Abstract:
Abstract BIM is an integrated set of building design, construction and management processes, technologies and regulations that allow all parties involved to jointly design, build and manage a building in a digital environment. In Europe, a common approach to the use and adaptation of technologies is currently being developed with the aim of providing a common regulatory framework that would promote the efficiency of technology application between the countries of the European Union. The use of BIM technologies is based on economic (financial) benefits. The financial benefits are estimated in the long run, and the main factors for financial savings are productivity and quality, which can be achieved by applying BIM technology and appropriate processes during the construction cycle (design, construction and management). Studies show that savings can reach up to 10% of construction costs. Currently underway is the process of implementing and configuring the Microsoft Dynamics platform for processing and using work information of SJSC "Latvian State Roads" (LSR). Microsoft Dynamics is a line of enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management software. In general, LSR intends to use the system in the following stages of the construction cycle: • Design stage • Construction procurement stage • Construction stage • Warranty period Microsoft Dynamic has both pros and cons for processing LSR information. Only after full implementation it will be possible to assess the effectiveness of this platform. Objective of the article is to explore how the use of BIM can improve the LSR work process and what happening at this moment in LSR.

Abstract:
There are many valuable species of medicinal plants growing in the Perm Region. Researchers in the field of medicinal resource studies identify more than 100 species of medicinal plants that grow in the Perm Region. It is necessary to have actual information about the available plant resources for the rational harvesting of medicinal plant raw materials. The purpose of the article is to monitor, evaluate and analyze promising types of medicinal plants in the Perm Region. This becomes possible by conducting resource research using geographic information systems. In this article 27 types of medicinal plants have been studied. The areas of species growth are determined and the main resource characteristics are calculated: the population area, the possible annual harvesting volume. Microsoft Excel software for Windows was used for calculations. As a result of an inventory resource study, the peculiarities of the growth and distribution of 27 types of medicinal plants in the Perm Region were studied and the most promising areas for harvesting medicinal plant raw materials were identified. Population passports have been developed, and thematic maps of the growth of the studied medicinal plants have been created to visualize information. Electronic maps were built in the ArcView GIS 3.2 program using remote sensing data from the GeoMixer web information platform. Thus, our own resource studies in combination with GIS capabilities made it possible to visualize the obtained resource data clearly and easily. The developed thematic maps are a convenient tool for further research and identification of prospects for medicinal plant raw materials harvesting in the Perm Region.

Abstract:
Data on pedestrian activity, including volumes, walking speed, and trajectories, are used by transportation agencies and researchers for planning, design, and analysis. Several technologies are available for automatic collection of pedestrian data; however, all have inherent limitations in either functionality or monetary cost. Also, most technologies provide only counts. This paper proposes the use of an inexpensive motion-sensing device, Microsoft Kinect, which can track multiple people in low light conditions and can be combined with existing video-based daytime tracking. The tracking software and speed estimation methodologies are described, and indoor and outdoor studies show the system's effectiveness at determining pedestrian volumes and walking speeds. The accuracy of speed data is very satisfactory, with correlation of 98% or more for video data validation speeds. The accuracy of pedestrian volume data varies with traffic conditions; however, in low to moderate traffic conditions its performance is acceptable, with an undercounting error near 8%. The applications of the sensor and its complementarity with other sensors are discussed, as these are the first step toward a multisensor system.

Abstract The aim of this paper was to discuss the use of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) in the assessment of electricity generation systems. To that end, it was conducted a systematic literature review. EndNote, Mendeley and Excel spreadsheets were used to manage references, while the VOSviewer and Microsoft Power Business Intelligence software tools were used to create visual maps. Europe seemed to stand out regarding the number of studies, while there was a lack of LCC studies in America, Asia and Oceania. Concerns seem to have switched from being only about the source for producing electricity to how to diversify the energy system including renewable energy in the energy mix. Overall, there seems to be a shortage of recent studies regarding the LCC of electricity generation systems, which requires further contributions to enable better decision-making.

Abstract:
The objective of this study was to determine the feasibility of a 6-week, game-based, in-home telerehabilitation exercise program using the Microsoft Kinect® for individuals with chronic stroke. Four participants with chronic stroke completed the intervention based on games designed with the customized Mystic Isle software. The games were tailored to each participant’s specific rehabilitation needs to facilitate the attainment of individualized goals determined through the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure. Likert scale questionnaires assessed the feasibility and utility of the game-based intervention. Supplementary clinical outcome data were collected. All participants played the games with moderately high enjoyment. Participant feedback helped identify barriers to use (especially, limited free time) and possible improvements. An in-home, customized, virtual reality game intervention to provide rehabilitative exercises for persons with chronic stroke is practicable. However, future studies are necessary to determine the intervention’s impact on participant function, activity, and involvement.

Abstract:
Large keystone organizations use partnership models to manage their software ecosystem partners. Although several partnership models have been developed by platform owners, smaller companies willing to create a new ecosystem may experience difficulties to define the appropriate features of partnership models when switching from an independent software product to an ecosystem. This study proposes a partnership meta-model and four strategic patterns to operationalize it. We adopted the Design Science Research (DSR) method. The partnership meta-model was built in the first cycle of DSR, using a Systematic Mapping Study, and validated through case studies of SAP, Eclipse, and Microsoft Azure ecosystems. In the second cycle of DSR, the strategic patterns were defined through a Multivocal Literature Review and validated by using interviews with professionals. The meta-model presents the key characteristics to define partnership models for emerging software ecosystems. The strategic patterns aim to operationalize the meta-model and, consequently, assist the keystone in defining the features that the partnership model will have and select suitable strategies. The meta-model and the strategic patterns help managers creating and evolving software ecosystems from a software product considering the impact of that transition on the partnership model.

Abstract:
Comparison of analytical results with finite element results for analysis of isotropic material multicell beams subjected to free torsion case is the main idea of this paper. Progress in the fundamentals and applications of advanced materials and their processing technologies involves costly experiments and prototype testing for reliability. The software development for design analysis of structures with advanced materials is a low cost but challenging research. Multicell beams have important industrial applications in the aerospace and automotive sectors. This paper explains software development to test different materials in design of a multicell beam. Objective of this paper is to compute the torsional loading of multicell beams of isotropic materials for safe design in both symmetrical and asymmetrical geometries. Software has been developed in Microsoft Visual Basic. Distribution of Saint Venant shear flows, shear stresses, factors of safety, volume, mass, weight, twist, polar moment of inertia and aspect ratio for free torsion in multicell beam have been calculated using this software. The software works on four algorithms, these are, Specific geometry algorithm, material selection algorithm, factor of safety algorithm and global algorithm. User can specify new materials analytically, or choose a pre-defined material from the list, which includes, plain carbon steels, low alloy steels, stainless steels, cast irons, aluminum alloys, copper alloys, magnesium alloys, titanium alloys, precious metals and refractory metals. Although this software is restricted to multicell beam comprising of three cells, however future versions can have ability to address more complicated shapes and cases of multicell beams. Software also describes nomenclature and mathematical formulas applied to help user understand the theoretical background. User can specify geometry of multicell beam for three rectangular cells. Software computes shear flows, shear stresses, safety factors etc in all members of three cell beam, analyzes safety of proposed design and provides output with highlighted comments and graphics, in cases where safety factor in any element of multicell beam falls below 1.5. Results of this software were compared and verified with analytical calculations and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Development and use of this software provides an easy to use tool, for quick verification of different design cases in three cell beams composed of advanced isotropic materials. Furthermore, the methodology proposed is also useful for similar cases of research in reliable design studies and material analysis.

Abstract:
Recently, many studies have been conducted to apply virtual reality (VR) technology to the mining industry. To accomplish this, it is necessary to develop user interface devices that can effectively control software. Most VR content in the mining industry requires precise device control for equipment operation or accident response. In this study, we compare the performance of four user interface devices (a 2D mouse, 2D & 3D mice, a VR controller, and a Kinect (Microsoft) sensor and bend-sensing data glove) for controlling mining industry software in a VR environment. The total working time, number of device clicks and click accuracy, were analyzed based on 10 experimenters performing 3D orebody modeling, using each device in the VR environment. Furthermore, we conducted a survey to evaluate the ease of learning, ease of use, immersion and fatigue of each device after the experiment. The results show that the 2D mouse yields a high performance in terms of its working time, click accuracy, ease of learning and ease of use. However, the 2D mouse did not completely leverage the VR environment, owing to low user immersion. The Kinect sensor and bend-sensing data glove could control the software efficiently while maximizing user immersion. Our findings are expected to provide a useful reference for the future development of user interface devices in the mining industry.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the technology confidence, skills, and post-skills-test emotions in traditional (younger than 24 years old) and non-traditional (24 and older) first-year college students at three undergraduate campuses in the Northeastern USA. Design/methodology/approach Totally, 39 college freshmen from three college campuses were recruited for the study. An online test environment and screen recording software were used to measure student proficiency in using PDFs, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Gmail, and Windows. Data were collected in September 2013. Findings The majority of the students struggled with at least one facet of academic software. Traditional students were more confident than non-traditional students in their technology skills, but they did not score any higher on the skills test. Students who placed at the high end and low end of the test results curve most accurately assessed their technology skills, and their post-test feelings were the most appropriate in light of their test results. A large percentage of the traditional aged students were overconfident about their skills and self-identified as “happy” or “wonderful” even after performing poorly on the test. Originality/value Having concrete data about student technology skills, rather than anecdotal data from Reference Desk interactions, can help librarians design improved instruction and tutorials that target areas of student technology weakness. In addition, there have been no studies that examine student immediate emotional response to test performance in this type of testing environment.

The study involved 197 doctors of medical organizations in Moscow and the Moscow Region. Statistical processing was performed with the use of Microsoft Excel 2016 software (Microsoft, USA) and the use of descriptive statistics methods. The data is presented in the form of absolute numbers and their fractions. Results. The survey revealed gaps in the doctors’ knowledge on the methods of celiac disease diagnosis and clinical manifestations, the definition of risk groups of patients to be examined to exclude celiac disease, the criteria for prescribing the gluten-free diet, as well as some social aspects. These studies indicate the lack of understanding of the methods of correct diagnosis and the need to improve the knowledge of doctors, the introduction of educational programs, schools for doctors and patients. Conclusion. It is necessary to improve the skills of doctors in celiac disease diagnosis and treatment in order to improve the screening and early diagnosis of celiac disease and related complications

Abstract:
This paper discusses the sequential estimation of the scale parameter of the Rayleigh distribution using the three-stage sequential sampling procedure proposed by Hall (Ann. Stat.1981, 9, 1229–1238). Both point and confidence interval estimation are considered via a unified optimal decision framework, which enables one to make the maximum use of the available data and, at the same time, reduces the number of sampling operations by using bulk samples. The asymptotic characteristics of the proposed sampling procedure are fully discussed for both point and confidence interval estimation. Since the results are asymptotic, Monte Carlo simulation studies are conducted to provide the feel of small, moderate, and large sample size performance in typical situations using the Microsoft Developer Studio software. The procedure enjoys several interesting asymptotic characteristics illustrated by the asymptotic results and supported by simulation.

Abstract:
This paper analyzes the current status and inadequate of three-dimensional parametric design, and introduces the conceptions and principles of KBE (Knowledge Based Engineering) technology and the parametric design. The key techniques of parametric design system are studied based on the platform of combination of SolidWorks as three-dimensional feature modeling software, Microsoft Access as supported database and Microsoft Visual Basic as the development tool. Firstly, we divide the product into modules by functions. Secondly, invoke corresponding knowledge and methods of design and calculation in the KBE knowledge base to perform design and calculation. Then we use parametric modification method combined with equations, values link and design tables to get the parametric models, judge the rationality of the design parameters through finite element analysis, and create the drawings which meet the processing and production requirements using drawings automatically adjustment technology. Finally a case study of stacker design is given to validate these techniques of parametric design system, and show that the techniques have great significance for improving product design quality, shorting the design cycle and improving the competitiveness of enterprises.

Abstract:
Today, die design standards are used to design the structure of die components. These standards are usually based on high safety factors. So, the die components are often heavier and larger than required. In this article, a software package is developed which can design an appropriate topology of body structure of stamping die components with a reduced weight. This is done by implementing the evolutionary structural optimization algorithm. The proposed structure can also be modified by the designer to accommodate for a simpler casting method. This software package is developed in Microsoft Visual C# programming environment with a link to Abaqus software to analyze the finite element simulation of the process. The operation of the software is demonstrated by an example where the die for a sheet metal part is studied. The die components are initially designed, analyzed and compared with the standard die (the die which is in general use today). The final results show a reduction of 37% of volume and 8% of maximum displacement, respectively.

Abstract:
Homogenization, which is used in the technological schemes of production of most dairy products, is the most energy-intensive of the processes of mechanical processing of milk. One promising way to increase the energy efficiency of homogenization is to use separate homogenization and to use a little-researched stream homogenizer with separate cream feeding. The principle of its action is to pre-divide milk into cream and skim milk, and feed the fat phase with a thin stream into the stream of skim milk. This creates the conditions for achieving the high value of the Weber criterion – the main factor in the dispersion of milk fat. The purpose of these researches is to conduct experimental studies and determine the energy consumption and quality of homogenization of milk after treatment in a stream homogenizer. To achieve this goal, a designed experimental setup was used. The dispersive indices of the milk emulsion were determined by computer analysis of micrographs of milk samples obtained with an optical microscope and a digital camera using Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Visual Studio C # software using the OpenCV Sharp library. As a result of experimental studies, the critical value of the Weber criterion for homogenization of milk was determined, which is 28. The regularities of dispersion of milk fat in a stream homogenizer with separate feeding of the fat phase have been established. It is determined that the milk treatment in the experimental homogenizer allows us to achieve an emulsion with an average size of fat globules of about 0.8 μm (at the level of valve homogenizers). The value of the homogenization coefficient is obtained for the disruption of the fat globule in the conditions: subject to a single effect on the emulsion, without the influence of vibration and cavitation. This homogenization coefficient equals 3300 m3/2.s-1.

Introduction. Cranioplasty is an urgent trend in modern neurosurgery, because a significant part of neurosurgical interventions is completed by the removal of a bone flap. Patients with defects of skull bones often have neurological, therapeutic and psychological consequences. Restoration of the integrity of the cranial vault bones lets to achieve a significant success in the medical, work, and social rehabilitation of patients.Purpose. To evaluate the effectiveness of various types of implants in neurosurgery on the base of postoperative complications, according to the results of meta-analysis.Materials and methods. The following research bases were studied: Ovid MEDLINE / PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus, Google Scholar, and Cochrane Database. Each graft type was compared with others for the presence of complications using the SPSS Statistics 23.0 and Microsoft Excel software. The results of meta-analysis were obtained using the RevMan software required to create the classic systematic Cochrane review; 17 papers were selected for meta-analysis.Results. A statistically significant safer use of PMMA in comparison with an autograft was found in terms of infectious complications. Meta-analysis of the studies on new material based on polyetherketone revealed lower risks of complications if compared to titanium mesh. There was no statistically significant effect indicating more effective and safe use of titanium mesh if compared to autologous bone or PMMA, despite the lower incidence of titanium implant-associated local complications (χ2=9.35, p=0.05). Significant effectiveness of autocranioplasty in comparison with alloplastic materials was not proved.Conclusions. The use of meta-analysis let to make conclusions on the effectiveness of various implants on the base of the data on postoperative complications.

Abstract:
Since the early 1970s, the Montreal Urban Community Transit Commission has held a series of six major origin-destination surveys in the greater Montreal area. These studies, which include approximately 50,000 households per survey, benefit from a totally disaggregate approach. This framework permits the spatialization of each trip end at the x-y coordinate level and associates multiple variables to every recorded trip. The dissemination of such a vast quantity of data requires different levels of resolution with respect to processing methods and software, zonal aggregation, itineraries, and sociodemographic variables. In this context, two tools have been created for public use: MADEOD (Origin-Destination Survey Data Disaggregate Analysis Model) and MADGEN (Trip Generator Disaggregate Analysis Model). Because of the recent and rapid evolution of multimedia technology, these tools have been developed in an interactive Microsoft Excel worksheet format and in hypertext markup language for the Groupe MADITUC's World Wide Web site on the Internet. Stand-alone multimedia presentations and a Windows help file have also been developed for tutorial use.

Abstract:
This study focuses on the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) which begins with creating a 3D digital model (virtual building) which serves as a means for planning, designing, implementing development, and maintaining the building and its infrastructure for all parties involved in the project. Unlike other studies that use concrete structures, this study refers to the Bauntung Banjarbaru Market building with a steel structure. BIM software program is specific and correct. Specific is within the use of BIM information is taken and adapted to real conditions within the area. Correct is a constructible model, that is, the model that is created is the same as the model that was constructed. Besides, when there is a change in the model, the resulting cost estimate can change automatically.Modeling of building structures includes modeling of reinforced concrete structures and steel structures. The modeling is done using a software called Tekla Structures with a South-East Asia environment that refers to the plan drawing. After the modeling is complete, the work unit price is inputted into the software. The output of this modeling is direct cost estimation for structural work. For manual cost estimation using cost budget plan that has been obtained from the contractor in the form of a Microsoft Excel file. From the results of the analysis of the two cost estimates, the resulting comparison of the cost difference is quite scanty. The difference between manual cost estimation and BIM based cost estimation is 0.26%. So, it can be concluded that the use of BIM based cost estimation can be used because it produces cost estimates that are faster than using manual calculations made by contractors. The use of BIM can reduce costs and inaccuracies in the calculation of estimates in projects because it can be done more thoroughly. Background. Daodi medicinal material is widely used in Chinese herb medication. However, there is a lack of systematic methodology for identifying characteristics associated with good quality and reliable efficacy of Daodi med-material. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to provide some evidence to further substantiate the use of Daodi medicinal materials. Methods. Seven relevant databases were searched before July 2014. Two evaluators were responsible for screening and categorizing the results. The data was analyzed with Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS 21.0 statistical software. Results. Overall, 107 articles were systematically analyzed. Of these studies, 55.1% (59/107) focused on the methodology to assess Daodi med-material, and 38.3% (41/107) were interested in med-material ingredients, soil physical and chemical properties, and the geological background system (GBS). Only 6.5% (7/107) of studies were mainly conducted as clinical trials and animal experiments. Conclusion. Comparisons between Daodi and non-Daodi materials have been studied mainly in terms of the ingredients or composition of medical materials, soil physics and chemistry, and the GBS, and some identifying methodologies have been created to identify Daodi attributes. Until now, there is still no consensus of comparison criteria between Daodi and non-Daodi medicinal material. Only a few studies were conducted through animal experiments and clinical trials to determine Daodi superiority.

Abstract:
Homogenization is a necessary process in the production of drinking milk and most dairy products. The specific energy consumption of the most common valve homogenizers reaches 8 kW h.t-1. A promising way to reduce it is the introduction of more effective counter-jet homogenizers. The purpose of these studies is to increase the efficiency of machines of this type through fuller use of their kinetic energy. To achieve this, the design of a ring reflector was developed and experimental studies were carried out to determine its influence on the efficiency of milk fat dispersion in a counter-jet homogenizer. Calculations were made to determine the reflector’s design parameters. An installation for experimental research has been developed, in which the required milk pressure is created with the help of compressed carbon dioxide. The dispersive indices of the milk emulsion were determined by computer analysis of milk sample micrographs obtained with an optical microscope and a digital camera using Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Visual Studio C# software using the OpenCV Sharp library. As a result of research, the formula for defining the angle of the reflector top has been determined analytically. Experimental studies proved its validity and allowed determination of the optimal diameter. A comparison of the dependence of the degree of homogenization on the excess pressure in a counter-jet homogenizer proves a 15 – 20% increase in the degree of dispersion when using a reflector. At the same time, specific energy consumption does not increase. Comparison of the distribution curves of milk fat globules by size after counter-jet homogenization and homogenization with a reflector suggests that the average diameter of fat globules for the experimental method decreases from 0.99 to 0.83 μm. This indicates the high quality of the dispersal characteristics of the milk emulsion after processing in a counter-jet homogenizer with a reflector.

Abstract:
The advent of utility computing has revolutionized almost every sector of traditional software development. Especially commercial cloud computing services, pioneered by the likes of Amazon, Google and Microsoft, have provided an unprecedented opportunity for the fast and sustainable development of complex distributed systems. Nevertheless, existing models and tools aim primarily for systems where resource usage—by humans and bots alike—is logically and physically quite disperse resulting in a low likelihood of conflicting resource access. However, a number of resource-intensive applications, such as Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMOGs) and large-scale simulations introduce a requirement for a very large common state with many actors accessing it simultaneously and thus a high likelihood of conflicting resource access. This paper presents a systematic mapping study of the state-of-the-art in software technology aiming explicitly to support the development of MMOGs, a class of large-scale, resource-intensive software systems. By examining the main focus of a diverse set of related publications, we identify a list of criteria that are important for MMOG development. Then, we categorize the selected studies based on the inferred criteria in order to compare their approach, unveil the challenges faced in each of them and reveal research trends that might be present. Finally we attempt to identify research directions which appear promising for enabling the use of standardized technology for this class of systems.

Abstract:
Objective: estimation of parameters of vascular stiffness in patients with arterial hypertension (AH) and atherosclerosis of the arteries of the lower extremities (AALE) taking into account statin therapy. Materials and methods: 120 patients with AH were divided into 3 groups: group 1 — 46 patients with AH and clinically manifested AALE, group 2 — 39 patients with AH and asymptomatic AALE, group 3 — 35 patients with AH without AALE. The patients of each group were divided into 2 subgroups: the 1st subgroup — not receiving statins, the 2nd subgroup — taking statins. All patients underwent laboratory and instrumental studies, including the determination of vascular stiffness parameters using the Vasotens software («Peter Telegin», Nizhny Novgorod) and ultrasonic triplex scanning of the arteries of the lower extremities. Statistical data processing was carried out using Microsoft Office Excel 16 (2015, Microsoft, USA), Statistica 10.0 (StatSoft, USA), IBM SPSS Statistica 26.0 (IBM, USA). Results: lower values of total cholesterol were found in patients of the 2nd subgroup of all studied groups (p<0,05), as well as lower values of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDLС) among patients of the 2nd subgroup of the second and third groups (<0,05). In patients of all groups, when using statins, the target values of LDLC were not achieved. Lower values of the arterial stiffness index (ASI) and augmentation index (AIx) were found in patients of the first group of the 2nd subgroup receiving statins in comparison with patients of the 1st subgroup (p<0,05). In patients of the second group of the 2nd subgroup, while taking statins, there was a clear trend towards a lower ASI value compared to the 1st subgroup (p=0.07). Conclusions: the use of statins in patients with hypertension and AALE of varying severity, despite the lack of achievement of target levels of LDLC, contributed to a decrease in vascular stiffness, and, consequently, a decrease in cardiovascular risk.

Abstract:
Typology Analysis of Metalhead Community Logos as Visual Communication During the Covid-19 Pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic brought many changes in terms of how to communicate within the community, namely Metalhead, both nationally and internationally by utilizing social media Facebook, Instagram, and so on through logos and graphic designs. The research problem is the tendency to use a logo which is the hallmark of the Metalhead group in terms of typography and function. Qualitative research methods with observational data collection, literature review, and documentation. The approach using typology studies includes typography and function. The findings from the results of the study show that the metalhead logo typology through digital posters has its own characteristics, in color selection, the dominant use of white in writing and the background tends to be dark in color, namely black, red, and other colors but not so dominating. Regarding letters, they tend to use unusual letters (design themselves) in writing band names. Event themes, schedules, venues, and sponsors tend to use fonts that are universally understood or still use conventional fonts in Microsoft Word. The function of the metalhead logo is to form a collective identity and communication among Metalheads and the wider community.

Abstract:
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), a second-generation platelet concentrate, has been widely recognized in numerous studies for its performance of wound healing and regeneration in dentistry. However, bibliometric analysis of PRF in dentistry is still scarce. Thus, this study aimed to conduct and delineate a bibliometric analysis of the application of PRF and its changing trend in dentistry. All papers concerning PRF up to 30 June 2022 were included in the literature search from the Web of Science Core Collection database. These data were then entered into Microsoft Excel, analyzed by the SAS statistical software, and visualized by the VOSviewer software. A total of 562 articles were retrieved following the exclusive criteria. The results demonstrated that the trend of annual publication increased continually (p for trend < 0.01), more notably in the last five years. The majority of the articles were original (58.01%), followed by reviews (17.08%), and case reports (10.14%). The three major study designs were clinical studies (20.11%), randomized controlled trials (17.62%), and review/meta-analysis (17.08%). PRF was most frequently employed in oral surgery (31.14%), periodontal regeneration (22.42%), and implant therapy (18.68%). Turkey (16.19%), India (12.28%) and China (7.12%) were the top 3 countries publishing PRF studies. By comparing the total number of publications, total citation counts and varying counting methods, a combination of numerous counting methods was suggested for use since each counting method yields different results. Taken together, we hope with these informative findings, researchers could focus on the future direction or advancement in PRF, laying a foundation for evidence-based dentistry.

Abstract:
Abstract The article presents an approach to the processing of chemical experiment’s data using a Microsoft Excel software. Instead of storing the experiment data in text files, it is proposed to use a Microsoft Excel file of a certain structure. A macro has been developed to automate the process of transferring data from text files to a common file. The described approach can be applied when solving problems accompanied by storing a large amount of statistical data, which can be obtained as a result of natural or computational experiments. The macro has been tested on the data of a laboratory and numerical experiment on the synthesis of a styrene-butadiene copolymer. This copolymer is formed as a result of carrying out the process of copolymerization in continuous mode in a cascade of continuous stirred tank reactors. The results of the experiment are the characteristics of the formed product for each reactor of the cascade at the end of each hour of process modeling. Transferring data into a single file of a certain structure allows you to graphically present the results of the experiment and facilitates further analysis of the characteristics of the product being studied, depending on the formulation and process conditions.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the factors influencing consumer behavioral intention (BI) to use cryptocurrency as a medium of transaction. Constructs from the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology model and an added variable, perceived risk (PR), are examined to predict BI. Age and gender as moderators are retained in this model. Design/methodology/approach An online survey was used to gather the respondents’ responses on a five-point Likert scale. G * Power was used to calculate the required minimum sample size. A non-probability sampling technique was used to gather data from the 290 respondents based in Malaysia. The final data set was analyzed using the statistical package for the social sciences and SmartPLS software using structural equation modeling. Findings The results show that three of the five proposed factors (performance expectancy, effort expectancy and facilitating condition) are significant predictors of BI to adopt cryptocurrency as a medium of transaction. Interestingly, PR is not a significant predictor even though prior research studies showed otherwise. Likewise, the relationship between BI and social influence became significant only when age is added as a moderator. Practical implications Malaysians are still wary of cryptocurrency, even though global tech firms such as Amazon and Microsoft are already accepting Bitcoin as a payment method. This study aims to provide relevant authorities and businesses (i.e. central bank, retail merchants and cryptocurrency exchangers) insights toward understanding the factors consumers focus on if they were to use cryptocurrency as a medium of transaction. Originality/value Most cryptocurrency research are done in developed countries (i.e. USA, UK and EU) perspective. This research addresses the lack of quantitative literature on significant factors influencing BI to use cryptocurrency in developing country context while taking a PR, age and gender into consideration.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION:Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of complex interventions are conducted in a context-specific environment. Principal trial reports, with a focus on main results, are unable to document adequately the context for an intervention, for example, word limits. Important context may be included in “sibling studies” (that is, studies conducted alongside the main trial, for example, process evaluations, and qualitative studies (1). This presentation explores (i) to what extent is it possible to use a systematic and parsimonious method to identify sibling studies and (ii) what is the potential value of yield from these studies?METHODS:The systematic CLUSTER approach (2) to follow up of index studies (Citations, Lead authors, Unpublished materials, Scholar, Theories, Early examples Related projects) has demonstrated the value of retrieved items in qualitative terms. However, the CLUSTER approach is painstaking and laborious and may be prohibitive within a time-tight Health Technology Assessment (HTA). A streamlined CLUSTER approach, using freely available Publish or Perish Software integrated with Google Scholar and Microsoft Excel, offers an economical way of building up “clusters” of study reports. A case study of a UK National Institute for Health Research (NIHR)-funded HTA on the management of medically unexplained symptoms in primary care, utilizing quantitative and qualitative research studies, is used to examine the practical application of the approach.RESULTS:Systematic comparison of yield from sifting with yield from the Publish or Perish software reveals (i) major trials for which corresponding qualitative studies were not previously identified, (ii) qualitative studies identified independently from, and potentially unlinked to, associated trials, (iii) associated trial reports (for example, protocols, feasibility studies, etc), economic evaluations and systematic reviews, and (iv) commentaries and correspondence; all with the potential to enhance understanding of trial context.CONCLUSIONS:The potential of the Publish or Perish-enabled CLUSTER approach to identify trials or qualitative studies, through “joining up” and mapping of clusters, potentially missed from separate quantitative/qualitative sift processes, means that it should be considered for any HTA that seeks to integrate quantitative and qualitative studies.

Abstract:
The study is devoted to determining the possibilities of using geoinformation systems and technologies for organizing and implementing geoecological monitoring surveys of lakes in the territory of one of the largest lake regions within Kazakhstan—the North Kazakhstan region. The important task of creating a unified electronic catalog of lakes in the study area and placing it in free open access was practically solved. The studied quantitative and qualitative composition of topographic, cartometric, morphometric, hydrological, hydrochemical, hydrobiological, geoecological and other data on the lakes of the region made it possible to use in the catalog a number of cartometric and morphometric indicators common for all areal water bodies. For each of these indicators, a fixed set of values was determined containing information about various aspects of their state. In the procedure for describing and characterizing lakes, such parameters as their length, width, average and maximum depths, features of the bottom topography and its profiles, the length of the coastline and envelope, the degree of indentation of the coastline, the area of the reservoir and catchment area, the volume water mass, the degree of overgrowth of higher emersed vegetation, and others. Based on the analysis of the database of lakes created in Microsoft Excel application and desktop GIS digital mapping software product MapInfo Professional, a series of geoinformation and cartographic materials was prepared, in particular, maps that allow you to quickly obtain the necessary cartometric and morphometric indicators and geoecological characteristics of large lakes in the study region. Thus, by using the potential of graphical visualization of information from a specialized regional GIS in the MapInfo software shell, the possibilities of graphical representation of traditional statistical data of qualitative and quantitative cartometric and morphometric characteristics of lakes are clearly illustrated. The results of the work carried out, the obtained geoinformation and cartographic materials and significant amounts of information accumulated in databases of specialized regional GIS make it possible to organize and carry out a complex of full-scale monitoring studies of lakes for a large set of indicators, which is not only relevant and allows you to track the current state, but also to identify the dynamics of lake ecosystems within the territory of the region.

Abstract:
Formulation of the problem. The study aims to substantiate and determine the dynamics of changes in the use of information and communication tools in the process of training future specialists in vocational and technological education. Materials and methods. The study used theoretical analysis, surveys (questionnaires, interviews), observations, systematization, analysis of data, comparisons, and generalizations. Results. The analysis of a survey of future specialists in vocational and technological education conducted in 2016-2021 at TNPU named V. Hnatyuk is presented. Despite the high and medium levels of grades in the school computer science course, before the COVID-19 pandemic, some of the students rated their readiness to use computer technology as low, which was explained by gaps in practical training, software updates, and occasional use of digital technology in the classroom. The locations of students' work with computer equipment in the 2019/2020 academic year (at home, in offices and laboratories, with friends, at the place of work of parents, in Internet clubs, at the place of employment, etc.) were studied. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the prompted introduction of distance learning, the use of computer technology and software in all classes, which has helped to increase the IT skills of participants in the educational process. Conclusions. Analyzing the research data, it can be argued that the COVID-19 Pandemic has led to the rapid development of ICT in education. The dominant means of ensuring the educational process were laptops (99.2%) and mobile devices (98.4%). Most used software - Microsoft Office, Google cloud services; online platforms - Zoom, Google Meet, digital board Padlet; social networks - Viber, Telegram, WhatsApp; LMS systems (Google Class, Moodle). Further research is needed on the optimization of tasks for students, compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards of work with information and communication tools.

Abstract:
Towards auto didacticism in the learning of English language in Malaysian universities, students are required to do oral presentations as an academic task such as presentations of articles reviews, book chapter summaries and mini or final project proposals. To conduct these classroom oral presentations, students usually employ a number of technological aids and resources such as computers, overhead projectors and Microsoft PowerPoint software to create their slides. In fact, conducting coherent oral presentations goes beyond the use of technology to include appropriate use of linguistic devices called discourse markers. However, the absence or misuse of these markers in oral presentation would not only affect the flow of the ideas, coherence of speech and organization of facts but might also alter the intended message of the presenter. The objective of this study was to shed light on the use of these markers by focusing on the types and functions of these markers. For this purpose, a discourse analysis approach was used in which the data were collected in the form of audio-recordings of students’ oral presentations, and then analyzed based on Fraser’s (2009) classification and functions of discourse markers. The findings of this study are useful for instruction of better oral presentation performance of ESL/EFL learners in general and postgraduate students in particular. They also add to the current body of literature in the area of discourse studies.

Abstract:
Companies providing services for customers on-site require appropriate scheduling of employees and technicians. The availability, skills and experience of employees and travel times need to be considered. In addition, the required information should be made available as efficiently as possible. As a result of an increasing rate of digitalization, companies are changing from manual planning in Microsoft Excel or on planning boards and printed documents to integrated workforce management tools that automate planning steps and provide relevant documents. The market for these software tools is growing rapidly. In addition to established software providers such as SAP and Oracle, there are also small vendors on the market. Companies that decide to deploy their field service planning with an appropriate tool are faced the challenge of choosing a suitable method for the evaluating and analyzing the market. The paper is devoted to development of the model for the evaluation of software tools in the context of field service management in the oil and gas industry. The first step of proposed methodology involved market screening to identify suitable software tools. In the next step, criteria were defined that needed to be tested to compare the tools. Finally, the outcome of the evaluation and additional requirements allowed for a benefit analysis. After the evaluation model was developed, it was applied on five selected software tools. SAP Field Service Management was ranked as the best product for a defined use case. The tools from Odyssee and Salesforce ranked similarly in the categories that refer to the functional aspects. The field service management tools from Fergus and ReachOut are both available for free with very limited functionalities, and reached rank four and five, respectively. The result of this work can be used by companies providing services in the oil and gas industry to evaluate field service management tools. Following the model, a structured process is provided to reduce the time needed for software evaluation. Future studies can build on this work and focus either on different software tools or a different industry.

Abstract:
The aim of this research is to study the acceptance of university students to use Microsoft Teams e-Learning system and their intention to use it as a Learning Management System (LMS) for education during the COVID-19 pandemic in Jordan. An ex-tended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with a blend of external factors that are used together for the first time was developed and used for the purpose of this study. TAM was used because of its wide use and success during the past few years for evaluating the influence of different factors affecting the acceptance and intention to use e-Learning platforms within educational institutes. However, all the studies were examining the variables and factors affecting the behavioral intention and acceptance to use LMSs when normal and conventional classroom study is available. In this research, seven external variables, in addition to the four TAM variables, were introduced in a model including one external variable, Internet Connectivity (IC), used for the first time in the field of education. A model is constructed by extending TAM with the introduced external variables, hypotheses are constructed and a questionnaire for 396 students at two universities in Jordan is conducted. Reliability, confirmatory factor, model fit, and hypothesized structural model analyses are presented. Results show that all the variables tested affect, either directly or indirectly, the acceptance and intention to use MS Teams during the pandemic. 21 hypotheses were tested between the constructs and found significant except the relations between (Social Norm - Perceived Usefulness) and (Technical Support - Perceived Usefulness).

Abstract:
The development and implementation of the latest technologies requires certain changes in the management of enterprises, organizations and banks that seek to be competitive in the market. Many studies state that enterprises and organizations that are flexible and quickly adapt to changes in the external environment, quickly improve management, taking into account all approaches and methods, are successful in the market and successfully adapt to changes. Financial management in enterprises, organizations and banks through processes that enable effective management is an important and rather complex issue. It should be noted that in Ukraine, the improvement of financial management through the use of the latest technologies, such as, for example, digitalization, is not very active. At the same time, most enterprises in developed countries demonstrate examples of the implementation of various innovative financial management tools. These and other important questions need to be explored. In the scientific article, the analysis of information software, which is the most common in use, is carried out, their distinguishing characteristics are given, and the expediency of introducing innovative information technologies into the financial management system of domestic enterprises, organizations, financial and banking institutions to automate the planning and forecasting process is justified. The experience of 25 foreign industries that use information software was considered, and those that are most popular among foreign enterprises were determined. The authors considered the most prevailing in use foreign software, which can be used by domestic companies, provided the distinctive characteristics of such software and cited the examples of foreign companies that have already had experience in using the specified programs to automate the planning and forecasting process. The experience of 25 foreign industries was examined in this regard. There was created a comparison matrix between functions of the foreign software for automation of the processes of financial planning and forecasting: functions of the planning process, forecasting, reporting, and conducting analytics. Based on the results of the analysis, foreign software for automation of the planning and forecasting processes at enterprises was ranked according to four criteria: general rating, ease of use, quality of support, and ease of configuration. Special attention was paid to the most modern new generation business platform for financial planning and forecasting called Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) System, its modules were considered and advantages in practical use were determined. The list of the most popular information programs that can be used by domestic enterprises, organizations, and financial and banking institutions for effective financial management was given. These are BAS ERP, SAP ERP, “Galaxy ERP”, SyteLine, “Parus ERP”, Oracle E- business Suit, and Microsoft Dynamics AX. Conclusions and proposals were made regarding the implementation of information technologies for the purpose of effective financial management of domestic enterprises, organizations, and financial and banking institutions.

The leading direction in the field of nutrition is the creation of a range of products that contribute to improving health when they are used daily in the diet. The urgency of studying bovine colostrum-colostrum, which is an immune-modeling animal raw material, has been substantiated. Colostrum is a natural source of all the ingredients needed to build immunity. Biologically active substances contained in cow colostrum contribute to: restoration of immunity; restoration of the intestines and stomach; strengthening the nervous system; renewal of brain cells; improving emotional tone and mood; increasing vitality and performance; slowing down the aging process; protection against diseases of the intestines and stomach, cardiovascular system, respiratory tract, diabetes, allergies, osteoporosis and a number of other diseases. Colostrum contains a minimum of 37 immune factors and 8 growth factors that help the body fight disease and promote good health and longevity. The classes of immunoglobulins contained in colostrum, which represent the bulk of whey proteins, have been studied. Colostrum is a limited source of raw materials, its production period is short, there are many opportunities for industrial use, but due to the small amount of raw materials, the market remains undeveloped, with the exception of food additives. Taking into account the extensive therapeutic and medicinal properties of colostrum, its unique composition and properties, its composition and physicochemical properties were investigated, the fractionation parameters were determined using various systems. To process the experimental studies, the STATISTICA 12 software package was used. To obtain the regression equation, the matrix data were processed using the Microsoft Excel 2010 software package. The analysis of the data obtained indicates the possibility and prospects of using colostroma in food production technology.

Abstract:
This paper describes the e-Science Central (e-SC) cloud data processing system and its application to a number of e-Science projects. e-SC provides both software as a service (SaaS) and platform as a service for scientific data management, analysis and collaboration. It is a portable system and can be deployed on both private (e.g. Eucalyptus) and public clouds (Amazon AWS and Microsoft Windows Azure). The SaaS application allows scientists to upload data, edit and run workflows and share results in the cloud, using only a Web browser. It is underpinned by a scalable cloud platform consisting of a set of components designed to support the needs of scientists. The platform is exposed to developers so that they can easily upload their own analysis services into the system and make these available to other users. A representational state transfer-based application programming interface (API) is also provided so that external applications can leverage the platform's functionality, making it easier to build scalable, secure cloud-based applications. This paper describes the design of e-SC, its API and its use in three different case studies: spectral data visualization, medical data capture and analysis, and chemical property prediction.

Abstract:
This study focuses on the analyses of chat logs from chat conversations in which elementary school pupils ask help from their tutors. Starting from the initial observation that chat room communication and telephone conversation have certain obvious similarities I use results of conversation analysis studies into telephone conversations (Schegloff, Hopper, Houtkoop-Steenstra) to research the patterns of chat interaction. This provides me with the opportunity to have a detailed look into the sequence of chat conversations. As regards the theoretical framework of the interaction analyses, it is an interesting finding that technical possibilities of the medium have an influence on the way in which the interaction by participants is structured. For instance, there is less need to go through an identification-frequency in chat communication than there is in telephone conversation. At the same time, the nature of the medium seems to influence the conversation subjects and the way in which the conversation participants interpret an interaction contribution. A pupil who is familiar with commercially available chat software, for instance Microsoft Messenger, has a tendency to bring up informal conversation instead of asking for help.

Abstract - To enforce traffic regulations on the highway, police officers face obstacles in monitoring the use of seat belts on cars because cars on the highway are always on the move and almost all cars use window film to avoid the heat of the sun entering the car. Based on the above problems, the authors build a software that can monitor or detect drivers wearing seat belts or not with Microsoft Visual C # 2010. To monitor the use of seat belts, digital cameras are used to conduct image acquisition to be processed by computers. . Furthermore, the image is studied by a system using the Back Propagation Neural Network (BPNN) Artificial Neural Network method as the image of the driver using a seat belt. To make a detection, the test image is input that is the same size as the training image. The test results obtained the level of accuracy for image acquisition with a distance of 1 meter with a similarity using a seat belt with a maximum value of 9% and a degree of similarity without a seat belt of less than 4%. Abstract:
The study aimed to investigate the learning styles and multiple intelligences of English as foreign language (EFL) college-level students. “Convenience sampling” (Patton, 2015) was used to collect data from a population of 250 students enrolled in seven different academic departments at the College of Basic Education in Kuwait. The data elicitation instrument was derived from two standardized surveys: one on learning styles (Oxford, 1998) and one on multiple intelligences (Christison, 1998). Data collection utilized the Google Forms interface to facilitate participants’ access and responses to survey items through their mobile phones. Data analysis identified the participants’ general learning styles and multiple intelligences. The Microsoft Excel software program was used by the researchers to generate means, percentages, ranks, and standard deviations. Results indicated that while the participants’ dominant learning styles were global, extroverted, hands-on, and visual, their dominant multiple intelligences were interpersonal, visual, and kinesthetic. Implications for pedagogy included recommendations to accommodate students’ visual learning styles and multiple intelligences through the use of visual stimuli like PowerPoint presentations, charts, and graphs. In order to accommodate students’ extraverted and hands on learning styles as well as their interpersonal and kinesthetic intelligences, the researchers recommended the use of group activities such as role plays, simulations, and debates. Implications for future research included conducting learning styles and multiple intelligences studies in other colleges in Kuwait.
