Ce travail comporte essentiellement deux conclusions. D'une part nous déterminons une minoration de la hauteur de Faltings d'une variété abélienne quelconque sur un corps de nombres faisant intervenir de nouveaux invariants non archimédiens. Il s'agit de la première partie de ce travail dans lequel nous introduisons systématiquement ces invariants. Ils sont liés à la géométrie non archimédienne aux places de mauvaise réduction des variétés abéliennes.Dans une deuxième partie nous donnons une évaluation approximative de ces invariants nous permettant d'établir une minoration de la hauteur de Faltings faisant intervenir le nombre de composantes de la fibre spéciale du modèle de Néron des variétés abéliennes aux places de mauvaise réduction.On déduit de ces estimations un corollaire qui fournit une borne sur le cardinal du groupe des points rationnels de torsion des variétés abéliennes faisant essentiellement intervenir la hauteur de Faltings. On the one hand we determine a lower bound for the Faltings height of abelian varieties over number fields in which enter new non-archimedean invariants. It consists in the first part of this work in which we introduce systematically this invariants. They are directly linked to the non-archimedean geometry of abelian varities at places of bad reduction.In a second part we provides an approximative evaluation of this invariants which leads to a lower bound on the Faltings heights in terms of the number of components of the special fiber of the Néron model of abelian varieties at places of bad reduction.We deduce from this estimates a corollary that provides an upper bound on the cardinality of the group of rational torsion points of abelian varieties essentially in terms of the Falting height. This bound is the best bound known till now

L'initiation d'Henri Beyle à la solitude et à la mort se passe essentiellement dans la chambre de la « mère morte, » dans une intimité à la tonalité érotique. La présente étude a le projet d’analyser l'univers de la représentation inconsciente de Stendhal à partir d'un thème unique : celui de la chambre de la « mère morte », remplie du sentiment de la solitude et de la mort. La spécificité de son expérience de la chambre poursuit Henri Beyle la vie durant, et se reflète dans son univers romanesque. Les images poétiques, résultant des situations symboliques de la chambre, de la solitude et de la mort, sont nombreuses et expriment un processus inconscient de l'écriture stendhalienne. Que l'on fasse de la mort un accomplissement de la solitude, de la solitude une approche de la mort, la mort est envisagée par Stendhal comme un retour. La chambre est à la fois le point de départ et le point d'arrivée. Dans le monde imaginaire recherché par les héros stendhaliens se trouve toujours la chambre de la « mère morte ». L'art devient un moyen de surmonter le complexe de la mort. C'est dans l'écriture romanesque qu'Henri Beyle retrouve la place vide de sa mère et une chambre à soi<br>A seven-year-old child, not yet mature enough to comprehend the meaning of death, cannot mourn the loss of his mother, is cruelly punished by his aunt. That boy is Stendhal. Henri Beyle's realization of the images of solitude and death is mainly portrayed in his dead mother's bedroom, which has an erotic and incestuous atmosphere. This study explains the universe of Stendhal's unconscious representation, beginning with this unique theme: his dead mother's room which is filled with the feeling of solitude and death. The specific experience of the room continues to obsess Henri Beyle throughout his life, and his literary works are impelled by the memories or the images of his mother. The poetic images, resulting from the symbolic situation of the room, and obviously solitude and death, are numerous, and express an unconscious process of Stendhal's writing. Whether we consider death as a circumambulation around the theme of solitude, or whether we consider death as what lies inside solitude, death is regarded by Stendhal as a way to get back to his mother. His dead mother's room is both the starting and the ending point. At the heart of the imaginary work sought by Stendhal's protagonists, mother's room is easily found. Art then becomes a way to overcome the obsession with death. It's in the romantic writing that Stendhal found the empty space left by his mother, and his own room. This is the originality of Stendhal's piece

Cette thèse étudie les rapports entre la mort et le péché dans les écrits de Sir Thomas More (1478–1535). L’un des objectifs est de rechercher les motivations spirituelles et non politiques qui ont pu pousser l’auteur à choisir délibérément le martyre, mais sans réduire sa vie aux mois qui ont précédé son exécution. Partant de l’évolution de la conception de la mort et du salut dans la pensée occidentale, l’analyse se propose de déterminer la position de Thomas More dans le discours pastoral de la chrétienté, et l’originalité de son propos par rapport à quelques autres humanistes du XVIe siècle, notamment dans l’élaboration des artes moriendi. Le péché, jugé mortifère suivant l’enseignement paulinien et augustinien, est étudié sous ses divers aspects dans les écrits moriens : péché originel et péché capital, péché mortel et péché véniel. Il est un sujet de polémique essentiel au moment de la lutte contre les luthériens, dans laquelle More se distingue tout particulièrement et qui fera évoluer sa position vers une plus grande rigidité. L’étude se poursuit par une exploration des représentations moriennes de l’au-delà : Jugement, enfer, diable et purgatoire. Une définition du paradis morien clôture une ultime partie consacrée à la sainteté et au martyre. La thèse avancée est que Thomas More a choisi le martyre pour être assuré de gagner le paradis, poussé par la crainte de la damnation peut-être, mais surtout mu par un exceptionnel désir du ciel perceptible dans l’ensemble de ses écrits<br>This study examines the relationship between death and sin in the writings of Sir Thomas More (1478-1535). It aims at better understanding the author and researching the spiritual motivations – independently of the political reasons – which may have driven him to deliberately choose martyrdom, but without reducing his life to its last months. Drawing from the evolution of the conception of death and salvation in Western thinking, the analysis endeavours to determine Thomas More’s position in Christian pastoral teaching, and to show the originality of his approach compared to that of a few other 16th century humanists, especially as regards ars moriendi. Since Paul, and then Augustine, established that sin brought death, the two concepts are analysed in relation to each other, and various aspects of sin are examined, such as original sin and capital sins, mortal and venial sins. In the fight against Lutheran ideas, the conception of sin is a polemical subject, and More, at the core of the debate, is led to harden his position on the matter. The study then explores the Morean representations of after-life : Judgement, Hell, the devil and Purgatory. A definition of the Morean paradise marks the end of the last part of this study, devoted to sainthood and martyrdom. The thesis developed here is that Thomas More chose martyrdom to be assured of a place in paradise, out of fear of damnation perhaps, but more likely, out of an exceptional longing for heaven, perceptible throughout his work

The agreement, currently known in judiciary praxis as patto di quota lite, through which a lawyer undertakes the defence of a client with the understanding that he will receive as fee a part of the amount the latter will achieve in case of victory of the lawsuit, derives from Roman juridical experience. The institution of quota litis is often subject to unbending prohibitions: examples of such reaction of the legal system, even if with different gradation, are found in both the Swiss and Italian norms. On the one hand, in the Helvetian Confederation, both at cantonal and federal level, the pactum de quota litis has been always prohibited to protect the public interest so that the lawyer handling a lawsuit might be independent in his decisions and not forced by personal interests that somehow could undermine his neutrality. On the other hand, this institution in Italy has been subject to several reforms that sometimes have apparently produced a partial opening of the legal system but, in essence, have always maintained firm the principle of its unlawfulness; this, as emerges from the sentences of the Corte di Cassazione, aims to avoid the lawyer taking advantage of his influence to ascribe to himself the majority of the dispute and consequently does not guarantee a role of independence in regard to the lawsuit he is handling. After this initial comparative digression, the Roman sources which in all probability concern the illicit covenant, have been examined with exegetic method. A dubitative attitude is obligatory because the expression pactum de quota litis, continuously recalled in the juridical literature of every later time, is not a creation of the Roman people but of their medieval exegetes, glossators and commentators, who first created the expression we know nowadays. It is mostly a question of late classical juridical sources, in particular of two responsa of the jurist Ulpianus (D.50.13.1.12; D.2.14.53), a text taken from the Institutio Oratoria of the rhetor Quintilianus and a pair of constitutions of the emperor Constantinus (C.2.6.5 and C.Th.2.10.4), which show the blame that such agreement between the lawyer and his client (or sometimes between the procurator ad litem and his dominus litis too) provoked. Its contrariety to boni mores is understandable in these texts through expressions like malo more, non licet, abominanda negotiatio and illicita compendia. However, the ratio of this opposition to morality is not made clear; this issue has been pursued considering social and economic reasons that have marked the passage, from the unbreakability of the principle of gratuity of lawyer activity to provisions legally defined and certified by imperial constitutions. However, it was not possible to leave another issue out of consideration because of its strict relation and complexity within the doctrinal opinions that have been studied and compared in the present analysis. I refer to the institution of redemptio litis that, according to jurists of the XVI and XVII century (for instance Johann Schiller, Johann Brunnemann, Iacobus Curtius), was completely assimilable to the hypothesis of the so called patto di quota lite. I have attempted to take up a position following the literature of the last century about the subject (for instance Vittorio Scialoja and the up-to-date Mariano Scarlata Fazio and Gianni Santucci). According to their opinions there are two behaviours, although equally illegal, different as to content. Redimere litem generally means “taking on the risk of the lawsuit” against the payment of a fee (as D.17.1.6.7, D.17.1.7; C.2.12.15 and C.4.35.20 explain), by having recourse to the mechanism of trial replacement that made the transfer of credits and debts possible for a procurator in rem suam, but it assumes also the meaning of “purchasing a credit at low cost” to recover from the transferred debtor the whole nominal value (as in C.4.35.22, where the content of the lex Anastasiana is reported). In both cases speculation is dominant and both cases in point were not tolerated by the system of laws because considered opposite to morality. Certainly the redemptio litis could be used also to pay the lawyer (or the substitute in a trial), like the pactum de quota litis which shared the imputation of immorality, but in any case it was a different agreement in nature (transfer of contentious credit and not simple pactum) and in content (purchase of the whole trial position of the surrender and not of a part of the proceeds in case of victory of the lawsuit). The inseparable linkage between the technical contrivance by means of which the redemptio litis was carried out, the procuratio ad litem in rem suam, and the mandate have been the crucial points to elaborate the final considerations about the unlawfulness of such an agreement within the classical Roman legal and late classic experience.<br>Die Vereinbarung, welche gegenwärtig in der Rechtspraxis als quota-litis-Vereinbarung bekannt ist, hat ihre Wurzeln im römischen Recht. Bei dieser Vereinbarung übernimmt der Rechtsanwalt die Vertretung des Mandanten mit der Absprache, dass jener als Honorar einen Teil von dem erhalten soll, was dieser im Fall eines Prozessgewinns erlangen wird. Das Institut der quota-litis-Vereinbarung ist häufig Gegenstand strenger Verbote. Beispiele einer solchen Reaktion der Rechtsordnung findet man – wenn auch mit verschiedenen Abstufungen – im schweizerischen wie auch im italienischen Recht. Einerseits war die quota-litis-Vereinbarung in der Schweizer Eidgenossenschaft sowohl auf kantonaler als auch auf föderaler Ebene schon seit jeher verboten, um das öffentliche Interesse daran zu schützen, dass der Berufsträger in seinen Entscheidungen unabhängig ist, wenn er eine Rechtssache führt, und sich nicht von persönlichen Interessen leiten lässt, die auf irgendeine Art seine Neutralität gefährden können. Andererseits erfuhr sie in Italien verschiedene Reformen, die zwar bisweilen eine Teilöffnung der Rechtsordnung mit sich brachten, aber stets an dem Prinzip ihrer Widerrechtlichkeit festhielten; wie sich aus der höchstrichterlichen Rechtsprechung ergibt, verfolgt man damit den Zweck zu vermeiden, dass der Rechtsanwalt seinen Einfluss missbraucht, um den Großteil der streitgegenständlichen Sache zu beanspruchen, und infolgedessen keine Position der Unparteilichkeit und Unabhängigkeit im Hinblick auf den Rechtsstreit gewährleistet, an dem er mitwirkt. Nach diesem anfänglichen rechtsvergleichenden Exkurs werden mit Hilfe der exegetischen Methode diejenigen römischen Quellenzeugnisse untersucht, welche höchstwahrscheinlich diese rechtswidrige Vereinbarung betreffen. Eine skeptische Haltung ist zwingend erforderlich, da die Urheberschaft des Ausdrucks pactum de quota litis, anders als in der juristischen Literatur aller Epochen immer behauptet wird, nicht den Römern selbst zuzuerkennen ist, sondern ihren mittelalterlichen Exegeten, den Glossatoren und den Kommentatoren, die als erste den Ausdruck geprägt haben, den wir heute kennen. Es handelt sich hauptsächlich um klassische und spätantike Rechtsquellen, insbesondere um zwei responsa des Juristen Ulpian (D. 50, 13, 1, 12; D. 2, 14, 53), um einen Ausschnitt aus der Institutio Oratoria des Rhetors Quintilian (Inst. 12, 7, 11) und um zwei constitutiones des Kaisers Konstantin (C. 2, 6, 5 und CTh. 2, 10, 4), in denen das missbilligende Empfinden aufscheint, welches eine solche Vereinbarung zwischen dem Anwalt (oder zuweilen auch zwischen dem procurator ad litem und dem dominus litis) und dem Klienten auslöste. Ihr Widerspruch zu den boni mores ergibt sich in den Texten aus Wendungen wie malo more, non licet, abominanda negotiato und illecita compendia. Allerdings geht aus diesen nicht die ratio dieses Widerspruchs zu den guten Sitten hervor. Auf diese Frage wurde versucht, eine Antwort zu geben, indem auf die sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Beweggründe verwiesen wurde, welche den Übergang von der Unabdingbarkeit des Prinzips der Unentgeltlichkeit der Anwaltstätigkeit zu der Festlegung gesetzlich bestimmter Honorare kennzeichneten, die auch durch kaiserliche Reskripte bezeugt sind. Es konnte jedoch nicht von der Vertiefung einer weiteren Frage abgesehen werden, deren enger Zusammenhang und deren gleichzeitige Komplexität in den Lehrmeinungen deutlich wurde, die an dieser Stelle untersucht und überprüft wurden. Ich beziehe mich auf das Institut der redemptio litis, welches gemäß der allgemeinen Überzeugung der Gelehrten des 16. und 17. Jahrhunderts (z. B. Johann Schilter, Johann Brunnemann, Iacobus Curtius) mit dem Fall einer quota-litis-Vereinbarung völlig vergleichbar war. Es wurde versucht, hierzu Stellung zu nehmen, indem der Literatur des vergangenen Jahrhunderts zu diesem Thema zugestimmt wurde (z. B. Vittorio Scialoja und jüngst Mariano Scarlato-Fazio und Gianni Santucci), gemäß der es sich um zwei Tatbstände handeln soll, die zwar gleichermaßen unrechtmäßig gewesen seien, sich aber dem Inhalt nach unterschieden hätten. Redimere litem bedeutet in den Quellen für gewöhnlich “das Prozessrisiko übernehmen” gegen Zahlung eines Entgelts (so in D. 17, 1, 6, 7; D. 17, 1, 7; C. 2, 12, 15; C. 4, 35, 20), indem man auf den Mechanismus der Prozessübernahme zurückgreift, der die Übertragung von Forderungen und Schulden auf den procurator in rem suam gestattete; dieser Terminus erlangt auch die Bedeutung “kostengünstig eine Forderung erwerben”, um von dem Schuldner der abgetretenen Forderung ihren gesamten Nominalwert einzutreiben (so in C. 4, 35, 22, wo der Inhalt der lex Anastasiana berichtet wird). In beiden Fällen herrscht das spekulative Element vor und beide Tatbestände wurden von der Rechtsordnung nicht toleriert, da man sie als den guten Sitten zuwider beurteilte. Sicherlich konnte auch die redemptio litis ebenso wie die quota-litis-Vereinbarung, mit der sie die Sittenwidrigkeit gemein hatte, verwendet werden, um den Anwalt (oder den Prozessübernehmer) zu entlohnen; aber es handelte sich in jedem Fall um eine nach Art (Zession einer streitbefangenen Forderung und nicht einfach ein pactum) und Inhalt (Erwerb der ganzen prozessualen Lage des Zedenten und nicht eines Teils des Erlöses im Fall des Prozessgewinns) andere Vereinbarung. Die untrennbare Verbindung zwischen dem technischen Hilfsmittel, mit dem man die redemptio litis verwirklichte, der procuratio ad litem in rem suam, und dem Mandat bildete den Schwerpunkt der Ausarbeitung von abschließenden Erwägungen betreffend die Widerrechtlichkeit einer derartigen Vereinbarung im römischen Recht der Klassik und Spätklassik.

La mia tesi consiste nella traduzione di un romanzo poliziesco dal francese all'italiano. Il romanzo è stato scritto da Stanislas-André Steeman, un autore belga che scriveva in francese. Questo romanzo è inedito in Italia, quindi la mia è la prima traduzione del testo disponibile. Il mio intento non è solo quello di proporre la traduzione di un romanzo sconosciuto in Italia, ma anche quello di riproporre al pubblico di lettori un autore ormai dimenticato all'estero, anche se agli inizi del ‘900 la sua fama era in un certo senso internazionale. Steeman è ritenuto uno degli autori di romanzi polizieschi più dotati, questo soprattutto grazie al suo più conosciuto romanzo poliziesco L’assassin habite au 21, un classico della letteratura belga. In realtà Steeman ha avuto un riconoscimento in patria del suo talento solo dopo la sua morte, la mancanza di questo riconoscimento lo turbò al punto che passò gli ultimi otto anni della sua vita in depressione e in esilio. Quando ho iniziato il lavoro di traduzione la mia idea era di evidenziare le espressioni del francese belga all'interno del testo, ma durante il lavoro mi sono resa conto che l’autore scriveva in francese standard anche se utilizzava molte parole, espressioni, similitudini e metafore ormai fuori uso oppure inventate da lui; quindi il lavoro di traduzione ha richiesto molta attenzione ma anche molta fantasia per cercare di mantenere gli stessi giochi di parole e il senso che l’autore voleva dare al discorso attraverso l’uso di queste espressioni. Per questo prima di presentare la mia traduzione spiego al lettore i differenti approcci alla traduzione e quelli scelti da me per tradurre un testo di questo tipo. Prima di tradurre il testo ho ricercato, attraverso l’uso di saggi di linguistica, varie teorie della traduzione alle quali ispirarmi per la mia traduzione. Alla fine ho deciso di fare una traduzione che restasse fedele al senso che l’autore voleva dare, quindi la mia non è stata una traduzione parola-per-parola. Prima di procedere con la traduzione ripercorro in breve la storia del romanzo poliziesco. Per questo tipo di lavoro ho utilizzato diversi saggi che illustrano la storia del genere, le fonti sono state numerose e per questo ho scelto di riportare soprattutto gli elementi comuni ai vari testi storico-critici, ma ho usato come testo di supporto il saggio di Del Monte che ripercorre la storia del genere poliziesco in Europa. Il romanzo "Madame la Mort" di Steeman viene inoltre analizzato sia da un punto di vista linguistico e stilistico che contenutistico. Per questo tipo di analisi ho utilizzato saggi di linguistica e dizionari (cartacei e online) e, per quanto riguarda l’analisi del romanzo in quanto appartenente al genere poliziesco, ho utilizzato il testo di Ilaria Crotti "La “detection” della scrittura: modello poliziesco ed attualizzazioni allotropiche nel romanzo del Novecento" e le venti regole da rispettare per scrivere un buon poliziesco suggerite da Van Dine. Un ultimo capitolo della mia tesi è dedicato alle mie conclusioni, quello che voglio dimostrare è che Steeman è davvero un grande scrittore di polizieschi anche se oscurato da sempre dal suo concittadino e collega Georges Simenon; i due giocano in maniera differente con lo stesso genere adoperando prospettive differenti. Inoltre vorrei portare l’attenzione sul concetto di paraletteratura. Quella della paraletteratura è una categoria ampia nella quale vengono inseriti tutti quei generi ritenuti minori come il romanzo poliziesco, il fumetto, il romanzo fantascientifico, il romanzo rosa… Quello sul quale mi piacerebbe far riflettere il lettore è che non dovrebbe esistere una demarcazione tra letteratura maggiore (grandi Classici) e letteratura minore, ma che esistono libri ben scritti e libri scritti male.

Para tanto, procurou-se levar em conta a iconografia presente nas procissões e em algumas igrejas, a sermonística, especialmente a dedicada às exéquias de autoridades civis e eclesiásticas, o culto às relíquias e a devoção a Nossa Senhora da Boa Morte, que encontrou nos jesuítas sua sistematização com a instituição da Confraria da Boa Morte e sua Escola de bem morrer. Cette étude pretend montrer comment, entre 1640 et 1759, la mort a été utilisée à des fins éducatives dans la ville de Bahia. Nous avons essayé d’examiner ce problème en tenant compte de l’iconographie présente dans les processions religieuses ainsi que dans certaines églises de la ville, des sermons funèbres dédiés à des autorités civiles et ecclésiastiques, du culte des reliques et de la dévotion à Notre-Dame de la Bonne Mort, qui a trouvé sa systématisation dans la Confrérie de la Bonne Mort et son École de bien mourir instituées par les jésuites.

The U.S. Air Force portfolio of airfields currently in place in the European theater is the focus of this research project because the United States has an extensive and long-standing inventory of airfields there. Ultimately, this thesis asks whether significant strategic and political changes necessitate a different approach to U.S. military airport management in Europe. The U.S. Air Force should stay in Europe, but it should convert some of its heavy, main operating bases to more flexible, lighter installations for both economic and strategic reasons.

La mayoría de personas recurren al consumo de cigarrillos en búsqueda de placer y relajo para calmar la ansiedad. Es conocido que estos cigarrillos convencionales contienen aditivos químicos que agravan la salud de las personas. En el siguiente trabajo de investigación, se evaluó la implementación de un cigarrillo sin aditivos químicos hecho de la planta del mapacho, producto que es consumido en la selva peruana, que pueda ofrecer la misma experiencia que tiene una persona al consumir uno que si los tiene. Se presentará el modelo de negocio final del proyecto y las validaciones que se realizaron para cada cuadrante. Se realizaron diferentes experimentos con personas que consumían cigarrillos comerciales para validar si el producto era aceptado. Asimismo, nos dimos cuenta que el sabor menta era solicitado cuando ofrecíamos el producto en los experimentos por lo cual decidimos ofrecer este nuevo sabor. Luego de validaciones y experimentos realizados, se obtuvo un empaque final con dos presentaciones de cigarrillos: tradicional y menta. Las ventas de los productos finales se realizaron mediante la plataforma de Facebook y de manera directa con las personas que ya conocían el producto. Finalmente, a raíz de las ventas y los gastos realizados, se desarrolló los planes y las proyecciones a tres años de los presupuestos de las áreas de operaciones, recursos humanos, marketing, responsabilidad social empresarial y finanzas.<br>Most people recur to the consumption of cigarettes in search of pleasure and relaxation to calm the anxiety. It is known that these conventional cigarettes contain chemical additives that aggravate the health of people. In the following research work, the implementation of a cigarette without chemical additives made of the mapacho plant was evaluated, a product that is consumed in the Peruvian jungle, which can offer the same experience that a person has with a conventional cigarette. The final business model of the project and the validations that were made for each quadrant will be presented. Different experiments were carried out with people who smoke commercial cigarettes to validate if the product was accepted. Also, we realized that the mint flavor was requested when we offered the product in the experiments for which we decided to offer this new flavor. After validations and experiments, a final packaging was obtained with two presentations of cigarettes: traditional and mint. The sales of the final products were made through Facebook and directly with the people who already knew about the product. Finally, as a result of sales and expenses, plans and three-year projections of the budgets of the areas of operations, human resources, marketing, corporate social responsibility and finance were developed.<br>Trabajo de investigación

Though we live in an age of uncertainty, we are constantly surrounded by what is predictable and routine. What happens when the comfort of our understanding is questioned? This body of work developed out of my experimental curiosity and desire to merge the familiar with the unexpected. Incorporating furniture and found objects brings a level of familiarity to the viewer, but manipulating the usual and adding strange elements causes inquiry. All of the components are set up into narrative tableaus and every part is considerably important to the whole. The installation explores humor and fear related to the grotesque and the uncanny, exploring contradictory elements such as: anthropomorphic and foreign, vibrant and static, seductive and repulsive. Each scene reveals no answers but poses only questions, inviting the viewer to fully experience their surroundings and come up with their own conclusions. We often exist between the margins of the known and the unknown but our understanding of this existence is purely individual.

Como abordaremos o grito psicótico que, sofrendo uma perda radical de realidade, repete insistentemente, obsessivamente, que é a própria vida, na sua faísca essencial, que se perdeu? Como será esta perda uma morte, um suicídio involuntário, impessoal, onde é em mim, num morrer eternamente anterior, que a própria morte acaba? Críticos à maneira em que tanto a psiquiatria como a psicanálise abordam estas questões, consideraremos - nos termos de uma análise ao conjunto da vida e obra de Antonin Artaud - como o corpo que ele nomeia sem órgãos é criado não só para as responder como também como ponto de partida para um projecto mais amplo: o de retomar a vida e a morte sobre novas bases. Como resposta ao corpo descorporizado, morto, suicidado, anunciado nestes gritos, investigaremos como Artaud propõe a produção do corpo sem órgãos do interior do corpo que, sofrendo uma morte anterior à morte, não só deixa de „corporizar a realidade‟ mas também, crucialmente, revela um Dentro mais profundo do que qualquer interioridade vivida por um sujeito „equilibrado‟ no seu eixo sensório-motor. Prosseguiremos em seguida à questão da vida: qual a relação entre o corpo sem órgãos e os corpos intensivos, duplos, que Artaud anuncia no seu „Théâtre de la Cruauté‟? A resposta que damos é a seguinte: que os corpos deste teatro nascem do corpo sem órgãos; que nascidos deste corpo, eles são os corpos do lado duplo da própria vida („do outro lado‟); e finalmente, que jamais transcendendo a vida, eles nos forçam a supor um sensível ilimitado que extravasa por todos os lados os ditos limites da experiência humana. É, portanto, a seguinte tríade de corpos que somos levados por Artaud a definir e em torno do qual giram os movimentos conceptuais propostos neste ensaio: corpo suicidado - corpo sem órgãos - corpo intensivo. É ao considerarmos uma análise mais filosófica (e clínica) desta tríade, que as três ou quatro páginas do Anti-Édipo onde Deleuze-Guattari introduzem a tarefa de „esquizofrenizar a morte‟ se apresentam como centrais. A nossa intenção é dupla: primeiro, clarificar o que eles definem como uma „experiência de morte no inconsciente‟; segundo, conceber esta experiência, a conversão ou mutação do corpo suicidado num corpo sem órgãos, como um acontecimento - acontecimento este que, para distingui-lo do que Deleuze propõe em Diferença e Repetição e Lógica do Sentido, definiremos como esquizofrénico: o Acontecimento esquizo. É ao expandirmos a concepção deste Acontecimento segundo o que definiremos como um espinosismo esquizo, que chegaremos - enquadrando certas passagens do O que é a Filosofia? de Deleuze-Guattari no conjunto do pensamento de Henri Bergson - ao conceito proposto na conclusão: o que, afirmando corpos que nascem no „outro lado da existência‟ e não „deste‟, anuncia um cérebro-espírito na imanência do qual todos eles sobrevivem enquanto „por vir‟ eterno da própria vida.

Um olhar crítico para a História das Civilizações, não nos deixa qualquer dúvida, sempre existiu uma forte ligação entre a arquitetura e a morte. Nos dias de hoje, o cemitério representa um local com uma carga negativa e a celebração do funeral deixou de ser o que era em tempos, passando para um plano de fundo. No que diz respeito à cultura ocidental, nas últimas décadas, a prática da cremação tem vindo a consolidar-se como uma nova e mais expressiva tipologia da celebração da morte. De uma proibição total por razões religiosas, até à sua aceitação, a cremação, parece-me ser, provavelmente a prática mais comum nos próximos anos, também dentro dos grupos cristãos. Os cemitérios são vistos como locais distantes e longe da vida quotidiana. Devido à falta de articulação arquitetónica do crematório com o cemitério e com a cidade, nota-se que não existe contacto com o morto e esta forma não tem, consequentemente, favorecido, aos vivos, a consciência sobre a morte. Existe uma oportunidade no desenvolvimento da arquitetura funerária, especialmente nos crematórios, que estão associados maioritariamente a edifícios pragmáticos, com pouca espiritualidade e relativamente banais. O objetivo deste trabalho é, justamente, repensar a tipologia do cemitério com crematório, permitindo recuperar a qualidade espiritual e reintroduzir a cerimónia como um aspeto essencial. Este projecto pretende transformar a ideia de cemitério sombrio numa experiência natural, simples e profunda, através de uma série de elementos naturais que exploram a Luz e a Sombra. A intenção é procurar uma resposta arquitectónica que dignifique as homenagens diárias prestadas nestes espaços. É uma busca pela aceitação da mortalidade e o ciclo da vida natural da vida e da morte. Por isso a proposta procura um espaço onde as pessoas possam sentir a presença espiritual<br>ABSTRACT: In the following dissertation, a reflection is proposed on how the present society deals with death. A critical look at the History of Civilizations, leaves us no doubt, there has always been a strong connection between architecture and death. Nowadays, the cemetery represents a place with a negative charge and the celebration of the funeral ceased to be what it used to be. As far as western culture is concerned, in the last decades, the practice of cremation has become consolidated as a new and more expressive typology of the celebration of death. From a total prohibition, for religious reasons, until its acceptance, cremation, seems to be, probably the most common practice in the next years, also within the Christian groups. The cemeteries are seen as far away from everyday life. Due to the lack of architectural articulation of the crematorium with the cemetery and the city, it is noted that there is no contact with the dead and this form has not, consequently, favored the living consciousness of death. There is an opportunity in the development of funerary architecture, especially in crematoria, which are mostly associated with pragmatic buildings, with little spirituality and relatively banal. The purpose of this work is precisely to rethink the typology of the cemetery with crematorium, allowing to recover the spiritual quality and reintroduce the ceremony as an essential aspect. This project aims to transform the idea of a dark cemetery into a natural experience, simple and profound, through a series of natural elements that explore Light and Shadow. The intention is to look for an architectural response that dignifies the daily honors given in these spaces. It is a search for acceptance of mortality and the natural life cycle of life and death. Seja por meio do retorno à terra – a inumação –, do esfacelamento em cinzas – a cremação –, do embalsamento ou do confiamento ao oceano, o indivíduo vivo tem sempre se preocupado com seus mortos, conformando atitudes que podem desvelar não só preocupação, mas também medo, fuga e horror à morte. Nesta pesquisa tentar-se-á compreender – a partir do método fenomenológico husserliano – a essência do ser humano por meio de sua lacuna mais remota, investigando os sentidos que tem atribuído à própria finitude e como isto se materializa nos espaços físicos, que são aqui chamados “espaços da morte”.<br>In an effort to understand, decipher its wholeness and even “scientificate” death, human race have been using myths and representations that sometimes materialize into a final place: the sepulture. Whether it be through the return to earth – inhumation –, the consumption by fire – cremation –, the embalmment or the entrustment to the ocean, the ones alive have always been concerned with their dead, displaying not only care but also fear, evasion and horror of death. Based on a Husserlian phenomenology method, this research has sought to address the human essence embodied in its most isolated gap, along with exploring the meanings human beings have attributed to its own ending and how these manifest in physical spaces, referred here as “spaces of death”.

Utifrån Judith Butlers teori om genus och queer performances ses bilder och text som exempel på hur en kvinnlighet formeras i tidningen Charme. En tidning som bara existerar mellan åren 1921-1933 och säger sig rikta sig till den moderna kvinnan. Hur kan denna moderna kvinna ha sett ut och på vilka sätt skiljer hon ut sig från andra typer av kvinnligheter? Exempel på kvinnlighets-skapande faktorer ges från dels arbete men även från nöjesliv och nationalitet.

Este estudo investiga a personificação da morte como um dos grandes elementos de ruptura entre a literatura portuguesa tradicional e a contemporânea e como subsídio para reflexão acerca da realidade pós-moderna portuguesa. Diante de uma tradição estagnada em torno do lirismo, surgem produções artísticas que buscaram matéria literária no imaginário europeu para desenvolver uma literatura de cunho crítico. A importância do imaginário da morte medieval como referência cultural é comprovada através da gama de iconografias e de textos escritos encontrados ao longo dos tempos, inclusive na contemporaneidade e na preservação de festas populares ainda no século 21. Seguindo essa tendência, a personificação da morte é o elemento central desenvolvido no romance de José Saramago As intermitências da morte, e de Augusto Abelaira O triunfo da morte, literatura pós-74, como via para renovação literária e exercício crítico da sociedade. Também é através da figura da morte que são desenvolvidos três conceitos pós-modernos: ruptura entre ficção e realidade, paródia e ironia. Essas abordagens são trabalhadas a partir da teoria de Käte Hamburger e Linda Hutcheon, entre outros, em função da possibilidade de unir o tema da morte e a teoria pós-moderna no percurso teórico específico definido neste estudo.<br>This study investigates the death personification as one of the great elements of rupture between the Portuguese Traditional Literature and the Contemporary Literature as a subsidy for reflection on the Portuguese post-modern reality. Facing a stagnant tradition around the lyric, artistic productions appear which searched literary subject from the European imaginary to develop a literature on a critical way. The importance of the imaginary of medieval death as a cultural reference is proved through a great deal of iconographies and from written texts found along the ages also in the contemporaneity and in the preservation of popular parties and feasts still in the 21st century. Following this tendency, the death personification is the central element developed in the novel by José Saramago As intermitências da morte, and by Augusto Abelaira O Triunfo da morte, literature post-74, seen as a way to literature renovation as well as a critical society exercise. It is also through the death figure that three post-modern concepts are developed: rupture between fiction and reality, parody and irony. These approaches are worked and developed from the theory by Käte Hamburger and Linda Hutcheon, among others, because of the possibility of uniting the death theme and the post-modern theory on the theory specific course defined in this study.

Considerado pela crítica um dos nomes mais importantes e complexos de nossa literatura, é um ícone para a modernidade de nossas letras. Portanto, discutir a obra desse autor torna-se, em primeiro lugar, um desafio, tomando como ponto de partida, principalmente, a rica fortuna crítica que se debruça sobre seu texto. Para tanto, elegemos o primeiro romance da segunda fase de produção de Machado como o referencial de análise de um dos temas mais instigantes da história da humanidade e um de seus maiores enigmas: a morte. O romance machadiano que, segundo a crítica, inaugura sua segunda fase de produção, Memórias póstumas de Brás Cubas, apresenta a morte como um lugar a partir do qual se produz um discurso muito diferente do que fora elaborado por Machado até então. Vale, dessa forma, lançar um olhar a mais nesse componente narrativo não somente nessa obra, mas em cada romance machadiano escrito após 1881.<br>Machado de Assis is definitely one of the most well known Brazilian writers in the Literature scenario. He is considered by the critics one of the most important and complex names in our Literature. Machado is, above all, an icon to the modernity of our Portuguese language. Therefore, to discuss about his masterpiece is surely a big challenge, considering that there is a wealth criticism in which lays his texts. Having this in mind, we selected his first novel from the second productive period as the reference for analyzing one of the most intriguing themes from human kind history and one of the biggest mysterious: the death. The Machado’s novel according to the critics, opens his second production period. Memórias póstumas de Brás Cubas shows the death as a place starting since the beginning, to produce a different discourse that had been elaborated by Machado so far. This way, we are able to recognize all the narrative components not only in this work, but also in each novel that Machado has written after 1881.

Introdução: As intoxicações agudas permanecem um problema sério a nível global e são, ainda, uma das causas mais importantes de morbilidade e mortalidade do mundo (1), acarretando um enorme consumo de recursos (2). Neste sentido, as consequências adversas que resultam da poluição ambiental, das intoxicações por drogas, das exposições ocupacionais, dos produtos domésticos, dos químicos, do abuso de substâncias, das overdoses intencionais ou do uso indevido de produtos, bem como outros tipos de exposição (2), permitem considerar a prevenção da intoxicação aguda como uma das grandes prioridades no âmbito da saúde pública. Objetivo: Refletir sobre a incidência das intoxicações e das mortes delas decorrentes na região da Cova da Beira e, a partir dessa análise, permitir também o conhecimento por parte das estruturas de saúde, de quais as situações graves de intoxicação com que mais frequentemente se poderão confrontar. Material e métodos: O estudo é de carácter descritivo e retrospetivo e pretende estudar, recolhendo os dados através dos respectivos processos, os casos de mortes por intoxicação ocorridos na região da Cova da Beira e autopsiados no Gabinete Médico-Legal da Covilhã, desde o ano da sua abertura, 2001, até ao final de 2012. Das 485 autópsias realizadas no período de tempo e Gabinete descritos, apenas 19 casos de morte por intoxicação foram encontrados. Resultados: Os tóxicos que mais mortes por intoxicação provocaram foram os pesticidas e, dentro destes, os organofosforados. O monóxido de carbono foi a segunda causa mais prevalente neste tipo de mortes. O género masculino foi o mais afetado numa proporção de 12 para 7. As idades no estudo são compreendidas entre os 13 e os 82 anos e a faixa etária na qual ocorreram mais mortes foi aquela entre os 40 e os 49 anos. A maioria das vítimas era solteira e tinha intenção suicida, sendo que apenas 5 casos foram de provável etiologia acidental, sem que existisse, baseado nas informações circunstanciais, uma única morte considerada de etiologia homicida. A época mais prevalente foi a Primavera e Verão. Conclusões: Embora o número de mortes por intoxicação nesta região seja pouco significativa em relação ao número total de fatalidades, o ideal era que não existisse nenhuma. Assim, com este objetivo em mente, há que implementar ou reforçar medidas de prevenção deste tipo de mortes pelo que se torna imperativo a realização de estudos semelhantes em outras regiões do país. Este tipo de estudos contribuirá eventualmente para identificar e planear as melhores medidas de atuação face a este problema, tendo em conta, as tendências das mortes por intoxicação a nível nacional.<br>Introduction: Acute intoxications remain a serious problem at a global level and still are one of the most important causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide (1), leading to an enormous amount of resources consumption (2). Therefore, the adverse consequences which result from environmental pollution, drug intoxication, occupational exposures, domestic products, chemicals, substance abuse, intentional overdose or product misuse, as well as other types of exposure (2), allow us to consider the prevention of intoxication as one of the biggest priorities on the scope of public health. Objective: Reflect over intoxications’ incidence and the subsequential deaths in the region of Cova da Beira and, based on that analysis, let the health structures know which major intoxication situation they may encounter. Materials and methods: A study was developed of descriptive and retrospective character and pretends to study, by collecting the data through victims’ files, the intoxication death cases that occurred in the region of Cova da Beira and that were autopsied in Gabinete MedicoLegal da Covilhã, since the year of its opening, in 2001, until 2012. From the 485 autopsies done in the above described period of time and place, only 19 cases of death by intoxication were found. Results: The toxics that have caused more deaths by intoxication were the pesticides and, among these, the organophosphates. Carbon monoxide was the second most prevalent cause of this type of deaths. Male gender was the most affected in a 12 to 7 proportion. The study includes individuals aged between 13 to 82 years old and the age group in which more deaths occurred is among 40 to 49 –year-olds. Most of the victims were single and showed suicide intentions, and only five cases were apparently accidental. The evidence is, in most cases, circumstantial and cannot lead to the conclusion of a single death of homicidal etiology. The majority of deaths happened mostly in spring or summer time. Conclusions: Although the number of deaths by intoxication in this region is not significant the ideal situation is that there hadn’t even any. Therefore, there is the need to implement or reinforce preventive measures for this kind of deaths. In order to do so, the development of similar studies in other regions of the country is imperative. These studies will eventually contribute to identify and plan the best proceeding measures in order to face this problem according to the death tendencies by intoxication at a national level.

A travers des mises en scène de fruits et légumes, je questionne les relations intimes entre la vie et la mort. Nos sociétés occidentales ont évolué vers l'idée folle que la mort est à bannir; considérée comme inutile et haïssable, il nous est suggéré de l' oublier. Entre gravité et sensualité, entre ironie et poésie, c' est d'un souci de réhabiliter cette mort dans notre quotidien qu'il est question, concrétisé par l'observation aigüe de l'habituel, ou le moulage et la photographie se posent comme médiums privilégiés. Natures mortes et vanités, envisagées comme équivalentes et comme de fabuleux répertoires de formes, possèdent la facu1te de bouleverser l' ordre des choses, de déranger la routine et de nous ranimer. Les légendes ironiques des oeuvres esquissent des histoires et ouvrent de nouveaux horizons à l'imaginaire du spectateur. Cette thèse souhaite porter un regard renouvelé sur le quotidien, sublimer la mort depuis la vie et dire l'importance d'exister.

Leiris appréhende la poésie en fonction de la pensée obsédante de la mort, faisant de cette dernière le principal moteur de l'activité créatrice. Il voit dans sa tentative de définition de la poésie bien plus que dans sa propre création une façon de combattre cette obsession. La pensée de la mort entraîne donc une redéfinition de la poésie. L'ensemble de l'oeuvre peut alors être lue comme un métadiscours tendant à résoudre cette unique question : qu'est-ce que la poésie ? Cette quête conduit finalement l'auteur à considérer la poésie comme un "art sacré". A l'instar de toutes les religions, la poésie repose sur la négation de la mort. Si elle peut dans ce sens être qualifiée de religieuse, elle ne prend pas en compte toutefois l'existence de Dieu. Elle est "sacrée" dans le sens que lui donne Leiris ; par son exercice, l'homme peut parvenir à son salut : non pas vaincre, mais oublier la mort. Ainsi, chez Leiris, c'est l'obscurité de la mort qui vient éclairer la poésie<br>In all his work, Michel Leiris apprehends poetry according to the obsessing thought of death, making this latter the driving force behind creative activity. It is in the attempt to define poetry much more than in the mere creation of it that Leiris sees a way of fighting this obsession. The thought of death thus involves a redefinition of poetry. The whole work of Leiris can be read as a metadiscourse treating of the poetic tool and tending to answer this single question : what is really poetry ? This search finally leads the author to consider poetry as a "sacred art". Like all forms of religions, poetry rests on the negation of death. Considering this, poetry may be described as religious, but this does not take into account the existence of God. Poetry is sacred in the sense given by Leiris ; through its practise, man can reach salvation : not by overcoming but by forgetting sovereign death. Thus, for Leiris, it is the darkness of death which helps clarify poetry

L' imaginaire de la mort en Occident est un outil de réflexion qui nous permet d'appréhender la mort comme "idée". Impensée, la mort n'est pas impensable, elle ne cesse de révéler son contenu, son "objet", dans les images qui perdurent et s'enrichissent sans cesse en fonction de l'évolution culturelle et sociale de la société occidentale. Louis-Vincent Thomas nous montre que la mort est aujourd'hui déniée, rejetée du social. C'est le déni qui rend la mort insignifiante et insignifiable. Avec l'évolution des techniques médicales, on ne meurt plus si facilement de mort, on peut rester enfermé dans des états intermédiaires qui sont pires que la mort. La mort est devenue mauvaise mort, surtout si elle ne tue pas vraiment. C'est pourquoi les revendications portent sur une mort certaine qui n'est plus seulement mais "meurtre de soi". Entre euthanasie et meurtre, le "tuer" se fait don de la mort, on se donne une mort certaine, en anticipant de mourir. Le don est de fait, recherche d'un sens pour signifier un événement, une expérience dont la signification se perd. La nécessité de signifier la mort est une revendication des vivants qui ont besoin pour se savoir en vie, de reconnaitre un autre état, celui de mort, bien distinct de celui du vivant. L'enjeu de la relation entre les morts et les vivants, c'est la mémoire. Les morts ont une fonction sociale, ils perdurent dans la mémoire des vivants, pour enraciner le sens de ce qui a été. Pour que cette survivance soit possible, il faut qu'ils meurent bien, d'une mort qui soit mémorisable. Le don de la mort est là, il montre que les images de la mort ont une fonction, différencier les deux états en les signifiant.

Interviews were conducted in observations and conversations with members the commission while they performed the procedure with a patient. Aims to describe how developed the Brain Death Protocol, from the perspective of the professionals that make the process that results in the document that certifies the death of the individual, even when the body of the patient shows signs of life. Through this, we seek to contribute to studies related to the influence of technological advances in the way we live and die, and contribute to the study of the ethical issues that permeate the medical field and present the problems that pervade the diagnosis of brain death. The work is divided into three chapters: the first one is dedicated to the historical aspects related to brain death. In the second and third, through the speeches of the members of the committee, is described as the protocol is developed and what difficulties that permeate the process. We chose a qualitative methodology for the development of this research, understanding that this method provides a differential in research conducted on the subject. As a result we found that the process of declaring brain death is difficult to perform. The professionals who serve a necessity imposed by capitalism, which them is attributed to give function over again to become productive sick people are under pressure by carrying out activities such as the brain death protocol. In the process that will determine someone's death whose vital functions are kept in operation causes the patient to assume the condition of the living body, whose purpose is its fragmentation, for organ donation. Thus ensuring the possibility of others becomes productive benefits for their organs that were removed.<br>O presente trabalho é resultado de um estudo de caso desenvolvido com uma Comissão Intra-Hospitalar de Doação de Órgãos e Tecidos – CIHDOTT, na cidade de Guarapuava, Paraná, no mês de janeiro de 2016. Foram realizadas entrevistas, observações e conversas com os membros da comissão, enquanto os mesmos realizavam o processo com um paciente. Objetiva descrever como é desenvolvido o Protocolo de Morte Encefálica, a partir da perspectiva dos profissionais que fazem o processo que resulta no documento que atesta a morte do indivíduo, mesmo quando o corpo do paciente apresenta sinais de vida. Através disso, busca-se contribuir com estudos relacionados a influências dos avanços tecnológicos na forma com que vivemos e morremos, além de contribuir para os estudos sobre as questões éticas que permeiam a área médica e apresentar os problemas que permeiam o diagnóstico de morte encefálica. O trabalho é divido em três capítulos: o primeiro deles é dedicado aos aspectos históricos relacionados a morte encefálica. No segundo e terceiro, através das falas dos membros da comissão, é descrito como o protocolo é desenvolvido e quais as dificuldades que permeiam o processo. Optouse por uma metodologia qualitativa para o desenvolvimento dessa pesquisa, compreendendo que esse método oferece um diferencial nas pesquisas realizadas sobre a temática. Como resultado foi possível verificar que o processo de decretar a morte encefálica é de difícil realização. Os profissionais, que atendem uma necessidade imposta pelo capitalismo, onde é atribuída a eles a função de tornar pessoas doentes novamente produtivas, sofrem a pressão pela realização de atividades como a do protocolo de morte encefálica. Nesse processo que vai determinar a morte de alguém cuja funções vitais são mantidas em funcionamento faz com que o paciente assuma a condição de cadáver vivo, cuja a finalidade é a sua fragmentação, para doação de órgãos. Garantindo assim, a possibilidade de outras pessoas se tornarem produtivas beneficiadas pelos seus órgãos que foram retirados.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior<br>O objetivo deste trabalho é trazer à discussão o modo quase hegemônico como o homem na modernidade, lançando mão dos inúmeros avanços tecnológicos conquistados pela ciência, lida com o anúncio da morte, de modo a adiá-la a qualquer preço, sob a máxima de que a vida deve ser prolongada, mesmo à custa de todo e qualquer sofrimento. Heidegger, em sua obra Ser e Tempo, esclarece o modo como o homem na cotidianidade mediana lida com a morte. O homem se movimenta na nossa época, denominada por Heidegger de era da técnica, era esta em que, segundo o filósofo, o mundo é desvelado como fundo de reservas por meio da máxima do controle dos entes e da existência. A morte, tal como compreendida na cotidianidade mediana, passa a ser um fenômeno passível de adiamento, sobre o qual podemos ter controle e que, ao modo impessoal, encontra-se sempre referida à morte do outro. Ao tomar o fenômeno da morte ao modo do impessoal, Heidegger acena que acabamos por obscurecer aquilo que lhe é mais próprio, ou seja, seu caráter irremissível, certo, indeterminado e insuperável. Buscaremos a concepção do autor sobre a morte como indissociável da existência e discutiremos como, na maioria das vezes, o homem movimenta-se no horizonte da técnica em meio à impessoalidade, lidando com a morte de modo impróprio e encobrindo essa possibilidade. Para tanto, iremos apresentar como a lida com a morte, na modernidade, encontra-se mediada pelos saberes especializados, a partir dos quais se procura combater, gerenciar e controlar este fenômeno. Apontaremos alguns dilemas que confrontaram a medicina e a sociedade diante dessa tentativa e buscaremos compreender como estes saberes foram construídos historicamente. Para desvelar outras possibilidades de lida com a morte, buscaremos na Grécia antiga, através da análise de mitos, o modo como o grego do ciclo épico lidava com este fenômeno. Retornando ao homem grego do ciclo épico, mostraremos que as verdades sobre a lida com a morte, que se estabeleceram como absolutas no mundo atual, podem ser colocadas em questão e apontaremos a pertinência de pensarmos a morte para além da lógica de modelos atuais que buscam gerenciar este fenômeno. Recorreremos, finalmente, ao texto Serenidade, de Heidegger, para examinar o pensamento do homem moderno e refletir sobre as suas incessantes investidas na busca pelo controle e pelo gerenciamento da morte. Através do pensamento reflexivo, proposto pelo autor, acreditamos que se desvelam outras possibilidades de lida com a morte, antes obscurecidas por verdades tomadas como absolutas, e, deste modo, torna-se possível conquistar uma relação mais livre com este fenômeno

<p> </p><p>Alla har någon gång i sitt liv fått belöning för något de har gjort bra, det kan vara allt ifrån att få en klapp på axeln till att få bra betyg i skolan och ofta så går prestation och belöning hand i hand. Belöningssystem används överallt i olika former, medvetet eller omedvetet och det kan vara ett sådant system som hjälper företagen framåt och eftersom personalen är en viktig resurs i ett företag så är det viktigt att förtaget även vårdar de anställda. Belöning och motivation hör ihop eftersom personalen blir mer motiverade av att bli belönade på något sätt. I dagens säljorganisationer är det vanligt att belöningssystem förekommer eftersom säljarna inom organisationen måste vara motiverade för att prestera. Vi har använt oss av en hermeneutisk kunskapssyn och ett deduktivt tillvägagångssätt samt beskrivit hur vi har samlat in de sekundärkällor vi valt använda och gett kritik på dessa.</p><p>Den teoretiska referensramen består av olika delavsnitt som behandlar belöningssystem, motivationsteorier, drivkrafter samt ett avsnitt om kritiken som finns mot belöningssystem.</p><p>I den praktiska metoden beskriver vi vilken metod vi använt för att samla in information till kapitel fem, empirikapitlet. Vi har genomfört sex kvalitativa intervjuer på tre olika företag. På varje företag har vi intervjuat en företagsledare samt en säljare. Empirikapitlet har sedan analyserats med hjälp av teorikapitlet.</p><p>Slutsatser vi har kommit fram till är att alla företagsledare anser att det är viktigt att använda sig av något belöningssystem samt att det även är en motivationsfaktor hos de anställda. In reality, the right of degnified dead, part of the right of personality resulting of own life, must be waranted for all human beings in respect of the principle of human dignity; each time, in application in concrete cases it don t intefere with the absolute right of life as observed in the present work<br>O presente trabalho destina-se à abordagem do tema morte digna, como sendo um dos direitos da personalidade, que garante ao ser humano morrer dignamente. A importância da abordagem do tema proposto decorre da inexistência de um consenso sobre a extensão do que seja a morte digna, bem como de seu conceito, existindo, ainda, lacunas legislativas sobre o tema, que acabam por gerar risco de ofensa ao principal direito do ser humano que é a vida. O desenvolvimento do tema se deu por análise de casos concretos; levantamento de entendimentos médico, jurídicos e filosóficos, comparando-se o direito pátrio com o alienígena e embasamento jurisprudencial. Efetiva-se que o direito a morte digna é pertencente aos direitos da personalidade como decorrência da própria vida, devendo ser garantido a todas as pessoas em respeito ao princípio da dignidade humana, sempre que do seu exercício, no caso concreto, não interfira no direito absoluto a vida, observados critérios descritos neste trabalho

A intensidade da luta pela busca da cura de muitas doenças e a sofisticação dos meios associados a essa luta levaram de algum modo a uma cultura de negação da morte e ao triunfalismo heróico sobre a mesma. A morte passou a ser encarada como derrota e frustação por muitos profissionais de saúde.

Para isso, julgou-se necessário observar como essa crença era vivida no período pré-homérico, ressaltando tanto as reminiscências desta como as novidades encontradas nas epopéias homéricas. Além disso, são delineados os rumos tomados pelo tema da morte no período posterior a Homero, ainda na Grécia antiga. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT<br>This work intends to demonstrate, through studies of two different world conceptions – mythic and rational – the characteristics of the Homeric belief around death and related themes, as the soul matter and life post mortem. To do so, it was necessary to observe how this belief worked in pre-Homeric times, by giving special attention to its reminiscences, as well as to the new elements found in Homeric epic poems. In addition, it is shown what paths the theme of death has taken in the post Homeric period, in Ancient Greece yet.

Trata de entender a morte como um acontecimento e este como importante conceito das Filosofias da Diferença, em especial a de Gilles Deleuze. É enquanto acontecimento que a morte passa a agregar o máximo da neutralidade em relação ao já-formado, mas também o máximo da potência capaz de tudo criar, inclusive uma existência passível de superar a forma humana com sua perpétua reprodução do mesmo e da subjugação no presente. Morte como a tarefa desumanizante que está na base da função política da Psicologia. E, assim, trata da morte como mecanismo potencializador de vida e não como sua finalização absoluta e infértil. Morte que povoa uma vida da imanência e dá a ela toda sua virtualidade. Esta dissertação trata do colapso, do simulacro, do tempo aiônico, do querer. Trata do riso.<br>This dissertation deals with the immeasurable, the dehumanizing, the affirmation, the creation, death. It deals with the understanding of death as an event and as an important concept of the Philosophies of Difference, especially the one of Gilles Deleuze. It is while an event that death starts to aggregate a maximum of neutrality in relation to the already-formed, but the maximum of the potency able to create everything, and also an existence capable of overcoming a human form with its perpetuous reproduction of itself and of subjugation in the present. Death as the dehumanizing task is in the basis of political function of Psychology. And, thus, approaches death as a potentiality mechanism of life and not as its absolute and infertile finalization. Death populates a life of immanence, and gives it all its virtuality. This dissertation deals with the collapse, the simulacrum, the aionic time, will. It deals with laughter.

Trabalho final do 6º Ano Médico, com vista à atribuição do grau de Mestre, no âmbito do ciclo de estudos de Mestrado Integrado em Medicina (Medicina Intensiva), apresentado à Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Coimbra.<br>Introdução: Sendo a morte o epílogo da vida, a necessidade de definir o momento da morte, sempre se demonstrou de extrema importância ao longo dos tempos. Foi com a tafofobia, ou o medo de se ser enterrado vivo, que surgiu a necessidade de definir "morte" como a paragem irreversível das funções cardíaca e ventilatória, como se pensava classicamente. O advento, na década de 60, da ressuscitação cardiopulmonar e da manutenção artificial de funções vitais, levou a um longo caminho de investigação para definir e protocolar o diagnóstico de "morte cerebral", como paragem irreversível da actividade do tronco cerebral, nos doentes com funções vitais mantidas artificialmente. Objectivos: Este trabalho propõe-se a rever a evolução do conceito de morte cerebral, os prérequisitos, o exame clínico e os meios complementares de diagnóstico na prática clínica no adulto em Portugal. Por último o trabalho pretende ainda uma abordagem comparativa da perspectiva internacional do tema. Desenvolvimento: Numa altura em que se consegue a viabilidade de tecidos e órgãos para a transplantação de dador cadáver, a existência de um protocolo para o diagnóstico de morte cerebral de fácil execução, com critérios fiáveis, inequívocos e com a especificidade máxima possível, é imprescindível perante o risco de erros e a existência de estados clínicos que mimetizam a "morte cerebral", não obstante da ansiedade e falsas esperanças a que está submetida uma família de um doente mantido indefinidamente sob suporte artificial. Embora as normas clínicas praticadas a nível mundial apresentem algumas diferenças mais técnicas que conceptuais, a morte cerebral é hoje quase universalmente aceite. Conclusões: A morte é um conceito que permanece intemporal. Os critérios de Harvard abriram caminho para os actuais protocolos de diagnóstico que permanecem em constante actualização. Na maioria dos países, o diagnóstico é a priori estabelecido clinicamente, sendo os exames complementares não mandatórios e utilizados apenas para esclarecimento de dúvidas. Embora sejam exigidos dois conjuntos de provas clínicas, permanece actualmente não definido o período de observação mínimo entre as duas provas clínicas exigidas. De entre os meios complementares de diagnóstico, os exames radionucleares e a angiografia de quatro vasos são os testes confirmatórios de detecção de circulação cerebral globalmente mais aceites, com a principal limitação na susceptibilidade a lesões da calote craniana. A cintigrafia cerebral planar e a SPECT com 99mTc-HMPAO são os exames de primeira linha mais utilizados. A angio-TC tem vindo a emergir como exame de alternativa para o diagnóstico embora permaneça alguma controvérsia quanto à inocuidade do contraste iodado sob os tecidos para transplantação. O Doppler Transcraniano embora com muitos inconvenientes poderá ser usado com carácter adicional aos critérios existentes, em caso de dúvidas, pelo seu potencial prognóstico para estabelecer o “timing” do recurso a testes confirmatórios evitando o uso prematuro e desnecessários dos mesmos. Algumas especificidades do exame clínico poderão vir a ser sujeitas a uma revisão especializada envolvendo organizações internacionais, bem como poderá ser submetida a avaliação formal a competência dos examinadores, dada a importância e amplitude transversal do diagnóstico de morte cerebral que vão muito para além da dimensão médica e científica.<br>Introduction: The definition of the moment of death always proved to be extremely important over time. It was because of the taphophobia, fear of being buried alive, that it became necessary to define "death" as an irreversible arrest of cardiac and respiratory functions, as the ancient thought. The advent in the 60s of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and artificial support of vital functions led to a long way to defining and establish the criteria of the diagnosis of "brain death" as irreversible arrest of brainstem activity in patients with vital functions artificially sustained. Objectives: This study aims to review the evolution of the concept of brain death, prerequisites, clinical examination and ancillary tests in adults in the context of the medical practice in Portugal. Finally the work also intends to approach an international comparative perspective on the subject. Development: While nowadays it is possible to achieves tissue an organ viability for transplant from deceased donors, the existence of an easy, reliable, unequivocal and with maximum specificity criteria for brain death diagnosis is essential to avoid the risk of medical errors and while there are medical conditions that mimic "brain death", despite the anxiety and false hopes which families, with patients sustained indefinitely under artificial support, can be subject to. Although there are some differences in clinical practice worldwide rather technical then conceptual, brain death is nowadays almost universal accepted. Conclusions: The concept of death remains timeless. The Harvard criteria opened the way for the current diagnostic methods that remain constantly updated. In most countries, the diagnosis is established primarily by clinical examination, and further tests are not mandatory, and used only in the presence of doubts. Although required two sets of clinical examinations, it remains currently non establish the minimum observation time between these two clinical examinations. Among the available ancillary tests, nowadays radionuclide studies and four-vessel cerebral angiography are tests of cerebral perfusion most broadly accepted, with the main limitation on susceptibility to injury of the cranial vault. Brain planar scintigraphy and 99mTc- HMPAO-SPECT are the first line tests. The CT angiography has emerged as an alternative test for diagnosis but it remains the controversy regarding the safety of iodine contrast in the transplant tissues. Transcranial doppler ultrasonography, despite many limitations can be used as an additional factor for the existing criteria in the presence of doubts, given its potential to establish the prognosis timing for the use of ancillary tests avoiding its premature and unnecessary use. Specific matter of clinical examination can be subject to a review involving international organizations, and the expertise of the examiners may be subject to formal evaluation given the importance of brain death diagnosis that stands far beyond the medical or scientific perspective.

Teço uma análise reflexiva a partir da experiência vivida baseada no processo de morte-renascimento à luz do Cuidado Transdimensional: um paradigma emergente de Alcione Leite da Silva. A partir deste referencial, utilizo conceitos, pressupostos e padrões de significados e de estética do cuidado nele estruturados, bem como pressupostos próprios. A pesquisa qualitativa convergente-assistencial de Trentini & Paim subsidia toda a construção metodológica na efetivação desta experiência. Este estudo foi desenvolvido com duas clientes com câncer e suas famílias, em seus domicílios na grande Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, no período de dezembro de 2001 a janeiro de 2002. Para compor o movimento destas vivências, desenvolvi um processo de cuidado dialógico a partir da história de vida e do processo da morte e do morrer dessas clientes juntamente com suas famílias, na busca da compreensão do princípio de morte-renascimento na dinâmica da vida. Este processo de cuidado acontece durante encontros que denomino de "vivência", com temáticas que direcionam o diálogo com vistas à compreensão desejada. Amplio a análise desta experiência através da reflexão em que o cuidar é o acesso ao outro num movimento científico, dialético, educativo, poético, amoroso e ético na transdimensionalidade do cuidado em família.

O objetivo é investigar como foi ministrado o ensino desta disciplina em uma determinada instituição escolar, bem como os motivos que provocaram sua retirada do currículo. A época delimitada é a década de 1960 até meados dos anos 2000, e o local da pesquisa dá-se no Colégio de Aplicação da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. O trabalho é fundamentado a partir de referenciais teóricos tais como os de André Chervel e Dominique Julia, abordando os conceitos de história das disciplinas escolares e cultura escolar e de Michel de Certeau e Jacques Le Goff, utilizando a idéia do fazer história como uma operação e de pensar o passado como uma representação. As fontes foram constituídas tanto por documentos oficiais como documentos escolares e, também, por fontes orais. Estas últimas foram compostas por 12 entrevistas com os professores que trabalharam com a disciplina de Desenho na escola pesquisada. Verificou-se que é possível identificar vestígios de um ensino de Desenho entre as décadas de 1960 e 2000, levantando, a partir disto, elementos que sustentaram sua permanência na instituição pesquisada, assim como, elementos que desencadearam a retirada da disciplina do currículo escolar. Por fim, cabe dizer que esta dissertação aponta para a possibilidade de se pensar, no presente, novos olhares para a disciplina de Desenho, analisando-se os motivos que levaram sua extinção.<br>The present dissertation deals with the history of Drawing#s discipline, considering the teaching of this discipline. The aim is investigate as was made the teaching of Drawing in an academic institution, as well as the reasons that led to its withdrawal from the curriculum. The period bounded is the Decade of 1960 until mid-2000, and the place of this research is the Application#s School at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. The research is substantiated from theoretical benchmarks such as André Chervel and Dominique Julia, addressing the concepts of history of school subjects and school culture, and also of Michel de Certeau and Jacques Le Goff, using the idea of making history as an operation and thinking about the past as a representation. The sources were composed of both official documents and school records, and also by oral sources. The latter was composed of interviews with 12 teachers who work with the discipline of Drawing in the school researched. It was found that it is possible to identify traces of a drawing education between the decades of 1960 and 2000and also the elements that sustained its stay, as well as elements that triggered the withdrawal of the discipline of the school curriculum in the school researched. Finally, it is said that this dissertation points to the possibility of thinking, in the present, new looks for the Drawing's discipline, questioning the reasons for their extinction.

Este trabalho historiográfico propõe um estudo da cidade de Florianópolis, em Santa Catarina, como texto a ser lido, interpretado e problematizado. Uma cidade antropofágica, que segue inquieta um processo paradoxal de construção/destruição dos suportes materiais de manutenção das suas memórias urbanas,, que é a condição do ato criativo, artístico e mnemônico. Um processo que traz em si a condição do novo, do original, do inusitado, do Ursprung benjaminiano. Para isso, o Bar e Trapiche Miramar surge como mediador. Ele aparece travestido em várias metáforas (de atracadouro, de mirante, de bar, de teatro, de estacionamento; de modelo para os artistas; de lugar para os pensadores, de pescadores, de poetas, de cantores, de políticos, de carnavalescos, de crianças brincalhonas; de abrigo para os desavisados das chuvas e vento sul, para os amores ilícitos e furtivos, para os bêbados boêmios) que se revelam nesse trabalho, ou melhor, surge como uma porta de entrada para o estudo das memórias, das artes, dos sentidos, das ressignificações, dos esquecimentos, dos ressentimentos, dos silêncios que se propagam pelo espaço de uma cidade invisível que habita as subjetividades. Dessa maneira, o trabalho foi dividido em três capítulos: Registro de uma morte anunciada - (A Perda), que opera diretamente com a dinâmica da trilogia destruição/preservação/criação. Versa sobre as potencialidades do monumento Memorial ao Miramar, construído em 2001, como "signo" revelador das arritmias urbanas e da tentativa frustrada de monumentalização da memória do Trapiche como obra representativa da antiga maritimidade. No capítulo seguinte, intitulado Teatro Trapiche: arte da resistência (Na iminência da perda), apresento um dos lugares descobertos entre as ruínas da história: o Teatro Trapiche. O Miramar, depois de abrigar os boêmios, poetas, escritores, jornalistas, por décadas - que o tinham, inclusive, como "lugar de criação" -, na iminência de sua demolição, num ato de resistência, acolheu ainda, em 1972, o primeiro Teatro de Arena do Estado de Santa Catarina. No terceiro capítulo, Artes e Rascunhos da memória (A Produtividade da Perda), o Miramar é ainda lugar e objeto de produção artística. As obras de três artistas plásticos, contemporâneos e freqüentadores do Miramar: Domingos Fossari, Tércio da Gama e José Cipriano, são tomadas como narrativas pictóricas. Por meio deles, de suas técnicas e memórias, surgem "Miramares" matizados e anacrônicos.

Este trabalho visa compreender através das narrativas das próprias pessoas Mapuche Pewenche qual é a significação atribuída a essas mortes. A dinâmica do trabalho de campo ao longo de cinco meses permitiu, sobretudo, conviver com pessoas Pewenche que tinham familiares mortos nos últimos dez anos por ?suicídio?. De suas narrativas emerge um mundo polissêmico, onde não cabe uma concepção monolítica dos ?suicídios?, que para surpresa da pesquisadora resultam num tema que se abre na memória, fluindo sem subterfúgios, emergindo múltiplo e tendo como pano de fundo a concepção da morte. A morte é o tema de entrada e saída, para compreender as mortes pela própria mão acontecidas nas comunidades. Enquanto uma viagem para kamapu (outra terra), a morte é nosso destino nessa terra e é abordada com a naturalidade da vida. Assim o campo mostrou que, seja qual for sua causa, a morte não é um tema tabu para os Pewenche. Também, demonstrou que os ?suicídios? não podem ser atribuídos exclusivamente a uma causa individual. A partir dos relatos enquanto narrativas emerge um mundo de sentidos, relatos hiper-realistas aparecem como um contraste frente à resistência geral de falar desse tema na chamada ?cultura ocidental?. Nos relatos, em seu sentido performativo, emerge um sentido novo, que organiza a experiência e permite dar uma compreensão inserida na cosmovisão dos Pewenche.Porém, as mortes acontecidas nos últimos anos reorientaram o sentido da vida de pelo menos uma parte já fragmentada dos Pewenche do Alto Bío Bío, especialmente nas comunidades que foram afetadas diretamente pelas represas construídas nos últimos anos. As machi ou xamãs, por sua vez, fizeram com que os Pewenche se olhassem e atendessem à voz dos espíritos que falam sobre as forças negativas que estão ganhando espaço e que provocam a desarticulação comunitária. As mortes são vistas como uma expressão do desequilíbrio, mas também por tratar-se de mortes inesperadas, segundo os xamãs. Elas falam de uma necessidade de reconstruir o território no sentido cosmo-político, ou seja, abrem um espaço para se pensar como um povo imerso em um contexto de globalização, com suas diferenças, num sentido político amplo, territorial, espiritual, ritual e social.A partir da concepção da morte dos Pewenche, a pesquisa de campo permite refletir e questionar a dimensão da morte na complexidade de olhares da(s) antropologia(s). O campo é um mergulho exploratório que abre um horizonte de trabalho rico e que ainda não foi suficientemente abordado pela antropologia. Só existem aproximações do campo da biomedicina, sob o risco de reduzir o fenômeno ao domínio do individual e o psíquico. <br><br>Abstract: An alarming increase in death by their own hand, or ?suicides?, within the communities Mapuche Pewenche of the Alto Bío Bío has occurred in the last ten years. Through an analysis and understanding of the Mapuche Pewenche people?s own narratives and accounts, this investigation?s objective is to understand the significance that these indigenous cultures attribute to such deaths.Over the course of five months of field work, this investigation focused on the stories and experiences of Pewenche individuals who have lost relatives to ?suicide? in the last ten years. From their narratives, a polysemic world emerges that precludes a monolithic or singular conception of the suicides. To this investigator?s surprise, a theme of fluid memory, without subterfuges, emerges with a foundation in a conception of death. Death, as an entry and an exit, is the conception that allows these communities to understand the death by own hand. As much as a trip to the kamapu (other land), death is our destiny in this world and it is treated as naturally as life itself.Thus, field work demonstrated that, regardless of the cause, death is not taboo for the Pewenche of the Alto Bío Bío. The research further demonstrated that ?suicides? cannot be attributed, either solely or principally, to individual causes. From accounts that are as much stories as factual descriptions, there emerges a world of feelings and hyper realistic accounts that contrast with Western culture?s resistence to speak of the subject. Through such accounts, always shared performatively, a new meaning emerges, one that organizes the experience and provides it a significance that fits within the world view of the Pewenche people.The suicides of recent years re-oriented the meaning of life, or at least, a part of life already fragmented for the Pewenche in the Alto Bío Bío, especially for communities directly affected by dams. The Pewenche sought help from shamans or machi, who in turn encouraged the Pewenche to reflect on their own transformation and to heed the voices of the spirits that speak of negative forces. If ignored, these negative forces of the Earth would continue to gather strength and provoke communal dislocation, an imbalance reflected in suicides. In addition, as unexpected deaths, and as interpreted by the shamans, these deaths speak of the need to reconstruct the land in a cosmic-political way. Or, in other words, suicides open an intellectual space to consider how people of different political, territorial, spiritual and social characteristics chafe against being immersed in globalization.From the Pewenche?s conception of death, field work allows one to reflect on and question the dimension of death from different anthropologic perspectives. This field work is only an exploratory venture that reveals a rich horizon of investigation that has yet to be defined by anthropology, at least in Chile, where only rough appraisals exist in the field of biomedical sciences, which risks reducing the phenomenon to the psychic dominion of the individual.

A pequena oficina, fundada por Mathias e seu pai, estabeleceu-se com a fabricação de túmulos e a arte dos marmoristas, com destaque para o próprio Mathias que esculpiu na pedra, túmulos e ornamentos funerários. A administração da empresa, sempre a cargo de membros da Haas, depois de algumas décadas de dedicação à arquitetura funerária e também civil, concentrou seus esforços na gerência de uma agência funerária. Com a funerária, a empresa ofereceu aos seus clientes uma série de serviços voltados ao cuidado do corpo e por último, entrou no segmento de vendas de planos funerários. Desde a sua fundação, a empresa enfrentou mudanças e teve que administrar momentos de transição e de adequação de seus produtos e investimentos para conciliar mudanças nos ritos e a entrada de novidades no mercado funerário. A trajetória da família Haas possibilitou as reflexões desta tese que buscou pensar sobre as atitudes fúnebres e a morte, em diferentes momentos, por meio de sua empresa. Contando com um acervo documental formado por imagens, escritos pessoais, partes de construções tumulares, blogs, notas fiscais, documentos administrativos, catálogos de modelos tumulares e depoimentos, foram percebidas mudanças no tratamento do corpo morto e no seu destino final. <br>

O objetivo do estudo foi caracterizar o conhecimento socialmente compartilhado sobre a morte por profissionais de uma equipe de Cuidados Paliativos, considerando a relação com a prática de sujeitos que lidam constantemente com o processo de morrer. Participaram da investigação 20 profissionais de uma equipe multidisciplinar de Cuidados Paliativos que trabalhavam há pelo menos 6 meses na equipe e que se disponibilizaram para colaborar com a pesquisa. A coleta de dados foi realizada através da utilização da entrevista individual em profundidade e um questionário sobre aspectos práticos dos cuidados paliativos. A análise dos dados empregou a análise de conteúdo do tipo categorial, com o suporte do software Atlas.ti, além de análise textual por meio do software IRAMUTEQ. Os resultados demonstraram que os participantes compreendem a morte como parte do processo de vida, mas que gera perdas. Os profissionais demonstram que trabalhar promovendo qualidade de vida ao processo de morrer é de fundamental importância e traz dignidade e conforto a essa etapa de vida, minimizando sofrimentos aos pacientes e seus familiares. Encontraram-se evidências que a representação social de morte está em transformação, pois as trocas e compartilhamentos de experiências, pautados na filosofia paliativista, com as pessoas da equipe multidisciplinar fazem com que os profissionais questionem sua forma de encarar a morte, que majoritariamente era tida como assunto tabu e causador de angústias. Assim, compreende-se que a representação social de morte para os profissionais da equipe investigada se ancora nas interpretações da realidade profissional fazendo leituras do contexto onde compartilham experiências com os colegas de equipe, pacientes e familiares. Não se encontrou representação de cuidado paliativo, pois seu significado está muito atrelado ao seu conhecimento reificado. Todavia, ao considerarem-se os aspectos práticos dos cuidados paliativos realizados na unidade pesquisada, observou-se que a prática profissional vivenciada pela equipe está de acordo com os preceitos de cuidado humanizado e promove qualidade de vida às pessoas com enfermidades fora de possibilidade de cura. Portanto, faz-se necessária a inclusão do tema da morte nos currículos dos cursos de formação e que as instituições de saúde facilitem a educação permanente como forma promotora de mudanças de atitudes e comportamentos dos profissionais junto aos seus pacientes que estão em processo de morrer. Reafirma-se assim a importância de estudos sobre as temáticas apresentadas, pois se observou que são poucas as pesquisas realizadas sobre a morte no contexto dos cuidados paliativos, estudá-las se torna cada vez mais importante para melhorar e ampliar o desenvolvimento de políticas públicas de saúde em prol da implementação da filosofia paliativista e para aumentar a qualidade de vida e bem-estar durante o processo do morrer. <br><br>Abstract : The study aim was to comprehend the social representations of death and the understanding of this knowledge built in professional practice experienced by a multidisciplinary team of palliative care. Participated in the research 20 professionals of a multidisciplinary team of Palliative Care who worked there for at least 6 months in the team and who agreed to participate in the study. The data collection was conducted through the use of individual in-depth interviews and by a questionnaire on the practical aspects of palliative care. The data were analysed using the content analysis of categorical type, with the support of the software Atlas.ti, plus textual analysis through IRAMUTEQ software. The results of the social representation of death for the multidisciplinary team of palliative care showed that the participants understand death as part of the life process, but which generates losses. The Palliative Care professionals show that working to promote quality of life at the dying process is very important and brings dignity and comfort at this stage of life, minimizing suffering for patients and their relatives. Evidences were found that the social representation of death is under transformation, because the exchanging and sharing of experiences with the members of the multidisciplinary team, guided by the palliative philosophy, make the professionals to question themselves about their way of facing death, which was mostly taken as a taboo subject and an anguish causing one. Thus, it is understood that the social representation of death for the investigated team members is anchored in the interpretations of the practice reality doing context readings where they share experiences with fellow team members, patients and relatives. Representation of palliative care was not found, because its meaning is very tied to their reified knowledge. However, when considering the practical aspects of palliative care performed in the research unit, it is clear that the professional practice experienced by the team complies with the humanized care precepts and promotes quality of life to the people with diseases with no chance of cure. Death is a taboo to be dismantled by all professional categories, since it is a stage of life. Therefore, it is necessary to include the subject of death into the curriculum of undergrad courses and that the health institutions facilitate continued education in order to promotechanges in attitudes and behaviors of professionals when dealing with their patients who are in the process of dying. The importance of studies about death and palliative care is reaffirmed, as it was observed that there is little research on these issues. New studies become increasingly more important to improve and expand the development of public health policies for the implementation of the palliative philosophy and to increase the quality of life and well-being during the process of dying.

Nel primo capitolo intitolato ARCHITETTURA E DETTAGLIO NELLA CONTEMPORANEITA' si mette a fuoco il corpus teorico che sottende tutta la tesi: 1. Mutazione estetica: in questa sezione viene descritto l' ambito di applicazione della ricerca, in generale, il mutato statuto dell'architettura oggi che, subendo quella che viene definita ''mutazione estetica'', ha cambiato la sua natura di oggetto tettonico portatore di regole ''disciplinari'' codificate nel tempo e di verita' costruttive assolute in oggetto performativo cioe' un' architettura come dispositivo che produce fenomeni, come involucro di un' azione, come filtro che renda visibile il fluire delle ''forze invisibili'' della societa' e che evidenzi le azioni umane. 2. Mutazione genetica: in questa sezione vengono descritte le cause che hanno portato l' architettura a mutare il suo precedente stato: cause di ordine percettivo, la mutazione di velocita', distanza, scala di percezione; cause di ordine sociologico, la comunicazione e il conseguente passaggio di stato dall' oggetto tridimensionale all' oggetto bidimensionale (l' immagine), l' involucro architettonico; cause di ordine tecnologico, la comparsa di luce artificiale (vedi elettricita') e aria condizionata(vedi impianti), nuovi materiali sensibili, sostenibilita' termica degli edifici, nuovi sistemi di fissaggio di componenti e materiali edilizi come i sigillanti ed altro. 3. La sindrome bipolare del dettaglio: in questa sezione vengono descritti i risvolti della ''mutazione sia estetica che genetica'' sul ruolo del dettaglio nella costruzione della materialita' dell' architettura oggi, giungendo alla distinzione tra dettaglio che nasconde e dettaglio che rivela: sostanzialmente dettaglio che rivela un processo costruttivo o di lavoro o decorativo prettamente e univocamente caratteristico della modernita' ''solida'' e dettaglio che maschera o dissimula il processo costruttivo e che assicura la natura performativa di questa nuova architettura contemporanea mutata geneticamente e esteticamente. Nel secondo capitolo intitolato PROGETTO: Architettura _ Costruzione _ Percezione _Dettaglio, il lavoro progettuale di cinque guru dell'architettura contemporanea viene scandagliato accuratamente nelle quattro categorie principali, in considerazione del fatto che con il loro lavoro, e in alcuni casi anche con l' attivita'  teorica, influenzano costantemente oggi il fare progettuale di numerosi architetti. Con questa analisi si e' inteso chiarire fino in fondo i diversi approcci progettuali come matrice della teoria architettonica contemporanea quali possono essere la riduzione e l' uso dei diagrammi in Saana, il collage in Koolhaas, il nuovo ornamento in H. and de M., l' autosimilarita' e il concetto della serie in Ito, la sostenibilita' e la ricerca tecnologica in Foster; di conseguenza si e' evidenzata l' influenza di questi ultimi sulla risoluzione del dettaglio e il suo mutato ruolo: dettaglio invisibile (riduzione del linguaggio o approccio minimale), dettaglio cucitura (accumulazione di frammenti), dettaglio cosmetico (comunicazione di effetti estetici), dettaglio seriale (autosimilarita' dei processi naturali e artificiali), dettaglio chip (design di componenti altamente tecnologici). Nel terzo capitolo intitolato FIGURATIVITA': ri_definire il dettaglio si tenta di trovare una nuova dimensione o meglio una nuova definizione o statuto a questo nuovo dettaglio ''geneticamente modificato'' avvalendosi dell' analisi di circa venti casi studio, raggruppati in 4 macro categorie Forma, Struttura, Schermo, Superficie, scelti tra i pia'¹ significativi e corrispondenti ai criteri di scelta dal bagaglio della produzione architettonica dei cinque architetti analizzati precedentemente. Constatato, quindi, che l' architettura da oggetto tridimensionale tettonico ha mutato il suo statuto in oggetto bidimensionale fatto di sola pelle (l' involucro), qui viene sottolineato come anche il dettaglio da espressione dell' articolazione strutturale di un corpo architettonico (dettaglio che rivela) si sia mutato in un ''effetto estetico'' (dettaglio che nasconde) e come un nuovo ''ornamento'' assicura la dimensione performativa dell' architettura contemporanea.

La tesi si prefigge lo studio delle discrasie presenti nelle fonti antiche riguardo la morte di Pompeo; particolare attenzione è prestata al testo lucaneo, dove si rilevano delle similitudini con il funerale di Cesare.

Con la prima età moderna la pena di morte si impone a livello esteriore come un vero e proprio spettacolo. La cerimonia appare e si configura come un vero e proprio rito sacrificale con diversi significati e funzioni. La pena capitale in età moderna sembra essere una forma di sacrificio umano tollerabile e anzi esaltata.

Este texto do escritor, roteirista e intelectual quebequense foi publicado postumamente em 1991. O suicídio, assunto recorrente em seus romances, é tema central desta narrativa. Estudaremos a forma com que Aquin aborda questões ligadas diretamente a sua geração literária, inserida no contexto político-cultural da Revolução Tranquila, como o mal-estar diante da nacionalidade canadense-francesa, o erotismo, a libertação sexual e religiosa. Buscaremos expor como Aquin parece prever movimentos estéticos que lhe são posteriores, em especial, aqueles suscitados pela problematização em torno das escritas de si. Ce texte de l’écrivain, scénariste et intellectuel québécois a été publié à titre posthume en 1991. Le suicide, sujet récurrent dans ses romans, est le thème central de ce récit. On étudiera la façon avec laquelle Aquin approche les questions liées directement à sa génération littéraire, insérée dans le contexte politique et culturel de la Révolution Tranquille, comme le malaise devant la nationalité canadienne-française, l’érotisme, la libération sexuelle et religieuse.
