Abstract:
Allah Ta'ala has made the "Man"- the highest creations among all creations and has given him such sanctity and dignity which is not limited to life but continues after death. That's why in Islamic Shari'ah, clear orders have been given regarding the respect of the human body and it has not only been forbidden to do any kind of harm to it, but it has also made it obligatory to bury it with dignity and respect. Even the desecration of the dead body of a criminal who has committed the worst crimes and who has fought on behalf of the enemy in war is prohibited. But regrettably, in the recent past, both in peace and in war, there have been continuous incidents of desecration of human corpses, so the need was felt that in the life of a person, while giving death penalty for a crime or killing and after death, a Shari'a and legal approach based on honoring and respecting the human body should be brought forward. Keeping this need in mind, these three aspects have been examined in this Article under review, especially by mentioning the Quranic verses, Ahadith and the syings of Fuqaha, the Shariah ruling has been explained. Along with this, the current legal status of "Musla" has also been discussed in terms of international humanitarian law and other international laws.

Abstract:
Introduction – Self-mutilation is an uncommon manifestation of diverse mental disorders and is more frequent in the first psychotic episode. The ocular, genital, and limb regions are the main areas affected. Methods – Presented the case of a 25-year-old male deprived of liberty who committed bilateral self-enucleation using a razor blade secondary to a first psychosis episode. Results – Patient did the auto-mutilation associated with magical and religious delusions, but there was no clinical evidence to consider it an organic mental disorder. Discuss – Self-multilation during the first episode of psychosis is highly related to schizophrenia spectrum pathologies. Delusions, especially auditory delusions and substance abuse, should be a red flag of psychosis. Conclusion – Knowledge about the consequences of psychiatric pathologies has a relevant impact on morbidity and mortality, especially in vulnerable populations. The case demonstrated the necessity of prompt treatment and psychiatric intervention to avert personal and non-personal injuries. Keywords: self-enucleation, self-mutilation, psychosis, self-harm, case report.

Abstract:
Background: World Health Organization’s (WHO) defines female genital mutilation (FGM) as all procedures involving the total or partial removal of female external genitalia without any medical reasons. It is estimated that about 100 million women worldwide are circumcised. After circumcision compications such as bleeding, infection, shock, menstrual irregularity, dysuria, frequent urinary tract infections, pelvic pain and difficulty in sexual intercourse occur with varying frequencies. Methods: In this article, we aimed to discuss normal vaginal delivery results of 45 term pregnant cases with 3 types of female genital multilation/circumcision. We know that the vaginal entrance is closed as a result of adhesions in the genital area due to circumcision and secondary complications may develop. Results: The mean age of 45 patients included in the study was 26.2±8.78 years. Considering the postpartum complications, bilateral labial tissue ruptures in 15 cases, followed by vaginal hematoma in 9 cases, anal sphincter damage in 11 cases, deep episiotomy tears in 8 cases, periurethral tears in 8 cases, deep cervical tears in 8 cases, vulvar epidermoid cyst ruptures in 4 cases and 4 cases. perineal body ruptures were seen in 4 cases, vulvar hematoma in 4 cases, and vaginal mucosal damage in 9 cases. Conclusions: It has been shown once again that FGM/C is a method that completely changes the female vaginal anatomy and has very serious delivery complications. It is obvious that serious educations and studies need to be done in the countries where this method is applied.

Abstract:
The non-medical cutting or removal of some or all of the external female genitalia is known as female genital mutilation, or FGM. Physical health issues such scarring or keloids formation, infertility, infections, and irregular menstruation are reported to result from it. In addition, it causes perineal tears, protracted labor, and postpartum hemorrhage, among other difficulties during labor and delivery. Depression, low self-esteem, and post-traumatic stress disorder are possible psychological outcomes. Sexual dysfunction, including arousal, orgasm, lubrication, and satisfaction, can lead to a loss of connection for sufferers and, indirectly, for significant others. The purpose of this study was to ascertain the impact of female genital mutilation on the body, society, and mind. There were 200 FGM and 200 non-genital multination participants in this study. The impacts of female genital mutilation (FGM) on the victims' social, psychological, and physical well-being were assessed. The family of FGM group (N = 129) had a monthly family income of 50000 Naira or less, compared to 46 families (23%) earning 50000-100000 and 25 families (12.9%) having an income above 100000 naira. With regard to employment, 63 fathers (31.5%) described themselves as Traders. 55 (27.5%) of them were farmers, 18 (26.6%) of them were skilled workers, Civil Servants 42 (21%), and Self-employed 32 (16%). 8 (4%) fathers were retired. There are no differences between this group and the other. The findings showed that female with genital mutilation, had greater rates of somatic disturbance, anxiety disorder, and depression than those without female without genital multilation. Therefore, this study offers additional proof to medical professionals so they may start providing FGM patients with high-quality care right away.

Karst, Rusty V. "Semiglobalization: Institutional Effects on Multilatina Cross-Border Acquisitions." Thesis, University of North Texas, 2016. https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc849693/.

Abstract:
The internationalization research domain has predominantly focused on country level antecedents of firm level decisions, with particular emphasis on why certain countries are selected over others for foreign direct investment (FDI). This approach may oversimplify what actually occurs from both practical and research perspectives. Recently, MNE strategic orientation and conduct, as an outflow of a region-based localization perspective (i.e.,semiglobalization), has gained increased scholarly attention. The tradition of considering country level institutional environments may be more robustly informed by extending a paradigm which considers region-based institutions, in addition to country. Thus, in this study I examine institutional effects, as underpinned by institutional theory, on one segment of FDI decision making, cross-border acquisitions behavior, in an understudied context, Latin American MNEs (i.e., Multilatinas). Linear and mixed regression are used to test hypotheses, by examining a sample of all Multilatina CBAs exacted over a five year period (2007-2011)in targeting host country firms within eight geographic regions. Multilevel study results provide overarching support for hypotheses, that a Multilatina's internationalization into a country and region through cross-border acquisition equity participation is influenced by both country and region institutional environments. Contributions are made to the semiglobalization, cross-border acquisitions, institutions, and Multilatina literature streams through development of a more robust, multilevel perspective which more accurately captures how MNEs consider institutional environments in their international strategy and conduct.

Abstract:
