Abstract:
AbstractDiversity amongst the different populations is one of the problems in the control of medically important mosquitoes. Wing morphometry was used to identify within-species variation amongst some populations ofAedes aegyptiin three areas of Lagos State, Nigeria. Ten landmarks on the right wing of adult femaleAe. aegyptimosquitoes were digitized using TPSdig software. Relative distances of the veins and interpoints were calculated as well as the Euclidean distances based on these relative distances. In three (50%) of the interpoints, the relative distances were significant (P<0.05) to both the Brown–Forsythe F ratio and Welch ANOVA. The highest Euclidean distance of 7.738 was between Ebute Metta 2 and Badagry; the lowest of 4.426 was between Ikorodu and Ebute Metta 2. The distance between Ebute Metta 1 and Ebute Metta 2 was 5.867, which is more than the distance between Ebute Metta 2 and Ikorodu. Three groups ofAe. aegyptiwere identified, and the differences in lengths and interpoints observed on the wing veins suggest a possible morphological divergence amongst populations.

Abstract:
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kinerja guru SD Metta Maitreya masih tergolong belum professional, dipeorleh nilai di bawah KKM, dan kurangnya komitmen organisasi guru terhadap sekolah, serta kurangnya tanggungjawab guru dalam bekerja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komitmen organisasi dan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja guru SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah 24 guru SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru sehingga sampelnya 24 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berbentuk kuisioner atau angket. Angket kinerja, komitmen organisasi, dan budaya organisasi sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Pengujian normalitas data dilakukan dengan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi ganda dengan menggunakan taraf α = 0,05. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Komitmen Organisasi (X1) dan Budaya Organisasi (X2) dengan Kinerja Guru (Y) secara bersama-sama dengan persamaan regresi Y ̂ = 81,388 + 0,295X1 + 0,466X2, koefesien korelasi sebesar 0,570. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan berguna untuk perbaikan kinerja, komitmen organisasi dan budaya organisasi SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan komitmen organisasi dan budaya organisasi secara simultan.

Nepali society for more than one and half decades has been under panicked condition losing many lives and property which remained irreparable for a long time. It is our memory that helps us reminisce those horrible past events from which one can hardly get rid of, thus, we are inflicted with the memories – traumatic memories that neither let us get rid of it nor let us live out of. We, as part of this painful past, have been with this reality. Many survivors have imbibed this fact in the form of printed media – writing memoirs, stories, novels, poems, etc, from which one can be aware of many such details which make us feel even more traumatic. Abstract:
Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to review approaches to Authentic Leadership and Mindfulness and to Global Competencies from the Buddhist perspective of Leadership Rajadhamma. It considers the parallel approach of Adam Smith's Moral Leadership. Design/methodology/approach – The emphasis of this paper is a critique of the limitations of current teaching and practices in developing ethics and moral conduct in MBA programs and Global Leadership programs. Findings – There is insufficient attention given to the Buddhist thought and practice of Leadership. Rajadhamma emphasizing the “Right Mind” and “Right Conduct.” Because of his moral philosophy Adam Smith is offered as of an exemplar of Bodhisattva whom business executives would respect and emulate. Research limitations/implications – This study is metatheoretical. The implications of this approach are to design Global Leadership Competencies with a greater emphasis on morality and ethical conduct. The practical wisdom of the Bodhisattva can provide a positive foundation for this design. Originality/value – From the metatheoretical perspective the Theory of Moral Sentiments of Adam Smith has very interesting parallels with Buddhist practice in the twenty-first century with guidance for Global Leaders.

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai optimalisasi metode Inquiry pada materi cinta kasih sebagai wujud meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada sekolah tinggi kususnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode inquiry pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada satu tempat atau jurusan kepanditaan Buddha pada STABN Raden Wijaya Wonogiri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran secara langsung menggunakan metode inquiry sangat diminati mahasiswa, sehingga pembelajaran dapat lebih menarik dan mahasiswa tidak merasa terdapat kejenuhan. Disisi lain mahasiswa dapat melakukan praktik langsung pada materi yang berkaitan atau dipelajari sehingga mahasiswa mudah memahami apa yang telah disampaikan oleh dosen sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih optimal.

This essay proposes a pedagogical ethic of love based on the four brahma-viharas -- also called the divine abodes-- of Theravada Buddhism. Witnessing, Kelly Oliver’s theory of mutual subjectivity, finds practical expression in the brahma-viharas, a comprehensive way to train the mind and heart to sustain an ethic of love in all of our relationships. Together, witnessing and the brahma-viharas offer an approach whereby we may choose to love students and to cultivate more open, responsive and egalitarian relations with them, in spite of academic asymmetries of power. In perplexing or vexing interactions with students, I draw strength from three of the four divine abodes: metta (lovingkindness), karuna (compassion), and upekkha (equanimity). Consistently applying the contemplative practices associated with these states begins to disentangle the threads of complicated social relations.

The research was conducted to determine the difficulty of the material science learning and implementation technology in the teaching learning process of high students in junior schools. The conducted at study was SMP Negeri 28 Pekanbaru, Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Middle School, Metta Maitreya Middle School and Bukit Raya Pekanbaru Middle School. The research methods useng descriptive qualitative which is obtained using Likert scale questionnaire sheets and interviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis toolpak. The results showed that Skeleton System Material included in the category of Fairly Difficult with an of average 25% and the Application of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) in Schools is still low due to inadequate. Based on the results of the analysis it was concluded that the application of ICT in junior high schools was still very low, so the development of disruptive so, the development of disruptive technology media is needed such as Tech Teacher that it was expected to improve student learning outcomes.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang pola komunikasi pada penerapan praktik meditasi di sekolah berbasis Buddhis di Banten. Sekolah berbasis Buddhis di Banten terdiri dari: Sekolah Dharma Putra, Sekolah Ariya Metta, Sekolah Atisa Dipamkara, Sekolah Jaya Manggala, Sekolah Bodhisatta, Sekolah Punna Karya, Sekolah Perguruan Buddhi, dan Ehipassiko School. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif-komparatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan studi dokumen yang kemudian data dianalisis lintas situs menggunakan teknik Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik meditasi di sekolah berbasis Buddhis di Banten berdasar pada ajaran Buddha dengan tipe pola komunikasi pelengkapan (complementary relationship) dan jenis pola komunikasi interaksional dengan tujuan yang sama yakni membentuk karakter positif siswa sesuai harapan pemerintah, sekolah dan orangtua. Penelitian ini berimplikasi sebagai bukti upaya sekolah Buddhis dalam mensukseskan program penguatan pendidikan karakter yang dicanangkan pemerintah serta dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan pengambilan kebijakan terkait pola komunikasi pada penerapan meditasi di sekolah-sekolah.

Abstract:
Salah satu faktor yang harus diperhatikan untuk mempertahankan kualitas produk adalah perawatan mesin (maintenance). Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, maka pihak pihak terkait harus mampu menemukan sistem perawatan yang baik sehingga dapat meminimasi jumlah breakdown mesin dan biaya perbaikan atau perawatan. Dalam proses produksi Tic-Tac, mesin yang sering mengalami jumlah downtime besar adalah continue frying. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi maintenance dari divisi Tic-Tac dan bagaimana tingkat efektivitas serta rekomendasi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan produksivitas tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah overall equpment effectiveness dengan six big losses. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata overall equipment effectiveness sebesar 97,69%. Hasil tersebut sudah melebihi standart OEE yaitu ³85%. Faktor yang mempengaruhi six big losses adalah breakdown losses yaitu sebesar 85,72% dari jumlah time losses yang terjadi. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi breakdown losses antara lain faktor mesin, lingkungan, metode, manusia. Dari faktor tersebut faktor mesin serta metode yang paling dominan. Untuk mengurangi hal tersebut, maka perlu adanya autonomous maintenance yang diberikan kepada operator, melakukan pelatihan bagi teknisi maintenance dengan adanya pengontrolan kemajuan ketrampilan dan kemampuan. Abstract:
Background: Hypertension and diabetes are two chronic medical conditions which require aggressive management. When both diseases coexist with hyperlipidaemia, it poses a greater risk for cardiovascular disease than with either of the diseases alone. Self-management, a pillar of chronic disease management, is unachievable if patients are unaware or inadequately informed about their medical condition. Adequate information about a disease and its management will empower patients to manage their medical conditions better Objective: To assess hyperlipidaemia knowledge and practices among hypertensive/diabetic patients with hyperlipidaemia. Method: This study was conducted in a secondary healthcare facility in Lagos State. A cross-sectional study design was used. Data collection was done using researcher-administered questionnaires. An educational intervention was thereafter carried out. Verbal feedback on impact of intervention was received from all respondents. Frequency distribution and cross tabulations were generated using SPSS version 23.0 at significance level set at p<0.05. The knowledge-related questions were scored and converted to percentages. Scores below 50% were considered poor, while scores of 50 % and above were considered good. Results: The overall knowledge scoring revealed that more than half of the patients had poor knowledge of hyperlipidaemia. A significant association was observed between gender and knowledge of hyperlipidaemia (p<0.05); males having better knowledge. Patients had good practices such as good level of medication adherence and appropriate dietary and lifestyle choices necessary for effective hyperlipidaemia management. Conclusion: This study showed that knowledge of hyperlipidaemia is poor in this patient population, especially among the females though patients emonstrated good hyperlipidaemia practices.

Abstrak – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh pemahaman konsep fisika siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan pemberian tugas awal dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe investigasi kelompok dengan kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas VII SMP Karuna Dipa Palu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen kuasi dengan desain “the non equivalent control group design”. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VII metta sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII virya sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pemahaman konsep dalam bentuk esai. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, untuk kelas eksperimen diperoleh rerata skor tes awal adalah 37,82 dan untuk tes akhir adalah 66,14 dari skor ideal yaitu sebesar 80. Untuk kelas kontrol diperoleh rerata skor tes awal 37,36 dan untuk tes akhir adalah 44,72 dari skor ideal yaitu sebesar 80. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung = 7,48 dan ttabel = 1,68. Ini berarti bahwa nilai thitung berada di luar daerah penerimaan H0. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, ada pengaruh pemberian tugas awal dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe investigasi kelompok terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa kelas VII SMP Karuna Dipa Palu. The prevalence of amoebiasis was investigated among pregnant women using a gold standard microscopy method. Stool samples were collected from pregnant women, from two primary health care centers (Iwaya and Ebute-metta). The study involved 203 pregnant women during their visits to the antenatal clinic in Primary health centres at Lagos Mainland from June – October, 2016. Each participant was interviewed using questionnaires to relate prevalence and risk factors to their socio-demographic characteristics. Among these pregnant women, 120 respondents provided their stool samples and this was parasitologically screened with 0.8% prevalence of Entamoeba histolytica infection, 7.5% with Entamoeba Coli, 0.5% with Ascaris lumbricoides, and 0.8% infection with Hookworm. A prevalence of 0.8% for the mixed infection of Ascaris lumbricoides with Entamoeba histolytica, and a prevalence of 1.7% for the mixed infection of Entamoeba coli and Entamoeba histolytica was recorded. Significant association (p<0.05), was established between infection and diarrhoea, and the residence of the pregnantwomen.Socio - demographic factors like age, sex, socio-economic status, type of toilet, source of drinking water (p>0.05) showed no significant association with amoebiasis prevalence. In conclusion, E. histolytica infection is generally low in Lagos state owing to good environmental sanitation within Lagos metropolis. Efforts should therefore be geared towards its elimination by provision of water for Lagos residents.

As part of the Western Ghats-Sri Lanka biodiversity hotspot, Sri Lanka harbors a rich and diverse fauna, especially in the perhumid southwestern part of the island. However, many invertebrate groups such as spiders continue to be poorly studied. The present paper reviews our knowledge about Pholcidae, a family of spiders that is well represented in Sri Lanka, both by numerous (10) introduced species and by a rich native fauna in five genera (described native Sri Lankan species in parentheses): Belisana Thorell, 1898 (6), Leptopholcus Simon, 1893 (1), Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805 (4), Tissahamia Huber, 2018 (4), and Wanniyala Huber & Benjamin, 2005 (9). Fourteen species are newly described: Belisana minneriya sp. n., B. badulla sp. n., B. gowindahela sp. n.; Pholcus metta sp. n., P. puranappui sp. n., P. uva sp. n.; Tissahamia karuna sp. n.; Wanniyala mudita sp. n., W. orientalis sp. n., W. upekkha sp. n., W. ohiya sp. n., W. viharekele sp. n., W. mapalena sp. n., and W. labugama sp. n.. All new species are described from males and females. New Sri Lankan records are given for 16 previously described species. Distribution data suggest that most or all of the 24 native species might be endemic to Sri Lanka, but the Indian pholcid fauna remains almost entirely unknown.

Brahmavihara Arama yang berlokasi di Desa Banjar Tegeha, Kecamatan Banjar, Kabupaten Buleleng merupakan vihara Buddha terbesar di Bali. Vihara ini merupakan tempat suci yang diperuntukkan bagi umat Buddha yang didirikan sejak tahun 1969. Brahmavihara Arama merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata bernuansa religi, edukatif, dan spiritual yang banyak dikunjungi wisatawan mancanegara. Keberadaan vihara ini sangat unik dan menarik karena berada di tengah-tengah komunitas masyarakat Hindu Bali. Terlebih arsitektur vihara tersebut tidak sama dengan vihara yang bercorak kebudayaan Tiongkok, namun lebih dominan menggunakan arsitektur Bali. Fenomena ini tentu memiliki aspek historis dan filosofis yang sarat akan muatan edukatif. Fenomena lainnya adalah adanya aktivitas pelatihan meditasi yang melibatkan wisatawan mancanegara secara terstruktur yang terpusat di vihara ini. Hal tersebut menarik dan penting untuk dikaji lebih jauh, sehingga penelitian ini akan berfokus pada permasalahan materi edukasi yang disosialisasikan kepada wisatawan, serta aktivitas implementasi spiritualitas yang terjadi di Brahmavihara Arama. Penelitian ini mempergunakan Teori Interaksionisme Simbolik dan Teori Fungsionalisme Struktural dalam menganalisis permasalahannya. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa aspek-aspek edukatif yang didapat wisatawan adalah toleransi (respect) dan filosofi pendakian spiritual melalui tahapan-tahapan dalam tiap struktur bangunan suci vihara yang dikunjungi. Sedangkan pola spiritualitas yang diterapkan pada wisatawan yang memang ingin mempelajari meditasi dilakukan secara bertahap. Tahap pertama adalah pengenalan ajaran Metta (kasih sayang universal), kemudian Samatha, yaitu melatih ketenangan melalui anapanasati, yaitu pengaturan napas. Setelah pengaturan napas dan posisi tubuh telah dikuasai barulah lanjut ke tahap Vipassana.

La legislazione italiana prevede infatti regimi diversi per le due classi di rifiuti: variano gli strumenti di gestione, le istituzioni che se ne occupano e i datasets utilizzati per azioni di controllo e monitoraggio. Se l'autoritŕ pubblica locale volesse in qualche modo monitorare l'origine e destinazione dei rifiuti cercando di far luce sulle cause generatrici del problema e sull'efficacia delle politiche impiegate sarebbe utile applicare un modulo di contabilitŕ ambientale tipo NAMEA che metta in relazione le attivitŕ produttive e le quantitŕ di rifiuti prodotti. L'applicazione di tale modulo implica tre passaggi fondamentali. Innanzitutto va individuata l'unitŕ critica di riferimento a cui i dati puntuali pervengono e sono elaborati: in base all'ordinamento italiano tale unitŕ per i RSU č il consorzio dei comuni. In secondo luogo occorre verificare come estrarre i dati di interesse per compilare la parte ambientale di un approccio di tipo NAMEA: il sistema di tariffazione (TIA) attualmente in uso permette una stima puntuale delle quantitŕ di rifiuti prodotti per attivitŕ produttiva. Infine č necessario adattare la classificazione dei RSU alla classificazione NACE tipica dei moduli NAMEA: la classicazione RSU permette di identifcare le codificazioni dettagliate NACE piů appropriate per settore terziario. Dato il dettaglio territoriale di cui si dispone č possibile redigere la matrice per origine e destinazione e quindi riportare dove e come il rifiuto viene trattato/smaltito/riciclato.

I casi mostrano come il romanzo, per la sua polifonia, le sue dinamiche genetiche, la sua contaminazione con le arti visive e drammati- che, richieda una infrastruttura digitale che metta in relazione tutti questi aspetti tra loro, anche in chiave didattica, costituendo un banco di prova della necessaria trasformazione dell’edizione critica digitale in un sito di ricerca e conoscenza dei testi e dei loro autori. This article proposes a reflection on the state of the art of the Italian novel in the digital world carried out through the analysis of modern prose texts in the website BibliotecaItaliana.it, examining the case studies of Manzoni, Pirandello, and Tozzi, and in particular three com- plementary projects and several digital editions as well as interactions among academic rese- arch, institutions, librarians, and publishers. The case studies show how the novel — thanks especially to its polyphony, its genetic dynamics and contamination with the visual and dra- matic arts — requires an infrastructure that also links all these aspects from an educational point of view. The novel may be considered as a testing ground for the necessary transforma- tion of the digital critical edition into a “knowledge site” of texts and their authors.

L’attività degli sceneggiatori è raramente sottoposta a un’analisi mirante a individuarne un profilo “autoriale” che, come viene abitualmente fatto per i registi, ne metta in luce stilemi ricorrenti e interessi tematici. L’articolo si propone di esaminare l'attività di sceneggiatore di Vincenzo Talarico. II tratto caratteristico di questo giornalista e scrittore è identificato nel contrasto fra l’attrazione per la retorica e l’atteggiamento sarcastico nei confronti della retorica, e quindi nella volontà di demolire con l'ironia le maschere pubbliche che coprono i vizi privati degli individui. Tale contrasto può essere sintetizzato da un lato dalle sue comparse, in qualità di interprete, in vari film nei quali si è calato nella parte di un avvocato dall’eloquio ampolloso e dai gesti enfatici, e dall’altro nella frequente presenza, nei film da lui sceneggiati, di scene in cui un discorso celebrativo e retorico viene continuamente interrotto, oppure contrappuntato da commenti sarcastici. Talarico, che Indro Montanelli definisce “specializzato nell’arte di mormorare”, ha spesso collaborato alla scrittura di film in cui venivano prese di mira le pose monumentali del fascismo. Anche nelle opere “di genere” (film comici, melodrammi) a cui ha collaborato si ravvisa la presenza di simili contrappunti. I film a cui ha partecipato prevedono spesso lo smascheramento di personaggio dotati di una doppia faccia. L'articolo esamina dettagliatamente le collaborazioni cinematografiche di Talarico, mettendole a confronto con alcuni testi letterari dello stesso autore (in particolare, le pagine su Tersite nel testo Pasquino insanguinato forniscono una guida per la lettura del suo percorso). L’articolo – che prende in esame anche alcuni testi inediti – intende quindi contribuire a far emergere legami tra film che gli approcci tradizionali, incentrati sul regista o sui generi, tendono a lasciare in ombra.

Up-to-date market information on prices for commodities, inputs and consumer trends can improve farmers' livelihoods substantially and have a dramatic impact on their negotiating positions. Information on new marketing opportunities and the market prices of farm inputs and outputs is fundamental to an efficient and productive agricultural economy. The main focus of this study was on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) use on agricultural marketing. Use of ICT (mobile phone, radio and television) and factors affecting ICT use in agricultural marketing in Eastern Hararghe were the objectives of this study. Random sample of 210 producers were selected from six purposively selected kebeles from Haramaya, Kersa and Metta woredas based on their production potential. Descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression model were used for analyzing the data and 63.8% were ICT users while 36.2% were not. The model result indicated that age, year of education, information seeking behavior and participation in trainings were significant determinants of ICT use. Network availability in the area, construction of electric line and infrastructures, network coverage throughout the country, affordable cost of simcard with free air time were opportunities for mobile phone use. Construction of electric line and infrastructures, wide area coverage of the frequency were opportunities for radio and television use. Alternative power source (battery) and expansion of Frequency Modulation (FM) stations were other opportunities for radio use. Interruption of network and electricity, language problem, absence of organized source of information are some challenges to use ICT. Adult education and trainings are useful to promote the awareness of producers; establishing basic infrastructures and services including electricity is basic requirement for ICT utilization. For the effective use of ICT, local languages needs to be used and trainings about how to use ICT also need to be provided.

AbstractObjective:Our aim was to evaluate caregivers' perceptions of a video, telephone follow-up, and online forum as components of a psychoeducational intervention.Method:Qualitative semistructured face-to-face interviews were conducted with 12 participants two weeks post-intervention. The study was conducted from September of 2012 to May of 2015. Family caregivers were recruited from four home hospice organizations (HCA Hospice Care, Metta Hospice, Singapore Cancer Centre, and Agape Methodist Hospice) and the National Cancer Centre outpatient clinic in Singapore. A purposive sample was employed, and participants were recruited until data saturation. Qualitative interviews were transcribed verbatim. Transcripts were coded and analyzed using content analysis. Two of the research team members were involved in the data analysis.Results:Two-thirds of participants were females (n= 8). Their ages ranged from 22 to 67 (mean = 50.50,SD= 11.53). About two-thirds were married (n= 7). Most participants were caring for a parent (n= 10), one for a spouse, and one for her mother-in-law. Caregivers favored the use of video for delivery of educational information. They liked the visual and audio aspects of the video. The ability to identify with the caregiver and scenarios in the video helped in the learning process. They appreciated telephone follow-ups from healthcare professionals for informational and emotional support. The online forum as a platform for sharing of information and provision of support was not received well by the caregivers in this study. The reasons for this included their being busy, not being computer savvy, rarely surfing the internet, and not feeling comfortable sharing with strangers on an online platform.Significance of Results:This study provided insight into caregivers' perceptions of various components of a psychoeducational intervention. It also gave us a better understanding of how future psychoeducational interventions and support for caregivers of persons with advanced cancer could be provided.

We are currently using new techniques that will help future educators to form speech competence (phonetics, vocabulary, grammar) of preschool children through the introduction into the educational process of methods that allow: to speak, write and listen. This method allows to implement the educational process at the Pedagogical Institute of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University with extensive use of multimedia forms of teaching material on the example of the content module “Theatrical Art as a Component of Preschool Education”, integrated course “Polyart Education of Preschool Children” for students majoring in 013 “Primary Education”, specialization “Preschool Education”. Students learn to solve problems, reveal ideas, use a cloud of words, compose comics, intelligence maps, interactive books, cartoons, videos, collages. The tasks of storytelling are covered: to capture the attention of the reader or viewer; to inspire trust; to create associations; to stimulate the emotional sphere and evoke empathy; to memorize stories. The main elements of storytelling and the main software tools for creating digital visualization of storytelling are identified. The essence of the concept of “storytelling” as a method of formation of communicative competence is substantiated and analysed. The activities of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies (ICR) in the practical training of future educators are revealed and a list of tools and programmes such as Closr, ZooBurst, Narrable, Storify, Metta, PowToon, Moovly, Wideo and GoAnimate, Chogger and ToonDoo, used in the work with students are presented.

In modern conditions of intensive dairy farming, the first and most important task was to ensure a high level of productivity of cows with simultaneous long-term use. Taking into account the important breeding aspect of the measure for intra-and interlinear breeding, it was considered appropriate to study the efficiency of combining the lines at the breeding of animals of the Sumy intra-breed type of Ukrainian Black-and-White diary breed by traits of longevity. The research on determining the effectiveness of combining the lines at breeding of cows on grounds of duration of use and lifetime productivity was carried out in the herd of pedigree plant PE "Burynske" of Pidlisnivskyi department in Sumy district. According to the results of evaluation of cows obtained by intrabreeding selection of eight genealogical formations of the experimental herd, was found significant effect of heredity lines on indicators of longevity. According to the estimation of longevity, the offspring of four lines were the best: Valiant, Sjuprim, Starbuck and O. Aivengo. Advantage of daughter progeny of sires Valiants line with the highest longevity over the animals of lines of Montfrech, Matt, M. Chiftein and S. T. Rokita on this basis amounted to 252–526 days (P < 0.01–0.001). The next by lifetime rating was the offspring of O. Aivengo's line sires had an advantage over cows of the above lines with variability of 220–393 days (P < 0.05–0.001). The same lines (Valianta, Sjuprim, Starbuck and Aivengo) almost did not differ among themselves by the number of used lactations (4.6–4.8) and exceeded cows of remaining lines by 0.6–1.4 lactation. The difference between the maximum and minimum values was reliable at P < 0.001. The highest yield for a productive life was obtained from cows belonging to the Aivengo line 1189870, which with a high reliability of difference predominated the offspring of all estimated lines with variability from 3532 (P < 0.001; Syuprim line) to 13617 kg of milk (P < 0.001; line Montfrech). High lifetime milk yields differed also descendants of sires lines Sjuprim (29684 kg), Starbuck (26811 kg) and M. Chiftein (26516 kg). Among the crossed variants with the minimum longevity indicators, offspring derived from bulls-sires of interlinear selection ♂Montfrech × ♀Mett and the reverse cross – (♂Mett × ♀Montfrech) are distinguished. This was explained to a certain extent by the fact that continuators of these lines were only crossbred sires of Ukrainian Black-and-White diary breed. In variants using the parent lines of Monfrech and Matt with maternal lines, the successors of which are Holstein sires, longevity indicators in the offspring obtained from these crosses are improving. According to the lifetime yield of dairy fat, the highest rates were obtained from offspring with interlinear selection of those sires who have the highest lifetime yield of milk. These daughters are from the crosses ♂Starbuck × ♀Sjuprim (1197.4 kg) and ♂S. T. Rokita × ♀Aivengo (1189.6 kg). An indicator of the effectiveness of longevity was also milk yield per day of life of dairy cows. Variability in interline selection varied from 8.7 (♂Metta × ♀Monfrech) to 12.0 kg (♂S. T. Rokita × ♀Aivengo). The difference between these variants was 3.3 kg with high reliability (P < 0.001; td = 5.95). Conclusions. Identified and confirmed statistical significance regularities concerning to influence the level of traits duration of use and lifetime productivity of an alternative selection system of linear breeding convinced about feasibility of regular monitoring to assess the combination of lines in the further breeding selection cows of Sumy intrabreed type of Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy cattle. Re-selection of the best options and rejection of ineffective ones will help to increase the genetic potential of longevity traits.

Abstract:
Art becoming life and its relative convergence to the ideality of autarky (aὐtάrceia), implies a maxim which coincides with the emancipatory promise of Art. NEO-Marxist authors have prescribed this maxim to Marx's early works, particularly to the thesis from his Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844, and elaborated it further on these grounds. This maxim has been applied by many avant-garde movements up to the contemporary moment: Bertold Brecht's political theatre, Guy Debord's situationism, site-specific art, fluxus, Joseph Beuys's social sculpture, etc. The common denominator of all these avant-garde practices is the imperative of an affirmation of their use-value - their realisation at the site of their own production, as opposed to the abstractness of their placement in the world. The site of this production is the site of the very production of sociability. Accordingly, the aim of this paper is to examine the maxim art becoming life in the wake of Badiou's ontology of the site by using the example of the modality of site-specific works in the conditions of contemporaneity.
