Abstract:
A multiuser detection (MUD) algorithm based on deep learning network is proposed for the satellite mobile communication system. Due to relative motion between the satellite and users, multiple access interference (MUI) introduced by multipath fading channel reduces system performance. The proposed MUD algorithm based on deep learning network firstly establishes the CINR optimal loss function according to the multiuser access mode and then obtains the best multiuser detection weight through the steepest gradient iteration. Multilayer nonlinear learning obtains interference cancellation sharing weights to achieve maximum signal-to-noise ratio through gradient iteration, which is superior than the traditional serial interference cancellation algorithm and parallel interference cancellation algorithm. Then, the weights with multiuser detection through multilayer network forward learning iteration are obtained with traditional multiuser detecting quality characteristics. The proposed multiuser access detection based on deep learning network algorithm improves the MUD accuracy and reduces the number of traditional multiusers. The performance of the satellite multifading uplink system shows that the proposed deep learning network can provide high precision and better iteration times.

Abstract:
A multiuser communication scheme which is a hybrid of Walsh code with DCSK and CDSK is proposed to improve low data transmission rate of Differential Chaos Shift Keying (DCSK), poor bit error ratio (BER) performance of Correlation Delay Shift Keying (CDSK), and disadvantage of orthogonality in traditional multiuser DCSK. It not only overcomes the disadvantages of DCSK and CDSK, but also has better performance than CDSK and higher transmission data rate than DCSK. It has been proved that the novel multiuser CDSK-DCSK has better properties than traditional Multiple Input Multiple Output-Differential Chaos Shift Keying (MIMO-DCSK) and Modified-Differential Chaos Shift Keying (M-DCSK). Also the multiuser interference is greatly suppressed due to the orthogonality of Walsh code.

This work investigates the BER performance of existing code families of Frequency Hopping (FH) codes as Time Hopping (TH) codes in multiuser UWB communication environment and provides a novel method for the selection of TH codes. The performance of codes has been validated in AWGN channel for single user and further validated over multiuser environment. A significant improvement in performance has been observed over random codes. It is validated that selection of better TH codes reduces the MUI and improves the overall performance of the communication system and FH codes with better correlation properties can be used as TH codes in multiuser UWB communication system.

Abstract:
In this paper, a support vector machine (SVM) technique has been applied to an antenna allocation system with multiple antennas in multiuser downlink communications. Here, only the channel magnitude information is available at the transmitter. Thus, a subset of transmit antennas that can reduce multiuser interference is selected based on such partial channel state information to support multiple users. For training, we generate the feature vectors by fully utilizing the characteristics of the interference-limited setup in the multiuser downlink system and determine the corresponding class label by evaluating a key performance indicator, i.e., sum rate in multiuser communications. Using test channels, we evaluate the performance of our antenna allocation system invoking the SVM-based allocation and optimization-based allocation, in terms of sum-rate performance and computational complexity. Rigorous testing allowed for a comparison of a SVM algorithm design between one-vs-one (OVO) and one-vs-all (OVA) strategies and a kernel function: (i) OVA is preferable to OVO since OVA can achieve almost the same sum rate as OVO with significantly reduced computational complexity, (ii) a Gaussian function is a good choice as the kernel function for the SVM, and (iii) the variance (kernel scale) and penalty parameter (box constraint) of an SVM kernel function are determined by 21.56 and 7.67, respectively. Further simulation results revealed that the designed SVM-based approach can remarkably reduce the time complexity compared to a traditional optimization-based approach, at the cost of marginal sum rate degradation. Our proposed framework offers some important insights for intelligently combining machine learning techniques and multiuser wireless communications.

Abstract:
The Internet of Things (IoT) is expected to foster the development of 5G wireless networks and requires the efficient support for a large number of simultaneous short message communications. To address these challenges, some existing works utilize new waveform and multiuser superposition transmission schemes to improve the capacity of IoT communication. In this paper, we will investigate the spatial degree of freedom of IoT devices based on their distribution, then extend the multiuser shared access (MUSA) which is one of the typical MUST schemes to spatial domain, and propose two novel schemes, that is, the preconfigured access scheme and the joint spatial and code domain scheduling scheme, to enhance IoT communication. The results indicate that the proposed schemes can reduce the collision rate dramatically during the IoT random access procedure and improve the performance of IoT communication obviously. Based on the simulation results, it is also shown that the proposed scheduling scheme can achieve the similar performance to the corresponding brute-force scheduling but with lower complexity.

Abstract:
Recently, there has been a good deal of interest in the use of chaotic signals for direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) communication systems. The capacity of DS-CDMA systems is interference-limited, and can therefore be increased by techniques that suppress interference. This letter is devoted to the evaluation of the impact of blind multiuser detection techniques on chaos based DS-CDMA systems. Blind receivers can suppress multiple access interference and do not require knowledge of the code sequences and propagation channels of the interference. We demonstrate that, for chaotic sequence-based communications, blind multiuser receivers significantly improve the BER with respect to single-user receivers, and that their use is practically essential with a high number of users.

Abstract:
In multiuser visible light communication (VLC) systems, many transmit precoding (TPC) techniques have been investigated to suppress multiuser interference. However, these conventional works restrict their modulation to the special case of zero mean, which inherently limits their application to some popular modulations associated with the non-zero mean in VLC, such as pulse position modulation (PPM). Since the modulation with non-zero mean leads to more intricate optical power constraints and design objective functions than the case of zero mean, the TPC design that can support a general modulation is still an open problem. In the paper, we conceive of a general solution of the TPC scheme combined with dimming control for multiuser VLC systems, which is capable of mitigating multiuser interference, while at the same time, achieving the desired dimming level. The proposed scheme is applicable to a wide range of modulations in VLC, such as pulse amplitude modulation (PAM), PPM, and so on. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme outperforms the traditional pseudo-inverse-based zero-forcing TPC in terms of bit error rate (BER).

Abstract:
In this paper the multicarrier direct-sequence code-division multiple access (MC DS-CDMA) using space-time spreading assisted transmit diversity is investigated in the context of broadband wireless communi-cations systems constructed based on the generalized approach to signal processing in noise over frequency-se-lective Rayleigh fading channels. We consider the issue of parameter design for the sake of achieving high-ef-ficiency communications in various dispersive environments. In contrast to the conventional MC DS-CDMA wireless communication system employing the time (T)-domain spreading only, in the present paper the broad-band wireless MC DS-CDMA wireless communication schemes employ both the time (T)-domain and frequen-cy (F)-domain spreading, i.e., employ the TF-domain spreading. The bit-error rate (BER) performance of the space-time spreading assisted broadband MC DS-CDMA wireless communications system is investigated for down-link transmissions associated with the single user and multiuser generalized detectors and is compared with that of the single user correlation detector and the multiuser decorrelating detector. Our study demonstra-tes that with appropriately selecting the system parameters, the broadband MC DS-CDMA wireless communi-cation system using the space-time spreading assisted transmit diversity constitutes a promising downlink tran-smission scheme. This scheme is capable to support ubiquitous communications over diverse communication environments without the BER performance degradation

Abstract:
In an integrated radar-communication network, multiuser access techniques with minimal performance degradation and without range-Doppler ambiguities are required, especially in a dense user environment. In this paper, a multiuser access scheme with random subcarrier allocation mechanism is proposed for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based integrated radar-communication networks. The expression of modulation Symbol-Domain method combined with sparse representation (SR) for range-Doppler estimation is introduced and a parallel reconstruction algorithm is employed. The radar target detection performance is improved with less spectrum occupation. Additionally, a Doppler frequency detector is exploited to decrease the computational complexity. Numerical simulations show that the proposed method outperforms the traditional modulation Symbol-Domain method under ideal and realistic nonideal scenarios.

Abstract:
Bagian ketiga merinci teori dasar. Bagian keempat memaparkan metodologi penelitian dan terakhir adalah batasan masalah dan penutup. ABSTRACT Visible Light Communication (VLC) is a technology that has been on fire for several years and it is assumed to continue in the next few decades because of the many advantages offered, namely the main infrastructure in the form of lighting so that it is cost-effective, free license, safer (Secure), the transmission speed reaches GHz, and has no electromagnetic interference. Since VLC is a relatively new technology, its communication standards also tend to develop is the IEEE 802.15.17 standard published late 2010. This standard still proposes modulation techniques as well as communications in the point-to-point scenario but until now has not accommodated the communication system with Multiuser scenario as well as Bi-directional transmission. This paper is designed to design a bi-directional (uplink and downlink) VLC system that can be used on multiuser schemes with bitrate speeds downlink of up to 1 Mbps for indoor applications. This paper is divided into several parts of the discussion. First define the background of a research to improve the previous research platform and its contribution. The second part describes the relevant research along with the state of the art between this study and others. The third section details basic theories. The fourth section describes the methodology of research and the last is the limitation of the problem and the conclusion. How to Cite : Fuada, S. (2017). Abstract:
D2D communication trades short-range communication for achieving high communication rate and short communication latency. Relay aided D2D communication can further tackle the problem of intermediate obstacles blocking the communication. In this work, multidevice multicast communication via a layer of parallel relay nodes is considered. Two relaying strategies, respectively, called the conventional relaying (CR) and network-coded relaying (NCR), are proposed. The throughput of these two schemes is analytically derived and evaluated through numerical study. Theoretically, NCR shows advantage over CR in twofold: one is higher throughput and the other is requiring less relay nodes and, hence, consuming less aggregate power. Numerical studies verify the analysis and show that the throughput performance gap between the two schemes increases significantly, actually exponentially with the number of devices.

Abstract:
The UWB channel estimation and multiuser detection problem are investigated. The information symbol and channel parameter are considered as unknown variables. The multiuser detector and UWB channel estimator are designed jointly. For symbol detection, the one-step predictor of channel parameter is used and the estimation error is treated as a multiplicative noise; then a Riccati equation and a Lyapunov equation will be needed. If the transmitted symbols are uncorrelated and identically distributed random variables with zero mean and unit variance, only a Riccati equation needs to be solved. For UWB channel estimation, the one-step predictor of information symbol is used and the estimation error is also considered as a multiplicative noise. The solutions to the above two problems are obtained by solving a couple of Riccati equations together with two Lyapunov equations.

In this paper, we propose a new asynchronous multiuser communication system based on spread spectrum and chaotic symbolic dynamics modulation. By combining spread spectrum and chaotic modulation, the proposed system provides increased security by reducing the probability of detection while allowing multiuser transmissions. The sequence synchronization of chaos communication system is studied. A time acquisition technique based on serial search is proposed to achieve synchronization. An analysis is carried out to determine the probability of detection, the probability of false alarm and the bit error rate of the system. Simulation results show that the proposed system can achieve sequence synchronization under low signal-to-noise ratios, and also confirm our analytically computed expressions.

Abstract:
The security issue on the physical layer is of significant challenge yet of paramount importance for 5G communications. In some previous works, transmit power allocation has already been studied for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) secure communication with Gaussian channel inputs for both a single user and multiple users. Faced with peak transmission power constraints, we adopt discrete channel inputs (e.g., equiprobable Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) with symmetry) in a practical communication system, instead of Gaussian channel inputs. Finite-alphabet inputs impose a more significant challenge as compared with conventional Gaussian random inputs for the multiuser wiretap OFDM systems. This paper considers the joint resource allocation in frequency-domain artificial noise (AN) assisted multiuser wiretap OFDM channels with discrete channel inputs. This security problem is formulated as nonconvex sum secrecy rate optimization by jointly optimizing the subcarrier allocation, information-bearing power, and AN-bearing power. To this end, with a suboptimal subcarrier allocation scheme, we propose an efficient iterative algorithm to allocate the power between the information and the AN via the Lagrange duality method. Finally, we carry out some numerical simulations to demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm.

A new multiple access scheme, Waveform Division Multiple Access (WDMA) based on the orthogonal wavelet function, is presented. After studying the correlation properties of different categories of single wavelet functions, the one with the best correlation property will be chosen as the foundation for combined waveform. In the communication system, each user is assigned to different combined orthogonal waveform. Demonstrated by simulation, combined waveform is more suitable than single wavelet function to be a communication medium in WDMA system. Due to the excellent orthogonality, the bit error rate (BER) of multiuser with combined waveforms is so close to that of single user in a synchronous system. That is to say, the multiple access interference (MAI) is almost eliminated. Furthermore, even in an asynchronous system without multiuser detection after matched filters, the result is still pretty ideal and satisfactory by using the third combination mode that will be mentioned in the study.
