Abstract:
Understanding what is desired by Allah from the texts of the Qur’an that which is essentially many debatable than the immutable have led to a variety of concepts generated by the ushûliyyûn, like ‘âmm and muthlaq. These two concepts are very numerous and often intersect in the texts of the Qur’an, because the sturcture of the words on the legal source are mostly composed of ‘âmm and muthlaq words. Both have the differences and similarities in coverage breadth of its meaning. First, differences can be seen in the ‘âmm word covering the whole meaning of syar'î texts has many forms and varieties. While the muthlaq word consists only of nakirah word both singular and plural form. The other hand, the difference that in generality of ‘âmm is syumûlî and generality of muthlaq is badalî. In addition, the generality of ‘âmm from afrâd side (components), while the generality of muthlaq is from characteristic side. Secondly, the range of ‘âmm word is wider than the muthlaq word, due to the shape and variety of ‘âmm word more than the muthlaq word, ‘âmm word able to spend the amount of units more than the muthlaq word since the generality ‘âmm word on the side of component units, while the generality of the muthlaq word located on the side of characteristic.Copyright (c) 2016 by Al-Ihkam. Abstract:
The Purathinai literary tradition is not merely a literary tradition. It is also a social tradition of that period. On this basis, one of the disciplines of the Purathinai literary tradition, the Mullai of Muthin Mullai, has within itself a social life. Muthinmullai songs, which describe the valour of women, also record that it is the duty of women to save the family and society for the family. Through such records, the Muthin mullai songs show pieces of evidence to understand the primacy and supremacy of women's lives in society. The songs are used to explain how women are viewed and to confirm the social identities of women, referred to as a matrilineal society. This article also highlights the need to find more data on why the Tamil community was such a predominantly female community.

This article aims to provide an overview of romanticism in Arabic literature, in particular through two important figures in this school. important in the foundation and development of romanticism in Arabic literature. The method used in this article is descriptive qualitative and literature study. This study also uses the technique of observing and taking notes in data collection. From the discussion it can be concluded that the flow of romanticism is one of the popular streams that first appeared in the 18th century in Europe and entered the Arab region at the beginning of the 20th century. The entry of romanticism into the Arab world was pioneered by Khalīl Muthran. Apart from Khalīl Muthran, there is another Arabic literary figure who popularized this romanticism, namely Khalīl Gibran. These two Khalīls were important figures in the emergence and development of romanticism in Arabic literature. This can be seen from the life history of both of them who both studied literature in western countries. In addition, the works produced by these two figures show a strong romantic style, which strengthens the character of the two in Arabic literary romanticism

Abstract:

Abstract:
ABSTRACT Introduction The objective of this study is to assess the periodontal inflamed surface area (PISA) and its relationship with glycemic control in type 2 diabetes with and without periodontitis. Materials and methods A study was performed on 60 out-patients (males and females) reporting to the Department of Periodontics, Rajah Muthiah Dental College and Hospital and the Diabetic Clinic, Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu. The age of the study subjects ranged from 40 to 60 years. Patients having HbA1c levels > 7 mg/dl were diagnosed as type 2 diabetes mellitus and were enrolled in the study. The selected patients were divided into two groups of 30 patients each, with at least eight remaining teeth present: Group I - Diabetic patients with periodontitis (test) with probing pocket depth (PPD) of 3 to 10 mm and bleeding on probing (BOP), and Group II - Diabetic patients without periodontitis (periodontally healthy as control) with PPD not exceeding 3 mm and limited BOP. Subjects were excluded if they were under systemic antibiotics 3 months prior and during the study and if they have undergone periodontal treatment 6 months prior to the study. Results When HbA1c increased, the PISA values also increased in type 2 diabetic patients with and without periodontitis. Conclusion The cross-sectional clinical study reveals that there is a linear association between diabetes and PISA in type 2 diabetic patients with and without periodontitis. Abstract:
The title structure, C6H9.5N3O20.5+·C7H6.5NO20.5−, which might be named schematically as 2-amino-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine-(μ2-hydrogen)-4-aminobenzoate to indicate a bridging H atom, has been redetermined from the data published by Thanigaimani, Muthiah & Lynch [Acta Cryst.(2006), E62, o2976–o2978]. The improvement of the present redetermination consists in a released geometry of the primary amine groups, which were originally assumed to be planar, as well as in a redetermination of the position of the hydroxy H atom. This H atom, whose parameters were originally constrained, turns out to be situated about the centre of the O...N hydrogen bond in two disordered positions with occupancies of 0.5 each.

Abstract:
Chironomids (Diptera; Chironomidae) are aquatic insects that are abundant in freshwater. We aimed to study the endogenous microbiota composition of Chironomus ramosus larvae that were sampled from the Mutha River and a laboratory culture in India. Furthermore, we performed a metagenomic analysis of the larval microbiome, sampled from the Mutha River. Significant differences were found between the bacterial community composition of C. ramosus larvae that were sampled from the Mutha River and the laboratory culture. A total of 54.7% of the amplicon sequence variants (ASVs) that were identified in the larvae from the Mutha River were unique, compared to only 12.9% of unique ASVs that were identified from the laboratory-reared larvae. The four most abundant phyla across all samples were: Proteobacteria, Fusobacteria, Firmicutes, and Bacteroidetes, while the nine most abundant genera were: Aeromonas, Alkanindiges, Breznakia, Cetobacterium, Chryseobacterium, Desulfovibrio, Dysgonomonas, Thiothrix, and Vibrio. Moreover, in the metagenomic analysis, we detected bacterial genes and bacterial pathways that demonstrated the ability to degrade different toxic compounds, detoxify metal, and confer resistance to antibiotics and UV radiation, amongst other functions. The results illuminate the fact that there are detoxifying enzymes in the C. ramosus larval microbiome that possibly play a role in protecting the insect in polluted environments.

Abstract:
This study, we investigate the mediation effect of the self-leadership in the relation between military character and the organizational commitment for junior NCOs(Non Commissioned Officers). This research target was 684 junior NCOs in the 00 unit located in Jeonbuk. The data was analyzed by using SPSS 18.0 and mediation effects were verified using structural equation techniques (Muthén & Muthén, 2010). First, as a result of correlation analysis of major variants showed the military character statically significantly and significantly correlated the organization commitment and the self-leadership. Also Self-leadership and organizational immersion appeared statically and significantly. Second, it was found that self-leadership mediates the relationship between military character and organizational commitment. These results mean that military character directly affect and increases theorganization commitment through the self-leadership. Therefore, it is suggested that there is a need for improving the education of the self-leadership and the military character in order to increase the organizational of junior NCOs.

Abstract:
Survey researchers often design stratified sampling strategies to target specific subpopulations within the larger population. This stratification can influence the population parameter estimates from these samples because they are not simple random samples of the population. There are three typical estimation options that account for the effects of this stratification in latent variable models: unweighted maximum likelihood, weighted maximum likelihood, and pseudo-maximum likelihood estimation. This paper examines the effects of these procedures on parameter estimates, standard errors, and fit statistics in Lisrel 8.7 (Jöreskog & Sörbom, 2004) and Mplus 3.0 (Muthén & Muthén, 2004). Options using several estimation methods will be compared to pseudo-maximum likelihood estimation. Results indicated the choice of estimation technique does not have a substantial effect on confirmatory factor analysis parameter estimates in large samples. However, standard errors of those parameter estimates and RMSEA values for assessing of model fit can be substantially affected by estimation technique.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Theorists have long maintained that people react to major life events but then eventually return to a setpoint of subjective well-being. Yet prior research is inconclusive regarding the extent of interindividual variability. Recent theoretical models suggest that there should be heterogeneity in long-term stress responding ( Bonanno, 2004 ; Muthén & Muthén, 2000 ). To test this idea, we used latent growth mixture modeling to identify specific patterns of individual variation in response to three major life events (bereavement, divorce, and marriage). A four-class trajectory solution provided the best fit for bereavement and marriage, while a three-class solution provided the best fit for divorce. Relevant covariates predicted trajectory class membership. The modal response across events was a relatively flat trajectory (i.e., no change). Nevertheless, some trajectories diverged sharply from the modal response. Despite the tendency to maintain preevent levels of SWB, there are multiple and often divergent trajectories in response to bereavement, divorce, and marriage, underscoring the essential role of individual differences.

Abstract:
Background Millions of Iraqi pilgrims travel annually from the southern governorates to Karbala and pass through Thiqar, Muthana, and Diwania Governorates to join the Arbaeenia mass gathering event. During this event, participants are at high risk for diseases and death and stifle local health care resources. In addition, the mass gathering causes considerable burden on health facilities in the hosting localities. Objective This study aims to estimate the disease burden on health facilities caused by the pilgrims passing through Thiqar, Muthana, and Diwania Governorates en route to Karbala in Iraq. Methods This cross-sectional study was conducted on all health facilities in three governorates (Thiqar, Muthana, and Diwania) situated along the southern way to Karbala from Basra. The study started on December 11, 2014, and ended on December 24, 2014. The morbidity and mortality were collected from surveillance logbooks and death registers. Drug purchase data were obtained from the personnel in charge of the pharmacies. The study period was divided into three phases on the basis of the timing of the mass gathering event: pre-event, the event, and postevent. Results There were 884,834 incidents reported during the study. The majority of incidents were reported during the event phase (95%) and were attended mostly at mobile clinics (77%). The average daily incidents during the pre-event, event, and postevent phases were 4300, 56,040, and 4548 incidents, respectively. Musculoskeletal disorders were the most common illness reported (55%). The average number of daily deaths was 43, 36, and 45 during the pre-event, event, and postevent, respectively, and these values did not differ significantly. Cardiovascular diseases (43.5%), injuries (29.8%), and respiratory illnesses (12%) were the leading causes of deaths. Approximately US $1.3 million was spent on drug purchases during this mass gathering in the three governorates. Conclusions The Arbaeenia mass gathering causes a tremendous disease and economic burden on governorates that pilgrims pass through to attend this mass gathering in Karbala. Although Iraq’s Ministry of Health is aware of the high burden of this mass gathering on the health facilities in these governorates, more work is needed to ensure quality services during the event.

Abstract:
Turbidity is a visual property of water that expresses the amount of suspended substances in the water. Its presence in quantities more significant than the permissible limit makes the water undrinkable and reduces the effectiveness of disinfectants in treating pathogens. On this basis, turbidity is used as a basic indicator for measuring water quality. This study aims to evaluate the removal efficiency of AL- Muthanna WTP. Water turbidity was used as a basic parameter in the evaluation, using performance improvement evaluation and data from previous years (2016 to 2020). The average raw water turbidity was 26.7 NTU, with a minimum of 14 NTU, with a maximum of 48 NTU. Water turbidity value for 95% of settling daily reading data was (13.7) NTU which is larger than the goal value (10) NTU, which achieves (51.2) % of the optimum goal. In comparison, the water turbidity value for 95% of daily reading data of water filtered was (6.90) NTU which is larger than the goal value (5) NTU, which achieves (68.8) % of the optimum goal. The removal efficiency for previous years (2016 to 2020) was (78.5, 76, 73.5, 72, 68)%, respectively, within acceptable limits.

Abstract:
Trade in lion parts associated with cultural and traditional use is poorly understood. Here we sought to better understand the role and use of lion body parts in the commercial traditional medicine (muthi) trade of South Africa. In 2019 we conducted a semi-structured questionnaire survey of muthi traders (n = 10) and traditional healers (n = 20) which explored the significance and symbolism of lions, traded parts and preferences, sources and supply of lion parts, and perceived sustainability of lion derivatives in the South African muthi trade. Our results suggest a cultural importance of lion associated with the umndawu ancestral spirit in particular, as well as in the training and practice of cultural–spiritual healers. Lion paws and parts thereof were most frequently reported as sold by traders and demanded by healers, correlating with recent trends in body-part removals from lion mortalities. Respondents indicated that lion parts were obtained from a variety of sources including wild lion populations in neighbouring countries and captive-breeding farms. Our findings are discussed relative to current concerns in lion conservation and highlight a need for further understanding of the traditional medicine complex, the influence that ancestral spirits have on lion body-part trade, and increased engagement with traditional medicine stakeholders.

Abstract:
Abstract A prospective, controlled trial was conducted to assess the outcome of early physical therapy intervention on preterm low birth weight infants during the first six months of life. A cohort of 100 preterm low birth weight infants who got admitted in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and referral newborn (RNB) of Raja Muthiah Medical College and Hospital (RMMC & H) were included prospectively. Infants who received regular early physiotherapy intervention were assigned as interventional group (EI) and infants who were advised but did not turn up for early intervention as comparison group (NEI). The Amiel-Tison neurologic examination and Denver developmental screening test (DDST) were used and results were compared. Better performance of infants was found in EI group in neurologic and developmental domains. The data suggest significant benefit of the use of EI programme over NEI in the neurodevelopmental outcome of preterm LBW infants at 6 months of corrected age.
