Abstract:
A curve on a projective variety is called movable if it belongs to an algebraic family of curves covering the variety. We consider when the cone of movable curves can be characterized without existence statements of covering families by studying the complete intersection cone on a family of blow-ups of complex projective space, including the moduli space of stable six-pointed rational curves and the permutohedral or Losev–Manin moduli space of four-pointed rational curves. Our main result is that the movable and complete intersection cones coincide for the toric members of this family, but differ for the non-toric member, the moduli space of six-pointed rational curves. The proof is via an algorithm that applies in greater generality. We also give an example of a projective toric threefold for which these two cones differ.

AbstractThe Morrison–Kawamata Cone Conjecture predicts that the action of the automorphism group on the effective nef cone and the action of the pseudo-automorphism group on the effective movable cone of a klt Calabi–Yau pair have rational, polyhedral fundamental domains. In [CPS], we proved the conjecture for certain blowups of Fano manifolds of index n - 1. In this paper, we consider the Morrison–Kawamata conjecture for blowups of Fano manifolds of index n - 2.

Abstract:
This paper describes the development of a movable manual electromagnet with an adjustable flux density to improve the inner surface smoothness of a cone pipe using a magnetic abrasive finishing process. This method is fabricated to reduce further the roughness of the internal surface of the conic shape, which was modeled as an electromagnet oscillating in the work zone with a ball roller. Statistically significant improvement in the process was achieved using unbounded magnetic abrasive, light oil, flux density, controlled feed rate, and constant rotational speed in the experiment. The ball transfer equipped on the top of the electromagnet pole plays an essential role in spinning over the outer cone pipe during the experiment and helps reduce friction while the workpiece fluctuates. Furthermore, the flux density can be changed to control the magnetic force and select the most acceptable option. In addition, a procedure for finishing has been designed for finishing a cone pipe, and we sought to understand how the flux density affects the material in removal exterior roughness. As a result, the flux density is clarified, and a higher flux density achieves excellent removal of surface roughness of the inner deformed pipe from 1.68 μm to 0.39 μm within 24 min.

AbstractWe exhibit a pseudoeffective $\mathbb{R}$-divisor ${D}_{\lambda }$ on the blow-up of ${\mathbb{P}}^{3}$ at nine very general points which lies in the closed movable cone and has negative intersections with a set of curves whose union is Zariski dense. It follows that the diminished base locus ${\boldsymbol{B}}_{-}({D}_{\lambda })={\bigcup }_{A\,\text{ample}}\boldsymbol{B}({D}_{\lambda }+A)$ is not closed and that ${D}_{\lambda }$ does not admit a Zariski decomposition in even a very weak sense. By a similar method, we construct an $\mathbb{R}$-divisor on the family of blow-ups of ${\mathbb{P}}^{2}$ at ten distinct points, which is nef on a very general fiber but fails to be nef over countably many prime divisors in the base.

In this article, we prove a finiteness result on the number of log minimal models for 3-folds in $\operatorname{char}p>5$. We then use this result to prove a version of Batyrev’s conjecture on the structure of nef cone of curves on 3-folds in characteristic $p>5$. We also give a proof of the same conjecture in full generality in characteristic 0. We further verify that the duality of movable curves and pseudo-effective divisors hold in arbitrary characteristic. We then give a criterion for the pseudo-effectiveness of the canonical divisor $K_{X}$ of a smooth projective variety in arbitrary characteristic in terms of the existence of a family of rational curves on $X$.

Abstract:
Abstract For a finite subgroup $$\Gamma \subset \mathrm {SL}(2,\mathbb {C})$$ Γ ⊂ SL ( 2 , C ) and for $$n\ge 1$$ n ≥ 1 , we use variation of GIT quotient for Nakajima quiver varieties to study the birational geometry of the Hilbert scheme of n points on the minimal resolution S of the Kleinian singularity $$\mathbb {C}^2/\Gamma $$ C 2 / Γ . It is well known that $$X:={{\,\mathrm{{\mathrm {Hilb}}}\,}}^{[n]}(S)$$ X : = Hilb [ n ] ( S ) is a projective, crepant resolution of the symplectic singularity $$\mathbb {C}^{2n}/\Gamma _n$$ C 2 n / Γ n , where $$\Gamma _n=\Gamma \wr \mathfrak {S}_n$$ Γ n = Γ ≀ S n is the wreath product. We prove that every projective, crepant resolution of $$\mathbb {C}^{2n}/\Gamma _n$$ C 2 n / Γ n can be realised as the fine moduli space of $$\theta $$ θ -stable $$\Pi $$ Π -modules for a fixed dimension vector, where $$\Pi $$ Π is the framed preprojective algebra of $$\Gamma $$ Γ and $$\theta $$ θ is a choice of generic stability condition. Our approach uses the linearisation map from GIT to relate wall crossing in the space of $$\theta $$ θ -stability conditions to birational transformations of X over $$\mathbb {C}^{2n}/\Gamma _n$$ C 2 n / Γ n . As a corollary, we describe completely the ample and movable cones of X over $$\mathbb {C}^{2n}/\Gamma _n$$ C 2 n / Γ n , and show that the Mori chamber decomposition of the movable cone is determined by an extended Catalan hyperplane arrangement of the ADE root system associated to $$\Gamma $$ Γ by the McKay correspondence. In the appendix, we show that morphisms of quiver varieties induced by variation of GIT quotient are semismall, generalising a result of Nakajima in the case where the quiver variety is smooth.

Abstract:
This work proposes the production of multi-walled carbon nanotubes by AC arc discharging of spectroscopically pure graphite electrodes of different shapes, that is, movable cylindrical and stationary rectangular electrode by manual metal arc welding setup. Continuous arc was generated by maintaining the gap of about 3 mm between the electrodes which in turn formed the plasma zone. Vaporization of carbon cations followed by sudden quenching paved the way for formation of carbon nantotubes. Nanotubes produced were deposited on the stationary graphite electrode in the form of soot. Further extraction of the nanoparticles from the soot was performed by conducting series of purification processes which will be discussed in upcoming chapters. Morphology and purity of the extracted nanotubes were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy. Following the characterization process, it was observed that the so-produced nanotubes were of different shapes, that is, carbon cone nanotubes, nanocapsules, nanoparticles and branching type and randomly oriented. The length of the nanotubes varied from 231 to 561 nm, whereas diameter was found to be in the range of 14–55 nm.

THE CARETAKER’S FEE FOR THE CUSTODY OF MOVABLES IN FORECLOSURESummaryIn compliance with the relevant Polish provisions, movables impounded by a bailiff are to be left in the custody of the person with whom they were found. In Article 855 of the Polish Code of Civil Procedure the legislator recognises the bailiff’s option to put impounded movables in the custody of another person, includinga creditor, who then performs the duties of caretaker of the impoundedmovables. The aim of this article is to present issues related to thecaretaker’s fee in foreclosure proceedings. When a movable item isentrusted to the custody of a third party a regulatory relation in publiclaw arises between the bailiff and the caretaker. The caretaker’s fee ispart of the costs of repossession, and are payable in the foreclosureproceedings. The costs of repossession, including the caretaker’s fee, may not be claimed in separate proceedings.

AbstractIn orthopedic hand surgeries C-arms are the standard imaging modalities for procedure and tool guidance. However, the currently used systems have a large footprint and high weight, which can lead to workspace restrictions and difficult positioning of the device at the desired imaging position. The aim of this paper is to present a prototype of a new, flexible, lightweight and small footprint X-ray system, which is capable to create 2D projection images from different orientations. The new design includes a miniaturized Xray tube covered in a custom-made case mounted on a flexible holding arm attached to the standard OR table rail. With that, fast positioning and fixation for the subsequent image acquisition is achieved. A flat panel detector is placed in an adjustable metal sheet construction below the table. For safety aspects an overlay of the X-ray cone beam with an integrated light source visualizes the irradiation area. The acquired images are visualized on a 2-in-1 netbook. A foot pedal initiates the imaging process. A prototype of the free movable miniaturized X-ray system FlexScan was build. Workspace restriction, usability and general imaging needs were simulated and tested. FlexScan has the potential to improve X-ray guided interventions on extremities especially for small private surgery centers. It fulfills the general imaging needs and is capable of producing 2D projection images from different orientations within a small and lightweight setup.

Abstract:
A jack-up structure is a bottom-mounted floating unit having an adjustable hull and movable legs. Particular jack-up structures are more susceptible to hazards under environmental loads during their operation and life cycle in the ocean. Authors' attempts here to enhance its life cycle and sustainability in shallow to deep waters by correctly accessing soil behaviour and predicting its load carrying capacity. Here the numerical analysis of the substructure has been attempted. Simulation of load-deformation behavior under axial compression has been carried out for advancing research. The entire study has been carried out using three-dimensional finite element-based software Plaxis 3D A.E. 2017. The geometrical variation of substructure spud can have an inverted spud at the centre bottom from 120 0 to 180 0 has been studied for knowing behaviour under axial compression, axial tension, and lateral forces. The simulated numerical model is used to develop empirical expressions for axial capacities estimation. The numerical analysis results indicate that spud can have an inverted angle of cone 130 0 is most beneficial under the static combined vertical, moment, and horizontal loading (3D loading) in marine clay. The axial load carrying capacities in compression, tension, and lateral loading follow the same sequence in ascending order from 180 0 ,175 0 , 150 0 , 130 0 and highest in 120 0 . Stiffness and undrained shear strength of soft clay contribute more than the diameter of the spud and embedment depth in compression and tension.

Abstract:
Decreasing ore grades is a common challenge for every gold mining country in the world. Deposits of low-grade and complex ores are increasingly brought into production. These ores are typically treated by hydrometallurgical methods, for example, heap leaching. Meanwhile, the use of cyanide and its alternatives poses a risk for the environment. Thus, the development of gravity methods including jigging in a centrifugal-field is becoming an attractive option of low-grade and complex ore processing. Two mathematical models have been developed using the regression method to predict grade and recovery characteristics of the products of a centrifugal jigging machine (CJM) with variable process parameters including jig chamber rotational speed, pulsation frequency and vibration amplitude of a movable cone, underscreen-water flow rate. The models are based on the results of the field trials of a pilot centrifugal jigging machine designed by JSC Irgiredmet at existing gold-processing plants. Mathematical modelling provided a means of the process parameters ranking according to their impact on the separation process. A model has been identified that ensures a more accurate prediction of the separation process variables (metal recovery in concentrate) when the CJM's adjustable parameters are changed. The object of the study is the centrifugal jigging method of gold-bearing ore separation. The scope of the study is mathematical modelling of gold-bearing ore separation using CJM. The objective of the study is the determination and ranking of the CJM's process parameters according to their impact on the separation process, identification of a model that ensures a more accurate prediction of the separation process variables. The methodology of the study involves finding the correlation between gold grade/gold recovery into the separation products and the CJM's adjustable parameters. The method of the study is regression analysis

Abstract:
The functional morphology of the jaw apparatus and the skull and the feeding habits of the extinct pycnodont fishes are reconstructed in comparison with some extant halecostomes. For this a short review of the functional units of the pycnodont head is given. The feeding mechanisms of pycnodonts exhibit a transition from simple stereotypic feeding kinematics, which are characteristic for primitive actinoptergians, to the modulating feeding kinematics of advanced teleosts and is called limited modulating feeding kinematics herein. Two structural specialisations which are found in halecostomes (operculum with distinct m. levator operculare and the interopercular bone with the interopercular ligament) are supposed to be absent in pycnodonts, whereas they maintain the two primitive couplings for direct mandibular depression (epaxial muscles &ndash; neurocranium, hypaxial muscles -cleithrum-m. sternohyoideus &ndash; hyoid apparatus). Advanced pycnodonts developed a new structure (upper jaw protrusion, resulting in an enlargment of the buccopharyngeal cavity), that is absent in halecomorphs (e.g., <i>Amia calva</i>) and basal pycnodonts (e.g., <i>Anduafrons, Mesturus</i>). The premaxillae and maxillae are firmly fixed in basal pycnodonts, whereas the premaxillae and maxillae are free and movable in advanced pycnodonts. Pycnodonts were benthic foragers with a combination of biting or nipping and suction feeding based on the "truncated cone morphology" of the buccopharyngeal cavity. It is concluded, that pycnodonts certainly were omnivorous feeders with a general broad range of prey. But they were also a highly specialised group on generic level in respect to their prey. This is indicated by gut contents, as far as they are known, which comprise only monospecific remains of shelled invertebrates (e.g., spines of echinoderms, shells of bivalves). The ecological demands of pycnodonts are discussed. <br><br> doi:<a href="http://dx.doi.org/10.1002/mmng.20010040110" target="_blank">10.1002/mmng.20010040110</a>

Abstract:
Tube hydroforming is a relatively new approach to manufacture light weight metal structures. As the manufacturing technology became advanced, demands of lighter and stronger metal structures are also increasing. This research is to use tube hydroforming to expand the tube of a fuel filler for cars. The pipe material is JIS G3141. The product has a large expansion ratio at the edge of the pipe. Traditional tube hydroforming is difficult to achieve this large expansion ratio of a metal product. Tube hydroforming with movable dies is proposed to enhance the capacity of tube hydroforming technology. With movable die design, product with more uniform thickness can be obtained, and the forming pressure becomes lower than that needed in tube hydroforming without movable dies. A finite element code DEFORM-3D is used to analyze the plastic flow pattern of the tube. The loading paths of internal pressure, axial punches and movable dies for obtaining a sound product are determined by an adaptive simulation algorithm. The thickness distributions of the product for different loading paths are discussed.

At the same time by introducing changes to the Polish Civil Code there have been introduced the relationships between entering thing in such a register and some regulated by the Polish Civil Code ways to acquire ownership of movable property, generally excluding the possibility of acquiring ownership of things entered into this register. The article analyzes these issues against the background of art. 169 and 174 of the Polish Civil Code (this is in the context of the acquisition of movable from an unauthorized person, and by prescription), and considers the civil effects of deleting things from the aforementioned register, depending on the cause of this deletion.

Abstract:
This article presents a brief history and poses questions about traditional Chinese movable type printing. This is a technology that developed in the pre-modern period and never underwent in the mechanization in the ways that Western movable type printing did. Nevertheless, even today, Chinese traditional movable types continue to be used in some places in China. The authors not only describe the chronology of but also analyse significant cultural, political, and social factors affecting the development traditional Chinese typography. The first part of this article discusses the movable type made of earthenware and of wood, which are described in various sources written by scholar-officials. In the case of movable type for the Tangut script, however, the main evidence come from chiefly religious imprints which provide information about material evidence as well as a few about printers, typesetters, etc. The second section describes the long hiatus from the Yuan until the second half of the fifteenth century in the utilization of metallic typography in the private circles in Wuxi in Jiangnan, whose publications still survive, and how during the last dynasty, the movable type production reflects some trends in book publishing in general, with the important engagement of some of the Manchu emperors. In the last section of the paper, the authors explain why although wooden types existed in the Kingdom of Xixia (1032-1227) and in the Yuan dynasty (1279-1368), it was only in the Ming (1368-1644) to Qing (1644-1911) periods that their use became more widespread in China. Wooden movable type played a key role in the printing of genealogies in various areas (e.g. Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangsu, Hunan, and Fujian). That all also indicates that wood is the “material medium” of traditional Chinese printing, never mind if employed in blocks or types.

Abstract:
In most civil law jurisdictions, the contract is the most used derivative title for the transfer of ownership (movable and immovable property). Very often, the law of property and law of contract are seen as distinct and one can envisage their role from different legal perspectives. This is closely connected with the type of transfer system based on whether the (Austrian) causal system, (German) abstract system or (French) consensual system is applicable. Kosovo is in the process of civil law codification and the Kosovo Draft-Civil Code which has followed the application of the causal system of transfer of property and such an above mentioned interaction of these two branches of civil law is mandatory, and only with a common survey can the contractual transfer of property be illustrated. The aim of this paper is to focus solely on the influence of contract law rules in connection with the acquisition of ownership over movable and immovable property determined by Kosovo Draft-Civil Code.

Abstract:
Abstract: This contribution contains a summary of the thesis that the author has defended at the Faculty of Law of the KU Leuven Kulak. The Belgian, as well as the French, transfer system is often presented to be consensual, meaning that the obligatory agreement not only gives rise to the existence of contractual rights and obligations, but also triggers the proprietary effects of the agreement (art. 1138 of the Civil Code). However, from a comparative, as well as from a historical, point of view, not the consensus, but the delivery requirement seems to be essential for the transfer of movable corporeal goods. The author examines the possible existence of such a delivery requirement in the Belgian transfer system of movable corporeal goods, considering some exceptions, such as the so-called "retention of ownership clause", where the obligatory agreement and the transfer of property rights are separated from one another, and the "double sale" where the person who has first been given possession will prevail and will be considered as owner of the movable corporeal good, at the requirement that his possession is in good faith (art. 1141 of the Civil Code). In other words, the author examines the question of whether the transfer of movable corporeal goods (still) requires a delivery act under Belgian law and thus to what extent the Belgian transfer system lends itself to European harmonization.

Abstract:
A simulation code of an electro-injector for diesel engines is presented with the preliminary parametric analysis carried out with the code. The simulation code is based upon the concentrated volume method as for the chambers of the system. Energy and flow rate conservation equations and dynamic equations are used for the movable parts of the system under stress or friction. The magnetic force acting on the electro-injector actuator has been calculated by means of a finite element simulation. The one-dimensional code simulated the propagation in feeding pipes and the control of the electro-injector. The program, in fact, uses the method of the characteristic equations to solve conservation equations, simulating the propagation in a pipe between two chambers. The sensitivity analysis has pointed out that the parameters that are influenced by the propagation in the pipes are: needle lift, injected flow rate, pressure in each chamber, and volume. The perturbations reduce the effective pressure of injection and are influenced by pipe lengths and diameters.

Construction of bridges span-by-span with Movable Scaffolding Systems (MSSs) is a very efficient and competitive technology. Normally used for spans between 25 and 70m, the technology has allowed reaching longer spans due to technological advances, specifically in bridge construction equipment. Thereby, the use of MSS has become widespread and well-accepted in a large number of locations across the USA and Europe. Nevertheless, despite its extended application, there is no single specific code provision that can explain, control, and give recommendations about all aspects of MSS during its design and usage. On the contrary, the information is spread over several documents. This paper aims at bridging this gap by providing an extensive review of code provisions and recommendations that can be valid for the MSS design. Applicability of these documents is discussed by analysing loads, safety factors, load combinations, limit states, as well as structural analysis and design. After this, a proposal of a design basis for MSS is presented for each aspect mentioned following provisions and recommendations of the considered codes.

A presumption is made in the favour of the possessor of a movable thing that he is the owner of the thing, and likewise it is presumed that a former possessor was the owner during the term of his possession. However, legal presumptions such as those behind the German Civil Code’s §1006, subsections 1 and 2 (or §90 of the Estonian Law of Property Act) are shifting the burden of proof to the other party, the one who is not or was not the possessor of the movable. The paper examines the attendant issues with regard to conflict of laws, with the conclusion that it remains unclear whether legal presumptions arising from possession should be qualified by the lex rei sitae doctrine (per the Introductory Act to the German Civil Code, Article 43, Subsection 1), instead as ‘rights over an object’ (under that article’s Subsection 2), or in line with procedural regulations (lex fori).

Abstract:
Abstract At present, the notice filing system under Article 9 of the United States Uniform Commercial Code is seen as the most influential model worldwide for a registry of security rights in movables. However, the US system, established in 1952 and currently still in transition towards electronic filing, does not meet state-of-the-art technology standards. By contrast, the Belgian Pledge Registry, operational since 1 January 2018, is a fully automated electronic registry system that benefits from the advantages of modern technology. The question therefore arises whether the Belgian Pledge Registry has the potential to become a new additional leading model for registration of security interests in movables. To answer this question, we will test the extent to which the Belgian Pledge Registry meets the current international standards for a modern and efficient registry of security rights in movables, as set out in United Nations Commission on International Trade Law instruments and the European Draft Common Frame of Reference.

In this paper, a complete three-dimensional (3D) RF model of the cyclotron coaxial resonator—including the coaxial sliding shorts, the “Liner” vacuum chamber, the coupler, the trimmer, and the high RF voltage “Dee” structures—has been developed. An eigenmode analysis was used to simulate the tuning of the resonator in the operating frequency range of 15–48 MHz obtained by two movable sliding shorts and a trimmer. A driven analysis has been performed in order to compute the |S11| parameter (or impedance matching) of the cavity excited by a movable coaxial power coupler. The numerical simulations have been performed using the different peculiarities of two commercial tools, COMSOL Multiphysics and CST microwave studio. Experimental validation of the developed model is presented. The evidence of an unwanted electric field component, orthogonal to the accelerating field, was discovered and a mitigation is also proposed. The impact of the proposed modification was evaluated by using a 3D beam dynamics code under development in the framework of the Superconducting Cyclotron upgrade ongoing at INFN-LNS.

This article presents the issue of the admissibility of seizure of movable property in court enforcement. The analysis of the issue in question was made not only in the light of the current legal situation, i.e. the state resulting from the changes introduced by the Act of 22 March 2018 on Court Bailiffs, but also taking into account the comments relating to the previously binding procedural regulations. The purpose of this amendment is to increase the protection of non-debtors by replacing the costly and time-consuming process to exempt things from enforcement under Art. 841 of the Code of Civil Procedure with the necessity to withdraw from the seizure. However, these are not the only changes in the area of legal regulation of seizures aimed at increasing the protection of third parties. The changes motivated in such a way also included the legal regulation of the measures available to a third party in the event of seizure of movable property owned by it. This issue has also been analyzed in this study.

Abstract:
AbstractProperty norms, in expressing a relationship among people through resources, must address in some manner the organization of property rights and the classification of objects of property. Both the Civil Code of the Russian Federation and the Civil Code of Quebec express some notion of the idea of what the author has called property-as-object, taking the form of certain distinctions: movable/immovable, corporeal/incorporeal, capital/revenue, or in commerce/out of commerce. The Russian code contains a rich discussion of the objects of property, with a larger, more explicit formal role for objects in the understanding of property rights as compared to the Quebec code. The articles on objects in general manifest the traditional civilist distinctions, while set in the context of present Russian society. Moreover, notwithstanding some initial lack of clarity in the Russian code's classifi cation between the objects of property and the subject-matter of other patrimonial rights, the objects of property are clearly distinguishable as a category and are important to understanding property relations. Despite the focus in the Russian code on "things" as the objects of property as opposed to "rights in things", it is nevertheless the case that the latter are an important part of the property relationship, and cannot be disentangled from "things".

Abstract:
It has been sufficiently established in law and finance literature that an effective legal framework that governs non-possessory security transactions is a key component in the realization of financial inclusion and affordable access to credit in market economies. Recently, the Nigerian lawmakers enacted the Secured Transactions in Movable Assets Act 2017 (STMA), which was modelled after the United States’ Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC Article 9) and its unitary-functional approach to security interests. Arguably, some of the STMA’s provisions are defective: they do not reflect the local conditions in Nigeria and are likely to frustrate its section 1 aim of broadening access to credit for individuals and small businesses. The STMA recognizes registration as the main method of perfection: yet there are multiple but unlinked movable collateral registries in Nigeria which ultimately constitute a breeding ground for secret liens. This article argues that the relegation of other perfection methods, such as ‘possession’ and ‘control’, will diminish the economic success of the reformed law. It calls for a reconsideration of the rules governing publicity and the perfection of security interests under the STMA with insights and lessons from the UCC Article 9 and its underlying case law.

Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) is the interplay of some movable or deformable structure with an internal or surrounding fluid flow. Flow brought about vibrations of two airfoils used in wind turbine blades are investigated by using a strong coupled fluid shape interplay approach. The approach is based totally on a regularly occurring Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) code that solves the Navier-Stokes equations defined in Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) coordinates by way of a finite extent method. The need for the FSI in the wind Turbine system is studied and comprehensively presented.

Abstract:
Small nuclear reactors can offer safe, reliable, and long-lasting district heating and electrical power generation to remote locations in northern Canada. A conceptual design of an organic-cooled and moderated reactor based upon the SLOWPOKE-2 research reactor is proposed for potential employment in northern Canada. For viability, this design extends the SLOWPOKE-2’s power to 1 MWth. An added pump circulates the organic coolant, a partially hydrogenated terphenyl mixture known as HB-40, to facilitate greater heat transfer. The reactor incorporates the same low-enriched uranium dioxide fuel as the SLOWPOKE-2. Reactor control is accomplished through hafnium absorber rods and a movable beryllium reflector. The reactor neutronics are simulated using the deterministic code, WIMS-AECL, and the probabilistic code, MCNP 6. The service life of fuel in this reactor operating at full power exceeds 11 years. The conceptual design has demonstrated negative reactivity coefficients indicating strong potential for inherent safety.

Abstract:
Problems associated with the possibility of the stipulation of preemptive rights by contract and their effective protection are researched in this article. Based on the examples of German, French and Swiss civil legislation, we establish that contractual preemption is widely used in Europe as a convenient instrument to formalize the interests of the participants in a civil turnover. In this connection, in Russian civil doctrine, the widespread idea that preemptive rights may be stipulated only by law, not by contract, should be revised. We state that the essence of the institution of preemptive rights predetermines its remedy. Historically Russian civil law provides specific remedy in case of breach of the most spread statutory preemptive rights. It is a claim by the entitled person (holder of preemption) against a third party (counterparty of obliged person whose contract breached the preemption) to transfer from the third party to the entitled person the rights and duties that arose under the contract between the third party and the obliged person. This remedy is more efficient for the entitled person than damages. In accordance with the principle of good faith, it may be used only in cases in which the third party knew or should have known about preemption. However, this requirement is complied in relation to protection of statutory preemptions only. As far as both contractual preemptive rights and contracts stipulated the latter are not recognized and not registered in Russia, such suit will be dismissed by court. The lack of effective protection of contractual preemptions impedes the creation of full-fledge system of preemptive rights in Russian civil law.In order to create effective mechanism of protection of contractual preemptive rights by giving the participants of a civil turnover the opportunity to ascertain if there is a contractual preemptions, we suggest that Russian civil legislation should be added by two registration systems. The first is a system for the registration of contracts that stipulate preemptions over immovable property (or registration of the preemptions itself which is better) provided by the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Russian Federation. The second is a system for the registration of notifications on the conclusion of contracts that stipulate contractual preemptive rights over movable things that could be established by an expansion of the existing system for the e-registration of notifications оf pledges of movable things under the jurisdiction of the Federal Chamber of Notaries of the Russian Federation.

Abstract:
Everything in the universe is movable or being moved, starting from galaxies and planets to the smallest object, such as the atom. But how can we conceptualize the motion of such entities and what are the basic elements of sequential scene? To do that, a theory of the sequential schematic scene-building has developed to treat this issue. This theory deals with the basic dynamic, on-line, or real-time perceptual processes by which we build a scene. The study focuses on the schematic, not conceptual, elements of sequential scenes which deal with the highly abstracted, primitive system. Such system is considered as the skeleton or building blocks of any sequential scene. To make the theory more applicable, the study selects a scene from Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code to be analyzed in terms of the theory developed. The study arrived at a conclusion that the moveable scene can include a group of sequential schematic structures, such as the mover, motion, causality, geometrical structures, and containment. All these elements work together sequentially in the sense that they are inherently consolidated.

A laser annealing system for the CMOS IC processing is setup, consisting of a solid-state laser, a beam delivery system, a 2D movable wafer stage, an auxiliary heating system, and a chamber that holds all the above modules. The complexity of the system makes it much difficult to achieve a stable performance. Each related process factor is deliberated, and the strategies controlling of theses process parameters are then determined. A reconciling control method to balance the effect of laser energy density and laser beam shape is considered to maximize total production and reliability. A piece of Matlab code is programmed to assess the controlling effect. We found from running the system that after combining these strategies, system stability is improved, and desirable laser annealing process effects can be promised.

Abstract:
Enabling the use of future receivables as collateral to access to credit is highly economically meaningful, as its development is for one thing to assist businesses and individuals to access the capital easily with movable assets to be accrued in the future, and for another thing to encourage lending by reducing the financial vulnerability of lenders. In Vietnam, the recognition of future objects as a form of property eligible to be used as collateral since the 2005 Civil Code has had positive impacts on business financing. However, the term “future objects” does not explicitly cover all types of assets to be formed in the future such as future property rights not categorized as eligible collaterals. This shortcoming later has been revised and supplemented under Decree 163/2006/ND-CP, amended by Decree 11/2012/ ND-CP (Collectively Decree 163) which permits the creation of security over both existing and future receivables. The 2005 Civil Code has been replaced by the 2015 Civil Code, and it is necessary to revise or replace Decree 163 to reflect the changes in the Civil Code and the new practice. Vietnamese Government has been collecting comments for a draft decree on security measures to replace Decree 163, and this article aims to analyze the legal schemes in the former and current Civil Code regarding the use of future receivables as security for performance obligations, and compare with Japanese laws on securitization of future receivables in Japan. The author will try to provide suggestions drawing from Japanese lawmaking for reforming Vietnamese statutory.

When entering into a legal agreement, it is not unusual for one of the parties to ask the other to provide some security so as to ensure that the latter's obligations under the agreement will be fulfilled. There are two basic forms of security, personal and real. In personal security for a loan, the borrower arranges for a third party to come forward and to promise the lender that he will fulfil the borrower's obligations in the event that the borrower does not make interest payments or repay the principal. In real security, the borrower pledges some of his property, either movable or immovable, as security to the creditor. If the borrower defaults, the creditor has the right to seize the property pledged as security, and, if he wishes, to sell it for cash in lieu of repayment.

Resume. The high prevalence of periodontal disease causes the urgency of finding ways to improve methods of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of complications of this disease. The complex clinical picture requires a differentiated approach to the choice of orthopedic rehabilitation of such patients taking into account the patient's age, degree of pathological changes and activity of the pathological process with mandatory immobilization of movable teeth by different types of splints and splint dentures. Depending on the degree of pathological changes in periodontal tissues, the size and topography of dentition defects and the severity of destructive-resorptive processes in the alveolar bone, the replacement of dentition defects should be planned using dental implants and splinttype dentures. The aim of the study. Improving the effectiveness of orthopedic treatment of periodontal diseases, burdened by defects of the dentition through the differentiated use of dental implants and splinting structures. Materials and methods. A comprehensive clinical and laboratory examination of 237 patients with clinically diagnosed periodontitis I–III degree, burdened by partial loss of teeth. From the specified contingent of persons we carried out orthopedic treatment of 98 patients aged from 30 to 69 years with periodontal diseases of various severity, aggravated by defects of dentitions of various size and localization. Cone-beam computed tomography was used for objective quantitative and qualitative assessment of periodontal tissue and bone tissue of the edentulous jaw in individuals with various clinical forms of periodontal disease, to determine the relative densitometric density of bone tissue, when planning dental implantation and for control its results. The localization of supracontacts was determined by occlusion. Diagnosis and elimination of traumatic occlusion were performed according to Jenkelson and Schuller [3]. Evaluation of the stability of dental implants was performed by frequency – resonance analysis of the stability of dental implants using the Osstell ISQ device. Results. According to the results of examination of 237 people and the division of patients into three age groups, the clinical features of the pathological process in the age aspect were established. The results of computed tomography of the dental apparatus of the subjects showed that periodontal disease in the age aspect in the dynamics is accompanied by the severity of destructive-resorptive processes in the alveolar bone, which are manifested in a decrease in the relative densitometric density of bone marrow and bone loss. Orthopedic rehabilitation of this contingent of persons was performed with the use of biologically indifferent structural materials and splinting orthopedic structures, including splinting of abutment teeth, removable prosthetics and dental implantation, as well as accompanying physiotherapy of prostheses. In the case of periodontitis of I–II degree with sufficient volume and density of bone tissue in the area of the dentition defect, high clinical efficacy was shown by the use of dental implantation in the case of gradual loading of the dental implant using a superstructure of own development. In the presence of medium and large defects of the dentition on the background of periodontitis II–III severity in the presence of significant pathological mobility of abutment teeth and insufficient volume and density of bone tissue in the area of the defect sufficient clinical effectiveness showed the use of removable dentures own design. Conclusions. Periodontal diseases in the age aspect in the dynamics are accompanied by pronounced destructive-resorptive processes in the alveolar bone, which are manifested by a decrease in the relative densitometric density of bone tissue and progressive loss of height of the alveolar process. Timely application of dental implantation due to the dosed gradual occlusal load on the alveolar bone helps to preserve the structure of the alveolar bone and the height of the alveolar process. In the presence of medium and large defects of the dentition on the background of periodontitis II–III severity in the presence of significant pathological mobility of abutment teeth and insufficient volume and density of bone tissue in the area of the dentition defect, the use of removable dentures of splinttype design is shown. To prevent complications of prosthetics and prolong the use of orthopedic structures, it is advisable to use photodynamic maintenance therapy. Key words: periodontal tissue disease, dentition defect, dental implantation, splint-type denture.

Abstract:
Pawn is the right to a movable item that is attached to a person for assistance in the form of giving debt to another person. Submission of the movable goods by the person who owes the party giving the debt, is given as collateral. If in the future the debtor is defaulted, does not repay the debt when it is due, the collateral can be auctioned. Pawnshops based on the Civil Code Article 1150 are pocketing official permission to manage, assist, and develop all forms of financial activities by giving injections of funds to people in the form of financing. Auth (main tasks and functions) of pawning is protecting, fostering, and providing protection in the form of loan funds with the intent and purpose so that people are not caught up in various offers and financial assistance by non-formal financial institutions that relatively utilize the community, "strangling" with interest very high. Based on the analysis of the author's research, there are many non-formal financial institutions that provide loans with very high interest rates, this pattern of loans weighs heavily on society. This action is contrary to the law which aims to prosper society. The legal basis for shari'ah mortgage is to refer to the values or norms contained in the DSN-MUI fatwa No. 25 / DSN-MUI / III / 2002 dated June 26, 2002 which confirms that it is permissible to borrow money by pawning goods as collateral for debt. However, at the perfective level of institutional governance, it is based on Government Regulation No. 10 of 1990 which was ratified on April 10, 1990.
