Abstract:
This article examines the significance of the body and its sensory and embodied aspects associated with a historical milieu and set of practices associated with ‘rave’ subculture and its relationship to fashion creativity. It focuses on a personal fashion archive that documents menswear designed in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Using an autoethnographic approach, the study investigates how the design of the garments in the archive was shaped by ways of experiencing and understanding the body that integrated the embodied experiences of moving and dancing with electronic music, the embodied experience of dressing, and the embodied experiences of designing men’s fashion in the years that followed. While rave and electronic dance music cultures received considerable scholarly attention in the mid- to late 1990s, less attention was devoted to men’s fashion and the interaction between fashion design, embodied experience and the rave sensoria. Moreover, while this study lays at the intersection rave and electronic dance music culture, fashion and design, all of which are understood to have European and North American origins, the article considers the way those practices took a unique shape within an Australian context. The contribution aims to provide insight into fashion as part of situated and embodied practices, that take place in local milieus, and the way fashion creativity can be understood not as surface ‘ripples’ moving out from global fashion centres or trickle-down versions of ‘authentic’ fashion developed elsewhere, but as fashion creativity, shaped by global forces, energies, and technologies, and embodied and enacted via local manifestations.

Abstract:
This article discusses Tafsi>r Jala>lain as a literature to process Aswaja ideologization in the pesantren milieu. It is the first Islamic literature introduced by Java-Muslim scholars in the institution. The motivation is not only technical (simple description) so that Indonesian Muslim can easily understand the Qur’anic interpretation, but also ideological one. To embed the ideology Tafsi>r Jala>lain were utilized because it describes ideological interpretation of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah, the primary and selected ideology among figures of pesantren. About theology it refers to Asha’iran school and regarding fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) it points to Shafi’ian. There are two mothods to embed the ideology to the community of pesantren mil1ieu through Tafsi>r Jala>lain: First, orally, bandongan by reading or teaching it to the students. Second, literally, by translating the Tafsi>r into the local language (Indonesian, Javanese, Maduranese and Sundanese). In turn, Aswaja ideology was rooted in the pesantren and ascertained by Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) organization founded in 1926.

Abstract:

Abstract:
What kinds of CHOS compounds might be formed in a prebiotic milieu by reducing CO2 in the presence of H2 and H2S? How might the presence of sulfur influence the chemical composition of the mixture? We explore these questions by using first-principles quantum chemistry to calculate the free energies of CHOS compounds in aqueous solution, by first generating a thermodynamic map of one- and two-carbon species. We find that while thiols are thermodynamically favored, thioesters, thioacids, and thiones are less favorable than their non-sulfur counterparts. We then focus on the key role played by mercaptoacetaldehyde in sulfur analogs of the autocatalytic formose reaction, whereby the thiol group introduces asymmetry and potential thermodynamic selectivity of some compounds over others.

The book ‘The winning side’, by Huy Duc, is revealing in two ways. First, it presents an account of how the historically crucial episode of the 1968 Tet offensive was, as an event seen as caused by decisions in Hanoi (clearly, these are proximate causes, as the historical context is far greater in scope), ‘decided upon’. Second, in that Huy Duc’s account tells us much about his views of how these decisions were taken, and their political milieu, it tells us how he presents his own views and thinking about that milieu.

Abstract:

Abstract:
In the era of the knowledge economy, knowledge management is increasingly important. Knowledge management ability is one of the core factors influencing enterprise competitiveness, affecting innovation performance and sustainable development. To test the impact mechanism of the knowledge management of enterprises on innovation performance, a multilevel structural equation model was established using data from the automobile industry in China, with “knowledge management” (KM) as the independent variable, the three dimensions of absorptive capacity as the mediating variables, and “innovation performance” (IP) as the dependent variable at the firm level. At the cluster level, the innovation milieu of the cluster was introduced into the model. The results show that the three dimensions of absorptive capacity all significantly mediate the relationship between knowledge management and innovation performance. The innovation milieu of the cluster had a direct cross-level effect on the innovation performance of enterprises and a positive cross-level moderated effect on the relationship between explorative learning and innovation performance. These results support the promotion of enterprise innovation ability and the creation of an innovation milieu in the automobile industry in China.

Abstract:
Despite that the international community agrees on the importance of education as an important tool for the emotional, physical and social stability of its members, education falls victim to the humanitarian crises across the globe. Due to instability and political unrest in conflict areas, accessing education becomes a dream for local young people residing in such places. It is agreed that war prevents students from their simplest right of pursuing education. It foils governments from functioning, teachers and students often flee their homes, and continuity of learning is greatly disrupted (UNICEF, 2021). Conflicts cause damage of schools, absence of teachers and students, delays in or even cancellation of the opening of the academic year. In the case of Yemen, Arab country located at the southwest of Middle East, war has killed tens of thousands, forced 4 million to flee and pushed the country to the rim of famine (Xinhua, 2022). In worst cases, students have to drop out of school and migrate to escape ongoing conflicts. Some of the students in such areas have become internally displaced, refugees or even fighters. For these harsh conditions, the schools and universities remain tremendously far-fetched. Education in conflict-affected areas has always been given a very low priority in humanitarian aid by organizations. Yemen, as a conflict-ridden area since 2015, has sunken into an unmerciful war which creates not only different security problems for Yemeni learners to carry on their regular formal learning, but also a number of economic and socio-cultural barriers as a result of instability in the area. Yemen's status before war as a "failed State" has merged with war to create critical lasting challenges (Cordesman, 2017). Yemen has been facing widespread corruption, diminishing resources, very high unemployment, poverty, political partitions, and recurrent conflict even before war (Kendall, 2020). During war, Yemeni people have found themselves in a fragmented country with a distorted economy, its social unity torn apart and narrow paths forward – often to the theatre of war and distress (Al-Jeddawy, 2022). War has been currently taking a huge psychological and material trauma on Yemeni young students as their schools and universities are being deliberately under attack (Qasem, 2017). The country is in keen need to sustain peace and face Yemen's economic and progress ch allenges which is possible only through education, research, and effective mobilization of human and natural resources in the country (Zakham, Vapalahti, Lashuel, 2020). This study is an attempt to explore the context of English learning at universities. It tries to investigate the challenges faced by undergraduate students to carry on their education in conflict zones. It seeks to understand the effect of civil conflict on the progress of higher education to suggest an immediate remedy to the adequate design of policies geared towards those individuals who have been affected by violence and faced by many obstacles. The possible significance of this study is threefold. First, the study will endeavor to reveal the setting of higher education in the English departments in the conflict zone, Yemen. Second, the study will disclose the intricacies that are involved in augmenting performance of learners in conflict zones and suggest some points to be followed in order to upgrade the current higher education system. Third, the study will provide recommendations to government, disputed parties and even international community for rescuing the future of young people.

Abstract:
Alternative health practitioners, especially those utilizing biofield energies, are challenged to explain what is happening outside of what individuals receiving treatment share post session about their experiences. This research aims to demonstrate the cellular effect, reflected in human blood as evidenced by darkfield microscopy, of an energetic or spiritual treatment. To achieve this, 71 volunteers were recruited for the Vibrant Health Research project. Each volunteer donated blood samples by capillary puncture and received 30 minutes of Reiki. This study aimed to determine if one Reiki treatment session induced changes of quality (motility, shape, and structure) and influenced oxidative stress components within erythrocytes (red blood cells; RBCs). This study further aimed to document any Reiki-induced changes in the protit (somatid), terrain (milieu), or pleomorphic development in the live blood sample. This research also measured changes in volunteer’s perceived wellbeing pre- and posttreatment. These data found that Reiki Ryoho treatment influences mental/emotional outcomes as well as physical effects on live blood samples. Specifically, Reiki treatment was shown here to decrease negative emotions (p = .004) and change the size/shape (p = .003), spatial distance (p < .001), and motility (p = .017) of RBCs. Further, Reiki treatment was also associated with notable differences in the pleomorphic development and markers of oxidative stress reflected in live blood samples. Overall, more systematic research is warranted to validate these findings of long-term Reiki-induced influences on blood.

The currently available solar neutrino data leads to a boundAMSW=1.47+0.54−0.42(+1.88−0.82)at 1σ(3σ) CL, which is consistent with the Standard Model predictionAMSW=1. For weaker matter potential (AMSW<1), the constraint which comes from the flat8B neutrino spectrum is already very tight, indicating the evidence for matter effects. However for stronger matter potential (AMSW>1), the bound is milder and is dominated by the day-night asymmetry of8B neutrino flux recently observed by Super-Kamiokande. Among the list of observables of ongoing and future solar neutrino experiments, we find that (1) an improved precision of the day-night asymmetry of8B neutrinos, (2) precision measurements of the low-energy quasi-monoenergetic neutrinos, and (3) the detection of the upturn of the8B neutrino spectrum at low energies are the best choices to improve the bound onAMSW.

Abstract:
As the world enters the renewable revolution, it is crucial for the petroleum industry to remain relevant in the public eye and become environmentally awareness. One potential path to achieve these goals in a progressive and beneficial way is to integrate renewable energy sources into various nodes of the petroleum industrial operations. Different ways of achieving such integration are described in the review section of the article. These include utilizing solar energy to power upstream operations and a variety of enhanced oil recovery projects, such as microbial enhanced oil recovery and others, or using solar energy downstream to supply power to pumps, gas lift apparatus, etc. The article also proposes a novel potential application of solar energy to power operations and provide long-term sustainable energy source to petroleum operations in high latitudes. The potential applicability of solar power in petroleum engineering operations far North has long been neglected due to potential unprofitability and difficulty of construction of solar power grid in such harsh climactic conditions. However, now, as the world transitions to a new reality of co-existence of fossil fuels with alternative energy sources in light of growing concerns over climate change, it is a strategic time to implement the technology in profitable and environmentally conscious way in countries that have a trustworthy environmental record and strong, robust environmental policies, like Canada, as well as in less environmentally achieving countries with milder emission reduction targets such as Russian Federation.

Abstract:
There exists a strong link between mountain regions and biodiversity. These regions represent the most important source of regional and global ecosystems forming the core elements of environmental and sustainable development policies. Mountains operate as true refuge for endemic species but are affected by uncontrolled human actions, while alpine meadows are exposed to losses of traditional pasture practices. Mountains can be analyzed from the economic, ecological, environmental, social, cultural viewpoints and their multidisciplinary nature is acknowledged both in the academic milieu and by decision makers involved in territorial development policy. The negative impact of economic activities in mountain regions is becoming more visible, therefore, necessitating a sustainable approach to preserve the biodiversity and habitat in order to salvage the fragile ecological balance. The present paper gives an overview of the relationship between biodiversity and sustainability within mountain regions and its implications on the economic and social development process. By interpreting the finding of previous research and studies, the article presents the current knowledge of mountain biodiversity in Europe and Romania and its relationship with sustainable development process.

Abstract:
This paper deals with innovation adoption, with the purpose of analyzing the uptake of sustainable innovations among young farms working in urban and periurban contexts. Our hypothesis is that innovative milieus (IM) play a fundamental role in boosting sustainable innovation. In order to analyze the uptake of sustainable innovation, we will make reference to the two logics of the IM approach: the logics of interactions and the logics of learning. The former is focused on the socio-institutional domain, more precisely on relational assets and coordination mechanisms activated by the farms. The latter makes reference to the profile of innovation adopted and on various impacts innovation have under economic, social and environmental points of view. A questionnaire has been submitted to young farms participating to the Oscar Green Coldiretti Awards. In total, three dimensions of innovation are taken into account: economic, social and environmental. Data are processed through statistical tools aiming at describing the diversified set of interaction-learning mechanisms. Results evidence different innovative milieus which pave the way to diversified paths of innovation with different degree of sustainability and impacts.
