Abstract:
En el artículo se analiza la opinión de los estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional de Educación (UNAE) acerca de las tutorías, los proyectos integradores de saberes (PIENSA) y la relación de las asignaturas con la Práctica Preprofesional (PP). Para la muestra, escogida de manera no aleatoria, se convocó a un grupo focal a los representantes de cada uno de los paralelos (25 en total) de las 4 carreras: 15 participantes de Educación Básica (EB), 4 de Educación Intercultural Bilingüe (EIB), 4 de Educación Inicial (EI) y 2 de Educación Especial (EE). La recolección de información se realizó durante dos encuentros: en el primer día acudieron 9 participantes de EB y en el segundo día 5 participantes de EI, EIB y EE. El propósito de estos grupos focales es contrastar las opiniones de los estudiantes con el modelo pedagógico de la UNAE y aspectos teóricos-conceptuales afines. Como conclusión se destacan aspectos sobre cómo desarrollan las tutorías y se identifican también algunos aspectos a mejorar.

Abstract:
Objetivos: Evaluar la influencia del espesor óptico de aerosol (EOA) en la radiación ultravioleta (RUV) que incide en la Estación Antártica Peruana Machu Picchu (ECAMP). Métodos: La investigación fue descriptiva comparativa. El principal instrumento para evaluar el EOA fue el fotómetro solar SP02-Lpara mediciones directas del sol con 4 sensores centrados en las longitudes de onda 412, 500, 675 y 862 nm Solo fueron utilizados el EOA a 500nm, como la distribución vertical de ozono, altura y el albedo de la ubicación. Con estos datos, el modelo generó datos cada minuto durante 24 horas durante el mes de enero de 2007, 2008 y febrero de 2013. Para su validación se utilizaron mediciones en tierra, sincronizándolo con el radiómetro espectral Ground-Based Ultraviolet (UV) GUV-511 Biospherical Inc., que brinda mediciones a 305, 320, 340 y 380 nm. Se determinó el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman para la evaluación estadística, como la influencia del EOA en la radiación UV que incide en la Antártida. Resultados:Se determinó una máxima y mínima media de EOA de 0.1061 y 0.0616, respectivamente. Se reportó un coeficiente de correlación con el modelo TUV y el instrumento GUV de 0.8776 (p>0.05) y se pudo validar el modelo TUV de la variación horaria de la radiación UV en esta ubicación polar, y por ende comprobar la influencia de los aerosoles disminuyen un 30% del Índice UV por cada unidad de EOA. Conclusiones:Esto permitió implementar el modelo TUV para pronosticar la climatología anual de la RUV en la ECAMP como la influencia de los aerosoles en la RUV que incide en las regiones polares.

TEMA: as emissões otoacústicas (EOA) são consideradas como o principal método dos programas de triagem auditiva neonatal (PTAN). OBJETIVO: analisar as EOA de neonatos avaliados em PTAN. MÉTODO: foi realizada captação das EOA por transiente em 1000 lactentes. Os dados foram analisados por modelo de análise de variância multivariada (Manova). RESULTADOS: foram calculadas tabelas de referência para os níveis das EOA geral e por banda de freqüência, segundo o gênero e a orelha. A duração do exame na maternidade foi menor do que no ambulatório. CONCLUSÃO: o nível das EOA foi influenciado pelo gênero e orelha, exceto para 0,7kHz, porém não foi observada diferença entre as respostas dos neonatos sem e com risco auditivo.

Abstract:
El presente trabajo está referido a los primeros resultados obtenidos sobre marcado y recaptura en el gatuzo, Mustelus schmitti, como medio para reconocer sus desplazamientos y migraciones en el Ecosistema Costero Bonaerense (ECB). Este tiburón es relevante no sólo por su gran abundancia a lo largo del ECB sino también por su importancia comercial para la flota pesquera de arrastre argentina. Entre noviembre de 2010 y mayo 2011 se marcaron 2.483 ejemplares cerca de Monte Hermoso, dentro del sector marino conocido como “El Rincón”, utilizando como plataforma una embarcación de la flota artesanal. Se logró recuperar 43 individuos entre 2010 y 2013. A partir del análisis de los individuos recapturados se señalaron los patrones de movimientos, migración, distribución espacial y temporal en el ECB, y además se discutieron y relacionaron dichos patrones con el ciclo de vida. Los resultados pusieron en evidencia la utilización por parte del gatuzo de áreas extensas, mayoritariamente costeras, sin alta afinidad con áreas particulares. Este es el modelo tradicional propuesto para tiburones pequeños como el gatuzo. Sin embargo, la modalidad reproductiva indicaría un ajuste al modelo señalado para grandes tiburones. Por lo tanto, el gatuzo en su comportamiento parece contener aspectos correspondientes a ambas modalidades con fidelidad por los sitios de reproducción pero sin evidencias de filopatría.

Al hilo de los resultados de un reciente estudio sobre las capacidades bilingües en shipibo y español de alumnos escolarizados en una escuela de educación intercultural bilingüe (EIB) de Perú, en este artículo se abordan algunas de los interrogantes que plantea el funcionamiento de la EIB. Se aborda ese tema desde la óptica de las lenguas minorizadas y su lugar en una educación plurilingüe y contrasta los pasos dados por la EIB peruana con la experiencia de revitalización de una lengua minoritaria europea (euskera o vasco) fijándose en los efectos del uso de las lenguas vehiculares en la escuela. Desde un enfoque comunicativo de las lenguas que tiene el bi/plurilingüismo como finalidad, el trabajo incide en los retos que tiene la educación plurilingüe para optimizar los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje de las lenguas en contacto y reflexiona sobre la importancia de evaluar con rigurosidad tanto el desarrollo de las capacidades bilingües de los alumnos como los resultados de un modelo educativo como la EIB y sus efectos en la revitalización lingüística. Concluye subrayando la necesidad de fomentar las actitudes positivas hacia la diversidad lingüística y cultural, así como la de elaborar herramientas didácticas y promover experiencias piloto que contribuyan al desarrollo de la EIB.

Abstract:
Se evaluó la producción y calidad de la leche, y se hizo un análisis económico al suplementar vacas Holstein con ensilaje de maíz (EMA) o ensilaje botón de oro (EBO). Se evaluó la producción de leche/vaca/día sin ajustar y ajustada al 4% de grasa, la calidad composicional de la leche (% y kg/vaca/d), la eficiencia alimenticia (EA), la eficiencia energética (EE) y se realizó un análisis económico. La información se analizó con un diseño de sobre cambio, utilizando un modelo mixto mediante la librería lmer del programa lme4 de R. Las vacas suplementadas con EBO y EMA tuvieron un consumo similar de materia seca, pero la producción de leche, los kg de grasa y proteína/vaca/día, EA, el costo de producción del litro de leche y la diferencia ventas-costos por vaca/día estuvieron a favor de EBO, siendo una alternativa viable productiva y económicamente, en la suplementación de vacas lactantes en trópico alto.

La cultura analógica prevalece en las escuelas de la era digital, lo que se traduce en una dificultad del modelo de educación formal reglada para proporcionar a los alumnos los conocimientos y saberes prácticos necesarios para adaptarse con éxito al mundo que les toca vivir. Tomando como referencia las recomendaciones de la NCTE para reorientar el modelo educativo y cubrir esas carencias, se analiza cómo el uso que los más jóvenes hacen de los smartphones contribuye en buena medida a paliar esta deficiencia. Mediante la integración de este dispositivo en las aulas y dando más peso al uso de la fotografía digital en el proceso de aprendizaje se podría dar una respuesta inmediata y factible a esta situación de desfase.

Abstract:
Esse texto é fruto de uma pesquisa em andamento e tem como objetivo pensar a trajetória da EAB - Escola Agrícola de São Bento das Lages, situada na Vila de São Francisco do Conde, recôncavo baiano, na segunda metade do século XIX. A escola agrícola instituiu-se como espaço de desenvolvimento científico em torno da agricultura, destinou-se a formação de engenheiros agrônomos e de operariado agrícola “mais competente” e modernizado. O artigo pretende discutir a construção da escola, estrutura de funcionamento e ensino, dando destaque para o curso elementar na primeira fase da EAB, entendendo-o como um projeto de instrução pública para o pós-abolição. Evidenciar tal contexto permite a problematização de experiências na Vila de São Francisco do Conde, bem como historicidades de agentes que participaram em diferentes âmbitos desse modelo escolar.

Abstract:
El presente estudio explora la participación ocupacional en el área de educación de niños con Epidermólisis Bullosa (E.B.) en sus tipos distrófica y de la unión, los cuales, dada su condición de salud general son considerados como estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales (NEE). Con el objetivo de conocer si la integración es satisfactoria y cuenta con los apoyos necesarios, se realiza mediante un estudio de tipo exploratorio cualitativo, un análisis de tres casos según criterios de inclusión establecidos. A través de un análisis pragmático de los datos obtenidos durante el trabajo de campo se realiza el perfil ocupacional inicial del niño (S.C.O.P.E.), instrumento propio del Modelo de Ocupación Humana, desprendiéndose de éste conclusiones, que se estructuran en base al mismo modelo. La importancia y relevancia de estudiar esta temática está dada por la pertinencia de la intervención y el aporte que la Terapia Ocupacional puede brindar a las personas con E.B., que si bien desde el punto de vista epidemiológico tiene una baja incidencia en la población general, quienes la padecen requieren de un abordaje multidisciplinar e integral, dado por la complejidad de la condición de salud y el impacto que esta provoca en todas las áreas de la ocupación.

Abstract:
La stima dei parametri fisici degli eventi di onde gravitazionali rilevati da LIGO e Virgo si basa su modelli di forme d'onda analitiche, eventualmente calibrati da simulazioni di Relatività Numerica. Il modello EOB (Effective-One-Body) è uno dei principali modelli analitici per l’analisi dei segnali gravitazionali emessi da buchi neri e stelle di neutroni. La qui presente tesi, a grandi linee, è un lavoro di “potenziamento” di questo modello, e in particolare I) lo miglioriamo nei suoi vari settori, con l'obiettivo finale di costruire un modello che includa tutte le informazioni fisiche disponibili: in particolare, quelle riguardanti i multipoli subdominanti, utili per ottimizzare la risoluzione angolare dell'analisi dati degli esperimenti di onde gravitazionali [ 1, 4, 5, 7]; II) usarlo per sviluppare approssimanti Post-Newtoniani veloci, di ordine elevato, molto utili per le analisi bayesiane inerenti le pipeline LIGO e Virgo [3]; III) utilizzarlo per studiare, nel caso delle stelle binarie di neutroni, l’influenza degli effetti di self-spin sulla loro forma d'onda [2]. Uno degli elementi costitutivi centrali del modello EOB è la forma d'onda multipolare Post-Newtoniana (PN) fattorizzata e circolarizzata introdotta in [8] per binarie senza spin. In[4], estendiamo fino a l= 6 (cioè a multipoli alti) l'approccio di Nagar e Shah [9], poiché ha un accordo con la relatività numerica (utilizzata come punto di riferimento per la calibrazione) migliore del suo precursore [8]. In [4], questo approccio è stato aggiornato al caso di una particella rotante intorno ad un buco nero di Schwartzschild. Lo stesso approccio è stato altresì adattato in [5] al fine di aggiornare il modello EOB quadrupolare TEOBResumS, un codice C ++ [1] disponibile nella LIGO Advanced Library (LAL) e citato nel catalogo [10], a una sua naturale versione multipolare [7]. Fatto salvo ciò, mediante la tecnica di espansione EOB-PN definita in [11], il lavoro svolto in [3] conduce a un approssimante fenomenologico di ordine 5.5PN veloce e preciso che, includendo più informazioni sulle correzioni test-particle rispetto a quello standard a 3.5PN, ottimizza la stima dei parametri di marea dell'analisi dei dati BNS. Nel lavoro [2], incorporiamo in TEOBResumS i termini di self-spin dipendenti dall’equazione di stato (EOS) all'ordine next-to-next-to-leading (NNLO), insieme ad altri effetti (bilineari, cubici e quartici) al leading-order (LO). Qui, con la stessa cassetta degli attrezzi usata in[3], studiamo la dipendenza degli effetti di self spin legati all’EOS, e dimostriamo che le correzioni di ordine NLO e NNLO, a livello di interazione monopolo-quadrupolo, producono effetti di accelerazione di fase più marcati rispetto al corrispondente contributo LO; oltre a questo, si osserva altresì che una volta inclusi gli effetti di auto spin al NLO (3PN) nel Taylor F2, essi sono più attrattivi rispetto a quanto previsto dalla corrispondente descrizione EOB. Infine, abbiamo ottenuto un approssimante TaylorF2 che fornisce una rappresentazione analiticamente semplificata, ma fedele all'EOB, degli effetti di self-spin (effetti di coda inclusi) che può essere utile per migliorare gli attuali modelli di forma d'onda PN (o fenomenologici) per l’inspiralling di stelle di neutroni. The parameter estimation of gravitational wave events detected by LIGO and Virgo relies on analytical waveforms models, possibly calibrated (or informed) by Numerical Relativity simulations. The effective-one-body (EOB) model is one of the main analytical models available that can be efficiently used for analyzing both black hole and neutron star binaries. In this script we I) improve it in its various sectors, with the final aim to build a model that includes all the physical information available: in particular, the higher subdominant multipoles information, that is useful to optimize GW data analysis’ angular resolution [1, 4, 5, 7]; II) use it to develop high-order fast PN approximants for Bayesian analysis in LIGO and Virgo pipelines [3]; III) use it to study the self-spin effects of binary Neutron Stars on their own waveform [2]. One of the central building blocks of the EOB model is the factorized and resummed (circularized) multipolar post-Newtonian (PN) waveform introduced in Ref. [8] for nonspinning binaries. In Ref. [4], we extend up to ` = 6 (i.e. to high multipoles) the resummation approach of Nagar and Shah [9], since it has a better analytical/numerical relativity agreement than its precursor [8]. Ref. [4], updated to the case of a spinning particle of Schwartzschild problem in Ref. [5], has been used in order to update the spin-aligned, quadrupolar EOB model TEOBResumS, a C++ code [1] available in the LIGO Advanced Library (LAL) and cited in the GW catalogue [10], to a multipolar version [7]. Therefore, following the EOB-PN expansion technique defined in [11], Ref. [3] leads to a fast and accurate 5.5PN phenomenological approximant that, by including more point-mass information than the standard 3.5PN one, optimizes the tidal-parameter estimation of BNS data analysis. In Ref [2], we incorporate the EOS-dependent selfspin terms in TEOBResumS at next-to-next-to-leading (NNLO) order, together with other (bilinear, cubic and quartic) nonlinear-in-spin effects (at leading order, LO). Here, with the same toolbox used in Ref. [3], we study the EOS dependence of the self-spin effects and show that the next-to-leading order (NLO) and NNLO monopole-quadrupole corrections yield increasingly phase-accelerating effects compared to the corresponding LO contribution; that the standard TaylorF2 post-Newtonian (PN) treatment of NLO (3PN) EOS-dependent self-spin effects makes their action stronger than the corresponding EOB description; and, finally, we obtain a tail-augmented TaylorF2 approximant that yields an analytically simplified, EOB-faithful, representation of the EOS-dependent self-spin phasing that can be useful to improve current PN-based (or phenomenological) waveform models for inspiralling neutron star binaries. Abstract:
Efterfrågan på elfordon växer snabbt, med en ökning i Europa från 734 nyregistrerade elbilar 2010 till 550 000 år 2019 (Europeiska miljöbyrån, 2020). Medan denna trend fortsätter följer efterfrågan på litiumjonbatterier (LIB) en liknande väg. Europeiska unionen visar stort intresse för marknadsutvecklingen eftersom elektrifieringen av transporter är ett viktigt delmål på vägen mot noll-utsläpp av växthusgaser. EU utvecklar därför ett nytt direktiv för batterier där EV-batterier (EVB) har mer fokus än i det tidigare batteridirektivet från 2006. I det nya direktivet kommer EVB-tillverkaren att ha ett utökat ansvar, vilket innebär att den ansvarar för de EVB:er den för till marknaden i slutet av livslängden (EOL). Denna studie syftar till att undersöka den aktuella försörjningskedjan och designen av EVB:er, liksom de nuvarande och kommande tekniska lösningarna för återvinning av EVB:er. Detta för att sedan diskutera hur EVB-tillverkare ska agera gällande återvinning som svar på det nya EUdirektivet om batterier. Studien avgränsas till supply-chain och materialförsörjning; hur man utformar EVB:er för återvinning; och de nuvarande tekniska lösningarna för EVB:er som nått EOL. Grunden till studien är till fullo genomgång av vetenskapliga publikationer, tekniska rapporter och prognoser för marknads- och teknisk utveckling. Resultaten av den inlästa litteraturen visar en allmän enighet om att det kommer uppstå brist på litium och andra kritiska material för EVB-tillverkning vilket i slutändan kommer att leda till volatila priser. Det uppdaterade batteridirektivet är konstaterat att sätta tydliga mål för högre nivåer av återvunnet material i nya EVB:er, men det kommer också sätta tydliga mål att EVB:er som kan återanvändas i andra applikationer än EV:er måste återanvändas fram till EOL. Man har dragit slutsatsen att design för återvinning kommer att vara viktigt för att göra återvinningsprocessen lönsam. Vi har diskuterat möjligheterna och utmaningarna som leasing av EVB:er ger EVB-tillverkare i samband med leasing av EVB:er. Leasingen ger EVB-tillverkaren möjligheten att säkra EVB:er ochdärmed batterimaterial genom återvinning vid EOL. Positioneringen i värdekedjan har också diskuterats. Vi ser att det finns en uppenbar avvägning mellan att integrera uppströms och att förbli flexibel. The demand of electric vehicles (EV) grows rapidly, with an increase in Europe from 734 newly registered EVs in 2010, to 550 000 in 2019 (European Environment Agency, 2020). While this trend continues, the demand of lithium ion batteries (LIB) follows a similar path. With electrified transportation being an important sub-goal on the road to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions, the European Union shows great interest for the development of the market. The EU is therefore developing a new directive for batteries in which EV batteries (EVB) have more focus than in theearlier Batteries Directive from 2006. In the new directive, producers of EVBs will have an extended responsibility, meaning that they are responsible for the batteries at end of life (EOL). This study aims at investigating the current supply-chain and design of EVBs, as well as the current and upcoming technical solutions for recycling of EVBs, in order to discuss how EVB manufacturers can and should act regarding recycling, as a response to the new EU directive on batteries. The study is delimited to supply-chain and material sourcing; how to design batteries for recycling; and the current technical solutions for EOL batteries. The research is solely based on literature review of scientific publications, technical reports and forecasts of market and technical development. The results of the literature shows a general consensus that there will be shortage of lithium andother critical materials for EVB manufacturing which ultimately will lead to unstable prices. The updated battery directive will most certainly set clear goals of higher levels of recycled material in new EVBs, but it will also implicate that batteries that can be used for other applications than EVs need to be reused until EOL. It has been concluded that designing for recycling will be importantfor making the recycling process economically viable. We have discussed the possibilities and challenges for EVB manufacturers associated with leasing EVBs as a business model where they can secure batteries and by extension material for recycling at EOL. The positioning in the value chain has also been discussed. We see that there is an apparent tradeoff between integrating upstream and remaining flexible. Integrating upstream will enable control over batteries at EOL as well as the opportunity to choose whether to sell the recycled lithium or to use it in their own production.

Devido à grande competitividade da área de atuação, a indústria aeronáutica tem voltado sua atenção a sistemas deste tipo com a finalidade de maximizar a vida útil de seus equipamentos, aumentar sua disponibilidade e reduzir os seus custos de operação e manutenção, otimizando assim a eficiência operacional de suas aeronaves. O presente trabalho apresenta uma metodologia de prognóstico de falhas baseada em modelo para o sistema do estabilizador horizontal da aeronave EMBRAER 190. Para realizar a previsão do tempo de vida útil remanescente do sistema, esta metodologia utiliza a modelagem do mesmo e o monitoramento de resíduos através de equações de paridade. O pós-processamento destes resíduos permite avaliar a severidade atual da condição de degradação do sistema e a estimação do tempo para se atingir a severidade máxima projetada em que a falha é declarada. Os resultados obtidos utilizando-se o modelo do sistema do estabilizador horizontal e a inserção das falhas simuladas típicas mostram o grande potencial para a utilização de modelos, quando possível, no desenvolvimento de um processo de PHM de alto desempenho.

Il presente elaborato è stato redatto all’interno di DMM S.p.A., azienda specializzata nella lavorazione del metallo. Dopo un periodo iniziale finalizzato alla conoscenza della realtà aziendale, si è deciso di effettuare una mappatura dei materiali acquistati dall’azienda con lo scopo di identificare gli articoli o le categorie di prodotto con maggior valore a livello di volumi e di costi. Durante questo lavoro, si è constatato che la maggior parte degli articoli non aveva associata una corrispondente categoria merceologica; si è perciò deciso di risolvere questo problema, partendo dalla razionalizzazione del sistema di codifica aziendale. In particolare, è stata ricercata una correlazione tra il dizionario di codifica degli articoli di acquisto e le categorie merceologiche già presenti all’interno del gestionale aziendale, seguendo una logica definita a priori e con l’obiettivo di cercare di semplificare l’inserimento automatico della categoria associata al prodotto. La correlazione è stata fatta in modo tale da far corrispondere ciascuna codifica di un articolo a una e una sola categoria, apportando delle piccole modifiche sia nel dizionario di codifica sia nella lista di categorie merceologiche già presenti. In seguito, si è deciso di verificare le politiche di lotto e le tempistiche di riordino degli articoli che si portano dietro la maggior parte dei costi; è stato quindi necessario stimare i parametri fondamentali per questo calcolo. In particolare, per la stima del costo di emissione di un ordine è stato utilizzato un metodo, che prende il nome di “activity based costing”, che fornisce dati sull’effettiva incidenza dei costi associati a ciascun prodotto o servizio. I risultati ottenuti consentono ora all’azienda di modificare i propri lotti di riordino per ridurre il più possibile i costi a essi associati. Inoltre, il lavoro svolto potrà tornare utile all’azienda qualora necessitasse di implementare un metodo da poter estendere ad altri articoli o categorie.

BACKGROUND: Exercise on Prescription (EoP) means that a doctor writes out a customized form of exercise to the patient instead of medicine, or in combination with medication. The activity becomes a part of the treatment. Since many today do not follow recommendations for physical activity occurs in the long term a number of public health diseases. EoP promotes health and prevents disease. AIM: The aim of this paper is toexamine whether EoP from a patient perspective perceived to be an efficient and effective method of treatment. METHOD: A qualitative approach was used. Semi-structured interviews were conducted by telephone. The target audience was adults over age 18 who received EoP. RESULTS: The findings of the interviews were that the experience of EoP was largely positive and that most understood why it was important to have physical activity. A visit to a health care raised the direct motivation to exercise, but declined unless follow-up occurred. Several had been needed more help and advice from a contact person or coordinator that the patient could turn to. CONCLUSION: By getting more help with motivation probably more of the respondents had received better results from EoP.
BAKGRUND: Fysisk aktivitet på recept (FaR) innebär att en läkare skriver ut en anpassad träningsform till patienten istället för medicin, eller i kombination med medicin. Aktiviteten blir en del i behandlingen. Eftersom många idag inte följer rekommendationerna för fysisk aktivitet uppstår på sikt en rad folkhälsosjukdomar. FaR främjar hälsan och förebygger sjukdom. SYFTE: Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka huruvida FaR ur ett patientperspektiv upplevs vara en effektiv och fungerande behandlingsmetod. METOD: En kvalitativ ansats har använts. Semistrukturerade intervjuer har genomförts via telefon. Målgruppen var vuxna personer över 18 år som fått FaR. RESULTAT: Det som framkom av intervjuerna var att upplevelsen av FaR i stort sett var positiv och att de flesta förstod varför det var viktigt med fysisk aktivitet. Besöket hos sjukvården höjde direkt motivationen till att träna, men sjönk om inte uppföljning skedde. Trots den positiva upplevelsen så hade det i flera fall behövts mer råd och hjälp. Det saknades i många fall en kontaktperson eller samordnare som patienten kunde vända sig till. SLUTSATS: Genom att få mer hjälp med motivation och stöttning hade troligen flera av respondenterna fått bättre resultat av FaR.

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to identify, design and apply a method for operational production planning. The purpose of the method is that it takes into account the respective demand patterns of the articles, which determines the choice of calculation model and that the method also takes into account the production capacity limitation set. The result can be applied as a basis for decision-making for small and medium-sized manufacturing companies that are facing an expansion. Objective: The following research question was the main objective of this study.How would an appropriate operational planning method be shaped according to the specific characteristics of the products and their diverse demand patterns in small and medium-sized manufacturing companies with capacity limiters? Method: The study is a qualitative one-case study with quantitative elements. The empirical data used in the study was collected through unstructured and semi-structured interviews where the snowball effect has been applied and also observations have been performed. Results: The study has enabled a higher degree of utilization of the capacity limitation set, by developing standardized block sizes. The first step was to identify demand patterns into which the studied articles could be categorized. The demand pattern was applied in order to be able to apply the correct calculation model to the correct article. The calculation model was then standardized by applying PoT to be able to obtain standardized block sizes. The method was illustrated in a Gantt chart to demonstrate its usefulness.
Syfte: Studiens syfte är att identifiera, utforma och applicera en metod för operativ produktionsplanering. Ändamålet med metoden är att den tar hänsyn till artiklarnas respektive efterfrågemönster vilket avgör valet av beräkningsmodell samt att metoden tar även hänsyn till produktionens kapacitetsbegränsning ställare. Resultatet kan appliceras som beslutsunderlag för små samt medelstora tillverkande företag som står inför en expansion. Forskningsfråga: Följande forskningsfråga var objektet för denna studie. Hur skulle en lämplig operativ planering formas utefter artiklarnas specifika egenskaper och deras olikartade efterfrågemönster hos små och medelstora tillverkande företag med kapacitetsbegränsningen ställare? Metod: Studien är en kvalitativ en-fallstudie med kvantitativa inslag. Den empiriska data som använts i studie än insamlad genom ostrukturerade samt semistrukturerade intervjuer där snöbollseffekten tillämpats och även observationer har utförts. Resultat: Studien har möjliggjort en högre utnyttjandegrad av kapacitetsbegränsningen ställare, genom att framta standardiserade blockstorlekar. Första steget var att identifiera efterfrågemönster som de studerade artiklarna kunnat kategoriseras in i. Efterfrågemönstret har tillämpats för att kunna använda rätt beräkningsmodell på rätt artikel. Beräkningsmodellen standardiserades därefter genom tillämpning av PoT för att kunna erhålla standardiserade blockstorlekar. Metoden illustrerades i ett Gantt-schema för att påvisa dess användbarhet.

O surgimento das redes ópticas elásticas (EON) trouxe novas concepções nas operações das redes de núcleo, melhorando a flexibilidade da rede e sua eficiência no uso dos recursos. O roteamento e atribuição do espectro (Routing and Spectrum Assignment - RSA), que é responsável pela alocação de recursos, é um dos principais problemas das redes EON. Recentemente algumas abordagens baseadas em modelo de grafo auxiliar estão sendo propostas como soluções RSA. Estes modelos utilizam esquemas de reserva de espectro para reduzir a probabilidade de exaustão da rede. Embora essas abordagens proporcionem uma baixa probabilidade de bloqueio na rede, elas não levam em consideração o gasto energético provocado por esses esquemas. Este trabalho propõe uma nova abordagem RSA baseada em grafo auxiliar que melhora o consumo de energia da rede sem perdas na taxa de bloqueio de largura de banda. Os resultados numéricos mostram que a proposta apresentada pode fornecer uma redução de até 54% na taxa de bloqueio de banda e uma economia energética de até 10% em comparação com as abordagens da literatura.

EJB (Enterprise JavaBeans) spec does not describe high availability as one of its properties. If the application server fails, the service remains unavailable while it recovers. Some EJB server vendors claim to provide this desirable property implementing server replicas through centralized protocols. Unfortunately, these protocols could lead to an unavailable service if the coordinator server crashes. We are presenting a new architecture aiming high available EJB servers based on distributed concepts. Our replicas are modeled as state machines synchronized by group communication primitives. We achieve high availability to EJB application servers running stateful and stateless session beans.

Abstract To prolong the field life of The Suphanburi oil field, an additional enhanced oil recovery (EOR) process is required. Dynamic reservoir modeling will need to be performed to maximize the EOR strategy. However, achieving the right result is a challenge as the field has a complex depositional environment and high heterogeneity, resulting in a high uncertainty of the dynamic reservoir model. A new reservoir model is proposed and created. The new model has been purposely built to capture the heterogeneity of the field by incorporating the newly interpreted geological concept of the field, together with quantitative seismic interpretation results. First, the new geological concept is interpreted from well data into "depofacies". The depofacies describe both depositional environment and lithofacies. Next, quantitative seismic interpretation is performed to capture the spatial variation of the reservoir and the predefined facies. Lastly, the reservoir model is built by first generating the depofacies. The reservoir or sandstone is then modeled specifically into each pre-modeled depofacies. As a result, the new reservoir model can better capture reservoir heterogeneity, resulting in a better EOR strategy.

The goal of this paper is to describe an advanced method of a crack detection, a new way to localize the crack position and to estimate the intensity of the depth with reference to a rotating shaft. As a first step, the shaft is physically modelled with a finite element method as usual and the dynamic mathematical model is derived from it using the Hamilton-principle and in this way the system is modelled by various subsystems. The equations of motion with crack is established by adaption of the local stiffness change through breathing and gaping from the crack to the equation of motion with undamaged shaft. This is supposed to be regarded as reference for the given system. Based on the fictitious model of the time behaviour induced from vibration phenomena measured at the bearings, a nonlinear State Observer is designed in order to detect the crack on the shaft. This is elementary NL-observer (EOB). Using the elementary observer, an Estimator (Observer) Bank is established and arranged at the certain position on the shaft. In case a crack is found and its position is known, the procedure for the estimation of the depth is going to begin.

Abstract The success of supercritical CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) cannot be duplicated if the cost of CO2 transposition and processing becomes prohibitive. Research results of the in-situ CO2 EOR (ICE) approach offered a potential technology for many waterflooded stripper wells that lack access to affordable CO2 sources. Previously the ICE synergetic mechanisms were only qualitatively attributed to oil swelling and viscosity reduction due to the preferential partition of CO2 into the oleic phase. This study aims to quantify the contributions to recovery factors from several plausible mechanisms with numerical modeling and simulation. First, the urea reaction was modeled as the CO2 generating chemical decomposing to CO2 and ammonia in the reservoir conditions. The CO2 partitions into oil, which leads to the reaction continuation to generate more CO2. The resulting ammonia largely left in water may further react with certain crudes to generate surfactants, thus, decrease the oil/water interfacial tension (IFT). It is expected that the oil containing CO2 also has a lower IFT with water. The reaction kinetics under different temperatures were incorporated into the numerical model. A numerical model featuring the synergetic mechanisms was built including stoichiometry and kinetics of urea reaction, oil swelling effect, oil viscosity reduction, and IFT reduction effect on the relative permeabilities. The laboratory experiments, pore volume injection versus oil saturation were history matched for three different oils including Dodecane, Earlsboro oil, and DeepStar oil. The phase behavior was modeled with the equation of state (EOS) under different mole fractions of CO2. The reaction kinetics were also modified to history match the laboratory experiment. The estimated reduction of oil viscosity was calculated, 76% for Earlsboro oil, 91% in DeepStar oil, and 75% in dodecane oil. The oil swelling factors ranged from 1.60% to 19% in the three lab models, which translates to the recovery factor of oil. The endpoints of relative permeability were modified to account for the recovery contribution to the IFT and viscosity reduction. The impact of reaction kinetics on oil swelling and recovery factor was also determined, and they are not numerically close to reaction kinetics used in the lab cases. The matched reaction kinetics, activation energy and reaction frequency factor for the dodecane laboratory experiment were 91.80 kJ/gmol and 6.5E+09 min−1. The study concluded that the incremental recovery due to oil swelling ranges between 3.16% and 18.30%, and then from 12.91% to 41.59% is due to IFT reduction for all the cases. The relative permeability and urea reaction kinetics remained the most uncertain parameters during history matching and modeling the ICE synergetic mechanisms.
