Institutions of civil society play an important role in the process of re-socialization of convicts and their social adaptation. In the process of joint activities of penitentiary system (hereinafter referred to as the PS) with representatives of the public, there are being addressed issues of social adaptation of persons after release from prison, assistance to convicts in the restoration, maintenance and development of socially useful ties, preparation for release, labor and household arrangements, medical and social security, as well as the organization of leisure, education for convicts, their moral, legal and cultural education and development. At the same time, the fulfillment of these post-penitentiary tasks satisfies a number of needs of modern state, in particular, in the urban planning industry. This study examines the experience of interaction between the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and the Volnoe Delo Social Innovation Fund in the field of employment of convicts, incl. at construction sites. Based on the analysis of implementation of the program for social support of persons in difficult life situations, a conclusion is made about the need to individualize educational work and targeted assistance to convicts; stimulation to change motivational attitudes and moral values; wide demand for the labor of convicts in the urban planning industry.

Abstract:
Is moral judgement a mere product of Darwinian evolution, similar to sexual behaviour and social exchanges, or is it a specific human privilege, as is the case for complex languages and mathematics? The answer is that it is both. Moral behaviour is the consequence of social practices useful to the group that mankind inherited from animal ancestors and which human culture has transformed into a discursive, and genuinely human, philosophical construct. These two sides of moral judgement affect the way we feel about our own existence as animals and the way we treat animals.

Abstract:
Factors that influence adolescent development are internal and external. The environment in question is the social environment of peers from outside or friends in the association from within. The main factor that determines the attractiveness of interpersonal relationships among adolescents in general is the similarity in interests, values, opinions, and personality traits. Moral education taught to adolescents will greatly affect the character in the school environment. Parents must be willing to engage in conversation and encourage their children to talk about things related to values that will make children have high moral thinking. The role of parents here is very important to always monitor the moral development that occurs in their children in the school environment. Moral development related to the daily life of students at the school environment level is very influential in the attitudes that occur in the lives of students so that there is a lack of student morals in the school environment and a lot of social ethics that deviate from the association of students. The findings in the research above, there are about moral development and the causal factors of moral development or often called the influence of the moral development of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pucuk Lamongan, both from external and internal environmental problems.

Abstract:
Social trust is the basis for the development of biomedical technologies that affect the value and moral spheres of modern society. Axiological factors, external to science, are decisive in the formation of the legitimation of scientific research. Bioethics allows for the “acclimatization” of rather controversial scientific developments, achieving through a deliberative social process the recognition of new scientific methods that directly affect human life. The need to obtain informed consent from donors of biobanks is associated with the generally accepted procedure for conducting clinical trials. In a broader sense, biomaterials in the context of research are considered as the inalienable property of patients, which implies their right to control what happens to samples of biomaterials. However, given the workload of biobanks, which can host dozens of studies, the process of informing all donors about each individual study is an extremely difficult task, requiring both technical and time resources. Today, the form of extended informed consent is considered as the most appropriate model for the interaction of donors and depositories of biomaterials. Thus, the legal approach to the problem of informed consent for biobanks would seem to be more functional, while the need to take into account the moral principles of biobank donors remains relevant as a condition for trust in science.

Abstract:
At an early age, moral cultivation starts. If the child is in an area where, because of many factors, there is only a father or mother, this can affect the physical and psychological preparation of the child. The role of single parents in the development of children can be an obstacle to promoting child development, especially moral development. The value of training in self-efficacy for single-parents in stimulating moral growth is, therefore, an alternative option for children. This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Parental Self-Efficacy Program in improving the morality of children with single-parent status. This study explores one form of effort or experimental research to affect improvement. In order to determine the effectiveness of the parental self-efficacy program to promote the moral and social-emotional growth of children with single-parent status, a pre-test-post-test nonequivalent comparison group quasi-experimental design was chosen. Data were obtained from two community samples of 30 parents (mother) with single-parent families and 30 normal parent family status with children between preschool children aged 4 to 6 years. The findings showed that the parental self-efficacy program had an impact on improving the moral growth of children with single-parent status. It can be seen from the major differences linked to parental self-efficacy and the moral growth of children between the control group and the experimental group, where the experimental group had a higher average.

Abstract:
Introduction. The article is devoted to the development of the factor model of Belarus social development as a developing country with a specific social economy model. Belarus has a transitive social economy model. As a result of the study, three generalized factors of social development indicators of Belarus have been highlighted: state of developing of social economy, socialization base and human potential for socialization. Purpose. The purpose of the article is the construction of factor model of social economy indicators development for Belarus. Methods. To assess the key factors affecting the social development of Belarus, their analysis has been carried out by using a system of indicators for assessing the effectiveness of the social economy model at the global and national levels. In the article it has been used the methods of analysis, synthesis and comparison of data. To achieve the task of factor modeling of Belarus social indicators, the Statistics 7.0 package was used with factor analysis and the main component method. Factor analysis of social indicators of Belarus has allowed distinguishing factors that have a more significant impact on the country’s economy socialization. The method of factor analysis is used to reduce existing indicators by identifying hidden general factors that explain the relationship between the factors of the object - social indicators of the country’s development. Results. The main factors of the social development of Belarus have been identified. It has been established that two local indicators of social development of Belarus do not currently affect the country’s economy socialization, namely, the birth rate (the number of newborns per woman) and the share of the country’s territory with land and marine reserves. The article has been identified that it should be paid more attention to the third generalized indicator of social development indicators of Belarus, since it is the basis for the social economy development. Discussion. The supportive environment for human development, new business and self-employment of the population leads to the formation of effective foundations for raising the standard of living in all developing countries, incl. Belarus. It has been proposed to promote self-realization of the population’s potential for self-sufficiency and improvement of living standards.

Abstract:
The relevance of the study is defined by the need to identify the current moral level of pre-schoolers, to identify factors that positively and negatively affect the moral culture of the child, as well as to develop a methodological foundation for the effective and controlled development of moral culture, ethical principles and empathy among children of 4-5 years old considering the behavioural component. This study focuses on assessing the real levels of moral and cultural development among children, their systematisation and analysis, and making recommendations for teachers and parents to develop moral qualities in a child. The leading method for studying this problem is an experimental method that enables a comprehensive assessment of the moral culture among preschool children. In addition, methods such as structural analysis, comparative method, statistical method, synthesis and deduction methods, and the method of classification were used in the study. The study presents the results of an experiment to establish the level of development of the behavioural component of moral culture among preschool children, reveals the weaknesses of the development of this component, identifies methods of pedagogical influence on the development of moral culture, and makes recommendations for activities, pedagogical methods, and techniques that can be used to make a predictable positive impact on the moral culture of the child. The study materials are of practical value for teachers of preschool educational institutions, child psychologists, as well as teachers and students of pedagogical programmes, and parents.

Exchange of the drought and precipitations due to climate changes is preventing higher agrarian output. Although modern technology and methods of farm production may be the answer to this question, these raise public concerns about employment and environment quality. Because of demographic and technological lagging, some countries face other problems of achieving agronomic sustainability. In this paper, the importance of sustainable agriculture development, legal bases and some aspects of agricultural social responsibility are explored. Comparative and logical deduction methods of reviewing the selected international and national documents and literature were employed. Authors conclude there are adequate legal frameworks for agricultural social responsibility and the discussion if agriculture's moral priorities affect its economic performance will never end.

No specific measuring instrument to determine the emotions of primary school Pupils exists. There is nevertheless a dire need for a reliable measuring instrument for this purpose. Initially a literature study was undertaken and emotions from the developmental stages of primary school pupils were identified and described. An existing instrument of measurement for personality, the Emotions Profile Index (EPI), was adapted and implemented as a new measurement instrument to determine the emotions of primary learners. Questionnaires were completed by the parents of 144 grade 3 and 4 pupils during an empirical investigation. The degree of reliability of the new measurement instrument is particularly high. Stanines were developed for each of the different emotions. The conclusion arrived at is that the education psychologist can implement the newly adapted EPI as diagnostic instrument and conduct the planning of his therapy accordingly
Abstract:
In this chapter, we distinguish between different forms of empathy-related responding (i.e., empathy, sympathy, personal distress) and prosocial behavior. The capacity for empathy and sympathy emerges in the early years of life and generally increases with age across childhood. Individual differences in sympathy and prosocial behavior covary, and both tend to be fairly stable across time. Prosocial tendencies are related to prosocial moral reasoning, social competence, self-regulation, and low aggression/externalizing problems. Although individual differences in prosocial and empathic/sympathetic responding are partly due to heredity, environmental factors are also associated with such differences. Authoritative, supportive parenting involving modeling, reasoning, and practices that help children to understand others’ internal states has been associated with higher levels of prosocial behavior. Moreover, securely attached children tend to be prosocial. In addition, peers and siblings can encourage, reinforce, and model prosocial behavior. School interventions, as well as experience with volunteering, appear to affect the degree to which children are sympathetic and engage in prosocial behavior.

Abstract:
Collective forms of affect shape the possibilities for selfhood and the affects engendered in encounters with others. This chapter examines two different types of collective affect shaping community development in Medan, Indonesia. A moral atmosphere of ‘each giving a share’ hangs over and infects programme activities, making volunteers sticky with suspicion and susceptible to arousing cynicism in others. In contrast, the affective practices of volunteers generate a different tone, engendering feelings that reaffirm their actions as making a positive difference in the lives of others. The collision between these forms of collective affect have two implications for power configurations in development. First, collective conditions determine the differential capacity/susceptibility to affect and be affected. Second, the ability to shape collective forms of affect often (but not always) map on to existing social hierarchies.

Abstract:
Women municipal councillors in Dehradun, India, represent themselves as social workers, in affectionate relationships with their constituents. Yet often they are positioned as servants, required to undertake petty work on behalf of an ungrateful citizenry. This chapter argues that collective forms of affect make possible, if not probable this positioning. Affective practices of supplication during election campaigns resonate in the relationships between constituents and elected representatives, making durable what is most often considered only a temporary inversion of social hierarchies on election day. A moral atmosphere of clientelism makes political actors susceptible to engendering suspicion and disdain in others, further emboldening an assertive citizenry to make demands that far exceed their entitlements. These collective conditions shape the possibilities for self of women municipal councillors; becoming a ‘servant’ reveals the limits of their self-authorship.

Abstract:
Mass media and society, a popular concept in media studies, has constituted much discourse due to roles media play in society and perceived effects that can result thereof. This chapter is inspired by the term ‘medicalization of the society' whereby ailments are regarded as medical issues and subjected to medical diagnosis and treatment, regardless of their true causes. Similarly, the violence, moral decadence and ethno-religious crises witnessed in the society are largely ascribed to the media. This chapter examined the said effects of mass media with society's social systems, cultures and values, with a view to finding a relationship. It argues that these societal makeups especially ones as formidable as Africa's also affect largely members' conducts and reactions to media contents. However, it advocates children's news segment, adherence to media ethics, and use of media programmes to enhance learning, proper socialization, abolishment of negative cultures, media literacy among others.

Abstract:
As information technology is becoming an integral part of modern society, there is a growing concern that too much data containing personal information is stored by different actors in society and that this could potentially be harmful for the individual. The aim of this contribution is to show how the extended use of ICT can affect the individual’s right to privacy and how the public perceives risks to privacy. Three points are raised in this chapter: first, if privacy is important from a philosophical perspective, how is this demonstrated by empirical evidence? Do individuals trust the different actors that control their personal information, and is there a consensus that privacy can and should be compromised in order to reach another value? Second, if compromises in privacy are warranted by increased safety, is this increased security supported by empirical evidence? Third, the authors will argue that privacy can indeed be a means to increase the safety of citizens and that the moral burden of ensuring and protecting privacy is a matter for policy makers, not individuals. In conclusion, the authors suggest that more nuanced discussion on the concepts of privacy and safety should be acknowledged and the importance of privacy must be seen as an important objective in the development and structure of ICT uses.

Abstract:
The business sector increasingly subsidizes financially challenged institutions. Representative examples would include health care, major sports arenas, and penal facilities. Among the recent beneficiaries of corporate largesse are schools. Such assistance blurs social roles and raises serious moral concerns, especially those of moral agency. Education, more so than other social institutions, determines the kind of citizen and moral character a person can become. Put differently, education operates on virtue development that may override the fiscal logic of profit-maximization practiced by corporations. In this paper I argue that whatever benefit received by struggling schools is short-lived by comparison to the long range influence achieved by a corporation via advertisements that affect the psychological preferences of children. I contend that this makes the exchange unfair insofar as it violates the autonomy of the student. Education should provide a free and open atmosphere in which critical points of view are discussed. If corporations are permitted untrammeled access to schools, social views may become one-dimensional. Economic salvation would effectively trade on the moral failure of schools.

This introductory chapter begins with a discussion of the importance of education for the Society of Jesus. Saint Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus, intended Jesuit education to be free and open to all social classes and saw it as an important contribution to the “common good” of society. Before long, the Jesuits created a worldwide network of colleges and universities anchored in a humanistic education and a common concern for the moral development of students. The chapter then describes the Immigrant Students National Position Paper, a study of the situation of undocumented students at the twenty-eight Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States and the institutional practices that affect those students. This book on undocumented students at Jesuit institutions of higher education in the United States expands upon the work of the Immigration Student National Position Paper.

Abstract:
This chapter looks at what gets in the way of our capacity for consciousness about ourselves, others, and nature—and the implications for our lives and the future of our planet. It draws from classic experiments on how perceptions are often suppressed, denied, and/or distorted in individuals who have been conditioned through their early experiences to believe that dominating and being dominated are our only alternatives, as well as how such individuals tend to have difficulty dealing with change. It presents recent studies using brain scans showing that this difficulty (with its implications for denial of climate change and other present threats) is associated with a particular kind of brain development. It also draws from new studies confirming that people from such backgrounds tend to vote for “strongman leaders”; support a punitive political agenda (such as capital punishment, heavy investment in prisons, use of military force in international affairs, and punishment of “immoral” women and gays); and deflect their suppressed fear and anger into prejudices against “inferior” or “dangerous” out-groups (all exploited by antidemocratic populists such as Trump in our world today). It examines how the cultural construction of gender roles and relations and the social categories provided by our languages affect what people perceive as moral, normal, and/or inevitable, revealing the psychosocial dynamics that habituate people to suppress their capacity for empathy, to accept authoritarian control, and to become unable to see more equitable, compassionate, less stressful life options.

Abstract:
The main task of the article is to summarize the intermediate results in the author’s study of the image in the systems of perception (and, accordingly, impact). This goal is achieved in the text by solving the following tasks: characterizing of the relationship between the material and spiritual life of society, incl. with increasing pressure of virtual worlds on the real state and dynamics; researching of the parameters of meaningfulness and reflexivity in social management; studying the place of symbols in public life (in particular, when organizing influences during a paradigmatic transition); delineating the possibilities of symbolism in helping to optimize the improvements of the future. In the process of achieving this goal, research and presentation methods are used, associated with abstract-logical and concrete-historical development of practical and theoretical material. Each cultural and civilizational world develops in the process of history and interaction with nature and other worlds its own characteristics and ideas, in particular, recorded at the levels of a variety of linguistic practices, socio-economic foundations, political institutions, etc. The preservation of real global subjectivity (and not transformation into an object of external manipulation) all the more requires an understanding of the essence of international processes and the range of effective influences on it in order to realize their legitimate interests. First of all, those cultural and civilizational worlds become successful, which are able not only to interest, captivate with their meanings, but also to structure their social space, using both classical and innovative resources, integrating the forms of value consciousness that are basic for themselves with the logic of historical changes. The cultivation of the Super-Project, development clusters beneficial for the desired changes in the social climate are important factors in using the unique opportunities of the transition period, strengthened by the unity of conscious goal-setting with objective trends in socio-economic dynamics. Thus, ensuring the protection and development of symbols and imagery that carry basic value-semantic complexes, a moral and spiritual core is not only the preservation of continuity, but also an essential element of both life support and the maintenance of social harmony around the ideals of creativity and creativity. The sociocultural organism of the ecumene can be fraught with both a new social life and the death of civilization. The rivalry of cultural-civilizational worlds that permeates history (each with its own set of advantages and disadvantages, organic forms of combining general and private interests, unity and diversity of creative search), which are at different phases of socio-genesis, refracted by the law of uneven development and different-speed running of time, receives new paints in the face of radical changes. Accordingly, it is required to prioritize a set of conditions under which: – the remnants of the Soviet legacy would work for the benefit of their people, and would not strengthen foreign corporations and would not be subordinated to the tasks of creating products in the interests of other countries (through systems for issuing grants, placing orders, paying works, etc.), – from attempts to «ride on the fragments of Soviet breakthroughs» it is time to move on to stimulating the independent creation of new reserves, – the concept of social development should not be built around the symbols of «bridge», «agrarian future», «beggar country», etc., but with the priorities of the ideals of creativity (primarily scientific-intellectual), originality and self-sufficiency. Moreover, their vector should lead not to the rural past, but to the future with scientific and industrial clusters and an uplifting social environment.

Abstract:
"The problem of motivation is one of the most important in determining the driving mechanisms that force a person to learn, work, master something new. Motivation to work is one of the key elements of challenging yourself on the way to self-development. Motivation has deep psychological and moral roots and is a complex multifaceted phenomenon that often defies logical comprehension. In addition, it is an ephemeral, elusive thing; it is not a permanent feature of a person in one or another area of his activity. Accordingly, it is the problem of origin, retention, and in a good scenario of strengthening the motivation that is in one of the first place among the tasks that modern teachers face. Rapid scientific and technological development and progress in various fields of knowledge, new scientific and technical discoveries and the need for new high-tech developments require specialists with a high level of education and high-quality professional training. This applies not only to scientific and technical spheres, but also to natural-applied and humanitarian areas. All this makes higher education today a prestigious and extremely attractive goal for most young people, making young people use their studies at a university as a social lift for further personal development and career development. At the same time, a situation is observed when entering universities, many young people are faced with a serious problem of lack of motivation to learn, or they are demotivated in the learning process, which often leads to a very low level of quality of their studies, and sometimes makes them interrupt study for academic leave or give it up completely. Pedagogical science has accumulated a wealth of experience in studying this problem, however, the modern challenges of a changing world require pedagogy to constantly monitor changes and search for new approaches to solving the problems that students have in the course of obtaining higher education. The authors study this problem, taking as an example Russia, which is a country at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, where features of European and Eastern culture are combined in people. The authors approached the issue from several important angles. The article analyzes the socio-economic and political characteristics that affect the motivation for learning among young people. Particular attention is paid to the state of the current Russian society, spiritual and moral guidelines of young people, their goals and views on life and their own future. The authors emphasize the importance of family, religion and spiritual and moral development in the issue of motivation to work and study. The authors come to the conclusion that the problem of lack of motivation is based on a combination of reasons, but its root is primarily in the family upbringing of the student, as well as in his moral component and emotional and psychological maturity of the individual. The article provides an overview and some of the changes in student motivation associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and online learning. It is important to note that in the course of their research, the authors relied on their many years of experience in teaching at higher educational institutions in Russia."
