Abstract:
The research presented in this paper is aimed at defining a model that enables the management of the relationship between private vehicles and public transport applying the available instruments of city transport policy such as parking policy and public transport policy measures. Statistical data used for modelling is sourced from the database in a wide range of EU cities. The target model was developed in the form of stepwise regression analysis. Very favourable statistical results were obtained, and the subsequent tests on the city of Novi Sad (250000 inhabitants) led to the conclusion that the obtained results were suitable for implementation in practice. The results of the implemented procedure are of great importance for the enhancement of the existing transport policies in cities, as they enable the development of strategies for finding combinations of instruments that would bring the transport system and urban environment into a desired-viable rather than consequential condition.

Abstract:
Abstract The goal of this paper is to present the results of a corpus analysis aimed at identifying n-grams (i.e., lexical sequences) with the modals can, could and be able to. While details about the functional profile of these verbs are still being discussed (e.g., Leclercq & Depraetere 2022), it is surprising that relatively scarce attention is given to the lexico-grammatical patterns in which they are found and which come with their own semantic and pragmatic features. Using the methodology developed in Cappelle and Depraetere (2016b), a total of 1,640 n-grams were extracted from COCA (Davies 2008-). A number of these patterns are discussed and, in keeping with the approach developed in Construction Grammar (Hilpert 2019), it is shown that an enhanced understanding of these verbs can be achieved when viewed as part of more complex networks of constructions.

Abstract:
The subject matter of this study pertains to the population of Aizawl city, Mizoram. The data is based on the usage of public or private transportation by individuals irrespective of their ownership of private vehicles. The sample includes respondents who are teachers,high-school and college teachers taken separately, of all age groups, different educational backgrounds, as also different income levels who are mobile, belonging to Aizawl city and around. The study examines only the demand side factors influencing travel decisions. The supply side aspects, relating to public transports are taken as given. A study of this kind is beneficial to many parties like the government in its policy implication and also to the private entities as it is directed towards reduced travel expense. Insight of the mechanisms of the travel decision process will benefit governments to formulate policies that better address consumers needs in transport. The study will also enable public transport managers to understand their consumers needs preference and psyche. Furthermore, since no study of this nature has been conducted for the city of Aizawl, the present study will contribute to the birth of a recorded empirical work. It will also lead to further, deeper, more significant research in the area. This study attempts to contribute to the understanding of how local public transport demand is affected by different factors. The focus of this study is to examine the cause of preference of public transportation over private or vice versa by passengers. Considering the increased use of public transportation by individuals and especially by those who also own private vehicles, it is important to understand what causes this preference of one means over the other and the personal benefits involved with it. Careful analysis also shows that the respondents prefer private transportation to public. The logit model shows that of the variables affecting transport mode choice by individual among high school teachers that is most significant is accessibility and flexibility of the private transportation. Also the variables affecting transport mode choice by individual among college teachers that is most significant is time issues secondly, accessibility and flexibility of the private transportation which was also observed in the preceding sections of the chapter The small sample size, with little variability across the quantitative variables could be the reason of the low significance, yet high odd ratios.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Modal models are commonly encountered forms of dynamic characterization of mechanical structures. They are applied in machine-condition diagnosing as well as in monitoring processes. In research practice the most frequently applied method is Experimental Modal Analysis, and in exploitation - Operational Modal Analysis. Difficulties associated with the EMA and OMA have contributed to the increase of OMAX model applications, especially in case of energetic machines. Theoretical assumptions related with modal analysis are very strong. In reality when big and heavy structures are considered often those assumptions are not fulfilled. In the paper such situations are considered and practical solutions are showed.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to determine the assessment of capital structure and working capital management at the Mukti Singaraja Savings and Loan Cooperative. The data collection techniques used in this study used documentation techniques, namely financial statement data from 2014-2019. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive technique by calculating financial ratios first which is followed up with the analysis. The results of this study explain that the working capital turnover ratio has been very productive from year to year because the ratio is always above 100%. The cash turnover ratio is very efficient because the value of this ratio is above 100% even though the dominant cash turnover ratio value has decreased. The management of accounts receivable ratio which is assessed from the turnover of accounts receivable is very efficient because the value of accounts receivable turnover is always above the standard even though the dominant accounts receivable turnover ratio has decreased. The results of this study explain that the capital structure ratio based on assessment standards (Regulation of the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia No. 06 / Per / M.KUKM / V / 2006) is classified as bad. It can be seen that the DAR ratio value from year to year is always above the standard (> 80%), but it is always followed by an increase in the achievement of SHU. The assessment of the DER ratio is not good because the value of the DER ratio is always above the standard (> 200%) but this condition is always followed by an increase in the achievement of SHU

Amie Thomasson points out that the rationalist approaches to modal epistemology usually face the challenges of integration problem and reliability problem, due to their descriptive and realistic assumptions about modal facts and modal properties.Thomasson instead defends a modal normativism position. George Bealer's theory of modal reliabilism can be seen as a more complete approach to modal normativsim. It can further explain the conundrum of integration problem and reliability problem. Therefore, the modal reliabilism theory as a modal normativism approach is worth defending.

Abstract:
All pseudo-Schell model sources have been shown to possess the same continuous set of circularly symmetric modes, all of them presenting a conical wavefront. For keeping energy at a finite level, the mode amplitude along the radial coordinate is modulated by a decreasing exponential function. A peculiar property of such modes is that they exist in the Laplace transform’s realm. After a brief discussion of the near-zone, we pass to the far-zone, where the field can be evaluated in closed form. The corresponding features of the intensity distribution are discussed.

This work focused on quantitative optimization of the gyroscope, which is still blank for such gyroscope. The modal analysis by the finite element method (FEM) was firstly conducted. A set of quantitative indicators were developed to optimize the operation mode. By FEM, the harmonic analysis was conducted to find the way to efficiently actuate the operational mode needed. The optimal configuration of driving electrodes was obtained. At last, the Coriolis analysis was conducted to show the relation between angular velocity and differential output voltage by the Coriolis force under working condition. The results obtained in this paper provide theoretical basis for realizing this novel kind of micromachined gyroscope.
