Abstract:
O termo Oncologia Integrativa (OI) foi criado a partir da medicina integrativa, que se diferencia das medicinas alternativa e complementarpor buscar resultados baseados em evidências e considerar o paciente em sua totalidade. O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar os resultados de uma revisão integrativa da literatura realizada no bancode dados PubMed-MEDLINE usando a expressão Integrative Oncology.Foram encontrados 74 estudos dos quais 26 foram incluídos e 48 excluídos pelos critérios de inclusão/exclusão. Os resultados mostram que as terapias integrativas têm sido aplicadas para aliviar os sintomas do câncer, os efeitos colaterais de seus tratamentos ou de alguns de seus procedimentos. Conclui-se que a OI é uma prática em construção e que está sendo implementada principalmente nos EUA, podendo-se identificar uma expansão do modelo de cuidado pluralista e integrativo.

Abstract:
Zusammenfassung. Die Initiierung regelmäßiger Sportaktivitäten von Herzinfarktpatienten nach ihrer Anschlussheilbehandlung (AHB) bildet eine wesentliche Voraussetzung zur Sicherung eines langfristigen Rehabilitationserfolges. Im Sinne einer theoretischen Rekonstruktion solcher instrumenteller Bewegungsaktivitäten wird ein integratives Modell vorgestellt. Darin werden mit der Rubikontheorie der Handlungsphasen ( Heckhausen, 1989 ; Gollwitzer, 1996 ) eine handlungspsychologische Perspektive und mit sozial-kognitiven Determinanten aus Modellen zum Gesundheitsverhalten (z.B. Fuchs, 1997 ) eine gesundheitsspezifische Perspektive miteinander verknüpft. Zur empirischen Anwendung des Modells werden in einer Feldstudie 135 Herzinfarktpatienten während ihrer stationären AHB schriftlich und drei Monate poststationär telefonisch hinsichtlich der Initiierung regelmäßiger Sportaktivitäten im Alltag befragt. Ein zentrales Ergebnis der Studie deutet auf die besondere Rolle volitionaler Merkmale (z.B. Realisierungsintentionen, Selbstwirksamkeitserwartungen) bei der Initiierung regelmäßiger Sportaktivitäten hin. Abschließend werden neben untersuchungsmethodischen Aspekten die Ergebnisse im Hinblick auf die theoretische Weiterentwicklung des integrativen Modells sowie die Gestaltung von Interventionen zur Förderung regelmäßiger Sportaktivitäten diskutiert.

ZusammenfassungFür die nuklearmedizinische Dosimetrie wird die Kenntnis der Anzahl der Zerfälle des verwendeten Radionuklids im jeweiligen Gewebe oder dem betrachteten Volumenelement (Voxel) benötigt. Hierfür muss die Pharmakokinetik, also der entsprechende Zeitaktivitätsverlauf, bekannt sein, weil die Zahl der Zerfälle durch die mathematische Integration des Aktivitätsverlaufs über der Zeit berechnet werden kann. Da die Aktivität nur für einige wenige Zeitpunkte gemessen werden kann, muss die vollständige Pharmakokinetik für alle Zeitpunkte anhand von mathematischen Modellen geschätzt werden. Nur auf der Basis geeigneter Modelle können Vorhersagen der Pharmakokinetik zur Optimierung der Therapie erhalten werden.Diese Modelle unterscheiden sich in ihrer Komplexität aufgrund des im Modell enthaltenen Vorwissens über die zugrundeliegende Physiologie und der zur Verfügung stehenden Anzahl von Messpunkten: So gibt es modellunabhängige Varianten, einfache Kompartimentmodelle oder physiologisch basierte Kompartimentmodelle. In den Letzteren werden die mathematischen Kompartimente mit entsprechenden physiologischen Kompartimenten identifiziert, weshalb die Parameter des Modells physiologischen Größen entsprechen. Damit erlauben diese physiologisch basierten pharmakokinetischen (PBPK) Modelle nicht nur eine Kurvenanpassung an die Messwerte sondern zusätzlich auch die Simulation verschiedener therapeutischer Optionen als Basis zukünftiger Optimierungen der Therapie. Die unterschiedliche Komplexität des verwendeten Vorwissens für die verschiedenen Modelle beeinflusst die Anzahl der benötigten Messdaten und damit sowohl die Kosten als auch die Qualität der Ergebnisse. In dieser Übersicht werden zuerst verschiedene Arten von Modellen eingeführt und beobachterunabhängige Verfahren zur Auswahl des besten Modells basierend auf den gegebenen Messdaten diskutiert. Danach wird die Modellselektion am Beispiel des Akaike Informations-Kriteriums und von Qualitätskriterien für die Datenanpassung durch Modelle demonstriert. Des Weiteren werden Beispiele für den Einsatz von physiologisch basierten pharmakokinetischen Ganzkörpermodellen in der nuklearmedizinischen Dosimetrie zur Optimierung der Radionuklid-Therapie vorgestellt.

Depois de mais de sessenta anos da assinatura do Tratado de Roma que deu origem à Comunidade Econômica Europeia, o bloco europeu vive ainda hoje uma grande crise. Não é uma crise apenas econômica. Buscamos expor uma releitura de diferentes componentes do processo de integração europeu que culmina nesta crise, e tentaremos indicar elementos analítico-metodológicos sobre os caminhos da União Europeia fundamentado na relação entre capital e trabalho. O fio condutor deste artigo se encontra na divergência entre capital e trabalho no processo integrativo, pois persistiu um modelo integrativo no qual a economia é o fator hegemônico. Abstract: After more than sixty years ago, the signature of the Treaty of Rome, which created the European Economic Community, the European bloc is still suffering a significant crises. This is not merely an economic crisis. In this paper the aim is to expose different features of the European integration process, which culminated in the current crisis, and to indicate methodological analytical aspects concernd the paths of the European Union based on the relationship between labour and capital. This article points out the idea that exist a divergence between capital and labor in the integration process, as persisted an integrative pattern in which economy is the hegemonic feature. Objetivo: Identificar os fatores que permeiam o comportamento intraempreendedor dos colaboradores com base na literatura sobre o tema. Método / abordagem: Foi utilizada uma abordagem metodológica qualitativa e exploratória, por meio de uma revisão sistemática da literatura. Principais resultados: Como principal resultado, esta pesquisa apresenta um modelo integrativo que constitui os fatores que facilitam e inibem o intraempreendedorismo, características e traços de personalidade de intraempreendedores, os aspectos do comportamento intraempreendedor, consequências individuais e organizacionais. O modelo contribui para uma melhor compreensão dos fatores que permeiam o comportamento intraempreendedor dos colaboradores. Contribuições metodológicas / sociais / gerenciais: Esta pesquisa contribui teoricamente para ampliar e enriquecer a literatura no campo do intraempreendedorismo, consolidando os fatores que permeiam o comportamento intraempreendedor dos colaboradores. Do ponto de vista prático, fornece subsídios para auxiliar executivos, gerentes e o setor de recursos humanos na contratação, identificação, alocação e desenvolvimento de intraempreendedores dentro das organizações. Zusammenfassung. IRezeptionsseitige Einschätzungen des Verhältnisses zwischen audiovisuellen Medienprodukten und der Realität sind innerhalb der Medienpsychologie Gegenstand der Perceived Reality-Forschung. Deren mehrdimensionale Explikationen der erlebten Wirklichkeit weisen zum einen Unschärfen und Inkonsistenzen auf, zum anderen fehlt bislang ein integratives Modell. Ein erster Teil dieses Beitrags (Fernsehen und erlebte Wirklichkeit I) hat einen systematischen Überblick über diese Forschungsrichtung gegeben. In dem vorliegenden zweiten Teil des Beitrags wird nun ein mehrdimensionales Modell zu ‘Realitäts-Fiktions-Unterscheidungen‘ vorgestellt, das die Konzeptualisierungen der Perceived Reality sowie inkonsistente Befunde integriert und präzisiert. Zunächst wird das Modell vorgestellt, in dem zwischen drei Perspektiven von so genannten Realitäts-Fiktions-Unterscheidungen differenziert wird: Werkkategorie, Erfahrungsinhalt und Erfahrungsmodus. Anschließend wird aufgezeigt, in welcher Relation diese Perspektiven zu den in der Perceived Reality-Forschung angesetzten Urteilsdimensionen stehen und wie sich inkonsistente Befunde der Perceived Reality-Forschung innerhalb des vorgestellten Modells plausibel rekonstruieren lassen. Auf der Grundlage des Drei-Perspektiven-Modells werden abschließend unter Berücksichtigung von Prozessen der Urteilsbildung Perspektiven einer kritisch-konstruktiven (medienspezifischen wie -übergreifenden) Nutzungskompetenz skizziert.

As políticas públicas e legislações relacionadas à educação no Brasil vem sofrendo um processo de transformação desde a Constituição de 1988. O desenvolvimento do ensino superior privado no país foi influenciado pelo crescimento econômico e pelo mercado financeiro, ampliando o acesso ao ensino superior e a quantidade de Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) no país. Este cenário provocou um grande interesse em pesquisas que visam explorar aspectos culturais, sociais e econômicos envolvidos no ensino superior e, dessa forma, o presente artigo visa compreender como se dá a formação docente em Psicologia e quais desafios são enfrentados nesta formação. Através de uma pesquisa documental e da hipótese de um projeto pedagógico integrativo, o artigo buscou articular discussões sobre o modelo integrativo na graduação, o ensino superior no Brasil, as diretrizes curriculares nacionais no ensino da Psicologia, a relação entre Psicologia e Transdisciplinaridade, bem como a aplicação deste conceito ao ensino na área, com a formação mais integrativa de um docente em Psicologia, e como ela se relaciona com a construção do conhecimento por parte de estudantes.

Abstract:
Le celle a combustibile sono dispositivi elettrochimici che convertono l’energia chimica di un combustibile gassoso in elettricità. Questa tecnologia sta assumendo un ruolo sempre più importante nello sviluppo futuro dello scenario energetico, essendo una soluzione alternativa e rinnovabile di produzione di energia elettrica. Un sistema fuel cell è composto da diversi sottosistemi che interagiscono tra di loro e la risposta del FCS (Fuel Cell System) dipende dall’alimentazione di aria e idrogeno, dalla regolazione dei flussi e delle pressioni, dalla gestione del calore e dell’acqua. In questo elaborato viene presentato un modello dinamico adatto alla comprensione del comportamento del sistema e allo studio del sistema di controllo. Il modello è stato sviluppato in ambiente Simulink, dove vengono inclusi i fenomeni transitori della dinamica dei flussi dei reagenti, l’inerzia del compressore, la dinamica di riempimento del collettore e l’umidità della membrana. La tecnica di controllo utilizzata, si basa su un classico controllo in retroazione (feedback) e in avanti(feed-forward) che utilizza un controllo proporzionale e integrativo (PI). La strategia di controllo viene applicata al flusso di ossigeno in ingresso al catodo e alla portata dell’idrogeno in ingresso all’anodo

Abstract:
Atendendo à premissa de expor a vivência do pesquisador em inovação e empreendedorismo, esse trabalho trata-se de um estudo de caso adaptado que teve como objetivo, propor um quadro de modelo de negócios para uma organização de Medicina Integrativa. A proposta do modelo de negócios atendeu um processo proposto por Kolb, onde através da experiência concreta, observação reflexiva e experimentação ativa, conseguiu-se realizar a conceptualização abstrata para um modelo de negócios inovador. Engajando-se na racionalidade médica contemporânea, que busca encontrar um mecanismo de cuidado com o indivíduo por práticas e protocolos que possam ser eficientes e de menor custo, e impulsionado pela experiência profissional e interesse de um investidor, realizou-se uma sequência de ações que pudessem formar um modelo de negócios estruturado e que atendesse um negócio inovador. Foi possível observar que: A) O modelo de negócios mostra-se bastante eficaz para compreender um negócio inovador; B) A Medicina Integrativa é um conjunto de práticas que envolve o cuidado global do indivíduo; C) APor meio do modelo de negócios, é possível proporcionar subsídios para alcançar investidores e, por fim, D) Por meio do modelo de negócios foi possível que o principal stakeholder, o médico proprietário, pôde obter, após a aplicação da ferramenta, novas ideias e insights a respeito de ações imediatas e futuras. Para os outros, a compreensão estabeleceu clareza e direcionamento maior dos objetivos, assim como, possibilitou a definição das responsabilidades e prioridades de cada um.
Given the premise of exposing the experience of research in innovation and entrepreneurship, this work is an appropriate case study that aimed to propose a business model framework for an organization of Integrative Medicine. The proposed business model attended a process proposed by Kolb, which through concrete experience, reflective observation and active experimentation, was managed to achieve the abstract conceptualization to an innovative business model. Engaging in contemporary medical rationality, which seeks to find a care facility with the individual for practices and protocols that may be efficient and lower-cost, driven by experience and interest of an investor, was held a sequence of actions that could form a structured business model and that meets an innovative business. It was observed that: A) The business model is the most effective way to understand an innovative business; B) The Integrative Medicine is undoubtedly the most effective and involves less cost in the overall individual care; C) Through the business model, it is possible to provide subsidies to reach investors and, finally, D) Through the business model it was possible that the main stakeholder, the physician owner could get, after application of the tool, new ideas and insights regarding immediate and future actions. For others, understanding clearly established and greater targeting of objectives, as well as made possible the definition of responsibilities and priorities of each.

Egzistencinis socialinio darbo modelis yra svarbus, įtakingas ir reikšmingas šiuolaikiniam socialiniam darbui. Kai kurių teoretikų nuomone, jis iki šiol nėra deramai išvystytas ir pritaikytas praktikai, nežiūrint to, kad jo principai ir teiginiai yra aktualūs socialiniame darbe. Dėl šio fakto yra būtina tirti egzistencinio modelio privalumus praktinėje profesinėje veikloje, jo integracijos su kitais modeliais galimybes, taip pat nustatyti jo taikymo trūkumus ir apribojimus. Tyrimo tikslas – išsiaiškinti ir įvertinti egzistencinio modelio taikymo perspektyvą šiuolaikinių socialinio darbo modelių kontekste. Tyrimo metodu buvo pasirinktas kokybinis lyginamosios turinio analizės metodas. Egzistencinis modelis buvo lyginamas su bihevioristiniu ir sistemų teorijos socialinio darbo modeliais pagal išskirtas kategorijas. Tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad egzistencinis modelis išsiskiria savo filosofiniu pagrindu, kuris nulemia šiuos nepanašumus ir netgi prieštaravimus su kitais dviem modeliais: žmogaus sampratą, kliento bruožai, esminės problemų priežastys, intervencijos tikslas, pokyčio kliento gyvenime traktavimas. Įvertinus egzistencinio modelio integravimo su kitais dviem modeliais galimybes, išaiškėjo, kad integravęs į savo teorinę bei praktinę konstrukciją sistemų teorijos probleminės situacijos įvykių analizės ir bihevioristinio modelio intervencijos metodus bei technikas, egzistencinis modelis tik laimėtų, praturtintų ir praplėstų savo teorinę ir praktinę dalis. Existential model of social work is important, weighty and significant for contemporary social work. Though some theorists point out that in spite of the relevance of the existential model it is not developed well and not fit to social work practice. Therefore it is necessary to search and analyse the advantages of the model and potentiality of integration with another models of social work as well as to identify the weaknesses. The aim of the research is to evaluate the perspective of the existential model in the context of contemporary models of social work. The method of the research is qualitative comparative content analysis. The existential model is to be compared with behavioural and system theory models according to the given categories. The results of the research show that the most obvious different between observed models is the philosophical background of the existential model. This background set even inconsistency in definition of such categories as conception of human, description of client, main aim of intervention and interpretation of changes in client’s situation. When a possibility of integration of existential and other two models was evaluated, it came clear, that existential model can benefit much for its theoretical frame and practice of including of the system theory’s point of analysis of problems as well as some behavioural intervention methods and techniques. Este trabajo presenta una revisión teórica de los conceptos relacionados con la sexualidad humana y sus distintos procedimientos diagnósticos y terapéuticos. Se realiza un análisis de artículos científicos, en el contexto de las terapias sexuales desde principio del siglo XX hasta hoy en día. La complejidad de la dimensión sexual, iniciada con una visión dicotómica mente/cuerpo implicaba una terapia psicológica o médica exclusiva. Sin embargo, en el estado actual de conocimiento y la complejidad del sistema consultante, requiere de una integración de factores: biológicos, psicológicos, interpersonales y contextuales en la comprensión contemporánea de la sexualidad y el manejo de estas dificultades emergentes. Resumo: Esta Tese de doutoramento apresenta um Modelo de Plataforma Integrativa para Soluções Habilitantes (MPISH). Este modelo foi construído a partir de uma pesquisa sobre a Tríplice Hélice (TH) do vale da eletrônica, que se encontra inserido nos limites do município de Santa Rita do Sapucaí, região Sul do Estado de Minas Gerais - Brasil, sob a motivação de conhecer o modus agendi da TH local e por meio de seus integrantes identificar os desafios atuais de cada um dos setores, quais sejam: governo - universidade - indústria. O modelo tem por finalidade promover o envolvimento dos integrantes da TH, visando a criação de programas e ações de desenvolvimento mais adequadas à realidade de uma dada região. As marcas têm-se afirmado como um fenómeno do marketing e sobretudo do comércio nos últimos 30 anos, fruto do crescimento das marcas no tecido empresarial, da aposta cada vez mais aguerrida nas campanhas de marketing e do crescimento do comércio. Desta forma, as marcas constituem-se como um ativo estratégico para as empresas, sendo necessário gerir e avaliar este ativo. As marcas são criadas, no entanto, para que produzam os resultados esperados é necessário que sejam avaliadas quer no plano interno (através do cliente interno), quer no plano externo (através do cliente externo). Um dos pilares da marca são as suas fontes de valor, denominadas por alguns investigadores como dimensões, serão as fontes de valor internas e externas que serão avaliadas, no sentido de chegar ao valor da marca. Será ainda incorporado no modelo uma vertente de avaliação da formação da preferência. Será criado um novo modelo de avaliação de marcas — modelo integrativo — com o objetivo de dar corpo à presente investigação. O modelo está suportado em três vertentes: o valor interno da marca, o valor externo e a formação da preferência do cliente. Cada uma destas vertentes será avaliada através de fontes de valor, uma mais num plano da formação da preferência, outras num plano de marketing, outras num plano de recursos interno. O objetivo deste trabalho é pois apresentar um novo modelo integrativo (multidimensional) de avaliação de marcas, testar o modelo em marcas do setor têxtil português e verificar a sua aceitabilidade.
In the last 30 years, brands have been claimed as a marketing and specially a trade phenomenon reflecting the growth of brands in the business world and the ever stiffer bet on marketing campaigns and trade growth. More and more brands are a strategic asset for companies, being necessary to manage and evaluate this asset. Brands are created, however, in order to produce the expected results need to be assessed both internally (through the internal customer) and externally (through external client). One of the pillars of the brand is its sources of value, named by some investigators as dimensions. Sources of internal and external value will be evaluated in order to estimate the value of a brand. It will be further incorporated into the model an aspect of evaluation of the preference creation. A new model of brand valuation will be created in order to give substance to this investigation – the integrative model. Three aspects support the model: the internal value of the brand, the external value and the formation of customer preference. Each of these aspects will be assessed through sources of value, one in terms of formation of preference, others in the marketing plan, and others in the internal resources plane. The objectives of this paper are therefore to present a new integrative model (multidimensional) of brands assessment; test the new model in the Portuguese textile sector and verify its acceptability.
Les marques se sont affirmées comme étant un phénomène de marketing et surtout de commerce depuis ses 30 dernières années, fruit de l’accroissement des marques dans le tissus entrepreneurial, un pari de plus en plus conquérant dans les campagnes de marketing et la croissance du commerce. Ainsi, les marques se constituent comme un actif stratégique au sein des entreprises, étant nécessaire de gérer et évaluer cet actif. Les marques sont créées, néanmoins, pour qu’elles produisent des résultats attendus, il est nécessaire qu’elles soient évaluées sur un plan interne (à travers le client interne), puis sur un plan externe (à travers le client externe).Un des pilliers de la marque c’est sa source de valeur, nommée par certains chercheurs comme des dimensions, qui seront des sources de valeur internse et externes qui seront évaluées, dans le sens d’arriver à une valeur de la marque. Il sera également incorporé dans le modèle un aspect de l’évaluation de formation de la préférence. Il sera créé un nouveau modèle d’évaluation des marques- modèle d’ intégration- visant à donner du corps à la présente recherche. Le modèle est supporté en trois aspects : la valeur interne de la marque, la valeur externe et enfin la formation de préférence du client. Chacun de ses aspects sera évalué à travers des sources de valeur, une de plus dans un plan de formation de préférence, l’autre dans un plan de marketing et dans un plan de ressources internes. L’objectif de cette recherche est donc de présenter un modèle d’intégration (multidimensionnel) d’évaluation des marques, de le tester dans des marques du secteur du textile portugais et vérifier son acceptation.

Abstract:
This thesis aimed to propose a theoretical-conceptual model to demonstrate the information flows in the processes of search and use of the information used by managers of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in strategic decisions. The theoretical work was based on identifying information needs, seeking processes and use of information models, as well as organizational strategic decision making models. The main methodological research approach used in the thesis was to study of the type 'formulator or exploratory', which allowed the construction and propose several models, which were consolidated into Integrative Model: information behavior for strategic decisions. As a test of this model, we conducted interviews with managers of MSE located in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The results show the applicability of the Integrative Model and constituent models, confirming the methodological procedures adopted in the thesis, both for the development of the Integrative Model and the search´s test.
Esta tese teve como objetivo principal propor um modelo teórico-conceitual que demonstrar os fluxos informacionais presentes nos processos de busca e uso da informação, utilizados por gestores de micro e pequenas empresas (MPE) em decisões estratégicas. A fundamentação teórica do trabalho se baseou em modelos de identificação das necessidades informacionais, processos de busca e uso da informação, bem como modelos de tomada de decisão estratégica organizacional. A principal abordagem metodológica de pesquisa utilizada na tese foi o estudo do tipo formulador ou exploratório, o qual permitiu a construção e proposição de diversos modelos, consolidados no Modelo Integrativo: comportamento informacional para decisões estratégicas. Como teste desse modelo, foram realizadas entrevistas com gestores de MPE localizadas em Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Os resultados mostraram a aplicabilidade do Modelo Integrativo e seus modelos constituintes, corroborando os procedimentos metodológicos adotados na tese, tanto para a elaboração do Modelo Integrativo, quanto para a pesquisa de teste.

"Questo lavoro pone le sue radici nella ricerca di una spiegazione all'insoddisfazione dei visitatori di fronte all'immenso patrimonio storico-artistico italiano. Considerando come causa maggiore la cattiva gestione delle organizzazioni culturali peninsulari, si è ragionato sui cambiamenti apportati dal New Public Management al settore culturale. Questo approccio economico-manageriale conduce ad una gestione più efficacie ed efficiente. Ci si è in seguito soffermati sul concetto di azienda-museo, un ibrido di economia e cultura che dispone di una particolare catena del valore e ha precise responsabilità. A questo punto, sono stati approfonditi in particolare due sistemi per la valutazione della performance con una buona applicabilità al settore museale: la Balanced Scorecard e la Data Envelopment Analysis. Queste metodologie vengono descritte valutandone la struttura e confrontando i metodi applicativi, nonché illustrando alcuni casi di letteratura particolarmente esemplificativi. Obiettivo finale dell'elaborato è considerare l'integrazione tra questi due approcci, proponendo un modello applicabile al settore museale e verificandone la fattibilità con uno studio su alcuni musei internazionali.”

Traditionally traffic demand models require as input the impedance of a demand with respect to the network supply; mode choice or departure choice for example, take into account the travel time for each option. Bearing this in mind, the main criticism of using static models to evaluate travel times is that the estimated travel time could diverge considerably because these models have no capacity constraints. On the other hand, dynamic models, such as mesoscopic models, have a level of detail that is sometimes unnecessarily high for the final requirements. The Quasi-dynamic model developed in Aimsun could contribute to a more realistic estimate of the travel time while avoiding the need for a full dynamic model. This paper presents the integration of a Quasi-dynamic model inside the integrated framework of Aimsun and evaluates a comparison of all models in terms of travel time estimation. The study discussed observations from 8-electrode brain-control interface (BCI) recordings and investigated its connectomic structure. The subject repeatedly controlled the operating system by concentrating creatively and producing recordable signals. The research problem was to understand recorded psychometric data and prove its validity. Sample observational size (n = 6’825) was selected using clustering sampling from successfully recorded stimulations (N >= 200’000) in a Virtual Reality (VR) development environment. The empirical Structural Equation Model (SEM) was modeled. Through SEM, rotated data was simplified with Factor Analysis (FA). Hypothesis testing reveals distinctions and correlation predictions in non-invasively placed electrodes on the cerebral hemisphere. In conclusion, the β-values of electrodes placed to the right instead predict adverse effects to the left electrodes during processing visual sensory inputs.

New technologies offer new potentials to tackle everyday challenges, but this has only a chance to become true if technology is intelligently integrated with humans, organizations and environment. A good balance between different stakeholders and tension fields is one of the most challenging research questions of Human Systems Integration. Especially in the field of energy, where huge pulls from environmental and societal demands into different directions meet technological pushes from new energy sources and methods. After a short introduction to the electricity market, the relations between different systems are modelled into a system of systems. The paper continues developing the system dynamics model and brings the sub-systems into relation with each other. It concludes by testing the system dynamics model for simulations with alternative approaches, among others a Vehicle-2-Grid approach, in the transformation of the European energy system.

Tisaleo canton in Ecuador produces 1893.55 tons of blackberry (Rubus glaucus) per year. In this work, the design of a blackberry pulp production plant is presented, using the systematic layout planning methodology, which allows to identify, assess and visualize all the elements involved in the implantation and the relationships between these. Within the methodology, the location is established at the micro-level where the qualitative method by points is used, the material flow analysis is performed through the from/to chart, the triangular diagram is developed, the necessary total area is determined through the Guerchet methodology, the space relationship diagram is carried out, and three alternatives are established and evaluated for the distribution. Based on the ideal alternative, the equipment is designed using SolidWorks software, the plant is modeled in 2D and 3D through the 3ds Max and AutoCAD software creating a 360° render, that evidence the design and distribution of the ideal plant.

This thematic paper deals with integration policies concerning persons who aregranted international protection in EU Member States. It acknowledges that there are two general trends in integration policies - a civic turn and a local turn. The civic turn implies more integration requirements for migrants, decided upon by the state, that have an impact on the legal status of migrant newcomers. On the other hand, the local turn implies less national involvement with cities instead handling more of the integration policies, including funding and policy measures. The paper then describes four different models for the integration of beneficiaries of international protection: a national government-led model, a project based/multilevel governance model, a laissez-faire model, and a NGO-led model.

Abstract:
Purpose – The rostrum of a paddlefish provides hydrodynamic stability during feeding process in addition to detect the food using receptors that are randomly distributed in the rostrum. The exterior tissue of the rostrum covers the cartilage that surrounds the bones forming interlocking star shaped bones. Design/methodology/approach – The aim of this work is to assess the mechanical behavior of four finite element models varying the type of formulation as follows: linear-reduced integration, linear-full integration, quadratic-reduced integration and quadratic-full integration. Also presented is the load transfer mechanisms of the bone structure of the rostrum. Findings – Conclusions are based on comparison among the four models. There is no significant difference between integration orders for similar type of elements. Quadratic-reduced integration formulation resulted in lower structural stiffness compared with linear formulation as seen by higher displacements and stresses than using linearly formulated elements. It is concluded that second-order elements with reduced integration and can model accurately stress concentrations and distributions without over stiffening their general response. Originality/value – The use of advanced computational mechanics techniques to analyze the complex geometry and components of the paddlefish rostrum provides a viable avenue to gain fundamental understanding of the proper finite element formulation needed to successfully obtain the system behavior and hot spot locations.
