Thesis, Paris Est, 2016. http://www.theses.fr/2016PESC1170.

Abstract:
This thesis focuses on hybridity between virtual and corporeal mobility. We study the effects of growing connectivity on daily mobility, and especially on commuting. ‘Connected’ mobility is characterised by the large-scale diffusion of smartphones and the improvement of broadband connection in public transportation. ‘Connected’ mobility allows travellers to use a wider range of on-trip activities and to receive personalised information about their current or future trips. The main issue is to determine how public transportation users use ‘connected’ mobility to their advantage to soften daily time-space constraints. Three hypotheses led this research. The first is the hypothesis of the valorisation of travel time through the use of ICT devices such as smartphones. The second is about the reshaping of mobility time-space through connectivity, regarding the activities practised by travellers in their daily lives. The third concerns the better control of daily mobility allowed by the use of mobile apps that provide personalised information. The study is based on two surveys. The first occurred during the years 2013 and 2014. It is composed of in-depth semi-directive interviews. The second is a large-scale survey led by on-line questionnaires in 2015. The main results support the idea that the growing connectivity of mobility underlines a banalisation of mobility. The use of smartphones does not clearly imply a greater valorisation of travel time, but softens the negative effects on travel comfort due to the variations of travel conditions. Moreover, the growing connectivity of mobility time-space allows the travellers to import in this specific time-space their daily activities. Finally, the mobile apps providing personalised information about mobility authorise travel optimisation but also secure the daily trips, improving the feeling of control on mobility

Abstract:
Metro systems are responsible for the commutes of several million people daily. Stations, as spaces designed for mobility, are transition zones. Their complexity (diverse configurations, train movements in different directions and rushed commuters), environments become somewhat confusing places for the visually impaired. Metro operating companies have been receiving requests from associations that represent the visually impaired people, demanding smartphone applications or the use of dedicated devices to aid them when using the network. However, existing legislation and standards don\'t provide requirements for such systems, and there is no consensus, among professionals or academics, for their design and usage. This research started by examining the ways found by the visually impaired to interact with space, assessing their abilities, limitations and worries, in consideration of their cognitive variables, within the Sao Paulo metro users. It has also assessed the practical use of a specific information/navigation system called Navmetro®, in use at the Porto (Portugal) metro. A multidisciplinary approach was used, by means of qualitative research and the use of data collection tools such as voluntary participant observation and interviews; simultaneously, a qualitative questionnaire was applied for data supplementation. Interviews focused on people with direct operational experience on the metro system, experts in station/train design, guidance and mobility teachers and, most importantly, frequent users. Data obtained in field work was cross-referenced with data found in the bibliographic sources, in order to attain results that may perhaps delineate design parameters for systems able to transmit information and navigational commands in real time. Through the use of sounds and vibrations, these systems can become a precious support for guidance in metro networks. This paper presents elements that can lead to the development and improvement of assistive technologies focusing on information and navigation systems for the visually impaired people, and also to the development of similar technologies in other transportation systems.

Abstract:
The city landscape of China is undoubtedly experiencing rapid transformation. With the fast rate of urbanization it seems plausible that people will live in a vertical city served by new kinds of transportation infrastructure around the year 2050. This project studied the values of the upper middle class of migrants living in a future Shanghai. Ideation and form development resulted in an aesthetic sculpture informed by the western brand and the eastern culture. This sculpture then inspired the development of a vehicle concept that can act as mobility solution as well as an icon of quality living in the future Chinese home.

Sfikas, Georgios. "Call handling and mobility management in wireless ATM networks." Thesis, University of Surrey, 1999. http://epubs.surrey.ac.uk/844394/.

Full text
Abstract:
This thesis begins by addressing the problems and challenges faced in a multimedia, ATM compatible. Wireless LAN environment. A brief overview of the ATM will also be presented. An extension to the conventional wireless (cellular) architecture, which takes advantage of the ATM characteristics, is considered. The needs of the applications that will use such a network along with the services this network is expected to offer, are discussed. The existing wireless protocols (both in the wireless LANs and in the cellular architecture) are presented. The differences among the MAC schemes and discussion on the criteria they must satisfy to support ATM are brought up. Finally, the most promising MAC schemes are discussed in further details. Furthermore, the introduction of terminal and user mobility in an ATM LAN causes the need for modification of the existing network functions. There are new problems, associated with the mobile stations that must be addressed, such as location management, paging, registration, authentication and network security and handover implementation. Furthermore, existing functions of the fixed ATM, such as Connection Admission Control and traffic shaping need to be extended to support the requested QoS in the wireless environment. The next part of the report discusses the different types of handover mechanisms and presents possible extensions of the UNI and PNNI that support the exchange of handover messages. The concept of the Mobile Agent (MA) is also introduced and its use in the extended UNI and PNNI for handover execution, registration and location management purposes is presented. Finally, a further extension of the PNNI protocol, which could be used among the different MAs, in order to support portability across different private ATM LANs, is being discussed. Without a doubt there will be a requirement for interworking between ATM and the already established wireless networks (e.g. HIPERLAN, DECT, IEEE 802.). The use of ATM as a wireless network backbone is particularly advantageous in microcell and/or integrated voice/data scenarios, and is cost-competitive with other possible implementations. Taking that into consideration, the transmission of ATM cells over a WLAN, based on the IEEE 802.11 MAC layer has been investigated. Initially, the IEEE 802.11 MAC layer and its model (developed in BONeS software package), are being discussed. The simulation results show the existence of upper bound delays for delay sensitive applications, such as voice and video, which are not affected by the traffic load on the network. Moreover, a power saving addition to a Dynamic Time Division Multiple Access (D-TDMA) MAC protocol, suitable for ATM cell transmission, discussed in [APOS95], will be proposed. A short presentation of the MAC protocol and the proposed power saving algorithm will follow. The trade-off between the power saving gain and the size of the buffer in the Access Point (AP) are shown for different kinds of services. Finally (based on Markov chains), the calculation of the call blocking and dropping probabilities for different services in a radio environment will be addressed. This method considers both the different QoS requirements for each service and the load on the network. The results obtained with the analysis are being compared to the ones obtained from simulations.

Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this dissertation is to contribute both theoretically and empirically to the literature of regional economics. We aim to provide theoretical insights and explanations as well as interesting empirical findings which are relevant for the analyses of the regional development. Chapter two reviews the literature on new growth theory, economic geography, geography of innovation and innovation process. We illustrate connections between these strands of literature from the perspective of technological development and its diffusion. We discuss the role of innovation activity, technological development, and especially knowledge spillovers in economic growth, and clarify their microeconomic linkages to endogenous macroeconomic growth. In chapter three we shed additional light on the role of intra-regional economies of scale and inter-regional externalities in regional economic growth. Chapter provides interesting theoretical insights and explanations for the analysis of regional development. In chapters four to seven we analyse how the establishments' individual characteristics and their R&D cooperation with other firms and organizations as well as sectoral and geographical origins of their labour acquisitions affects the innovation performance of the establishments. We try to isolate the independent role on innovation performance played by knowledge transfers associated with localised human-capital mobility from those associated with inter-firm and inter-organisational tacit knowledge spillovers. No previous studies, as far as we are aware, have been able to empirically identify and distinguish in such a detailed and comprehensive manner as in this dissertation the effects of these two, qualitatively quite different types of knowledge transfer mechanisms on innovation.

Abstract:
Studies of gas phase protein complexes using mass spectrometry and ion-mobility mass spectrometry are becoming increasingly commonplace in the field of structural biology. These studies apply the combined speed, mass sensitivity and structural resolution of a single instrumental method, that of mass spectrometry. Work presented here has used a range of gas, and solution phase methods. These methods have made it possible to investigate the oligomers and structural conformations of three proteins required, within their respective organisms, to ensure viability. Mutations of the human serine protease inhibitor, α1-antitrypsin, are known to promote polymerogenic intermediates under biologically relevant conditions. Using ion-mobility mass spectrometry we have characterised the structure and stability of the K154N slow polymerisation mutant. The results obtained have shown that this mutant populates an increased stability structural intermediate upon incubation at biologically relevant temperatures. Saccharomyces cerevisiae Sgt1 dimers mediate binding between Hsp90 and Skp1, to initiate chromosome separation. Mutations of the Sgt1 dimerization domain are known to inhibit Sgt1: Skp1 binding, arresting the cell cycle at the G2/M interface. Work here has shown that this dimer is stabilised by an Ascomycota specific structural loop within the dimerisation domain, with potential contributions from other domains. Using tandem mass spectrometry, we have shown that Sgt1 dimers do not represent the structural minimum for Skp1 binding. The Escherichia coli DNA binding protein, CbpA, promotes chromosome compaction that arrests the cell cycle during the stationary phase, and phosphate starvation conditions, producing structural aggregates exceeding 60 nm. The organisation of both CbpA and DNA within these aggregates remains currently unresolved therefore, mass spectrometry combined with ion-mobility mass spectrometry has been applied to resolve these interactions. Although unsuccessful in observing gas phase CbpA-DNA oligomers using a variety of conditions and methods, investigations have produced ion-mobility constraints for computational modelling of the biologically relevant CbpA dimer.

Abstract:
This dissertation looks at three different aspects of labour mobility. The first essay examines the movements of workers between wage-employment and self-employment in the United States and the returns to various forms of experience in that context. The second essay studies the long-term unemployed in Canada, and the transitions that they make into other labour market states. The final essay deals with the implications of movements of workers between countries -- specifically, it analyzes earnings distributions to obtain a more complete picture about the declining economic fortunes of immigrants to Canada in recent times.
They key contribution of the first essay lies in the recognition that consideration must also be given to industry and occupation specific experience when studying returns to experience in the context of movements between wage and self-employment - otherwise the returns to other forms of experience will be biased. Using data from the U.S. National Longitudinal Survey of Youth, I find that past occupational experience can, among the different forms of experience, best explain the hourly rate of pay for workers, especially among the self-employed.
Using data from the Survey of Labour and Income Dynamics, the second essay examines the employment prospects of the long-term unemployed (defined as being unemployed for at least a year) in Canada, in view of what is known from the research literature in Europe. Canada has a relatively low rate of long-term unemployment when compared to most European countries, but the proportion of long-term unemployed who remain unemployed for another year or more is surprisingly close to the high European levels. Examination of the factors affecting the chances of the long-term unemployed to obtain regular employment reveals, however, that several of the factors that hinder the chances of the long-term unemployed in Europe are not major obstacles, including age, gender and immigrant status. Low skill, on the other hand, does appear to be a major contributor to very long-term unemployment in Canada as elsewhere. The findings appear to support the view of Canada as belonging firmly with the 'liberal' welfare state and labour market regimes.
The final essay studies earnings distributions of recent immigrants to Canada in 1980 and 2000, as well as those of their native-born counterparts; moreover, I make a distinction between individuals in wage work and in self-employment. Using Canadian Census data, the essay studies two aspects -- immigrant/native-born earnings gaps, and earnings inequality within the immigrant and native-born populations. With regard to the observed growth in earnings gaps, I find that changes in observed characteristics and earnings structure effects were both responsible. With regard to the observed growth in earnings inequality, I find that residual inequality was largely responsible. But while this increase in residual inequality appears to reflect the effects of comprehensive skill biased technical change among the wage-employed, this is not the case among the self-employed.

This study proposes for organizations with intensive use of knowledge, a model that predicts the employees´ mobility intentions, which includes not only the perceptions that employees have of extrinsic and intrinsic rewards received, and perceived organizational support to human capital, but also introduces the opportunity cost of the employee, as moderator of the relationship between rewards and intention to leave the organization. The data used was collected from different public and private universities in Colombia. The global model allows to proof of the existence of negative correlations between the exogenous constructs and the endogenous construct, as well as knowing the opportunity cost moderation in relations between the rewards described and intention to leave the organization. Findings suggest that in organizations with intensive use of knowledge, the perceptions that knowledge employees have, are an important predictor of intention to withdraw, therefore these perceptions could be an important input for managers, so as to devise policies and plans that include and facilitate high performance and satisfaction for high performance

Abstract:
A number of studies have investigated various visual functions of visually impaired subjects and how their visual functions relate to the subjects' ability to travel in their environment. Most studies have shown that visual field and contrast sensitivity are the most important visual factors in determining how well visually impaired subjects travel in their environment. From the outcome of the studies, some aspects of vision are known to play important roles in mobility performance of visually impaired subjects. However, in all these studies, researchers have used visually impaired subjects with differing degrees of mobility skills. The mobility performance measured in previous studies may differ among subjects depending on the level of their mobility skills rather than differences in visual function. One of the main factors which may affect subjects' mobility skills is whether or not they have had orientation and mobility (O&M) training. Anecdotal evidence reported by mobility instructors and visually impaired clients suggests that O&M instruction does improve independent travel skills. In view of the limitations of previous studies, the current study attempted to determine the effect of O&M training on vision and mobility performance of visually impaired adults. Vision and mobility performance of a group of visually impaired subjects were examined before and after O&M training. As the same group of subjects were investigated, the effects of other factors which influenced their mobility skills may be controlled. Based on the best predictors of mobility performance, vision criteria for O&M training referral were recommended. Methods. Vision and mobility performance of 2 groups of visually impaired subjects with various ocular diseases were assessed: the experimental group T who were referred and received mobility training and the control group NT with no previous mobility training and were not referred for training. Visual performances were measured binocularly as high and low contrast visual acuities, letter and edge contrast sensitivities and kinetic visual fields. The subjects' mobility performance was measured on an indoor mobility course: 1) walking efficiency was assessed as percentage preferred walking speed (PPWS) 2) mobility incidents were assessed as errors made during travel on the course. Vision and mobility performances were measured before training and approximately 4 weeks after completion of training for group T whilst group NT was assessed at two visits with a similar time period between visits as for group T. A questionnaire was administered to each group at both visits and six months after the second visit. Results. Walking efficiency of group T improved with short-term practice immediately following O&M training but there was no improvement due to long-term practice or training. On the other hand, there was no improvement in error score either due to practice or training immediately after O&M training. Error score of all subjects improved as a result of prior experience. Self-reported mobility performance did not improve immediately after O&M training but improved six months after training. Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that visual field was a significant predictor before and after O&M training; it accounted for 20.4 percent and 31.2 percent of the variance in PPWS and error score respectively before training whilst accounting for 20.0 percent and 16.8 percent of the variance in PPWS and error score respectively after training. Stepwise multiple regression analysis of groups T and NT together showed that LCV A and inferior remaining visual field were best predictors of PPWS and error score respectively; PPWS began to deteriorate when LCVA was 6/150 or worse whilst error score began to decline when inferior remaining visual field was 45 degrees radius or less (between the field extent of 225 and 315 degrees). Conclusions. Mobility performance of visually impaired adults may be improved following O&M training, however, further research needs to be conducted to ascertain the level of improvement in performance over time. Visual field was shown to play a significant role in mobility performance of visually impaired adults regardless whether or not they have had O&M training, however, further research is required to ascertain the role of LCV A in walking efficiency. Tentative criteria for O&M training referral were recommended: LCVA 61150 or worse and/or inferior remaining binocular visual field of 45 degrees or less using the target IV 4 E. However, further research is needed to ascertain if these criteria are applicable to other visually impaired groups.

Abstract:
In this thesis. theories of regional integration. particularly neofunctionalism and intergovemmentalism. are applied to a case study of the shipping sector. Actor behaviour at three levels is explored: national and European-level pressure groups. national governments. and EC institutions. These actors are constrained or empowered by a range of variables at the national. regional. and global levels. and it is the impact of these variables on agent behaviour that explains the dependent variable - - outcome of negotiations leading to elements of an EC common shipping policy. One variable has not previously been identified in the literature capital mobility. It is significant because it alters pressure group power In negotiations over certain policies. Mobile capital will not accept policies which Impose costs if they can be avoided through exit. and this entails a major limit to integrative possibilities. This limit IS likely to be increasingly significant as foreign direct investment both into and out of the EC grows.

Abstract:
This thesis examines how the village of Birzeit is made as place. The reader is taken on a tour designed to show some of the sights of Birzeit and three sets of practices that are key in forging Birzeit-as-place. The first set of practices cohere around homes: the dilapidated houses in the Old City, the modern Spanish Apartments, the frequently empty dwellings of diaspora and two destroyed homes. The second set of practices involves families: the negotiation of different distances by families stretched across continents, the extensive efforts of some families to live in close physical proximity that contrast with others who are witnessing the increasing nuclearization of family living space and attendant family practices. Thirdly, im/mobilities: the movements of disapora in the summer, students travelling to and from Birzeit University and immigrants who have migrated from the north and south of Palestine to work in and around Ramallah. In offering a passing glimpse at some of the dynamic relationships that cohere around and between these material and imaginative spatial practices, I hope to (re)present Palestine as a vibrant and dynamic place, shaded by social, political, economic and cultural differences that maybe similar to other parts of the world. In doing so my chronicle departs from accounts of Palestinian space that tend to prioritize the ongoing practices of Israeli Occupation and its effects. Nevertheless, Birzeit is coloured by such practices too, which penetrate and complicate practices of home, family and im/mobility. The tour stages a series of empirical stories and events that were drawn from the eleven months of fieldwork I conducted in Birzeit between June 2005 and October 2007, during which time I conducted participant observation, interviews and archival research. These stories are punctuated by a set of theoretical engagements. I choose to keep these moments separate to explore how theory and Birzeit as I experienced it might converse with one another. I hope that each will be an equal partner in the conversation, that each will complicate and extend the other, and that this conversation will also build a affirmative relation between this place and you.

Abstract:
Recent advances in embedded technologies have enabled cell phones tobecome powerful multihomed computing devices and hosts to a wide rangeof applications. However, communication between the device and the outsideworld is still a complicated task because the device is mobile, the connectionis intermittent, the signal strength varies greatly and the communicationoptions are heterogeneous. Previous work has suggested that communicationwith these devices is simplied and enhanced with the use of message orientedmiddleware (MOM).MOMs generally allow the exchange of small messages on an IP networkusing communication patterns such as notication, request/reply and pub-lish/subscribe. However, mobile devices also support non-IP networks suchas the short message service (SMS). SMS can be seen as a MOM that isadministered by a Mobile Network Provider (MNO). The advantage is itsubiquity and privileged access to the status of the device. Additionally, mo-bile devices can be reached simultaneously on multiple networks, but MOMsdo not support this functionality. In this work, we introduce a mobility middleware that will improve currentMOM. Our mobility middleware uses a utility-based scheme for automati-cally choosing one of three network types: MNO, WiFi and the SMS. Theselection scheme makes a decision using context information from the net-work, the user preferences, the application preferences and the infrastructure.Additionally, delay-tolerant application can use our mobility middleware todelay messages in order to improve the utility. We also guarantee FIFOordering and at-most-once delivery, at-least-once delivery or at-least-onceprocessing as required. Finally, we implement our solution with a Java MEclient and a Java middleware and evaluate the performance impact of addingour mobility middleware to a MOM.

Abstract:
Residential change is a pervasive condition of North American society. In a lifetime, a person may go through many decisive and interrelated changes in occupational status, family situation and dwelling-place. This research tests the relationships among three major processes: residential mobility, social mobility, and family formation in Montreal between 1861 and 1901. Using sample households from three cultural communities: French Canadian, Irish Catholic, and British Protestants, it was determined that the majority of households were highly mobile, yet remained within a compact geographical area. Mobility is seen as a response to a changing set of needs and opportunities, and families facilitated adjustment through extensive networks of kinship and neighbouring.
Studies of present-day household mobility provide a well-developed set of theories, on which several hypotheses were based. Multivariate regression analysis was performed using the binomial logit model to assess the relative effects of ethnicity, tenure, occupational status, age, household size, marital status and rent, on rates of household persistence.

Abstract:
Mestrado em Engenharia Electrónica e Telecomunicações
The unique characteristics of VANETs, such as high mobility, dynamic topology and frequent loss of connectivity, turn the network selection scheme into a complex problem. In a crowded wireless environment that surrounds us, mainly in urban areas, there is a proliferation and superposition of multiple networks and technologies. Therefore, in order to guarantee connectivity in a transparent way for users, the presence of a connection manager capable of taking informed decisions is crutial. With the increase of mobile traffic, several initiatives have been performed for deploying free/low-cost Wi-Fi hotspots across the cities, in order to offload traffic from the cellular networks into more cost-effective networks. On the one hand, clients benefit from lower data prices, and on the other hand, operators may reduce the amount of cellular infrastructure deployed. Furthermore, users will certainly prefer to connect to a free source of Internet whenever it is available instead of paying for it. Since nodes in VANETs are vehicles, the perception of the surrounding networks is constantly changing, becoming unstable with speed. Therefore, the high mobility of nodes in VANETs jeopardizes the existing network selection mechanisms, which for the network election, are based on Received Signal Strength (RSS) to choose where to connect. Moreover, in a VANET environment, there are no mechanisms capable of taking into account V2V communication according to the WAVE/DSRC technology. Thereby, we propose a connection manager which considers the Wi-Fi networks, cellular networks and the WAVE/DSRC technology to provide connectivity to vehicles. This connection manager is capable of looking into relevant data that is available in VANET-equipped vehicles, increasing the dynamic of the decision process. VCM is a connection manager optimized to operate in VANET scenarios, which takes into account the vehicle speed and heading, the infrastructure position along with their availability and also the number of hops to reach the service provider, besides the link quality. The proposed connection manager is based on an Analytical Hierarchic Process (AHP) that combines several candidate networks, geographic inputs and physical factors to determine the best connection at all times, including the technology and the best network, for each user. To determine the priority of each parameter, we proposed the combination of pairwise comparisons between the criteria involved, according to Saaty's pairwise comparison scale, enhancing the process through simulation and using a Genetic Algorithm (GA). To observe the enhancements provided by VCM, two typical connection managers were implemented: BCM which only looks to the signal quality to choose where to connect, and PCM which takes into account users preference besides the RSS. The evaluation was performed in a Manhattan grid, composed by several vehicles using SUMO's car-following model and with equal turn probabilities, and infrastructure randomly spread across the scenario. The results show that VCM outperforms the other two connection managers, proving that it is capable of operating in general scenarios minimizing the packet loss and with a reduced number of performed handovers.

Abstract:
In the past few years there hás been considerable debate over the question of mobility management in móbile cellular communication networks, due to the need of using the signaling system resources in a careful way. Among the strategies of location management, the utilization of registration areas has been difunded since the emergence of the second generation mobile communication systems, allowing to reduce the resource consumption due to location updates. Another concept, named paging areas, has also been extensively employed, allowing to save resources utilized localization of mobile terminals during the call setup for mobile stations. Initially, the Location Area Partitioning Problem (LAPP) is treated as a graph partitioning problem, largely recognized as NP-complete ([GARE 79], [LENG 90]) and leading to the utilization of heuristics, able to produce good sub-optimal solutions. The heuristics are proposed to solve the more usual case, where location areas are coincident with paging areas, and the frequency spectrum (radio resources). With the same methodology, another problem, named Inter- Switch Handover Minimization Problem (ISHMP), is adequately solved, being its relevance due to the elevated system resource consumption and to the severe delays imposed to users when their Mobile Switching Centers are changed. Thus, the diminution of the occurrence of such events id advantageous from both the user`s and the system`s points of view. The heuristics are eddentially the same for the two problems, and it is shown the superiority of the quality of the quality of the obtained solutions, when comparing them with other published results. The work also presents discussion about mobility models employed in the study of problems and techniques in the mobile communications area. Among such models, the fluid flow and the gravitational models are highlighted. A study concerning to the signaling load imposed to the fixed network (including queries and location update traffic over databases) and to the air interface is presented. Finally, starting from the average rate of mobile terminated calls and from a previously defined user impatience threshold, a new proposal for the definition of the optimal number of cells per paging area is presented.

Abstract:

Abstract:
This dissertation is aimed at presenting and discussing the localization project from English into Italian of a photo-editing app. The project comprises a revision phase of some previously translated strings and a translation phase of all the remaining textual contents. The work can be divided into two major parts, each consisting of two chapters: the first part provides a theoretical framework, while the second presents the practical work. The first chapter examines the concept of localization and begins with the definition of locale. It also includes a brief historical overview of the development and expansion of the phenomenon, the analysis of the GILT model, the different levels of localization and the professional figures involved in the process. Furthermore, the different types of localization are presented, focusing in particular, on the characteristics and issues related to software localization and mobile app localization. The second chapter deals with localization technologies and the debated role they play within this sector. Firstly, there is an introduction to CAT tools and the concepts of translation memory and termbase, which are key elements of this localization project. Afterward, it analyses two other very common practices in mobile apps localization, namely machine translation and crowdsourcing. The third chapter is dedicated to the presentation of the company and the translation assignment, followed by a section that focuses on the analysis of the application and the source texts, according to the different text types and the looping model conceived by Nord. The fourth and final chapter focuses on the translation tools and terminological resources used during the localization of the app by outlining the creation process of the bilingual glossary and the project in SLD Trados Studio. Furthermore, this final chapter provides an overview of the main translation issues encountered in both the revision and the translation phases.
