi patisipan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya optimalisasi pengelolaan harta wakaf yang dilakukan oleh masing-masing nadzir dengan cara menerapkan model manajemen strategi blue ocean strategy berbasis karakteristik lingkungan budaya organisasi.

Technology and communication advancements have led in a decline in people's reading habits. It is necessary to conduct an activity that educates individuals about the benefits of family reading habits. The function of the school in fostering a reading literacy culture is not exclusive; it may be played by the community as well. The Reading House was founded with the assistance of institutional funding, corporate and religious donations, and community funds. The objective of this research is to detail numerous initiatives made by Alfata Reading House to enhance reading literacy culture. Alfata Reading House, Baroh Village, Pidie District, Pidie Regency, Aceh Province. This research was done at the Alfata Reading House, Baroh Village, Pidie District, Pidie Regency, Aceh Province. A qualitative descriptive study was employed to conduct this research. Data collecting methods included interviewing and observing. According to the procedures and strategies utilized for data collecting. Meanwhile, observations were made about the development of a reading literacy culture inside the Baroh Village community through the Alfata Reading House. This study made use of the following data analysis techniques: data reduction, data visualization, and conclusion drawing. The study's findings indicate that the Alfata Reading House routinely welcomes Nadhlatul Ulama schools in the Pidie area, connects with Nadhlatul Ulama branch leadership, and collaborates with parents.

Abstract:
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kondisi fisik anggota Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) senam aerobic putri Universitas Nadhlatul Ulama Surabaya (UNUSA) melalui pembelajaran senam aerobic. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang menggambarkan kondisi fisik anggota UKM senam aerobik putri UNUSA meliputi: ketahanan otot jantung (Endurance), daya tahan otot lengan, daya tahan otot perut dan kelentukan (Flexibility). Sampel yang diambil adalah 20 mahasiswa anggota UKM senam aerobik putri UNUSA. Hasil penelitian kondisi fisik menunjukkan bahwa 90% pada daya tahan otot jantung anggota UKM senam aerobik putri UNUSA kurang sekali. Daya tahan otot lengan anggota UKM senam aerobik putri UNUSA 80% kurang dan 20% kurang sekali, sedangkan daya tahan otot perut 65% cukup dan 35% kurang. 40% anggota UKM senam aerobik putri UNUSA memiliki kelentukan yang kurang, dan 60% kurang sekali. Pembelajaran senam aerobik perlu dilakukan secara bertahap dan terprogram serta mengikuti mengikuti standar frekuensi, intensitas dan tempo latihan, untuk mencapai kondisi fisik yang baik maka porsi latihan fisiknya disesuaikan dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki.

Abstract: This study aims to compare literacy produced by scholars from two major Islamic organizations in Indonesia, namely Al-Jami'atul Washliyah in North Sumatra and Nadhlatul Wathan in West Nusa Tenggara. A comparative study was conducted by looking at various books, kitab, and written works produced by the scholars of these two organizations. This is a field study using qualitative method. Sources of data in this study came from the results of observations, interviews, and literature study. The author's observations were conducted in Medan and Mataram as the main bases of these two organizations. Then the author interviewed the scholars who produced various scientific papers, especially those from the New Order and Reformation era. The author also conducted direct observations of books, kitab or other works of the scholars of these two organizations, journals, and other scientific works related to the research theme. As a result, scholars from these two organizations have produced various works, some of which were written during the New Order and Reformation eras. These works are closely related to the value of Islamic and nationality.اﻟﻤﻠﺨﺺ: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى مقارنة الأدبيات المختلفة التي أنتجها باحثون من منظمتين إسلاميتين رئيسيتين في إندونيسيا وهما الجمعية الوشلية ومقرها شمال سومطرة ونظرة ووثان ومقرها في نوسا تنجارا الغربية. تتم المقارنة بين المؤلفين من خلال النظر في مختلف الكتب والكتب والأعمال المكتوبة التي أنتجها علماء هاتين المنظمتين. يتم تضمين هذا البحث في البحث الميداني باستخدام طرق البحث النوعي في عملية الكتابة. جاءت مصادر البيانات في هذه الدراسة من نتائج الملاحظات والمقابلات ودراسة الأدب. تم تقديم ملاحظات المؤلف في ميدان ومطارام كأساس رئيسي لهاتين المنظمتين. ثم أجرى المؤلف مقابلات مباشرة مع العلماء الذين أنتجوا أوراقًا علمية مختلفة ، وخاصة تلك التي تنتمي إلى عصر النظام الجديد والإصلاح. في حين أن الأدب يدرس المؤلف بإجراء ملاحظات مباشرة على الكتب أو الكتب أو غيرها من أعمال علماء هاتين المنظمتين ، مقترنة بالبحث عن مصادر أخرى في شكل كتب ومجلات وغيرها من الأعمال العلمية المتعلقة بالبحث سمة. أنتج علماء من هاتين المنظمتين أعمالًا مختلفة ، بعضها كتب خلال عصور النظام الجديد والإصلاح. ترتبط هذه الأعمال ارتباطًا وثيقًا بالقيم الإسلامية والإندونيسية.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan berbagai literasi yang dihasilkan oleh para ulama yang berasal dari dua organisasi keislaman besar yang ada di Indonesia, yaitu Al-Jami’atul Washliyah yang berpusat di Sumatera Utara dan Nadhlatul Wathan yang berpusat di Nusa Tenggara Barat. Perbandingan penulis lakukan dengan melihat berbagai buku, kitab, dan karya tulis yang dihasilkan oleh para ulama dari kedua organisasi ini. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif di dalam proses penulisannya. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan studi kepustakaan. Observasi penulis lakukan di Medan dan Mataram sebagai basis utama dari kedua organisasi ini. Kemudian wawancara penulis lakukan langsung dengan para ulama yang menghasilkan berbagai karya tulis ilmiah, terutama yang berasal dari masa Orde Baru dan Reformasi. Sementara studi kepustakaan penulis lakukan dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung terhadap kitab, buku, atau karya lainnya dari para ulama kedua organisasi ini, ditambah dengan pencarian sumber lainnya berupa buku, jurnal, serta karya ilmiah lainnya yang berkaitan dengan tema penelitian. Ulama-ulama yang berasal dari kedua organisasi ini telah menghasilkan berbagai karya, di antaranya ditulis pada masa Orde Baru dan Reformasi. Karya-karya tersebut sangat erat kaitannya dengan nilai-nilai keislaman serta keindonesiaan.

Abstract:
The presence of COVID-19 has changed the religious information of Islamic organizations in Indonesia. To a certain extent, religious organizations play an essential role in handling outbreaks regarding their strategic position as opinion leaders for society. This study seeks to examine the religious discourse changes of Nadhlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah in responding to the pandemic as portrayed on their official websites. This study uses a qualitative method with a critical discourse analysis approach from van Dijk (2001), in which language is analyzed by describing the aspects of language (texts) and relating to the context and social cognition. The study concludes that the state/government's power relation dominates NU and Muhammadiyah's discourses. Nahdatul Ulama (NU) tends to show the theological-normative things based on culture, while Muhammadiyah discusses religious narratives based on charity and transformative actions. However, both of them are developing contextual fiqh and disaster fiqh facing the COVID-19 pandemic based on the Quran-Hadis direction.

Abstract Institution-grown extremism is among the most urgent challenges confronting societies today. Attempts to understand extremism often treat this development as a form of the political education system. This study explores by starting actual experiences of radicalization and discover a great diversity of experiences from the leaders of Senior High Schools. This study explores the role of education institutions in Senior High Schools in Metro in confronting the radicalization of religious outlooks among students by analyzing their activities. The results of this study showed that radicalization is not something done to people, but something produced by active participants. From this phenomenon, the leaders of educational institutions in Senior High School conducted a practical guide to the de-radicalization of religious outlooks by various programs. In addition, organizations by religious affiliation have influenced religious formation among students both of religious organizations affiliated to Nadhlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah. Abstract:
Hepatitis was an inflammation or infection of the liver cells and generally caused by the virus, resulting in the liver swelled. Hepatitis B disease is caused by acute or chronic Hepatitis B virus and includes the most dangerous liver disease. World Health Organization (WHO) estimates in 2002 that one billion living individuals are infected with Hepatitis B, so more than 200 million people worldwide are infected, and 1-2 million deaths annually are associated with VHB. In 2008 the number of people infected with VHB was 2 billion, and 350 million people continued to be patients with chronic hepatitis B infection. Generally most of Hepatitis B immunization studies that have been conducted in Indonesia only observe the early age group (infant) and quite rare for adolescence groups. Those group of teenagers becomes very important subject because they will soon be married and have children in the future. The research aimed to investigated HbsAb-based hepatitis using Rapid test among teenagers. This research was conducted in the Boarding School Health Study Center of Nadhlatul Ulama University Surabaya. Fifty-four teenagers were tested using HbsAb rapid test. The HBsAb rapid test result found 2 teenagers positive to hepatitis.

Abstract:
This article tries to contextualise the formulation of Islamic laws with regards to contemporary dynamics of non-Muslim leadership in the government. It particularly addresses the religious deliberation (ijtihad) of the traditionalist Muslim organisation, the Nadhlatul Ulama/NU, and its youth organisation, the Gerakan Pemuda Ansor. The construction of Islamic laws in contemporary Indonesia tells an insightful viewpoint in Islamic-laws making and delivers multiplicity in Islamic interpretation. Despite the fact that these two organisations are of the same organisation, the NU, their formulation of Islamic laws with regards to non-Muslim leadership demonstrates a different and contrasting opinion. While the national board of the NU through its national congress in 1999 argues against non-Muslim leadership, the national religious deliberation board (bahtsul masail) of the Ansor in 2017 issues a legal opinion that approves non-Muslim leadership. As this article argues, the different opinions between these two institutions develops particularly because of different construct in defining Islam and democracy in the largest Muslim country Indonesia. They differ in reconciling istinbat (methods for formulating the laws) of two principles of Islamic laws (ushul al-fiqh); al-sabit (permanent) and al-mutahawwil (change). It further argues that the national board of the NU particularly sees the prohibition of non-Muslim leadership as al-sabit, an unchanged dictum, whereas the Ansor considers it al-mutahawwil as looking at the Indonesian state constitution that does not discriminate its citizens based on religion. Thus, making Islamic laws accords to the state constitution.

While the national board of the NU through its national congress in 1999 argues against non-Muslim leadership, the national religious deliberation board (bahtsul masail) of the Ansor in 2017 issues a legal opinion that approves non-Muslim leadership. As this article argues, the different opinions between these two institutions develops particularly because of different construct in defining Islam and democracy in the largest Muslim country Indonesia. They differ in reconciling istinbat (methods for formulating the laws) of two principles of Islamic laws (ushul al-fiqh); al-sabit (permanent) and al-mutahawwil (change). It further argues that the national board of the NU particularly sees the prohibition of non-Muslim leadership as al-sabit, an unchanged dictum, whereas the Ansor considers it al-mutahawwil as looking at the Indonesian state constitution that does not discriminate its citizens based on religion. Thus, making Islamic laws accords to the state constitution.

Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, Jombang district, which is integrated with the tombs of the founders of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and national heroes, is increasingly visited by pilgrims since KH. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) died and was buried there. The arrival of the pilgrims was in addition to a form of homage to the scholars of the founders of Nadhlatul Ulama (NU), also to pray. This motivation is typical in pilgrimage tours. Gus Dur’s grave deserves to be designated as an icon of Jombang district tourism. As a pilgrimage tourist destination, the iconic tomb complex with Gus Dur’s Tomb has several advantages to be designated as Jombang tourism icons which are then expected to provide added value for Jombang district. This article is conceptual paper, giving a review of Gus Dur’s grave designation as an icon of Jombang tourism. The research approach is qualitatively descriptive, where primary data sources are obtained from data collection through interviews and supported by the observation process. Secondary data sources are carried out through the study of related literature. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the chances of Gus Dur’s grave becoming an icon of Jombang tourism? The conclusion of this study is that the tomb of Gus Dur is appropriate to be used as an icon of Jombang tourism, with consideration, first, the tomb of Gus Dur have an advantage as a heritage area that has high historical value, and is strategically significant for the progress of Jombang tourism in particular. Second, the geographical location of Gus Dur’s tomb which became one area with Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, also higher education, and the National Islamic Museum K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari in one area will focus the relevant government agencies to carry out development programs as a follow-up to iconic tourism designation. Third, the Tomb of Gus Dur is important area in the establishment of NU, which is expected to have a positive impact on the surrounding area when arranged in such a way. Fourth, in terms of tourism components, Gus Dur’s Grave has complete appeal, good accessibility, existing facilities but needs to be developed.

Family law has a very important position in Islam. Its position as the core of sharia is related to the assumption that family law is a gateway to understanding more about Islam. The reform of Islamic family law in Indonesia has gone through a long and long process. In the process of its formation, the material for family law in Indonesia was taken from various sources, such as fiqh books, fatwas, and other sources of Islamic law. Nahdatul Ulama (NU) is one of the Islamic organizations in Indonesia that has contributed to the development of Islamic family law material. One of NU's real contributions in enriching material on Islamic family law in Indonesia is through the Lajnah Bahtsul Masail (LBM) forum. This paper will discuss the development of family law materials through the Lajnah Bahtsul Masail forum. This paper is the result of qualitative research. Sources of data in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. Analysis of the data in this study using content analysis method. Bahtsul masail as the collective ijtihad of NU members has made a real contribution to the development of Islamic family law material in Indonesia. Various new phenomena that arise both due to technology and cultural differences have received fiqh answers through bahtsul masail. This is indicated at least by the similarities between several legal decisions and the marriage law in Indonesia.

Penelitian ini merupakan <em>field research</em>, dengan metode kualitatif danbersifat <em>deskriptif anali</em><em>tik</em>serta <em>Comparative Approach</em>. Nahdlatul Ulama Sumut menyatakan mereka sepakat dengan rekomendasi istilah non-muslim, karena tidak mencapai status kafir sebagaimana di dalam kitab fikih. This research is a field of research, with qualitative and analytic descriptive methods and Comparative Approach. The North Sumatra Nahdlatul Ulama said they agreed with the recommendation of the term non-Muslim, because it does not reach the status of infidel as in the book of fiqh. Patient satisfaction is the level of one's feelings after comparing the perceived performance with expectations, so the level of satisfaction is a function of the difference between perceived performance and expectations. Patients are people who consult health issues to obtain the necessary health services, both directly and indirectly to the doctor. Satisfaction can be interpreted if it is in line with expectations and reality, service during the process of enjoying services, employee behavior, physical atmosphere and physical conditions, and promotion is not in accordance with reality. This study uses an observational analytic design with a cross sectional approach. The research sample of 60 internal medicine polyclinic patients at Nahdlatul Ulama Hospital Tuban was selected by accidental sampling. research instruments, patient satisfaction questionnaire. The results showed that there was a relationship between Waiting Time and Patient Satisfaction in the Internal Medicine Polyclinic in Outpatient Installation, this was evidenced by the Spearman Rho test obtained p = 0.00 (α <0.05). It is expected that the results of this study can be used as information for the hospital management, that waiting time is also included that affects satisfaction.

Abstrak: Malaria adalah penyakit infeksi disebabkan oleh parasit Plasmodium yang hidup danberkembang biak dalam sel darah merah manusia yang ditularkan oleh nyamuk malaria (Anopheles) betina. Malaria dapat menyerang semua orang: laki-laki ataupun perempuan dan pada semuagolongan umur: bayi, anak-anak atau orang dewasa. Sejak tahun 2000 kematian akibat malariasecara global telah menurun sekitar 60%, di mana 65% terjadi pada anak usia balita. Sekitar 3,2miliar penduduk (setengah dari populasi dunia) tinggal di daerah berisiko tertular malaria. Padatahun 2015, diperkirakan terdapat 214 juta kasus malaria, di mana 400 ribu kasus di antaranyamenjadi penyebab kematian. Di Indonesia sendiri terdapat 417.819 kasus positif malaria padatahun 2012 dan menurun hamper setengahnya pada tahun 2016 menjadi 218.450 kasus. Indonesiamengalami kemajuan dalam pemberantasan malaria, terlihat bahwa dari total 258,9 juta pendudukIndonesia pada tahun 2016 sejumlah 178,7 juta penduduk (69%) telah hidup di daerah bebas enularanmalaria, namun masih terdapat 16,5 juta penduduk tinggal di daerah risiko tinggi dan sedang.Dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya terjadi peningkatan presentasi, seiring dengan jumlah daerahkabupaten/kota yang telah mencapai eliminasi pada tahun 2016 sebanyak 247 kab./kota. Malariaselama kehamilan berkonsekuensi menyebabkan kesakitan, kematian, aborsi, kelahiran dini, beratbadan lahir rendah (mengacu pada penghambatan pertumbuhan intra-uterine dan prematuritas) dantransmisi transplacental dari parasit malaria. Infeksi malaria pada ibu hamil tidak hanya dapatmeningkatkan risiko anemia yang dapat meningkatkan risiko perdarahan saat persalinan, namunjuga meningkatkan risiko kematian bayi, prematuritas dan berat badan lahir rendah. Risiko terkenamalaria semakin meningkat terutama pada kehamilan trimester dua, ibu hamil memiliki risiko tigakali lebih besar untuk menderita penyakit parah lainnya bila terinfeksi malaria dibandingkan perempuan yang tidak sedang hamil. Kelompok remaja menjadi sangat penting karena mereka tidak lamalagi akan menikah dan mempunyai anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui infeksi malariapada remaja di surabaya berdasarkan metode hapusan darah tipis dan tebal. Penelitian ini dilakukandi pusat studi kesehatan pondok pesantren Universitas Nadhlatul Ulama Surabaya. Sebanyak 54remaja diuji dengan menggunakan metode hapusan darah tebal dan hapusan darah tipis. Dari penelitianyang dilakukan didapatkan 54 remaja di Surabaya negatif terhadap malaria dengan menggunakanmetode hapusan darah tebal dan hapusan darah tipis.
